Excellent and Organized Photographer - You Won't Find Anybody Better!

From beginning to end, Erica was an amazing photographer to work with, and I would recommend her to anyone getting married! Not only are the pictures she takes incredible, her organization and professionalism were outstanding during the entire planning process and wedding day.

From start to finish Erica was a great communicator and we had several discussions about what photos we wanted, along with many helpful suggestions from Erica. Not only that, but her organizational skills are amazing! She will make sure to get all the family, wedding party, and couple shots in an efficient way so that no second is wasted. We loved this because looking back on our wedding photos we don't have a single regret as she captured all the shots we wanted, and more!

As anyone can see, Erica's photos are also beautiful, and will really capture your special day. We truly love all the pictures she took, and they really captured our love and wedding day.
One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to hire her as a photographer!

Picture perfect wedding!

Erica is a very personable and professional photographer who captured the best memories on our wedding day. My husband and I had our original date scheduled for June 2020. As Covid did not allow, we had to reschedule and Erica was more understanding than I could have ever imagined. She assisted us with sorting out the new date. Erica did such an amazing job capturing every single moment from getting ready until late night partying. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and this was mostly because of Erica and her assistant creating a space for ease and professionalism while doing their job. Erica provides an app to download on your phone which makes accessing the pictures a breeze. The content we received was crisp, detailed and quality. I would recommend Erica for anyone who is looking for a personable, professional, experienced, and all around fun photographer for any event. I will be seeking out her services in the future.

Professional, talented, quality photographer

Erica is so professional and talented. After communicating by phone and email, we loved how easy it was to speak to Erica and how she understood what we wanted for our intimate ceremony. She outlined everything and was always responsive with any questions. On the day of the ceremony, she arrived early, greeted us with a smile and immediately put us at ease with her down to earth personality. She was truly patient and flexible to work with including our quite active dog in the photography as well. She really ensured we have photos we want and she brought our wedding day to life with her quality, timeless style. Erica is the best

We are soooo happy with our choice to hire Erica for our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day! We found her information in the Skaneateles Wedding Guide and when I reached out to her, she responded within the hour. From the very beginning she showed us how responsive and professional she was, while also still being SO friendly, warm, and easygoing. I get camera shy easily and I let her know of this - her response made me feel so comforted and less anxious. Her style of shooting is really laid back and fun - we didn't even feel like we were being photographed to be honest. She had us do funny prompts to make us laugh, or would sneak photos from somewhere without us even seeing. She has such an eye for creative shots that really represented us as a couple. Her and her assistant Marissa were an AWESOME team. HIRE HER!

Absolutely Perfect... Hire Her.

Erica shot engagement photos for my fiancé and I in Charlotte, NC - the entire experience from start to finish was wonderful. She was sweet, friendly, and worked extremely hard to make sure she got the best shots for us. She got the photos back to us so quickly, and they turned out better than I had hoped for! Highly Recommend!

From the start of even inquiring a photographer for our wedding, Erica was amazing. Choosing vendors can be a bit overwhelming if you are picky like me, especially since my husband and I were planning a cross county wedding. Working with Erica as our photographer helped put many of the moving pieces at ease, and we could not be happier with the final product. She was extremely timely in her communication and provided various helpful examples of other weddings she had done including our venue to help give us a clear idea of her work. She was beyond flexible to work with, good energy, and truly captured our day. Once our album was ready she provided an app to make for easy viewing along with a password protected online album, breaking down the day from getting ready, ceremony, and reception. We loved the added photo-booth option, as it made for a fun addition that our guests used throughout the night. I would highly recommend Erica to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding day!

Photos we will cherish for a lifetime

Erica is without a doubt the best wedding photographer we could have ever hired for our big day!! I can't imagine our wedding without her. Having photographed my brothers wedding a year earlier, we knew she would deliver fabulous photos.

Erica went above and beyond every step of the way. Leading up to the wedding, she asked me to send any wedding photos I wanted to use for inspiration. Not only did she bring a print-out of them the day of, but we actually recreated a few of our favorite ones! We were laughing throughout our couple photos and Erica and her team made us feel totally at ease. Our bridal party even chimed in with a few fun ideas for the group shots! Her team took what can sometimes be a stressful part of the day and made it a complete blast. I also recommend adding on the digital photo booth which was a hit with our guests.

