True Professional Who Can Manage Anything!

Kasie and the EFD Creative Team are truly the best! Due to Covid, we had the pleasure of hiring Kasie for a micro-wedding in 2020 and a vow renewal/reception in 2021. I don't think we could have survived without her! In a nutshell, she is a consummate professional with a positive vibe. She uses this positivity to manage difficult situations (and relatives). Her planning calls kept us on track and helped us think of things we would not have covered (even after reading wedding blogs and wedding planning books). Her "day of services" helped us really enjoy the event. If you hire Kasie, you will be getting a wedding planner, organizational guru and unofficial therapist to help you survive wedding madness! She is amazing!

Best decision you’ll make!!!

Kasie was AMAZING! She was detailed, organized, proactive, responsive and always had the biggest smile. Through changes due to Covid and other hiccups along the way, Kasie continued to be supportive and maintained a positive attitude. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her!

My daughter's wedding

Kasie was simply amazing. We started to plan for a July 2020 wedding at a Boston hotel, only to end up switching to a different hotel, for the following year. Through all the changes and uncertainty, Kasie was on it. She was well organized, easy to reach, incredibly knowledgeable and always cheerful. Any bride would be lucky to have her as their wedding planner.

Kasie is amazing!

We found EFD through a Facebook recommendation and could not have been happier! Planning our Massachusetts wedding from Austin, TX was tricky but knowing that Kasie was going to be there on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly gave us such ease. Our wedding was planned to be on the campus of the school that we met at which was incredible but not exactly the easiest wedding venue, as they don't host weddings. Kasie joined us for a site visit and thought of SO many questions that none of us would have ever considered - we were so grateful to have her there with us. Unfortunately due to COVID we had to postpone our June 2020 wedding and ultimately made the decision to elope in Austin. I will send every New England bride I know to EFD so they can have the incredible experience of working with Kasie!

Kasie is amazing!

We first spoke with Kasie 60 days before the wedding day when we decided to move our daughter's wedding from a hotel to our backyard. From that first conversation through the wedding day, Kasie was energized, positive, so knowledgable about all things wedding, and has a fabulous can-do attitude. For 60+ days, and especially throughout the wedding day, we kept saying "Thank goodness for Kasie!" We enjoyed every minute of the wedding while Kasie effortlessly coordinated and handled everything (including inevitable on-the-fly adjustments). If you are fortunate to work with Kasie, you will be thrilled!

Responsive, Organized, Amazing!

EFD was invaluable in planning our wedding, and Kasie was such a pleasure to work with! Planning a wedding in 2020 is no small feat, and Kasie made it feel seamless. 20 minutes before the ceremony, we found out there was an issue with our flight the next day. Kasie took over and spoke to the airline until everything was fixed. I can't say enough good things about our experience with EFD and would highly recommend them to anyone planning an event!

Such a wonderful team!

I can't say enough about how helpful and wonderful EFD Creative was as I was planning my wedding! Right from the beginning Kasie helped develop an ideal plan for my husband and I. We had a January wedding and the little details to make our day special and intimate were very important to us. She helped with every piece to make sure that we knew all of our options. Our ceremony was beautiful and we can't thank EFD Creative enough for the support!

Knowledgeable, Friendly, and Professional – A Must Hire!

Our family can't say enough about how absolutely amazing Kasie and EFD Creative are to work with! I can start by saying that Kasie had the most relevant information in the middle of the pandemic and advised us at a very early stage to get a back-up date in 2021 at our venue! If we hadn't, we really would struggled to reschedule the reception. We ended up having a small family wedding this year (and moving the big reception to next year). Kasie was flexible with us and adjusted our agreement to assist with both days for a small increase in price! Her advice is spot-on about timing and many other details we would have never considered! Having Kasie coordinate all of the vendors on the wedding day and problem solve several sticky situations really allowed us to just enjoy the wedding! Kasie's pre-wedding calls, timelines, and to-do lists were indispensable. She is extremely friendly and a consummate professional and I cannot imagine planning or executing another wedding without her! Looking forward to working with Kasie again next year for the "sequel wedding" event.

I researched and researched and researched, and I can safely say that I hit the jackpot finding Kasie. Our wedding would not have gone as smoothly without her expertise and leadership. She helped us prep a timeline over the course of a few months. Kasie was there for the rehearsal as well as our wedding day and was such a huge help. She has such an incredible personality and you could tell she truly cares about her clients. I was constantly thinking about the little details and worried I was missing something important. Plus my Mom kept asking me the status of everything and it was getting way too overwhelming. Then I started working with Kasie. She asked me a bunch of questions that uncovered some major pieces I had not considered. She helped me get organized and clear on what I had done, and everything I had left to do. It was great! I didn't want to show up at my wedding worried about anything, and I didn't! Now I look back and think I couldn't have done it without Kasie! I highly recommend EFD Creative!

Amazingly easy and seemless wedding planning

I was excited to get married, but as the planning started I could see there was so much that needed to be done, and I wanted my fiancée and I to enjoy it, so I was happy when we put our trust in EFD Creative. We started the planning with Edna, who took the time to get to know our style, and then we started looking for our venue! At first we thought we would get married in Maine (where my fiancée and I are from), but once we established exactly what our vision was, we knew the right venue was in Massachusetts at Tupper Manor. We loved the vibe and working with Edna on the vision was key to pulling everything together. Next came Kasie who worked with us on every detail. There was so much to cover and Kasie had our back. There was a million details, things we never even considered, but Kasie was on top of everything. Thank you both for making our pre-planning experience and wedding perfect!

EFD Creative got us organized

We started working with EFD Creative about a month before our wedding date and instantly felt more relaxed and confident with our plans. Kasie helped us create a timeline that covered every moment of the day. It was so detailed and clear that when we shared it with all of our vendors/wedding party, they immediately understood when and where everything would occur. You CANNOT find anyone better!

