Perfect Experience

Holly was amazing to work with! She did my makeup as the bride plus a bridal party of ten and everyone loved their makeup and looked so beautiful. She is truly a professional in every way. Holly was such a pleasure to work with even when I changed my mind the week before on my eye look she adapted and created a new look exactly like what I was picturing. Holly used quality products and applies them in a skillful way to make everyone shine. I felt gorgeous and confident exactly how a bride wants to feel! The makeup lasted all day and night and did not budge. I am so glad I chose A- List artistry for my bridal makeup.

So grateful for Holly!!

I really can’t say enough good things about working with Holly for Makeup for my wedding. Holly was a true partner not only on the day of my wedding but also in the months and weeks leading up to my wedding. She was always available to help with advice and help, and she completely understood my vision and absolutely nailed my look. I didn’t worry about Makeup at all because I absolutely trusted that she would nail it and she did.

She’s an extremely kind person, and when I was dealing with some scheduling stresses with my other vendors, she was super comforting and accommodating, and she really helped everything go smoothly.

In addition to being a great person and an absolute pleasure to work with, Holly is an absolute professional at what she does. Our group for the morning of my wedding day had many different skin types, including different ages, medical conditions, and skin tones. She worked with each person individually to make sure they looked their best, and also took into account their personal style. For example some people in my party liked a more glamorous look and some like to be more tone down and Holly customized each person look to their preferences. As the bride, I absolutely loved my look and everyone else in the party. It was extremely happy as well.

Not only did everyone look great, but we also were stress-free as she helped us. Keep the schedule going and made sure we were all relaxed.

If you’re looking for a make up artist at your wedding, just trust me and go with Holly if she’s available. I thoroughly interviewed 10+ make up artists in the central New York area and Holly was by far the best and as mentioned, she was an excellent partner leading up to my wedding and on the big day itself.

Amazing makeup artist

Holly and her team did my makeup and 6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers for our September wedding. Holly was professional throughout the entire process. We did a trial and I recommended some changes that I'd like and Holly did an outstanding job on the wedding day. Worth Every Penny

From day 1 of contacting Holly she was responsive, informative, and had a great energy about her. She made the process easy from securing our date, payment, scheduling the makeup preview, and ensuring that we had a timeline in place for everyone to have their makeup done. I was feeling disorganized and stressed about my wedding when I first called Holly. By the grace of God, Holly was available on our date! Holly did not miss a beat.

I had a sizable bridal party to coordinate (5 sisters and 5 friends). She talked me through details I did not know to consider and gently offered her expertise and advice. All my bridesmaids were over the moon about their make up and the day was "drama" free. Holly was ON IT.....in a way that was calm, reassuring and unimposing.

Perfect "enhanced natural" BEAUTY

Holly & team were amazing to work with! I hired them for my wedding in Sept 2021 and really was thrilled with their work. All my bridesmaids got their makeup done and enjoyed having Holly & team glam them up! But we all really wanted to stick to neutral-but-beautiful kind of looks - Holly & team are perfect for that, in fact, it's their specialty!! Holly was super sweet, funny, and easy to connect with during the getting ready time on my wedding day. Both of my sister's used A-List Artistry when they were getting married and I couldn't imagine using anyone else for my own. I loved working with Holly!

Holly is super sweet, professional, and great to work with. I hired her under short notice and she was quickly responsive, willing to fix any errors I made in the plan, and then even sent me the most helpful information for prepping for my wedding. Perfect wedding makeup

A-list is the best

Holly was so warm and helpful from the very beginning of this process. She really spent the time to get to know me, my vision for my wedding, and was so thorough. She gave out documents detailing some getting-ready tips for both ladies and men, as well as a list of some really handy "emergency kit" items to have for getting ready day that were SO useful! The bridal profile that she asks you to fill out is also super detailed and I feel like she left no stone unturned. Planning a wedding is stressful and she really made me feel at ease. The makeup look she gave me for my wedding was INCREDIBLE! I am not a day-to-day makeup wearer and so the whole experience of getting my makeup done was new to me. But she was so patient and kind while I was struggling with watery eyes or when I asked her a million times if my fake eyelashes would stay on lol. She is so amazing and I HIGHLY recommend her!!!!