Photography was a top priority for us, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We are approaching our one-year anniversary and will relive the memories of that day through Erica's beautiful photos for many years to come.

Great photos, great experience!

Erica and her team went above and beyond throughout our whole wedding weekend. We did the full weekend package and Erica was with us every minute from Thursday - Saturday, including over 12 hours on Saturday from ceremony, wedding party photos, until the end of reception. Her photo booth was a big hit for our guests, so make sure no matter what package you get you include it.

Erica did so much to make sure we had the perfect photos throughout our wedding weekend. It was clear she has a passion for shooting weddings and had many great ideas for fun group shots and intimate shots of my husband and I.

I strongly recommend Erica to anyone looking for a high quality photographer that has LOTS of experience. She made everything so easy for us, the photos were the least stressful part of our planning.

Exceptional!

We first met Erica when she did the photography for my sisters wedding. We loved how the pictures turned out so much, that we chose Erica for our wedding as well. She was very accommodating and was even willing to travel for our big day. From setting up the contract, to her easily online payment system, to finalizing our day of timeline, Erica was easy to get in touch with and super helpful. On the actual day of our wedding, Erica and her assistant were punctual and did an amazing job at coralling all of our family members and bridal party for group pictures. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, and we knew that Erica was capturing all of the moments that we wanted. We had our wedding at a venue that Erica had never photographed before, and Erica did not miss a beat! She is so easy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone! Easy to work with and super happy with our photos!

When you are planning a wedding from afar - including organizing everything over the phone or through emails - it's great to have a photographer who is flexible and can really make your vision come to life. Absolutely beautiful photos

Erica was very professional, responded in a timely manner, and was flexible with my schedule. She drove to our wedding location in advance to get picture ideas and prepare for the lighting. Her second shooter was excellent also, they captured so many beautiful and creative images! I was shocked at how fast I got all of my photos, and couldn’t be more pleased with the results!

Wonderful to work with!

Erica couldn’t be easier to work with! She is very flexible and listens to what the bride and groom want for their day! Her work is great and she takes excellent photos without you even knowing she’s there at times! Her package included everything we wanted and she even threw in a photo booth last minute for free. My husband and I decided to have a unique ceremony (not a wedding but a little more than an elopement) and Erica captured it perfectly. She made sure we got every photo idea on our list and then some! We took photos at SU afterward, as we are both alum, and she saw so many great spots for photos that we didn’t even think of. Erica did an amazing job as our wedding photographer!!! We absolutely loved all the photos she took, but we especially love the candids. She has a talent for working the crowd and bringing out everyone's personalities. She even took special request photos from some of the families in attendance. We can't say enough wonderful things about Erica and her team. Erica is so talented and creative. From the moment we contacted her, with all our questions and requests (and there were MANY!), Erica was able to produce exactly what we wanted. She asked all the right questions to get our thoughts together, offered suggestions and solutions. We wanted pictures outside - unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and it rained almost all day! She had a back up plan, umbrellas, suggestions on inside photos.... AND then we got lucky enough for a break in the rain for the outside shots! They are breathtaking.

Additionally, Erica provided a photo booth that was so much fun. She provided all the props and anything you wanted to have some fun photos. At the last minute we also had her video the day - from getting ready to reception. Can't wait to see the final version - the sample footage was excellent!

I highly recommend Erica and her team. You will not be disappointed ....

