  Above and Beyond Service

  We live out of state while my wife and her family are from Kentucky so we wanted to have our wedding there. Being out of state we knew having a coordinator would be extra helpful. Finding Kaelyn and the My Wedding Planner team was a lifesaver! We sought Kaelyn's help initially for feasibility, and that experience went so well we knew we wanted to work with her for full coordinating services. About halfway through our planning, my wife's mother was diagnosed with cancer that changed our lives and of course our wedding plans. Kaelyn didn't blink an eye, and went above and beyond to help advise us during an incredibly difficult time and pivoted plans brilliantly. Kaelyn was so supportive during all this, I don't know how we would have gotten through the planning during this incredibly emotional time. Kaelyn and her team helped us achieve a wedding that was perfectly us, with unique requests and tastes. We are so, so grateful to have found Kaelyn and her team. When we said goodbye at the end of our reception, the first thought we had was that we were going to miss our check-ins with Kaelyn because we just enjoyed her so much.

  Best decision we made.

  The staff with Lex Event co/My Wedding Planner was the best wedding planning decision we made. They had answers to all the questions I had throughout the planning process. The day off was remarkably stress free! Everything was done to perfection, and they even made sure we ate. Our main POC, Kaelyn, was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

  Great experience!

  We loved working with Kaelyn and the My Wedding Planner team! We planned our wedding living out-of-state. Kaelyn made the planning process (and especially the day-of) as stress-free as possible. She’s great with communication and easy to work with. She is also so well-connected in the area and did an amazing job of bringing our vision to life!

  Simply the best!

  Kaelyn and her team at My Wedding Planner are the real MVP of all things wedding. I truly cannot fathom what wedding planning would have been like without them! We got married in Lexington but live in Phoenix, so her help was truly indispensable. We could not have made a better decision to use My Wedding Planner!
  
  Kaelyn was suggested to me by a friend who used her. After speaking with two other potential planners, we felt Kaelyn had the experience, savvy and reliability that we needed. Kaelyn does not mince words - she knows her shit and isn’t afraid to be honest. As a person who appreciates clarity, honesty and openness, Kaelyn was a perfect fit for us.
  
  We worked with My Wedding Planner for well over a year during our engagement, and Kaelyn was always available to assist. She kindly listened to all my TikTok-generated ideas, many of which we implemented. She kept our planning timeline on track, visited venues with us, discussed pros and cons and provided options if we didn’t like what was available. Kaelyn is incredibly well connected in the community and never came up short when we needed suggestions. She helped with rehearsal dinner, floral, makeup, hair, video, our hotel block and more!
  
  There truly isn’t enough space to cover all the ways Kaelyn made our wedding wonderful. We used her full service planning, so she presented vendor options, we looked them over and discussed with her, and she did all the arranging of contracts and provided payment reminders. The week of the wedding she picked up decor, retrieved and returned glassware we rented, provided emotional support, talked me off ledges, fixed fallen hair, repaired broken suspenders, adjusted our timeline when it got significantly off course, decorated, directed, handed out vendor tips, managed to keep my husband on task and I’m sure there are tons more things she did that I didn’t even notice! After the wedding she mailed in our marriage license so we had one less thing to worry about. If you want to enjoy your wedding day, you need My Wedding Planner!
  
  When we were first beginning wedding planning and discussing our budget, I thought: Gosh, Kaelyn’s help is a chunk of our budget, I hope it’s worth it. As time went on and the wedding grew closer and finally happened, I thought: We did not pay this woman nearly enough. She is worth her weight in gold.
  
  Thank you Kaelyn, Amber and all the others on the team who helped us along the way. You are all fantastic, professional, fabulous people who have a true passion for what they are doing. Working with you all was a dream. I will recommend you to everyone!

  Don't sleep on Lexington Event Co.

  We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Lexington Event Company. They were thorough (every single detail), kind, helpful and made the process of planning a wedding (during a global pandemic, no less) so much easier than had we taken the task on ourselves. At the last minute we were forced to make adjustments in order to be able to proceed with our day and Kaelyn and her team did it swiftly and without stress to anyone in our party. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to their contribution to what could have been a cancelled event all together - and made it my favorite night of my life where I got to marry my best friend!

  Where to even start?! I never thought I would need a wedding planner. I am an organized person and had many friends who had gotten married who could help me… but I was WRONG!! If you are looking for wedding planner look no further! From the first time we met Kaelyn we knew we had to have her. She knew the venue so well and how to set the day up to make it flow best. She read all contract and caught items that I would have missed, met with us many times as we needed, and we have a blast planning with her! THEN Covid hit and I was even MORE happy to have her. Whether if it was her having a hard conversation with the venue or just keeping me sane, she was always there for us!! Come wedding day her and her team where on it. We were on schedule for the entire day, they set décor up and handled all the venues for us! We had guest asking who she was after because they noticed her professionalism and work ethic, they made the wedding flow perfectly! We can’t thank you enough and I am trying to think of what party I can throw next so we can work together again!! Thank you again Kaelyn and team!!