We worked with Kasie from EFD Creative - she was our day of coordinator, but man is she SO much more than that! Kasie is the most incredible person to have on your side while you plan a wedding! Not only will she answer any questions you have, but she goes above and beyond to make sure that your day is perfect. Unlike other day of coordinators who jump in for literally just the day, Kasie was incredibly hands on and involved (as much or as little as we wanted her to be) from the moment we started working together. She was by far the best decision we made for our wedding - aside from actually getting married! :) Kasie kept us sane, put us in touch with the right people, met with us a few times, hopped on late-night phone calls after we were done with our work day to talk through timing, worked with our vendors leading up to the big day to ensure they knew where they should be and when/had the final timeline, etc. I could go on and on about how amazing our experience was, but at the end of the day all I have to say is WOW! You really cannot go wrong with EFD Creative! Pick Kasie and you will not be sorry - the worst part is saying goodbye at the end because you feel like you have a new best friend that has to move on to help other people create their dream wedding!

EFD Creative is the best!

A big thank you to EFD Creative for making our family event so very special! Finding the venue was the hardest part because we needed to have just the right location. The Boston Harbor Hotel was the backdrop and it was perfect! All the vendors EFD brought in were excellent. We didn’t have to worry about a thing…not one! Edna created a very special intimate atmosphere for the 70 person event, from the lighting, florals to the smallest of details throughout. We now have the most beautiful memories we will always cherish thanks to this team!

Efd creative is amazing!

My sister's wedding this past summer went off without a hitch thanks to Edna, Kasie and the team at EFD Creative. From start to finish, the wedding party and guests had an amazing time celebrating and not worrying about details! Couldn't have done it without them

This is a review from the groom’s perspective: Edna and Kasie are excellent, the wedding definitely would not have happened without them. Initially, we had some incongruent ideas for our wedding, but they were the ones who provided a lot of the concrete contact and reviews that solidified our final product. The wedding management part was great and, we would have a continuing conversation throughout the process so that we can update each other, tell each other about other evolving thoughts for the wedding and also the plans of actions to tackle each new problem.
I think the best thing is that they are accommodating and understanding of concerns that not only the bride has, but also the ones the grooms might occasionally have (which is not many). Very hardworking during the wedding and very adaptive too to my requests for an impromptu speech.
In conclusion, good job Edna and Kasie! Thanks!

We absolutely loved working with Edna and Kasie to create the wedding of our dreams! From the beginning, everything was laid out clearly so we could not go wrong in terms of our budget. Thanks to Edna, we were successful in finding the perfect venue that had everything we wanted and that fit into our budget. From there, everything took off seamlessly! From the flowers, the rentals for the tables, the invitations, and the cake, all vendors were selected to match the exact vision we desired. Edna was essential for the helping to select the key elements of the design that made everything coordinate and match perfectly. When it was time for the practicalities of the wedding, Kasie jumped in to make the entire process stress free. Her amazing communication with myself and all the vendors made my life so much easier! She was extremely specific and punctual in all of the details regarding the timeline and the organization of the entire event. Her positive attitude throughout the process made this all helped to make this a relaxed and enjoyable process. Dream Team!

Kasie and Edna made the process so enjoyable! After getting a feel for our vision, they helped us build an incredible team of vendors. Great experience!!

Edna and Kasie are wonderful wedding planners! Edna is great at designing and Kasie is just perfect with handling the logistics aspect of the planning. My husband and I completely relied on them to do all the communications with the vendors and all we needed to do on our wedding day was to show up! Two examples that show how great they are - 1) After signing contracts with many of our vendors, my husband and I needed to change our wedding date due to a special circumstance. Edna and Kasie were able to reach out to the vendors and sort everything out THAT DAY with no issue at all. 2) We all hired Edna and Kasie for our rehearsal dinner featuring a Chinese tea ceremony. It was pouring that day, and Edna and Kasie did all the hard work of waiting in the rain for the guests and handing out umbrellas to them. Could not have planned our wedding without them!!

Amazing Wedding Planners!

I work full-time and both my fiancé and I have very busy schedules so we have little time to organize a wedding. We also had a lot of complexities with family and guests coming from all over, so when we thought about the whether or not to get a planner it was an easy decision.

I looked around and felt most comfortable with EFD Creative because of the combination of all the years they have been in business, and the positive reviews plus their work was gorgeous. I learned a lot of about wedding design which I never really thought about until Edna explained to me how to make the wedding day our own with special design touches.

Kasie was not only so kind, but she had so much lot of patience with us because of all the details with traveling guests and with everyone's specific needs. She was super fast and responsive which make me know this girl was on it! I knew I could count on her and it really gave me comfort through the process.

I really can’t say enough good things about Kasie and Edna. On the day of the wedding I knew it would all work out with the very prepared timeline Kasie put together and her calming ways. I was so grateful!
I would say to any couple looking to hire a planner definitely hire this team!

Once I got engaged the first thing I wanted was a planner!!!! I had been in many weddings and saw so many things, all the stress and decisions through my friends. So I always knew when the time came I was going to get help! I looked around and decided on Kasie from EFD Creative. There was something about her that I really connected with. Besides her outgoing personality she made me feel the confidence I was looking for. I also went to all the online reviews and was impressed with what everyone said and wanted that same kind of experience.

amazing detail and attention

Working with Kasie and EFD creative was easily one of the best decisions my wife and I made through our wedding planning process. Kasie was there for us whenever we needed her and gave us great time lines for when we needed to get things done on our end. When we started to get a little lost through the planning, within a day Kasie was in our inbox getting us back on track. She was extremely thorough during the planning and come the wedding day she was on top of everything. Three days prior, the ceremony location needed to be changed and once we informed her on the new location, she took care of making sure everything was set up. She also provided full weekend schedule for everyone in the wedding to make sure everything went perfectly.

