We hired Orlando’s catering for our wedding welcome party dinner at the World’s Fair Pavilion. We planned our event with Scott, who was patient in accommodating all of our requests and thorough in asking for our ideas and details for the event. Leading up to the event, we had no worries, knowing we’d be in good hands, as Scott was always available by email and was informative every step of the way. We enjoyed our experience working with Scott and his team, and our guests raved about the food that was served. We are so grateful to Orlando’s Catering for helping make our event a success!

Scott Orlando and his team did an INCREDIBLE job catering our wedding reception. We had a tough turnaround in an unusual space but his team did a great job at flipping the room, setting up the bar for the welcome drinks, and getting the buffet set up for the diner. We received many compliments on the food itself, the drinks were excellent, and the entire experience was very easy from our perspective. Scott responded to every question we had almost instantaneously, even when he was on vacation--excellent customer service.

They were very flexible with last-minute changes in headcount. We also thought it was a great value considering the level of service and quality of food/drink they provided. Would heartily recommend to anyone.

Dan was an amazing catering coordinator. He asked all the right questions and understood exactly what our vision was based on our budget. He was responsive to emails and phone calls. On the wedding day, the whole setup was beautifully done and the food was amazing! We got so many compliments on all of the dishes and the professionalism of the staff. Dan was very thoughtful and checked on us regularly and made sure we were taken care of. When it came time to clean the venue the entire Orlando's staff was efficient and thorough. They really made our day extra special.

We hired Orlando’s to cater our wedding and they were amazing. The food was great ( I highly recommend the fettuccine), the staff was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend Orlando’s for any event.

We had our wedding receptions at Orlando's in south county and it was beautiful! All of the staff were friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Scott helped us through the process from the initial visit/tasting, endless emails and changes, setting up and the big day. All of the office and event staff were pros and the food was AMAZING, all of our guests raved about how nice everything was. Orlando's was the perfect choice for us and their all inclusive packages were easy to personalize and came at an amazing value.

On November 20, 2021, our daughter was married and had her reception at Orlando's Event and Conference Center off of Dorsett Rd. When we walked into the venue it looked beautiful and elegant and definitely had the WOW factor! The food couldn't have been better - it was the best sit down meal that we've ever experienced at a reception/banquet. All of our guests commented on how excellent the food was, especially for serving over 300 guests. The staff at Orlandos was so accomodating from the moment we began planning to the delivery of the final product. It was a seamless event and they were able to accomodate all of our requests to make it a very special event.

We recently used the Orlando's center on Hoffmeister Avenue in St. Louis for my daughter's wedding. We rented the entire facility for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We also had the rehearsal dinner there the night before.

Scott and his team were FANTASTIC! We were one of those COVID couples who had to push their event to 2021. Scott honored our contract and worked with us over the next several months with many changes. He accommodated every request we had and found the most cost effective way to meet our needs! He and the entire staff at Orlando's were just incredible to work with! We will definitely consider them again for any type of event!

My venue, Villa Antonio Winery, used Orlando’s to cater our wedding food and it was soo good!! People kept complimenting and raving about the food all night and wishing that they could have seconds! Would highly recommended! They accommodated for my onion/garlic allergen with me being the bride which was awesome!

Working with Orlando’s was an excellent choice. Scott was highly responsive and very helpful throughout the entire process, the space is gorgeous, and I loved being able to customize my day with the numerous options provided.

Orlando’s was amazing for our wedding!!!! Not only did they help us with every single question we had along the way of wedding planning, they were there for us every step of the day for our wedding! Denise was wonderful to work with she was like our very own personal “day of coordinator” who helped everything go as smoothly & perfectly as possible at the reception & we couldn’t be more thankful! She really went above & beyond making sure everything we requested was done (especially getting our late night snack there)!! The food was absolutely delicious & we had many of our guests come up to us to say how great everything tasted & asked where it was from!! We will be using Orlando’s again for any future catering needs!