  Kaelyn and her team are top notch. They are personable, organized, and so very helpful. I cant rave on them enough. Our big day was not stressful at all because we knew we were in very good hands. Investing in a wedding planner was the best thing we did during our wedding planning venture.

  Best Wedding Planners Ever!

  Kaelyn & Abby were amazing! From beginning planning, to the event! Through all the “chaos” they were calm, helpful, funny & organized! My daughters wedding was perfection! Exactly what she wanted! Could never thank LEC enough!

  Highly Recommend!

  Kaelyn and her crew are absolutely outstanding! She made the entire wedding planning process so much easier. We had a TON of obstacles with postponing and venue changes- she was right there for it all! She made the day of set up and take down stress free. Can not recommend them / Kaelyn enough!

  Coordinator

  Kaelyn and her team were nothing short of amazing! Best decision we made in planning this wedding. Due to the pandemic we had challenges and changes and Kaelyn navigated them all for us with grace and optimism. She created a timeline that was a work of art and got everyone to the dance floor which is what we wanted. Her work ethic is second to none. She handled last minute issues I didnt have to worry about. In short as MOB I got to put my phone away and enjoy this once in a lifetime day with my daughter and that is priceless!

  I'm so incredibly thankful for the hard work Laura and Maddy did to make our wedding day so perfect! They thought of every last detail and made the process easy and stress-free. They were extremely professional, and replied almost immediately to any questions or concerns I or my family had. On the day of the event, I didn't have to worry about a thing! I was able to relax and enjoy spending time with my bridal party while they took care of fine details. LexEffect was one of my favorite parts of my big day, and I would highly recommend their services!

We had most of our vendors in place when we started working with LexEffect, but they took us to the finish line with easy, matter-of-fact communication and very little stress. In fact, they repeatedly did much more than we asked (or, frankly, than our contract anticipated), so they offered a tremendous value. We held our wedding at my in-laws' home, which, in and of itself, had the makings of a stressful situation. LexEffect, however, planned and executed every detail so that it felt like we were instead at a full-service wedding venue. Even my in-laws were at ease! Thank you, thank you, LexEffect!

  I have seen several reviews stating that hiring LexEffect was the best money spent toward wedding expenses, and we whole-heartedly agree! Kaelyn and her team supported us during the planning stages and throughout the entire wedding experience. Our original point of contact with LexEffect resigned about five months before the wedding, and Kaelyn took over with a seamless transition. By the time of our first meeting with her, she had totally familiarized herself with all of our details and never gave us a moment of concern. She made great suggestions, researched and rented equipment for our LA band, picked up and delivered food for our wedding party on the day of, set up the entire rehearsal dinner and reception venues per our vision, and saw to every detail. All of our vendors were coordinated through a detailed timeline, and the rentals were returned. Honestly, we didn't need to do a thing except show up and have a lot of fun.   I have seen several reviews stating that hiring LexEffect was the best money spent toward wedding expenses, and we whole-heartedly agree! Kaelyn and her team supported us during the planning stages and throughout the entire wedding experience. Our original point of contact with LexEffect resigned about five months before the wedding, and Kaelyn took over with a seamless transition. By the time of our first meeting with her, she had totally familiarized herself with all of our details and never gave us a moment of concern. She made great suggestions, researched and rented equipment for our LA band, picked up and delivered food for our wedding party on the day of, set up the entire rehearsal dinner and reception venues per our vision, and saw to every detail. All of our vendors were coordinated through a detailed timeline, and the rentals were returned. Honestly, we didn't need to do a thing except show up and have a lot of fun.   Hands-down, the best money we spent was hiring LexEffect for our wedding. Kaelyn and the team were a huge help throughout the entire planning process.   Kaelyn and our entire experience with LexEffect was amazing and easily the best money we spent on our entire wedding process!! She was completely organized and professional throughout the whole planning process and made everything so easy for me and my husband.   Christy made my entire planning process so simple, and was crucial the day before and the day of my wedding. There is no comparison in terms of value, professionalism, and helpfulness. At the end of the entire process, I felt like Christy was a trusted friend, and I would highly recommend her and the rest of Lex Effect to anyone looking for help in coordinating their wedding. It was easily the best expense for my event- I didn't worry about dealing with vendors, linens, setting up the day of the wedding, securing and executing the timeline, or securing staff and waiters. Christy even went above and beyond by going out to get simple syrup and oranges so that I could have an old-fashioned at the reception (those ingredients completely slipped my mind...). She was very organized, professional, and on top of everything I needed to make sure the day ran smoothly. Her services were truly essential to my wedding, and I don't know how I could have done it without her and her team. I honestly feel it was the best money I spent on the whole thing.