I am so glad that our search for a wedding photography led us to Erica Hasenjager. From the first communication with Erica, I knew that we had found the right match for what we were looking for in capturing our wedding day. Erica was always prompt and thorough in her replies. Her relaxed attitude put us at ease - we wanted beautiful photos to remember our day but we did not want it to be a huge production. Erica and Marissa absolutely delivered, they always just set to work quietly in the background and the results are incredible. They were extremely flexible in having to re-schedule our engagement session multiple times due to bad weather. Our ceremony was held at our family cottage on an island only accessible by boat - Erica and Marissa didn't bat an eye; on the wedding day, as we were running slightly behind schedule, Erica and Marissa hopped right in the boat and before I knew it they were unloading our coolers of ice and other packages! My husband had planned fireworks at the reception as a surprise for me and only told Erica about it that day - they were ready and captured gorgeous images of the show. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Erica Hasenjager Photography and would highly recommend her. She is professional and flexible, easy going, rolls with the punches, and you will walk away with beautiful, natural photographs of your special day. We were very happy with Erica! Our wedding was completely DIY, and for that reason it was a bit unorganized... but Erica handled it with ease and ensured that the photo booth was set up and running on time and that all of the family photos were taken without delaying dinner. She wasn't afraid to speak up to get things done which was exactly what we needed that day. And, most importantly, our photos turned out amazing! We highly recommend Erica!

I'm so glad I chose Erica to capture our wedding day. From the beginning to the end she was a pleasure to work with. Her professionalism, responsiveness, pricing and flexibility far exceeded other photographers I had reached out to... not to mention that the quality of her work speaks for itself!

Erica took the time to meet with me a multiple occasions to make sure everything would run smoothly the day of. There was never a doubt in my mind that an important moment or one of our "must have" photos would be missed.

When the big day arrived, Erica and her team showed up on time, were pleasant and incredibly easy to work with. We never felt directed or forced to pose, yet she kept things moving and organized.

Another thing to note is that Erica and her team were very respectful of our ceremony (and our guest's experience at our ceremony). There were no interruptions or distractions (which is something I've witnesses from other photographers at weddings I've attended in the past). In all honesty, we barely knew they were there, but somehow not a moment was missed.

After the ceremony Erica had to handle a (semi rowdy) 20 person wedding party... She did it with ease, laughing along and capturing some of my favorite candid moments of the day.

Throughout the cocktail hour, first dances, speeches, dinner and finally party time- Erica kept snapping.. all resulting in beautiful, fun photos that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.

I could go on and on, but at the end of the day all you need to know is, Erica is your girl and should you chose her to capture one of the most important days of your life, you won't regret it!!

Erica was very easy to work with, responsive, flexible and professional. The photos from my daughter's wedding day are fabulous. Erica was creative with posed shots and captured great candids. She also provided the photo "booth" for the reception which was a simple backdrop that enabled larger group pictures. The people that worked with Erica were also friendly and professional. Erica's price-point was similar to other photographers (and less than many) but her service far outweighed what we have heard about other photographers. I have no hesitation in recommending Erica Hasenjager Photography for your professional photographic needs.

We honestly could not have chosen a better photographer for our wedding! Erica was incredibly easy to work with and so on top of everything. Erica was our photographer for our November 4th wedding this past year and choosing her was the absolute best decision we could have made! She is the friendliest, most down to earth person that you would want following your every move on your wedding day! We met up with her a couple times before the wedding to discuss details and it was like meeting up with an old friend. She has such a great sense of humor and was making us laugh all day which resulted in some AMAZING photos of the day. If you are looking for a photographer who takes heavenly photos and is so easy to get along with, Erica is your girl! Erica and her team were AMAZING. Erica is super responsive to emails and answering questions you have as a bride, which made the entire process less stressful. I was a bride planning a wedding from Maryland, and she worked around my schedule and always made herself available when I would be in town. She was super fun to work with and keeps you on pace, which is hard considering how busy the day is! I let Erica know specific photos I wanted, and let her handle the rest, and she exceeded all of my expectations. She captured so many natural photos, that were posed or set up, and these are the ones that create the best memories. We absolutely loved working with Erica! From the planning process to the wedding day, Erica and her assistants were a joy to work with. She did our engagement photos in Armory Square and our wedding photos at the Hotel Syracuse. The photos are gorgeous! She captured every moment of our day perfectly. Erica was accommodating in every way, even adding a second day for our engagement shots because it was too cold the first time we tried and keeping the photo booth open an extra hour during our reception because it took a while for people to start using it. Everyone loved Erica so much my sister-in-law chose Erica to do her wedding photos next year.

