You Will Not Be Disappointed
Alessa did an amazing job with our wedding cake! She was quick and easy to contact. We had no problems trying to set up a cake tasting appointment and the appointment was incredibly helpful. I was not sure about how I wanted my wedding cake to look and Allessa helped me navigate through all my options. Delivery was seamless and the cake tasted amazing! Kathy and Company- The Best Choice!
Allessa was the best vendor decision that I made for my wedding. She's so incredibly easy to work with. She made our wedding cake, grooms cake, and desserts for our dessert table (cannolis, brownies, cupcakes, banana pudding shooters, and mini apple pies). Everything was absolutely delicious. My cake was gorgeous as well! I was able to tell her exactly what I wanted, show a few reference photos, and she was able to make what I envisioned in my head. She even was able to put my dogs on the cake and they looked like themselves! I received the most compliments on my cake than anything else at my wedding. 1000% would recommend Kathy and Company to future brides and am planning on using them again in the future.Kathy and Company's reply:

Amazing all around! Allessa reached out after the wedding just to check in! I got so many compliments on the cake that one of my guest even decided to use them for their wedding. The wedding cake was the grand finale
We had a wonderful experience with Kathy’s Cakes! They were very easy to work with and make plans with. The cake tasting was great. Perfect! 100% Recommend
Allessa and her team work tirelessly to bring your vision forth. My son’s grooms cake turned out beautifully. The cake itself was also fabulous. Sometimes you get a showstopper with dry cake or vice verse but this was the whole package. Love this cooler with custom stickers to showcase his hobbies. Allessa and her team went above and beyond when preparing my son's groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner. He loves Bojangles' honey mustard so I requested for the cake to look like a container. It was spot on! She even went as far as making the "lid" removable, showing what looked like actual honey mustard underneath! Of course - it wasn't! The cake itself was so delicious! Best ever cake!
Kathy and Company featuring Allessa did not disappoint. Since day one, she was so welcoming and really cared about her clients. Our cake tasting was so much fun and a core memory in our wedding planning process. My husband and I had an aviation themed wedding. Therefore, we had an airplane cake. Allessa made our cake so beautifully. It was a replica of our airplane and she added my husband and I in it. She even added our toy poodle. The details were spot on and when I saw our cake for the first time, it made me cry. Not only did we hire Allessa for our wedding cake, but also she made mini cupcakes for the wedding and macaroons for our welcome party. They both were divine! Our guests are still talking about how delicious they were. Allessa provides 10/10 service and produces delicious tasting treats. Couldn’t recommend her more! Kathy and Co was the perfect match for our wedding cake and desserts! Allessa was great at communicating and there was no stress involved. We did a cake tasting and found 2 perfect flavors. We also ordered a bunch of cookies! The cake on our wedding day was perfection, the guests raved about it! The cookies were so good that there were none left for us. We met Alessa at a wedding event and connected with her immediately. She has a great way of doing cake tastings to really pick the flavors that you want. We showed her a 1920s stye cake and asked her to create something similar and she really brought her A game. She had to create it onsite on a Saturday to ensure it did not fall apart and she worked tediously to create the coolest looking cake EVER! Kathy and co ft. Alessa did my wedding cake and it was first of all so stunning. It was exactly what I wanted and envisioned and almost identical to my inspo pic! They let us pick multiple flavors and it was so delicious and fresh! It was everything I ever wanted and although I know it was a difficult cake to make they nailed it 🥰😍pricing was fair for the amount of people we had. Allessa with Kathy and Company is amazing! She is so easy to work with and did such a great job on our wedding cake. She has so many flavors to choose from and all of our guests enjoyed each flavor we chose. The cake was very fresh and moist. I am picky when it comes to cake and hers does not disappoint. Although it was hard to pick a favorite flavor that we chose, the sweet potato chai blew us away and is the perfect taste of fall.
We were out of town during when we needed to make a decision on flavors and she mailed us our tasting box which made it so easy for us. We will definitely be using her again in the future and we couldn’t recommend her enough!Kathy and Company's reply:

Most beautiful wedding cakes!
Allessa with Kathy and Company was amazing to work with! She did both our wedding cake and the groom’s cake for our wedding and they both turned out absolutely perfect. She couldn’t have possibly been more spot on with what I was invisioning for both cakes! And of course they weren’t only beautiful but so delicious! Our wedding cake was vegan while the groom’s cake wasn’t, and nobody could even tell the difference between the two which is almost never the case for vegan desserts! I couldn’t recommend Kathy and Company enough!!Kathy and Company's reply:

