If you want to have a person work with you, respond to you and be there for you Kelly is the person. She has a professional team that couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful in every aspect of the Planning and the actual week-end of the event. As the Mother of the Bride , she helped our daughter and fiancée plan the most fabulous and relaxing wedding. We received many compliments on the food and service provided by the Resort. -

We planned our wedding from across the country and it was perfect thank you to the friendly, responsive and dedicated staff. Many of our friends/family have said they would recommend this location to others as well. -

Megan Sent on 09/23/2008I was so thrilled with the level of service and care we were given at the Hawk.
I wish I could do the whole wedding weekend all over again.
It was truly such a special event and we heard from so many of our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to..
And we feel the same ( I know I am biased because I am the bride.. but truly it was a very unique special and personalized event)..
I get so excited just thinking back about our wedding celebration.. It was more than we could have ever imagined. The Hawk staff are special people. A great example of this was a staff member built us a spectacular birch arbor the day of our ceremony so I could have some shade from the sun.. It was gorgeous.. The tent decor was EXACTLY like I had asked them to set it up..
No disappointments and No complaints.. I am so happy that I found the Hawk while driving down a beautiful Vermont road one summery day.. It is a place like no other. Nestled into a beautiful valley surrounded by towering green hills.. Its like a special magical fairytale of a spot.. I know it sounds cheesy.. but if you visit the Hawk... I assure you.. you will feel it too.. -

As soon as we stepped onto the grounds at Hawk, we knew it was the place for us, but we never could have imagined how amazing of a weekend they would have helped us create for our friends and family. The entire staff at Hawk goes above and beyond - it's difficult even to describe. We hosted over 200 people for an entire weekend of activities (from bbq the night before, to activities all day Saturday, the wedding and party Saturday night, and brunch on Sunday), and they executed everything so well and at such a reasonable cost for so many people.
Some of the high points were the confident planning and execution of the weekend by Jessica and Kelly - all of which was done in such a relaxed manner that it's almost a bit surprising how every detail comes together perfectly - the meal planning with Marc and Steve, who love their jobs; enjoying the spa and Judy the weekend of the wedding; and spending time with the rest of the staff, each of whom is a true pleasure. The entire staff at Hawk pours joy into their weddings. We felt - and our families and friends felt - this joy, and it made the weekend just magical. -
User1022883 Sent on 11/21/2012We hosted 170 people at Hawk for our June wedding, filling the entire Inn and taking advantage of a few rental villas as well. Hawk was the perfect venue for us as it met the following criteria: (1) all wedding events from the Welcome BBQ to Sunday brunch could take place on the same property, (2) the vast majority of our guests could stay directly the property, and (3) we were the only wedding taking place during the weekend and the site fee gave us use of the inn for the entire weekend (no 6 hour limits like other venues). Natalie came on as wedding coordinator months after we had booked the venue, but the transition was seamless and she was very responsive to emails during planning and contributed great ideas. I brought a lot of DIY details for both the Welcome BBQ and reception and left them in Natalie and the staff's hands to set up each event. She executed my vision better than I ever could have expected and both the BBQ and reception tent came together beautifully. The food also exceeded our expectations and many guests complimented the food, which was served buffet style. During menu planning they really encouraged us to make special requests and diverge from their "sample" menu. We also wanted to accommodate our vegan guests, which was no problem at all for the chef. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and we knew many of them by name by the end of the weekend. Many of our guests commented how Hawk's staff was not afraid to jump in wherever something needed to be done, and they would see the same people helping out with various services throughout the weekend. We luckily got great weather, and people were able to take advantage of the many outdoor activities Hawk offers such as kayaking, hiking, and biking. One of the best things about Hawk is the ability to customize your weekend, and we feel like our wedding was truly unique and one that our guests will remember for some time!