EFD Creative is heads above the rest!

As part of my job, I have worked numerous weddings with lots of different planners. My partner and I chose to go with EFD Creative because we loved their approach (the concept of wedding-branding, lots of touches big and small to make the wedding personal to us, and to leave our guests knowing more about us as a couple), their down-to-earth friendliness, and the fact that all other vendors were beyond thrilled for the chance to work with them. They are not only good to you, they are good to EVERYONE, which leads to a wonderful, collegial planning process and day of. We could not have asked for better planners, and could not recommend EFD more highly.

Best Decision Ever!

The two best decisions I made: Saying yes to my now husband :) and hiring EFD Creative to help me with my wedding plans.

Throughout the entire wedding planning process I felt like their number one priority, starting from the moment I first reached out, all the way past the wedding itself. I know they are a busy duo, but when I first spoke with Kasie you could tell she was genuinely excited about my wedding and my wedding only. Then I met Edna, and her sincere passion was contagious!

They cared about every detail (I really mean everything!) from decisions as big as venue selection to details as small as how I'll be getting breakfast (while I am getting ready) on the morning of my wedding. These ladies covered it all! I can honestly say that the last 14 months of planning were not only stress free but they were fun! I’m so thankful I hired Edna and Kasie from EFD Creative. They are the very best!!!!

I married late in life for the first time and really thought I could do it all no problem, but realized early on I couldn’t make it happen and still keep everything in my life in order. Weddings have changed so much since my sister’s wedding and I had no idea all the little nuances and details to consider. I jumped on the internet and looked at so many planners and landed on EFD Creative. I was impressed with their experience and all the beautiful weddings in their portfolio.

After talking with Edna and Kasie I knew they were the perfect match and in good hands. From Edna's design expertise to Kasie’s attention to detail and organization skills, I really could sit back and breathe a sigh of relief. Even when things got hectic and decisions needed to be made, they talked me through it and I instantly felt better.

I worked with Kasie on securing the vendors for my big day and I can't imagine doing it without her! What I loved most about working with Kasie is that she didn't just tell me to book who she thought was "good". Instead, she listened and learned about me and what I wanted. Then she connected me with vendors that she thought would be the right match based on my personality, vision and budget. My son and his fiancée had been engaged for a year when my husband was diagnosed with AML leukemia. He was due to face months of chemo, hospitalizations, and illness. It was important to all of us for my husband to be able to witness their wedding.
We decided to go all-out for a big, celebratory wedding at a destination venue where my husband and I live. We picked the Wychmere Harbor Resort, Harwichport, MA. On the one available date- 9 weeks away!
I knew we needed an experienced wedding planner and designer. We had so much to do in a short time and we still wanted a perfect wedding. We knew Edna of EFD Creative and had been to multiple successful events of hers.
Within the first week, Edna took us to the best provider of linens, tableware, chairs, etc. Edna introduced us to a talented florist, who worked with my now daughter-in-law (who had very specific ideas) on flowers for her, her bridesmaids, tables, a beach chuppah etc. Edna guided us to the finest printer for a rush order of invitations, menus, thank you notes, etc. All of these vendors were chosen by Edna with extreme sensitivity to the situation and specific vibe which the couple wished to achieve… a casual elegance with a beachy feel. We wanted something that brought together everyone from California to Lousiana - to be remembered as a special time and place.
Over the next weeks, Edna accompanied us to the bridal fittings, went to the food tastings, advised us on many details….she was the driving force to get it all done and keep us on track
Kasie was incredible at organizing everything for us so we could enjoy the whole process, through those hectic weeks (made much less stressful by her guidance).
I am weeping as I write this. There was an audible cheer from my family and friends as we walked down the aisle on the beach. My husband was so happy to participate fully in his son’s wedding. My family will always have that beautiful memory.

I was so thrilled to have the guidance from Edna of EFD Creative! I had so many questions on how to budget my daughters wedding and how to select the vendors. Can't say enough about the EFD team -- Edna and Kasie were absolutely terrific to work with! We had a complicated situation: a 175-guest wedding on the East Coast planned by a bride and groom on the West Coast with friends coming from all over the country and half the family flying in from The South. All in 8 weeks time. That is right, eight weeks. Edna was a superstar. She was always available for a phone call, a quick question or a big one, and she knew every vendor who's anybody in the Boston/Cape/New England area. I'm very particular, and Edna immediately read my style and steered me in the direction of the vendors who best suited it. We had an L.A. vibe with a New Orleans flair in a Cape Cod setting. She made the whole weekend into a three-day party. She and Kasie attended my floral sessions with me on my very short trips to Boston from LA, and attended my tasting at the venue on Cape Cod. When we were down to the wire on invitations, her strong relationship with that vendor enabled me to get many orders in at the last minute and with very stylish input. She never stepped on my toes -- just designed what she envisioned I'd love. She was incredible with the rentals, which get complicated: tablecloths, chairs, silverware, you name it. She even asked if we could borrow a small sample of the wares we'd picked, so we could match our "look" to the florals and the venue. The vendor said no one had ever asked that before and was happy to let us borrow samples! It's this sort of personal touch that I could not have planned my wedding without. Kasie was amazing on the ground on the day of. My mom and sister noticed how she held everything together and made it all look so easy. I now realize that's a huge part of the Wedding Planner's job. I can't say enough about this group. I'd do another event with them in a heartbeat. I was sad when it all ended, because I felt like we were all working for the same company. Then I realized I was just another bride!

