Wedding Bliss, Thanks to Liz & Alison!

Elegant Aura in Massachusetts made our wedding day absolutely flawless. From start to finish, Liz and Alison's attention to detail and dedication to making our dream wedding a reality were truly remarkable. They guided us through every step of the planning process, from finalizing details with our vendors to creating a timeline that ensured everything ran smoothly on the big day. They helped us so much in making decisions about the timeline that we didn't even know we needed to make. In fact, they helped us plan so well, we were running EARLY during the lead up to the ceremony! Thanks to Liz & Alison's professionalism and calm energy, our wedding day was 100% stress-free (even during the false fire alarm!), beautiful, and filled with precious moments we'll cherish forever. Fabulous Full Wedding Planning from a Distance!

You never know how much detail goes into planning a wedding until you begin, and Liz and her team were there for every detail from the start! My husband and I live in Chicago and got married on Cape Cod, so she helped organize us with an overall wedding planning timeline, provide vendor options that met our style and budget, interact with vendors to ask the questions we didn’t know to ask, review contracts, and ease any of our concerns, worries, or questions with a phone call. What I appreciated the most was that she was always accessible and very responsive to any inquiry that I had and was flexible when we were on the East Coast to meet in-person for our rentals and tasting visits! I am a detail-oriented person, who likes to work ahead of schedule, and Liz and her team made me feel like ours was the only wedding they were planning. Not only did they help with the details for the ceremony and reception, but Liz and Olivia worked tirelessly to find us a rehearsal dinner/welcome party venue that met our needs. When it came to the wedding weekend, I knew we were in great hands, as she worked seamlessly with our venue coordinator and even took on another role, our videographer, as ours got in a car accident on the way to the church ceremony. She filmed the whole thing on her phone, which she ensured got to the videographer, while also continuing to ensure everything ran smoothly! Her presence kept me calm throughout the day, and if there was anything not going to plan, she ensured I didn’t know about it! She went above and beyond throughout the weekend and stayed late after the reception to help my family pack up the beautiful flowers and any personal items. My one regret is not getting a photo with her, as throughout this process, I’ve been able to lean on her for support countless times (as has my mom!), and I will forever be grateful! Excellent Advice and a Pleasure to Work With!

Hiring Liz at Elegant Aura was one of the best decisions we made in planning our son's east coast wedding celebration! She held my hand through months of questions and planning, and she listened and responded to what our son and his fiancé (who live on the west coast) wanted. Olivia handled the on-site details and day-of management, and she was phenomenal, too! Our son and his wife were so appreciative of her attention on their day, and I could just enjoy the celebration. We couldn't have been happier with Liz and Olivia.

We couldn't have done it without Liz

Where so I start?? I don't think my wedding planning process or my wedding day would've been so smooth and effortless without the help of Liz and Olivia.

A little background on myself. I am someone who is super organized, OCD, and has had her wedding planned since she was 5! When I got engaged I thought I would be perfectly fine and wouldn't need a wedding planner. My mom reached out to Elegant Aura because she wanted to make sure we didn't worry about one single thing during our planning process and on our wedding day.

THANK GOD she did it. Liz was an absolute life saver, especially when the pandemic came around and we had to postpone our wedding. Liz was always there when we needed her. From my endless emails of questions, concerns, and worries, she always seemed to have the answer and calmed me down. She was there for several meetings with our vendors, check on contracts for us, and even put together a timeline for our wedding process and a budget sheet for our reference.

When our big day arrived OF COURSE it poured, because that's the luck of a COVID bride right?? Liz was there for my fiance and I every second we needed her along with her partner Olivia. Despite the rain, the day was absolutely incredible and people are still talking about it a month later.

A heartfelt thank you to Liz for being a huge support system during a very important moment in my life. I can't thank you enough for being there when I needed you and always reaching out to several vendors when I had questions. I know our day wouldn't have been this perfect without you. WE LOVE YOU!!

Liz is the absolute BEST!

Liz is the absolute BEST! We hired her to pull together our elopement in Cape Code in Sept 2020 and we had the best experience working with her. She helped us pick a ceremony location, recommended the very best photographer, hair, make-up, video, flowers and limo! Everything turned out perfect. She responded to all our emails timely and even was the officiant for our wedding (and did a great job!)! Plus she is super personable and we really enjoyed our time working and talking with her. IF you want your wedding to be everything you dreamed of, hire Liz!

The best!!!

Liz is ***the best***. Her professional is matched only by her warmth, optimism, and solution focus. Liz planned our wedding in Sept 2020 (caution: corona bride). Her transparent approach was exactly what we needed. No matter what happened (cancelled venues, cancelled vendors, new state guidelines, travel restrictions), Liz helped us carry out our intimate, 13-person wedding. Before a problem occurred, Liz had ideas for a back up plan. If she was nervous or stressed, she never showed it. She steadily lead us up to our wedding, and on the day she even picked up the cake! Throughout the day, she kept us **on time** and kept everything moving smoothly. All vendors knew what to do thanks to her thorough communication. Also, she knows all of the best vendors. Incredible team, flawless day!