Best Cake Ever

Perfection!
One of my favorite things of the entire wedding was the cake. We chose three different flavors, one for each tier, and all were great. When we came in for the tasting there was a board filled with 20-30 cake options. It was far more than any other place that offered tastings. It was very hard to choose since they were all so good. The design I gave wasn’t like anything she had in her portfolio or social media so I was hesitant on how it would end up looking. On the wedding day when I saw the cake- it was spot in. It was exactly like the photos I gave… she knocked it out of the park. She gave us a flawless design with great tasting cake- hard to find both. So many of our guests raved about it as well. She delivered it herself to the venue to set up. She was also very responsive on emails and requests and easy to work with. I can’t recommend her enough. Wedding cake and cupcakes
My daughters wedding cake was so beautiful and delicious. Allessa did a great job and I would highly recommend Kathy and company to anyone. My daughter picked a vegan cake(I have egg and dairy allergies). We also got gluten free cupcakes as we had a few people with celiac in attendance. Everything was moist and delicious! We had guests going back for seconds and thirds. We ran out of cake. If you have any question whether to use Kathy and co don’t hesitate. Absolutely worth it!!Kathy and Company's reply:

Beautiful and Decadent Cakes and Cookies!
Allessa baked a spectacular 5 layered cake and decorative custom cookies for my wedding. Not only are her combinations of flavors decadent, but she is incredibly talented with the cake and cookie designs and decor. She was able to put my vision into reality. Allessa is also extremely organized, which was so helpful for me since I had to relocate for a job while planning our wedding. Extremely Accommodating
Allessa went above and beyond to meet our needs; she was able to offer us any flavor gluten free which was huge! The cake and chocolate chip cookies were the best we've ever had and no one knew everything was gluten free unless they were told. We got endless compliments on the taste and fun flavors of our cake. The whole experience was great. Alessa was very helpful and informative at our first meeting. She was very professional.
Alessa made the groom’s cake for my son’s wedding. She made the cake exactly like I asked. It was moist with a very good flavor. She is also making a doll cake for my grand daughter’s birthday. I can’t wait to see and eat this cake as well.

Blew it out of the water !
Allessa was absolutely amazing! We had so much fun during our cake tasting and were blown away by all the delicious flavors. She helped us make the cake of our dreams (including a hand made replica of our dog on the back of the cake). Allessa did such a beautiful job with our cake and cupcakes, everything tasted and so good and the cupcakes were such a hit with our guests. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted for our cake, I just knew I only wanted two tiers and for it to be minimalistic. Amazing, professional, responsive
Our wedding cake was amazing! I have only been to two weddings where the cake tasted just as good as it looked. One was my sister’s wedding and one was my own - we both used Kathy and Company for our wedding cakes. The cake was designed exactly how I wanted and delicious. I had a vision in mine the moment I knew you I was going to marry Austin. When we found Kathy and Company and had a cake tasting we knew exactly at that moment we were going to use them for our wedding cake and cupcakes!! Our family and friends could not stop talking about our wedding cake and cupcakes the flavors were amazing the look was perfect! I look forward to using Kathy and company for future events in our life. Also some of our guest asked a couple days after the wedding if we had any more cake especially my dad he is a huge cake person and he couldn’t believe the flavor that we chose the salted caramel was absolutely delicious!!! The look of the cake was absolutely perfect and everything I could’ve asked for! Thank you for creating such a beautiful wedding cake and cupcakes display at our wedding. -

Amazing wedding cake!
What an amazing wedding cake! The vision I had for our wedding cake was exactly how it turned out. We are so thankful for Allessa and all of her help in making our cake for our big day. She was wonderful to work with; very responsive in communication and answered all of our questions.
We were very impressed by her aptitude, communication, delivery, and performance with our wedding cake.
We especially were grateful for the in-person cake tasting. Allessa walked us through the entire process, from cake design and size, to cake/icing flavors and combinations. There were a multitude of flavor options, which made it very hard to choose for the ones for our cake. Allessa helped guide us through the best combinations from her experience. Overall, the cake tasting was a great experience that we felt was very personalized after talking with several other vendors at wedding festivals. Allessa added a personal touch that was second to none that allowed us to have the perfect wedding cake.
In addition to our wedding cake, they also made the cake for the bridal shower and the groomsmen cake. We received so many compliments both on flavor and design. Allessa worked with us by email and by text to take our vision from pictures to reality.
We cannot thank Kathy and Company Feat. Allessa for making our day so special. We would choose them 100 times over and recommend to anyone looking for a great wedding cake and service!

Absolutely amazing!
Our cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious!
Allessa had fantastic communication with both me and my coordinator. I didn’t even know the cake had been dropped off at my wedding; that’s how seamless the whole process was! It’s a huge relief not to have to worry about things like that on your wedding day!
The tasting tray you get when you are deciding your flavors is HUGE and it’s got a great variety of cake and icing/filling flavors to try. You can request specific combinations of wanted, or you can let them choose the most popular flavors & samples of cakes they had made that day already. No matter what you choose, you’ll absolutely find something you love. The worst part about the tasting tray was narrowing down to just a few flavors to use on your day!
Our anniversary cake was sealed and boxed separately for us, so we didn’t even have to worry about taking care of that. She even wrote happy anniversary on it for my husband and I. :) we are SO excited to get to eat it next year!
For the price of the cake, I cannot believe how delicious and beautiful it was. There was barely any left over after our wedding (and we ordered more than enough for our guests!), and it wasn’t difficult at all to find people who wanted to take the leftovers home with them.

