Our wedding at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for a better venue. As an out of state bride, it was actually the only venue we toured, the moment we saw it, we just knew it was the one. The views are absolutely stunning and created the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding weekend.
Cassie and her team was wonderful to work with and truly went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process. She made everything feel easy and seamless, even from a distance, we always felt like we were in great hands.
The food was also incredible our guests are still talking about it and saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and especially about the size of the steaks!). Every single staff member we interacted with throughout the weekend provided top-notch service and made the experience even more special.
We are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding here and are already looking forward to coming back to the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach for future anniversary stays. It will always hold such a special place in our hearts! -

Our wedding weekend at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach was nothing short of magical. From the moment we started planning to the day we checked out, everything exceeded our expectations. The Hyatt was our wedding venue, but it also hosted us, our wedding party, and all of our guests for an unforgettable weekend that felt like a true celebration from start to finish.
The entire Hyatt team was wonderful to work with. They were flexible, accommodating, and worked seamlessly with our vendors to ensure every detail was perfect. Cassie, our venue coordinator, was an absolute dream to work with. She made the planning process effortless. She was always quick to respond, incredibly organized, and attentive to every single detail. Cassie went above and beyond to ensure that our vision came to life. She was present, calm, and supportive throughout our entire stay, including the days leading up to the wedding and the weekend after. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made all the difference. As the Bride, I could relax knowing that all of the details and coordination were being taken care of.
The setting at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach is breathtaking. Our ceremony on the terrace overlooking the ocean created the perfect backdrop for saying “I do”. We were able to have the beach wedding feel without the hassle of sand. The reception room is elegant and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows that allowed us and our guests to enjoy the sunset views while celebrating. Later, we went down to the beach for photos during golden hour, and the pictures are absolutely stunning.
The only hiccup we experienced was with the air conditioning. Our wedding was on a hot day in May, and it felt like the air conditioning could not keep up. We had difficulty with the AC in our suite (so I was already very warm just getting ready before we went out for pictures in the sun), and with a hot ceremony on the terrace, our guests were hoping for some relief in the reception room...but it was very hot in there as well throughout the entire evening. When we asked about it, we were told it was working and there was nothing more that could be done.
Our guests, many traveling from both New York and Florida, raved about the beautiful accommodations, convenient location, and how smoothly everything went all weekend long.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines breathtaking views, incredible service, and a true destination-wedding feel, Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach is the place. Our wedding weekend was everything we dreamed of and more...elegant, stress-free, and completely unforgettable. -

The Hyatt Regency Clearwater and its incredible team—especially Event Director Lindsey Sikes and Lizzie Long—truly saved my wedding. After a hurricane destroyed our original venue just three weeks out, they stepped in with calm, kindness, and flawless professionalism. Lindsey and Lizzie were a dynamic duo: detail-oriented, transparent with contracts, and proactive in every decision so we could simply breathe. On the day itself, they were attentive and thoughtful beyond words, anticipating needs I didn’t even know I had. Our guests raved about the seamless experience, and I’m deeply grateful to every staff member who helped make our celebration perfect. I highly, highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Clearwater to any bride—it turned a crisis into the most beautiful day. -

If you want a flawless wedding, look no further than the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach. From start to finish, everything was beyond perfect, and we owe so much of it to Lizzie, the incredible wedding coordinator. She made sure every detail was handled with professionalism, care, and expertise, allowing us to truly enjoy our day without lifting a finger.
The ceremony, held at 4:30 PM in November, felt like a dream come true. The venue's breathtaking location provided extraordinary beach views while maintaining a sense of privacy. The cocktail hour by the beach was a massive hit with our guests, and the butler-passed hors d’oeuvres (especially the bacon-wrapped scallops) were an absolute favorite.
The food was, hands down, the best wedding food we’ve ever had—huge portions, five-star quality, and rave reviews from our guests. From the moment we woke up, the Hyatt team treated us like royalty. Champagne was delivered to our room in the morning, and throughout the day, they continuously checked in to ensure we were taken care of. Lizzie went above and beyond, making sure we always had water, food, and anything else we needed to stay comfortable and stress-free.
Lizzie and her team were outstanding. They managed every detail seamlessly, ensuring all vendors were coordinated and everyone knew where they needed to be. As the bride, I felt completely stress-free and fully present in the moment. The private first look, with the restaurant closed just for us, was intimate and magical. Erin, another member of their team, went above and beyond to ensure we always had food, drinks, and a private space to relax before the reception.
Even after the wedding, their attention to detail continued. Erin helped with the takedown, carefully organizing everything into our boxes. The entire setup and execution were flawless, and every little detail had a place.
The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach offered exceptional views, an amazing location, and top-tier service—all at a great price. Many of our guests traveled from out of town, and the hotel made them feel like they were on a luxurious vacation.
People often say something always goes wrong at a wedding, but that wasn’t the case for us. Thanks to Lizzie and the entire Hyatt team, our wedding day was truly perfect. We’re so grateful to them for making our dream wedding a reality, and we’ll cherish the memories forever. Lizzie even helped me change into my reception dress! Every little detail was thought of and taken care of.
We’ll definitely be back for anniversary trips for the rest of our lives! If you’re considering this venue, don’t hesitate—10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a perfect wedding. Thank you, Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach! -

