Hidden Gem

Truly a hidden gem! When we first went to tour the venue, we were a little uncertain from the front parking lot. The entrance is very unassuming. Do not let that deter you! Once you enter the hall you are greeted with a beautiful space! From the black and white floors, the amazingly ornate wooden bar along the dance floor, the lounge areas, the fireplace and the perfect mood lighting, the hall is an absolute dream! The staff is amazing from the beginning of planning until after your big day. Incredibly friendly, and responsive and just all around great to work with. Hendri’s also offers their own catering, and they provided a wonderful meal that was complimented by many of our guests throughout the night. Even if you have another venue, I would suggest checking out Hendri’s for catering as they also cater offsite. All in all, I cannot say enough good things about Hendri’s, and highly suggest checking them out!

Best team ever

We couldn’t be more thrilled with Hendri’s Food Caterer for our wedding! They went above and beyond from the very first consultation to the last bite of our wedding reception! The food was absolutely delicious - our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was.
Dan’s attention to detail was impressive. He listened carefully to our preferences and dietary requirements, offering helpful suggestions while still staying true to our vision. The staff was incredibly professional and friendly, ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the evening.
The highlight for many was the variety and quality of the menu. The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were all spectacular and catered to every taste. It was clear that the team puts a lot of care and passion into their work.
We are so grateful to have chosen Hendri’s Food Caterer for our wedding, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch catering for their special event. Thank you, Hendri’s, for making our day unforgettable!

Our guests RAVED about the food!

Hendri's name came up repeatedly as we toured a number of venues for our wedding. With all of their menu suggestions and event experience, it felt like they knew the Sheldon better than anyone else which made our lives so much easier. I have just looking for reputable event, the food didn't have to be the star of the evening, but our guests raved about the food! We had the caraway pork tenderloin, the stuffed chicken, mashed potatoes and gazed carrots and broccoli. Their staff was super nice and even offered to individually bag our wedding cookies for our guests the day of. The only note on the whole experience was that their staff was a little pushy throughout the night to clear the tables. They kept taking drinks off the tables as people were on the dance floor, and a large number of our take home cookie baggies got thrown away off the tables during dancing/clean up. As the bride, a never got a cookie from my wedding day because I left it on the table so I would have one to take home, but at the end of the night, it was gone. Not the end of the world, but they were in to go bags for a reason. Overall I still give them a 99.9% because they did was exceptional.

Best caterer ever!

Dan is my favorite wedding vendor. He is so kind, knowledgeable, and communicative. Dan helped us put together the perfect menu that was within our budget. Hendri's even unexpectedly added some fun arrangements to the serving table. I got so many compliments on how delicious and filling the food was. The rest of the staff was incredibly attentive during the reception. My husband and I felt the most well-taken-care-of that we probably ever will in an evening!

Delicious!

We used Hendri's catering for our wedding at the Sheldon. Dan was very helpful and informative every step of the way. He answered all of our questions and pricing was very straightforward. We did a buffet and dessert bar for our wedding and everything was delicious. We got a ton of compliments!

No one better!

We had our second event with Hendri's and it will not be our last! Their food is beyond compare! They are so professional and they will bend over backwards to make your event special! Give them a call you will not be disappointed!

I am beyond pleased with Hendri's! The food was delicious. The service is great. The price is good. They are a delight to work with. I got so many compliments on this venue about the food, super friendly staff, and how cool of a place it is and the ambiance. It's like a hidden gem in South Saint Louis! Everything was perfect! They do all the set up, linens, centerpieces. You cannot beat the price for what you get! Hendri's is amazing!

Hendri's was the best caterer ever for our outdoor wedding this summer! They are extremely responsive, friendly, and professional. Of the seven catering options our venue provided us with, Hendri's definitely had the best tasting food and as an added bonus was the most affordable. They did a beautiful job setting up the tables, linens, food, bar, and place settings the day of the wedding and the food was delicious. The servers were very attentive to us an our guests throughout the night. We highly recommend them and are very happy we chose them for our special day!

This was an awesome value for our money! Everyone loved the food and drinks. I liked having a fireplace at the venue, it gave people a place to take a break from the dance floor. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Hendri's catered our wedding at The Edge and we were thrilled at how well everything went. Mara did a great job of providing our table decorations and created a beautiful dessert table for us. Dan was with us the night of the wedding and assisted with our little last minute decorations. The food was delicious and the serving staff were pleasant and professional. I would hire Hendri's again and highly recommend them.