Liz and her team are truly INCREDIBLE and made our wedding day (and the whole planning process) straightforward and manageable. We started working with Liz about 17 months before the wedding, and I could tell from our initial meeting that she was extremely professional, organized, experienced, and friendly. She was always prompt and responsive to my many questions, and helped keep us on track with selecting vendors. I am a student and Liz was extremely flexible with my schedule. Once we shared our vision with her, she ran with it and really made our style shine through. She helped us find high-quality vendors that we probably wouldn’t have found alone, and she coordinated with them to ensure everyone was on the same page. She attended many of our vendor meetings and asked all the right questions to make sure we were getting what we wanted! Especially in the weeks leading up to the wedding, Liz’s help was crucial. I can’t imagine dealing with wedding planning alone! Liz kept track of every single detail and probably made magic happen behind the scenes that we don’t even know about! And the end result was a perfect wedding day (we were ready for something to go slightly wrong, but NOTHING did)! We also worked with Olivia for our ceremony rehearsal, and she was fabulous as well. We highly recommend Elegant Aura!

Best decision we made was to work with Elegant Aura!

I honestly can't say enough about Liz and Elegant Aura!!! We got married in a very small private ceremony and wanted someone to plan our post-wedding celebration for all of our friends and family. Liz was highly recommended by a friend, so I reached out to her immediately. From our first conversation through the execution of our reception, I knew she was the perfect fit! Liz is so talented, caring, extremely personable and just a true pleasure to work with! She understood exactly what I wanted and created an evening more beautiful than I imagined. And best of all, it was stress-free for me! Planning such an important event can be very overwhelming (and I plan corporate events for a living). I truly believe that I would not have been able to do this by myself. Knowing Liz was on top of all of the details let me enjoy myself and was worry free. Kind and Professional

I married on June 30th, 2018. Liz was an exceptional event planner. Her style is both elegant and adorable, when looking at her website I knew she would be an amazing fit for me. She was so responsive and reliable. She new exactly what to say to me, my husband and parents to reassure us about our plans. She was extremely attentive and always got back to me right away (even when my wedding was a year away). She had a way about her that kept everyone calm. I had a big vision for my wedding that included many little details and parts and she somehow understood it and provided me with incredible ideas. On the day of my wedding she was so professional. I'm not sure if anything went wrong that day, but if it did I have no idea about it. I am someone who is typically late, however, she kept me on time so subtly that I never felt overwhelmed. My wedding day looked spectacular. I wish we could do everything all over again because I miss it so much! We really enjoyed getting to know Liz and hope to stay friends! I highly recommend her and wouldn't pick any other vendor for the job!

Liz and her team went above and beyond at every step in our wedding planning and on the day of. Liz is such a gem of a person and made all of our stresses fade knowing that we had her on our side. Oh my goodness, where to even begin. Liz is AMAZING! We were married in December at the Omni Parker House and hired Liz late summer/early fall for coordination. The venue offered their own designated event coordinator, but nothing can replicate a wedding coordinator, the value cannot be matched. Liz anticipated every single possible need of ours often times before I even realized it existed, she was involved in all the coordinator and communication with all the vendors leading up to the wedding and followed up to make sure they had everything they needed (timeline, location details, payment, etc.) to make our day perfect. Liz's assistant planner, Olivia, was also amazing on the day of and helped make the day perfect. I was so sad when our wedding was over because it meant I didn't get to talk to Liz everyday! Liz is a professional, she knows the industry, she knows the players, she knows the games and she knows exactly what her clients need. I think she knew my vision better than I did! I was a super organized bride, with an event coordinator provided by the venue and still found Liz to be the single most valuable vendor of our entire wedding planning process! Prior to hiring Liz, I wasn't totally sold on the wedding coordinator idea because of my diligence in planning and the venue coordinator that was provided, as a result I set extremely high expectations for what kind of value she could add and she absolutely, 100% blew them away. If you're doubting a coordinator and/or doubting if Liz is the one for you-- talk to her, meet her, share your vision and see if its a match because she will make your wedding day (and the months leading up to it) way less stressful, painless and absolutely perfect in every way you imagined! You will be sad when its over because you don't get to work with Liz day in and day out! She executed our dream wedding and we could not be more grateful. Liz, we could not have done it without you-- thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I was not completely convinced that I needed a wedding planner when I first started planning my wedding. After getting further into my planning adventure, I decided it may be beneficial and started researching. After speaking with a few planners, I decided on Liz with Elegant Aura and it was the best decision of my entire wedding planning journey.

