September Wedding at Villa Aurelia
We had a magical wedding day in Rome on September 1st with our planner Elisa! We are so thankful for her help & planning - especially with all the vendors in Rome. Everything was organized, on time and exactly what we wanted! Planning a destination wedding can feel very overwhelming but Elisa kept us calm and collected the whole way & we appreciated all her help! -

October 2025 Wedding
Elisa made our dreams come true. My wedding day was out of a dream!!
Not only was the day beyond what we could have imagined BUT the whole process with Elisa was so incredibly easy. She worked with our budget, was incredibly honest, flexible, and was so so organized. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the entire year and a half we worked with her. She also has an incredible network of staff and vendors - everyone that she introduced us to (from the photographers, florists, caterers) was so talented, attentive, professional, and warm.
She really couldn’t have delivered a better experience for David and I. We can’t recommend her and her team enough!! -

Best decision ever⭐️
When we first met Elisa, I instantly knew she was the one. We were planning a destination wedding, so we had both online and in-person meetings with her. From the very beginning, we looked forward to meeting her every single time. Because of her, planning our wedding became a fun and joyful experience rather than a stressful one.
She made everything so clear and offered us a list of the best vendors that matched our budget. The vendors were so amazing that it was actually hard to choose! When we met each of them, we could see how much they love and respect Elisa — that says a lot, right?
She was always responsive, and we shared so much through our chats. Everyone kept asking me why I wasn’t stressed before the wedding — after all, I was the bride, right? Well, that’s because of Elisa! I was calm because I knew our wedding was in the hands of a true professional who would do everything to make sure it went perfectly.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again — not only did we have the most beautiful and unforgettable wedding, but we also gained Elisa as a lifelong friend. She’s smart, beautiful, hardworking, and incredibly kind.

A magical wedding… 3 years in the making!
When my husband and I started planning our dream Italian wedding in 2022, we couldn’t have imagine the long and winding road it would take to eventually get us down the aisle in Tuscany in 2025. The only reason it was possible was because of Elisa and Eventi Le Rêve.
We started working with Elisa in early 2022, soon after we got engaged. We had a trip to Italy, viewing gorgeous venues and relying on Elisa solely for all translation skills and her expert event planning eye.
As we delved into the process, my husband’s health took a very serious and scary turn. We had to postpone by literally years as he recovered from a liver transplant.
Elisa was compassionate, understanding and flexible. She never pushed or prodded but lovingly checked in with us.
During his recovery period, our grand wedding plans again took an unexpected turn when I got pregnant with our daughter - again, Elisa was the consummate professional, and through the early postpartum days did all of the heavy lifting on our planning.
When our wedding FINALLY arrived in 2025, I’ll admit, I was skeptical coming into the weekend about how everything would turn out given how rocky planning had been for our family, but WOW, Elisa pulled off the most incredible weekend event.
From the food, to the flowers, to the coordination, everything was perfect - so much better than we even dreamed. It was genuinely like a fairytale.
After many difficult years for our family, it was truly the best way to get all our friends and family together to celebrate. I didn’t feel an ounce of stress because Elisa had taken care of every possible worry.

