Chariolette and Cecily were awesome !
During the months leading up to our wedding Chariolette was great at staying in contact via phone or email. We met several times along the way and she made it easy to discuss particular parts of the timeline. Charilotte helped to keep me calm when I felt overwhelmed by family drama ( couldn't be a wedding without it !) and when my wedding singer canceled a week before the wedding. The pricing was great, our venue had a planning team and we really didn't need her to take on the full planning task herself, however she was great at communicating with the venue on our behalf.
I was able to remain calm the day of because all of our vendors had been contacted prior to the day of our wedding and they had the timeline that was provided. Several of our vendors commented that this was one of the best wedding's they worked on because of the wedding planner.
The day of the wedding, it was easy to delegate what needed to be done. I felt no stress because everything was completed a week before the wedding. I wasn't running around the day of or day before the wedding. Charliotte and Cecily even went above and beyond to help fix my dress. I needed to have my corset readjusted and my help getting out of my heels and they were happy to help. By far I give Moments by Design an A+++++ !!Chariolette and Cecily were awesome !

Elegance by Design Events far exceeded our expectations for our wedding and reception event. Ms. Johnson and her staff worked with me from the very beginning to bring my vision for our wedding and reception to life. Not only did she work within our budget she provided helpful suggestions along the way to enhance the look and feel of our event. EBD helped with vendor selection which proved to be invaluable because the vendors she suggested were professional and was just as enthusiastic about making our event a success as we were. I can honestly say that I did not get stressed out with the details because EBD was there to work through it with me. On my wedding day everything went seamlessly, we were on time, the ceremony room looked like a beautiful dream sequence, colors were perfect and the reception was awesome! We partied all night long and my guests are still talking about our event,. I highly recommend EBD Events for concierge service, wedding planning or any event that you want to make an impression! Chariolette was one of the best things that happened to us on our wedding day! From the first time that I spoke to her on the phone inquiring about her services, she was very helpful and offered very useful information before I even hired her. Chariolette turned out to be a godsend, jumping right into it and taking over the challenging responsibility of coordinating a wedding. I immediately felt a load lifted off my shoulders when we hired her and I was completely confident and comfortable entrusting our wedding in her hands. We were so pleased with all of her hard work and couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator!Chariolette was one of the best things that happened to us on our wedding day! It was great working with Elegance by Design. Chariolette was awesome & she kept me calm the whole time. She gave me contact details of other vendors & gave me valuable suggestions. I don't know how she did it, but Chariloette was able to get me everyting that I wanted a alittle under my budget. Due to unforseen circumstances, I had to call my wedding off. I did not want to deal with a thing. Chariolette stepped in took care of everything for me and still checks in on me from time to time. I need to know a vendor can handle my needs the way I see fit. Friends had recommended Chariolett to and it was the BEST decision I made for my day of. Part of my job is to plan conferences, so I know a thing or two about details ;) Well, after speaking w/Chariolett and going over the program, nuts and bolts, I knew my wedding was in good hands. As a bride, on your special day, you do not want to be consulted on the timing of cutting the cake, the start time, the delivery of the flowers, where to put the guest book, did the apple cider get served, etc. Chariolett handled EVERY detail we had discussed in our pre-planning and walk-through with ease and professionalism; all I had to do was smile and enjoy my special day.
She's a joy to work with, gets the job done, gets your guests moving (they can be hard to move, like cattle), smiles all the while, and works very well with the other vendors. It was truly a pleasure working with Ms. Chariolett Johnson of Elegance by Design Events (EBD Events) with the planning and execution of our dad’s birthday celebration. My sister and I were late in the planning stages because we decided to give the event two months before his birthday; luckily, Ms. Johnson was in full speed searching for everything we needed for a successful event – venue, caterer, baker, DJ, decorations, etc. She assisted with site visits, invitation selection, and above all keeping us on a timeline to ensure that things were getting completed when they needed to be completed. Because of her attention to details and organizational skills, we were able to have an event that was filled with laughter, fun, and dancing throughout the evening.
We thank Ms. Johnson of EBD Events for all of her hard work because our Dad had a wonderful time enjoying and reminiscing with family and friends, and it is certainly a celebration we will all remember.

We loved Charolette. As a stressed out Bride to be, I could call her several times a day and each time she was calm and delightful and never made me feel like I was bothering her although in retrospect, I probably was. If anything went wrong at my reception, I never knew about it because she took care of EVERYTHING! She was so wonderful, that we just couldn't let her go, so we became friends and she even became a skincare client of mine for several years. On all of my next BIG events, Charolette will be the only person I contact that I can trust to help me for a flawless event.We loved Charolette.