After our initial meeting, I instantly felt more calm and confident about my wedding. This trend continued throughout the following year. Liz met with me whenever I needed and answered all emails usually within minutes! When I felt like I was getting a little crazy, she would reassure me. When I needed help making decisions, she was there with sound advice. I ended up using her recommendations for hair, makeup, florist, and DJ and they were all FANTASTIC! She always made sure I was on track with the planning timeline and helped me manage the budget throughout the process.

The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Liz and Olivia coordinated all of the vendors, worked wonderfully with the venue manager, and were there for me whenever I had questions. If there were any issues, I was certainly not aware of them. From my eyes, they day went off without a hitch thanks to Liz and Olivia.

From Mother of the Bride:
From the moment I talked with Liz on the phone and then met her in person, I knew that she and Elegant Aura would be just what we needed: someone with wonderful ideas and a calm, composed manner to soothe any jangled nerves on our daughter’s wedding day. As my husband and I were going to be traveling out of the country for 5 months just prior to the wedding, we needed someone who could work with us more than 9 months in advance and primarily on the wedding day as a Day Of Coordinator. And the wedding would be held in our backyard in MA while our daughter and her fiancée lived in AZ. We needed someone who could see any problems with the planning and identify any forgotten or omitted tasks. We also needed someone who was creative with a wealth of ideas and experience.

Creativity AND an attention to detail is what Liz and her company provided us. For example, I had bought a 4x4’
sateen fabric in hunter green, one of the colors of the day. On the day of the wedding, I offered the fabric to Liz to use however she wanted. She chose to use it on the 10 person white table clothed head table to outline the area where the bride and groom would sit. It was very effective and added distinction to the head table. Another example, when we met with Liz two months before the wedding she and Olivia came with a three ring binder with tabs and all the pertinent papers organized. Liz could quickly find the contract or email that she was looking for.

In short, Liz was at all times diplomatic and professional. She exceeded our expectations in every way. It was such a joy to have Liz with us on my daughter’s wedding day.

Liz came highly recommended from another well-known service provider to us. After our first visit with her, we selected Liz as a wedding planner for our daughter’s wedding this summer for 2 events: a Friday evening Indian Mandhava ceremony and Saturday afternoon cross-cultural wedding ceremony in Lincoln, MA. The key was that she would be able to work with us effectively as we reside in New York area.

Liz is an ultimate professional. She is a well-experienced wedding/event planner with good connections in Boston area. Her experience includes planning for varied cultural celebrations. She presents herself well and provides sound input in various issues that always arises in such events including those events held at private venues. Her follow-up is on target. Given her success, experience and knowledge of Boston area, she is extremely well organized, responsive and works cooperatively with all service providers, while keeping clients’ needs as priority. We appreciated her leadership in coordinating logistics with other service providers. Without repeating, I echo many qualities as indicated in previous reviews, notably her honesty, her integrity and her priority/vision to make this event a successful celebration. She stitched the various parts of the mosaic events so beautifully that all of us enjoyed the celebrations without any interruptions or hiccups! Her assistant never once flinched at what was being asked of her. We are appreciative for everything Liz did
in pulling together this 2-day celebration and that will stay with us for a long time!

This was my second marriage so I had the value of previous experience to know that I wanted to invest in a wedding planner this time around. I used google to help me locate a few planners in my area and from my first contact with Liz to the last everything was perfect! We hired Liz as our month of planner--I was very invested in doing the bulk of the planning myself but was happy to hand it all over as the big day drew near. My husband and I wanted to make sure that our wedding was fun and relaxed with pops of glam and elegance (the pops of glam and elegance were my idea...not sure those mattered to my husband lol). I was up in my room all morning with my bridesmaids getting ready but the whole time just curious to see what was happening with the decor and other details of our venue. When I entered it was AMAZING! It was my vision brought to life. As the day/evening rolled on everything just unfolded seamlessly. Our guests continue to rave about how much fun they had at our wedding! We are so grateful that we chose Elegant Aura to help us pull it all together.

Liz from ElegantAura was amazing with the amount of work she did in helping us find the appropriate vendors, working with various vendors during work hours, getting us the best options, and being on top of things in terms of wedding timeline needs. She was great in helping us figure out small details, like how to phrase our wording on invites, sensitive emails, and wedding programs. Liz knew who to contact and was well-acquainted with how the industry works in terms of price tags, services, and typical service time needs. She was also very honest when it came to evaluating vendors that were not great for what we were looking for. Liz was very accommodating with communication time and methods, especially with planning in the winter when we had a few virtual meetings over the internet. We gave her a short timeline to worth with, but she came out and handled it seemingly effortlessly.

The best decision we made while planning our wedding was, in general, getting a wedding planner. The best decision, in particular, was working with Liz.

We had a great time working with Liz to plan our July 2016 wedding outside of Boston. We had some unique challenges; we live about 10 hours away and had to plan almost the entire thing via emails and phone calls. Liz was a consummate professional; she knew the terrain, understood what we were looking for, and linked us up with vendors who were able to realize it. Videographer with a drone? Yep. Ethically-sourced chocolate fountain? Check. Matching black Suburbans? No problem.