Erica was fantastic. From our engagement photos, to our wedding photos, her service went above and beyond expectations. We got married in Syracuse, but live in Albany and Erica was willing to travel to us for our engagement photos. My husband worked with Erica to plan our engagement. She was able to snap photos in secret of that special moment. We again went to Erica for our wedding and were not disappointed. Erica and her assistant were professional but allowed us to take the photos we wanted without making them look staged or posed. When I had a hard time finding a hair and makeup artist, she stepped in and recommended someone! Even after the wedding, Erica remained in touch and helped us get photo albums made by Christmas for our families. We provided her with a very tight deadline and she made it happen. We highly recommend Erica. She was wonderful to work with!

I had fallen in love with Erica's photographs after seeing her work for an acquaintance's wedding in 2014. My now husband and I wanted photos to capture our wedding, but we didn't want or need the "extras" (rehearsal dinner, getting ready shots, first look, etc.) Erica was so accommodating and worked within our budget and what we needed, and the four hours of photography were truly amazing. Not only that, but she was punctual, professional, pleasant, and like any great photographer, we barely noticed her and her assistant throughout the night! Couldn't recommend more.

Adaptable is the first word that comes to mind when describing Erica’s photography.

With what seemed to be a “what can go wrong, will go wrong” scenario at our ceremony venue, Erica was prompt and professional about how to still get great pictures. We were informed the week of our wedding that flash cameras weren’t allowed within the church so Erica went above and beyond to make sure she had proper equipment that she had rush ordered into Syracuse to be here for our wedding day. Then the biggest challenge that I feel Erica encountered and controlled with extreme talent was upon arriving to the church she was told she couldn’t step foot in the center aisle! For a wedding ceremony that is just crazy and you’d think it would eliminate so many shots, but Erica and her second shooter, Maureen, did great. As the Bride and Groom we weren’t even told until after the ceremony to ensure we didn’t stress over it—much appreciated!

My husband and I have recommended Erica with every chance possible. We still can’t thank her enough and extend our appreciation for making our day as seamless as possible, with the photos to prove it. THANK YOU!

Absolutely Fantastic ! Erica captured every single perfect moment of our day. She was so pleasant to work with on top of be amazingly professional and organized. I told her how important it was for me to spend a lot of time at my cocktail hour, and she moved pictures along with the family and bridal party to allow me to do that. I also wanted to make sure I got a photo with each of my aunts, and with all of the chaos going on, I actually forgot about it. But Erica reminded me that that was something I wanted to do - and told her to just let her know what time works well to get that done. I also told her that I had seen this photo of a couple outside near the moon, and wanted to replicate it. Erica stayed late past the wedding, just so we could get this shot. Lastly, a somewhat funny story. One of our groomsmen broke his zipper right before the ceremony and ERICA sewed it back together. What other photographer would do that! The best part, she never told me, so I had no knowledge of it and therefore no unnecessary stress.
If you are getting married in the upstate NY region, you would be a fool not to hire Erica.

Of all the (many) vendors we dealt with, Erica was by far the one I am the happiest with. She was incredibly fast at responding, always professional, friendly and fun, and most importantly delivered incredible results. If you look at her photos, you'll see how talented she is at capturing moments -- and imagine having hundreds of those pictures from your wedding day! I don't usually like how I look in photos, but in my wedding photos I honestly think I look beautiful, so happy, and like myself. The pictures of my husband looking at with me lovingly are ones I'll cherish forever. And then there are the candids of the reception... ;) I will be looking back at these pictures for the rest of my life, and feeling happy. And, as and added bonus, Erica is the kind of photographer who has enough talent to capture the moments as they happen instead of staging everything to get a good shot. Erica far surpassed our expectations as our wedding photographer. She was fun to work with, extremely organized and professional, and delivered an amazing product.

It doesn’t come naturally to most to be photographed, and from the very beginning of our engagement session, Erica helped me and my (now) husband feel relaxed and natural. This was also the case on our wedding day last year, which allowed us to trust her completely as she acted as both a fly on the wall to capture those spontaneous and meaningful moments, while at the same time direct the attention of a lively wedding party for posed photos.

