I am so grateful for Coco and her team for doing hair and makeup for myself, my mother, MIL, and bridesmaids! They did an absolutely incredible job making us look glamorous for my NYC wedding! Even though it was a warm and windy summer day, my make-up stayed on perfectly, and my hair looked great all night! It was so fun getting my hair and make-up done and I loved the entire experience.
I am also thankful that she was willing to try my MIL's hair and make-up in advance of the wedding day, in addition to my own bridal trial! She also had a great recommendation for my mother's hair! Coco is great at beauty tips and deciding on hairstyles and make-up looks! Thanks also for the beauty tips that I'll take with me post wedding! Thanks to her recommendations and encouragement, I improved my skin a lot over the 8 or so months between my trial and my wedding. Thank you so much Coco!

Coco is great and efficient! I appreciate how transparent and straightforward Coco was - made it simple to know exactly what to expect. She told me what to prepare for in order to get ready as well as what to keep with me for touch ups throughout the day. I also did a makeup trial with Coco prior to the wedding. If you can afford it/ have time, I would recommend the trial because it takes away some worries on the day of the wedding and also gives you a better idea of what to expect. On the wedding day, Coco and her team were timely, great, and respectful. I loved how much time and care she put into making sure each of the actual flowers stayed in place on my hair. Throughout the day, my makeup and hair stayed in place with minimal touch up. I am glad to have gone with Coco for my wedding day makeup and hair - thank you Coco! -

I want to thank Coco and her team for the amazing job! I was looking for a make-up look that glowed and looked natural. I believe she nailed it! My friend also referred her to me, so that made it even easier for me to choose my MU/H artist. During our trial, she was very informative and gave me tips for skin and hair care leading up to the wedding. She also told me everything I needed to gather for my emergency/touch up kit for the day of the wedding. When choosing my MU/H artist, I wanted someone who was not going to make me wake up at 4 am to get ready because I had a long day ahead of me (ends 12:30am). I told Coco that I had to get ready by 11 am, and she came at 8 am. She and her team (total 3 people) did make up and hair for 9 people in 3 hours. I also inquired about touch ups, but Coco promised that the make up will hold up. It required a little bit of touch up, which was expected and Coco did prepare my bridesmaids for the task! Super efficient and it looked great! I had lots of compliments!! :) Pricing was also reasonable! Highly recommend Coco !

Coco is such a talented hair and makeup artist! I don't wear any makeup normally, so I was so nervous about not looking like myself on my wedding day. Not the case at all - I ended up looking like a better, more radiant version of myself! I also didn't have any bridesmaids, so I'm grateful to Coco for keeping me calm during the hectic morning, giving me advice and reminding me to eat as she did my hair. Thank you for everything, Coco! -

I never wear a lot of makeup & wanted to ensure that I would look natural & feel like myself on my wedding day with just that little "umph" -- I am so glad that I found Coco. She was incredibly knowledgeable with how to deliver the look I was going for & patient with me (as I changed my mind several times to get everything just right). Her team made my Mom & Bridesmaids all look absolutely stunning on our special day. She was incredibly efficient & stuck with the timeline we needed for photography & videography. Thank you for everything, Coco! -

I used coco and her team of 3 (includes herself) for my wedding day and i would do it again plus tell everyone who was planning a wedding to book her ASAP.
Pros:
Speed: she was able to start at 12PM and finish makeup & hair for 12 people total (8 bridesmaid, 2 moms, brides and sister in law) a little before 3PM.
Quality: she is able to work on all types of races (Chinese, Korean, asians with monolids, Indian, and white) and make everyone look equally as beautiful. I didn't have any bridesmaid who were disappointed in their hair or makeup. If anything they all raved about it. In fact, people last minute signed up for makeup/hair after seeing the other bridesmaids looking fantastic.
Evidence: if you still don't believe ask her for pictures of her work. She has a great big portfolio to prove she is good! In fact, she had so much evidence i didn't do a makeup or hair trial.
Cons: none, just book her and have no regrets. -

Coco Tsang was very professional and accommodating to my needs. I requested that she meet us at my hotel in Northern NJ and was told that it may be difficult because she had another bride who booked her that same day for a morning session. I was initially very bummed but she made everything work out. She was able to arrive on time to our hotel and also had everything done 2 hours before my ceremony started. My bridal party had their hair and makeup completed in a timely manner and the results were amazing.
Coco took a lot of time working on my hair and makeup and made sure everything looked perfect and in place. The hair was done in a partial updo (what I requested) and came out beautiful. The hair stayed in place the entire night even with a Hora and constant dancing. I did not even need to touch up on my makeup except for re-apply my lipstick.
I had so many compliments throughput the night about my hair so I knew I needed to leave her a great review so that others can see what amazing work she does. I highly recommend Coco Tsang!!! She made my dream wedding look come true and I love how it looks in my wedding photos. -

She did my hair and makeup, as well as for my bridesmaid, while her assistant did my other bridesmaid and my mom. Both worked with good attention to detail while working in an efficient manner! I felt and looked SO beautiful on both my trial day and wedding day and got lot of compliments! From husband, family, and friends, and even genuine compliments from strangers. And, the hair and makeup also looked so beautiful and natural in our wedding photos!
Coco is amazing and brings out one's natural beauty! I rarely wear makeup and wanted to look natural on my wedding day, so I chose the airbrush makeup and it was light and felt great. She was able to do my hair based on a hairstyle I found online, and also trialed other styles I found, until I picked the best one for me. She gave her personal recommendations on what she felt would look best on me as well so it helped to have a second honest, professional opinion. With her years of experience and online reviews I had full trust and confidence in her, and she did an amazing job as I knew she would, as well as her assistant! They listened to my mom's feedback and concerns for her hair and makeup, and made sure my mom was happy with the end result, which I appreciate. Her pricing and value is excellent compared to the market. She is fun to talk to and made the entire process stress-free (from phone & email communication, scheduling the hair and makeup trial, meetup for wedding day). She also participates in continuing education activities to update her skills which is awesome. Overall, she is the best and I highly recommend her! Thanks Coco, for bringing out the best features in people, I felt and looked so beautiful on my wedding day! :) -

Anthea Sent on 06/20/2015Coco Tsang is brilliant at what she does. She is very efficient with time and completed my bridesmaid's and mom's makeup before the expected completion time. My wedding was this past Sunday on 6/14/15.
I loved how she accentuated my best features without overly caking my face. I only had a few hours of sleep the previous night from the stress and excitement of my upcoming wedding but coco made my eyes look so wide awake and they truly popped in pictures.
The makeup and hair lasted throughout the night with only a few minor touch ups here and there. I felt like the most beautiful bride and everyone complimented me the entire day.
My bridesmaids were extremely pleased with the end results as well. They couldn't believe how well the hair and makeup held up at the end of the night. I've already been asked who did my makeup/hair that day and have passed along her contact info. She is truly the best. -

I'm usually extremely picky when I get my hair and makeup done and I can say she is the only person I trust to do my make up. She has so much experience and is so professional and just does outstanding work. On the day of my wedding, some of my other bridesmaids had another cheaper make up artist come and do their hair and make up and they all ended up having to fix it. They had fake eyelashes coming off of their face, asking Coco if she could put them back on for them. My wedding photographer even told her that she was the best hair and makeup artist he had ever worked with because everyone she did came out beautiful and she worked so efficiently. If Coco lived closer to me, I would definitely have her do my hair and makeup for every event I had!
