  Our food was delicious, but it was one of those things where only my DH & I would have known what went wrong.
  
  The food at the tasting was spectacular, the food at the wedding was good. I guess you lose some quality when it's cooked en masse.
  
  We served steak, and had discussed at the tasting that we only wanted to serve steak if it was cooked to order on a BBQ, not in a warming tray, which the caterer agreed to. Unfortunately that didn't wind up happening on the day, and I wasn't informed so we were a bit surprised when we went to the buffet and saw a warming tray. It was raining intermittently that day so perhaps that was the reason, but I wish I'd been informed.
  
  Our guests all seemed to really like the food though, and the serving staff was very nice.
