Heather and her team made me the most beautiful I have ever been and made my wedding day even better! The trial allowed me to understand what works for me, and she was very understanding of what I liked and did not like. She is super easy going, flexible, and communicates well. The best beauty team!!

Heather Rea and her team were amazing!! My makeup and hair, and the makeup and hair for my seven bridesmaids, mob and mog looked so natural and beautiful. It lasted all night long.

But what was really special about Heather’s team was the vibe they created throughout the morning. Nothing was stressful, or rushed. The morning was calm, fun and so full of girlhood. We started our hair and makeup around 9 and were finished by 1!! They were truly the best. Would recommend in a heartbeat!!

Booking Heather Rea Style Studio for our wedding hair and makeup was one of the best vendor decisions we made. Heather, the owner, and her incredible team handled hair and makeup for myself and eight members of my bridal party, and they executed the entire morning flawlessly. The team was efficient (we didn't have to start until 10 AM!) while maintaining exceptional quality. They created a relaxed, fun environment, ensuring we stayed perfectly on schedule without ever feeling rushed.

Above all, the whole team is super talented. Every single person looked and felt stunning. Heather's team truly highlighted everyone's natural features and listened to their style preferences, and the makeup and hair lasted beautifully throughout the day and night. Overall Great Experience!

Both Maria (makeup) and Megan (hair) were absolutely amazing to work with for my September 2025 wedding. The process to book was seamless, even with my multiple changes in timeline and number of bridesmaids. I did a makeup and hair trial with both Maria and Megan that went great. They listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly. In my makeup trial, I noticed the foundation looked a little dry on me. I told Maria my concern and she was very receptive and even tried a few mitigating tactics. On the wedding day, she brought a foundation better suited for dry skin which worked perfectly! Both Maria and Megan were very professional, friendly, and efficient the day of the wedding, allowing us to finish all bridesmaids, mothers and me ahead of schedule. I, and my wedding party, were very happy with our services. I would 100% recommend Heather Rae Style Studio!

Beautiful!

Heather and her team made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I don’t usually wear makeup, and my hair doesn’t hold a style well, but they created a look that felt like me and lasted all day. In the past, my makeup has often been poorly color-matched, but Heather got it perfectly — even after I got a lot tanner between my trial and the wedding. My mom also had her hair and makeup done, and they did a wonderful job enhancing her features without overdoing it, so she still felt natural and like herself. I would definitely recommend this team to any bride!

I looked gorgeous

I worked with Heather for my hair and make up and also gifted the services for all my bridesmaids. Not only was Heather flexible in her scheduling (we had so many people getting services) but her pricing was incredibly reasonable. My make up was flawless. She truly listened to me when I said I wanted it to feel light but still visible. She didn’t force me to do something I didn’t want to do at all. My hair was amazing. It was SO windy, but my hair did not move an inch. This team was incredible and I highly recommend utilizing them, you will not be disappointed!!

Maria & Kristen Brought the Glam!

Maria did makeup and Kristen did hair for my October 2024 wedding in Frederick, MD. Both arrived on time fully prepared and brought the good vibes and fun! They effortlessly completed hair & makeup for my five bridesmaids and myself and did so flawlessly. They really put me at ease on my wedding day and I absolutely loved how the look turned out. My makeup was stunning, but didn’t hide/mask my face. As for my hair, Kristen was totally flexible when I changed my vision from what we had done at the trial. I can’t recommend Heather Rea Style Studio enough and it’s no surprise since two of my best friends used them for their weddings too. Chelsea was also the best communicator when it came to scheduling and Heather is great too — got to catch up with her during both my hair & makeup trials. It really does take a whole team — thank you!

Heather and Sarah were a dream. Both executed exactly what I wanted during the trial and made it absolutely breezy during my wedding day. My bridesmaids weren't sure how they wanted their hair and make, but Heather and Sarah made them beautiful and stunning. Really great job!

Fantastic hair & makeup!

I had a fantastic experience working with Heather and her team! I could not have been more thrilled with how my hair and makeup turned out for my wedding day. After my first hair trial didn't turn out as expected, Heather wasted no time finding me a new stylist who was better suited for the style I was looking for. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law also all loved how their hair and makeup turned out. I could not recommend them enough!

Highly Recommend!

My bridesmaids and I loved our hair and makeup for my wedding day! From the trial to the day of, everyone that we communicated with was very nice and professional. Myself, 6 bridesmaid, and 2 moms got their hair and makeup done, and somehow hair and makeup did run 30 minutes later than the contracted time even though everyone transitioned quickly, so I'm not sure what happened there, but we were still very happy with the service and quality of their work!

Looked and felt great all day long!