Our daughter just had her wedding reception at Hendri’s. It was awesome. The food was excellent and the room looked great. They are easy to work with and very reasonable.

I can not say enough good things about Hendri's. Dan and Mara are wonderful. This venue is absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing. So many of our guests complimented us on our choice. Hendri's made sure we were fully accommodated, even when we were being a little picky. The staff was GREAT!!! The night could not have gone smoother. We got delicious food off of real plates and drank fantastic beverages out of real glasses. I contacted Dan multiple times throughout the planning process and he was always quick to answer me back. If you are planning a wedding reception, I would 100% recommend Hendri's, without thinking twice. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Our wedding reception at Hendri's was outstanding. Dan & Mara—the owners and operators—provided exceptional service and valuable advice at every stage of our planning. They were so friendly and accommodating, as well as very prompt in answering questions for us. The food was excellent; our guests were still bringing it up to us for days after the event. The bar had great beers in stock and Urban Chestnut Zwickel on tap, in addition to good house selections of wine and the standard liquors. We couldn't believe how reasonably priced everything was compared to the many other venues we toured. Hendri's is really a hidden gem in South Saint Louis City. It's such a cool space—very charming and elegant.

I highly recommend Hendri's. My fiance and I went to every venue we could think of and this was a hidden gem I wish we would have found in the beginning. Not only was the place beautiful, the food was literally the best we have ever had. From the tasting to the actual day, everything was on point. Dan and his wife Maura were more than willing to help in any way they could and also were full of great ideas to help me along the process. The only thing we wished for was a longer night to enjoy everything, it went by way too quick!

The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service we received from every single staff person at Hendri's was outstanding. Our guests are still talking about the wonderful service, delicious food and beautiful setting. Would recommend Hendri's to anyone!

Hendri's catered all the food for our wedding reception at the Sheldon Concert Hall and we were extremely happy with them. I can't tell you how many people came up to us and expressed how much they enjoyed the food and how delicious it was. We worked closely with Dan to plan our menu and other important details and he was always extremely helpful. We communicated via email or phone and his responses were always prompt, which I very much appreciated. I had Hendri's food at another wedding before ours and was so impressed I booked them for ours without looking anywhere else. If you are planning your wedding, save yourself some time and just book Hendri's now!

We were so happy to find Hendri's! We just had our 9/20 wedding at Hendri's and everything was perfect! Dan and his team were easy to work with, very professional, and exuded a very calm, we-do-this-all-the-time-so-don't-worry presence. Dan and his team worked to accommodate all of my ideas and provided helpful suggestions throughout the planning process.

The venue itself is amazing - striking with it's dark wood decor, black/white dance floor, full wood bar, and beautiful fireplace. The food is prepared on-site and seemed to be completely customizable. Best yet - it was delicious. We got RAVE reviews over the food!

The staff was super helpful, friendly and polite. Everyone knew my name and my drink preference...and that wasn't just because I was the bride. This happened all night for most of our guests.

Hendri's is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it to any bride for a beautiful reception.

Our Daughter's Wedding Reception - from start to finish - was a very pleasant experience. We met Dan, who walked us through the space, talked about the party and the possibilities. He made us feel very comfortable and that he had everything under control! I interviewed a number of venues and Hendri's stood out. The value for your money is top notch and I don't really know how they do it! The food is prepared right there and can be tailored to your tastes. We received 100% compliments on the food and the space. We even had one family member who told us he had NEVER had good reception food and had low expectations. He made a special effort to tell us he was eating his words - AND going back for seconds! Bartenders and servers (Maria) were the best - they knew our names and our preferences that evening! We were even allowed to pick up all our decorations and odds and ends that Monday which made leaving the party so much easier.

I would highly recommend Hendri's to anyone hosting any kind of party and would not hesitate to use them again myself! Thank you Hendri's for a wonderful evening.

