    Best Wedding Planners You Could Ask For

    We absolutely loved working with Nicole, our wedding planner, and Tanya, our day-of coordinator. They were both energetic, flexible, communicative, and super helpful in co-designing our vision. We picked them because we felt confident they could keep us on track throughout the process and make sure we focused on what mattered most to us, and they absolutely delivered. The last week was a breeze because of them, and the wedding day wouldn't have been the same without them.

    The ultimate wedding planner!

    Nichole is definitely the person you want as your wedding planner. Her services are worth absolutely every dollar and more. If you’re reading this review, you should reach out to see if she has availability on your date and count yourself lucky if she does!

    We did her Partial Planning package for our wedding at the Haven at Tomales. She was an unbelievably helpful resource throughout the process, at every stage of the game. Though we weren’t doing full planning with her, she was very available for calls and emails as we did the early planning. She was an incredible resource - her extensive experience meant she’d seen it all before and knew what worked and what didn’t. She was so helpful with helping us navigate vendors and reading over contracts to make sure we weren’t missing anything. I particularly appreciated that she helped us be budget conscious - she did a great job of helping us figure out what was worth spending money on and what wasn’t. She did all of this with a positive attitude and without ever making us feel judged.

    As great as she was in planning, she was even better at the rehearsal and wedding itself! She managed both with incredible efficiency. At the rehearsal, her instructions were super clear and she kept everyone on the same page. She ran the wedding itself with mastery, allowing us to just focus on the moment itself. She and her assistant handled whatever unexpected wrinkles came up with ease. The wedding ended up going just shockingly smoothly, and we even kept to her detailed schedule all night, making the event so much more fun and relaxing. All night, my bride and I were saying to one another how grateful we were to have her.

    You will just not go wrong with Nichole. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

    Our only regret is not meeting Melanie sooner

    We had so many questions leading up to our wedding. Melanie helped put us at ease with her clear communication and organization. She was able to give us the direction we needed to pull together the final days of preparation and was instrumental in setting up our venue for the event. She and Jamie were incredible with their management of our vendors and our wedding party. They were very respectful and never intrusive and allowed the event to have some more “organic” moments, even if it meant slightly modifying our agenda. We are so grateful for our experience and could not have asked for a better coordinator.

    Amazing Team!

    The 2 Friends Events team was so great to work with! After having to postpone our wedding, Nichole was willing to work with us to create a day of coordination package that fit our wedding needs after a few changes in plans due to COVID. Melanie and Jamie were our coordinators and they were both fun and easy to work with! Melanie was flexible with last minute changes and was incredibly helpful when our venue was being hard to work with. Highly recommend this team as they are responsive, reasonably priced and willing and able to make your wedding visions come to life!

    Absolute best wedding planner

    Nichole was a dream wedding planner. From our first phone call, I felt so much more relaxed and confident about our plans. She is super efficient, organized, and on-the-ball. When we did the site visits, Nichole was brimming with creative ideas and I could tell she felt energized by the challenge of putting on a spectacular wedding, something that would overwhelm most people (myself included). She was just so enthusiastic, energetic, present, friendly and helpful. She worked wonderfully with our vendors and had really great ideas to contribute. Honestly, she is the best. Look no further. You will be thankful to have her steady and warm presence with you during the planning and coordinating process.

    Fantastic Experience

    We worked with Nichole Simpson for our wedding in July and couldn't be happier with our choice. From start to finish, Nichole delivered a level of service that was above and beyond our expectations. We're recent East Coast transplants so when we decided to have our wedding in the Bay Area, the variety of venue and vendor options was overwhelming. Nichole helped us to streamline the planning process and we were thrilled with each and every vendor that she helped us to choose. Throughout the planning process, she struck the perfect balance of providing her expertise and occasionally helping us break through indecision, without ever being overbearing. In addition, she did a fantastic job of keeping track of our budget and helping us to avoid the unnecessary "up-sells" that are so common in the wedding industry. In fact, it's hard for us to overstate just how positive our experience was. We found Nichole's advice and expertise to be invaluable and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner in the Bay Area.

    Best Decision

    Next to choosing the perfect venue for our wedding, hiring 2 Friends Events for our Month-of-Coordination was the best decision we made during our planning process! We heard about 2 Friends Events from our venue. We originally were assigned a different coordinator but she ended up going on maternity leave so we were re-assigned to Camille. She was FABULOUS!!! I didn't know what to expect from a coordinator or how much I was supposed to include her in every detail. I'm pretty sure I stuffed her email full of cc's! She was so great and kept reassuring me that I wasn't over communicating. The week of was crazy busy but Camille had a handle on everything. Mary assisted her day of and both of them were both so nice and calm and totally kept both Sean and I at ease. If I had questions right before the wedding, they answered them for me and made sure every detail I had prepared was done. The day went so smoothly and timely, just like Sean and I had wanted. I seriously did not want the evening to end. Thank you Camille and Mary for everything!!!! It was PERFECT!!! -Lauren and Sean.

    Flawless planning, perfect Wedding!