The Hyatt Regency was INCREDIBLE. We were planning a destination wedding in Florida and we truly could not have had the weekend we had at any other hotel. Lizzie & Erin are absolutely amazing. So attentive, kind, organized and professional. Our guests had glowing reviews on the event space, the hotel staff and the food. The food was honestly so good!! My aunt who works as a wedding coordinator at a venue stated it was the best wedding food she had ever seen or had. -

Clearwater has always been a special place for us, but the Hyatt Regency found a way to make it the best yet. We cannot thank Liz enough for all of the thought and care she took into making our wedding day so special. Everything was so organized from our guests checking-in and receiving their welcome bags and champagne, to rehearsal, to finally the day-of festivities. The food was amazing, and they made sure to really take care of our guests with dietary restrictions. Everything was perfect and just as we envisioned it. We can't wait to make the Hyatt a place we can return to each anniversary to remember all of the special memories made during our wedding weekend. -

I can not say enough about Lisa, our wedding coordinator from the Hyatt. 1stboff, the value for the money is excellent. We got a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception space with backup for all outdoors spaces. The food is amazing and the open bar is perfect.
I was sad it rained on my wedding day but the hotel and staff did a great job getting everything moved so our vendors could setup properly. But those plan B services really saved the day. On top of that Lisa did a phenomenal job. She went above and beyond bmduring the entire process. She helped us find our wedding cake after our 1st cake fell through. She helped us figure the layouts and get my bridal party organized on the day of. She made sure the vendors got fed, didn't get lost, got free parking, etc. She made our vision/dream happen.

We chose the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach for our Spring 2021 wedding. It was perfection!
Kayla Seeger is AMAZING! She is so good at what she does. She handled every detail of our planning and our wedding day with professionalism and care. If we had any concern, she was on it! She made the entire experience easy and fun.
The venue is gorgeous. We chose the Skyview Terrace for our ceremony and Bellair Ballroom for reception. Ceremony kicked off at 630 and the sunset made for the most dreamy photos. Our guests are still raving about the location.
The food was everything! From our tasting, to the day of, everything they served was delicious. We went with the plated dinner and our guests were served with class and efficiency. Hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour were served at stations and everyone loved them. They have so many great options to chose from, you really cannot go wrong. I may be biased, but the team at The Hyatt serves the best food I've ever had at a wedding. Bonus! The cake is included and the vendors they work with are top notch!
We booked a two bedroom suite for the weekend. It was clean, spacious, and stylish. There was enough space for all the girls to get glammed up and prepare for the big day. Our Hyatt team surprised us in the morning with MIMOSAS! We were thrilled. We also received a complimentary suite to stay in on the night of our wedding. The team delivered our cake, personal items, and left over food to the suite behind the scenes. They took care of EVERYTHING and made it such a care free day for our friends and family.
Getting married in the midst of a pandemic could have derailed a lot of our plans. I want to thank The Hyatt, and Kayla, for delivering our dream wedding. They gave us the day we were expecting and more despite the challenges we are all faced with in these times.
If you're reading this, you know you have a lot of amazing options to chose from here in Tampa. I think you deserve to have your special day at The Hyatt, and you deserve to have their team make it perfect for you. -

I had the most amazing wedding at the Hyatt. We booked it two months before the wedding and Lindsey and Kayla both helped us make the wedding of our dreams possible in a short amount of time. They accommodated us and our guests above and beyond! Kayla was a savior, took care of everything I needed, helped with the kids, super responsive! The catering staff was lovely and accommodating. Service, food, view, etc are all outstanding and the whole wedding process was super organized. Many guests told me it was the best/ most beautiful wedding they had been to. -

Kayla at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach made our dream wedding come to life! Kayla was brought onto the team from Chicago only a few months before our wedding day! This was a little nerve racking but she was amazing! She is so sweet and patient and knows the business well! She responded quickly to all of my emails and concerns, and was there the whole way through our wedding weekend! I arrived at the hotel on Thursday will some family and all bridal party, and we were met with 5 star service, from valet to the bellman to our event staff! We had our rehearsal dinner in the Caladesi Room on Friday nignt and our reception in the Bellaire Ballroom on Saturday. No detail went unseen! I wish we could relive our special day and I would choose Hyatt Regency Clearwater with Kayla and her team over, and over, and over again! -

When we went to look at the Venue, I walked into the Bellair room I had to hold back from crying. It was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was very friendly from the start, which made me feel like all would go well with the process.
I am not exaggerating when I say our Wedding was PERFECT. The staff at the Hyatt (Sales, Catering & Banquet) and my planner made sure everything was perfect. It was so much fun and was glad that I had no pressure and was able to enjoy my reception.
Everyone was a pleasure to work with and they took really great care of me and my family. I could not have asked for more. -

