Jenny was a full service planner for a wedding I recently photographed. She was incredibly from start to finish. Her email communication was friendly, quick responses, shared valuable details, and was incredibly thoughtful. Its very evident that she is a true professional and very experienced in her craft. I loved having her in the wedding planning process and wedding day. She allowed me to truly do my job and focus on photographing the day and she managed every detail of everything else. I absolutely adore Jenny and highly recommend her! You won't regret having her bring joy and organization to your day! Jenny is the best!!! -

Kim from JPB Designs was an absolute dream to work with and truly brought our New Year’s Eve wedding to life. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond—answering questions early and even helping with vendor recommendations months before we officially began working together.
When we first met with Kim, all of my stress immediately melted away. She was incredibly organized and thoughtful, paying attention to every last detail. The day-of timeline she created was better than I could have imagined, with built-in flexibility to account for things running behind while still ensuring we had time for all the photos we wanted and that our guests could fully enjoy cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and dancing.
On the wedding day, cocktail hour ran a little longer than expected, but Kim expertly guided our 300 guests into dinner and kept the evening moving so we could spend the rest of the night on the dance floor—our one big request. I can’t recommend Kim enough and feel so grateful we had her by our side on our wedding day. -

The BEST decision you will make for your wedding!
For starters, we absolutely loved working with Moriah (aka the GOAT). Her being there was seriously the best decision we made for our event!
We initially met with Jenny a few months beforehand and realized we didn’t need a full planner and coordinator. As someone with very little understanding of wedding planning, Jenny was incredibly helpful. Our first call lasted well over an hour, and I walked away feeling so much more informed about what actually goes into planning an event. She did an amazing job pairing us with Moriah, who was our day of event coordinator. From the very beginning, Moriah understood exactly what we needed and made us feel prioritized throughout the entire process.
Moriah kept us on track every step of the way. Our meetings weren’t just about logistics, they helped us stay organized and focused on what we needed to do next. Since we were responsible for finding our own vendors, she guided us on what questions to ask and what to look out for. Once vendors were selected, we handed everything over to her, and she took it from there. She made sure vendors stayed organized and most importantly, consistently advocated for us, which we could not appreciate more. She truly embodies what a great planner should be: organized, patient, proactive, and incredibly reassuring.
On the day of the event, she came through for us again and again. When plans shifted, she pivoted quickly and efficiently, making everything feel seamless. One small example, our original photography venue didn’t work out as expected, and she immediately helped us find an alternative so everything stayed on track. We genuinely cannot imagine a better person for this role and are so thankful for everything she did to make our day run smoothly.
I could honestly give a dozen more examples of how helpful and amazing she was, but tldr: if you’re considering JBP (especially Moriah) for your event, take the plunge. You won't regret it!! -

We love Jenny and would highly recommend her for any wedding looking for a planner!
Jenny helped us plan our wedding from the start - she was so much help organizing the venue, church, florals, etc. There were so many small things that I never even knew went into planning a wedding that she took care of for us. My husband and I had some lofty ideas and dreams for our Halloween wedding (a thriller flash mob for one) and she made them all a reality! She was extremely thoughtful, responsive, fought on our behalf, organized and creative. Any couple planning to get married would be lucky to have her on their team! -

Higly recommended coordinator!
I've worked with Jennifer and JPB designs twice, for each of my daughters' weddings, and couldn't have been happier! Jenny is professional, precise, and highly responsive. Jenny was great to work with and was very helpful with general wedding knowledge and what is common/trendy in the wedding industry today. She was great at connecting us with multiple options for vendors and ensuring that our vision was passed along appropriately. She also helped us navigate a change in contact for the decor company and was overall a huge help for the planning process. The day of coordinators that she works with as part of the JPB team were also amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. She is also very friendly and made sure that we never felt like we had a dumb question or were imposing despite some limitations in our availability and being from out of town! -

JPB Design - Kim Loconsole 100% recommended, she made our special day joyful and really special!
We had the pleasure of having Kim Loconsole as our wedding coordinator, and she was absolutely marvelous. From start to finish, Kim was on top of every detail, ensuring nothing was missed. She kept all the vendors in line and handled all the coordination seamlessly, allowing us to enjoy the process without any stress. Kim was our main point of contact with the vendors, making communication smooth and efficient. She was incredibly kind, subtle, and professional—never causing any noise or tension, just pure grace and organization.
On the wedding day, everything went perfectly, with every little detail in place, all thanks to Kim’s meticulous planning. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and were able to fully enjoy every moment of our special day. Hiring JPB design service was one of the best decisions we made, as it truly made our day perfect. Best Chicago Wedding Planner!
As a wedding photographer I get to work alongside a LOT of different wedding planners. They all have their own way of running the show, different timelines and definitely different personalities. Jenny is not only THE most organized person I know, but she makes it all look effortless. She is calm and gentle, and gives her couples a sense assuredness and comfortability. She genuinely loves the work she does and the people she works with, if I walk into a wedding with her as the planner I know I am guaranteed a stress-free (or as close to it as possible) and truly fun day! When things go smoothly and people are happy guess what? The photos are SO MUCH better!! As a wedding vendor reviewing another wedding vendor I can honestly say that I love working with Jenny, she is an incredible professional in our industry and a fabulous human being. Hire her!

An Amazing Experience!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jenny! From the moment we began planning our wedding, she was an invaluable resource as well as a friend. Jenny is not only extremely smart and personable, but her thoughtful guidance made the entire process so much smoother for both of us.