If you want professional, classy, flawless, feel like a celebrity for a day look no further then Holly! She truly is amazing and talented in her craft of make up. She makes you feel at ease the morning of one of the most special days of your life! She is very responsive on e-mail and phone. She asks for pictures of what you have envisioned for your day and makes your dreams a reality. She uses the best products, does airbrush (my personal favorite) and she individualized my look! I am a hairstylist so I have worked my fair share of weddings with Holly making other people pretty for their big day, so I knew once it came time to pick my makeup artist for my day Holly was the only choice! Above and beyond!

I hired Holly to do my makeup, my mom's makeup, and my 5 bridesmaids. I chose Holly because in her description she wrote "the makeup will enhance and not overpower", which is exactly what I wanted. I've been in other weddings where I feel like a clown with the amount of makeup and knew that wasn't what I wanted. I told Holly that and when I went in for my trial she captured exactly what I wanted based on pictures I found. For the day of the wedding, I told her what I liked from the trial and a couple things I wanted to change and she was very accommodating. My mom and bridesmaids were very pleased with their makeup as well. I titled this "above and beyond" because not only did Holly do our makeup but she e-mail me tips and reminders about everything for the big day. A packing list for our purses, when to get our nails done, etc. It was very helpful! You can't go wrong hiring Holly!

Superb friendly makeup artist!

Holly is my go-to makeup artist in Central New York. She brings a calm, friendly demeanor to the room, no matter how high stress the situation is! She has done my makeup for a boutique fitness photoshoot, my engagement photos, and now my wedding photos. She does an absolutely incredible job of highlighting the natural beauty of each person she is working on and the makeup stays on all day no matter how much you sweat or cry! She stayed with us through the ceremony to do any touch ups necessary (and there were very few). I cannot recommend Holly highly enough - she does a beautiful job!

Holly is amaing

Admittedly, I entered my bridal beauty team search without knowing much about hair and makeup. I am a self-proclaimed tomboy, and have only had a full-face of makeup a few times in my life when I was a bridesmaid in other weddings. Every time I had ever had my makeup done for me, I have left the chair to secretly wipe half of it off. I had previously felt like getting your makeup professionally done meant a face full of heavy makeup, and the result of looking like some weird contoured/instagram influencer-wannabe version of myself

Holly is AH-MAAAZZZING.
I sat with her and confessed all my previous beauty fails in getting my makeup done elsewhere. She listened to my concerns, and we spoke at length about my beauty routine, my desires for my wedding-day look, and even shared inspiration pictures from pinterest. Really, all I was in search of was a beauty look that made me feel like the best, most refined, well-rested, version of myself! And Holly delivered that, and more!
Beyond her incredible talent for the enhanced-natural airbrush makeup look she gave me, she also acted as a wedding-consultant, sharing tips and tricks for things to plan for and pack for the day of. She was the consummate professional, and made myself and my bridesmaids feel like the best versions of ourselves!

Wonderful experience

We are so glad we found Holly! She was able to make us feel our absolute best. I'm glad we did a trial with her as well because I was able to try out some different looks and really hone in on what would be perfect for wedding day. She made our moms and bridesmaid feel spectacular--everyone felt like their best version of themselves! Don't hesitate! AMAZING makeup.

I had a brand photoshoot and was referred to Holly to have my makeup done. This was the first time I ever had my makeup done, so I really did not know what to expect. Also, I rarely wear makeup, so it was difficult to tell what exactly I wanted. I left that part up to Holly, to do what she felt was best for me.

The appointment took almost an hour, and that time flew by. Talking to Holly was easy and fun, and I enjoyed being in her company. I was worried that the makeup would feel heavy, or look caked on up close since there were many layers of products that were being applied to my face.

When I finally got to look, I was so blown away! I couldn't believe the magic she did. It was so natural and I felt completely like myself. She gently enhanced all of my features and didn't overdo a thing.