    Hiring an event planner for our wedding was originally one the biggest 'maybe's for us when we starting thinking about our wedding. Boy, am I glad we decided to go with 2 Friends! Camille and her assistant Sarah were invaluable during the planning process beforehand, and all throughout the wedding day.
    We went with the month-of package, and Camille was available to answer every question or concern I could throw at her throughout that month before the wedding, and even before that! She would always respond to emails very quickly and went out of her way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. By that point, we had already chosen all of our vendors, but they do offer recommendations. However, Camille collected and reviewed all of our contracts, corresponded with everyone and basically ensured everything was all set to run smoothly. She also met with us at the venue to go over every detail of the day, and asked us about things we wouldn't have even thought of.
    On the day of the wedding, I was amazed at how perfectly everything went. If there were any problems at all during the day, my wife and I didn't hear of it, because Camille was handling it. They set up and broke everything down, from the table centerpieces to the welcome table, and made sure everything got packed up in the right cars at the end of the night. Sarah even came out to our rehearsal the night before to pack all of our stuff in her car!
    We were very impressed with 2 Friends Events and highly recommend them to anyone even considering hiring an event planner.

    Chrystal is a dream to work with as a florist. She is inexpensive, but doesn’t sacrifice in quality. She worked with us on a very tight and concise budget, but delivered in the upmost of ways on the day of our wedding. Leading up to the wedding Chrystal was incredibly flexible with multiple e-mail exchanges and communication, as well as allowing us to meet her in person to go over finer details and share our vision with her. On the day of, she was punctual and worked incredibly fast on a tight timeline and helped us immensely in dressing up our occasion. Chrystal loves what she does and it is apparent in her work ethic and her passion exudes from the product she is able to deliver. You can plan and plan all you want when it comes to a wedding, but execution is key, and Chrystal absolutely excels in making your vision a reality. In an industry where it is difficult to find quality at the perfect and right price, Chrystal stands out. I am a musician, and have gigged my share of weddings, so I’ve had experience in working with and seeing other photographers, and without a doubt Chrystal is by far one of the best out there. Book her, you won’t be disappointed, my bride and I certainly weren’t!

    Our search for the perfect florist for our wedding ended when we met Chrystal. From the beginning of planning out what sort of arrangements and flowers we'd need for our wedding, Chrystal knew exactly how to visualize what we were after. It's difficult to find something unique, priced efficiently, and still elegant, especially in the wedding industry. Chrystal helped put together the most beautiful floral arrangements utilizing succulents, orchids and winter-time flowers for our ceremony, reception and bridal party. When we walked into our wedding, we were completely blown away by the sheer beauty of her arrangements, and everything from the boutonnieres to bouquets and table centerpieces were on point. We can't speak higher of Chrystal's finesse and professionalism, and anyone looking for the perfect florist in the Bay Area needs to reach out to her immediately.

    We were very happy with our choice for Two Friends Events to help coordinate our wedding. Nichole was our coordinator and she was everything we could have asked for. She responded to all of my emails/ phone calls/ texts quickly and thoroughly. She was very accommodating when planning our site visit and rehearsal. She made sure I wasn’t stressed at all on the morning of the wedding and helped things running during reception without being overbearing. She seamlessly worked with all of our vendors to ensure everything went as it was supposed to. And she arranged all of our centerpieces, placecards, floral arrangement, aisle accessories beautifully (I never showed her photos of what I wanted...she just has an eye and a skill for it).

    In summary: she was AMAZING!

    I had originally been assigned a different coordinator at the same company who I had trouble getting in contact with. I sent her an email explaining my frustrations and without question, she offered to coordinate the event herself and was very understanding and professional about the whole thing. Prices for the services were very reasonable and comparable to other companies I’d researched….it really was a wonderful, professional experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Two Friends Events.

    P.S: We used their partner floral services (Chrystal Keller) because it is discounted and I couldn’t have been happier with the final results. All I gave her to go on was a color scheme and she made beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, etc. Everything looked stunning in photos.

    These ladies know what they are doing, if you have a vision they can fulfill it. If your vision is not clear, they have fabulous suggestions lots of contacts for other vendors Please use them you will not be disappointed

