    The Perfect Venue!

    Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch is such a beautiful venue with plenty of space, I was so excited to have my wedding here in November. They have the option for indoor and outdoor, both settings are absolutely stunning, you can't go wrong here. There are SO many different areas for photos, each unique and gorgeous any time of the year. The venue coordinator, Samantha, is such a kind soul! She was so helpful every step of the way! She was very professional and had answers to all of my questions, she is so easy to talk to and she knows what she's doing! I received so many compliments on the venue from wedding guests all night, it truly was perfect. We are forever thankful for Samantha and the HSSR family for making our special day exactly how we imagined it.

    Best Venue EVER

    All I have to say is that this place was so amazing I had to leave a review. The moment we stepped into this venue we immediately knew it would be the place we would choose. Not only was it absolutely beautiful but the staff was INCREDIBLE, so professional, helpful and kind!

    What a dream!

    This venue is absolutely gorgeous! There are so many areas that can be utilized and so many areas for beautiful photos! Sam was such a dream to work with. She was quick to respond, friendly, and very accommodating! Mine and my husband’s overall wedding experience here was PERFECT.

    Beautiful Venue + Experienced, Knowledgeable Staff

    Taylor, Brittany, and Elise were a dream team to work with. Despite the unfortunate changes that happened due to the pandemic, each of them handled the situation with grace and kept constant communication, were very understanding, detailed, and professional. From booking with them back in Fall 2018 and throughout the planning process, everyone (especially Taylor) was there to answer any question and offer help and guidance. Their Preferred Vendor list especially helped with planning and made it easy to find amazing local vendors, and the onsite cottage + getting ready rooms are a huge plus for families/bridal parties. The venue itself is a beautiful getaway hidden in the Valley and the team constantly finds ways to make it even better through physical renovations/additions to the venue as well as changes to their wedding packages to accommodate a wide variety of weddings/events.

    Out of 11 venues, this was our favorite

    My fiance and I visited 11 venues looking for one that would fit our budget. Out of all the venues we toured, HSSR was our favorite and the most affordable. Taylor welcomed us into the property very and kindly answered all of our questions. We are exited to host our special day at this beautiful location!

    I am so thankful for Seven Sycamores and staff for so many reasons. Elise is accommodating and went above and beyond to help my new husband and I throughout our 15 month engagement. Originally, my husband and I had planned on our ceremony being on the patio of the Glass Barn and the reception being on the inside of the Glass Barn. The weather took a turn for the worse a few days before the wedding and it wasn't showing any signs of letting up. The day before our rehearsal, Elise contacted me with a really generous offer to use the Garden Barn as our ceremony site at no additional cost. With that being said, only 2 days before the wedding, there was no time to find or order decorations for the Garden Barn (much bigger space than our original ceremony site) but it definitely did not need it. Nobody out side of the wedding party had any idea that this was a last minute change. Its such a beautiful property. I cannot being to describe how much money this saved us. We got very lucky and we are so thankful.
    Seven Sycamores has a special feel to it. I felt comfortable the entire day, our guests commented on how much they just loved our venue choice, and there are SO MANY photo opportunities on site. The entire property is very well taken care of. HSSR makes finding vendors super easy. I think I found every single one of my vendors on their preferred vendors list OR they were recommended to me by Elise. Tables, chairs and linens were included in my package and they all looked to be in fantastic shape. I cant say enough about this place. I love HSSR and it will always be a special place to my husband and I. We cannot wait to visit.

    We had our wedding here on June 7, 2014 and everything turned out wonderful. This venue is absolutly gorgeous! We loved having it out in the country surrounded by orange orchards. Work with Kim there even planner was great. She really helped us a lot and answered all of our questions quickly. She even let us use some props from another wedding that she done. We loved everything so much. If you are looking for a rustic venue in the central valley this is the best spot. We had both the garden and barn setting for our venue and we rented the house for my bridal party and family to get dressed.

    Mikka McClain (the event coordinator) provided my fiancé and me the best quality service. We have never felt so important in our lives. The overall staff is excellent, they make you feel welcomed. I totally recommend Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch for any type of event. Thanks to Mikka we had the best engagement dinner ever!!!