We had to plan a wedding from across the country and on two months notice. EFD made a potentially stressful situation so much easier because they were so well connected and liked in the business. Edna got very sought after people (florists, printers, DJ etc.) to drop everything for us and make our day happen at little or no extra charge. It seemed like they just wanted to do favors for her. And the wedding you wouldn't believe. Months later people are still telling me it was the best one they have ever been to.

I am a full-time nurse and student. I have little time and even less energy to take on any major projects. SO, when it was time to plan this major event, I knew I needed a planner. The moment I spoke with Kasie it was clear that EFD Creative was the team for me. Within a week, we secured the venue and date! From there they helped me understand what vendors I needed based on my vision and budget. Together we came up with creative ideas that made my celebration feel truly unique and personalized. We had the most amazing wedding day and wanted to take the time to thank Edna of EFD Creative for her support and guidance as she helped us navigate our way through the wedding planning process.

Edna was invaluable to us in selecting just the right vendors for our big day. We really had no idea what was in front of us, and with our very busy schedules we had no time to research and figure it out.

Edna helped us understand what vendors were the right match for us, as well as considering our budget and vision. She was fun to work with and really made the time to work around our hectic schedules. I live in Los Angeles and my wife lives in Boston so we loved that Edna made it so easy by just jumping on a Skype call with both of us and walked us through the steps. She is very established in the wedding industry and knows everyone, so we immediately felt at ease with this overwhelming process.

What an amazing duo Edna and Kasie are. Both of them have an eye for detail but in two very different ways. Edna has an eye for design and can easily make your event vision come true. From designing your own logo to helping you with center piece ideas. Kasie on the other hand has an eye for logistical details. My wedding party is still raving about the day of schedule she created. Everyone knew where to be and when. If someone was missing Kasie was on it before I could notice. Both Edna and Kasie did an amazing job recommending vendors and coordinating all of them. I truly can’t thank them enough for making my wedding day one I’ll always remember!

My daughter and her fiancé (now husband) live in northern Vermont while my husband and I live outside of Boston. We booked a venue in southwestern Vermont but were not happy with the vendors that were available in the area. We all were becoming very frustrated with the planning process causing a lot of disagreements between us.
Mulling over the idea of hiring an event planner to save the relationship I have with my daughter, I began the search in the Boston area for one that would be willing to work with us in Vermont. EFD-Creative had some Vermont weddings within their portfolio, so the call was made. Edna, my daughter and I hit it off from the start. She was honest and informative about the process of finding Boston vendors who would make the trip north. I hired her on the spot, no questions asked.
Rustic Chic was my daughter's dream wedding. Edna and my daughter both have the artistic flare that brought a simple empty barn to an elegant and beautiful room that had our guests in awe when they entered the reception. The process of branding the event was amazing, from selecting colors, designing a logo to be used on invitations, menus and even custom-made cookies. Every vendor that Edna recommended was amazing,
Then there is Kasie, a mother of the bride's dream come true. I did not have to worry about one thing on the days leading up to the wedding. She coordinated everything for us. She handled the rehearsal the night before which was a challenge of its own. She dealt with the employees at the inn, all of the vendors, the cocktail reception, and wedding reception setup. She is a ball of energy that made everyone in the wedding party feel at ease and made the day extra special for family and friends.
What a team. Edna has the ability to take the bride and groom’s vision of their special day and make it come to be. Kasie’s calming demeanor is exactly what is needed the day of the big event. We love them both.

Immediately after my engagement I knew I needed a professional wedding planner to combine my unique style and my mom's very specific taste into one wedding that both of us would love. After meeting Edna and Kasie, we knew between their impressive portfolio and positive energy that they were the team to make it happen.

We decided the wedding would have a majestic garden feel. Edna helped us infuse that look into everything from our invitations to our incredibly detailed castle wedding cake... I have NEVER seen so many people take pictures of the cake at a wedding! On the night of my wedding I just kept looking around admiring how gorgeous everything was and feeling so grateful to have had her in my corner.

As a busy business owner, I have a tight schedule and little time to organize an event of this magnitude. Kasie took care of it all! I would mention just once what it was that I wanted and poof Kasie would make it happen. She was super on the ball and unbelievably organized. She was always available to take a call from my mother and I and she even rush ordered a fan (the day before my wedding) for my mom to take to the ceremony after realizing it was going to be an unusually hot autumn day.

On the day of my wedding I did not worry about a thing! I knew Edna was at the venue making sure the space looked just as we imagined while Kasie was keeping track of the timeline and overseeing all of the vendors as they loaded in. My wedding day was the absolute best day of my life and a huge part of that was due to the EFD Creative team. I could have never done it without them!

Kasie and Edna made our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. We started working with EFD Creative about a year before our wedding date. We booked our venue and realized pretty quickly that we were going to need some guidance as we navigated through the rest of the planning process. There were so many vendors to choose from, logistical issues to figure out and emails to respond to. That was when we found Kasie. As soon as we met her, we knew she would be a great match for us. She was so organized, helpful, energetic and friendly. She helped us prioritize our to-do list, she gave us wonderful vendor recommendations and helped us navigate the very complicated world of wedding planning! On the more creative side of planning, Edna helped us design our delicious wedding cake and wedding invitations to match our overall vision and help us maintain a cohesive style.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Kasie was invaluable. She confirmed all of our vendors, coordinated final payments, created an extremely detailed and thorough timeline and attended our rehearsal to help us work out any kinks. She must have sent and received hundreds of emails on our behalf. She took so much off our plate, we were able to really enjoy the weeks leading up to our wedding. We would have been lost without her knowledge and organization!
On the day of the wedding, Kasie made sure all of the vendors were set, she made sure everyone was prepared and keep us all on time. While doing all of these important jobs, she was always her sweet, smiling, calming self. She made sure our whole day went smoothly so that we could have an amazing and stress-free day. Kasie is truly AMAZING!
We can confidently say that hiring EFD Creative was the best money we spent in the whole wedding planning process. We would recommend them to anyone who is beginning to plan a wedding! You will be so happy you did!

