    Wedding ! Most amazing day at lombardis on the bay

    My husband Brett and I got married at lombardis on the bay December 14th . It was honestly the most beautiful and amazing day . The food was UNBELIEVABLE, all of our guests are still raving about how great everything was weeks after. The staff was attentive to our every need leading up to and during the wedding . Kevin Stollow the director of sales is the best , he’s so kind and really made us feel at ease during the whole wedding process . He was a pleasure to deal with. The owner Guy Lombardi came in to one of our meetings with Kevin just to make sure all expectations were being met. Lena the maitre D’ was so sweet, anytime during the wedding I needed something she was there . The ambiance in the room was stunning! I really appreciate the whole staff, for everything they did to make our day so special . I can’t say enough good things . WONDERFUL DAY AT LOMBARDI’S ON THE BAY!!!!

    Amazing food, staff, and experience

    I recently had my wedding at Lombardi's on the Bay August 25, 2019 and it was amazing. When my husband and I first walked in we weren't sure if this would be the place, but after speaking with Kevin we knew we were making the right choice. Everything leading up to the day flowed smoothly. Kevin was great to deal with and so helpful. He answered all the questions my husband and I had. He even promised us a beautiful day which Mother Nature delivered. Our day was amazing and our Maitre D Lina was amazing. She was so helpful and attentive. The Bridal Assistant Jennifer was also amazing. She helped me the entire day. The staff was amazing as well, making sure that they were attentive to all of the guests and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We are still getting compliments about the food, the staff and the day. Thank you to everyone involved. I would definitely return for any future parties we throw.

    Phenomenal staff, BEAUTIFUL venue, Incredible food and drinks...

    Phenomenal staff, BEAUTIFUL venue, Incredible food and drinks... Their reputation precedes them. We didn’t have a tasting, because we didn’t need one! The Lombardi restaurants and catering facilities are KNOWN for their generous portions and unmatched cocktail hour. I can’t tell you how many compliments we have received on the venue in terms of food and the water view. The reception room itself was breathtaking - I cried upon entering the room; it was BEAUTIFUL! We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff, Kevin ADD LAST NAME walked us in the dining room 1st, not just to take pictures, but just simply allow us to absorb our moment. Scott was great to work with planning our day. I had Lina as my bridal attendant and she was truly helpful. Kevin, was equally attentive and accommodating. The Lombardi family and staff handled our day with ease, if they were any issues, we didn’t know about them! My husband and I were married Thursday May 16, 2019 at Lombardi’s on the Bay. It was perfect! BOOK THEM!

    ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! Lombardi catering and service is immpeccable! The best experience I ever had and very reasonable! Beautiful setting for a 120-140 person wedding! From start to finish every employee was amazing!

    Lombardis on the Bay was incredible. I am so glad I booked with them. They were so attentive and answered all my questions. Everything was exactly as it should be and I had not a care in the world. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. My guests were so impressed. My cake was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. I was worried about the size of the room. I had 145 people and it was perfect. Location, room, staff, food, it was all 5 star.

    I had to change my entire wedding due to Hurricane Sandy. My original venue was flooded and powerless so one week before my wedding, I had to cold call restaurants and catering halls to see if there was availability. I had eaten at Lombardi's on the Bay before, and know that they have a great reputation so when they said that they had availability, I was able to book it for the Sunday after my original date.

    Sophia was my banquet manager and I can not say enough about her and the staff at Lombardi's. She completely helped me put together a wedding in one week. Everyone had a great time, the food was excellent, and the price for what we had was very good. The maitre'd and waiters were all AMAZING, and helped us recreate the original wedding that we were not able to have.

    The food was amazing thanks to Chef Rob. Service was great for the guests, but my bridal attendant was also a server, so she was nowhere to be found, even after receiving her very generous tip up front to take care of me. I found myself and/or my groom at the bar getting our own water to drink. Other than that, the maître d was amazing, food was great and guests are still raving about the wedding. Unfortunately it rained on our wedding day, so we were unable to use the patio overlooking the water, but by the middle of the cocktail hour, the rain had stopped and the view is amazingly beautiful.