When it came to the organizational logistics leading up to and after our big day, she was incredibly easy to work with. A few days prior to the wedding, we decided to have a sparkler exit, and she was happy to extend her night an hour longer to accommodate this. And when I procrastinated on choosing the photos for our album to make the holiday deadline, she arranged them beautifully and worked into the late hours of the night to make sure the layout was perfect.

But most importantly, the photographs she took were phenomenal. The gallery she provided to us was the ideal combination of posed, candid, detail, and scenic shots. If you have the chance to work with Erica, you’re lucky. Thanks to her, we’ll cherish the moments she captured of our big day for a lifetime.

It’s hard to find the perfect photographer to entrust with capturing your wedding day, but your search is over! Planning our wedding from out of town, we scoured every photographer’s website and knew from the first time we saw her portfolio and spoke with her that she would do an amazing job. We absolutely loved working with Erica and are thrilled with how our photos turned out!

From the very first time we reached out with interest, through the wedding and beyond, she was incredibly responsive and professional, but also friendly and easy-going. She is incredibly accommodating and flexible and made everything so stress-free. She didn’t bat an eye when we added extra time a few weeks before the wedding or changed the location and schedule on the day of the wedding.

The morning of the wedding, her and two assistants arrived on time and made us feel so calm and comfortable in front of the camera. They were so unobtrusive it was almost like they weren’t even there, yet they managed to capture every moment perfectly! We can really relive our wedding through the photos, from the big moments to the smallest details, and most importantly, the spontaneous, fun moments with our guests that made the day so special.

I can't say enough good things about Erica Hasenjager Photography! From the first communication I sent out, she was responsive, flexible, and professional about everything!

Part of the wedding package we bought included engagement sessions. My fiance and I were both a little nervous as this was the first time either of us had been part of a "photo-shoot" but Erica made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, it was like hanging out with a friend. She gave some direction, but let us do our thing to catch some great candids! We also had our dog Bella and she took some amazing pictures of us as a family and even some of just Bella!

Erica was great leading up to the big day. She reminded us about our photo timeline and was flexible when I was wanted to add two additional hours of coverage. She was there right on time, friendly as always, and she always made me feel very comfortable, which is something you want on your wedding day! As part of our package we also had a second photographer Maureen, who was just as friendly and talented! I think the thing that was most amazing was how many pictures they managed to capture without me ever realizing they were around. They were everywhere but never in a distracting way, it was just perfect and we had so much fun together!

Besides from the great working relationship, I was absolutely blown away by our amazing wedding photos. They were just stunning and weeks later I still find myself looking through all of them. My parents could not have been more pleased and I have received so many compliments from friends and family.

I HIGHLY recommend booking EHP as your photographer. With all of the stress that goes along with wedding planning, this will be one less thing to stress about, because they deliver nothing short of perfection!

Erica did an AMAZING job at our wedding. She brought along two of her assistants and between the 3 of them they really captured everything. It ended up pouring the day of our wedding and they were able to quickly set up lighting inside so that we could get our formal shots indoors. They were also able to get some fantastic detail shots. Erica and her assistants are truly gifted at capturing candid moments (and those are always my favorite). One of the best things about Erica is that she was able to get all of the shots that I wanted without being pushy at all. I'm thrilled with how our pictures turned out, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to friends/family in the future. Thanks Erica!

I cannot say enough good things about Erica and her photography skills. She is so laid back, fun and accommodating. My husband and I are very outgoing and goofy and from the moment I got my engagement pictures back I knew we picked the right photographer.

She's extremely professional as well. Out of all the vendors we used she responds right away to any sort of crazy questions you have, no matter how big or small they might be. Her pictures are so much more than your traditional and stiff engagement/wedding pictures. She's able to capture personality so well.