Liz helped manage expectations, was a diplomat with our families, and was air-traffic-control on the big day. Could not have been happier with her work!

There is no way to describe Liz and her amazing talents other than to say she is the best by far. From the time we met I knew that she was going to be the planner for me. She is personable and has a calming presence about her. My husband and I hired Liz as a "Partial Coordinator” and it was perfect for our small wedding. She had the best suggestions for vendors and I absolutely loved her style! Liz helped me create a design for the day that was magical. My now-husband and I debated whether we needed a wedding planner when we were first thinking about our wedding and, boy, am I glad we decided to go with Liz and her team at Elegant Aura! Liz literally saved our wedding day (and our sanity) when we ended up having to change venues 3 months before our wedding. While my now-husband and I were freaking out about finding a new venue, Liz stayed calm and managed to calm us down as well. Not only that, but she found us several good options on such short notice and we were able to find a new venue that worked out better than the first. Liz is everything that you want in a wedding planner- organized, creative, knowledgeable, and so willing to go above and beyond to make your wedding everything you've dreamed it would be. She was great about accommodating our schedules with both of us having full-time jobs, such as always being willing to have phone calls with us at 8 o'clock at night. By the end of wedding planning, Liz knew our personalities and taste so well that she would send us ideas about decor that were so spot on and we never would have thought of ourselves. Liz made it so we could relax and just enjoy ourselves on our wedding day, knowing that she was taking care of everything behind the scenes and that she wouldn't let anything fall through the cracks. If you're looking for a wedding planner, or are wondering if you should hire one, you will not be sorry that you decided to work with Elegant Aura; They are worth every penny!

We cannot say enough about Liz and Elegant Aura! When we first started planning our wedding, we didn't think we would hire a professional planner. But as we got closer to the big day, we realized how much we needed to do and got completely overwhelmed, so we wanted someone who could guide us along the way and help us iron out all the details. Liz was amazing to work with. She was incredibly responsive, listened to what we wanted, and made the last few months of planning as smooth as can be! She helped us find some of the vendors that we still needed, and was willing to coordinate with the vendors we had already hired. We were also so happy to have someone there the day of to help us with last minute details. She kept the ceremony and reception running smoothly and according to the timeline. All in all, we are so happy that we decided to work with Liz. She helped give us the day of our dreams, and we would highly recommend her!

We were beyond thrilled with our decision to work with Liz as a month of coordinator for our wedding. She helped us achieve our vision and was incredibly helpful providing suggestions, ideas and support along the way. From the moment we hired her, Liz jumped in with with incredibly detailed support to help us get all our ducks in a row. She then followed up on multiple ideas we had mentioned, and helped us to navigate a web of complex vendor relations and details we didn't even know we had to plan for. She helped us manage a very last minute weather-related change which had several implications, and helped stay on top of the so many details leading up to the event. At the event, she helped us stay on target and we knew we were in great hands! Most importantly, she was calm, enthusiastic and supportive at each step of the way. When we started the wedding planning process we had one major problem: Neither of us knew how to plan a wedding or even where to begin. My wife is from China. In American culture, the bride generally plans the wedding. However, in Chinese culture, the groom plans the wedding. We had no experience and new a wedding planner would help! Then, Liz of Elegant Aura came into our lives! We met Liz in May of 2015 and during that time told her that our wedding day was to be in the beginning of August in 2015. Not only was our wedding here in America in 3 months, but we were also planning a wedding in China, too. The wedding in China required both of us to take a trip to China during the middle of planning the American wedding. Rather than trying to talk us out of the day for the American wedding, with it being only 3 months away, she told us that it can definitely be done and she would love to help us along the way. Liz seemed to be motivated by this challenge. She gently noted that the shorter time frame would cause us to be busier during the wedding process, but it is honesty like this that makes Liz such a great wedding planner – and teammate! Liz guided us along the process every step of the way and effortlessly incorporated our 2-week absence while we traveled to China into the overall plans. She helped push us to complete goals and always in a gentle and helpful way to keep us on track with our tight timeline. Wedding planning can be stressful at times, but planning a wedding together with my wife was an enjoyable experience giving us a chance to work and grow together. And when things got too difficult or overwhelming, we could always reach out to Liz with many, many questions, concerns or suggestions and she was always willing to help and offer her advice based on years of past experience, which was something we definitely lacked. Overall, hiring Liz as our wedding planner was a great choice and now we feel as if she has become a close friend!

