THE BEST Wedding Coordinator!
From the very first intro call to our final farewell at the end of our wedding night, Candice was truly a dream come true. Her warmth, positivity, and radiant energy never once wavered—and that consistency, paired with her impeccable attention to detail, made all the difference. She was incredibly organized, always one step ahead, and remarkably responsive. We never had to follow up or remind her of anything; she simply had it all under control.
Candice made us feel so cared for every step of the way. Her patience, thoughtfulness, and calm, steady presence created such peace of mind throughout the planning process and especially on the big day. Even our parents commented on how much they were able to fully enjoy the celebration because they knew everything was being handled with care.
She even helped bring my wedding cake vision to life—every little detail was just as I’d imagined, and it meant the world. One of our absolute favorite moments was when she made sure we had a private moment together in the reception ballroom, dancing to our first song before guests were let in. It was so thoughtful and beautifully orchestrated—just one example of her seamless organization and how deeply she cares about her couples’ experience.

The greatest planner ever!
Candice planned our wedding in September and we couldn’t recommend her more!!! Candice and her team are professional, friendly, responsive, well respected, knowledgable and an absolute pleasure to work with!
My favorite thing about Candice was that she truly put the bride and groom first. From our first meeting she understood our vision and found us vendors that were exactly what we envisioned (and within our budget). Unlike some of my friends who felt their planners tried to persuade them in certain directions, Candice always stayed true to our dream wedding and made it become a reality! We really felt Candice was on ‘our side’ and her support was clear from day 1.
As we got closer to the day, Candice was consistently on top of everything and made the final months/weeks feel seamless! On the wedding weekend, Candice and her team made the rehearsal dinner, welcome party and wedding run so smoothly and I can’t imagine going through this process without her!

Let me start off by saying that I think most people would agree that having a talented and experienced wedding planner is the #1 thing you need for a seamless, successful day. This fact itself underscores why I was SO particular on who to hire when I first got engaged. I think I had 10+ consultations with planners when all was said and done. Candice and her team at engaged events were AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things. She is so personable, flexible, and makes you feel organized and excited in a stressful time. She knows her stuff and can easily pick up on your personal taste and what you want your wedding to be like. She has so many amazing suggestions and is great at keeping pricing in mind. On the day of, she was somehow doing a thousand things at all times and kept the event running smoothly (and if things were off, she did a great job at hiding it lol!). I cried when I saw my venue and reception area because everything came together so beautifully, better than I could imagined. Candice is AMAZING!!!!! We were so lucky to have her for our wedding! Although we hired her for the "Final Detail Package," she checked in with us from time to time and provided us with lots of helpful advice. The vendors on her list were great!!! They worked seamlessly on the wedding day!! On the wedding day, Candice and her team were everywhere to set up, direct vendors, and greet our guests. From the pre-ceremony preparation to the end of the reception, Candice was like a movie director making our big day like a Dream come true! Everything was followed by the timeline. Many guests left me lots of good comments about Candice and her team. Candice's crisis management skill is unbelievable! Right before the wedding, Candice noticed that the template name was accidentally printed on the table cards I ordered, she immediately trimmed the cards perfectly so none of our guests noticed it! Her magical smile makes you feel that everything is under her control and you can absolutely 100% rely on her. She was professional, prompt, and fun to work with! Candice from engaged events saved me. I was struggling for months planning my wedding nearly single handedly and it is completely overwhelming. We hired her for day of coordination and she started helping about 2 months to go. And what a life saver. I had no idea I was missing so much in my planning. She coordinated necessary meetings (like the final walk through) with all the vendors necessary. I dropped off a box of decor at the rehearsal and on my wedding day everything was displayed beautifully. I didn’t have to worry about set up or tear down. When I got back to my hotel room it hit me, I would have had to have someone (or myself) think about picking up the cake topper, the bouquets, the top tier of the cake, the table #’s guest book etc. Holy overwhelming task Batman!
I’m so thankful that we hired her. She was a total pro and made sure that I was taken care of, even / especially when I didn’t know I needed to be taken care of! 12/10 recommend! Worth every single penny!