Erica and her team were AMAZING to work with. I cannot say enough good things about them and my experience. They photographed my wedding this past weekend. They were not only great at their jobs but also a pleasure to spend the day with. They were so sweet to all of my family and wedding party, and were quick and efficient during formal portraits. Erica was FANTASTIC and worth every penny. She captured the shots we did not even know we wanted. She took the time to make sure she was aware of the key people in the wedding, the "must have" photographs, and the timeline of our day all before the event. She arrived before the event to capture the setup, the cake, and the area before the event began. We have so many wonderful photographs of our guests, posed and candid photos of ourselves, our families, and the wedding party, and a great keepsake album that will last a lifetime. The photographs were given to us in a timely manner, categorized on her website (reception, ceremony, getting ready, etc.), and delivered to our house in a beautiful box featuring our pictures with a flash drive containing our name and wedding date. Erica was extremely easy to work with, professional, and creative. My husband and i noticed her team at a friends wedding and how well they worked the room, then when we saw some proofs of her work for their wedding I called her right away! Her photos were incredible!! She did not dissapoint for our day either, it was a very dull, drab, rainy September day but you would never know it by her photos. We actually had SEVERAL people say they didnt even notice the photographers but we have tons of amazing candid shots. How to even find the words? From our first meeting with Erica we knew she was the photographer for us! She was laid back and had a great personality and sense of humor. Erica photographed our wedding in July, we could not more highly recommend her. She was wonderful to work with, extremely professional, and delivered beautiful pictures.

Erica is a very talented photographer, her portfolio speaks for itself. We were immediately drawn to her contemporary, natural style, and her photojournalist approach. But equally important, Erica is a very talented businesswoman. Every interaction inspired confidence, and her attention to detail and style was obvious throughout her website, client galleries, promotional material, contacting and billing system, and the finished products she delivers.

And did I mention that she's super fun?

As for our wedding day, you can't imagine the nerves. Erica was a welcome, familiar sight. She and her team took charge and helped the wedding party relax and settle down before the ceremony. And then... they disappeared.

They captured every single perfect shot and I have no idea how they did it. Aside from the sunset pictures, I have no memories of them. They were everywhere and caught everything, and yet we never once noticed them.

Two months later and we already have the pictures. They're incredible, they're perfect, and we love them.

If you're reading this review you've likely just begun planning your wedding and finding your photographer. You're probably more than a little overwhelmed. I promise you, Erica is a slam dunk. If you like her style, and if she fits into your budget, your search is over. She will make your life easier, she will overcome any wedding challenges, and she will do the job beautifully.

Erica Hasenjager is an extremely talented, thorough, and dependable wedding photographer. My husband and I cannot express how happy we are with the pictures of our wedding. She did a fabulous job and was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. She and her staff were extremely professional and helpful. I highly recommend her for your wedding!

Working Erica and her staff was an absolute pleasure for my Husband and I. We were looking for a non-cookie cutter photographer for our wedding and Erica is just that. She captures the most beautiful images and she has an impeccable eye for what will make them great. Her staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. She was prompt in responding with any questions we had. She was also very accomodating and flexible to our needs. We couldn't imagine having a more perfect experience. The images she captured will be treasured by us forever! Highly recommend for any occasion.

Erica did an excellent job. She was great at wrangling family and guests into position, as well as at capturing terrific candid shots. Very well priced for what she provides. Would recommend her to anyone.

Once I decided to get married back in my hometown in Upstate NY, I called my high school girlfriends who had done same and asked them for advice. Most of them recommended names that are very well known Upstate and when I called them, they were booked.

And what a gift that ultimately was…because I never would have met Erica!!!!

I have seen photos from weddings all over Upstate NY, and I think Erica is the best in the business.

She stopped by my parents home months in advance of the wedding date and walked us through all of her prior wedding collections and recommendations. She was not pushy at all and listened to all of our feedback. She was very relaxed, professional and just so friendly that my husband Eric and I immediately connected with her. Her style is very classic, but with a 'twist' and she captured so many amazing moments in a very creative way. About a week before the wedding, Erica and I spoke to go through all the details and moments that we wanted to capture - she didn't miss a beat. Erica is fantastic. What I dreaded most in a photographer was someone that micromanaged everything and took away from what a wedding day should be. Erica was the exact opposite of that. She did her thing effortlessly and quickly. I was amazed at how quickly she got great shots and did not perseverate on specific shots. I had 20 people in my bridal party and we were able to get amazing shots within an hour before our reception, something I did not think was possible. She is easy going, flexible, and adaptive. You will not be disappointed if you chose Erica for your special day!