Our wedding would not have happened if it weren't for Elegant Aura. Liz and Alison are amazing! They were instrumental in our planning process, decision making, and keeping our sanity levels in check. They check every detail and make sure you get the wedding of your dreams. We LOVE Elegant Aura!! Liz was our planner and handled everything with grace, elegance and a big smile on her face. Elegant Aura made our day perfect from start to end! I world very closely with Liz Quill when planning my wedding. When I first met her, I was really impressed with Liz's knowledge and professionalism and knew right off the bat I wanted Elegant Aura to plan my wedding! From listening to my fears of everything I did not want to happen to helping me choose between different linens, Elegant Aura was there every step of the way to guide me in planning my wedding and enlighten me in areas where I had no clue what I was doing. Elegant Aura made wedding planning as easy and stress free as possible! After a couple of months of booking my venue, I suddenly began to find things about the space that I did not like. However, Elegant Aura linked me with some of the most amazing vendors, most of which I would have never have found on my own, who all came together to make the ballroom breathtaking! I also began to run into issues with the venue on how things would run the day of the wedding. Despite how much the venue did to want to do some things that I really wanted to have done, Liz advocated for me and made sure that everything we wanted was executed the day of. Despite the many clients they had, by the time we got close to my wedding, Liz had gotten to know me so well, that she could already predict what I would or wouldn't like! I felt as though I had known Liz for years, and from the bottom of our hearts, we will miss working with her and having her around! If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't choose any other wedding planner! Thanks to Elegant Aura, they transformed my ideas into reality and they made my wedding day from what seemed would be an absolute nightmare, into a stunning, dream come true! I am incredibly happy I booked Elegant Aura to help with planning our wedding, absolutely no regrets! I haven't been in too many weddings in the past, so I had no idea what I was doing as a bride - Elizabeth Quill helped me along the way and made things so much easier! I booked her for the month-of package, and it made a world of difference for me personally. Our wedding wasn't at a venue, it was outside on our family's land with limited resources (ex: didn't have running water) - so we had to plan out what supplies to bring, map out where all vendors should be, etc. It was a lot to think about and I was feeling very overwhelmed getting closer to the date, but Liz was great with offering up tips and advice on how to handle it all, as well as coordinating the schedule and everyone in our bridal party. She especially was very helpful on the day-of, keeping everything on track. The most helpful item she handled was handing out the checks we wrote out to our vendors the day-of. I personally am so happy that's one thing I didn't have to worry about so I could fully enjoy myself the entire night. I'd absolutely recommend Elegant Aura to any bride out there still thinking of hiring a wedding planner, totally worth the money!

It me a bit of convincing to explain to my fiance (now husband) that we really did need a wedding planner, but after the whole event went off without a hitch, he understood that Liz and her team at Elegant Aura made a world of difference. Since most brides are doing this for the first (and hopefully only) time, it's extremely helpful to have someone who knows what questions to ask, what seems weird or normal about a vendor contract, and how much things should cost. Liz knows all this and then some, and truly went out of her way to find vendors we loved and coordinate with them throughout our wedding planning. Right before the ceremony, Liz had come to get me from the car and delivered me to my parents who both walked me down the aisle. We were about to begin the procession with all eyes on us, and I realized my nose was running. Neither my mom or dad had a tissue with them, and I couldn't exactly wipe it on my dress, so Liz miraculously produced a piece of fabric and saved the moment. That's just one example of the countless details and small little things she helped us accomplish. We had the best wedding ever and thank her immensely.

I hired Elegant Aura and had Liz for the Month of Wedding Management plan. When I hired Liz, I already had all my vendors chosen so I utilized her for scheduling, putting out some fires (which she did ever so graciously), and day of services. I am so glad I had Liz, because my venue isn't one of those "one size fits all" places and I basically had to do everything on my own- having Liz made things a lot easier. She is sweet, kind, and caring as well as professional and organized. She always answered my questions promptly and kindly even when towards the end I started to feel stressed and overwhelmed. I had a few issues with one of my vendors and Liz stepped in, dealt with the issues head on in an extremely professional manner, and basically advocated for me when I didn't feel like I could for myself. I loved working with her and she set up my wedding beautifully and just like I envisioned. I highly recommend her and wish I had hired her right from the beginning!

Liz is the best. Wedding planner, best friend, sister, and confidant, she has literally helped me with every single aspect of wedding (and life) planning. She is always available and always positive. She has answers and solutions to every possible question and problem a bride could ever have. She remembers things I forget. She keeps me organized and focused. Liz has a super awesome way of supporting my vision within our budget and taste. She gives encouragement and makes the overwhelming task of wedding planning not just manageable but fun!

I am pretty sure she has other clients, but she makes me feel like my wedding is her only one! She literally makes you feel like a princess! Liz is like a beautiful young fairy god mother!

I genuinely do not know what I would do without her!

I will update this review after my wedding in 3 weeks, but I know that everything will be perfect in Liz's hands!