WOW - Edna & Kasie are amazing!

Traveling often for work, we are almost never in the same place; Edna was flexible and worked with us despite our calendars. She would conduct facetime meetings with us late at night, reply to emails at all times, and definitely kept us accountable for all the tasks we needed to do for the wedding. She was not afraid to be direct and that was needed and appreciated at different points in the planning process.
Much to my surprise, the creative process was a lot of fun! I wasn’t the typical bride that had been dreaming of their wedding for years, so I was nervous when Edna asked me about my wedding vision. As I fumbled to describe things I liked, Edna quickly had me using Pinterest, showing her different weddings that I thought were beautiful and explaining the elements that I liked from each one. From that inspiration, Edna was able to help me find my wedding vision and start making decisions. Everything from invitations to tablecloths, and flowers to signage; Every detail was considered thoughtfully and fit perfectly into the bigger wedding design.
Justin and I learned quickly to trust Edna and the process. There were many things that we had never even considered for the wedding, or line items that we wondered if they were worth the money, and trust me when I say...Edna was ALWAYS RIGHT. It was the little touches that made the difference. Just after we served dinner at the wedding, my boss Brian came up to me and said “I know this is kind of weird to say, but your place settings…they’re just beautiful! I couldn’t help but say something!” It is a testament to Edna’s creative process and vision for your special day. Each wedding she has done is unique and you can really feel the couple in every element of the design. My advice to any couple working with Edna and her team, would be to trust her advice and follow her process – your wedding will be better for it! Wedding of the Year!
That was what I told Edna I was looking for during our first conversation & boy did she deliver! Being busy professionals who are traveling often, we didn’t have the time or energy to plan a great wedding. Edna & her team were consultative, creative & helped us more than we even knew we needed. Edna was genuinely excited about our recent engagement & took the time to get to know our story. However, it was her honesty that ultimately made us love her. She was very direct about our ideas, budget & made sure that we had a realistic perspective on weddings in Boston. She understood our priorities & gave us her honest opinions & suggestions on where she thought she & her team could help.
Ultimately, we contracted EFD Creative for their full suite of services; helping us with the vendor selection, creative design & branding, & day of services. BEST CHOICE OF OUR LIVES. I am convinced we would have never gotten married if we didn’t pick the full package. We contracted with Edna in just a few days we had a venue & a tight timeline – our wedding was in less than 8 months! Edna wasn’t worried - she worked her magic, presenting us with top vendors in the area & within a week we had all of our vendors selected!
Kasie was our day of coordinator & she was equally as amazing as Enda. Kasie carefully planned every detail of the day, from when vendors would arrive, to how my bridesmaids were getting lunch! She was key to making sure the entire day moved seamlessly without a hitch. When something did go wrong, Kasie handled it well & found a great resolution. When my wedding dress showed up wrinkled, Kasie called the boutique & insisted they send someone over to steam it in my room to ensure that it was perfect!

Our event was such a success thanks to the very talented team at EFD Creative!

Edna was amazing at working with the vision creating the look that was exactly what my daughter was envisioning. Throughout the process she was able to take the vision and bring it together - from the invitation to the floral designs to the lighting, which was very important to me. Edna always knew it would come together and it was absolutely stunning. When I walked into the tent I couldn’t believe what I saw. All the hard work and time spent - it was magical!

Kasie was a master at making everything work logically. At first I thought we could handle this part of the planning ourselves, but once we got closer I knew she had to join in. All the many details that you don’t think of Kasie had it covered. She also dealt with many issues that I never knew about until much later when everything was resolved, and this helped us avoid so much stress, not only on the day of the event, but leading up to as well.

This is the second big event we have worked on with EFD Creative and we are extremely pleased with the outcome of both. I highly recommend EFD Creative if you are looking for an extraordinary experience!

I wanted something very special and unique - visual experience that captured a mystical, elegant design. I knew what I wanted, but I had so many thoughts on the overall vision. Edna was able to take it all in and get to the core of my vision. I trusted her and that was the best thing I did! She created the enchanted forest vision I had been dreaming of. I appreciated that she really listened to me and saw what I wanted. She took the time, and together we made my dream come alive. I was so excited when I saw the room – it was everything I wanted and more.

I was so thrilled when Kasie came on board to help with the details. It took a lot of stress off me and my mom. We had so much going on and knowing Kasie was “on it” was so helpful. Every time we worried about something we would connect with Kasie and she relieved us of all the concerns.

I can only speak to my personal experience with the outstanding staff of EFD Creative. When I was first introduced to Edna, I had to admit that I was probably going to be her most clueless bride ever. I didn't have a 'vision' of what my dream wedding would look like and I had no idea how to answer some of the basic questions most planners ask. Edna was the first planner I spoke with who didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. She never once made me feel bad for not understanding why we needed to hire certain vendors, nor did she make me feel like I was strange for not knowing exactly what all the wedding etiquette was. She was patient, kind, and incredibly flexible. Edna understood my work-life balance and some of the challenges I have with making decisions. She can guide even the most clueless bride to the wedding of her dreams. Along with Edna, comes Kasie. When I first met Kasie, she was explaining to me and my mom how she enjoys organizing things and that we were in very good hands with her. In my head I thought 'Oh boy, Kasie, you are in for a treat...' I can only describe myself as disorganized chaos. I consider myself 'organized' if I manage to not leave my house without my laptop before heading to my job as a Computer Engineer....yes, the bar is set that low, haha. I honestly felt bad that Kasie (the sweetest person you will ever meet) was going to have to figure out how to get me organized! Not only did Kasie get me 100% organized. She has this calming energy about her. The day I packed my car to head to the venue, I was surprised how calm I was. Normally I would be scrambling to find everything I needed and panicking half way to the venue when I realized I had forgotten something. This is something that Kasie just does not allow :-) When you hire EFD Creative, you will be organized, you will be calm, and you will have hired the two most talented women in the industry to help you EVERY step of the way.