My bridal party and I loved working with Heather (makeup) and Sarah (hair)! I did a trial a few months before the wedding, and while it was a little tricky to schedule (partly because of constraints on my end), the trial went really well. I had a few notes that I wanted to debrief before wedding day, and Heather made herself available for a call to talk those over and set my mind at ease. On wedding day, they were right on time. They adjusted to my energy (I didn't sleep at all, and we had an early start time, so I was not exactly energetic!), and everything went SO smoothly. They built in plenty of extra time, so no one felt rushed, and we even finished a little early. Everyone looked amazing, and the hair and makeup held all day and night. They took all of the notes from the trial, and I'm so happy with the final look!

Amazing Experience!

The whole Heather Rea team was a dream to work with, from trial to wedding day. One of our hair stylists had to cancel last minute (for a very understandable reason) and despite this, the wedding day team was so efficient! We were all done ahead of schedule and everyone was very happy with how they looked. Not to mention, everyone's looks lasted the entire day despite wind and rain.

All around excellence!

From the beginning outreach to the wedding day, I felt like I was Heather’s longest client. Chelsea was extremely prompt and professional in her communication and expectations and was graceful when I had to reschedule or add last minute services. During my hair and makeup trial, Heather and Sara treated me like I was one of their friends and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I have SO much hair but Sara made sure it could all stay up for the whole day & night! They were so kind and perfected their work on my bridesmaids, mom & mother in law! They were great with my hesitant mom who never wears makeup or does her hair and helped her feel at ease!

Flawless hair and makeup experience!

We used Heather Rea Style Studio for our wedding in June 2023. Heather and Sarah traveled to our venue in Clarksburg, MD to provide makeup and hair services for myself (bride) and 7 wedding party members. I also booked a bridal trial a few months prior to the wedding. I brought inspiration photos to my trial, and Heather and Sarah were so helpful in narrowing down exactly what I was looking for, making it work with my features, and keeping notes to make sure it was recreated perfectly on my wedding day. On the morning of the wedding, they made my wedding party and I feel so comfortable and listened to what everyone wanted as well as any concerns they had. They also worked very efficiently and ran ahead of schedule, which made for a relaxed/unrushed morning. The pricing was reasonable (one thing to note: lashes were not included for the wedding party and were $30 extra; however anyone who wanted them was able to pay cash/venmo on the day of), and the studio was communicative throughout the planning process. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and my hair and makeup turned out great in photos and lasted all night (even in the hot and humid summer weather). I have recommended Heather Rea Style Studio to several friends planning weddings in the area!

Best wedding beauty team!

We had a wonderful experience hiring Heather and her team (Kira, Kristen, and Tori) for our wedding day! During my first phone call with Heather, she walked me through the process from booking to trial to the day of, and I felt instantly more at ease. I have only had my hair and makeup done a handful of times, and as someone who doesn't spend a lot of time or energy on these things in my daily life, Heather and Kira made things so simple for me!

I had a great trial, and Heather took my feedback on a different lip color and lightening the contouring when it felt like too much for me (again, not a makeup person), and I was SO pleased with final look! Kira helped me try out a braid--which solidified that I didn't want one on the day--and my wedding day hair was even more incredible than my trial!

The day of the wedding, the whole team helped create a laid back atmosphere. They were on time and ready to go, and we kept ahead of schedule all morning! When there was a small snafu with the parking situation, Heather handled it quietly with me, and we kept it moving. These ladies were efficient, kind, funny, and so very good at what they do! My entire bridal party, along with friends and family that joined us in the bridal suite, all commented on how wonderful they were to work with.

And after a long, full day with rain, wind, two hour-long bus rides, lots of tears, and wearing a cathedral-length veil, my hair and makeup still looking amazing nearly 12 hours later! I highly recommend Heather and her team for your wedding!!

Ahead of Schedule and Everyone Looked Stunning

I used Heather Rea for hair and makeup for our May wedding and I cannot begin to express how incredible my experience was.

Heather and her team were so responsive from the start. Right when I sent the contract back, she sent a detailed timeline so we could properly plan when we needed to arrive at the venue. I ended up needing to add someone for hair and once again Heather sent back a revised timeline within a couple of hours.

Everyone arrived on time and ready to go on the wedding day. Her team was so on the ball that we ended up finishing almost 30 minutes early! I had originally been a bit stressed out about time from other weddings I had been in but wow they were so fast! And everyone looked absolutely amazing! Everyone's hair and makeup lasted all day and night. That includes a lot of tears and an unfortunate rain incident.

We all loved them so much that my Maid of Honor will be using them for her wedding which is happening next May! I can't wait to work with them again!!

A great hair and make up experience!

Heather and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with! I don’t wear very much make up or do my hair on a day to day basis, and it was really important to me to still look like myself on my wedding day. The team absolutely NAILED it! I felt like a naturally glammed version of myself, and the make up for me (done by Heather) and my bridal party, mom, and mother in law looked awesome in the photos. Jessie did an amazing job with my hair as well, and worked with me to find a style that would complement the comb I bought and make me feel like me. I’d highly recommend the entire team!