We could have not been any happier that we chose Engaged Events for our wedding planning partner! From the very first meeting, Candice (the owner) was so knowledgeable, caring and we could see how passionate she was about making her client's big day the most special day. She always had a smile on her face and went above and beyond every step of the way - whether it was our first planning meeting, final venue meeting, or the special touches she put on the actual wedding day, she made sure to make everything unique to us. Her team is amazing too, so sweet and on the ball! The real magic of Candice's work is that throughout the entire process she not only prevented adding any stress to our planning process, but she was able to alleviate all of our existing stress. She made the entire process fun, enjoyable, and absolutely perfect.
We had several people coming up to us at the wedding asking for her contact info, as it was readily apparent to all how outstanding the planning was. She always kept her composure and never looked frazzled/stressed. We had really bad weather roll in a couple of days before our outdoor wedding and had to literally change everything three days before - Candice was on the phone with us non-stop, calling vendors, negotiating pricing, adjusting our rentals, and making sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable and excited for our wedding. World class wedding planners
I want to begin by noting I am a very critical person by nature and interviewed with over a dozen wedding planning companies. Candace was the last planner I spoke with so I naturally expected perfection given the other candidates were also highly rated and had featured in all the magazines and websites a bride looks at - but the moment we ended our call I called my mom and said I HAVE TO HAVE ENGAGED EVENTS - I knew without a doubt in my crazy bride Bain that she was the best and let me tell you - she did not disappoint at all. Due to the pandemic - my wedding timeline went from 11 months to 24 months of which I is a long time to plan anything and looking back I’m even more in awe of all she did and who she is because heck - I would’ve been over me by month 12.
But anyways - I’ll get to the point - Candace made what was the Best day I could ever have asked for! Where to even begin - from the moment I decided on the venue (back in 2018…pandemic wedding timeframe) I was truly in awe of the professionalism every member at Engaged Events demonstrated. To say the planning service was perfect would be an understatement - every concern, question or hesitation was anticipated by their remarkable wedding team to the point where I was being given information on a topic or area of the wedding planning that I hadn’t even known I was worried about! They prepared for my every need and Candace was patient through every one of my OCD freak outs! ! I am grateful to have been able to experience my magical and perfect dream day with the ladies of this establishment. Candace is truly a world class wedding planner and human being. Thank you for creating perfection every single moment of my day!
I am so happy we went with Engaged Events to help with our wedding planning and day of coordination! Leading up to the wedding Candice was always so good to answer any and of all of my questions (trust me I had a lot), ease my worries, and provide much-needed expert guidance and advice when I wasn't sure the best way to tackle something. It's clear that Candice knows what's she is doing and always has her client's best interest at heart. And lastly, on my wedding day, when the totally random and unexpected happened - a flash thunderstorm an hour before the ceremony in the middle of September! - Candice and her team were on top of it!!! You can imagine the stress and anxiety that came over me when this happened but rest assured, Candice and her team kicked into high gear, made backup plans, and communicated with all the other vendors. We were so lucky to have Candice as our wedding planner! I can not express how helpful she and her team were for planning our wedding day and for all their help on the day! My wedding was perfect! Candice at engaged events was my coordinator and she was pleasant, sweet, and extremely great at her job. She stepped in a couple months before the big day. Together we made a comprehensive timeline of the day and she helped me think of every detail to make the day go smooth. She ran our rehearsal so well (kept everyone focused but also having fun)! My wedding day was so perfect. Candice and her team organized everything perfect and always had everyone where they needed to be at the right time. Our timeline worked out perfect. First, I have to say my now husband and I were engaged for 3 years, living in different parts of the country/California, and were so busy with our career paths by the time we hired Candice. She was our saving grace in planning the wedding - from her attention to every single detail, organization, promptness in responding to emails/texts/emails, and her genuine kindness and support for us. She not only stuck with us for those years before our original wedding date BUT she kept us motivated and supported when the pandemic hit and we had to postpone our wedding 3 TIMES. She was beyond amazing and did everything in her power to make sure we were treated with fairness with realistic pricing/costs and dealing with vendors. My husband and I couldn’t believe our wedding actually happened just a few weeks ago and we owe it all to Candice and her team - it was truly sad saying goodbye to her at the end of the night!!! Candice is genuine, friendly, respectful, kind + so much more! From our first initial email conversation, Candice showed true professionalism. Candice is AMAZING!!
If you've been spending hours searching for a wedding planner, search no further! Candice and Engaged Events are truly the best! Our perfect wedding wouldn't have been possible without Candice and her team.
My job involves a lot of detailed analysis so I knew I would probably treat wedding planning the same way and go crazy with "analysis paralysis" before my wedding day arrived. Thus I needed someone to help navigate through the process, narrow down my options, provide recommendations when I couldn't make a decision, all while staying within the budget. I interviewed the wedding planners my venue recommended and immediately fell in love with Candice. She was warm, bubbly, and understood right away what I wanted for my wedding. Throughout our time working with her, Candice was always patient and understanding with my millions of questions and emails and constantly looked out for our best interest.
Additionally, Candice has a wonderful relationship with the venue and catering company we got married at (Rancho Las Lomas & 24 Carrots) so everything throughout the planning process and wedding day went seamlessly. She helped us figure out the best set-up for my ~150 size winter wedding at Rancho Las Lomas and the catering/rentals with 24 Carrots. She also has a fantastic network of vendors (photographers, DJ's, florist, cake, etc) that were within my budget range. Everyone she recommended that we ultimately hired for our wedding were absolutely amazing.
On our actual wedding day, Candice and her team were on top of everything. She would check-in on us throughout the day to let us know what was happening next. We can honestly say we were not at all stressed on my wedding day because of Candice's organization and constant communication. Everyone (our parents and bridal party) kept saying it was the best and most organized, stress free, yet fun wedding they had been a part of.
Candice is so hard working, truly loves what she does, and helped make our dream wedding happen! My husband and I had such a wonderful experience working with her. Thank you for everything!