Orlando's catered my off site wedding. The staff was truly more helpful than the venue in planning event layout. They even made a "map" of the layout I wanted, which was very helpful for the vendors, band, and friends that helped decorate! They coordinated ordering/delivery of linens, tables, chairs, etc. which was extremely helpful in reducing the number of calls I was making myself. Day of, the staff at Orlando's had their eyes of the weather, moving the chairs when it rained 15 minutes before my (outdoor) wedding, and moving them back right before it started. The food was incredible - we had multiple guests ask where it was from and compliment the taste. Would 100% recommend for other events

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Orlando's Event Center and it was wonderful! The food was delicious, our guests loved it. The staff was so professional and accommodating. Laurie did a fabulous job! I would definitely recommend Orlando's for a wedding celebration venue.

We loved Orlandos for our wedding. Scott Orlando was amazing! From the first tasting I was so impressed and it just got better from there. Scott made a point to come introduce himself to me at the public tasting and made sure he was available if I had any questions. He really made a point to try and make me feel welcomed. We went to many other tastings where this was not the case. After booking Orlandos, Scott answered all my questions every time I called. He always got back to me very quickly if he was not in the office. We loved meeting with him and planning our reception. He made sure to listen and do exactly what we wanted. Everything was set up so nicely. They helped with our center pieces, the cake, and anything else we needed. We used our own table cloths and napkins and they were very accommodating about that. The tables were all set up perfectly. The food I can also not say enough about. Everybody at our wedding raved about the food and how it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. I can't say enough about this place. I was so impressed with Scott and his team.

I chose Orlando's because my brother had his wedding reception there 13 years ago. They were helpful when answering all my questions I had or called with.

We were about a month out from our wedding when our caterer decided to pull the rug out from under us. When we were left scrambling and were uncertain what we would do for catering, Orlando’s came in and provided us with a tremendous amount of help and hands on service.

We were fortunate enough to work with Denise. Denise was patient, compassionate, and kind. She spent the time to work with us, work within the budget we had planned, and give us an excellent dining experience.

The day of went so smoothly and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to serve us on the day of our wedding. Denise and the staff made things run smoothly and the food was delicious! We couldn’t ask for a better team to work with!

We’ve looked at venues for two months and Orlando’s Maryland Heights has to be the best venue we have found. It’s gorgeous in side and Laurie is amazing. Can’t wait for our big day

We used Orlando's in Maryland Heights for our reception. I can't say enough great things about them! We worked with Mike and Laurie, and they were incredibly accommodating. My then fiance and I were planning our wedding from out of town, and Laurie was super responsive to all e-mails. It made things a LOT less stressful. We were able to drop off our additional decorations the day before with Mike with a few instructions on what I saw for placement of each item. When we got to the reception on Saturday night, it was set-up PERFECTLY! The food was fantastic, and all I heard were complements about it and the space all night long. I highly recommend them for your wedding. They will strive to go over every last detail with you and make sure your night is perfect!

Orlando's was awesome! Jim is wonderful, very professional, organized and helped us every step of the way. The whole staff was professional and great, the food was amazing! We were impressed with the options and amount of food, everything was delicious and reasonable, and budget friendly which was a perk for them being so great!!

We are so happy we made the decision to go with Orlando's to do the catering and linens for our wedding. We tried a few other options, but not only was Orlando's way more affordable, their food was also better. Scott Orlando, went above and beyond both in helping to set everything up the the day before our reception and also during our reception to ensure that all food/drinks/linens/etc. were perfect- and they were! Even the little things like bringing my husband and I the hor d'oeuvres because he knew we didn't get any during the cocktail hour or bringing us the cheesecake cookie towers right over to our table as soon as they were put out. Those things definitely did not go unnoticed for us and we cannot thank Orlando's enough for their attention to detail, friendly staff, and helping to make our dream wedding become a reality. Tommy Craig was excellent with everything. He made great selections on food, setup, and decorations. I highly recommend Orlando's Event Center for your wedding venue.

From start to finish, Orlando's made our wedding planning process easy and efficient. Laurie always responded quickly to many questions via email and overall they did an AMAZING job on our wedding. The host for the night was super accommodating and made sure that I was notified if there were any changes that had to be made and our entire wedding and ceremony went perfectly. If you're looking for a place that includes EVERYTHING you need at an affordable price with great food and amazing staff. This is the place to book. I'm so grateful we went with them.

My wife and I got married on March 4th, 2017 and Orlando’s Catering was an awesome vendor!! They meet all of our needs and wants, catered to all of our allergies and restrictions and didn’t blow our budget out of the water. The bar was great and our contact, Scott Orlando, went above and beyond on the day of our reception to ensure that all food/drinks/linens/etc. were perfect!! Bartenders were great as well – I highly recommend using them!!