Heather and team were great!

We had Heather for Makeup and she was awesome. The group was timely and even got done early to include touchups! Kristen and Sarah were there for hair and both did a fabulous job with the hair and touch ups before leaving. Everyone's hair turned out either exactly like the photos or even better than the photos. This team was fantastic to work with as not only were they on time, talented, and quick, they were super friendly and easy to talk to. Being able to chat with them was helpful to keep everyone relaxed and calm before the ceremony. They were great!!!!!!

Amazing Hair & Makeup Services

I had such an amazing experience with Heather and her team! She was responsive throughout the whole process and patient with me throughout all the changes I requested. My trial went so well - Heather did my makeup and absolutely nailed the look based off the inspo pick I showed her. The same goes for Sarah and my hair. I showed her several looks, and told her I would like to have a minimal amount of bobby pins, and no extensions, if possible. She was very honest and up front with me about which styles would look best, and we settled on a romantic, loose braid. The night before the wedding, Heather contacted me saying that one of the hair stylists unfortunately got the stomach flu and wouldn’t be able to make it for the services. She already had a plan in place on how to tackle the next morning, and it wasn’t a problem at all - we even finished a bit early! All my bridesmaids loved the team and how their hair/makeup turned out, and one is in the process of booking her for her own wedding next year. I can’t recommend her enough.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Heather and her team for our big day. I had 12 women who needed hair and makeup the morning of my wedding. Heather and team worked with me every step of the way to make sure we had a schedule that worked for my timeline and they were even able to get there earlier after I asked at the last minute. Heather is totally amazing. She did 3 bridesmaids, the bride, and both Mama’s makeup. She made us older ladies feel absolutely as stunning as the bride. Plus she drove all the way to Blue Mount Winery and Vineyard (our venue). Heather has a lovely demeanour, is incredibly calm, and very professional. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend both she and her hairstylist. It was money we’ll spent. Thank you so very much for using your God given talent and helping to make our day perfect.

Incredibly Flexible and Professional!

Heather Rea and her team were absolutely amazing. Not only were they able to make me and the various members of my bridal party who chose to use makeup or hair services look amazing but they were incredibly flexible so that when my mother-in-law needed their services at the last minute they were able to fit her into the schedule. I was so happy with the final product and Heather, who did makeup, and Kirsten, who did the hair, were both fantastic artists and kind and wonderful people. I highly recommend their services to anyone.

Great job!

We all loved our hair and makeup. It looked gorgeous and lasted all day, even through happy tears❤️. Cara and Kristin really listened and in the end made me look absolutely beautiful for the big day. They do have a minimum for the number of people being done per stylist/artist so just be aware.

Everyone was so happy and beautiful!

Heather and her team are the best! I followed Heather on Instagram and loved the looks she did and knew I had to get her for my wedding day. When I went for my trial, I found out I wasn’t actually going to have Heather but two members of her team (Morgan for makeup and Kristin for hair). This made me a little nervous at first as I had fallen in love with Heather’s style. Y’all, I feel so dumb for being nervous about it because they absolutely killed it! We ended up having 3 artists on the wedding day, Kristin, Morgan, and another Kristin. They ALL were incredible. Everyone was so happy with the way they looked! Seriously not one little complaint. I even strayed away from what we had previously done with my eye shadow at my trial after seeing a look Morgan did on one of my bridesmaids (I’m horribly indecisive) and she was totally cool with my change and knocked it out of the park. Not only were they amazing at what they do, but they were fun to be around and extremely personable. Seriously choose them, you will be so happy you did!

The very best artists in the business! Beautiful and natural!

So thankful to Heather and her team for helping make my girls and me look beautiful on my wedding day! Everyone looked glam, yet also natural. Nothing was "fake" or overdone.

I had alot of girls in my party, each wanted a different look and the team had some fabulous ideas! Additionally, I booked my trial too early, and ended up changing my vision for my own hair and makeup but Heather was super understanding and accommodating.

My hair and makeup was flawless and stayed in place 12+ yours. I HIGHLY recommend booking Heather and her stylists.

Fantastic make-up!

Morgan was my make-up artist for the wedding and she was amazing to work with! I needed a makeup artist last minute and Heather Rea Style Studio was able to fit me in. I wanted a natural look and was trying fake eyelashes for the first time; Morgan listened and delivered amazing work. She also provided makeup for MOB and MOG which were just as flawless. She is easy to get a long with and will not disappoint on the big day. Airbrush stayed on throughout the whole night (even on a blistering summer day). Highly recommend Heather Rea Style Studio for your special day!