Jenn at Engaged Events was AMAZING!
My husband and I got married this past November 2, 2019 at Rancho Las Lomas and we could not have done it without Engaged Events. Our coordinator, Jenn Wolf, went so far above and beyond to make our wedding the most flawless unforgettable wonderful day of our lives. From our first meeting, Jenn was super organized and on top of everything and emailed me updated drafts of our big day along the way (which I LOVED because I am big on organization and planning). She is so sweet and was happy to help answer all of my millions of questions. Everything went smoothly the day of. There was one glitch at the end of the night with our late night snack delivery (not in any way Jenn or Engaged Events fault, completely mine and my husbands) and Jenn amazingly offered to go pick it up for us. Thanks to her our guests had their late night snack and left the event SO happy. She is literally amazing and our friends and family are still talking about how unbelievable our big day was. Everyone has told us that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to and that the service and people who worked the event were so amazing and we have Jenn and all of her assistants to thank for that. I want to throw other parties just so I can use them again (vow renewal next year perhaps? Or too soon?). Cannot recommend Jenn and everyone else at Engaged Events enough! Thank you for making our wedding perfect.

Helped to create the perfect day
Candice was wonderful. She was incredibly responsive when it came to emails and what I found most important was she put me at ease. When you start planning a wedding you have no idea what you’re doing. You don’t know anything about seating arrangements or how many tables you’ll need and this was a huge stressor for me-that is until we found Candice. Candice and her team were so organized, helpful and a pleasure to be around. She is the wedding planner you want and need to have. She’ll make sure your day runs smoothly and she’ll solve any hiccups along the way. I had ordered and brought some easels and she assembled them the day of. You need Candice!
Hiring Candice was one of the best decisions I made when it came to my wedding. Not only is she like the sweetest person but she is so helpful, organized, and knowledgeable. I did the final details package since I had already done a lot of the planning and hiring before I found her. This package is a great option that many other planners don't offer. She started working with me 2 months prior to my wedding and was great at communication and getting last minute details in order before the wedding. From the first time I met her she gave me a hug and made me feel comfortable relinquishing responsibility to her. She then took over all communication with the other vendors, she came to my rehearsal and of course was in charge on the wedding day. If it weren't for Candice I don't think the day would've gone as smoothly as it did. She checked on me several times throughout the day and gave me updates as vendors were setting up which I really appreciated! I owe Candice a huge thank you for her services and I highly recommend her for anyone thinking about a coordinator! She is such a gem and truly just a wonderful human. Hire her, you won't regret it!