Erica is an absolutely incredible photographer. From the first moment we spoke through the creation of our wedding album, Erica was not only a pleasure to work with but gave us amazing results. After a less then perfect morning with my makeup/hairdresser, she helped me feel confident and beautiful with her ease, confidence, and wonderful personality. She went far above and beyond what we could have ever expected. She had not only done her research on the areas we were having our pictures taken but had unique picture ideas prepared that have now become our family favorites. She beautifully captured one of the happiest moments in our lives and gave us timeless pictures we will cherish for a lifetime.

I believe the best referrals come from others in your field or your competition. I found Erica by another wedding photographers referral. She was too pregnant and said that Erica would be the best and she was. What I appreciate most is her strong listening skills. She heard our vision of our wedding and took that to the next level. She quickly and easily incorporated the unique architecture the venue offered to augment our photos. She made sure that all of the pictures we requested were completed in an unobtrusive way. I would recommend her highly!

Working with Erica on our wedding photography was great. She was always available to answer questions and her knowledge of wedding photography was so helpful. The day of the wedding went smoothly and she did an awesome job selecting shot locations, knowing the light and was even patient with the rowdy crew she had to photograph. She was also a huge help in creating my wedding, day-of schedule.

I just received the photos and they came out amazing. She literally captured every moment and all the expressions on everyone's face. The photos are so professional and the style was exactly what I wanted.

She also makes it easy to obtain the photos by supplying you with your own flash-drive. I know many photographers tend to make it difficult and are often sketchy about this point which was a huge selling point for Erica when we were selecting our photographer.

I would recommend Erica to all of my friends and family who are interested in photos because they are just so gorgeous and professional.

Erica was absolutely wonderful! She is so sweet, and has an amazing eye. When my husband and I were doing shots of the two of us, she took us to this mossy area off the driveway of the venue. It seemed like a cute place to take a picture - but I was blown away when I saw the actual photos - we look like we're in the midst of a stunning wooded wonderland! She is amazingly priced, and was willing to work with our small budget. I also really appreciate that she made a big effort to meet me in person before the day of the wedding. I definitely recommend her!

Erica was a fantastic wedding photographer. She was incredibly responsive, which was important for me as an out-of-town bride. Her response time on email was 24 hours or less. Her pricing was clear and fair. Her photography is both creative and touching.... she captured some beautiful moments during the day. She arrived at the venue 15 minutes early and was very professional with handling me and my family- very efficient with the wedding timeline. Erica even stayed one hour later than her contracted time to catch a few of the first dance and wedding cake moments. Highly recommend this photographer!

Absolutely awesome!!! would be the phrase I would choose if I could only choose one to describe our experience with Erica Hasenjager Photography. Erica's ability and knowledge as a photographer is beautifully showcased in the hundreds of photos we received, taken by her at our youngest daughter, Megan's wedding recently. Anyone that is in need of a photographer, I highly recommend Erica. I met her through a photo shoot at my job and was so thankful and excited to learn that my dad surprised me by hiring her for my wedding (originally we were Counting on friends and family).She is very easy to work with and reasonably priced. She was easy to contact and quick on answering emails/phone calls. Her eye for catching precious moments is amazing. When I looked at the pictures she took I cried because it brought me right back to that moment. She is open to suggestions in regaurds to poses you want as well. Her delivery time was sooner than I expected too . Honestly, I can not say enough good things about her. I hope you take this review seriously and contact her, you will not be disappointed !

We hired Erica for our wedding based on a referral/recommendation from one of her colleagues. We were planning our wedding from out-of-state so we signed a contract with Erica before we even met her in person. We are so glad that we did! Erica was wonderful to work with. She is flexible and professional, not to mention a fabulous photographer. We took some photos before our ceremony, both a "first look" and photos with our wedding party, which enabled us to spend much more time enjoying our cocktail hour and reception. Erica provides incredible value for the money. She brought a second shooter to our wedding and stayed beyond our eight hour contracted time. Hire Erica - you won't regret it!