Could not have asked for better!

I kid you not, every single bridesmaid/mother was so happy with their hair/makeup for our wedding. I know, you probably don't believe me because that NEVER happens - but I swear! Heather's team is a group of extremely professional women who are very good at what they do. We had up-dos, half-up half downs, pony tails; all different hair types and skin colors and everything was flawless. I cannot say enough good things about Heather and her team. They are worth every penny!

The ladies from Heather Rae Style Studio did AMAZING hair and makeup. Our stylists were Morgan, Sarah, Iris, and Jessie. Morgan and Sarah did my bridal makeup and hair and I was so happy with the end result. They listened to exactly what I wanted and I felt the prettiest I have ever felt because of them! Heather is amazing! She is super easy to communicate with, organized, and so friendly! I had to reschedule my wedding due to COVID and Heather was super flexible and helpful in securing the new date. When I had my wedding trial she totally nailed what I was looking for with my makeup. As someone who doesn’t wear a lot, I wanted to look “natural” on my wedding day but obviously look way better than I normally do. Heather did the perfect job making me look amazing but effortless at the same time! The day of my wedding her and her team were on time and kept everything ahead of schedule. Stunning and Grace

Heather and her team are simply amazing! I cannot find all of the words to thank them for all of the work that they did for our wedding on 11.01.19. I was nervous because there were 9 people in all that needed both hair and makeup done (bridesmaid, bride, and mothers), but Heather assured me throughout the booking process that she was confident that we’d all get done when we needed to be done. Her flexibility was amazing and her communication was even more than I had hoped since I am an out of town bride. Heather and her team were rock stars in my eyes! They finished us up with time to spare and we all looked like serious superstars. Our hair and makeup stayed put throughout the entire wedding day, which is saying something since some girls were done by 10am, and all of the girls talked to all my ladies throughout the day checking on hair hold and makeup. Needless to say, I would not recommend anyone else besides Heather and her team!

Iris was wonderful!

Iris did my makeup on my October 19, 2019 wedding day. She came to my moms house and not only did she do a great job she also was fun to have around and didn’t mind my silly/crazy bridesmaids. My 2 sisters don’t usually wear much makeup so they were worried they would feel too done up. They loved their makeup and even though they had airbrush and all the makeup on they still felt natural. Iris was so patient with me (as I changed the look after my first trial). I wanted to be beautiful for my wedding day and iris delivered! Thank you iris for making me a beautiful bride!

Beautiful work

Heather Rea Style Studio did amazing work for my wedding! They made my bridal party and I look so beautiful. Each one of us had different skin tones, hair lengths and textures and they worked with them all flawlessly. My hair and makeup stayed in place all day/night long even with an outdoor August ceremony and lots of dancing! They were also flexible and worked on site in my hotel room since I wasn't able to get into the venue until 12pm. They also worked in enough buffer time that we were ahead of schedule that morning which was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them for your hair/makeup needs!!

Gorgeous make up!

Heather and her team were amazing - their work is very natural looking, but with enough pop for a special event. They did 9 women's make up in my bridal party and somehow stayed AHEAD of schedule!!! Heather was super responsive over email leading up to the wedding, and included a trial, which I would highly recommend doing for any bride. She was super flexible, which made coordinating times with my bridal party and my hair stylist a breeze. I highly recommend Heather and her team!

Beautiful Makeup!

Heather was wonderful to work with for our wedding! After having my makeup done by Heather while a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding, I knew she would be perfect for mine. Plus, she is incredibly reasonably priced! Heather was always very responsive to emails and questions. She let my mom, who was nervous about how she would look, come in for a trial with me. She was able to find the perfect look for both of us, even though we did not have a good idea of what we wanted. She took the little we said, and somehow knew exactly what we meant! Heather was also very flexible when I asked to add additional bridesmaids to the schedule. On the day of, Heather and her team were wonderful and everyone's makeup was perfect! There's no one better.

Prior to my wedding, I had never allowed another individual to do my makeup. Not once. I was incredibly apprehensive about the entire experience, but just a few moments into my trial I was completely ecstatic. Heather is an incredible make-up artist. She was able to complete flawless looks for myself, and my three completely different bridesmaids. She was so accommodating to everyone's concerns and put us all at ease. Because airbrush is her standard, you can't beat the value. And our hair stylist was so personable and detailed. Everyone's hair was just perfect. They were even early and had extra time built in for any mishaps, had their been any. I can't recommend them enough!

Beautiful bridal up-do’s!!