Of all the decisions we made in the year and a half of being engaged, hiring Elegant Aura as our wedding planners was by far the best decision. Alison and Liz were there with us through every step of the process, whether it was something big like picking the venue, or something small like a phone call late at night asking AGAIN how to stuff the invitations. The tasks they performed fell so far outside of “just planning the wedding” and really included getting to know us as a couple, our likes and dislikes, the important facts about our families, what stressed us out, and what didn’t. We can honestly say that without Elegant Aura, our wedding would not have been even half as special as it was. All of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was, the attention to detail, the little touches- it was all Elegant Aura. The best part is that we didn’t stress even a little bit on the actual day of the wedding, because we knew we could trust Alison and Liz to handle everything. It sounds incredibly corny, but it’s true: we hired wedding planners, and got two great friends out of it. If you are even SLIGHTLY on the fence about hiring planners- DO IT, as long as it’s Elegant Aura. You will not regret it for even a second.

Amazing! Alison and Liz coordinated the biggest and most special day of my life...and dealt with all of the millions of details while planning for said day!!

My mom and I relied on Elegant Aura for vendor contract reviews, rentals for seating, and for general de-stressing!! That made us laugh while seamlessly tending to all of our requests, emails and questions.

We found Elegant Aura very last minute and booked their full service package - they are simply amazing! They are very considerate and provided many affordable options for us. Also they are expert at figuring out what the bride wants, have fantastic taste and respect the couple's opinion. Planning for a wedding can be so hectic (esp. the groom is not in US and the bride is new to US ....)　and we are always grateful that we have them since they have made our life so much easier :) Also the wedding is very well organized and all our guests are happy with the evening!

Elegant Aura worked as our day of planners for our wedding in November. Alison and Liz are two people who truly enjoy and excel at their work. They met and exceeded our needs every step of the way. From consulting on the venue and helping build our timeline for the day they had insight and organization that we could only dream of.
On our wedding day they were on top of everything making sure it went smoothly. We received compliments on their performance from the other vendors as well as our own guests. We would highly recommend Elegant Aura to anyone in the market for a dedicated and professional event planner.

We are so happy that we had EA to help us out with our wedding and reception! We had both a very short engagement (5 months) and very non-traditional ideas for every part of the process. Liz and Alison completely “got” us, and helped fulfill every strange and off-beat request. It started with them putting together a tailored package for us, since we didn’t fall neatly into any of their packages. We had two events: a small ceremony and a large picnic a month later. So, we needed day of services at the picnic rather than at the wedding, but we needed vendors and planning services for both events. They vetted all of our venues/vendors for us, ensuring we only met with people who fit our dates and style. We wanted stay true to our ideas and do everything our way, and while we bumped into “wedding traditionalists” constantly (i.e, a venue coordinator who was horrified we weren’t having white table linens and floral centerpieces at our casual, outdoor picnic), they consistently thwarted any frou-frou intentions and ensured everything was the way we wanted. They handled every twist and turn calmly, personably, and left us without a thing to stress about. Our ceremony was lovely and intimate, and our reception was a hit. Numerous guests told us the picnic was the best “wedding event” they had ever attended, and without Liz and Alison, it wouldn’t have been possible. One thing is certain: organizing two events in less than 6 months is a feat! It was a lot of work for us even with Liz and Alison doing so much of the upfront work around vendors, contracts, etc., etc. We never would have been able to pull it off without them - their connections in the industry, attention to detail, tasteful style, and ability to manage all the details (and people) involved were crucial to our ability to get married and enjoy our party. My husband said it was the best money we spent during the process, and considering how delicious the food was at our picnic, that’s saying something!

Elegant to say the least! Alison and Liz are professional, resourceful, organized, accessible, inspirational and above all really a pleasure to be around/ work with! I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to them both. Every step of the planning was about as easy as it could have been. Ideas where thoughtful, creative and always 100% in line with direction we were looking to go. The process was mapped out from start to finish, so it was always very easy to see where we were in the planning process and what was upcoming.

I’d like to expand a bit more on the note of how accessible they always were. Clearly these ladies are busy and have numerous clients, but I ALWAYS heard back from them quickly! I felt like I had their undivided attention. Weddings can be emotionally charged events for all parties involved and they helped me navigate those sometimes inevitable instances in a major way.

I loved every vendor they presented. Each one was professional, came highly recommended and was very easy to work with.

The wedding weekend could not have gone smoother, not a hitch or blip! And while they coordinated, organized and moved mountains for me, they did it all in such a way that we were truly able to enjoy and be present on our special day. Every promise was kept, every detail was in place and everyone was so calm and lovely. It really set a tone for a wedding I’m still receiving compliments on! Elegant Aura did a fantastic job with my day-of wedding planning. While only doing day-of planning, Liz and Alison were a part of my planning far before the actual day. They were in communication with me ahead of my date to iron out all the details behind the scenes. Communication was quick and easy and they also did a great job preparing an itinerary and assisting with our rehearsal. On our actual wedding day they were like my fairy godmothers! I was looking for planners to help me relax and not have to worry about any details and this is exactly what they did for me. If there were any issues that arose on the date, I never knew because they took care of everything and let us be the bride and groom. I found Liz and Alison extremely professional but also fun and easy to work with. Thank you again!