Our daughter's wedding reception in July, 2014 was held at Hendri's Banquet Center. The décor of the venue is very beautiful and elegant, yet definitely has a very comfortable old-world charm. Dan and Steve Sulz, the owners, are very professional, yet very nice and easy to deal with in all aspects of the reception. Mara Sulz is very artistic, and was very helpful in all the planning stages. The wedding reception details were handled wonderfully, and eliminated much worry and stress for us. Our dinner menu was absolutely delicious and Hendri's offers many selections from which to choose. Their staff was very courteous, efficient and always accommodating to all the guests' needs. The service was excellent all evening, especially from their staff serving drinks at the beautiful antique bar. The décor and table settings were outstanding and added to the wonderful ambience of a fun-filled, joyous reception enjoyed by our guests. Our son-in-law is an Air Force Captain, and many military and out-of-town guests were in attendance. All were quite impressed with Hendri's , and we are still receiving many compliments from them. We have attended many events at Hendri's, including having our son's wedding rehearsal dinner held there, and each time the word "quality" comes to mind. We would highly recommend Hendri's for any special event or celebration, as their reputation is very well known and highly respected in the St. Louis area.

Planning a wedding is stressful but planning a wedding from CA when both the parents of the bride and the bride are out of state is a real stressor! Dan and Mara are professionals in their trade and were fabulous to work with constantly fielding our myraid of questions. They offered great suggestions on the DJ, schedule, decorating and the food. Our daughter's event was everything she wanted, a very intimate, candlelight setting. (195 guests). The food was absolutely delicious, the service amazing and Mara and staff worked tirelessly to make it a memorable evening. We have received many compliments on the food, the indoor setting and service. If we had to do this over again there is nothing we would change.

The quality of their food really sets them apart from other caterers we tried and that is what attracted us to them. Little did we know that the service would be great as well. They were very helpful in the in the planning stages and the reception went off without a hitch and without me having to worry about anything, which is exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. Plus, every time I mentioned who our caterers where to different vendors, they all responded very positively, so they clearly have a good reputation within the wedding industry. You are in good hands with Hendri's.

We can't say enough on the quality of food and service. I'd highly recommend Hendri's for all your catering needs. One example of the extra touch - they offered to take the left overs to a homeless shelter and made the extra effort to drop off at the food just after the event was over.

LOCATION OF CEREMONY & RECEPTION: My husband and I got married in December. Because most of our guests were out of town, and it was likely that the weather would be cold, we decided to have our ceremony and reception in one location. Hendri's has one banquet room. That being said, we had our ceremony and reception in one room with the guests already seated at their tables. I was extremely nervous about this setup, but to our surprise we received numerous positive remarks from our guests. They absolutely loved being in one location and not having to deal with the hassle of finding their way to the reception. We only had about 150 guests and I wouldn't go over 160.
FOOD: Now on to the food. We had heard that Hendri's had good food, but we did not taste test beforehand. When choosing the menu for the evening, there were many items to pick from. Dan was very flexible and accommodated our preferences. Although I could not eat that night (because of my nerves going crazy), everyone LOVED the food. We chose the roast beef and chicken with white wine and capers for the meat. Our sides were, roasted red potatoes and sweet potatoes and broccoli, along with their house salad. We could not have been more pleased with the food. We did not have alcohol at our wedding so I cannot comment on the bar. However, we had soft drinks and the bar service was great.

STAFF AT HENDRI'S: Dan was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. There were times in which I was frustrated with him, just because of uncertainties he had; He just could not give me a straight up answer sometimes, but other than that it was a great experience. Mara was the one we worked with during our rehearsal and the wedding day and she was very accommodating to our needs. They also provided the flatware, glasses, table clothes, plates, and some of the table decorations. It was great to have a venue that provided the location, some decorations, and catering because it just made things so much easie

Hendri's was the smartest choice I made while planning my wedding. Dan was so helpful and helped make sure everything turned out just how we wanted. He had great suggestions and was super flexible. The staff was awesome and have gotten nothing but positive feedback about Hendri's. We loved it!

This food was AMAZING! My wife took care of the bulk of our planning, and went to a few tastings without me when I was out of town on business. But we both went to Hendri's for a tasting and immediately decided it was what we both wanted. Not only was the food great, but Dan was so nice! The whole experience was seamless. It was very nice to go ahead with our reception knowing that we didn't have to worry about the food! Do yourself a favor and contact Hendri's!

I am so happy that we went with Hendri's events. They were very professional, kind, and easy to talk to throughout our wedding planning. Dan and Maria are wonderful people. Their hard work and all of the love they put into their company really shows. The food was fantastic! Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the food was. Dan, you are great! I was referred to Hendri's by a friend and I am so happy we went with them. They catered our wedding at the Sheldon on September 7th and everything was perfect. They helped set up and break down our table décor. They were on the ball so to say. We had numerous remarks on how awesome the food was! Hendri's pricing is totally affordable and they can make anything you wish.