Candice from Engaged Events was our wedding planner and day-of-coordinator for our wedding at Rancho Las Lomas and La Purisima Catholic Church on 08/31/2019.
Where do I begin??
She is absolutely one of the most beautiful souls we have ever met. From our first interaction with her, to our multiple check-in meetings, emails, vendor meetings, rehearsal, and the wedding day; she proved to us how she is worth every single penny!
Engaged events is professional, organized, punctual, dependable, helpful, perfectly priced, and personable. Candice was the perfect wedding planner and day of coordinator for us. The services of Engaged Events was the best thing we paid for on our wedding journey/day.
I am a really organized person and love planning events that most of my friends thought we wouldn't hire a wedding planner and just a day of coordinator... I knew that this wasn't just any event that was being planned but OUR WEDDING! I wanted a professional and seasoned eye watching our decisions and making sure that we stayed on track. My husband and I are so pleased we decided to hire Candice for the planning process in addition to the day of coordination. She really provides such wonderful insight.
She recommended vendors to us and we ended up selecting the dream team due to her! Having all our vendors know each other from previous weddings was a key factor to the seamless success we had at our wedding. Candice has worked with so many vendors and she really knows how to organize them all. She can honestly pull off a perfect and beautiful wedding with her eyes closed!
Our wedding day went off without a hitch! We had our wedding day take place over two locations: the ceremony at a Catholic church and the reception at Rancho Las Lomas. She was there whenever we needed her no matter the location.
By the end of the night, our families complimented us on choosing to work with Engaged Events and how they were so pleasant to interact with.
Thank you Engaged Events, Thank you Candice, for all your hard work and dedication to making our wedding day so special and taking care of us from the moment we signed the contract over a year ago to the day we said "I do."

Jenn Wolf is literally the best. She was so organized, professional, and just ON IT in every way! For most people, a wedding is the biggest event you will ever plan, and someone like me will go in every direction with planning unless someone gives me exact details to focus on and deadlines to follow. Jenn did all that and more. The day flowed so perfectly, even though the timeline was not perfectly followed. And anyone who says you can't party at your own wedding is wrong. I was able to let go and party it up, feeling so confident that the wedding was in good hands.

Truly Wonderful!
I can’t possibly say thank Candice and Linzi and team enough for everything they did for my son’s wedding. From the very start, they have been our center and strength and covered us at every turn. I always knew we would be ok with them to guide us, and of course that is true. But I am overwhelmed at the lengths they went to take care of us. Every detail, the timing of the day, down to the sparkler exit, everything was perfect. Every time I turned around looking for something, or wondering about how something was going to go, Linzi was there, telling me she had already taken care of it, or would find out the answer to a question, tables set up, decor items out, personal items packed, sorted, nothing was left out, there to the very end. Their kind energy, smiles and supportive vibes made the day a joy. AMAZING! They are easy to work with, very thorough and thoughtful, professional and positive! Candice handled issues with our vendors for us, made contacts when we needed referrals and saw that their services were completed as promised.
Their services are impeccable, and customer oriented 100%. It has been a pleasure of a lifetime to work with them and having them as our wedding planner has made doing this wedding a much easier task. When I think of the wedding in years to come they will always be at the center of the experience. I will be singing their praises to any one who is looking for a wedding planner any chance I get.

WOW!! Engaged Events is amazing!
I used Candice from Engaged Events for my daughters Final Details Coordinator. She was always available to me as the MOB, to answer my quick questions and with referrals along the way. She provided amazing service to me as the MOB and to my daughter and her husband as well. She was always professional, kind and firm when she had to be. When I had a hick-up with one of our vendors two days before the wedding she handled it with grace. She found a solution that worked to ease the problem. Her documentation of all aspects of the wedding was to be commended. My daughter says, "Candice, she's amazing!' and I agree!!

I cannot say enough about Candice Sanders with Engaged Events. Her professionalism is exceptional, her level of engagement is superb, her dedication to staying within our budget was extrordinary, and her character is lovely in every way. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her! Honestly, I stunned by her level of services in comparison to her package prices. She goes above and beyond, I can assure you. Candice helped me plan a wedding for our daughter who lives in Laguna Beach; I live in Houston, Texas. As you can imagine, planning a wedding from afar can be a fiasco, but this was not the case. She held my hand every step of the way, and it was the best experience. All of the vendors she recommended were fantastic. We loved them all. I can also tell you that this was our second wedding to plan; our firstborn married a few years ago. We paid a jillion more dollars for our wedding planner and, truly, we got the same service as Candice supplied. Obviously, I cannot sing her praises enough. If you're grappling with who to use, make an appointment with her. You'll be glad you did!

