Bethany provided a service that exceeded all expectations. We could not have imagined a better experience. Not only was the final product spectacular but the service on the day of was impeccable. Words cannot express how pleased we are with what she added to our day and the memories she captured.

We just had our wedding on June, 17th and haven't even received the final photos yet but couldn't wait to share how great Bethany from Maypole Studios is! You could easily pay twice as much for a photographer in Chicago with a quarter of the talent Bethany has.

We had our engagement session in October and were thrilled with the photos Bethany took. We were a little nervous to pose and were worried we would have unnatural/standard engagement photos but Bethany did an amazing job capturing us and our personalities! Our photos were so beautiful...we plastered them all over our website and save the dates.

Bethany went above and beyond in every way. She was in constant contact before our wedding, went to our pre-wedding walkthrough, hired an excellent and fun assistant to capture the groom and groomsmen bowling before the ceremony and styled our photo-booth for the wedding which was a huge hit...there was a line the whole night. She also recommended Carley Martin for make-up who made us all look flawless.

I'm sad our wedding is over mostly because we won't be spending time with awesome people like Bethany.

As a soon-to-be bride, I could have waited to review Bethany until after my wedding in July, but I just had to share how amazing she has been thus far!

My fiance and I put a lot of time and effort into the hunt for our wedding photographer, but as soon as we met Bethany, we knew our search was over. It's extremely important to not only love your photographer's portfolio, but you must also enjoy their personality. These people are in your face all day on the most important day of your life, so personality is key.

With that said, Bethany is just a dream to work with. She is so sweet and funny, and man is she talented! So far we've only had our engagement shoots, but they turned out spectacular! If you are looking for pictures that stand out and don't look like everyone else's, Bethany is the photographer for you. She has such a keen eye, and she really has a knack for capturing great moments. Her services are extremely affordable, and I am so thankful she'll be snapping away on my big day in July!

We had a 300+ Chicago wedding September 2009 and Bethany exceeded all our expectations. From the moment I met with her, I knew that she was going to be perfect for us.

NOT ONLY does she have a unique and beautiful eye for posed/fashion photography, she has a great photojournalistic sense for catching priceless moments. MORE IMPORTANTLY she is awesome. The last thing you want on your wedding is a photographer you don't get along with. She was like family, and everyone agreed that she was so fun to be around and in general a sweet and hardworking photog. LASTLY her price point is low and her quality compares with professionals in a much higher range.

She was with us from the moment we started getting ready until the bitter end (as was her assistant). She even set up a photo station with a backdrop so our guests could take group shots throughout the night- that was a HUGE hit and a great alternative to the trendy-but-costly photobooth idea. Before the big day, we did a walk through at our wedding site so we mapped out ALL the pictures in advance.

In the end, we got to keep all our pics (all 2000 of them!) on a disc and she even put together a fancy video slide to our first dance, which everyone loves! She even worked with my type-A "look book" of wedding photos I liked and replicated/put her own spin on some of my favorites. Amazing!

Maypole Studios provided me with the BEST service a stressed bride could ask for! My original wedding location did not work out, one can only imagine how disappointing that is.