The ladies from Heather Rae that styled hair for my daughters wedding were wonderful. The 2 stylists arrived promptly at our hotel and started creating beautiful up-do’s and also long beautiful curls on some of the bridesmaids. Jessie styled my daughters up-do and it was perfect compliment to her wedding dress and veil. My mother of the bride hair was great and all the girls hair was lovely. Beautiful natural wedding look

Heather and her team made me and my wedding party look absolutely amazing. I was interested in a flawless natural look that would wear well over the course of 10 hours in the humidity of Baltimore City, and Joanie's work surpassed expectations! My makeup trial with Joanie really helped clarify the look I wanted, so doing my makeup on the day of my wedding ended up being the smoothest possible process. All of my bridesmaids were thrilled with their looks, and none of us had to touch up anything other than lip color over the course of the evening. Look Like A Star on Your Big Day!

Amazing Wedding Make up

I didn't even know if I really wanted my make up done for my wedding because I usually don't wear much. I decided to do a trial with Heather just to make sure and I was completely sold. Heather really paid attention to what I wanted my make up to look like and made me feel incredible. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law also loved having their make up done. We were all sad the next morning when Heather wasn't there to due our make up for brunch. Heather is amazing and the make up lasts all night and feels light (like you aren't wearing any).

Perfect bridal hair and makeup!

I cannot thank Heather and Jessie enough for making me feel like such a beautiful bride on my wedding day! I had trials for both hair and makeup which were so much fun, and both Heather and Jessie took their time tweaking minor things, trying out different color lipsticks, etc. I have been dealing with skin issues on and off for the last few years, and the airbrush foundation technique that Heather uses made my skin look flawless.

On the wedding day, Heather provided me with a touch-up kit that came in handy all day and night. I am not typically a lipstick or lip gloss wearer, but I have used both multiple times since the wedding!

I highly recommend using Heather Rea Style Studio for your bridal and wedding party hair and makeup. You truly get your money's worth!

Heather and her team are amazing. While at my trial I shared my skin troubles with Heather and as a Rodan Fields rep she suggested I buy a line she thought would help. She sold it to me in such a zero pressure, no strings attached manner that showed she genuinely cared about how I felt on my wedding day rather then just making a sale. I bought it & it definitely helped!

After my first trial I decided I didn’t like the look I had first chosen and requested a 2nd trial. Not only did Heather immediately say yes but she scheduled a phone call with me where we talked about what I liked, what I didn’t like and what “feel” I was going for. She had tons of suggestions and changes we could make to make me happy & I felt 100% confident my next trial would be perfect and it was!

Actual game day (wedding) went flawlessly thanks to the detailed schedule, talent & professionalism of not just Heather but Casey, Sarah & Debbie! Everyone looked beautiful and loved getting done up all morning. It was so much fun!

I’m not going to lie- I was hesitant at first to use Heather based on pricing and not having any previous experience using her but I was beyond pleased with her work. As a matter of fact, after using her and seeing her work in person I’d have paid more to make sure I had her do my makeup on my wedding day. Heather Rea and Catherine were absolutely amazing, and a pleasure to work with for my wedding. We were talking, laughing, crying, and listening to music the whole time. They did hair and makeup for myself, my mother, and my two sisters. At my venue, we could not get into the bridal suite (where I wanted to get ready for prettier photos) until just a few hours before my ceremony. So, Heather Rea and Catherine set up in a different location, working with my sisters first. When the time came that we could get into the bridal suite, they broke down all of their stuff, moved upstairs, and set it all up again so the professional photos of me and my mom getting ready could be done where I wanted them. I felt like that was just the nicest thing they could have done. In the end, everyone was incredibly happy with both their hair and makeup. We all looked, and felt, stunning. Everything the two of them did for me made it so easy to just relax and enjoy myself with my family before the ceremony!

Heather is the BEST!!! She was recommended to me by a friend who used her at her wedding and when I went to the trial, I knew right away that she was the one for my wedding too. She listened to what my regular makeup style was like and matched my makeup to my metallic/neutral color scheme for the wedding. Throughout the process, she was great at communicating with me and setting up a schedule for getting ready that worked out perfectly for us. She brought a second makeup artist to accommodate the 10 women getting makeup done so that the process went smoothly and quickly, but with each person still getting at least 45 minutes. We all did the airbrush and we looked FLAWLESS! I got so many compliments on my makeup and I have never felt more beautiful. On top of it all, Heather is just so sweet and a pleasure to have around on your wedding day.

Heather was amazing to work with start to finish. She is so sweet and friendly and she was so flexible with everything from booking to the wedding day (including quite a few shuffles and additions and changes so really thank you Heather). Her makeup on me and my girls was PERFECT. She is truly and artist! Her team is wonderful as well. My hair looked beautiful (until I jumped around and danced too hard and it fell out but that was totally my bad!!) and everything was well worth the price. I highly recommend Heather and her team!

Heather is the definition of star wedding vendor. She's completely professional, and her friendly, calm manner is so wonderful while dealing with other stresses that come up during weddings. I've worked with her for two different weddings, and her work is just amazing. Everyone loved their makeup, and what could have been an anxious time getting ready was more like a spa experience with Heather and her lovely staff.