I've planned events but for my daughters wedding I wanted someone I could trust our day with so I could completely enjoy the day. Wow! I felt completely comfortable in the hands of Engaged Events! BEST wedding planner ever!
CANDICE seriously made our amazing wedding what it was, I cannot say enough good things which makes this review hard to write since I can't decide how to explain all she did for us in words.
First, let me just say that not only was she amazing in wedding planning and everything that goes with it, but she has become a friend through the whole experience. We really enjoyed our time "hanging out" wedding planning with her. While that may sound corny, planning a large wedding is no joke (which is how I knew I needed her) and when I would get stressed, she very easily made me more calm and flipped things around so I saw the good in every part of it. For that, I am eternally grateful and confident there is not another wedding planner out there that's better!
We booked Engaged Events for full wedding planning and I would do that again in a heartbeat. This meant that Candice helped us book every vendor, and I'm really glad I had her input. Also, she was extremely knowledgeable about where it was important to spend money. She also helped us with our budget!
On the day of, Candice kept everyone organized and on time, which is no small feat. Everything on our wedding day went so smoothly. The only hiccup was when the transportation was late, and Candice handled that situation like a champ. I have a big family, and we had a bridal party of 10, and she kept everyone organized, up to date on what was going on, and made sure everyone was having a good time.
Everyone in our bridal party, all our vendors, the hotel, and the church were all seriously impressed with Candice. I had so many people tell me how awesome my wedding planner was. I also had a ton of guests tell me they had no idea I had a planner, which is how I know she did a perfect job!
I would recommend Engaged Events to anyone who is looking for the perfect wedding planner. They will go above and beyond to make your wedding day the absolute best day of your life!

Hiring Candice for our wedding was the BEST decision I ever made. When interviewing potential planners, my three main criteria were organization, personality and professionalism. Not only did Candice check each of these boxes, but she blew everyone else out of the water. Throughout our entire planning process, I never once felt stressed or 'behind.' Candice kept us on a perfect timeline, held us accountable for getting things done and, most importantly, was incredibly flexible with our work and personal schedules. Candice also has incredible relationships with vendors across the board which was invaluable when we reached negotiation phases. To show how much I truly adored her, below is the email I sent her the day after our wedding. If you want to have your dream wedding with minimal stress - hire her, immediately!

There are not enough words to describe how much we enjoyed working with Jenna to plan our DREAM wedding!
Our wedding turned out to be more than we could have ever possibly imagined. It's been 3 weeks since our wedding and now that I have a minute to reflect on the most perfect day, I've realized how important and amazing Jenna from Engaged Events was throughout the entire planning process. Jenna’s truly a dream team wrapped in one person and I don't know what my wedding day (or my sanity) would’ve been without her! From her amazing vendor recommendations, to building a detailed timeline for the day of, to being there for us every step of the way, to getting to know us both so well that she anticipates what we're going to decide - she's unbelievably talented. Jenna was always there to guide us through things and at times to simply ease my mind. The big day went off without a single hitch, not a thing went wrong, and we were able to enjoy every single moment of our special day because of her. She was so on top of every little detail, not only the day of the wedding, but throughout the entire process, which made wedding planning much more enjoyable for us. Since our wedding I have received countless calls and texts from family and friends telling me how beautiful and fun our wedding was.
I cannot imagine having planned my wedding with anyone else and I gained a wonderful friend from the process. I would recommend Jenna and Engaged Events to anyone planning their special day!

We liked her instantly, and as luck would have it, she was available on our wedding day. Truly, we were lucky because I know she was busy around the time of our wedding. Engaged Events is absolutely amazing. Candice was available anytime for our endless questions and always pointed us in the right direction. She helped us with everything we could think of: location, flowers, photographer/videographer, invitations and SO many more of the little details. The engaged events perferred vendor list is full of so many amazing vendors! Candice was very understanding of our budget and did everything she could to point us in the direction of the vendors that would work best for our budget and the product or service we were looking for. We did not make a single wedding decision that we regretted and that is entirely thanks to the expertise and advice of Candice and the Engaged Events team.

Candice was my wedding day-of coordinator and she was amazing. She stepped in 2 months before the wedding and helped me address all the last minute planning details, some of which I definitely would have forgotten if she had not reminded me. She is very friendly, but also extremely thorough and detail-oriented, with lots of years of experience. I felt completely comfortable having her run my wedding day because I knew she would take care of business and manage any issues. She also went the extra mile and setup all of my custom floating candle decorations that my mother had designed, plus she helped break down the decorations at the end of the night and load everything into our cars for us. She was awesome and I'm glad we had her there to orchestrate everything.