I absolutely loved my experience with Orlando's Maryland Heightd location and would recommend them to anyone, Whether your budget is $5000 or $50,000 they can offer you a wonder ceremony/reception. They have special discounted prices for off season, weekdays n afternoons. They also offer free upgrades with packages such as up lighting or your wedding cake. What really won me over was the great customer service. Every one of nice and very prompt with communicating and getting my needs/wants met. All our guest complimented how beautiful/clean the venue was not to mention they have great food.

We had our wedding on 1/9/16 at The Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles. Orlandos is one of the preferred caterers and they were outstanding. We worked personally Jim Helton throughout the process. We booked pretty late (about 2 months in advance) and received a slight discount so we upgraded the bar to the call brands (which I recommend if doing liquor), and did the basic buffet package which had plenty of choices and I received tons of compliments on the food (Chicken Spedini, Roast Beef, Green Beans, and pasta con broccoli). i had some friends going in on Saturday morning to do table decorations so Jim dropped of the linens off on Friday night for us. He had everything handled so I did not have to worry about a thing on my big day. He is very responsive to both phone and email. I also liked the fact that your total bill (including gratuity) is payed for in advance so no surprises at the end of the night. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing an off-site caterer, especially if they are one of the preferred ones. Best prices for comparable caterers and very responsive and flexible.

We worked with Denise from Orlando's to cater our wedding at The Sheldon Concert Hall. Orlando's is one of the preferred caterers at The Sheldon. Denise did an incredible job. We rented our table cloths, chair covers and champagne glasses through Orlando's, as well as appetizers and a buffet dinner followed by a late night snack of pretzels with assorted dipping sauces. Everything was delicious, and some of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Denise even saved some appetizers for my husband and me because she knew we wouldn't have time to eat them during the cocktail hour! I can't speak highly enough of Denise and her staff; they were very professional, and it felt so good knowing that I didn't have to worry about the food the day of the wedding. She took care of everything and helped the evening flow smoothly. We really couldn't be happier that we chose Orlando's.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue! The location on Dorsett has been beautifully remodeled, the common area rivaling the lobby of a posh hotel. The food was delicious. We chose the chicken spedini and the ham. Our staff the night of the event was very professional. Laurie Orlando and Maryellen are wonderful to work with. I felt Laurie was part of the family, helping us to plan our big day. Beautiful venue, delicious food, excellent service, all at an affordable price. I highly recommend Orlando's for your reception needs!

Orlando Gardens-Maryland Heights have been outstanding! Always able to answer any questions and helpful in finding the other to dos on your list. By booking them as my venue, I have accomplished most of the stressful wedding planning parts in one place. The amount of choices you get in their packages is by far the best I have seen.

I had always heard great things about Orlandos when I was younger, so of course I looked into using them for our reception! When I wrote Laurie about pricing, she was very helpful and let me know that their South County location was a bit cheaper compared to their Maryland Heights location. I couldn't believe the price for the Deluxe menu package and all of the things that came with it! Our wedding was on September 5th, 2015, and we had our reception in the David ballroom at the south county location. We had originally accounted for a guest list of 200, but 174 ended up being our final head count.

I worked with Laurie Orlando and Jim Helton. Both were super helpful along the entire process! We booked our reception over a year in advance, and Laurie answered every single one of my e-mails and questions within a day. She was always super nice and helpful, and trust me, I asked a ton of questions!

You meet 2 weeks before your event to go over last minute details, pick out your upgrades, and make your final payment. We got 3 upgrades with the deluxe package, and we chose to upgrade to the call brand bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, and the pretzel bites as a late night snack.

The food was unbelievable! Every one of our guests kept saying how great the food was! We had the prime rib, chicken spedini, roasted veggies, potatoes au gratin, and pasta in red sauce. I wish I had gotten to eat more of it!!

Our guests kept telling us how great our reception was, and it really did turn out great! We were able to come in on the Thursday before our reception (on Saturday) to set up our escort cards, place cards, and centerpieces. It was really nice to be able to go in early and set everything up ourselves. They were always accommodating with any requests we had! From the beginning to the end, Orlandos was the perfect choice for our reception, and we will definitely be back to hold another event here in the future!