Once I got the photos back from the shoot, I still couldn't believe how great the makeup looked. We shot both indoors and out, and everything was perfect. I looked like I was glowing, and felt amazing.

Holly is well worth hiring for your makeup needs. You can tell she loves what she does, and has a definite skill.

Holly is an absolutely amazing makeup artist. I booked her for both my engagement photos and wedding day. I was lucky enough to have her do my makeup as a bridesmaid in some friend's weddings. I had such a great experiences, of course I wanted to book her for my wedding as well. She is super professional, quick with communication, and just a sweetheart to chat with. She and her team were able to do makeup for 10 people on the morning of the wedding and were super efficient. Highly recommend her for any event. Amazing Experince

After reading many reviews of various makeup artists, I decided to go with A-list Artistry. I was paired with Holly as my makeup artist for my big day and she was amazing! I did a makeup preview and met her before hand and was extremely impressed with her knowledge of makeup along with her welcoming and kind personality. I loved how she did my makeup trial and had full trust in her for my wedding day! My makeup was just how I had discussed with her and the airbrush she does is so light weight I never sweat it off (our wedding day was very hot and humid!). My entire bridal party was happy and pleased with their makeup as well! Holly offers various add ons like fake lashes and a touch up kit that I added to my contract. She travels to your location and was right on time. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and I would highly recommend her to any bride!!

I didn’t get to experience A-List artistry as a makeup artist - we had to post pone my wedding due to some unforeseen events.

I had a large bridal party, so there was a larger deposit due upon booking Holly. After I informed her of our cancellation, she did what I found rare after our experiences canceling other vendors - she did the best she could to refund us what she could after she rebooked our date. Not only did she keep me updated when she had brides interested in my former date, she was generous and kind throughout the process. Ourbdate was ultimately booked, so we were able to get some of our deposit back based on the size of the other bridal party.

It’s difficult to find a vendor who not only cares about your investments but also with how busy of a business they are, she took the time to keep me updated. I’m blown away by the level of sheer generosity possessed by Holly. People rave about her work. While I didn’t get a chance to experience what undoubtedly would have been an amazing outcome on bridal makeup, I can comment on the level of customer service. It speaks sheer volumes to the kind of person she is and the business she is running. Thank you, Holly.

We hired Holly to do makeup for our wedding which included 6 people with two brides. She guided us through how we could get both bridal parties ready in time without the brides seeing each other. She was incredibly organized, professional, and also fun! She had every last detail covered so everyone could relax on the big day. My experience with A-List artistry was too wonderful for words. I am so thankful that I sought them out to do my on-site makeup. When I first called I talked to Holly on the phone for over half an hour- she was so kind and welcoming and tried so hard to accommodate me (I planned my wedding in less than 6 months so we only had 3 1/2 left at that time!). She paired me up with Jessica and she was such a blessing to me! When I want for my trial she listened to me and recreated exactly what I was hoping for, and she did the same again on my wedding day for myself and 3 of my bridesmaids. She was punctual and professional- but more importantly, she was kind. Jessica was so mellow, patient and encouraging on my wedding day, which I think is something that every girl needs. Her expertise in makeup made me feel beautiful, no doubt- but her down to earth and personal approach to her work is what made my experience so memorable. If i could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Holly made my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and myself look GORGEOUS! She is absolutely amazing and was able to do make up for ten of us. She did make up for both of my sister-in-laws weddings and I fell in love with her work. Holly had me fill out a questionnaire to help make a cohesive look for my whole bridal party that reflected what I wanted for my wedding. She is very friendly and was not pushy towards anything that the girls wanted. She made me look flawless, natural, and knew exactly what looked best for photos. I booked Holly for my engagement picture session and my wedding. She did an absolutely amazing job on both occasions. I am typically on the conservative side when it comes to makeup and Holly used this as a basis to build my wedding day makeup. Holly was amazing to work with!!!! I got their information from a family friend and I couldn't have imagined anything better. Holly was so responsive, gave her honest opinion, kept me up to date on things happening in town on the day of the wedding, and even sent me a sample of some product to try before the wedding to get some moisture in my skin. Holly and Jessica did the makeup for our bridal party of 11 and they were absolutely amazing! Aside from making us all look beautiful they also made the day so fun and kept us smiling. Holly had a great relationship with our hair stylists and our photographer and videographer. A-list artistry is so professional and they think of everything! I met with Jessica Puccia for my wedding trial and she met all my expectations! I had pictures of what I wanted and she matched them perfectly. I also felt comfortable with her professional suggestions and because of those reasons, I hired her to do makeup for my wedding. Holly did the makeup for a wedding I was in several years ago, and I knew then that I would ask her to do my makeup for my wedding. Holly did not disappoint!!!! She created a beautifully elegant and cohesive look for my bridal party, while still allowing each bridesmaid to shine. She also created flawless looks for my mother and mother-in-law. I was absolutely thrilled with my makeup! I tend to wear very little makeup and was not sure if I was articulating clearly what I was thinking about for my makeup look. Holly went through photos with me and explained what she was thinking, and the end result was STUNNING. Not only did everyone look fabulous, but the makeup lasted the ENTIRE night, through very hot and humid outdoor photos, an outdoor ceremony, and hours of dancing. Holly also has an incredibly sweet disposition and was such a relaxing presence to have around during such a stressful morning. I would highly recommend Holly for any and all makeup needs!!

