As an out-of-town bride, I knew I would need help planning a wedding in South Bend. I was referred to Cher and Merry Events by a friend who, herself, is an event planner. (I knew she would know who to go to!) This was, by far, the best vendor referral I've ever received. If I could give Cher and her crew, 10 stars, I would.

Cher, and her team, are an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first meeting to the last, she was everything we needed in a planner- her ideas, flexibility, commitment to her brides, creativeness and professionalism were outstanding. She was able to work with our budget to create something I could have never put together ourselves. She designed our flowers, decor and even the details on our cake!

Our assigned Day of Coordinator, Richelle, was everything we hoped- she was under the radar, and moved our day right along and on schedule. The day of was effortless, and thanks to Richelle, no one in our family had to worry about the tiny details. That alone is worth EVERY penny. She was professional, flexible, and our families enjoyed working with her.

Most importantly, Cher made me feel secure in our budget, planning and those tiny details. Let's face it, how many of us have planned our weddings before? Sometimes, you just need a little positive assurance in your decisions and time-lines. I hope, we are able to work with Merry Me again!!!

Cher and Chanel were AMAZING! My wedding was totally feathers, including bouquets, and they made my exact vision come to life. I didn't even really have to say much, she saw what I was going for through my bouquets and dress, and brought my exact vision to life. When I walked in the room, I was blown away! I recommend Cher to EVERYONE! I wish I had realized how valuable her service was going to be. If I had, I would have just put the whole wedding in her hands. Which, by the way, she was on maternity leave for a lot of the time, and still was able to pull off the amazing day! thanks so much!!

Cher was another gem to work with. I considered myself a very laid-back, no-nonsense bride who wanted a comfortable, yet glamorous wedding. When I was scouting for wedding planners in the Notre Dame area, I was disappointed because the vendors seemed stuffy. I was so glad when I found out about Cher's business through a friend of a friend.

- she worked really well with the other vendors we hired...she especially was giddy with another treasure, Amanda Fales!
- she was flexible with my budget and created a custom planning contract for me.
- she was honest about where she would be needed and not needed. This made the planning and rehearsing process smooth.
- her floral was amazing. I was so, so so happy. I felt like I needed to blow a fortune in the area to get the classic, chic look I was going for but she did not disappoint.

I wish I had a bigger budget to create my dream look, but it wasn't possible. It was still lovely though--floral is pretty expensive, but it's like that everywhere. Relative to the places my spouse and I are from, it was just fine.

Cher was INCREDIBLE. She took time to sit down with me and create the wedding that I envisioned, even within my very tight budget. I would reccomend her ten times over to anyone getting married in Northern Indiana or anywhere close!

Cher was great to work with and had so many wonderful ideas for our wedding. My budget was very limited and I wish we could have allowed her to do more, but it wasn't feasible.

Cher did a wonderful job designing our wedding and providing the floral arrangements. She was very professional, offered great creative suggestions and overall transformed our venue and was a joy to work with. She took every one of our phone calls, handled anything extra we needed, and treated us as if we were her only clients in the world, despite the fact that we knew she had many other weddings that summer. This woman is phenomenal. We're only sorry that our wedding had to come to an end because we enjoyed working with her so much. We'll just have to hire her again when our kids get married! :)