Best venue choice
When deciding on a venue, my husband and I wanted a place with an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. We wanted a private ceremony area that was not on the beach but with beach views. The Hyatt checked all of our boxes. The ceremony space, cocktail area and reception were all stunning and private. The Hyatt provided a list of preferred vendors which made planning easy and also included catering, tables/linens, cake and many other little things. What sealed the deal on this venue over other resorts was working with the coordinators. Roseli was beyond amazing. She helped us every step of the way replying to many emails and phone calls, and made sure our day was perfect. We didn’t even need to hire a wedding planner as Roseli ensured everything would be taken care of. We had total confidence in Roseli and the Hyatt, as they followed through with every promise they made. We are thrilled with our venue choice. -

From the very beginning, Lindsey was the first vendor to respond to my inquiries about event availability. Lindsey was on top of everything, yet she was never pushy or too "salesy". The thing we really appreciate about working with Lindsey is that she was honest and real with us. I could tell that she wasn't trying to just close a sale, she truly wanted to make us happy and she was willing to work with us on our questions or requests.
Once we locked in the Hyatt as our wedding venue, we got to work with Danielle and she was on top of everything as well. What we really appreciate about Danielle is that no matter what, she always had a smile and an awesome attitude. She was super cool under pressure and we could tell that she really cared about us and our event. We also know that she was busting her butt behind the scenes to make sure we had nothing to worry about, but you'd never know it by her calm demeanor. We appreciate her hard work so very much, our wedding day was perfect and beautiful.
The service from the banquet staff was outstanding, Erin was on point making sure we had everything we needed, and all of the servers were always smiling with great attitudes. Every single thing was delicious, our guests were raving about the food! The Chef accommodated all of our special requests and we were so very happy with everything!!
All of the staff here, from the team of valet and bellhops to the chef and banquet staff, were absolutely AMAZING. Always smiling, great attitudes, and exceptional customer service, surpassing our expectations. It was really important that our guests from out of town had a great experience at the hotel, and the staff made sure of it. We are forever grateful for an EPIC wedding weekend. -

Gina Sent on 03/21/2018We hadn’t even started wedding planning when we took a trip to Clearwater and stayed at the Hyatt Regency. The concierge, Kyndal was so sweet and helpful and upgraded us to the beautiful terrace suite. After the incredible customer service from our first interaction with Kyndal we were convinced that we needed to have our wedding in Clearwater at the Hyatt. We got in touch with Savannah, the wedding coordinator and she contacted us back immediately and provided us with all the information we needed. Once we booked the Hyatt as our venue, Savannah continued to work with us and answer our numerous questions. Unfortunately Savannah ended up moving to another state, but fortunately Roseli, another excellent coordinator was there! The transition between the two was seamless and there was never any confusion or anything missing during that time! Roseli also continued to patiently work with us and answer more of our never ending questions, helped us make changes to our buffet menu, and even let us schedule a tasting on a Friday when we had no other dates available. The weekend of our wedding they had everything covered. They had my dress and my husband’s suit steamed and delivered back to us and even provided us with another huge mirror when we requested one for getting ready the morning of the wedding. Roseli checked in on us on the day of and even helped us out by holding my youngest nephew when he had a melt down and didn’t make it down the aisle. Maria was in charge of our buffet and service and did such an amazing job. Everyone raves about our food at the reception and we even heard a few people made it to the buffet for thirds and fourths even though they were stuffed because the food was so delicious. I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with the level of customer service, how beautiful the ceremony and reception areas were, how smoothly the wedding went, and just how incredibly nice everyone was. I will always recommend the Hyatt Regency in Clearwater!

Despite the rain on our wedding day the staff was able to re-group and set up our back up location quickly and made our guests feel comfortable. It was my dream venue and they made my dream wedding a reality. Worth every penny. -

Dawn Sent on 05/31/2012We held both our ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort one month ago. Our ceremony was located on the 16th floor Sky Terrace which provided absolutely stunning views, and our reception followed later that evening in the Aqualea ballroom. I would HIGHLY recommended looking into the Hyatt Clearwater Beach as a wedding venue location. It's the perfect location for couples like us who want to get married near the beach, but not necessarily "on" the beach (though they do offer a beach ceremony location). The staff was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and the wedding day ran very smoothly! Our guests raved about the hotel itself and really enjoyed the large, beautiful rooms and the pool (and incredible views!). We also were able to provide our guests with a Sunday Breakfast buffet the morning after the wedding which was again done beautifully and allowed us extra time to spend with guests after the wedding madness :) Also, the food was DELICIOUS and tasted just as good as it did during our tasting. The Hyatt blew away all of the other venue locations that we looked at and I would recommend them a million times over!