Working with Heather for the hair & make-up trial and for the wedding day was great. She was very responsive to emails and did an awesome job with my make-up. She created the schedule and I was able to plug in the different bridal party members into their time slots. Her team was very receptive to each bridal parties requests for hair and make-up and everyone looked beautiful. I was also able to purchase my lipstick for the wedding from Heather.

I had the pleasure of meeting Heather in college, so when my husband and I were engaged, it was a no-brainer that Heather would be the one to do my makeup. Heather was so patient and flexible throughout the entire process. When I had my trial, I had done no research about what I would like my makeup to look like on my wedding day. After asking a few questions about theme and color, Heather came up with a great look. If there was something I didn't quite like, she had solutions to change it into something I would like. Heather was so kind leading up to the big day. I think I changed her arrival time and place about three or four times, but she always responded pleasantly and never made fuss. On wedding day, Heather arrived at the salon before my bridesmaids and I did and was set up and ready to go. She made every one of my bridesmaids look beautiful. I absolutely loved how well she applied my makeup. The trial makeup looked great, so I could not believe my eyes when I saw how amazing she did the day of. I felt the most beautiful that day. Through tears, hugs, sweating, and dancing, my makeup stayed in place. After the party was over, more than twelve hours later, my makeup looked as great as it did when Heather first applied it. I highly recommend hiring Heather!

I worked with Heather Rea Style Studio for my wedding on October 21, 2016 and couldn't be happier with how the make up turned out! Heather was very responsive from initial booking to day of. She made scheduling my initial consultation a breeze and was there the whole time with the make-up artist. Iris did my make-up for the trial and day of, and she had Joanie there to help her out since we have 6 bridesmaids plus me. They both did a great job! All the bridesmaids were SO impressed with how beautiful the makeup turned out, and loved having the airbrush makeup option! We all did the airbrush makeup and it stayed on all night and looked great! On top of the make-up looking fabulous they were so fun to work with! It can be crazy having a bride and 6 bridesmaids all getting ready in the same room and they made it so easy and stress free. They stuck to the timeline and had everyone ready with more than enough time for photos. I highly recommend Heather and her team! We couldn't have asked for a better make-up team!

Heather is absolutely fabulous! She has such a great personality that puts you at ease and makes getting your makeup done so much fun! I had Heather and one of her hairstylists do my hair and makeup for a boudoir photo shoot and they made me feel so confident! I also had Heather make jewelry for my wedding, I showed her a picture and she made it so much better! I also customized my bridesmaid jewelry through her! I can't wait until they see them!! Heather was absolutely amazing to work with! I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in two other weddings where she completed the make-up. Leading up to the wedding Heather would send me occasional emails to check-in and remind me any last minute decisions I needed to let her know about. Day-of, Heather called to let us know when she would be arriving and came in and set up super fast. She kept us all on schedule, and listened to what it was that the girls wanted for their make-up. The airbrushing was wonderful and we all looked perfect throughout the end of the night. Also, it has to be said that Heather's lip colors are amazing, and the one I wore for my wedding may be my new favorite! I'm so glad I went with the touch-up kit so that I could have it. If anyone is looking for an amazing, easy to work with Make-Up Artist for their wedding, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Heather! I would recommend her to every bride!!

I worked with Heather Rea Style Studio for my August 27, 2016 wedding and couldn't be happier with how the hair and makeup turned out. Heather was very organized, responsive, and accommodating. Heather was the makeup artist and all of my bridesmaids were SO impressed with how beautiful the makeup turned out. The airbrush makeup was very natural looking and stayed on all night. It also looked so great in the photos. Jayme was our hair stylist and I can't say enough good things about how the hair turned out. All of my bridesmaids chose a similar hairstyle which made the process of them getting ready very efficient, and she was so patient and wonderful to work with! We couldn't have asked for a better hair and makeup team!

Heather herself was unavailable on our wedding day (late May), but she recommended Iris, who had recently started working with her. I was apprehensive at first since I knew nothing about Iris and her work, but after Heather's pitch on her and the makeup trial, it was clear I had nothing to worry about. I was so excited when I left my trial!

I can't say this enough: Iris did an AMAZING job. Not only did I look gorgeous, so did everyone who got their makeup done by her. My stepmom still raves about how great she was (both her work and her professionalism). I highly recommend Iris (and Heather too!) to any bride. You will not be disappointed.

Regarding logistics, Heather handled everything (scheduling etc.) and was very flexible about adding people last minute.

Heather was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was complimenting me throughout the evening on my makeup. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup but she did it make beautiful. She also made the earrings for my bridesmaids (she has an Etsy store) and arranged someone to do our hair too. Highly recommend Heather for your wedding!