Mother of the Bride
Jenny was an integral and invaluable member of our ‘team’ planning my daughter’s wedding on June 10. Her organization skills, vendor contacts, ability to keep us on task and problem solve any issues that came up were what made this one year planning process and the actual wedding day fun and stress free. She brought lots of wonderful ideas to add to our thoughts for a beautiful back yard wedding that was elegant and magical. Calm, detail-oriented and thoughtful
For many, their wedding day is the most important day of their life (at least, up until that point of their life). You need someone who is going to make sure things go according to plan and have a Plan B, C, and D in mind for when things go awry. I've worked with Jenny for other weddings, and I can speak to her professionalism and poise. She is incredibly calm, which is so, so necessary on your big day. She is thoughtful and considerate. She will bring questions to you that you may not have even thought of yet–a mark of a seasoned pro who is paying attention to the details. If you're unsure, Jenny will present you with a few different options that others have done, and she will help you discover what the best choice for you is. Jenny's detail-oriented nature and calm demeanor make her an incredible planner with a lot to offer couples. I would highly recommend Jenny to any Chicago-area couples looking for a planner. -

My husband and I can’t say enough amazing things about JPB Designs. From the first phone conversation I had with Jenny to the day of the wedding she was absolutely amazing. She helped keep us organized, answered ALL of my questions along the way, and gave vendor recommendations throughout, which many other coordinators I talked to wouldn’t do. She has a wonderful sense of humor, was amazing with our bridal party and little (nervous and high energy) flower girls and helped us and our families feel supported all weekend long. If you are looking for someone who is kind, has a get it done attitude and makes sure you don’t have to look at the clock on your big day - look no further. A MUST HAVE Wedding Planner!
If you are looking for a hardworking, motivated, efficient, and kindhearted wedding planner, then JBP Designs is it! Jenny goes above and beyond in her role. We even threw Jenny some curveballs by wanting a jazz band to dance down the ceremony aisle and give each guest a personalized message on their placecards. She collaborated with the appropriate vendors and was able to get everything set up without any adjustments to our ideas. She is organized and keeps you involved every step of the way. We NEVER had a moment of stress when planning our wedding, since Jenny was always one step ahead of any fires that may come up. Our wedding day went forward without a hiccup. Everyone always says to expect one thing to go wrong at their wedding, but we didn’t! Jenny was on top of all of it, and we still don’t know to this day if there were any issues that happened that day behind the scenes because our day turned out perfectly! We kept to our wedding time schedule and never felt rushed, which is so important when you have 150 guests to maneuver. JPB Designs is a great team and will provide the support, brainstorming space, and realistic planning to make sure you don’t get in over your head. We highly recommend them for your wedding! Excellent and Organized!
o Planning a wedding is already an intimidating task, but planning a wedding in a city you do not live in is even more challenging. Jenny and JPB Designs made the entire process of planning and executing our wedding as seamless as possible. Each vendor suggested was top-notch and Jenny worked hard to get the best value for our vision. Jenny was great with communication, scheduling frequent meetings to ensure we were on schedule. While Jenny had a prior commitment on the actual day of our wedding, a member JPB Designs, Mia, stood in as our day-of coordinator and we could not have been more happy with her attention to detail and support throughout the day. Wedding Events
Jenny was so valuable during the planning of all of the events surrounding our daughter's wedding. She helped us plan a hip cocktail shower the October prior to Megan's April wedding. She kept us all on track and on budget as we prepared for the big day. We never felt rushed or panicked. The weekend began with a beautiful rehearsal dinner and welcome party orchestrated by Jenny. The wedding day was relaxed, calm and fun. Jenny and her team handled every detail with love and kindness. When we walked into the venue I was take aback by the florals and decor. The entire day far exceeded my expectations. The next day Jenny was back at the hotel for a farewell brunch. The entire weekend was stress free and I attribute that to Jenny and her team at JPB Designs and Co. Thank You Jenny. -

Best Decision
Hiring JPB Designs was hands down one of the best decisions that we made when it came to our wedding. We were on the fence about whether or not we would need additional support the day of, and in hindsight, I cannot imagine our day without Brianna. Not only did she ensure the day ran smoothly and troubleshoot quickly and efficiently when things didn't go to plan, but she brought a warmth and energy to our day that was irreplaceable. You couldn’t ask for a more seamless, supportive experience
Jenny was just incredible as both my planner and coordinator. She managed every detail of my Indian wedding which consisted of 3 events across 2 days. Jenny kept me calm, organized, and on track through what could have been an otherwise stressful experience. She also has a fantastic eye for design and helped me make a number of decisions when I was torn between options. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how PATIENT Jenny is - through COVID issues, a zillion seating chart changes and guest list fluctuations - she went with the flow and never flinched. On the day of, Jenny and her staff were magical. I knew I could count on them, and they made the wedding a relaxing and fun experience for my family who would have otherwise been stressed about all the details.

A big thank you to Jenny Bartkus of JBP Designs! Our wedding truly would not have been possible without all of her expertise, support and guidance. Not only is Jenny incredible at her job, she is one of the most caring and empathetic women I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. My Mother, the light of my life and best friend passed away just a few months before our wedding, which turned our world and our wedding plans upside down. Jenny's compassion and care was remarkable. HIGHLY recommend jpb and Erin!
As two very type-A people, my husband and I were nervous about giving up control over of all of the details of our special day. We had absolutely nothing to worry about.
We worked with Erin for our "month of" coordination, but it was so much more than the "month of." She provided us recommendations for vendors, helped us navigate COVID and an unfamiliar industry, was thorough in her follow-up in the months leading up to our wedding. On the day of our wedding, her and her assistant Gabe continually checked in on us and our parents to ensure everything was going smoothly, offering to help out where needed with setting up, making sure we had a drink in our hand at all times, and made sure our plans were executed perfectly down to every small detail. There was so much coordination, organization, and communication going on in the background that we were blissfully unaware of - we were just having a great time celebrating.