Kasie was absolutely amazing! She handled all of the logistics leading up to the wedding and made sure to keep everyone on schedule the day of. She brought so much enthusiasm to the process and was talented at carefully resolving any conflict my mother and I had when it came to making decisions on the details, which ultimately helped keep everything running smoothly. She took so much pressure off of me (and my mother) throughout the entire process. I never felt like I had to worry about getting something done or figuring out where I was supposed to be at each moment. After my daughter announced her engagement last year, we talked about where she would want to get married and have her reception. There was no question in her mind that Boston would be her choice since she had been living and working there for several years. We are from Chicago and since I have no connections to anyone in the New England area we decided a wedding planner was in our best interest.
My daughter found EFD Creative with Edna and Kasie after interviewing several wedding planners in the area. From the moment we selected this talented team we not only felt at ease with all the details, but we truly felt like we had friends in the area who would steer us to the very best vendors, answer all our questions, and keep us organized beyond anything I could ever imagine. They were kind, respectful and most of all, totally on top of every single decision we had to make regarding our venue and ceremony. If I were to sum it up, I would say that this team is, without a doubt , the most valuable piece of the wedding puzzle that you will need to make your daughter's wedding memorable, beautiful, stressless and most importantly, her vision!
As you go down the path of preparation for the big event, Edna & Kasie will make sure that you are on task for everything. If any changes come up due to weather, guest numbers or any problems that may arise, they will be right there immediately to address and handle these changes. They take the worry and stress out of the wedding equation and make the journey much more enjoyable.
In the end, the wedding and ceremony which was at the Boston Harbor Hotel, was the most spectacular event I have ever attended. The lighting, floral arrangements, tablescapes, band, food and venue were five star and many of our guests wrote us notes to thank us and commented on the amazing event. None of this would have ever been possible without this team behind us!

Edna and Kasie were amazing! We were not the easiest family to coordinate with— my fiancé (now husband!) and I live in Boston, my parents live in Philadelphia, and between all of our work schedules and my fiancé being a full time grad student, there were a lot of moving pieces— but Edna and Kasie were fantastic with communication and follow-up and always made it work.

Edna had great intuition about style and ideas that would appeal to us, and seamlessly build a design around those. The end result was more beautiful and cohesive than we possibly could have imagined! She was really responsive to our feedback, and went above and beyond to find and incorporate details to bring everything together. She was super available, and really easy to get in touch with. She also connected us with an amazing venue and vendors (I can’t say enough great things about the folks at Seaport Hotel, LifeFusion Photography, and Jeri Solomon Floral!) who made the day absolutely perfect!

Kasie is, hands down, the most detail oriented logistical wizard I can think of! She was super on top of everything, from timelines, to communication, to follow up, to anticipating last minute needs/ideas/concerns— the whole nine yards! She also had the most incredibly positive attitude, and was just a ton of fun to work with.

Our wedding was two weeks ago, and we can’t stop talking about how magical everything was— it was a really amazing day! Thank you, Edna and Kasie!

Edna has great insight into vendor selection and really knows the Boston/New England market ins and outs. I would highly recommend EFD Creative to any bride looking for a planner. Last weekend we had the wedding not only of our dreams but also probably the dream wedding for many of our guests. My husband Michael and myself first met Edna for coffee back at the beginning of the year and the connection was made immediately—hands down one of the best decisions we have ever made was to entrust our dream to her capable hands. From save the dates to invitations to napkins and then the enchanted venue itself there was not a single detail that was left to chance or forgotten. The interplay of design, color, whimsy, everything was evident everywhere you looked—sometimes very obvious and sometimes subtle but the end effect was magical. We held our wedding and reception at the New England Aquarium and Edna and her team managed to convert what could be a cavernous and overly stimulating environment into an intimate space that flowed perfectly with our vision and always an undercurrent of shear elegance. From the flowers to the table settings to the dance floor and lighting we came as close to perfection that you can get in our eyes.

Working with Edna was like working with your favorite sibling and someone who you just knew would never let you down but also tell you the truth and not just what you wanted to hear. She knew when to let us roam free and when to pull us back to safety. I would absolutely trust her with any event that we might plan in the future. Each one of her suggestions and decisions were spot on—amazing!!

The last month or so of planning—enter Kasie. Where do I start? How can one individual be in so many places and think of so many details and never lose track of a single item—she is truly Superwoman in our book. We had been warned that things go wrong but no one but us would know it but operationally the whole wedding was flawless from what we could tell. I honestly don’t know how she does it but she does and it is all done with humor and grace and love. Edna and Kasie ROCK!!

We loved working with Edna, Kasie and her team - our wedding day was a beautiful success.

My wife and I live in NYC but got married in Boston. Through research and recommendations we found and ultimately selected EFD Creative.

We were very impressed with Edna's and Kasie's professionalism, their structured work and accommodating our needs and meeting times - as we were planning our wedding remotely, these aspects were very important to us.

EFD Creative pointed us to great, professional vendors and supported us throughout the work with these.

We very much liked that Edna and Kasie supported, yet also challenged our ideas.

The actual wedding day was perfectly executed and managed by Kasie and her team - both in terms of logistics and design. My wife and I were able to enjoy the entire day as all planning etc was quietly managed in the background.