Heather was recommended by my wedding planner and she did an incredible job with makeup and hair for my wedding. I absolutely loved how my makeup looked - beautiful but still natural, and the airbrush makeup is seriously a miracle invention when you know it's going to be a long, hot day but you want to look great for every minute of it. My bridesmaids also looked awesome. There was sort of a snafu a couple of weeks before my wedding because the employee who was supposed to do my hair suddenly wasn't working with Heather anymore (I don't know why), but when Heather called me to tell me she had already identified a new hairstylist and offered to cover the cost of a hair trial with the new stylist. I was very impressed with how she handled the situation.

Heather did a fantastic job - I was thrilled with how my makeup turned out on both my trial run and the actual wedding day!! I loved getting airbrush makeup and the fact that my entire face was waterproof. I loved her lip colors (her own line!), and purchased some for touch ups (and to wear in the future to remind me of my wedding day!). She's also so sweet, really listened to what I wanted, and was super organized in creating the schedule. Not to mention the fact that she's amazing at what she does! After my trial run with her a few months before the wedding, I had my bridal portraits done with my photographer and was SO happy with how well everything photographed. The day of, she did makeup for my mom, the groom's mom, my matron of honor, and several of my girls. When 2 of the bridesmaids expressed concern with certain parts of their makeup, she immediately changed what they didn't like and everyone was so happy with their end results. The pictures look so beautiful, and most importantly, she made me feel stunning on my wedding day!

I LOVED working with Heather throughout the planning process! She was always available by e-mail or text throughout the process. She is very organized and makes a timeline for the day of the wedding.When the schedule needed to be changed, it wasn't a problem. I LOVED the makeup the day of my wedding and so did all the girls in my wedding party. She is great at making a bride have a natural but beautiful look. My mother and mother in law also loved their makeup the day of the wedding! Last minute one of my bridesmaid wanted to have her eyes done the day of the wedding and it wasn't a problem at all.

Not to mention she designs her own jewelry. The girls and I wore earrings she designed the day of the wedding. The earrings made great bridesmaid gifts!

I highly recommend her and her team for any wedding party!

Heather and her team did my makeup and hair for my wedding. She was professional, helpful, and kind, and truly made the experience stress free for me. Before the wedding, she was willing to answer tons of questions and schedule multiple trials. On the day of, she arrived on time, stayed ahead of schedule, and her presence just made me feel completely at ease!!! Our makeup was beautiful and looked even better in pictures. It stayed on the whole night despite lots of happy tears. Heather also airbrushed my (almost) permanent tan lines, which was a HUGE relief. I would recommend her without hesitation, I think she is amazing!

Heather is incredible. She made everyone look absolutely stunning, including my mom, who always wears minimal makeup. She made my mom look beautiful, but didn't over do it so she felt comfortable. My make up was perfect - literally flawless. She picks all the right colors to compliment your skin tone, eye color, etc. The bridesmaids all had a little different look, but similar enough that we all went together. The products she uses last all day and look great in pictures. On top of that, she is so fun. She's totally someone you can feel comfortable having around on your big day. I 100% recommend booking Heather, you will not be disappointed.

I worked with Heather, Tania, and Terra for my wedding on May 1. They did a beautiful job with my wedding hair and makeup. Heather did my makeup and listened to exactly what I wanted- I don’t wear much makeup and she made my makeup so natural looking. Tania did my hair and just like Heather, listened to exactly what I wanted and was a pleasure to work with.
Despite the 5am start time in the pouring rain, Heather and the ladies arrived early and were cheerful and enthusiastic. I was very nervous, but they made everything stress-free and calm. They were all punctual (not just on time, but early!), professional, and so sweet and funny! They stuck to the schedule (in fact they finished early) and went above and beyond to make things easier for me- Heather let me add in a last minute makeup for my sister-in-law and Terra even went to my groom's room to fix his hair and check if he shaved :) I am so appreciative and 100% happy with their service.

Heather Rea and Iris were wonderful in squeezing me in last minute for a make up consultation about a month and a half before my wedding! I knew it was last minute, but I was not satisfied with the one make up trial I had already had. I first heard of Heather Rea Style Studio through my wedding florist, Blossom and Basket Boutique, so I decided to chance it and see if they were available! Iris did my make up perfectly to my exact ideals! I even got compliments that she should do my make up all the time! :) She also accommodated my two sisters-in-law and one of my bridesmaids who were super happy with their make up the day of the wedding! The lip gloss came in handy for one of my sister-in-laws when she had nothing but that in her purse and needed to look beautiful ASAP! :) Thank you again, Heather and Iris, for being so wonderful and accommodating! I would highly recommend this studio for wedding make up! :)

I cannot be happier that I went with Heather for our wedding-day makeup. Heather did such a fantastic job and everyone looked so beautiful. Heather was able to do our makeup in a way that looked stunning in photos, lasted through out the night, but still didn't look too caked-on or fake. Heather did 6 people's makeup and she showed up right on time, stuck to the schedule and got all the girls done with time to spare. Heather did a great job and helped to make the morning stress-free! I would recommend her for anyone's wedding without hesitation.