Loved them. They were really there for us every step of the way! Food was excellent (especially liked the Asiago Risotto) and the staff was super friendly. They ensured that our wedding reception went without a hitch! They had great recommendations for vendors of florists, videographers, photographers, etc. and we chose most of our vendors based on this list!

I had my wedding reception at Orlando's and worked with Jim for nearly a year and a half of planning. Since I was planning from Texas, I needed a venue that offered almost everything I would need and I had to have someone that I could trust to handle things. I could not be happier with the service I received from Jim during planning and from all the staff on the day of. The food was also excellent and overall, there is nothing I can complain about. I would recommend Orlando's to any bride who wants minimal stress, great food, and great customer service.

Orlando’s was amazing to work with! We had an off premise wedding at World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park and Orlando’s is one of the approved caterers. Jim and Sam were wonderful! They were very welcoming, informative and treated us like a member of the family. They are very professional, easy to talk to and very responsive.

I must say, everything was above and beyond our expectations. The food was delicious and the décor was fabulous. Jim was able to work with an area vendor to provide us a dance floor and string lights. It really brought everything together.

We held an afternoon wedding reception at Orlando Gardens for our daughter. The people were great to work with, the location was very nice and the prices were reasonable. Everyone had a great time.

I absolutely loved working with orlando gardens. they were incredibly professional and even helped during my outdoor ceremony when our archway started to tip over (something a catering company does not have to do!) I was so glad we close them as our vendor and highly recommend them to everyone! Guests are still talking about our amazing food!

Our experience with Orlando's was more than we could have imagined. The staff were friendly and super helpful. The event planners were able to make sure all the details were considered and they were very flexible with the timeline. The food was AMAZING and we received lots of complements from our guests. Almost 2 years ago we Jim Helton of Orlando's Garden regarding our son's rehearsal dinner at the Lodge at Grant's Trail. Jim and his staff were so good, that we told him when our daughter got married, we would come back.

Last year we did just that when we started planning our daughter's wedding. Once again, Jim out performed himself. The wedding ceremony at the lodge was fantastic (even the weather cooperated, how did he do that?). The reception was excellent also. We heard so many compliments about the venue that Orlando's should really be proud of the great surroundings and excellent staff.

The entire staff from the shuttle driver to the bartender were courteous, helpful, pleasant, and gracious. In particular, we'd like to point out two key individuals; Jim Helton and Mary (at the lodge). We cannot say enough about these two employees. Consummate professionals are how we would categorize them.

We would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding or a simple dinner to engage Jim and his staff's services. We enjoyed working with all the partner companies and of course Jim Helton. Jim made it as easy as possible.

Thank you so much for all you have done. If we ever have another similar event, you know we'll be back. We might even come for a Sunday brunch (we hear they are fantastic also).

I am so glad to selected Orlando's to have my wedding ceremony. I got married at the Lodge and Grants Trail, which is on the same property as the Banquet Hall, and was extremely satisfied. The staff there was always polite and professional. I worked with Jim during the entire planning stage and he was absolutely wonderful. He was very professional at all times. The food was great!! I had some guests joking about "to go plates". Orlando's prices were very flexible which allowed me to plan exactly when I wanted to have my ceremony. The venue provided up lighting and great centerpieces. I would recommend this venue to anyone and ask for Jim Helton.

Orlando's catered our wedding at The Foundry Arts Centre on May 31. Our main person we worked with was Jim. However, on our wedding day Denise handled the set up and running everything. We could not believe how amazing Orlando's was from start to finish! Jim took care of making sure he knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted things to go. Denise did an amazing job making sure things went off without a hitch! If anything went wrong, we had absolutely no idea. The food was fantastic, and everything was set up just how we wanted! Everyone raved about how good the food was!

The staff at Orlando's was awesome every step of the way. Their prices for their reception packages were the best prices that I came across after months of researching venues. They also included more in their packages. I did not have to worry about anything on the day of. The staff took care of all the decorating, getting our guests situated, and cleaning up. They really do as much as they can to keep the bride stress-free.