I highly recommend A-List Artistry. Holly and Jessica did makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. I want to start by saying that I've never seen this group of women look more beautiful than after Holly and Jessica finished doing their makeup! They were both completely professional, while still being personable. My hotel suite was smaller than I had expected, but they were flexible and able to make it work without a single complaint. They helped to make the day go so smoothly with their organization prior to and on the day of the wedding. It was just such an amazing part of the day that I will never forget.

Holly was amazing. My sister and I did a preview with her for my wedding. We had some things that we wanted to change and/or modify and Holly was receptive and helpful. On the morning of my wedding she was on-time, professional and ready to go. My Aunt and Mother also had their makeup down. These two had never had professional makeup before and they loved it. Even the fake lashes :-). Holly stayed after the photographer to do touchups and get all of us looking our best. Everyone commented on how natural and beautiful we all looked. Holly recommended beauty products for us to try before the wedding and she has been just as helpful and informative after the wedding. I lucked out and got a last minute appointment with Jessica to do my makeup for my engagement pictures. It was my first time ever getting makeup professionally done, and now I wish I could just move in next door and have her do my makeup daily! She is friendly, easygoing, patient, and extremelyy good at what she does. I told her I wanted something natural since I truly never wear makeup and I didn't want to end up hating my face if it looked too different. She did exactly what I wanted and kept checking in with me throughout the process to make sure I was loving the look. She also handled my crazy dry skin with expertise. My skin normally flakes a lot on my forehead and nose, and with the airbrush I didn't flake at all the entire day. She made me feel so at ease and so beautiful, and now I'm not at all nervous to have my makeup done a few more times for this whole wedding process. I would give 10 stars if I could - thank you Jess!

Holly, owner of A-List Artistry was my make up artist for my engagement photos and wedding day. She is phenomenal and truly a pleasure to work with!! When I told my photographer who I was using, she was thrilled because she said that Holly does (and did for me) a wonderful job where she does not have to touch up skin in photos. My make up looked great through the entire day and my look suited my style very well.

Holly was always very responsive and better yet, provided tips (that you would never think of) and an emergency checklist to get your head around some things you need to remember on your wedding day. She is punctual and stuck to the schedule we put together which helped the day start off on the right foot. Holly is super friendly and easy to get along with and also extremely flexible, as our start time for make up changed the week before and she was willing and able to accommodate. She is very talented and versatile in the looks she can provide, however, she does pay attention to the brides overall desired look for the day and does a great job with creating a cohesive look for the wedding party.

A- List Artistry charges for a trial, but if you plan in advance you can utilize the trial when you get engagement photos taken, as it worked out great for me! At the trial, Holly made several notes and then she does a sketch of the make up on paper to ensure she is prepared and remembers what you discussed (attention to details). She also will offer advise and will not steer you in the wrong direction! A-List Artistry offers a touch up kit which I recommend as I definitely used.