Erica did an amazing job with the photography for our wedding. She was able to capture all of the important moments of the day in such a way where she went largely unnoticed. You did not feel like there was a camera on you the whole event but she captured shared smiles and expressions and moments that are priceless. She was able to capture these pictures in a way that was natural because it was not for the camera.
In addition, our formal shots were amazing. She was efficient at organizing us for the pictures and was able to get all of the shots that we had wanted.
She was very comfortable to work with and knew when to have us pose or just capture a moment and she balanced this extremely well.
She has such a creative artistic touch to photography and was able to get some spectacular posed bride & groom pictures.
We have fantastic pictures of our special day now for the rest of our lives thanks to her good work.
We would highly recommend Erica to be the photographer for your wedding.

Erica was amazing to work with. She ventured all over upstate NY to make sure everything from our engagement pictures to our first dance were captured. From Delmar to Bolton Landing, she was there. We got our engagement pictures back so quickly we were able to use the images to create special items for our wedding. We by no means had any experience with wedding planning prior to this but Erica was there to answer any and all of our questions. And did I mention that our wedding pictures were AMAZING!!!!!!! Erica was able to capture all the smiles of those we love including a very special picture of my 84 year old grandparents sharing a special dance after 59 years of marriage. Erica also gave us the permission to use the images for our own use so we were able to create specialized photo albums, Christmas ornaments and a canvas picture of our wedding photo which I hung above our fireplace. Our families absolutely love the pictures as well and we were able to customize special photo albums for each person with pictures of that would be important to each of them. And the cost for all of these specialized and unique services was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend not only Erica's work, but Erica herself.

Erica did an amazing job & I would highly recommend her to anyone who is serious about hiring a photographer that will produce amazing wedding photos. Erica was professional, punctual, organized, and fun. She was on top of all the details of our event, and she made sure we were on the same page as far as photos that we wanted, timelines, etc. well before our event. She was also laid-back and able to go with the flow on the day of our wedding. Erica offered excellent direction, but was also able to be unobtrusive and melt into the background, so we felt very comfortable interacting with each other, our family, and our guests, without being super-conscious of the fact that our picture was being taken. We received all the standard, posed photographs we wanted, as well as more fun, creative, and candid photographs. I've been frustrated or intimidated by other photographers (such as at other weddings I've been in), but Erica's photographs are excellent, and her personality is warm and patient, making her a joy to work with. Erica is very reliable, provides high-quality service, and I highly recommend her to others.

Erica was an amazing photographer to work with. She makes everyone feel comfortable, and had absolutely no problems with a rather eccentric list of required shots. (I am the bride in the canoe in her sample pictures)

She managed not only to capture images, but to capture moments. It is possible to relive my wedding moment by moment, through her photographs. They turned out so much better than I ever could have anticipated.

Fifty years from now I will still have her amazing photographs to remind me of my Wedding day. Thank You Erica!!

A friend of ours recommended Erica to us for the wedding. I looked at her photos online and fell in love with her style. Immediately upon meeting Erica, I knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding. She is inviting, warm, and energetic (not to mention her photos are stunning). She took my ideas and thoughts and brought them to life. Erica is amazing. Her work is amazing...whether its just a pic from the dance floor or a pose from the couple, they all turn out awesome!! It rained and was very windy the day of our wedding, making it very difficult to take pics in a nice outside area, but she made the best of it. All the photos that were takin, no matter the location, came out amazing. I have ALOT of people who ask who did our photos because they LOVE them.
To top it all off, she is very patient and laid back but at the same time alot of fun!!! It can get very frustrating for a photographer and I been in many weddings where they were'nt so kind, but Erica was the complete opposite. We even had her do a family photo session after the wedding with our kids. They are amazing too! All around a 5 star photographer and well worth every penny!!!!!!

Erica was great! She was very laid back and calm, but still managed to produce wonderful work. We love our photos and working with Erica. She was very responsive to emails, calls, and text messages. Erica and her partner did an amazing job on my wedding photos. There was alot going on and I was surprised they could keep up with all of it. Erica and I were able to make a reasonably priced custom package and she was very flexible considering I was an out-of-town bride. I recommend her services to anyone in the Syracuse area!