I was the mother of the bride and I cannot say enough good things about Orlando Catering! I had originally booked another catering company. Then about 8 months before the wedding, I recieved a letter stating that Orlando had bought out that other company. I was a little concerned and skeptical at first. But Orlando honored my contract and pricing with the other company. Then they proceeded to give me outstanding service, answered all my questions no matter how trivial, and customized our menu to our tastes. They were so friendly and professional at the reception, and the food was beyond delicious! My husband and I had so many people come up to us and say how much they enjoyed the food and it was some of the best "wedding" food they had eaten! Thank you so much Orlando Catering and Dan Snyder for knocking it out of the park for our daughter's wedding!

The food was great! We did a buffet with prime rib and chicken, we had more compliments on the food than we did on anything else with the whole wedding weekend! It was very worth the money and it tasted even better than when we went for the taste testing. They had a great selection of menu items and our guests all seemed very pleased!

These guys were amazing! The food was great, the staff was helpful and kind and made attention to the little details, which really made a big difference. I even had guests comment on how great they were.

Orlando's in South County hosted our 40th wedding anniversary. Jim Helton helped in many ways to make this a memorable evening for all. He was flexible, understanding, and above all interested in making our event perfect. The entire catering staff gets an A+ as well as an excellent diner. Our guests positively commented on the banquet hall and food.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Orlando's cater our wedding a week ago at NEO on Locust. We worked with Denise and she was amazing! We had a buffet style dinner at our reception and the guests raved about how good the food was. Everything was wonderful. The food was very good (especially the garlic mashed potatoes), there prices where perfect and I was able to make monthly payments, the deposit was very reasonable, there recommendation of cake places (Wedding wonderland) was perfect and I received a discount through Orlandos because I used one of their venus, I had a photo booth (from trotter photos) and Orlandos made sure that everything was sit up perfectly and available for them. I had my wedding and my reception there in two different rooms and it was everything I dream of plus. My guest were happy and so was I. The staff made me feel very comfortable. I was married on a Sunday and besides my event there was only one more reception going on and Orlandos did very well with making sure that our guest knew where our party was. If I was asked to do it over again with my husband I would choose Orlandos ten more times.

Orlando's did such an amazing job for my wedding reception!! Not only were they right on target with where my budget needed to be but the facility itself was soo gorgeous. You get so much for your money here. Laurie Orlando was my main contact and she was just amazing. Laurie was always available to answer my questions and concerns, she was very professional and so kind. She was there the day of my reception to make sure everything was set up as planned. I was nervous as the facility set up my centerpieces all I had to do was drop it all off but they followed the instructions perfectly and everything looked gorgeous when I arrived. ALL of my guests raved about how delicious the food was which was very important to me as well. I couldn't have picked a better spot for my wedding reception and I would recommend Orlando's to anyone!!

To think we wasted 2 full days looking at reception halls when the one to pick was right in our own backyard!

Orlando Gardens on Dorsett not only is a stunning facility but the people are even better.

From start to finish, they deserved every penny they got. From the coordinator to the servers to the bartenders, they were visible, pleasant, accommodating...!

Our party was 190 people and it was so smooth!

We want to give a big thanks to Orlando's. Our reception went perfectly, and we were extremely impressed with how well Orlando's coordinated everything. My wife and I never once felt stressed or rushed. They were completely accommodating and required little direction. For example, we gave them a box full of our items and a quick hand written note the week before the wedding. Upon arrival at the reception the day of the wedding, all of the decorations, party favors, specific reserved tables, toasting flutes, etc. were all laid out beautifully in their proper place with no further questions asked.

They also made it convenient and easy for us to enjoy the time with family and friends by fully coordinating with the DJ for the key dances and other reception events. There was even a specific banquet hall representative that saw to all details so that no questions were directed our way.

In addition to the incredible food, we received nothing but compliments from our guests about how beautiful the banquet hall was, and that was not just referring to our room, but the entire venue.

We want to thank Orlando's once more and can definitely say that we will be recommending this venue to our friends and family.

Orlandos is awesome. Jim at the front desk is amazing and very helpful. They design a package that fits your budget. Very good product for the money. I definitely would suggest them to anyone.

