  Dream wedding

  Lois is amazing! Professional, patient and very kind. The garden is gorgeous! It felt so serene and intimate! The flowers, the greenery really added to the positive vibes we felt! Lois made our special day one to remember

  Absolutely Beautiful

  We have nothing but amazing things to say about Harmony Gardens!! Lois took our wedding to the next level, by making it very personal and about us and what we wanted. If you are looking for a small wedding, Harmony Gardens is the perfect place. We really couldn't have asked for anyone better to do our ceremony and there wasn't a thing that we would have changed!!

  Beautiful place and a wonderful ceremony!

  This is an amazing place to have a small intimate ceremony. Everything was perfect and Lois was so accommodating. She conducted such a good ceremony and went above and beyond! We had a rainy day but they have a beautiful covered gazebo. She even helped me clean my wedding dress after I got mud on it! ❤️ I highly recommend using her services! Thanks again Lois!

  Couldn't ask for a better wedding venue

  Beautiful venue, absolutely perfect for my small wedding. The pictures online were beautiful, but somehow the garden was even more gorgeous in person. Cannot recommend enough!

  Beautiful fall elopement

  We booked harmony gardens for our Fall elopement and we could not be more pleased. The gardens and grounds are stunning and made for gorgeous photos (thank you Mackey photography). The flowers, trees, pond and scenery will set the stage for a perfect wedding. But I must say, the best part of this venue is Lois!!! She was a kind beautiful soul who fulfilled our last minute wedding day needs. She really makes you feel welcome and at home. Highly recommend. If you’re lucky her dogs will visit your photo shoot! Perfection

  Natural beauty for a smaller ceremony.

  We went against the grain and had an outdoor ceremony in the middle of January - and yes it snowed on our wedding day! The pictures of Harmony gardens do not do it justice. Lois and her husband have created a truly beautiful and natural venue for the non-traditional couple. While most couples enjoy the gardens in the warmer months we had the pleasure of a beautifully intimate ceremony on a dark, quiet, snowy evening with a group of our closest friends and family. The ceremony took place under their rustic wooden pavilion, which is softly lit and is paved with stone, to keep everyone covered due to the precipitation. I very honestly cannot recommend this location enough for a smaller wedding.

  We got married on 8/6/16 and cannot say enough about how perfect Harmony Gardens and Lois Heckman were for our wedding. We had a small wedding of 33 guests including myself and my fiancé and for months we were searching for the right venue with much frustration. Most other wedding venues were too expensive or simply did not cater to small weddings at all. Then we found Harmony Gardens and fell in love with it right away. The garden itself is amazingly beautiful with plenty of spots for gorgeous pictures and an atmosphere of love and joy sown right into the soil! You can trust the pictures you see above! It really does look just like that, no other decorations needed! Their friendly springer spaniels are a lovely bonus!
  
  Of course for us the most important part of the wedding was the actual content of the ceremony. We wanted a meaningful ceremony that really reflected who we are as a couple and Lois did this for us beautifully. She is very professional and knowledgeable, making it easy for us to choose the elements we wanted to include in our ceremony. She was also highly responsive during the planning often times answering emails within the hour or less. Her flexibiliy helped keep everything moving along smoothly on the wedding day.

  Lois Heckman and Harmony Gardens gave us the perfect wedding day! I don't think my husband and I can say enough great things about our experience as everything exceeded our expectations. The venue was perfect for us and exactly what we wanted. We especially loved the pavilion for the ceremony and the garden for photos. We really enjoy country rustic venues and the pavilion was just that for us! Our families enjoyed themselves as well and especially liked Lois' laid back personality.   Harmony Gardens is a beautiful spot. A calm and peaceful landscape for your ceremony.
  My guests compared it to the Garden of Eden.
  No decorating is necessary. Mother Nature has done all the work. There are flowers in bloom and lovely greenery everywhere.

  Just what we wanted. The gardens were well manicured. Quiet and out of the way. Excellent photo areas. The character and charm of the landscape, added to the big moment. It was more than what either one of us expected. The grounds seem to be well equip for weather, as well as quantity of people. I would recommend not only experiencing the grounds for that special day, but to enjoy the professional yet "just like home" feel that Lois can give.

  My husband and I fell in love with Harmony Gardens as soon as we saw it. It was so peaceful, a beautiful location. The time and effort to maintain does not go unnoticed as soon as you get there. It was absolutely perfect for us, highly recommend! !

  Lois Heckman was an incredible light in our wedding. She was available short term on the day of our wedding. My now wife and I called Lois on the morning of Aug 2nd and she did not hesitate to marry us that same day. Lois prepared personal and meaningful vows for us to recite. The site itself was extraordinary. Harmony gardens is a magical, peaceful, and perfect place for two people to unite their love. I cannot express how thankful we were for Lois and the service that she provides. We highly recommend her!

  We were married on June 20th in Harmony Gardens in a beautiful and intimate late afternoon ceremony. Lois Heckman, our officiant and owner of Harmony Gardens, graciously opened the space for us and our families. The gardens are pristine and meticulously kept and the beautiful arch and alter rock where she performed our ceremony were stunning. She thoughtfully arranged the chairs for our fourteen guest in a lovely semi-circle and performed our ceremony with all of us facing our guests. She created an experience in the garden that was elegant, warm and inclusive for everyone that day. If you are considering getting married in this beautiful setting, you will be very, very happy with your decision.

  Harmony Gardens is a lovely setting for a wedding. Serene, beautiful, calming, perfect! We couldn't be any happier with our decision to have our wedding there. In addition, the gardens come with Lois, who is fantastic. From our first contact with Lois through to our ceremony, she was wonderful. We wanted an intimate and memorable ceremony, and I honestly can't imagine that our ceremony could have been any better. Lois worked with us to create something that really reflected us and our relationship. It was a stress free, amazing, happy day. Lois, we cannot thank you enough!
  
  An extra tip for couples: if you are getting married at Harmony Gardens and are looking for a photographer, we were incredibly pleased with Garth Woods. Lois has his information on her website.

  Harmony Gardens is a lovely setting for a wedding. Serene, beautiful, calming, perfect! We couldn't be any happier with our decision to have our wedding there. In addition, the gardens come with Lois, who is fantastic. From our first contact with Lois through to our ceremony, she was wonderful. We wanted an intimate and memorable ceremony, and I honestly can't imagine that our ceremony could have been any better. Lois worked with us to create something that really reflected us and our relationship. It was a stress free, amazing, happy day. Lois, we cannot thank you enough!

  Our wedding was unique, beautiful, breathtaking, personalized, etc etc. Lois was a great pleasure to work with. Worry free. The ceremony site is awesome for picture sake, not to mention quiet, serene... just so peaceful and romantic. Perfection. We wouldn't change a thing if we had to do it all over.

The lot is good sized for parking cars, and there's also a separate building for the guests to mingle in, or use the bathroom, or for the bride, whichever you choose. Also, for any guests who have trouble walking down a few stairs, there is a flat walkway to get to any of the 3 circles of the garden. My husband and I highly recommend Lois and Harmony Gardens to every couple getting married.