A thoughtful, talented and detailed planner
We loved Jenny! She is very detailed in her planning, she kept us on track throughout the months leading up, gave advice where needed, listened to our requests and helped build on our ideas. She also had a very extensive vendor list she could recommend every time we asked and she has strong relationships with them all. She also helped us manage all of the changes during Covid, which was above and beyond what any of us anticipated! Single Best Decision
Social media (esp those pinterest charts) have you believing planning a wedding just a longer checklist of plausibly simple tasks. However, given both our busy work schedules, we decided to spring for a planner to streamline the process. This was November 2019.
With Jenny's help we were nearly done with planning our September 2020 wedding before the pandemic hit. Jenny made each step fun and efficient. I didn't have to research 40 photographers, email them to find out who was available, and then figure out if they were within our budget. Jenny did all that. Then, emailed us 3 excellent photographers within our budget and available on our date. She did the same for every component of our wedding. She made sure we had the best value for every tiny detail/aspect -- whether it was the napkins, dress alterations, florist, transportation, or venue.
Without Jenny's wisdom, foresight, and organizational skills on our side -- we would not have been able to keep many of our vendors and get married in May 2021, despite our venue dropping us 2 months before the actual event as well as a host of other small disasters -- par for the course for most large events.
Having an excellent wedding planner was the single best decision we made for our wedding. I am a Costco-shopper, and I love a good sale. But, what you don't know is a good wedding planner knows ALL the sales and inside tricks. They have every detail covered, and are 2 steps ahead. They are worth every penny.
Jenny exceeded all expectations. Our wedding was perfect, and very much stress free. I even took a specialty board exam 2 weeks before the date!
Our wedding simply would not have been possible without Jenny. She deserves all the stars. -

Amazing wedding planner
enny was so supportive from the very start. We had our wedding during covid and she was extremely flexible and reasonable throughout the entire process. She is with you every step of the way and extremely organized. On the actual wedding day, I don’t know what I would have done without her! Excellent Day-of Coordinator
Jenny was recommended to us by our wedding venue, and we couldn't be happier with the choice we made in having her as our day-of coordinator. We live in Los Angeles, so planning our Chicago wedding from afar felt daunting at times, but Jenny was always there to take the guesswork out of the planning. She made amazing recommendations for our florist and hair/makeup artists, gave helpful suggestions early in the process, and was always there to promptly answer any questions that we had. A wonderful day with help from Pua and Elizabeth!
My son and daughter in law found JPB Designs for their "day of" coordinator, and I'm so glad that they did. As the mother of the groom, I was working on transportation to the venues, and Pua was so responsive and helpful with coordinating the timetable. Hiring Brianna Wayne of JPB Designs was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. If anything didn't go as planned, we are unaware of it because her attention to detail was incredible! Wedding planning can be very stressful and every time we met with Brianna we walked away confident and at ease with the progress we were making. Brianna was in contact with all of our vendors in the weeks leading up to the big day and took a lot off of our plate. She attended vendor meetings with us, asked the right questions, and was extremely helpful in making sure vendors were coordinated with each other on the big day. While we weren't anticipating having any problems, we felt confident that if something arose Brianna was properly equipped to handle anything and everything. We had snow and nasty weather on our wedding day but that was a non-issue because we already had contingency plans in place thanks to Brianna. She is unique in being personable and bubbly but can be firm and direct when necessary. We would recommend Brianna to anybody. Our parents and bridal party were also impressed with her professionalism and organization. Choosing a wedding planner is a big decision because of how involved they are and we made the best decision choosing Brianna and JPB designs. -

Where to even begin...Jenny is an angel here on earth and without a doubt the woman you want in your corner for the big day! She guided us every step of the way and was ray of sunshine on the big day! Thank you feels like the understatement of the century. JPB Designs Saves the Day!
Hiring Jenny Bartkus as our day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. During the planning phase, Jenny was a great resource—always responsive, answered any questions we had, and provided some amazing vendor recommendations. Jenny is incredibly organized and detailed and helped us identify any gaps as the day got closer, including many things we had never even considered.
Jenny also went above and beyond to help save our wedding day after we found out, only 6 weeks prior to the day, that our venue had been sold and was no longer available to host our reception. Jenny was actually the one who found this out from her contacts in the industry and let us know—we hadn’t even been contacted by the owners! Within about 72 hours, she had compiled a list of potential venues for us to check out. She had contacted them all and gotten details regarding availability, capacity, costs, catering requirements, and if they could work with our other vendors. We ended up having some great options and did not have to change any existing contracts.
The wedding day went as smooth as possible. Jenny made sure that we, and our families, did not have to worry about any details the entire day. She was even standing by with some club soda when red wine spilled on my dress during the dance party. :) We loved working with Jenny and would highly recommend her to any others planning their wedding!

