She is a hero
Kevan came to the rescue the morning of my wedding when my makeup artist had an emergency and couldn't make it, and she was fantastic. She drew on notes from my trial and put it together beautifully. I felt great without feeling buried in makeup, and it was wonderful to have her calming and reassuring presence as I got ready. She is a gem. -

Kevan is the best there is. I asked for a softer look and I felt like she really elevated my features without making me look super done up. Wedding days can be a lot of pressure, and addition to making us look great, Kevan was super calming and delightful to be around! She is worth every penny! -

Makeup was perfect, even in a mask!
We hired Kevan for our microwedding in April 2021. I was really nervous about the makeup aspect, because I knew I would need to wear a mask for part of the event, and be taking it on and off throughout the evening. From the first makeup trial, Kevan explained her process and applied a foundation that would help makeup hold even with a mask. She was right: The makeup held perfectly after the trial, and held up during the entire microwedding! We've hired her again for our larger reception in April 2022, and I recommended her to another friend getting married in May. Professional, attentive and friendly - everything you could ask for in a makeup artist! (Note on photos: The second two photos of me and my bridesmaids at dinner show us after we had taken our masks on and off a few times. In the first photo, my bridesmaids had taken their masks on and off a few times, but I had only done so once.) -

Natural Beauty
Kevan did a wonderful job with my makeup for my wedding and her team did a great job on my bridal party as well! I wanted a natural & subtle look for my wedding day and Kevan made sure it happened. She even worked with me to do a second trial run just to make sure it looked perfect. Kevan has a lovely personality and really helped make getting ready for my big day relaxing and joyful. -

Kevan did an amazing job on mine and my bridal party’s makeup. I felt absolutely gorgeous, I wish she could do my makeup everyday! She was super easy to talk to and really feels like a friend, I cannot recommend her enough. -

Kevan is the best!
It was such a pleasure working with Kevan! She is so incredibly talented, yet she is so humble. I connected with her right away and couldn’t wait for my makeup trial! After we discussed my vision of neutral tones, she said she got me. And WOW did she execute to perfection. I felt the most beautiful I’ve ever felt in my entire life. She also did some of my bridesmaids makeup and they were singing her praises all day. I didn’t touch up my makeup once the entire day! She uses high quality, clean & natural products that felt super light weight on my face. Kevan really cares about her clients and has an impeccable sanitation process between each brush and each client. I know there are a lot of makeup artists in the area, but trust me when I say that Kevan is one of a kind. She is a true artist, and will make you feel like a billion bucks on your big day. -

I couldn't recommend Kevan highly enough! As someone who is pretty comfortable with makeup, I wasn't initially sure I wanted to have someone else do my wedding makeup. After one conversation with Kevan at my SIL's recommendation, my mind was changed. Even though I didn't have a concrete idea of the look I wanted, she understood the vibe I was going for immediately. I wanted to feel glamorous, and she did exactly that and more. On the day-of, I felt so beautiful and I never had to worry how my makeup was holding up. My mom, MIL, and bridesmaids all still talk about how much they loved their makeup!
I also really appreciated how organized and on top of everything she was - she didn't mind getting our makeup started early, she made a hair/makeup timeline for the wedding day, and even covered a surprise chest zit on the day-of! (TMI, but seriously it was a life saver!) If you want to feel like the most beautiful version of yourself on your big day, Kevan's your person! -

As someone who doesn't wear a ton of makeup on a regular basis, I was really drawn to Kevan's romantic makeup style. She also knew my photographer's style and was able to adjust my makeup accordingly. On the day of our wedding, I had gotten exactly 0 hours of sleep and looked like a total zombie! Kevan worked her magic and made my tired face look flawless! Also, she kept the energy high and was so much fun even when I was nearly falling asleep--I can't thank her enough!
My mom and bridesmaids still rave about her several months later and many of our wedding guests have asked about our makeup, so her work speaks for itself! -

She is extremely talented in her craft and will go absolutely make sure you look and feel beautiful on your wedding day. I had 2 trials with Kevan. The first trial I didn't bring any pictures of what I liked and told Kevan to do what she thought would look best. I tend to wear grays but we discussed neutral taupe and browns and decided to try that. The application was perfect and look beautiful but after wearing it for the night it just didn't feel like me. I contacted Kevan and told her what I was feeling and she was insistent that I come in for another trial and wanted me to be confident that my makeup would be exactly what I wanted and loved on my wedding day. The second trial we did a more pink palette and I loved it but on my wedding day I just wasn't feeling in a pink mood and we did something totally different and it was perfect! My old, aging skin looked flawless. My eyes looked natural but accentuated and she provides lashes. The day of the wedding she finished the 6 I had scheduled and even fit an extra friend in who decided last minute she wanted makeup after seeing how beautiful the rest of us looked!
Kevan takes great care to use quality products and is obsessed (in a good way!) about clean brushes. I knew my sensitive skin was in good care with her. She gave me a lipstick to reapply throughout the night and a handkerchief and taught me how to cry without ruining my makeup. I felt beautiful the entire wedding - even after sweating and dancing for hours. Kevan is so friendly and easy to talk to, so professional and skilled at makeup, I am so happy I found her and never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. -

Kevan made me feel at ease with my trial and she gave me what I wanted while giving me expert advice on what products would last on my skin the entire day. The day of the wedding she was prompt, professional and best of all so accommodating with me and my bridesmaids! My photos then turned out amazing! I will forever look back at my wedding day loving the way I looked and even more so the way I felt because of having my makeup done by Kevan! -
User2583711 Sent on 04/20/2016Where to start...I'm a germaphobe and Kevan was 100% okay with that. She was so awesome, she had tons of clean brushes so all the girls had their own set. Did that ever make me happy? Yes. I knew I wanted to hire her during our first interview. She understood my concerns I had with my skin, her prices were affordable and she was very easy to talk with. After the trial I was able to tell her what changes I wanted to make and she was totally on board. She wanted me to be happy with her work, that was her top priority. The worst is having your makeup done on your big day and have someone just apply it...Kevan chatted with all of my bridesmaids and she became part of the group while still being 100% professional. She dressed well knowing she would be in my pictures and video. Her work is very natural, each girl looked beautiful and they were an enhanced version of themselves. No Clowns were on site! (as my husband requested). I will definitely come back to her should I ever need to be glamorous in the future.! -

Not only did she do a fantastic job on everyone's makeup for my wedding (everyone looked GORGEOUS), but she was also just fun to be around--she had a great attitude, made great conversation with everyone, and really cared if we were happy with her work. She even offered to drive out to my venue later in the day if I needed a touch-up...but I didn't because my makeup stayed on perfectly all day and night. I will definitely book Kevan again if I ever have a special event where I want to look my best!