We used Elegant Aura Events for wedding day management, and Alison and Liz did a fantastic job of making sure that the day's events ran smoothly. Our guests even commented that unlike other weddings they had attended, it seemed like every detail and moment of the day was seamless. I felt like I could really relax and enjoy my wedding without a worry!

Once Alison stepped in to help gather together the last details of our planning, I realized how much stress I would have saved myself if I had only had the foresight to use Elegant Aura's services right from the beginning. It was a huge relief to have someone professional, experienced, and confident attend vendor meetings with me, review contracts, and make sure that all expectations were met.

On the wedding day, Liz kept a firm timeline and made sure our out-of-town guests were shuttled from hotel to wedding venue without any problems. If a member of my family showed the slightest grumpy expression, Liz would swiftly come to the rescue, asking if she could help. She also tended to small details I hadn't thought of, such as finding a vase to transfer some flowers from the cocktail reception to dinner. I'm sure there are so many other things Liz took care of that I didn't notice but should be grateful for.

My family told me that hiring Alison and Liz was the best decision I made, and I have to agree. Our day would not have been the same without their thoughtfulness and attention to detail.

I cant say enough amazing things about Alison and Liz. I am a wedding photographer and have seen TONS of coordinators since I have been in business. Alison and Liz are by FAR the best that I have ever worked with. Whenever clients ask if I have recommendations I am sure to give their name. So when it was my turn to get married having Liz and Alison there was a LIFE saver. I always thought that because I am in the business that everything would be perfect and smooth. For the most part it was but the one minor bump in the road we had they were ON TOP OF IT. I mean I didnt even have to worry one single bit. Just having them there was a huge sense of relief. Eric and I knew we had nothing to worry about. They are so comforting that having them there made the day even better. Whether it was having them run to go grab my bouquet, gather family for photos, calling the band to check on things they never skipped a beat. If you are looking for help with your planning you're totally crazy not to use them. You would not regret it for one single second!! I was actually sad when they left my wedding!

It was a pleasure working with Liz and Alison at Elegant Aura events. They went out of their way to make sure no detail went unnoticed. Not only did they take care of logistical details, but they were helpful dealing with stressful family issues. The wedding went off without a hitch and I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the Boston area.
For my wedding I was going for a whimsical, vintage, garden feel. They understood the aesthetic I had in mind and had great ideas to help execute the theme. I was told by several people that my wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to. It could not have been pulled off without Alison and Liz’s hard work. I tend to be a very detail-oriented planner and don’t particularly like to delegate, but Alison and Liz made it easy (and fun!) to trust them, hand over the reins and actually enjoy the whole wedding experience!

Throughout the whole planning process, they were always a phone call or e-mail away with answers to any question I had. They accompanied me on meetings with our vendors and site visits and always came with good ideas, a lot of enthusiasm and big smiles. The day of the wedding went absolutely perfectly, and I have Alison and Liz to thank for that. Every detail we had discussed was carried out seamlessly. Liz came to my house to check on me as I got ready with the bridal party, and Alison was there to greet us at the wedding venue as the car arrived. They waited with me as I prepared to walk down the aisle, ushered people to the right photo spots and even helped me Shout! out the mud stains on my train after dragging it through the garden ceremony. My friends and family loved them and we all felt like we were working with old friends.

I absolutely loved planning the wedding, from the day we got engaged through our actual wedding day. Alison and Liz made the experience fun and exciting; they eased the stress and made me feel comfortable and secure that everything was taken care of. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an amazing and personal wedding experience, thanks to Alison and Liz ours was more perfect than we could have ever hoped!

I cannot say enough good things about Alison, Liz, and the rest of Elegant Aura. I'll say below what I e-mailed to Alison shortly after our wedding:
"You were such a calming, organized, reassuring force from the very beginning. You helped find us the exact venues we wanted, hooked us up with all the most amazing vendors, were totally flexible when we introduced vendors into the mix whom you hadn't worked with before, and were always so responsive.

The day of COULD NOT HAVE GONE SO SMOOTHLY without you and your incredible team! I have an image emblazoned in my mind of you basically force feeding me a banana, but ever so kindly. You were on top of all the timing, neither me nor Nick ever felt like we had to deal with anything except for our own tears, our parents felt like they could enjoy the day because of you...honestly, you were a fairy godmother that day. Seeing your smiling, encouraging face opening the doors as my parents and I walked into the ceremony honestly calmed me and gave me so much confidence for the day going forward. I also am aware of all the clean up and such that you and your team did the night of and after the wedding, and we are so incredibly appreciative of that."

Alison and Liz met with us so many times before the wedding and were always organized with their notes and binders and ALWAYS enthusiastic. The team ran our rehearsal the day before and it gave everyone such a sense of reassurance. Elegant Aura is everything you want in a wedding coordinator: organized, smart, well-connected, professional yet accessible, and patient. However, what is remarkable about Alison and the rest of the team is their ability to connect. We miss Alison so much already, and everyone in the wedding party and in our immediate family felt like she and her team were part of the family.