Amazing, best decision we made hiring Jenny!
We recently had the pleasure of working with Jenny and her assistant Courtney for our wedding on 10/13 at Gallery 1028.
We did not use the full service, just booked Jenny as our day of coordinator, but she was so much more than that! Her services went high above just being a day of coordinator, and she really helped me for the six ish or so months leading up to our wedding. Contact with Jenny was so prompt and her communication is clear and to the point. Jenny is extremely knowledgable, organized, and calm. Her energy felt like things were getting done, but laid back at the same time.
Also, she knows so many little tips. For example, she had the seamstress sew an extra hook into the back of my dress just in case the first one didn't hold. THANK GOD she did, because the first hook tore during pictures, but thankfully for Jenny and her insight there was no issues.
Our wedding day had no stress around it thanks to Jenny and Courtney. Any potential problem that arose they were on top of it immediately. We along with our family were so happy to have Jenny and Courtney there to help guide us through the day and make everything seamless.
My husband and I agree that hiring Jenny was the best decision we made, and we feel it made all the difference throughout the process and on our wedding day! -

We love Jenny! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jenny for about a year and a half before our wedding. She was absolutely amazing! Jenny and her team are an absolute dream come true, and if you work with them you will NOT regret it! I received a recommendation to reach out to Jenny, and I sent a request for information. She was very quick to get back to me, answered all of my questions, and I immediately felt at ease with her. She is detail oriented, fun-loving, and so gracious! We had A-LOT of decor day of, and Jenny and team took care of EVERYTHING! I didn’t worry for a second, and when I walked in, I started tearing up - it was so amazing! About 2 mins before I walked down the aisle outside on a perfectly sunny day with not a whisper of rain, it stated pouring, but of course, my girl Jenny pulled out an umbrella and saved the day. Not sure where to even start to describe our experience with Jenny! When my husband and I got engaged, the last thing on my list was a day-of coordinator. Being in the event-planning industry, I went into wedding planning with a "I got this" attitude. Being a type-A personality, I was prepared to plan and execute the entire day. About 6 months before our wedding, I started to realize we were going to need some help! I was referred to Jenny and we clicked right away. I can honestly say that jpb designs was the best choice we made for our wedding. Jenny is so helpful, responsive, and cool and calm when no one else is. We planned our wedding within 6 months of getting engaged, and called Jenny with about 2 months left. She took everything over and did an amazing job communicating with all of my vendors. My venue, though wonderful, had some communication issues between departments and myself. Jenny took the reigns and made sure we got exactly what we expected.
The night before my wedding, everything fell to pieces. Jenny communicated with our florist to have three new bouquets made, somehow fixed the timing to allow three additional make-up and one addition hair appointment, and did it all with me barely knowing.

Jenny was an absolute godsend and hands down, the best decision I made during my wedding planning process. My husband and I both agree that hiring Jenny was the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process.
There is something very special about knowing that no matter what, someone is there to make sure that your day goes smoothly. She was literally like having an insurance plan to make sure that all other vendors were where they needed to be and when. Not once during the entire day did I need to check the time, or go searching for a bridesmaid or groomsmen for anything.
Our day was, without a doubt, perfect and I know that most of that is because of Jenny. From the moment we started talking about my contracts, vendors, etc Jenny provided me with checklists, timelines, pretty much anything you can think of and more. She reminded me of things I didn't even realize I needed to think about.
We ended up working with a venue coordinator who dropped the ball a few times, and Jenny was there to pick up the pieces and smooth things over every single time.
At the church on the day of the wedding, I realized I had left my bag (with cash tips for vendors) in my hotel room. I mentioned to Jenny that I had left it behind and she somehow snuck out to retrieve it from my room. Because she did such an amazing job of getting everything in check, I didn't even notice when she snuck out!
Long story short, Jenny is remarkable! I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding! You can tell that this is not only her profession, but also her passion - her work is priceless. No matter how organized you are (I consider myself a very organized person) there are things that come up and knowing that someone like Jenny is there to help is a wonderful feeling. -

I cannot say enough great things about Vanessa and JPB designs. JPB designs was recommended through our venue, the American Visionary Arts Museum, and Vanessa was fantastic!! She was familiar with the venue and staff there and had numerous ideas and suggestions throughout the wedding process to help with our vision for our wedding day. Vanessa was quick to respond to my numerous emails, and was very flexible and patient with my last minute changes. Vanessa was a HUGE help on our wedding day and helped to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Our wedding day truly would not have been the same without her and we are so grateful that she was there to help us. We highly recommend JPB designs!!! -

I was very happy with Vanessa from JPB Designs! There's a lot of logistics involved in planning a wedding, and Vanessa helped keep me organized so that I didn't miss anything. On the day of my wedding, I was able to enjoy every minute, because I didn't have to worry about the timeline. Vanessa worried for me :) -

Vanessa was absolutely wonderful in every way! Her attention at our walk-through, coordination at the rehearsal and her ease at identifying and "fixing" any small issue/detail that came up during the wedding was incredible. She even came to the house to pick up cases of glassware that were guest gifts. I wish I had had her for our older daughter's wedding!! Her candy and popcorn bar was a big hit, too. -

I cannot say enough great things about Jenny and JPB Designs! Our wedding was perfect. I mean PERFECT. My one big fear was that I would be worried and stressed and wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy the day. And Jenny took that all away. We had the BEST time and were able to eat, drink, and enjoy time with our friends and family. Every time I had a thought like - "oh, is it time to cut the cake?" or "did the centerpieces I DIYd get set out properly?" or "who's turn is it to toast now?" - Jenny was right there already taking care of it. If there were any issues or hiccups on our wedding day, no one (including myself and my husband) had even the slightest clue. Everything ran so smoothly and like clockwork and we owe so much of that to JPB Designs. -