I was very impressed with A-List Artistry, specifically speaking in regards to Holly, and would highly recommend her to anyone! She is someone you will want on your team for your wedding day as she will help you remain calm and put you at ease!

Holly was absolutely fantastic - a calming presence during the wedding morning chaos, and a makeup artist with an eye for perfection. I booked A-List Artistry for bridal party wedding makeup without meeting Holly in-person or having the time to do a trial. But she sent me a ton of resources and questions to ensure she was prepared for the day. Her bridal profile sheet is thorough and thoughtful, so even without a trial, I felt completely confident sitting down with her on the wedding morning. Plus, Holly was professional and efficient - she did makeup on eight women back-to-back, never veering from the schedule we'd set together, and always happy to fix the odd problem throughout the morning. You won't be disappointed!

Holly and Christina did a fabulous job the day of our wedding. We had a total of 11 girls getting makeup done and everyone looked amazing! They are both extremely friendly and very professional.

My makeup looked flawless and lasted the entire night. I'm not exaggerating when I say it lasted until 3AM. Not only was it long lasting, but I looked and felt like myself which was so important to me.

Holly and her team were recommended to me by my trusted hairstylist and they did not disappoint. They arrived exactly when they promised and were set up promptly without any questions or help from myself or my bridal party (as most brides can attest, having people ask you dozens of questions the morning of your wedding can be a little nerve-wracking--their calmness and professionalism really put me at ease.) Holly and Christina proceeded to complete a total of nine applications--myself, six bridesmaids, my mother, and mother-in-law-- beautifully, flawlessly and right on schedule. Being a less-is-more believer when it comes to everyday makeup I was a bit worried that I would look too "made-up." Holly really understood my concern and I could not have been more thrilled with the result of my makeup--I looked like me, just better. My makeup lasted so well throughout our entire wedding day (12+ hours from the time I got made up to when the reception ended) that I never reapplied even a slick of lipstick the whole day. The lashes Holly used are beyond words. They are so feathery and so beautiful, dozens of women at our wedding were dying to know where I got them and how they could get them too. Another incredible thing about Holly and her team is their versatility. While myself and some of my bridesmaids are minimal makeup wearers, I had some people in my party with very glamorous much more daring makeup styles. They were able to deliver a more dramatic look for those people while still fitting in with the overall look of the bridal party and not taking away from my look as the bride. Work aside, their personalities are so geniune and so nice--they truly are so happy to be a part of your day. I felt nothing but positivity from them and am looking for any excuse I can find to hire them again. Can't say enough good things about them!!