When it came to planning our wedding, the best decision we made by far was to hire Liz and Alison. We decided to have a very short engagement and were worried that we wouldn't be able to find anything. We reached out to Liz and Alison. They were so responsive! We met a couple of days later and they both immediately understood the kind of wedding we envisioned. As soon as we told them we would hire them they hit the ground running! within 24 hours my inbox was full of options for venues. Within 2 weeks we had a venue! Liz and Alison put so much passion into their work and it shows. It was absolutely wonderful to work with them.

They were both with us every step of the way and they made themselves available to us at all times. Sometimes I would spend so much time on the phone with them that I started to feel guilty for taking up all of their time! They provided much needed support when dealing with difficult vendors and they took it upon themselves to handle any complication. Their dedication does not stop at the planning stages. On the day of our wedding they made sure everything was absolutely perfect! They were looking out after our every need, not to mention they came prepared to handle pretty much anything, they even had heel protectors for me and pins to fix the bustle on my dress!

All of our guests loved our wedding and most of them are still talking about what a great job they did!

Everything they did, they did with a big smile on their faces. When you work with them you can't help but have a great time! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a unique and personalized wedding, thanks to them ours was better than we could've imagined :-)

Alison! Words cannot express our gratitude. When we first started planning our wedding, we never imaged how crucial a role Elegant Aura wedding services would have provided. At first it was all so overwhelming and we didn’t know where to start. Most brides will say the planning process is a nightmare, but not for me. I have to admit I enjoyed every minute of it thanks to Alison’s guidance and planning tools (i.e. timeline, budget spreadsheets, vendor lists). Alison was always available to prep vendor questions, negotiate and navigate contracts, provide tips for saving money and help with creative ideas.

Thanks to Elegant Aura, our wedding day was perfect! We had a magical, unforgettable, and an extremely fun day. If there were any glitches that day, only Alison and Liz knew of them.

With the expertise of Elegant Aura, we were able to throw a party to remember forever…a day we enjoyed immensely and wish we could experience again and again!

I worked with Alison for over a year planning my wedding that took place last month. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish and I would not know what I would have done without her! She assisted us in every area of planning, came with us to necessary appointments, was there for me whenever I needed help, had a question, or just needed someone to vent to. She also came up with some fabulous ideas that definitely WOWed our guests!! (Living Statue!) She kept track of all the other vendors, confirmed with them prior to the wedding, and then made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be the day of the wedding. This definitely helped me not to stress out!

Alison and her staff were beyond helpful the day of the wedding! Everything was perfect because of them and all of guests continue to reave about what a fabulous wedding it was! I highly recommend Alison to anyone looking for help planning their wedding. She has different packages to fit everyone's different needs and is extremely flexible and will help you out with anything you need!! She was such a pleasure to work with :)

Olivia and Liz did a great job working through all of the details with us to make sure that the day went smoothly. They helped us double-check a lot of our plans, set up itineraries for our vendors, and kept in contact with those vendors as our needs changed. They were only Day-of planners for us, so most of the vendor selection and similar work was on us; they smoothly transitioned into our planning in the spring and helped us complete the wedding in the summer. Olivia was extremely helpful on-site for the rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony/reception; her assistant Julia was also helpful when called upon. When we booked Elegant Aura almost two years out from our August 2016 wedding, their reviews were great. We were looking for someone who could help with set up and tear down, since our ceremony venue only allowed for two hour rentals. At this time, we were told that was part of the services offered, and it was arbitrarily addressed in our contract. Throughout the process there were several red flags, such as complaints about other couples' decision making, etc., which made me second guess proceeding with Liz. However, my husband wanted to continue as although not much else from our contract had been fulfilled, we needed someone to help with set up. A month prior to the wedding, Liz told us that she would have to hire others to help her if we wanted any help with set up for the ceremony (aligning 60 chairs - although our contract included two staffers from Elegant Aura for the day of the wedding.) She ended up helping with an intern and her sister, although it caused so much unnecessary stress to worry about a month out. There were also several little things, such as consistently ignoring what we wanted and discussed several times with our coordinator and having Liz tell our coordinator something completely different from anything we wanted. Although we were in Boston and attempted to meet with Liz to give her the last instalment owing a month before the wedding, she asked us to just mail the cheque as per usual. After the wedding we received a few accusatory emails from Liz as she hadn't received the cheque. She had moved and not given us the forwarding address, so about a month later we received it, with a "can not forward" stamp on it. She did not apologize and did not handle the matter professionally at all. It seems that the most work Liz has done in regards to our wedding has been consistently posting pictures of it on Instagram, people still ask us exactly what she did, knowing the stress working with her caused the summer leading up to the wedding.