As a wedding planner, myself, I knew the importance of having a month of coordinator for our wedding day - it is essential if you want to just relax and fully enjoy your day. This is exactly what we were able to do because of Jenny. She's incredibly professional, detail oriented and, most importantly, calm, cool and collected.
Jenny stepped in a little over a month out from the wedding and I immediately felt more relaxed about the wedding. On the wedding day, I had to worry about absolutely nothing -- Jenny made sure that everything went exactly as planned. We had a few moving parts and she handled them all with ease. We can't thank her enough for what she did for us! -

Jenny, by far, was the most valuable piece of our wedding, and such a blessing to work with! I spent the first nine months of my wedding speaking to various month of coordinators – and none of them felt like the right addition. Two of my vendors mentioned Jenny’s name when I told them I needed someone who was a powerhouse coordinator, but also calm, practical, and had a great perspective on the TRUE meaning of a wedding. Jenny was exactly that. The moment we asked Jenny to be our month of coordinator she had everything under control and was three steps ahead. I was the type of bride to be that felt like I didn’t need a month or day of coordinator because I wasn’t too uptight about the day going perfectly (I just wanted everyone to have a great time), but Jenny made the entire wedding day come together flawlessly. I can’t believe how many little last minute unexpected items came up that Jenny tackled immediately – and majority of them I never even knew about until after the wedding! My parents, in-laws, husband and bridal party ALL separately mentioned to me how great Jenny was at the wedding. She is so sweet, takes control and gets stuff done – a bride to be and mother of the bride dream come true! I miss the excitement of wedding planning, but definitely miss working with Jenny! -

We hired Jenny as a day-of planner + some part-time planning up front. Her price compared to others was reasonable and she provided great service overall. We are very happy we worked with Jenny - she helped to keep us on track as far as planning and provided great ideas and coordination with vendors. If you are considering a day of coordinator, Jenny is your girl! If you aren't considering a day of coordinator- you'd better reconsider! Jenny was so detail oriented and helped us plan through logistics of our entire day from start to finish. She always responded quickly to emails and took into account my husband and my ideas and thoughts. We both were at such ease throughout our day because we knew Jenny had everything covered and was helping carry out all the moving parts of our day. Jenny did such a great job making sure the day ran smoothly (and allowing my husband, our parents, and myself to enjoy our day stress free!) that my Father-in-law hired her on the spot for my Sister-in-law's wedding in August!!! I can't say enough about Jenny and her services!! -

The best money that we spent for our wedding was hiring JPB Designs for our "month of" coordination. In the beginning, I spoke with Jenny who was extremely responsive and extremely helpful. Vanessa represents her business in the Baltimore area and as soon as I met Vanessa, I knew we had to hire her. She exudes calm (which is exactly what I need) while giving you no doubt that she will handle business on your day! Throughout my planning process Jenny and Vanessa helped me with vendor recommendations and advice. During the last 6-8 weeks Vanessa organized our vendor contracts, contacted them all and got our timeline situated and our floor plan finalized. At the rehearsal she got everyone organized and collected all of our decorations. On the day of my wedding, if anything went wrong I definitely didn't know about it. Everything ran like a well-oiled machine, my designs were executed perfectly and from my perspective and as a bride knowing that Vanessa was in control allowed me to let go and truly enjoy myself. Our wedding day exceeded both my expectations and my husband's expectations by a mile and I am CONVINCED that we couldn't have done it without Vanessa! I would have zero hesitation about hiring JPB Designs! -

I am SO glad we were lucky enough to book Jenny for day-of coordination for our wedding on 9/12/2015! We decided to look for a day-of coordinator late in the game when we started thinking that it might be hard to pull everything together on the day of while still actually enjoying getting married (lol). I found Jenny through a recommendation of another vendor and she was tremendously helpful from the instant we first made contact - even before we hired her! We met in person at my venue a few weeks before the wedding and talked through everything. She gave me lots of ideas and tips on how to pull everything together in that last bit of crunch time. I gave her all my vendor contact info and she checked in with all of them before the wedding to make sure everything was on point. She even came to our rehearsal to meet everyone and get all the last details figured out. At the rehearsal, we transferred all the ceremony items to Jenny's car so she could set them up the next day. It was so nice not to have to drag them to the venue on the day of!
But the very best part was the wedding day. From start to finish, I knew with Jenny there that I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I felt relaxed and totally stress-free the whole day since I knew she was taking care of all the little things. She made all my meticulous plans come to life - It was such a great feeling!
I highly, highly recommend Jenny for day-of coordination - she was a delight and made my wedding day so happy and stress-free! Totally worth it! -

As the mother of the bride, I can honestly say that my daughter's wedding would not have been flawless without the help of JPB Designs. Jenny went above and beyond to be there, driving in from Chicago to Baltimore the night before the wedding when she was unable to fly out due to groundings in Chicago. My son in law was skeptical about the need to hire a wedding planner because he thought the caterer would take care of most of the details--he agreed after the wedding that we couldn't have done it without her! Her coordination was absolutely necessary at the church as well as the reception. On the wedding day, I had nothing to worry about because Jenny was there and I could sit back, relax and enjoy the day. I would highly recommend JPB Designs for your wedding planning needs. Jenny and the team at JPB Designs were fantastic to work with. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, just do it. More importantly, do it with JPB Designs!
Every detail of our wedding day was accounted for prior to the wedding day. From vendor selection to managing the timeline of the big day, Jenny and her team were on top of every detail.
"Above and beyond" is an understatement when it comes to the service that JPB Designs provides. Without a doubt, it was the best investment we made in our wedding to ensure everything flowed smoothly and my wife and I were able to enjoy every moment without having us trying to coordinate everything on our own.
I don't plan on getting married again, so I'm not in a position to hire Jenny and her team again. However, I'd be happy to recommend the JPB team to any engaged couple who are serious about making their wedding an incredible day to enjoy without the stress of planning and accounting for every detail.