Where do I begin? From the moment I met Allessa she was kind, listened, and made me feel like I was her only client! She makes you feel so special and really takes the time to explain what her business is all about and how they can work for you for your special event! The cake tasting was so fun, and she was so flexible when we had a scheduling mishap. I had a custom request to add our Golden Retriever (Abby) the side of the cake to surprise my husband, and she just absolutely out did herself! Abby was the "hit" of the wedding, and my husband was so surprised! She also made a beautiful grooms cake for us and it was a perfect Ole Miss surprise for my husband! Best Ever Grooms Cake
Allessa created the PERFECT groom's cake for my wedding. My husband is a huge Clemson and Liverpool fan. I sent her a picture of a soccer ball cake with a scarf, requesting the ball be Liverpool and the scarf be Clemson. She absolutely blew it out of the water. It was EXACTLY what I was imagining in my head, and my husband was over the moon. She also delivered it with no issues the morning of, and all the guests really enjoyed seeing it when they walked in. Allessa created the most amazing wedding cake for our big day! We knew we were in good hands from the moment we had our first meeting + cake tasting with her, and we were not wrong. She executed our vision perfectly and even rolled with all the changes I made up until our day.
Our guests raved all night about how good the three different flavors of our cake were and there wasn't a single slice leftover! I've never been to a wedding where every guest ate a piece of cake + an extra, but Allessa's cake was an exception! It was so good, I'm still daydreaming about it.

Tres Leches as authentic as if Allessa was Mexican herself!
Allessa was amazing! From our cake taste testing, until the final presentation, she was great to work with and made the experience so much fun for choosing our wedding cake! We just wanted a small display cake for the cake cutting ceremony, but she made it so beautiful; it was exactly what we wanted! We served a tres leches cake from the back to our guests and everyone LOVED it! My husband's family is Mexican, therefore we had to serve as traditional of a tres leches as possible and Allessa nailed it! We were so grateful to find her!Kathy and Company's reply:

Best Groom's Cake Ever!
When I picked up the grooms cake from Kathy and Company for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner, I was more than amazed. It was everything I had imagined and more. My son and his bride are both English teachers and I wanted a groom's cake that captured their love of books. The groom's cake featured 3 of my son's favorite books with each book being a different delicious cake. It was worth it all when I saw my son's expression of joy when he saw the cake at the dinner. Allessa helped me with a gorgeous cutting cake and 450 mini cupcakes of four different flavor/ icing combinations and it couldn't have been better. We are trying to save a slice of our cake in the freezer but already broke into it once because it is the most delicious cake OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. We even binge-ate leftover mini cupcakes the morning after the wedding. She helped me with last minute plans, was incredibly easy to reach, and magically took care of everything by bringing the cake/cupcakes to my Greenville venue and setting them up. My cousin used Kathy & Company for her wedding cake a decade ago, and I read the great recent reviews since Allessa joined -- so I knew if we went with Kathy & Company for our wedding cake, we'd have both a beautiful and delicious cake no matter what! I priced a couple of options in the upstate, and the pricing Allessa provided made me feel like I was getting the most for my budget so I scheduled a tasting. My groom couldn't make the cake tasting, so my mom joined and we had a hard time deciding on flavors because they were all SO good! We narrowed it down to a few options for our 4-tier cake and saved a few bites from the sample board for my groom to make the final decision later that day at home. I was so excited about a 4-tier cake, but when we got closer to the wedding and realized COVID would impact our guest list, I called Allessa to sadly amend my order to a smaller cake with fewer tiers. However, Allessa saved the day by providing a 4-tier option with smaller tiers so we could still have all 3 flavors we were so excited to share with our guests + the top tier we're saving for our first anniversary! Allessa delivered in all aspects of our experience -- value, customer service, delicious cake/icing flavors, beautiful design, and of course the literal delivery & setup. We hired Kathy and Company last minute, after we had TWO bakers back out on us... part of this was due to having a wedding during the pandemic. We contacted Allessa, and she provided options to us right away. We were unable to do a tasting with Kathy and Company, but based on previous reviews, we trusted this was a good choice. We are so glad we hired them for our wedding! They made a variety of desserts for our wedding guests, including Southern favorites, such as Sweet Potato and Hummingbird Cakes (so good!). We had a destination wedding in South Carolina, so we thought it would be fun to choose something a little different. Do yourself a favor and order her cookies too! She made us chocolate chip cookies and they were probably the size of my entire palm and were super soft!