    We truly were amazed by the venue! It was breathtaking!! For us, it was about all the little extra things that were done for us! Our guests felt comfortable and enjoyed their surroundings!

    I looked at a TON of different venues for our wedding and knew that this was the one for me the second I walked in. It was absolutely beautiful and they were constantly working on ways to upgrade and enhance the appearance of the Ranch. Some of the things that were huge pluses for me....they had working bathrooms (not porta potties like a lot of venues I saw), and the arbor that everyone eats under had misters that cooled you down but didnt get you wet, which was awesome for my June wedding! Since they don't cater, you aren't required to do catering through them and I got to pick whoever I wanted as long as they had a license, which was nice.

    Aside from the beauty of the place, another strong factor in picking this place was how easy and knowledgeable the event coordinator, Mikka, was. She was easy to get a hold of and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. She was super flexible and the rest of her team was very friendly and there to help. The day of my event a girl named Sam and the "handyman" Tim helped us out. I think Sam may have been new but she helped us with everything we needed and had zero problems! Tim was awesome and checked with me multiple times during the event to make sure everything was going the way I wanted. I was so happy to have my wedding planning process go so smoothly when it came to dealing with Seven Sycamores and will recommend them to everyone I know!

    We choose Seven Sycamores Glass Barn because of it's rustic look and amazingly beautiful scenery. We where not dissapointed. Mikka, the wedding cordinator for Seven Sycamores took care of every detail and was always available to calm my nerves or handle any last minute crisis. She handles everything with ease and professionalism. The cottages to stay the night in are amazing. Why would you want to get married anywhere else? Once your reception is over you walk to your cottage. In the morning we walked through the orange groves, looked at the peacocks and chickens one last time while ran lightly drizzled down on us. A perfect ending to a perfect weekend. I didn't want to leave! Hightly recommend!!

    Everything was absolutely amazing. I cannot say how many times people told me the venue was so beautiful and I even heard compliments about Mikka from other vendors and my guests. Mikka is amazing!!!! I cannot say that enough. Everything was organized, efficient, she always was readily available no matter what! It was all perfect :) Thank you sooo soo much! For all that Mikka does you guys could totally raise your venue prices the value is incredibly high!

    I'm hoping another bride hires me to coordinate and decorate another wedding...SOON! I love this venue! It is naturally beautiful which makes it all that more fun to decorate. Mikka is a dream to work with. She is easy to work with and down-to-earth. This venue is my first choice for an outdoor wedding.

    Overall I loved this venue. Even before the renovations it was gorgeous. It was natural and the flowers were in bloom. Very little decor needed. I received many compliments and would not have it any other way. The staff was the very best! Thank you Seven Sycamores Ranch!

    We knew the venue was beautiful and on the day of the wedding it exceeded all of our expectations. We had so many compliments from guests about the venue and have referred other friends to the venue for their weddings. I believe one couple will be having their wedding there in march. Mikka was so great and answered any questions we had. Thank you so much

    Kim Rico is the venue manager. She is nice, creative, and very flexible- this makes the whole process that much easier.
    This place is gorgeous. You have an indoor/outdoor option along with so many options for the ceremony. The venue is surrounded by orange groves. There are restrooms so you don't have to deal with porta potties. You can choose your own cateter, rental company etc. with no extra fees.
    We loved this place!

    This space was gorgeous! I had my wedding in the Glass Barn and it was big enough for my 150 guests, food, and dancing. The outside space gave extra footage and brought that country feel without it being too country (since my husband doesn't like that look). Although it looks small, this place was huge! There was a wedding going on on the other side of the venue, but that did not conflict at all with mine. Everyone loved the place and the decorations provided were spot on. It's a wonderful place for a simple wedding, or an extravagant one!

    Seven Sycamores Ranch is a beautiful and unique venue. My daughter's wedding was in the Glass Barn which is perfect for a ceremony and reception. Kim Rico was very helpful in the planning and implementing of details. She is very professional and knowledgeable.

    Our day was wonderful and I would highly recommend Mikka McClain and Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch for anyone looking for a wedding or event venue. We couldn't have selected a better time of year with almost everything in bloom, the roses, irises, orange blossoms, and jasmine covering the arbors. It was beautiful for the eyes and the nose. Mikka helped us extensively over the course of our year planning, including rentals for the linens and place settings.