Hendri's was awesome to work with from beginning to end. Dan was professional and helpful without being pushy. I really felt like he wanted the reception to be a success as much as we did! The food was AMAZING with many guests saying it wasn't "typical wedding food"! The service was also fantastic, they served over 250 people in a little under 30 minutes, so no one was waiting very long at all and it moved very quickly!

The quality of their staff was also wonderful, they were attentive without being annoying and did their job seamlessly! Our event was at the Sheldon Concert Hall and they delivered and set up when they said they would and just did an amazing job! I highly recommend Dan and the staff at Hendri's - you won't be disappointed!

This place is amazing! Not only is the banquet room beautiful, but the owners go above and beyond to accommodate. We booked at Debonaire and they closed their doors without letting anyone know, so my search for a new venue was stressful and quick. It didn't take me long to have my stress releaved. We couldn't have asked for a better place!

Hendri's food is awesome! We hired them to cater our wedding at another even space. We had a heavy appetizer menu and I was really nervous about all my guest's feeling like the had eaten enough. Dan, the owner took care of everything and made me feel at ease about the menu. All of our guests commented on how great out selection was. Dan gave us all the suggestions and they worked great!

Hendri's was so great to work with. We wanted to go more of a brunch route for our wedding and Hendri's was able to work with all of our suggestions and things that we wanted to include in our brunch. It was amazing and I was so happy with the food quality and presentation. It was fantastic! They were also able to work with us on the grooms cake and building us a donut tower. My husband loves krispy kreme and they were able to bring those in as well as decorate the tower with little army men being that he's in the army. They went above and beyond what was asked up them! Thank you so much for everything! It was a perfect day!

If you are looking for amazing food and an amazing venue, look no more. Hendri's has a unique venue and the most amazing food I have ever had. Dan worked with me for over a year to plan my wedding and make sure it was perfect. The venue was PERFECT because I had a peacock themed wedding and they have a peacock wall (wallpaper, but very elegant and classy) I could not have asked for more everything was AMAZING!

Hendri's was an exceptional choice. They were very easy to work with and met exceeded every expectation we had. We had never tried the food and went on the word of them and a few others....... the food was excellent. We had so many people coming up to us telling us it was the best wedding food they have had! highly recommended!

Hendri's was the reception site for my daughter's wedding on 6/26/2010. Every detail was attended to and everything was perfect. I don't know how anyone could not love Hendri's. I could not have been more pleased, my reception at the Hendri's Banquets & Catering was remarkable, It was wonderful she helped us on every little detail, I relied on her expertise since i did not have a coordinator, everything turned out perfect.All of my out of town guests felt very welcome and comfortable during their stay. The food was delicious. We received many compliments from our guests on both the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. Arranging catering was done probably not as soon as ideal, but Hendri's handled it very well.

This is a great place for a reception. Lots of room, the chance to taste the menu and meet vendors and see the variety of choices available if not using any outside vendors. Choice of rooms for reception depending on size of group. Nice setting, nice rooms, friendly staff, good price for wedding block of rooms. I am so thankful that I chose them for our location. They continuously put my mind at ease & helped give me the wedding I had always dreamt of!

I absolutely loved working with Dan and Mara! They responded quickly to all of my phone calls and emails. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone having a reception in St. Louis!

We used Hendri's to cater our event at the Piper Palm House. The food was great and the price was unbelievable. We called numerous caterers that literally wanted 3 or 4 times what we paid. I did not have high expectations of the food, but I was totally pleased. The staff was fun, friendly, and helpful.

Henri's was great! The noodles were wonderful. Meat: roast beef and turkey. Green beans and potatoes. There was a salad and rolls and they even cut the cake. It was great!

Hendri's was an amazing place to have our reception!! One of the best features is that the only hold one event a night at their banquet center. You don't have to deal with competing receptions. The staff are all warm and friendly. We even got to pick our own combination for the pasta. Their banquet room is wonderful. They even have a fireplace that is perfect for pictures. The price is definately right. We looked at several vendors that only offered half the services for twice the price!!! Go to Hendri's. You won't regret it!!