    Nichole was the best Day of Wedding Coordinator ever!! She was very professional, well organized and extremely personable. She handled all my needs the day of the wedding so that I can just enjoy myself. There was not one problem that she couldn't fix.     We had such a wonderful experience working with Nichole and 2 Friends Events. From the beginning we had no idea where to start with the wedding planning process and we felt totally overwhelmed. So we interviewed a few wedding planners over the phone based on reviews from Yelp and The Knot and Nichole from 2 Friends Events was the one who we felt we really connected with. We ended up choosing “The Complete Event” and Nichole was with us every step of the planning process. We think that communication is very important when working with a wedding planner and Nichole was always very responsive through phone, text, & email in addition to our many face to face meetings. It’s so helpful to be able to text her for quick questions such as - ‘when should we send out our save the dates?’ or ‘would these chairs look good for the reception?’. What we learned through the many months of planning is that many questions will come up frequently and randomly! So looking back we would agree that having someone there for you to quickly respond to those random questions helps tremendously. If you have a strict wedding budget, Nichole will make sure to only show you options, designs, & vendors that will fit within your budget. At times she had to reel us in (which we are thankful for) because we tend to have expensive tastes! She helped us choose the perfect venue, negotiated all the contracts with our vendors, helped brainstorm our design ideas (& then implement them), & coordinated our wedding day perfectly. The wedding we had was EXACTLY what we dreamed and imagined and went off without a hitch. The whole time Nichole was calm and cool but at the same time made sure all the events happened on schedule and we were at the places we needed to be at. We had a large wedding party with different personalities and every one of them said they enjoyed working with her.     Wow were we glad to have Lindsay as our day-of coordinator!! Lindsay is a type-A personality that will see through *everything* to make sure things will get done as needed, as requested. About a month before the wedding, she took the lead on all vendor-related coordination, which freed me to pursue other planning matters. She was also very responsive to the multitude of emails I've sent throughout the course of the month, and was very good at compiling all of my miscellaneous requests without missing a beat.

    However, what really impressed me was her day-of execution, task handling, and unwavering resolve to get things done. Not only was she 8 months pregnant, but even faced with a major catering-related fiasco (1/3 of our guests were left without enough food plus our guests were running off with the cake buffet prior to our cutting), she managed to shield us from hearing about any issues, plied our hungry guests with drinks and kept them happy, and handled the kitchen staff, all with utmost grace. She also helped us resolve the fall-out from the catering issues by providing us with plenty of advice, and really helped us retain our sanity during a stressful time both before and after the wedding.

    If there's anyone you want on your side to fight for the things most important to you as the client and a bride, look no further. Lindsay is cool, collected, and very assertive, and her ability to fight any fires with grace speaks immensely to her high degree of professionalism.

    Nichole was great to work with and definitely have recommended her company to friends and family who may need similar services. Having our wedding as a destination wedding, it was great to have someone on the ground for us when it came to the our wedding day. She was on top of everything. If we didn't have Nichole, my husband and I probably wouldn't have enjoyed our wedding.

    We could have not picked anyone better to coordinate our wedding than Nicole and Lindsay. They were truly amazing. Most often at times the events leading up to the wedding can be a stressful time for couples, but that was not the case for us. These two gave us so much assurance that everything would be taken care of and sure enough it was. We received so many compliments on how everything from the ceremony to reception flowed so well and all the credit goes out to them. Everything ran in a timely fashion without a snag. They provided so much comfort for us and wanted for us to enjoy this special day without worrying about a thing. They were very organized and were always in communication with us as well as the various vendors we had for our wedding.

    We can’t thank them enough for EVERYTHING they accomplished. We highly recommend 2 Friends Events if you’re looking for someone to coordinate your upcoming wedding. You will not be disappointed!

    Hiring 2 Friends Events was the best decision that my husband and I made in the planning process for our wedding!!! Nichole and Lindsay worked closely with us the whole time and made the process as stress free as possible. They went with us to view as many venues as we needed and even proposed options that we didn't know were available. I feel that they went above and beyond what other wedding planners were offering and I would definitely hire them again if I were planning another big event. I don't know how we would have handled everything the day of without them. Thank you for everything Nichole and Lindsay.

    My husband and I got married in the SF Zoo this past May, and many commented that it was one of the best-run weddings ever. This is in no small part to our two day-of wedding planners.
    We met up with them months before the wedding, and they gave us a checklist/timeline of things we needed to consider and organize. To help us out, they had suggestions and recommendations of items and vendors, but they were totally flexible.
    As the big day drew nearer, they toured the wedding and reception venues with us, offering pointers and assembling a timeline for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception. We gave them the contact information for all the working parties (officiant, SF Zoo coordinator, florist, DJ, photographers, and even our military saber arch!) and they were able to organize everyone into one coherent effort of getting the wedding setup and moving.
    Throughout the reception, our planners would find us and let us know when certain events would be happening (ex: in ten minutes we’ll do the garter toss), and they coordinated with our DJ so that he could time the music and make the appropriate announcements. When it was finished, they helped us tear down and pack everything up, even driving some of our leftover cake to our hotel room nearby!
    Overall, we are thrilled we hired our day-of planners. The wedding went off exactly on time and finished exactly when we planned on it winding down. Additionally, there were no foul-ups and there was no confusion between ourselves, our guests, or any of our vendors, and this was owed almost entirely to them.

    Linday was absolutely awesome. Her knowledge and organization were invaluable. We chose to go with just the day of coordination, but meeting with her multiple times through the planning process kept us on track and having someone who knew the ins and outs of the process allowed us to feel like we weren't forgetting something crucial. The day of went off without any issues (that we were aware of). and I credit that entirely to Lindsay and Kyle. We couldn't have done it without them and we would recommend them to anyone who asks, and to people who don't.

    They took my ideas and turned them into something magical. Their flowers truly made the entire wedding so much better, I couldn't believe how much I loved it!!