Jenny was amazingly helpful in planning the details of our wedding and coordinating both the rehearsal and wedding. She made sure all vendors and details were organized and well planned for leading up to the big day, and spent hours communicating with us leading up to the event. I felt so relaxed on the day of the wedding because I knew with her there I did not have to keep track of what should be happening at a certain time or where I needed to be. When something was supposed to be happening she gave us a warning before we were needed so that we had time to transition. She even had our plates on our table for dinner before the buffet service began. Jenny was always one step ahead of us and kept the evening running flawlessly.
The day of the wedding, Jenny and her assistant Meredith set up all of the decorations that we had brought, including drapery and many personalized details. She knew where things belonged and at the end of the night was there to clean everything up and pack fragile items carefully.
Not only did she do her job amazingly well, but she is very enjoyable to be around. She never made me feel rushed or concerned about any of the details. She was always extremely polite and accommodating. Jenny went above and beyond her job description and I have nothing but great things to say about her services! -

I fell in love with Jenny the day I met her. She was full of amazing ideas and she immediately put me at ease about my wedding. She stayed in contact with me and my vendors up until the day of the wedding. When the big day finally arrived I honestly did not have one single worry about ANYTHING because she had it all covered. We used Jenny as our day-of coordinator and she was wonderful! Our wedding was at the Howard County Conservancy which is beautiful but is really an educational center rather than a wedding venue so not all of their policies are conducive to weddings. We couldn't bring anything early or leave anything late, for example. Jenny was great with all of this - she and her assistant set up everything exactly as I described and packed it all up for us very efficiently at the end of the night. And we brought a LOT of stuff! She worked seamlessly with all of the other vendors and the whole day was really perfect. I can't even begin to think how busy and crazy the day would have been for myself and my family if we had not hired Jenny. All I had to focus on was saying my vows and having a blast.
Even before the wedding day, Jenny was extremely responsive and helpful with all of my email questions and concerns. She helped us find some wonderful photographers and did a great job keeping us organized at the rehearsal. She is very personable, a great resource, and extremely organized! -

Jenny and Karla of Jpb designs were a breath of fresh air to work with. I hired them late in the game as a day of event planner and they quickly came up to speed on every last detail we had planned and helped us to figure out those decisions that we hadn't yet made or had forgotten about. They took care of running the rehearsal, decorating the day of, and ensuring that the wedding day ran smoothly. They adapted the schedule as needed as some things took longer than planned and also to make sure that guests were having a great time; for instance, to minimize breaking up the dance floor rhythm, they suggested moving the cake cutting up to after the father/daughter and mother/son dances, which worked wonderfully. They ensured that we had everything we needed throughout the evening and helped us to execute a perfect wedding day:) I'm not sure what I would have done without them! -

Jenny of JPB Designs was my "day of" wedding coordinator at my September wedding at the American Visionary Art Museum! Since I chose a less conventional venue, I knew I would need help with the rehearsal, day of set up, etc. She was absolutely amazing and exceeded all of my expectations. She was so organized and contacted all of my vendors prior to the wedding date. Everyone knew exactly where to go and what to do on the day of. Even my vendors told me how organized my coordinator was! Jenny also organized and conducted my wedding rehearsal. I was so nervous about the flow of the ceremony, where to stand, when to walk, etc....Jenny took care of everything! Everything ran smoothly! On the day of the wedding, I was in contact with Jenny all morning leading up to the ceremony/reception. She was already at my venue setting up, decorating tables, and most importantly, letting my guests know where to go! I was able to relax and enjoy my morning because I knew Jenny was taking care of everything! She made sure my fiance and I didn't catch a glimpse of one another before the ceremony. Jenny stayed at my venue during the entire duration of the day. She even stayed to help clean up at the end. I love, love, loved working with Jenny Bartkus. She was worth every penny! -

Jenny did so much setting up on the day of our wedding. She cut the flowers that went in the centerpieces, numbered the table number tags, set up our chalkboard seating chart, handed out the flowers and attached the boutonnieres, made sure everything arrived on time, bustled my dress! etc. She kept us on schedule and even though everything was fairly laid-back we still had pie-cutting and speeches, things we needed to do. I would have been worrying about all that if we didn't have her to keep track of everything. Also she was always super responsive. When our DJ cancelled on us a week before the wedding, she had suggestions and gave us options of DJs that were available. We ended up going with a friend's recommendation, but it was really nice that she was immediately ready to help. Also when I talked to my mom after the wedding, she was raving about how awesome Jenny was! The other thing is our rehersal would have been such a chaotic mess if Jenny wasn't there to tell everyone where to go and when! She's instructive without being bossy. She's just a really big help is what it is! -