Orlando's provided catering services to my daughters wedding at the Jewel Box in Forest Park It was a wonderful experience. Jim Helton helped plan the event and he and his team delivered outstanding food, beverage and services for the evening. Truly a wonderful experience. This is the second time we have used Orlando's for a wedding. My other daughter used the Orlando facility and service 17 years ago and this event utilized just the catering services. Both were outstanding..

Let me just say this, if you want a down to earth venue & a beautiful banquet hall ? Orlando's is the place. I was so happy & pleased at my wedding from the food to our last dance. Everyone there has a special place in my heart. My mom had the best time... & you know mothers lol

Orlando's was a Godsend to us. After we decided to sign up with them based on reviews we read elsewhere, we were so happy with the level of service they provided for us. They accommodated our requests and were very affordable...we did not want to have a wedding the broke the bank, and at Orlando's you do not have to. However, for what we paid, we got a beautiful ballroom to accomodate our 175 guests, and a few days before moved us into a nicer, bigger room because it was going to be unoccupied the night of our wedding.

The food was great! The private tasting was a great way for us to check out the food, and it was delicious. It was much better than what I would have expected for wedding food. Top notch.

Laurie Orlando was the best at getting back to us with any of our questions, and always had a cheery thing to say in her emails. I could not recommend Orlando's any more highly. We have other friends getting married soon, and we have already recommended it to them.

I would highly recommend Orlando's and specifically Jim Helton as an event manager. He was professional and wonderful to deal with. He made our day extra special.

I am sure everyone at Orlando's is great because our event went so well and the food was amazing - BUT I worked directly with Denise and she, to me, is what made them exceptional. I am a very anxious person, especially when I'm doing something I've never done and she was so good to me. I didn't want to overwhelm her with silly questions and she made me feel like nothing I asked was silly and that no matter what she will be there to answer anything and be there to make the event go perfect. To me, that is what happened. I adore her as a person and a professional and I can't thank her enough for her help. She certainly represents Orlando's well.

In regards to the food and the service the day of - to me it was seamless and delicious. Everyone LOVED the grilled cheese and the quiche. I, unfortunately didn't get to enjoy it as much because I was too anxious to eat, but what I did have was very good.

Oh and I have to add, Denise made sure to put away some cake for us so we could have it for later. Thank goodness she did, because we didn't really get to have any that night. Thank you Orlando's and Denise for an awesome Wedding!

We have used Orlando's to cater two events this school year. The food and service at both events has been outstanding! Working with Denise Stevenor has been a very positive and enjoyable experience. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout the evening. We look forward to working with Orlando's again at our next district event!

He answered all of my e-mails and phone calls in a very timely manner and made me feel very at ease during the process. He understood my vision and promised me it would all be taken care of. My guests raved about the quality of the food and we all had plenty to eat. Jim was present during the entire event, personally served the head table, and visited the guest tables to see if anyone needed anything. I would recommend Orlando's for the value and quality, but insist that you request to work with Jim!!

I used the Orlando Gardens Maryland Heights location off Dorsett. My ccordinator was Candee Cundiff and she was absolutely a JOY to work with. The Maryland Heights location is a renovated location and has brand new EVERYTHING. The place has high ceilings unlike the other OG locations. Everything was fresh and new inside and didn't feel clostrophobic like many typical banquet centers/halls. They pair up with Doubletree and Wedding Wonderland (cake place) to give us free shuttle service for our guests that stay at Doubletree and awesome wedding cake. This place is very pretty! And we were on a budget, but the price fit our budget!

The place was great, the staff were wonderful and the food was fantastic! Tommy was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, and Sandy took great care of us the night-of! We could not have asked for a better wedding!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Drew and Mike at Orlando's. Initially, it wasn't quite clear that everything would turn out all right: we had a vision for the ceremony and reception that didn't quite fit the specific rooms and services laid out in the contract--specifically, we had agreed on a appetizer menu, but when we started measuring for tables it looked as if the rooms we had booked wouldn't have enough space for both the appetizer stations and for reception seating. But when Drew and Mike realized what was going on, instead of holding us to the letter of the contract, they offered us an extra room free of charge for the appetizer stations--one that made everything come together. This is to say that having told us we could have an appetizer menu, they were willing to live up to their word and adjust to make that possible, in a really professional manner.