We had the BEST experience with Engaged Events. Jenna is seriously a rock star at her job. From the very beginning, she was so on top of it. We sat down at our first meeting to talk about what we were looking for & she asked all the right questions. I can honestly say that the best decision we made in our wedding planning process was hiring Candice. Hands down, we could not have done our wonderful day at the Richard Nixon Library without her.
While I almost went with another coordinator that my friend recommended from his wedding, the thing that drew me to Engaged Events and Candice was that she had so much previous experience with the Nixon Library. I didn't want another coordinator to try to figure out the Nixon Library (which is a government building, after all) for the first time at our wedding. Candice's experience with the Nixon Library was truly evident as we got closer to the wedding and I found out that even the security guards at the Nixon Library know her by name. Heck, she even knew the loading schedule by heart and which gates would be open and which wouldn't be during the morning of our wedding. Another thing that I liked was that Candice only does one wedding per week, so she doesn't overload herself by taking on too much.
Candice has a true attention to detail and prepared things for the wedding that neither of us had even thought about. She truly made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. I can't say enough good things about her. The two assistants she brought with her to the wedding were also great, and my wife really appreciated their help with the details (like bustling her dress). She always kept us up to date on what's happening and what's next during wedding day and handled last minute changes like a champ (such as guests showing up at our wedding that we weren't expecting). She was always so relaxed and kept us relaxed as a result. After the wedding, Candice emailed us a super detailed recap of the day that included the actual timeline and how close we were able to stick to schedule. I'm super confident that Candice will be the best decision you'll make for your wedding.

If you're trying to figure out whether you should hire Engaged Events for your wedding coordinator, I suggest you don't think too long about it and just book them. Trust me, you'll thank me later. We got married last month, and many people have been asking us how our wedding was, and every time I say "smooth, no drama, and wonderful." If you want your wedding the same, I suggest Engaged Events. We had Jenna as our wedding coordinator last month, and she really made it a wonderful experience. Life is already a little crazy sometimes, but with wedding planning, it just adds a whole new level, and I found myself overwhelmed when initially trying to plan everything myself. The nice thing is, they will work with your budget and tailor things to be exactly how you want them. Don't be afraid to ask for things, as Jenna went out of her way to do what we needed. My favorite saying from Jenna was "no question is a stupid question," as I was apologizing for asking so many questions. Seriously, she will answer any questions you need an answer to. They are professional, honest, timely, warm, talented, and most of all, caring. Jenna truly wanted to make our wedding as close to perfect as possible, and that's exactly what we got. Candice was invaluable to our wedding day. We hired her as a final details coordinator and after months of stressing, I was relieved to pass everything off to her very capable hands. I was told by multiple people that I should prepare for at least one thing to go wrong on our wedding day, and can honestly say that nothing ever did. I have no doubt that it has everything to do with Candice and her team. During the planning process, she was there to answer every question and with very quick response time. She was also very accommodating to timeline requests and made everything work out to where we weren't paying overtime for some of our hired vendors. I found Candice through our wedding venue vendor references and also read a lot of her yelp reviews. I chose her after talking with her and comparing them to other day off coordinators I interviewed and it was one of the best decisions. I was initially hesitant because my wedding was unique with a variety of cultural events we looped in while still trying to keep it classy.
Candice offered a lot of advice on how to maneuver things to help them run smoothly leading up to our wedding. You won't go wrong when you choose her!

