Here comes the bride is the place to go for wedding dresses. The store is not impressive from the outside, but inside surprisingly, there is a very good selection of quality wedding dresses. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. I went to several dress shops before this one, and left very disappointed. This one by far out-did them all!

I got my dress and headband from Here comes the bride. The minute I walked in I felt very warm and welcomed. I went there by myself and they helped me find a dress within my budget. Rose and her staff are very helpful and considerate. The seamstress was so much fun to work with and a top notch job. Who lives in the Chicago land area should definitely stop by!!!!

The women in this shop are amazing. I don’t know how, but after I showed them two photos of dresses I liked, they pulled THE dress for me, and they let me stay in it as long as I wanted to. The women are polite, and friendly. The shop is small, and comfortable. I didn’t imagine being able to find MY dress so easily, but it was a breeze with them. And, because it’s off the rack, it’s affordable too. I especially appreciated that they kept my dress until my final fitting (if it’s off the rack, you usually have to take it). These women are the best! And the alterations were done perfectly, and also affordable!

I was very pleased with my experience at Here Comes the Bride! I found the perfect dress for a surprisingly affordable price, and the people there were great to work with. I'd highly recommend it!

We had looked at so many places for a dress and nothing even came close in value to my dress. From the moment I walked into their store the two girls that we had worked with were patient, respectful, and helpful. My dress came in under budget and was soooo comfortable!! The only negative, and this was probably my fault, make sure you and the alteration person are on the same page with the bra you are going to wear. I am rather busty and the bra worked initially but once I tried it on with it after the fitting it looked awful so we had to purchase the bra they had there which I wish I had had initially at the first fitting. Good news is there bra was only 20 bucks and was perfect! Every bride should check out their store!

After going around to bridal boutiques all over Chicago, I came to Here Comes the Bride. The staff was friendly and super helpful. I found my dress, which they had just gotten into the store, and it was in perfect condition (which wasn't the case for all of the dresses). They offered a discount for buying it right then and we were able to walk out of the store with the most perfect dress I had tried on. Amazing value, but you can't return it and you can't put it on hold without a deposit.

the service was wonderful, and they let you browse the dresses yourself too, which I appreciated.

the prices are way better than your average bridal shop, but still that's expensive.

their return policy is terrible ("no returns").

I tried on 5 dresses and they saved the best for last. At Here Comes the Bride the sales assistant & manager, listen to what style you are looking for and pull the items for you to try on. Be warned, they have such good prices, that the dresses don't' stay around for very long. I HATE paying RETAIL, this was a FANTASTIC find. Thank you!

After finding my Dress at another store, I went back to show my family and it was gone, re-sold. I was crushed,I got my money back and stormed out of the store telling everyone not to buy a dress there on my way out !!! I went to countless other Bridal Shops with no luck. I live right down the street form Here Comes The Bride and decided to just stop in. I not only fell in LOVE with 1 dress but 2 dresses. The people that work there helped me decide which one was best for me based on the kind of wedding I was having & I bought it on the spot ! I needed very minor alterations,which they did and the day I picked up my Dress was the Second happiest day of my life, Second only to my wedding day !

I went to about 5 different wedding dress shops and tried on about 60 dresses. Then a co-worker told me that his wife went here and bought a dress. Since I was familiar with the area I decided to check it out. I found my dress here. After going to all those other places this was a find. They are very helpful and friendly. A few other brides bought their dress here after my co-worker's wife told them about this place.

This is a WONDERFUL bridal shop! The staff are SO helpful and responsive. Based on my very succinct deion of what I was looking for, the staff produced exactly what I was looking for, and I bought the dress of my dreams off the rack in my size. Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially on veils and other accessories (which can be ridiculously expensive elsewhere). I would recommend this place as a starting point for anyone who is driving distance to Chicago.

The best part of my wedding planning was getting my dress here. The ladies at Here Comes the Bride were so helpful, and all of the dresses were beautiful. It is a sample shop, so the dresses are sold off the rack, but they are all in excellent condition. My dress was a Demitrius ball-gown, and was only $800! They do the alterations (the only problem I had with the alterations was that she told me the dress had to be tight to stay up, but it was toooo tight the day of the wedding, and was kind of uncomfortable. The seamstress didn't really listen to what I was saying, but everyone else did, which is why they get 3.5 stars for flexibility). I would definitely recommend this shop for someone that wants a gorgeous dress for not a ton of money!

This store was great and I loved everything!! The only thing that upset me was the person doing the alterations there was so nice but charged me $200 and I had no problem with that, until my wedding night about 10pm when my whole bustle came apart!!!! Yikes..........