We had a cocktail reception with 140 guests. Hedri's is the BEST. Just as so many other reviews say, the guests rave about the food, past brides and grooms will tell you that THEIR guests raved about the food, and their price cannot be beat. They even came up with a signature cocktail that everyone loved when all we said was "we like spiced rum." Dan was great with the planning and suggestions, and had I seen their beautiful event space before I signed a contract elsewhere, I probably would have had them handle the whole thing.

Everything came together wonderfully. I was disappointed that we couldn?t afford a chic place like WOW, but once everything came together I was so happy with it. There was nothing amiss and they did everything I asked for. Plus you can't beat the price. One thing that really pulled it together though was chair covers and table runners which they do not provide, otherwise the chairs are ugly. The food was yummy and everyone liked it. I also like the dance floor and it is very large.

Hendri's was a beautiful spot for our wedding reception. The food was amazing. Most of our guests said the best "wedding" food they have had. Dan and Mara are great to work with and are responsive to anything you need.

I was a pretty disorganized planner, and they were infinitely patient, had helpful suggestions, and were very flexible. And our guests raved about the food. But what I most want to say about them was that they made our wedding delightful for me by providing amazing service. The staff was fun to work with, went out of their way to be helpful. I did not have to stress about anything. Every detail was taken care of so that I got to enjoy it all worry free. That may have been the best wedding gift we got. Thank you, Hendri's.

We LOVED working with Hendri's. Since our wedding was on New Year's Eve we had some unusual requests (hang a big clock on the wall, confetti cannons, noisemakers) and they were great about all of them. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the value was amazing. They really went the extra mile to make sure we had everything the way we wanted without nickel and dime-ing the whole thing.

We used Hendri's for our wedding reception and it was great! We ended up doing a buffet, which I did not originally want to do, but the food was delicious. We had many compliments from guests about it! Leading up to the wedding, Dan was open to all of my ideas and allowed us to have multiple meetings to get things how we wanted them. The night of the wedding, Hendri's staff members were so helpful and attentive. They made sure my husband and I had enough food and drinks all night long!

Hendri's is a gem of a wedding reception venue in the heart of South City. From the outside of the building you don't get a great impression, but once you enter their banquet room, you are impressed. First, the black and white floor immediately sets the mood and provide a classic look. They also provide linens that play off the classy feel of this venue. What I enjoyed most about Hendri's is their menu selection. They have a wonderful menu and are willing to play with the ingredients to meet your needs. Furthermore, their bar offers a few microbrews, which just adds a unique touch to the venue. We had so many compliments about the food, which was so important to us! Overall, I would recommend Hendri's. You may bump into a few communication hoops, but our reception was beyond our expectations and definitely fit our needs.

All in one vendor success

Hendri’s was exactly what we were looking for! We considered many, many venues, and originally contacted Hendri’s for catering in a space we liked downtown. We didn’t even know Hendri’s had an event space. We asked for quotes for both off site catering and using their space and the price was not that much different. We did a venue tour and we were sold. The space is not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is gorgeous, beautiful dark wood, a fireplace, and a giant oak bar. Because of it’s “nowhere” location tucked away in a south city neighborhood they were also close to $3,000 less expensive than other venues we were considering. They worked with us on our non-traditional menu that had to feature brats and potato pancakes. They even sourced the brats from our favorite place, G&W Meats. Six months later people are still telling me how much they loved our food. This is an all-inclusive venue, they will set up, serve food, provide alcohol, let in your DJ, and clean up. They even boxed up all my centerpieces and let pick them up the following Thursday. We had a great experience and if we ever need to have another big event will consider Hendri’s first.

Hendri's food is amazing! Good wedding food can be a hard find, but our guests are still raving about Hendri's. I'll be honest, I wasn't too sure about them at first- we didn't get to choose our tasting menu (we did tastings about 9 months in advance) and it was good but not outstanding. However, I am definitely glad we went with them!

Dan is great to talk to on the phone. His experience in catering shows- he was able to help us plan our reception time line (we didn't have a professional dj) and advised us as to the hors d'ouevers. His advice was spot on. Our guests loved it all.

I am vegan and they were very accommodating. everything on the buffet except the meat was vegan. They also made an outstanding tempeh dish for myself and my other vegan friends.

My only complaint is that you have to make sure to follow up with them- phone calls were often ended with someone telling me they would call me in a few days or e-mail me and they rarely followed through on that, leaving me to call them. However, day of- everything was perfect.

We worked with Dan and he was polite and professional. Our only concern stemmed from the actual wedding day when the group showed up later than usual and our tables, linens, etc. were late getting setup. They finished right as I was walking down the aisle and my bridal party, mother and family were helping to setup right until the start.