Holly did my makeup for my wedding and my engagement photos and I can say that I was truly pleased both times with her work! She is amazingly talented and I looked so beautiful both times she did my makeup! Holly is very personable and easy to talk to. She communicated with me by phone and e-mail and was very prompt with responding to any questions or concerns that I had! One thing I was so impressed with was that she sent me a spread sheet of things to remember for the wedding day! It didn't all have to do with my makeup but it helped me to put together an emergency bag for the big day! I cannot recommend A-List Artistry enough! First, Holly was wonderful to communicate with to get everything set up. My bridal party and I were so fortunate to have Jessica as our artist. Jessica is not only one of the sweetest persons you will ever meet, but her talent is insanely fabulous. Holly, Jessica and Christina were everything I had hoped for and more! Not only are they extremely talented and professional, but they were extremely easy to work with and talk to. I had 8 bridesmaids and several others get ready with me - 15 of us total. We put together a schedule, picked a cohesive look for all of us, and they went to work. Each and every one of us were thrilled with our makeup. I had several bridesmaids that were a little skeptical to do makeup because they don't typically wear much, but their look was so natural and beautiful and they were so happy that they decided to have it done. I also was nervous and scared that my crying and sobbing would ruin my makeup (mascara running, makeup streaking), but nope! Holly assured me that being airbrushed I had nothing to worry about, and she was absolutely right. Amongst our group were my mom, aunt, mother-in-law and stepmother-in-law. They, too, were reluctant to have their makeup done, but Holly and her team did a fabulous job with all of them. It was such a relief as a bride to hear all my bridesmaids - many of them from New York City - rave about how much they loved their makeup. Even at the end of the night we couldn't believe how well everything stayed intact (with very little help from our touch-up kits!). When I was looking for a makeup artistry, I specifically asked for someone that has experience on doing Asian bride makeups because I had some bad experience before and I didn't want to ruin my big day. Then I found Christina. Christina was great. She listened to what kind of look I want, and went from there. She also thought about some possible ways to make me look even better at her own time. I can't really say enough about Holly. She was not only amazing for my wedding weekend, but she inspired and guided me through my wedding planning experience. As an out of town bride looking for a destination wedding in the Finger Lakes (Skaneateles), she immediately began to suggest other vendors. She helped me find my florist (Whistlestop) and accommodations (Old Stone Mill Inn) for my bridal suite which were both beyond my expectations. She was more than flexible traveling to me both days, even fitting in a bridal trial the day before my wedding for the big rehearsal dinner that night. Her work is incredible. She also had no problem using the products I bought beforehand, such as lipstick and brow pencils to help fulfill my vision. I felt gorgeous and most importantly looked like myself, without being overdone or caked over. Holly is extremely professional, patient (she waited as I continued to explain ideas to my videographers, etc ...I was the wedding planner as well), and super polite. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and her attention to detail reflected that. Give her a blank canvas and I promise that she will create a masterpiece!!!

Holly and Christina were such an amazing part of our wedding day. First the ladies are timely and professional but so much fun to be around. They embraced us all getting ready and enhanced the festivities. All of the makeup that was done looked absolutely stunning. I cannot explain enough how flawless all of the girls looked. The colors selected for them all fit the tones of their skin and they looked very natural. As far as my makeup was concerned it was perfect in every way. My skin was glowing and my eye popped (as I wanted them to). The makeup fit the whole look we were going for. The lashes were incredible. One big concern was any disruption in my makeup with tears and nothing happened. I cried and the makeup still looked flawless. I sweat dancing the night away and my makeup didn't budge. Pictures look perfect from the very beginning to the very end. I cannot recommend A-List Artistry enough!

My experience with A-List was AMAZING! From the initial steps, to the actual day-of... it was all awesome. Holly is very responsive and nice, making the process very easy. I had Jessica on the actual day and not only was she great at doing make up for me, my mom & bridesmaids, but she was very personable, laid back, and easy to talk to. I would recommend them over and over again! I just wish I lived in upstate so Jessica could do my make up every day :) My one tip for brides and even bridesmaids: do the airbrush and DEFINITELY do the fake eye lashes. Holly and A-List Artistry did an outstanding job with my make-up for my wedding. Holly is extremely organized, professional and fun. Many people commented on how beautiful my make-up was on my wedding day. Perhaps most importantly, Holly did my make-up at 10:00 AM the morning of my wedding and it still looked exactly the same at 11:00 PM after the reception. You cannot put a price tag on that kind of service. Holly did an amazing job and made it so my makeup was one thing I did not have to worry about on my wedding day. as for the extras, I would definitely recommend the lashes. They were comfortable to wear, stayed on the whole day, and were easy and painless to remove. The touch up kit is definitely worth it; in fact, I still use the lipstick. I would recommend Holly to every bride (or lady that just wants to look good).

I can not say enough about A-List Artistry! Holly was amazing from beginning to end; with her skill, professionalism, with her flexibility & her wonderful easy going personality. For my makeup trial, Holly first did makeup that was the style I was looking for for my wedding but afterward transformed the look to something more sexy for a photoshoot I had later that day. Both looks were just right.
I had a large bridal party and family who were constantly changing their minds about everything & Holly just rolled with it each time, adjusting accordingly, and making it all easy. I think I must have changed the plan 10 times. The makeup was awesome! We had so many people that both Holly & Christina came to our location to do makeup. They were the first to arrive that morning, early, ready to set up & get started right on time. The age ranges in my party/family were from 2 to mid 50's and everything in between. Holly & Christina pleased everyone! This is no easy task, I assure you! Each person was able to have their makeup done in a way that matched their individual personal preferences & each was thrilled with the end result. Additionally, it was fun to have them there. These women are easy to talk to and actually added to the atmosphere…no awkward moments. All our guests were commenting on how beautiful everyone looked. I would enthusiastically recommend A-List Artistry to everyone.