Its a shame weddingwire won't allow me to give Jenny 10 stars because that's what she deserves! I hired Jenny because I just wanted someone to keep my all-over-the-place family in line and make sure they were all at the right place for the ceremony at the right time. That's all you need- right? WRONG! There are so many parts to a wedding (and we are pretty laid back people) that you have no idea until you go through this process. This woman is AMAZING!!! How she keeps everything so together I will never know. Jenny met with us for hours before the big day and went above and beyond the contract details. I had many separate components and handmade items for the wedding and she made it so everything had its place and everything was absolutley perfect. Our processional song was three parts long and sure enough if she didn't have the timing down so perfectly that I was at the alter at just the right part of the song. Her meticulous attention to detail and organization is incredible. I've seen many a wedding planner at weddings all wound up and crazy but not Jenny. Her sweet but get-it-done personality and professionalism was the perfect fit for us. Along with the event planner at LondonTown and Gardens and our photographer (hickokphotography.com), Jenny was the reason our wedding was absolutely perfect! Hiring Jenny was the best decision I made for my wedding and I honestly believe I wouldn't be married at this point if it wasn't for her.
My fiance and I decided three weeks before our wedding day that a day-of coordinator might be a good investment. We had already secured the majority of our vendors but were having a difficult time getting cohesion from everything. We had a vision of what we wanted our wedding to be like but we didn't know how to execute it. Add to that being swamped at work and I was stressed beyond belief and ready to elope. I have never been in a wedding before, never been a bridesmaid, never even been a flower girl when I was younger so we decided having a professional around would be in our best interests.
In three short weeks, Jenny was able to tie up all the loose ends, contact vendors, give ideas when necessary, expand on my own ideas, and make a master schedule accommodating everything we wanted to do into the ebb and flow of a traditional wedding. I was worried the ultimate wedding vision (traditional elements in a non-traditional setting) wouldn't work, or worse, be criticized, but Jenny made me feel comfortable from day one. She understood immediately what my fiance and I were going for and made us feel as though we were the only couple she was working with.
On the wedding day, from when the best man went MIA right before his toast, to when the photographer kept us well over schedule taking family portraits at the church, Jenny was able to rearrange the itinerary on the fly to keep everything I wanted to do included (cake cutting, bouquet toss, grand exit, etc). I never had to watch the clock or round up bridal party members myself. Without Jenny, I would probably still be wandering around the reception site without any idea of what to do next. Her assistant, Meredith, was equally as helpful.
It was so wonderful to not have to worry about all the little details on my wedding day and just focus on having fun. Without Jenny, that would not be possible. I would recommend her a million times out of a million. I really liked how she specializes in day-of coordination, as opposed to planning. Future brides, to keep yourself stress-free on your big day, hire Jenny!! -

Jenny was an awesome wedding planner. We worked really well together throughout the whole process, I had her help me with picking vendors and extended planning, in addition to day of.
Having Jenny as the day of coordinator was exactly what I needed. Nothing is perfect obviously, but she was always right on top of it. Her team set-up all my decor and DIY projects exactly how I wanted, kept everything on time, never got in the way, but I knew she would be right there if I needed anything. We even got a compliment from the venue that we were one of the rare weddings to leave nothing behind, everything was packed and cleaned up as it should be. -

I can't fully express to you just how grateful we are for Jenny and her team at jpb designs. They made sure that our wedding was absolutely perfect, and it was so comforting to have someone making sure nothing went wrong. I was so stress-free the week before and the day of the wedding. Jenny helped us confirm with vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and also built out a detailed schedule so everyone would know where to be and what to do the day of. She and her team did an amazing job coordinating the set up of our ceremony and reception (in two locations 40 minutes away from each other, and working with several different vendors), and made sure that everything and everyone was where they needed to be. Every single thing that we had planned went exactly as we had planned it. And considering that NEVER happens to me (something ALWAYS goes wrong), it was an amazing experience!
I would absolutely recommend jpb designs to anyone looking for a coordinator. The peace of mind that everything will be perfect is worth the cost alone, and I honestly don't think we would have been able to pull off our wedding if we weren't working with jpb designs. -

Jenny and her team were excellent! They were incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. This was all the more impressive as they were only doing day-of services for us. I loved that they made themselves available for my entire wedding weekend. Having Jenny and Karla at my rehearsal made all the difference when it came to execution of the wedding. Next to photography, this was by far the best money we spent on our wedding. I highly recommend JPB Designs. -

Having Jenny and her assistant work with my daughter and me was the best decision we made! My daughter wanted a wedding in Baltimore, but she lives in northern VA. Jenny was so knowledgeable with our venue choice and local caterers/lighting/bakeries, etc.; that the planning process was a breeze. I am a professional 'manager' so working with me can be a challenge; however, Jenny could not have been more professional and patient. After our first meeting, the impression Jenny left was that of a true friend. In addition to being 'uber' organized, she was extremely creative and suggested original ceremony and reception ideas. It is very important for a wedding planner to be able to guide the bride and mother through the process and not be afraid to make constructive suggestions or changes to ideas that may or may not be the best. Jenny took charge of the rehearsal saving time and frayed nerves! But... I just cannot put into words how superbly she orchestrated the preparations for the wedding and reception! My daughter's wedding had 280 guests and every one of them had the time of their life! The success of the most important day of Casey's life was made possible with the guidance and capabilities of Jenny and JPB Designs! We LOVED her! -

Jenny is the BEST! She helped me a great deal since I was having a destination wedding. I couldn't have done it without her. She made everything easy and thought of tons of details I hadn't even thought of. If you were on the fence about getting a wedding planner, you should, and if you need a wedding planner in the B-more area then Jenny is your lady. -

We are so glad that we worked with Jenny to make our ceremony and reception as beautiful as possible! Jenny was great to work with . . . very professional and responsive. She was "on task" for everything and worked hard to make sure that there everything was smooth. She listened to what we wanted and took charge when she had to. Working with Jenny was an absolutely wonderful experience. She was friendly, responsive, and I always knew I could call to go over any detail. I was planning the wedding out-of-state and she was always flexible in setting up times to talk and video conferencing! I'm not a "planner"-type person, and she kept me and my now-husband in check to make sure we accomplished what we needed to, and kept to our timelines. On the day of the wedding, my mother,(who's a "picky" person) noticed how hard Jenny was running around to make sure everything was running smoothly. My mom had nothing but compliments. All of our guests enjoyed our wedding and commented how organized everything went. Only much later did I learn that some vendors hit some snafus (e.g. the rental company missed 1 table) but Jenny handled everything beautifully and people were none the wiser! We had such a blast at our wedding and it was thanks to her great work!