Our wedding was absolutely flawless and I have to give her and the team of vendors she recommended credit for that. My guests still rave about what a great time they had and how perfect everything was. When things got down to the wire Candace was a god send to me, she kept me in line with final payments, decisions and walking through the details that sometimes can be overlooked. We worked with Jenna at Engaged Events to plan our wedding ceremony and reception. To simply say that everything went "as planned" would be a success but an understatement as well. My fiancé and I planned our wedding in six months. We knew that we could do a bulk of the planning but wanted to have a coordinator for the day of the wedding so that our family and friends could truly enjoy the day. She answered emails promptly, met with us on the days and times we requested prior to our wedding day, provided us with detailed information and timelines well in advance, and was punctual to all meetings/events. I first met Candice and her team at my sister's wedding in Santa Barbara that she had planned and that is when I knew that Candice would one day help me plan my own wedding! Hiring Candice was hands down the best decision we made in this whole wedding process, we really did have the best day of our lives and we will treasure it forever! I hired Candice to help with final details and it was the best decision I made throughout the wedding planning process! From our first first phone conversation I could see how professional, organized and passionate about her job she was. At our first meeting she collected all vendor information from me and she pretty much took over contact with vendors from there. The last few months of wedding planning were stress free because I knew Candice had everything handled. From the rehearsal to the last minutes of the reception the event was flawless because of Candice's organization and attention to every last detail. She made sure we were fed, had drinks, knew where our belongings were, and that we stayed on schedule. I would highly recommend Candice and Engaged Events to brides looking for help with the whole planning process or just looking for help with final details. Candice is absolutely wonderful. I will be referring her to everyone of my friends getting married. She is everything you want in a planner. She is so professional, organized, detail oriented, well connected and extremely friendly. She made the whole planning process easy and comfortable. She was honest and very helpful. The day of the wedding, I could not have asked for a better planner. She was so awesome and on top of everything. My mom and I didn't want to worry about a thing the day of and just have her run the show and she did just that. Everything she did, every detail and her communication was perfect. Jenna was incredible at organizing vendors prior to and during the event. Everyone knew where to go and what to do and because of that, the event went flawlessly. The DJ knew when to start up certain items and it all flowed brilliantly.

Jen is AMAZING! my mom was so stressed about how we were going to set up everything on the day of and figure out the little detailing and Jen was there for everything. She made sure we had everything prepared for the day of, she was there to coordinate our rehearsal and throughout the entire wedding day she was my own personal fairy godmother. She coordinated everything with the vendors, groomsmen, guests, decor, food, etc. if it needed to be done she got it figured out. She also was there to make sure my mom and I were taken care of and that we got everything we needed and reminded us to enjoy ourselves and relax. She is the BEST.

I couldn't ask for a better team. Jen Alvarez was amazing in her professionalism and her enthusiasm throughout the entire process. We asked for a coordinator to get through the last two months to take over organizing all the final details and she handled it beautifully. Her team during the event kept everything flowing and within the timeline needed all the way to the final clean-up. Thank you so much for all your hard work and efforts. The event was a wonderful memory we will cherish.

Jenna and her team did an amazing job on the day of our wedding managing the chaos!! Jenna helped us starting three months out and helped coordinate all of our details, timeline of events, and making sure we had any outstanding items checked off. She really helped us put the whole picture that we had painted together on a canvas on the day of our wedding and enabled us to enjoy our day and to not have to handle all of the coordinating of vendors and people on our magical day.

Candice is the best wedding planner/coordinator you can get! She is so sweet and is an absolute joy to work with. She responds to emails quickly and is very organized with putting together the wedding details and timeline. She coordinated the rehearsal and wedding day perfectly. I didn't have to worry about any issues on the big day because I knew that Candice would handle it. She even stayed later to help load gifts and vases into the car so that my mom wouldn't have to worry about it. I will be recommending her to all of my friends and family getting married!

We hired her and engaged events to help us with the "final details", meaning putting everything together the month before the wedding and coordinating everything on the day of. It was by far the best money I've spent on this wedding. Easily. Jenna was responsive and answered all of our questions and handled everything professionally while making sure we felt calm and informed. It was a great big relief knowing we were in good hands. She handled every curve ball that was thrown our way (many that I didn't even know about until after the wedding!) in the few months leading up to the wedding and on the day of. Jenna is organized, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She knows exactly which questions to ask at site visits, and what details to double check when review contracts. All of our vendors love her too! My husband and I (and the Mother of the Bride) are eternally grateful for the services and friendship that Jenna provided for us throughout our journey to the wedding.

From beginning to end, she was there step by step helping me through everything. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smooth. I ended up sick on my wedding day, and Jenna checked on me throughout every turn, and kept my spirits high during the stressful times. The commitment from the entire team the day of the wedding was outstanding. They all came dressed in theme, and were so professional throughout the entire event. People are still talking about hoe organized and smooth everything ran, and it honestly would not have been possible without the help of Engaged Events. I would never do an event without their help ever again. The day of the wedding, and the entire process before would have been so stressful if it weren't for them guiding me through every step of the way.