After planning a wedding, I've come to think that it's impossible to really specify everything in a contract that needs to be indicated (especially for people--like me--without much experience in business negotiation, who might not think that measuring rooms for table space would be necessary at the outset). You need vendors you can trust to do right by you: who, when push comes to shove, will help you find a way to realize the ceremony and reception you want regardless of what exactly they're committed to on paper. The people at Orlando's offer exactly this kind of service. When you go to them, you can trust that they'll give you great service at a reasonable price (rest assured, we did a nightmarish amount of price comparison), and you can trust more generally that if you've agreed on a vision with them, they'll help you create it even if you didn't measure out every single detail in the contract. I would happily recommend them to my friends.

Orlando's staff was very professional, kind, and helpful! They responded via email and answered every question satisfactorally! When it came time to the event they set up our table decorations and our guest favors perfectly! The food was very good, getting some rave reviews from some, and everyone especially liked the cheddar bacon potatoes. The only complaint I had was that the bar tender seemed to be a little light handed on the mixed drinks... so I switched to wine! Overall, I would definitely do another event there!

The Lodge at Grant's Trail makes you feel like you are on a destination wedding in South County, MO. The decor is rustic, but classy at the same time. The staff is excellent and willing to help in any way possible. The food is excellent, our guests are still talking about how good the food was at our reception. Many of our guests stayed the night at the lodge, as did we, and we all had a complimentary brunch buffet at the lodge the next morning. It's a whole wedding weekend experience!

I never had to worry about a single thing on our Wedding Day. Orlando's worked with our Venue (The City Museum) and our cake specialist (Sarah's Cakes). All we had to do was enjoy each other while the Brunch and Bar were taken care of.

Just AMAZING! I understand that picking a venue is a huge task but going with Orlando's will literally make your wedding easier! I can promise you that! I am in the military and was planning an out of town wedding and doing it all myself while still working. Orlando's made it so easy for me and I couldn't be more thankful! Denise was incredible!! It was like working with family with Denise, Sandy and the whole staff. They were extremely flexible with everything we wanted and everything we asked for we got and more!! The service staff was just hands down fantastic! This is what I had written to Denise earlier today:
"Denise--you kept this OCD bride sane and that's hard to do. You even dealt with us probably asking you the same questions over and over again but you did it with a smile. It was such a breath of fresh air to work with a group of professionals who all love what they do!! Sandy was amazing our wedding night when you left....just terrific! And her husband at the bar (a name cannot come to mind right now)....well let's just say everyone loved that man. Everyone! And hopefully the amount of tips he made that night just goes to show the spectacular job he did! And I believe their son was there too....hard work just runs in the family, that's for sure! The best part about Orlando's being so great to us is that besides the fact of us always talking about it to people and friends, all of our guests saw what a great job they did and I know for a fact will be recommending you guys to everyone they know!!"
You have just got to be insane to not go with Orlando Gardens! They did our ceremony, reception and catering. This was the only thing my husband has picked and I know for a fact he will take this to his grave as one of his best ideas! I had my reception at Orlando Gardens. They did such an awesome job, and my guests are still raving about the food. I suggest that you spend then extra to have the chair covers and sashes, they make all the difference and the room looked so ellegant!

Orlando Gardens contributed to a phenomenal service for our wedding reception, and went above and beyond their call of duty. Services which had a price tag were provided for w/o additional costs (i.e. cake passing). The service manager of the night was very friendly, made sure everything was up to our expectations and was on top of the details (Wedding party-line up for DJ announcement; periodic checks during reception; assistance in retrieving wedding gift card"box" contents). Their wedding box was a nostalgic item; it was like an old front-door mail slot w/o the door. Very cool. Gotta love the whole reception ensemble: chandeliers, dimmed but not dark room, walled mirrors and hardwood floors for buffet/dj/dancing.

We purchased the dinner buffet package, and was skeptical on the taste. Mostly because we lived out of town and didn't have a chance to test the food. However, the food turned out to be delicious. I recommend the chicken spiedini and cavatelli and their salad was fresh!

Plus side on the expense is that there is no room rental or minimum to meet for the dinner service (Not that I can recall).

They also referred us to a DJ service who totally rocked! We loved our enthusiastic and professional DJ.

Also, they made it easy for us when it came to setting up the dinner tables with wedding favors and menus. Drop it off and they will set it up!