    The venue manager is very helpful and approaches most queries with a 'yes' attitude, which was refreshing after hearing a lot of restrictions and 'no's from other places. The venue is growing in popularity and I would suggest they bring on additional help to keep up with the flow of business! This venue is BEAUTIFUL - we fell in love with it when we first toured it, which was in the wintertime. We got married the following autumn and it was everything we wanted in a venue. We feedback we received from our guests was that 'you feel worlds away from everything' and we agree completely. There is so much natural beauty that you don't need a lot of decorations, if you're looking for an outdoor venue. While there is a barn for indoor events, keep it mind it is a barn and has it's limitations. I would recommend the venue improve the PA system.

    We Love Historic Seven Sycamores!

    We got married this last Saturday April 27th. We told ourselves that after all the chaos we would sit down and start leaving reviews for our vendors. So here we are! I'm going to see if we can do this in one go and try to keep this as open and honest as possible! We absolutely LOVED our big day at HSS! It was gorgeous, and we recommend April weddings there (it was a tad warm but nothing unbearable). Everything was green, gorgeous, and smelled AMAZING! We got so many compliments about the venue and how everything looked; we also LOVED working with Taylor! She was quick with responses and answering questions. Don't be afraid to ask her questions and ask for clarification if you don't understand things! She was so very sweet and helpful and was always able to point you in the right direction. And it was a BLAST staying in the cottage! So much fun, and convenient for the bridal party to get together and get ready. We had the cottage while another wedding was going on, and it was NO issue; everyone stayed in their respective areas and we even caught some glimpses of the fun wedding before us.

    The only issues we had: Know that on weekend days especially they can/will book two weddings in one day (which is hard to imagine). We didn't know this (or possibly didn't remember). And after some obvious frustration from the both of us, they added on the other half of the venue at a reduced cost. We weren't about to have competing music, guests, parking, bathroom lines, and parking! And if/when you do an all inclusive package and decide to do a FULL bar pay attention. While they give you a stipend for a bar tending service (and you have to chose off of their preferred list) it does NOT cover the services HOURLY cost and also be aware of corking fees (though some of this has nothing to do with HSS themselves more the bar company). Hope that if you have a weekend wedding, there isn't a wedding on friday as they will have to hold your rehearsal on a Thursday (which made it hard for us as we live out of town). They offered to hold the rehearsal the morning of, which wouldn't work since us girls have to start getting ready early on.

    All in all the staff at HSS did make our day run smoother, made it memorable, and undeniably gorgeous! This history and look of this place really adds to the feel. There are so many places for gorgeous picture opportunities, and the space gives you the ability for you/your coordinator to really play with. It was also great to have the cottage all set up with beds, towels etc. and access to its storage areas. A lot of our bigger decor items and alcohol we were able to bring up early and store rather than the night before/day of the wedding. The bridal suite was also a great place for the guys to hang out and get ready (while the girls took over the cottage and were hidden away from their prying eyes). You really can't go wrong when choosing a ceremony/reception place as the garden area and glass barn are both so unique and beautiful! This place is so amazingly beautiful (wonder how many times I've said beautiful) and we really couldn't have chosen anywhere better (we actually talking about doing anniversary pictures here if we can)! Thank you to Taylor and the rest of the HSS Staff for everything! For dealing with my (the brides) 1,000 questions, stress, and demands. You really help my vision and our big day come true!

    I am in love with my choice of venue for my December wedding. The managers were friendly, helpful, and supportive. I voiced several concerns and every concern was answered in a timely fashion. One of the managers even spent a good 15 minutes trying to help my husband and maid of honor with the horror that was my bustle on our wedding day. I will always remember my wedding year and especially day of fondly as a result of the wonderful staff and the beauty and uniqueness of Seven Sycamores.

    We were extremely pleased with our choice and the flexibility to use the Glass Barn if the weather had not cooperated. Our florist, caterer, and baker all were familiar with Seven Sycamores and worked seemlessly. Our guests were delighted.

    Beautiful Venue

    We visited this as our first venue and instantly fell in love! Can’t wait for our May 2020 wedding. The staff has been great very helpful and attentive to ours questions. The venue includes lot for the price. Can’t wait!