    I recently had a function at this location and I'm so happy I did! One of the people I was dealing with the whole night, Francesca was amazing! From the moment I walked in to the minute I left she was so sweet and she knew what she was talking about. I had a problem with my seating chart and she took care of everything for me that I was able to enjoy the party I planned! The food was amazing, the staff was on point and very nice, i was happy with everything! I will definitely ask for Francesca again that's for sure :)

    Read before you book

    PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK!
    My husband and I had our small intimate wedding reception at this location last Friday 8/11. We met with a woman months prior who I think was let go after we met since she never returned any calls or emails after she received our initial deposit. She was very spacey and had no idea of the rooms or capacity. After leaving numerous emails and messages I was finally in touch with another woman in the catering department. Once we met with her we were brought to a room which wasn’t even offered to us initially for our small party of 35, but we’re then told they have no elevators or ramps for handicapped… that in itself is worrisome for a venue. Keep in mind if they can’t get a small party of 35 right, I would be terrified to know what happens with a large reception. We were told the only room available for the Friday afternoon event was the main dining area but assured our tables and guests would be on the opposite side of the bar where no other guests would be and that the restaurant is usually very slow at that time and day of the week.
    Upon arriving with our guests we had already informed the staff days prior that we would be a little early and asked if our guests would be able to enjoy cocktails at the bar. When we got there the restaurant was packed. Our tables were not yet setup and there were other people in the area of our PAID IN FULL event. I was totally stressed out. They were so unprepared but that was JUST the beginning. Our guests proceeded to the bar with other restaurant goers, which was not supposed to happen. The one request I had of no glasses at the table that says “coors light” on them was completely overlooked and the linens I paid for were oversized napkins laid on the table overlapping each other. I proceeded to take pictures with the wedding party and came back to an even bigger mess. They were telling our guests that food we specifically paid EXTRA for to have on the menu was not available, then argued with me until they looked at the contract to see that we paid extra and they overlooked that as well. There was NO AC ON IN THE ROOM on a HOT august day, which myself, my husband and multiple guests had asked about and were ignored or told to ask our waiter. Keep in mind there was a beautiful room right next to us, EMPTY for our entire event, and from what I learned the entire day and night that had full blasting AC and a more private area. We were never offered that space. The only good thing about the dinner was the amount of food but then it got worse. My mother and I were served our dinner 15 minutes AFTER all of our guests had finished eating and were cleaned up. And to top that off, the manager on duty who was extremely nasty and I just learned was fired after our event, rushed me to “pay the bar tab” since it was 3 minutes over our party time. After ALL that he wanted me to rush to pay another bill. My husband spoke to him of how upset he was about everything and the manager told him to “take it out of the waiters tip” the young waiter was the ONLY one who did his job right and you could tell was trying to make up for managements lack of professionalism. Not his fault. This is management and owners fault. It is now over a week since our event and we have not heard a peep from ownership or new management. This is a complete disgrace and put a very big headache and heartache on our very special day. We will never return and urge you to look somewhere else! WHAT A MESS!

    I am so very disappointed with this venue. A month ago when we went in to pay our final bill, we asked to see the bridal suite. We were told "NO" that a bride was in the suite and we respect our brides privacy. This past weekend when we were in the bridal suite getting dressed and ready, staff, on 2 separate occasions brought in other perspective couples. While we were lining up to be announced in the ball room again staff was showing couples where they would be lining up. While bride and groom were outside taking pictures, staff were showing other couples where they would be having there pictures taken. We had 125 guest at the cocktail hr. they had seating for 40 people. I guess they were assuming the guest would go outside but it was breezy and cool so our guest just walked around for a hr. holding there plates in their hands. The valet never told the guest that the ceremony was 10 steps from their car. The guest had to walk to front of the building, through the lobby, through the ball room and then through the cocktail room before getting to the ceremony. As the MOG I had worked for hrs. getting the seating charts done. On the day of the wedding, I handed staff the charts and no one followed them. I had 3 separate table of guest standing with no seats. I could not go upstairs with the rest of the bridal party as I was trying to find seating for my guest. I felt as though I had to work and stay on top of everything. We were not treated respectfully. The food was amazing but some of the staff could use lessons on etiquette.