Elisa is truly exceptional at what she does! My husband and I live in the U.S. and needed a wedding planner to help us navigate the logistics—and language barrier—of planning a destination wedding in Rome. From start to finish, Elisa guided us through every step with care and expertise.
Despite the time difference, she made herself available for FaceTime calls, Zoom meetings, and WhatsApp messages, always responding quickly and thoughtfully. She was attentive, patient, and always willing to answer my many questions and address any concerns along the way. Every vendor she recommended was absolutely outstanding.
On the wedding day itself, Elisa handled everything seamlessly. When I arrived at the venue, I was completely blown away—the setup was breathtaking, and our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was and how much fun they had.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Elisa and we can confidently say she was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was honest, professional, and completely transparent — qualities that immediately put us at ease.She has an incredible eye for detail. There were many times during the planning process when I felt overwhelmed or indecisive, and she was always there with thoughtful suggestions and gentle guidance that helped me make decisions with confidence.What stood out most was how trustworthy and reliable she was. We had some challenges with communication from our church, but she handled the situation with grace, always thinking ahead and offering practical backup plans so we never felt stressed or caught off guard.On the big day, she allowed us to fully enjoy the moment without being bombarded with questions or logistics. As soon as we booked our venue in Rome, they recommended several planners of which Le Reve was the clear winner. I could not imagine going through this process without Elisa. She is highly experienced, knowledgeable, and organized…AND she’s an absolute joy to work with. She always made me laugh and feel special throughout the year my husband and I worked with her to plan our dream wedding. Planning a destination wedding can be overwhelming and a little nerve-racking, but Elisa’s responsiveness, passion, and expertise put me completely at ease. She has such an incredible network of vendors and knew exactly which ones would fit our taste.
When we visited Rome 7 months before our wedding to finalize some details, she was super helpful and communicative- even helping my husband get some emergency antibiotics! She was always on time and efficient which we appreciated being very busy folks. On the day of, she orchestrated everything with poise and professionalism. You can tell she is very well respected in the industry. Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more. Elisa is like family to us now and we can’t thank her enough for her outstanding work. Elisa is absolutely amazing!! Our wedding was in Italy in Sept 2023. We live in Ireland but communication with Elisa was always quick and easy. She is incredibly talented, stylish and experienced at her job. Nothing is a problem for her. She has some superb contacts and we trusted her entirely with her recommendations for vendors. It was clear from her relationship with the vendors that she is very well respected in the industry. When it came to the actual day itself, Elisa and her team exceeded our expectations. The Le Reve team were so discrete, we barely knew they were there. Everything ran so smoothly and any problem was sorted quickly and without any fuss. Elisa was SO calm!! We had the most amazing day. Where do I begin about Elisa? She is simply amazing at what she does. I remember the first time we travelled from the UK to meet her and we knew instantly she would be perfect as our wedding planner, as her knowledge of the industry is unparalleled. She patiently showed us around all the locations we wanted and provided all the information we required to decide a venue. We decided with Villa Miani for the wedding and Hotel Locarno for the welcome party. We booked our wedding for June 2021, but due to the travel restrictions postponed it until June 2022. Throughout the 2 years planning we must have visited her at least 5 times and each time was like greeting a friend.
During the planning process we would have regular skype calls and email communications and she gave us lots of advice, she thought about all the details and her expertise saved so much time as we trusted her judgement. She was forthcoming with ideas and suggestions that we had not even considered, and she simply has a superb eye for detail. Every part of her work is to the highest standard. She understood our vision completely and executed it to perfection. The wedding day was FLAWLESS and an absolute dream come true.
We would highly recommend anybody considering planning their wedding in Rome to reach out to Elisa. You will not regret it at all. She is a fantastic wedding planner and a lovely person. Thank you Elisa, we look forward to seeing you again on our next trip to Rome! -

We worked with Elisa and terminated our contract less than 2.5 months before our wedding after months of mounting frustration and broken promises. We had already paid about 75% of the total fee and received almost nothing close to what was outlined in the contract.
Elisa’s lack of organization and follow-through created tremendous stress, confusion, and redundant work. We ended up doing nearly everything ourselves — researching and securing vendors, managing communication, handling contracts, and finalizing logistics — all tasks we were paying her to manage. The few recommendations she did provide were often far outside our stated budget, and the hotel room block she sourced was nearly three times more expensive than the rate we secured independently within days. Our welcome party (which we made happen) we wanted an outdoor space where we could bring our own vendors and we were met with a firm "no, not possible." Well it was possible and it was made to happen without her.
There was no creative guidance, no design support, and no proactive planning. Even straightforward ideas that we later proved feasible were dismissed outright. By the time we cut ties, it was clear Elisa was not capable of handling the critical details leading up to or on our wedding day.
Hiring her turned what should have been a joyful experience into unnecessary chaos. We would strongly caution any couple against trusting Elisa with their wedding — the cost, stress, and lack of delivery simply aren’t worth it.Le Reve's reply:
Dear Harrison and Catherine,
We clearly had very different perceptions of our collaboration. I take my work extremely seriously and leave nothing to chance, for every couple without exception.
However, fortunately few couples consider a wedding planner to be a mere administrative assistant. I always work within agreed timelines and budgets and prefer to be very realistic from the very first days of planning. Sometimes I may say that something is not feasible, but this is often because the proposed idea does not align with the available budget, which should be understood and not criticized. Finding solutions under budget is always possible, but it requires flexibility and a willingness to accept compromises.
Much of what is stated in your review does not reflect what actually occurred; this, I repeat, may stem from a different perception of the work we do.
Budgets were defined and agreed upon in advance; while adjustments are sometimes possible, certain costs, particularly those related to high-quality vendors and services, cannot always be reduced. I would also like to emphasize that most of the vendors confirmed for your wedding came from my initial proposals, demonstrating the care and attention devoted to the work.
I have always acted with transparency and availability. On several occasions, you chose to manage certain aspects independently, which created confusion and required my intervention to ensure everything was properly coordinated.
I would like to underline that the role of a wedding planner is to coordinate, plan, and ensure consistency throughout the event; it does not provide personal or psychological support. Planning a wedding can naturally be stressful, but this does not reflect a lack of competence or commitment.
Regarding the contract, I received the agreed-upon compensation, as signed by both parties, without applying any penalties despite the termination occurring close to the event. I believe there may have been other reasons behind your decision: I requested a meeting to clarify, but you responded only via email. The refusal to meet in person suggests a lack of full transparency, which was later confirmed by the fact that the main objective seemed to be obtaining a refund for an amount entirely disproportionate to the work and effort provided.
I believe it is important to clarify the facts, out of respect for those who work diligently in a challenging industry, so that the full scope of the work performed is properly understood.