As a testament to EFD's excellent work, we received (and continue to) many compliments from our guests on the wedding day.

When I found out my daughter was ready to plan her wedding I immediately began searching for a great team that could help us along the way. When I first talked to Edna we had an amazing conversation, and I knew I found our match! As the mother of the bride Edna/Kasie were able to help me save money. I am not sure there are words to fully express how amazing Edna, Kasie and the EFD Creative team were to work with. My wedding day could not have been more perfect and I know so much had to do with the great work that the team Edna and Kasie pulled together. Edna and Kasie were both easy to work with, always available to answer questions or bounce ideas off of. Edna is a fountain of knowledge and resources for anything wedding related and has an amazing way of taking small details and turning them into a complete and incredible final product. I found both Edna and Kasie supportive of what my husband and I wanted to put emphasis on for our special day and ways of incorporating all of our ideas. They both had great organization and understood the flow of each part of the process, which made working with them feel very controlled and comfortable. These ladies are easy to talk to, sweet, creative... simply superwomen at their jobs. I could not recommend anyone more highly and am so thankful that I had them with me for the entire process for they made it fun, involved very little stress, and everything turned out better than I could have imagined.

EFD Creative was such an amazing team to work with! As we began wedding planning I was in my first year of law school and knew that we couldn't possibly do it ourselves. We searched for a team that would be able to cover every single aspect of the wedding efficiently, and found our match. After we met Edna I knew we could relax and unwind. She immediately contacted vendors and gave me several options. Throughout out the whole process we lived in Houston, TX and only made two trips home. One trip to pick out the decor and venue, and another for the tasting, flowers, engagement photos, mock table, and church (which they coordinated all on the same day at one location!!). Ultimately they made the process a lot easier and less stressful on our lives. They were also patient with us and our busy schedule. So many decisions needed to be made, but our schedule was just so busy that we sometimes could not spare a thought on the wedding. To ensure that tasks were completed Kasie would consolidate everything onto a to do list for a timely efficient meeting over the phone when I did I have time, and that was everything to my life! Kasie was honestly just heaven sent. When wedding planning (especially with a guest count of 325) you will always have something that needs to be addressed, and realistically people are just busy with other important aspects of life making it become overwhelming. Luckily EFD takes that feeling away and makes the process as seamless as possible. They worked around my schedule, maximized our times together, and had EVERYTHING in order at ALL times. They were thorough, responsive, professional and such a pleasure to work with. Ultimately they made our dream wedding come true, and we are forever thankful for all of their hard work!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Edna and being introduced to EFD Creative almost 10 years ago when I entered the hospitality industry. Over my decade long career I have worked side by side with various planners and designers. I have seen all there is to see with almost 500 weddings under my belt. When it came time for my very own Big Day there was absolutely no question who my husband and I wanted to work with. Edna and Kasie simply understood us. They listened, created and designed based on who we are as a couple and our story. What we couldn't put in words they designed flawlessly through images. Edna and Kasie were a sounding board for our ideas, our challenges and the inevitable family drama that comes with planning a wedding. Their recommendations were spot on. All aspects of our wedding were personal to our journey as a couple and this team understood that.

Day-of was 100% spot on. To say our wedding was exactly how I imagined it would be is an understatement. It was more. As an event professional myself, I am a stickler for timeline and details. However, I woke up the morning of my wedding knowing I was in the best of hands. I didn't look at a clock. I didn't ask questions. I didn't have to come up with Plan B or C, even when my brother-in-law lost our wedding bands...Kasie was the one who tracked them down! She saved our vows (and my brother-in-law's life :) )

When I think back on the details of our wedding day, these two ladies stand out amongst it all. I am honored to call them friends and blessed to have been able to work with such a tremendously skilled team for over a year!

Kasie was a total pleasure to work with! She was organized, responsive and very open to our somewhat non-traditional wedding. She listened carefully to what we wanted and communicated with all of the vendors in a way that took a lot of the work off of our plates. Thanks to Kasie the wedding weekend went so incredibly smoothly. Everything happened on time and in a relaxed way. We can't imagine our wedding without Kasie!

We hired Kasie as a day-of-coordinator. We thought that would mean meeting with her a couple of times as the day approached - we couldn't have been more wrong! The level of attention and involvement Kasie shared with us is not properly described by that title. From our initial consultation, she began by taking the time to really listen to what we wanted out of the day and gave suggestions on how to make it even better. She was enthusiastic, genuinely involved, constantly in touch by phone and e-mail, and always there for advice when we needed it. Kasie was so responsive to e-mails we find it hard to believe we weren't her only clients!

Kasie's level of organization is un-paralleled. We knew she was keeping track of everything and we were just able to relax and plan. She broke down what seemed like a daunting amount of tasks into very easy to achieve goals and make it manageable. She was able to take what could have been a very stressful situation and turn it into a really fun journey.

Beyond just keeping us organized, she was really supportive of our personal touches (even ones we thought would be too quirky) and didn't blink an eye at our plan for DIY projects - even sending over Etsy pages that matched things we had discussed in our initial meeting.

She was very professional and interacted and worked well with our other vendors - even stepping in herself to contact vendors when we needed her to.

Once the day got here there was never a moment we felt she wasn't totally on top of everything. If anything went wrong that day we STILL don't know about it! Kasie made sure our only concern that day was having a wonderful time and enjoying the moment.

We really can't recommend Kasie and EFD Creative enough. Out of all of our wedding expenses this one was well worth it!