I am not the first (nor will I be the last!) person to write great things about this group of women, but I'm happy to add to the long list of 5-star reviews! I can personally recommend both Holly and Christina, who came down to Hamilton, NY for my wedding and did makeup for myself and 7 other women in my bridal party.

As a bride who marked "0 to 1" on a scale of how much makeup I wear daily, I wanted to make sure that my makeup looked natural. Holly did a perfect job of accomplishing that - I stood out as the bride but still looked like myself.

They were flexible to work with, always very positive (but also realistic about what could be done, which I think is important and appreciated very much), responsible, organized and of course very good at their jobs! A List Artistry was a great fit for me on my wedding day because of all of these reasons, and to boot, they were a ton of fun to have around as we all got ready for the big day.

I am a typical Asian girl with plain facial structure. I thought it is a big challenge for an American makeup artist to do their art on our faces since there is a huge difference between western and eastern makeup styles. Plus, I am another "out-of-twon" bride! I was super worried before I did a trial with Holly. After several email discussions, she quickly got the idea what I want for my wedding and she did an amazing job on my big day. I was so laid back on my wedding day (a little too laid back) that I chose to go last for both hair and makeup and left only about and hour and a half for hairstyle and makeup. Ooooops....I began to freak out inside. Holly and Christina kept me calm and kept reassuring me that I would get done in time and the wedding wouldn't begin without me! Holly did my make up, My mom's, and both my sisters for my wedding. She was great! It was so nice having her come to my mom's house, a total stress free morning. Holly of A-List Artistry was delightful to work with from start to finish. I live in the Washington, DC area and was planning a wedding in Skaneateles, NY. One of my reception vendors recommended A-List Artistry and I contacted Holly as a result. Holly was always available via e-mail and so flexible when we traveled to New York for wedding planning. I did my makeup trial at her home studio and got to know what a caring professional she is. She was warm and friendly and I left looking beautiful. On our wedding day, Holly did all of our bridesmaids as well as our mothers' makeup. She makes your time in the chair fun and relaxed which I appreciated on my big day! There is no question about the skills of these make-up artists, but every other element, which also contributes to your experience on the big day, was fabulous as well.

Holly and her team are amazing at what they do! The make-up for myself, my bridesmaids and the mothers of the bride and groom were PERFECT! Holly paid special attention to ensure that all of the looks worked together while still making sure that everyone was happy. (Especially the moms who had some reservations - after the fact they were so glad that they had their make-up professionally done!)

One of the things that I was most impressed with was that in addition to Holly's knowledge of make-up, she also has a vast knowledge of wedding make-up services. She provided suggestions and made sure that everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. Because of her, we looked amazing and were set to go on time. Not having that extra stress on the wedding day was priceless!!

As an out of town bride, I did not have any knowledge of make-up artists in the Skaneateles / Syracuse-area. My wedding planner recommended Holly after seeing her work on another bride. Jessica was my make-up artist. She has a wonderful bedside manner - she is warm, friendly, and puts even the most hesitant clients at ease. My mother never wears makeup because she hates it and Jessica was able to make my mom feel extremely comfortable and more importantly, my mom was very happy with her makeup. I also didn't want to look too "made-up" for my wedding so Jessica tried two different looks at my make-up trial and was very receptive to my requests and I couldn't have been happier with my trial and my makeup on my wedding day. My makeup remained in place for 12+ hours and the HD close-ups of my wedding photos look amazing - no traces of cakey makeup at all.

I have never felt so amazingly beautiful in my life as I did after Holly from A-List Artistry did my make-up for our wedding on 5 October 2012.