I went for my makeup trial with Heather on 3/9/16 and absolutely knew I had to book her for my wedding day! She understood the look I was going for and executed it well! She's easy to work with, she's professional, and the quality of her work is outstanding! Our wedding isn't until 8/19/16 but I wanted to use her services for my engagement photos as well. She was already booked that day with another event but sent a member of her team Iris to work with me and it was so seamless. Iris knew exactly the look I was going for and was able to execute a similar look to the one I had done on my trial date with Heather. I was so happy with Iris' work. They both made me feel like a million bucks!

I would highly recommend Heather and her team to anyone in the Baltimore area to use her services. You will be glad you did!

Heather and Victoria were INCREDIBLE!!! I was so nervous about doing professional hair and makeup and I feel absolutely silly for feeling that way now!
We did a trial with Heather and Victoria in November. When they came to do hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom, in March she remembered everything we had discussed back in November! She was absolutely professional and courteous (also hilarious with her jokes!).
The night before the wedding, I panicked a little because I had not left enough time for Getting Ready pictures (or to get dressed for that matter...) I told Heather and Victoria and they said that they would do all they could, and actually ended up finishing an hour ahead of schedule!
Heather and Victoria were incredibly talented! We showed them one picture to work off of for the bridesmaids, they glanced at it and then made it perfect to fit each of my (very unique) bridesmaids! They all looked STUNNING, individualized, but still uniform! And that is not saying anything about my hair and makeup! I have never felt more beautiful in my whole life! Everything was perfect, and I didn't even have to touch up my makeup throughout the night! I asked her to make my eyes pop a bit more, and she knew exactly what to do.
I cannot recommend these ladies enough. Absolutely incredible.

I worked with Heather Rae and her style studio for my recent wedding (3/5/16) and am extremely pleased with the entire process! We had a lot of girls getting their hair and makeup done on site (6 girls for makeup, 8 girls for hair) and EVERYONE was pleased with their results - that says a lot about the team's ability to listen to what you want and make it happen! They created gorgeous hair styles that lasted all night and everyone's makeup photographed beautifully well into the after party. Also, they respond to emails in a timely manner and are just so FUN to work with. On the day of your wedding, you want to relax and have someone monitor your timeline on your behalf, and that is exactly what Heather does. She makes a timeline well before your big day and executes seamlessly! They also bring lots of positive energy and calm which is a wonderful addition to anyone's wedding morning. Cannot recommend this vendor highly enough.

Heather is amazing! I don't wear much makeup on a regular basis and was a little worried that wedding makeup might look too heavy, but Heather applied just the right amount of makeup that I felt beautiful and comfortable all day long! She did the makeup for my bridal party as well and they all looked absolutely amazing. Heather is such a joy to work with - incredibly professional, responsive, and fun. I was at ease on my wedding day knowing that I was in such good hands with Heather. Highly recommend!!

Heather did my make-up for my wedding as well as my bridal party, mother of the groom, and mother of the bride. Everyone's make-up looked so beautiful and natural. During my trial Heather helped pick out the colors that worked best for me and listened/responded when I requested something be different...thus making the wedding day worry free. Heather provided me with a timeline prior the wedding with arrival time and clean-up time as a requested. She was on-time (even early) the day of the wedding and was right on schedule finishing everyone with time to spare. I received countless complements from everyone at the wedding! I would 100% recommend her services to any bride!

Heather and Tania were the PERFECT hair/makeup team to work with for my wedding. Heather was responsive throughout the planning process, personable, professional, and talented. They are very reasonable priced, do very high quality/professional work, and are genuinely lovely people.

As the bride, I could not have loved my look more – Heather and Tania both really listened to what I wanted and made suggestions that complemented me and my dress. I felt amazing and got many compliments on hair + makeup all night. They also did a gorgeous job on all of my bridesmaids, and were well ahead of schedule even though we had 8 people getting ready. We had a great time working with them and enjoyed hanging out with them throughout the day. Will definitely use them again for any future events!

Heather did an AMAZING job on my make up, my bridesmaids, and mom! She is extremely affordable for the D.C. area but her work is not compromised at all. I want to start off by saying that Heather was a absolute pleasure to work with! She was so professional and extremely accommodating to my wedding party and what they wanted. Heather was amazing from start to finish, all the way from the consult to the end of the wedding. She did an absolutely GORGEOUS job on my make-up, as well as my brides-maids and Mom.