    Seven Sycamores Ranch is great to work with. Very helpful and accommodating to the needs of our event. I would recommend using Seven Sycamores as a venue to hold a wedding or event at. It was a pleasure working with Mikka and her team.

    The venue (Glass Barn) was absolutely beautiful - Just what we wanted. Plenty of space for guests to roam, beautiful lighting and photo opportunities, and a great atmosphere for a lovely celebration. Parking was easy to navigate. They truly make everything easier - from planning/rentals to the day of, just a great experience.

    Historic Seven Sycamore is a great outdoor venue. There are great spots for pictures and the up keeping of the venue is clean and upscale.

    The Venue is extremely beautiful. Every guest was extremely happy and many were considering having their wedding there.

    Overall our experience with Seven Sycamores went pretty well. We rented both the Glass Barn and the Garden area for 300 hundred guest and we were really happy with how beautiful the venue is. We booked with them a little over a year of the event and seen the venue go through some changes with their staff and property renovations. Some of the changes affected their initial contract with us and we were forced to alter our plans on our big day. We were not very happy when we found, but the newly hired staff (Kim Ricco) did a great job accommodating our requests to make up for the disappointment we had in the unexpected changes. The only other problem we had was with their security staff being rude at the end of the night. Other then that, I would definitely recommend Seven Sycamores and was happy that my husband and I got to spend our special day there.

    We loved the venue and it turned out beautiful. However, there were some concerns we felt weren’t acknowledged and/or taken care of the day of the event (cobwebs in the barn, grease on the floor, etc.). The north east corner of the building had a greasy film on the floor, which resulted in the chair covers being stained and the bride’s dress being filthy (it is at the cleaners now, waiting to see if it comes out). We also asked about the fans being turned down and were told the fans were either “off or on”…no inbetween. However, one of the guests later told us they adjusted the fan above their table, so apparently they can be adjusted. Mikka was always responsive, flexible and helpful with the event. We only used about an hour of her consultation time only because the bride was out of the area. It is really difficult to have dinner in the barn with no refrigerator, sink or way to keep food hot. Mikka was very accommodating and the use of the full house the day of the wedding was a lifesaver since we were out there the majority of the day and didn’t have time to go home and return.
    In hindsight, it would have been helpful to have Mikka as a site coordinator to help with the wedding event, in terms of keeping things moving. I’m not saying she SHOULD have done that, but if that’s a service they can offer, I would pay additional for it another time. Keep in mind we are only about the third wedding in the barn so they are working out the kinks. Overall, it was awesome! It's a setting that's so fun and memorable. I'd definitely use them again or recommend to others.

    Coordinator changed a few months before the wedding, and some thing were not made clear or were changed with the new coordinator.

    Don't be fooled by the beauty of this venue!!!!! Yes it is pretty but that is the only nice thing I can say about this place. I booked the venue in July of 2013 and part way through the year I was contacted and told that the owner fired the wedding coordinator and I was forced to sign a new contract. They did offer to give my deposit back but no other venue was available in our wedding day and Save the Dates had already been ordered. Part of that new contract was asking us to spend even more than we signed up for. The new wedding coordinator was extremely rude and she smiled while I was tearful and upset about the situation. A month before my wedding I went to the venue for a walk through and everything was fine. I went for a final walk through a couple of weeks before the event and they had added a huge barn wall in the pavilion area that I intended on using Bc I had 250 guests. No one informed my about the changes and even though I was crying and angry the wedding coordinator and owner did nothing to help or ease the situation. They were extremely rude. The worst thing I did was have my wedding here and after booking both sides to the venue and spending a large amount of money the wedding coordinator Kim did not even help with the wedding, setup or even leave her office. I'm just glad I never have to work with them again!

    we planned on having our wedding on march 30 2013 starting at five aclock well in visiting the venue for decoration ideas we met a employee who was also having his reception there at 4:00 the same day on the same grounds. the two parties would have only been acouple hundred feet apart sharing the same bathrooms and having to compete with music volumes. we were never informed by mikka. the contract stated that we had EXCLUSIVE acess to the grounds and that was taken away and mikka's lack of communicating would have ruined our special day. be careful u might have more then one wedding on your day without you even knowing.
