Doug Decker with Grant Hemond and Associations was awesome. We had an eclectic group of people at our wedding and he totally knew how to get them on the dance floor. Grant Hemond also worked within our budget which was great! Highly recommendable.

Our DJ, Rob Vollmar, was able to meet with us in person in advance of the wedding to go over all the details. We provided him with a list of hundreds of songs to choose from to play including our 3 specific wedding ceremony songs. He stuck with the list and was one cue for the entire night. Very professional and knowledgeable. He even provided a special gift at the end. I would recommend Rob for your wedding. Great job Rob!

Rob's service was excellent. He was so easy to work with for both my husband and I. He even went as far to make sure that we had drinks in our hands throughout the night. He coordinated with one of my bridemaids who was singing at the reception and that went smoothly. We did a slide show with Rob as well and the presentation was great. It was a hit with all of our guests. He kept the dance floor moving all night long. Any couple would be lucky to have him at their wedding!

Very professional and responsive. They say a DJ makes or breaks a party and it's true. He went well and beyond his task as a DJ. He was attentive to the Bride & Groom and he made all the guests happy. My guests loved every piece of music played from pre-ceremony, ceremony to reception. I even had guests that are planning a wedding and they took note!

We had Craig Hemond from Grant Hemond and Associates, Inc. play our wedding in Oldsmar, FL on October 18, 2009. From the beginning, we have experienced nothing but the utmost of professionalism from this company. I am a very critical person of businesses (especially service-oriented businesses),.and I have nothing bad to say about our experience with the company. They were very prompt with returning any inquiries we had prior to the wedding,
I spoke with Craig for over an hour on the phone before the wedding, where he guided me through the process of selecting music for the wedding (which, by the way, if you think you have your songs picked..you don't. No worries, they have plenty of great recommendations)...then Craig followed up with me again via e-mail, and finally with a call before the wedding. He even went above and beyond to play during the cocktail hour and keep our guests entertained..when he didn't have to. I have the highest expectations of pretty much anyone when it comes to hiring a business for an important event, and I truly can say that it was a pleasure to have Grant Hemond and Associates play our wedding.
And for what it's worth, I've never been to a wedding where people (almost everyone) stayed on the dance floor for the entire wedding..and sure enough, Craig kept them there. Once things got rocking, he kept up the momentum, and our guests responded in a great way. My brother owned a DJ business in the Tampa area for 12 years folks...being able to read and respond to a crowd like this is the mark of a truly skilled DJ.
Once again, if you haven't hired a DJ yet, save yourself the headache, call Grant Hemond and Associates, Inc...and see what they have to offer you. I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

By far the best DJ service out there. Rob Vollmar was our DJ, everyone left telling us how awesome he was and how he kept everyone dancing, was upbeat, made silly (but not corny) jokes and made the whole afternoon perfect. He was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ! Would definitly have him as a DJ again for anything in the future! Thumbs up and thank you Rob and Grant Hemond for providing us with the best DJ possible!

Doug Decker was Awesome! He contacted us and went over every aspect of what he would be doing, gave us insight into best options for our wedding, and answered all of our questions. Punctual and professional, he was a quick read on the crowd and brought style and humor throughout our reception. Doug acted as a director and ran the whole show, he was a complete "Master of Ceremonies".

Rob Vollmar was great and played all the music I requested and was very accommodating to our guests. He also made sure to respect our "do not play" list. Rob created a CD for us with all of our first dance songs and a special song he created with our best man and maid of honor toasts that we absolutely loved!

Doug Decker was the DJ for our wedding and he was fantastic! He was really great at moving the wedding along at a good pace. We wanted specific songs played at specific times (cake cutting, last song) and he was great about that (though he did forget the song we wanted to be announced to, but honestly, I was having such a good time, I didn't even notice). He suggested that we do a dance where the longest married couple gets my throwaway bouquet (instead of a garter toss and bouquet toss), and it was really sweet and everyone loved it. Grant Hemond the company was very responsive, and they were nice to negotiate with. I got a great price!

We absolutely loved our DJ, Rob Vollmar! He was great at getting everyone up and dancing. He played all the songs that we had requested and doublechecked with me before playing any songs that we were up in the air about playing. The cd he made of our first dance song, father-daughter and mother-son songs, and the toasts of our maid of honor and best man was beautiful. We didn't have a videographer, so I was thrilled that he recorded the toasts. The cd moved me to tears the next day when we listened to it. I would definitely recommend Rob and the Grant Hemond crew to anyone. They were awesome to work with!

Rob Vollmar was our DJ and he was truly outstanding. Extremely responsive to the guests and read the crowd perfectly in terms of what was appropriate and fun. I had the rare occasion of having one of my guests come up to me right after the dinner was over and mention how grateful he was that the DJ played appropriate music for dinner which allowed him to have good, "hearable" conversations with all of the people at the table, which normally is not the case. We had a fantastic time and, in large measure, Rob added tremendously to the enjoyment of the wedding. I would highly recommend him.

Our DJ(s) were Cory Barron and Eric Harding, and Cory is actually a close friend of ours, so close in fact he was the Best Man. Eric did the introductions and ceremony music and some of the reception music and Cory finished out the night. Cory was there at 3 to set up, and had pretty much everything ready to go at 5pm when the ceremony started. I had NO idea what music to play, all I did was give him a general list of what we liked and what we wanted to here and the big dance songs and they took care of the rest. I had no idea what "grand entrance" music I wanted and while we were taking pictures, they helped us pick a song, haha. The guys were so amazing and so professional. We couldn't have asked for more. Cory gave GREAT recommendations for some of the other vendors I used, especially DD Bloom florist, Katherine DeMarco from Made for Each Other Weddings, and Affordable Catering, and I ended up using most of his recommendations. Music is something you do not want to just skimp on, or let some amateur do and I am so happy Cory and Eric were able to do it! Thanks guys!!