My son and new daughter in law recently had their reception at Hendri's. The food is absolutely fabulous. The curb appeal of the front of the hall is not the best but once you get inside, the interior is so nice! Some of the unique touches are the fireplace, the corner sofa area & the 3 high top tables on the dance floor. All of these were used throughout the evening & commented on by guests! We met with Dan at the beginning; he is very easy to work with & very nice. He also had suggestions in the hall planning that we would not have thought of & used. Everything from start to finish was organized & followed through like we wanted. I will say on the negative side that communication varies. In phone calls with planning, we were not always able to speak to Dan, and things that were promised to be emailed were not quickly received, usually requiring a 2nd request. Myself, the bride & hall decorators met with Maura about 4 times at our request to talk about different areas or ideas. After the first meeting, we requested to meet with Dan but had to meet with Maura when we got there. Although very professional, Maura shows no emotion, does not smile, & comes across not interested. This was at the meetings before the wedding, during the set up, & throughout the reception (she was also one of the bartenders). I was asked 1 time during the evening how things were going by a gentleman from the back, not one comment from Maura or any of the other women serving or cleaning up. We paid for the extra hour of reception time and there were a lot of guests still there at the end. We left as soon as we could corral them out. Maura and her staff stood at the end of the bar waiting, not saying anything, while we packed up to leave. She did not ask if everything went ok, if we had a great time, thanks or goodbye! This was noticed by not only me, but about 15 other guests. I would only talk to Dan and request him to be there that night. Other than Maura, perfect night!

Hendri's was fantastic! They worked real well with me, especially in the beginning. Had a little bit of trouble getting in touch with them for final payment, but otherwise fantastic. Very affordable for everything you get.

Working with Dan was excellent. He did the samplings, planning, calls, and consultations with us. He was very professional and accommodating to work with. There was some bad information from another worker that met with us to show us the venue. She told us we could have a head table and that they would be able to bring the decorations, flowers, cake, and dessert with them. Upon finding out from Dan that this was not possible, we had to find someone quickly to fill that role. Otherwise, Dan gave so much excellent advise and was wonderful to work with. The food was delicious and guests asked where we got it from. We served a light lunch and it was perfect!

The food was great but everything felt very disorganized. We didn't get a final contract stating how much we were paying for everything, I was surprised by some things that happened at the reception because they were not discussed with us, we never received a receipt of payment, etc etc. If I could do it again I would go into more detail and get things in writing. Overall the service was great and the food was good, I just wish there had been a bit more organization.

Let me first start off by saying the reason a chose this venue is because I had attended a wedding here that was fabulous. My Mom is also friends with a man who is friends with Dan so that also gave me more confidence that we would have a wonderful reception. My husband and I had a great time the night of our wedding. I opted to have open seating with a few reserved tables for parents and grandparents. Tables were clearly marked reserved. None of the brides family were at those tables. Not one person. My mom MOB was in the back of the room. When I realized this that night the Hendri's representative I was expecting to oversee our event was not there. So, the night continued. I later found out guests left hungry, and with no cake. I gave away almost the entire display cake (700.00) the next day which is very upsetting and frustrating. We had 160+ guests, the buffet was out for an hour which leaves 22.5 seconds for each guest to get through the line which is just not enough time. Especially considering there are elderly guest who do not move quickly. I really feel like our day was neglected. None of the staff said hello or that they would be taking care of us since the Hendri's representative was unable to be there. Bar service was excellent, food was delicious, Every detail was set up perfectly and taken down. I would recommend Hendri's based on others experiences and the previous wedding I attended.

Communication is sketchy, however Dan is awesome to work with, his wife came up with a delicious chicken dish for us. Our head table was supposed to be served and not have to go through the line and they were also supposed to release each guest table to go get their food, this must of not been communicated... So I looked like the bridezilla when I asked who was the head caterer (there wasn't one) and that our head table was to be served... got some attitude after that... also had to get up and get the mic while eating to release my own guest tables!

Not the best communication with Hendri's, especially when it got down to the week before the wedding, when we needed it the most. Also had issues at the reception, they set up the wrong number of chairs at many tables and then later tried to say we added guests and charge us more money, when it was actually their error and they just didn't put out enough chairs. Food was delicious, just had some trouble with the behind the scenes stuff.