We couldn't have picked a better place to do our wedding. Up until the day of the wedding Drew was extremely helpful in getting every last detail planned. He was very accommodating and happy to help. On the day of the wedding, Chip made sure everything was in order and everyone was in the right place. Orlando Gardens is great because they have someone helping you every step of the way. The room was beautiful and the meal was delicious. They also partner with several other area businesses to make this a one stop shop. They made it easy to get a cake, find a dj, and even find a shuttle to bring guests from the reception to the hotel. I would highly recommend this venue.

I had my reception at the Wester Groves location. Everything ran smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was good and the drinks never stopped. For those on a budget I reccommend Orlando's Gardens. They will treat you right and give you your money's worth.

We got married May 13th, 2011 at the Worlds Fair Pavilion in Forest Park. That venue can be difficult to plan for, but Jim with Orlando's was amazing! He was very quick to respond to any questions and was always very nice and helpful. He offered great suggestions and planned our reception perfectly! We didn't have to worry about a thing! And all of our guests raved about the food! Jim really made our day special. You will not be disappointed!

I could not be more thrilled with the Orlando family. Our ceremony was held at the beautiful Lodge at Grant's Trail. This 3-story log cabin bed and breakfast was the perfect setting for our rustic themed wedding. Every detail adds to the charm of this venue. Our family members each had a room for the night, allowing us to share breakfast together on the first day of our new lives. We will be back every year to remember and celebrate this special night.

The reception was held at the banquet hall. All of guests raved about the delicious food. The entire staff was so courteous and helpful from the moment of planning, to ensuring the hall was setup perfectly, to caring for us throughout the night, and even to ensuring all of our belongings were packed safely away for us to take home. Every step of the way was seamless. We cannot thank you all enough for making our wedding dream come to life.

The staff at Orlando's is amazing!!!! 2 weeks before my wedding we had a drastic drop in the number of people to attend the reception. I contacted them and within 24 hours we had a new contract written up and my reception was moved to a smaller ballroom in order to keep us from over paying by about 50 people. They have amazing customer service. They also are fantastic at fixing any problems on the spot. When my parents arrived ahead of the bridal party, the A/C was having some problems. Within about 20 minutes of my mother notifying the staff they had the problem fixed. This was especially important considering the heat index that day was 105 degrees!! The food is wonderful, the facilities are beautiful and well kept, and the staff is simply beyond compare!!

Everyone we worked with at Putting on Orlando Gardenswas extremely professional and helpful. The food was outstanding! Any event I have ever been to where Putting on the Ritz is catering has always been delicious. Always friendly and consistent. They have a good selection to fit any style wedding.

This reception host/caterer was absolutely wonderful! We were all so frazzled and lost track of time, but they people there were very on top of things and made sure everything went smoothly, which it did!

Our wedding reception was perfect! Jim was fantastic to work with while planning, and he offered many suggestions on how we could customize our event to our needs. Guests commented on how wonderful the food tasted (even those who had been to Orlandos many times before), and they also talked about how elegant the hall looked. So glad that we opted for the deluxe buffet and the mirrored tiles/votive candles! Also, in terms of the packages, everything was clealry explained on the contract, and Orlandos honored it so that there were no hidden fees or unexpected last minute costs. Also, an added relief...the staff at Orlandos was gracious enough to set-up our favors for the guests so we didn't have to arrive early or spend time on set-up. Our manager, Sandy, was professional and genuinely seemed interested in making the night special. She also made sure that everything ran on time and smoothly with the buffet, cake cutting, and dances. It was nice to know that she and the DJ had everything under control so that my parents, husband, and I could relax and enjoy the evening! I could not be more pleased with the night or have asked for a more wonderful celebration! I highly recommend Orlando Gardens.

Orlando Gardens was a fantastic reception venue. Drew and Mike were so great to work with and so flexible with the different things I wanted. The hall was beautiful and the food was amazing, lots of my guests commented on that. The outside of the building is deceiving to how big and nice the inside is.

Working with Terri Noftsinger from Orlando Gardens was GREAT! She was always available when I needed here and she organized everything fabulously. All of the rentals were perfect. The food was perfect for the event.

Orlando's did a great job catering to all of our needs. They worked with me to ensure every detail was what I had pictured. They provided the delicious food as well as linens. They even set up the reception room with the florist.