Like Jenny's other reviewers, we were on the fence about whether or not to get a day-of coordinator, but I can honestly say that hiring Jenny was the single BEST DECISION we made during our entire wedding planning process! Jenny is friendly, super-organized, super-professional, and, with her wonderful assistant Karla, ensured that all of the details of our big day ran smoothly (and made sure that we didn't stress over the few hiccups that - inevitably - did occur).
Our first meeting was during our final in-person meeting/tasting with our caterer, which was really helpful in terms of getting all of us on the same page and working together as a team. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we had several long phone conversations to go over all the details so she could develop a down to the minute schedule for the wedding day. She raised a number of questions that I never would have thought to consider, including what specific items she would set-up and pack-up, what needed to be loaded into the car at the end of the night, and who needs to be where and when. She also helped to implement our vision for our final exit with sparklers and provided valuable advise on tipping and other wedding etiquette. The week-of the wedding, she touched base with all of our vendors to make sure everything was good to go.
Since we were not having the ceremony at a church, which would have had a wedding coordinator, a huge plus for us was that she and Karla ran our rehearsal to make sure we had the timing of the procession and recessional aligned with our musician. This translated seamlessly into the wedding ceremony and reception, where they kept everything running smoothly and were flexible when I kept asking to push back the cutting of the cake 5 minutes (and then another 5 and then another 5) so we could finish greeting all of our guests. There were so many other things, but the bottom line is that they worried about all of the little (and big) details so that we didn't didn't have to and could enjoy the event 100%.
Jenny and Karla went far above and beyond anything we ever would have expected of a day-of coordinator and we highly, highly recommend them! -

First off, let me say that I was one of those people who didn't see the point of a wedding planner. I was also unemployed at the time so I decided to plan my wedding on my own. However I began to realize that it would be difficult to follow through on all these details on the day of. One of the staff members at my venue recommended JPB designs. I went with the "day of" package and the cost was competitive to those in the Columbia/DC area.
I was able witness first hand Jenny balancing her own personal life with my wedding plans, so I knew the day of- I would be in good hands. JPB Designs was professional, organized, and the easiest vendor I worked with. Even my family and guess adored her. From set-up to clean-up to pack up, we didn't have to worry about a thing!
If you are looking for company that is organized and not overly pushy with solutions out of your budget, then go with JPB! -

Jenny was hired for day-of services for my daughter's wedding (which did include directing the rehearsal since the minister was available only for the actual ceremony). What a superb job she did!
As the mother-of-the-bride who initially did not think a wedding coordinator was necessary, I am so glad we decided to use one. Both my daughter and I are very organized, and both of us thought an additional vendor would only make for more planning on our part and for more confusion. Jenny proved us both so wrong! Jenny was very personable, very professional, very polished--she did her job, and she did it in an unobtrusive way. I don't think any detail was overlooked. And it was sooo nice to have everything boxed and packed back into our cars when the reception was over. If I had had to do the packing at the end of the reception, I would have had a distasteful end to my evening instead of the wonderful end we did have. -

Jenny was recommended to me by Michele Goldberg at the American Visionary Art Museum, where I had my wedding.
At first, I was confused as to what a "day-of event coordinator" did because I've never known anyone in my community to hire one, but I soon realized that this was exactly what I needed.
Since I was getting married at the AVAM, I had to contract most of my vendors piece-meal. It was extremely difficult to coordinate the schedules and timing between the vendors, especially being the bride.
Jenny took care of all this for me. She coordinated between 12 different vendors the day of my wedding. She met with my sister and I twice before the wedding and called us frequently to ensure that all of the details were in place. She read through the contracts for each of our vendors and ensured that the proper goods and services were delivered the day of the wedding. She coordinated between the vendors before the wedding as well.
What was great about Jenny is that she truly opened her heart to understand our culture and customs in order to better understand the wedding ceremonies. Her questions were precise and intuitive and she had a great dedication to detail.
We had a Guyanese/Pakistani wedding with over 400 people. Jenny managed it all for us so that things could run on time and run smoothly. I am so happy that I contracted her services and I hope to contract her in the future for my sister's wedding as well.

The staff of JPB is professional and impeccably organized. Jenny was responsive, full of creative suggestions, absolutely embraced the theme of our bride and groom and made a potentially stressful day feel seamless, joyful and free of worry! Jenny is a consummate professional and made us feel that our wedding was a top priority to her through her suggestions, coordination with other vendors and presence on the day of the wedding. It ended up raining on what was scheduled to be an outdoor wedding; Jenny came to our rescue by calmly adjusting to this change and helping the whole team of vendors to rearrange and still deliver an extraordinary, memorable event. Her calm, cool and collected demeanor allowed us as parents to focus on supporting our daughter, rather than answering hundreds of last minute questions from all parties involved. In sum, Jenny allowed us to enjoy this day as much as our daughter and son-in-law did. Without question, I could not recommend Jenny more highly. -