Edna of EFD Creative is truly one of the greatest people you’ll ever meet! From the moment I first spoke with her on the phone, I thought that we would possibly use her services for day-of coordination. However, after my husband and I met her in person – we immediately knew that we wanted her expertise and eye for design all the way through! She was able to help shape our initial thoughts into a spectacular wedding that we and our guests couldn't believe. From vendor suggestion and selection (and working her magic to save us money where she could) to finding just the right item to be displayed on the gift table to having her team (and terrific husband) with her on the final day so that nothing was even an inch out of place– she lent her discerning and tasteful eye for design to the planning process – and we couldn't have been more thrilled. Being a gay couple, we wanted our overall wedding look and feel to be more masculine than a typical wedding - and she was able to deliver on that premise and more! Our friends, family and guests are still commenting about the day several months later. I think the best thing about working with Edna, was that we gained a friend!

Words cannot express my gratitude to the EFD team for making my wedding day a complete success! I worked with Kasie throughout the planning process and could not be more pleased.

Hiring an EFD planner is by far the best wedding investment a couple can make! Kasie held my hand every step of the way. She kept me organized and on schedule. She was always willing and available to help - literally gets back to every email promptly, even when I sent her multiple per day. When choices got tough, Kasie helped me see the pros and cons to come to a decision. When vendors were difficult, Kasie was on top of it so I never had to deal with a thing. She made wedding planning fun instead of stressful.

Kasie is so sweet to work with; she got along with our guests and vendors. Everyone raved about her! Above all, I LOVED working with her. My meetings and frequent check-ins with Kasie were the best part of the planning process. I will truly miss it! Kasie made me lists for packing, a payment reminder list, and weekly to-do lists leading up to the wedding. I wanted to have everything done a week in advance so I could enjoy my wedding week. Kasie kept me on task and on time, I couldn't have done it without her!

I was naturally nervous on the big day, but Kasie arrived and made me feel completely at ease. She had a detailed timeline of the entire day so everyone knew where we needed to be. We had our set timeline, but Kasie was on top of unexpected occurrences too - like the rain. It started pouring on my way to the ceremony, so Kasie brought me big beautiful umbrellas to take pictures outside afterward. She even ran back and forth out in the pouring rain to get any items we needed from other areas of the venue - she truly goes above and beyond!!

I will always look back to my wedding day and remember Kasie. She was more than a planner, but a friend who was by my side through it all. Thank you Kasie and EFD for making my wedding dreams come true!!

EFD Creative is the BEST of the BEST!

I didn’t think a wedding planner was something we needed to invest in. I viewed the idea as a “luxury” but over time that changed. We didn't realize it at the time, but calling Edna from EFD Creative was the single most important decision we made in planning our wedding. She immediately set us up with the best vendors in the business – the planning started to take shape immediately.

Edna’s ability to really connect with us both individually and as a couple was nothing short of amazing. Edna assured me that it would all come together and taught us to trust the creative process. Edna is a master at her craft and her eye for design and for perfecting every last detail is phenomenal. She had the ability to extract our vision and guide us in making sure everything we wanted was flawlessly expressed ~ from our save the dates - all the way down to our wedding favors. Edna branded our wedding perfectly!

Kasie from EFD Creative was our Wedding Day Manager and she is outstanding! Our venue offered a ‘day of coordinator,’ but we quickly began to realize that the venue’s focus is not on the couple, but rather on ensuring the venue is following their protocols. Kasie started working with us long before our wedding day, making sure that every detail was perfected. She kept track of the logistics and worked with all of our vendors to make sure that everything was coordinated. She created an extensive timeline that organized every minute of the day and was the primary contact for all of our vendors and made sure she was available to everyone on the day.

We felt completely covered from the beginning of our engagement all the way to our wedding day. I didn’t worry about anything because I knew that Edna and Kasie always had everything under control. My husband and I were fully present on the most important day of our lives.

Hiring Edna to be our wedding planner was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. Having never planned a wedding before, we really did not know what we were getting ourselves into and it was extremely helpful and comforting to have an expert right by our side, guiding us through each step. For example, when we first met Edna, she graciously went through our budget with us. We had no idea how much things could cost! Edna quickly pulled us back into reality and worked with our budget to get us the best of what we could afford.

Edna was also a huge time saver. We both work full time, and before we had hired her, it took us two months just to find a venue for our wedding. Within two weeks of hiring Edna, we had booked all of our major vendors, including the photographer, videographer, officiant, and band! No time was wasted researching vendors and we are extremely pleased with all of them and their level of service during our wedding day.

Edna is a wedding expert, and her expert opinion prevented and resolved many disagreements during the wedding planning process. Many times we would disagree about some aspect of the wedding, and many times the solution would be to, ‘ask Edna!’ Hearing the important and relevant questions of a wedding expert, who has planned countless weddings before quickly puts any arguments to rest. Not only do her opinions come from experience, but also Edna logically works through each problem, step by step.

Edna’s level of service is top notch. There was never a time when we felt we could not reach her. She responds to all messages promptly, even if they are sent late at night. On the actual wedding day, Edna took charge of everything logistical. She was working hard, behind the scenes, to make sure everything looked gorgeous and ran smoothly.

The only bad thing about Edna is that when the wedding is over, you will miss her company and presence!

Three months before my wedding day I was in a panic! As organized as I am I realized I needed additional support. That is when I reached out to EFD Creative to see if there was any way they could help in a time crunch. In short, they absolutely exceeded my expectations.

Edna was my own personal designer extrodinare! Edna knew right away which vendors would match my vision. Because I had waited until my fifties to marry, it was really important to me that every detail had meaning. She worked with the invitation company to create a personalized wedding logo which carried throughout the entire event. Edna also collaborated with the local florist to bring in elements that the florist had never done before. I felt like the whole look of my wedding matched exactly the vision in my mind and I was thrilled.

While Edna focused on the design element Kasie took care of all the logistical details. Kasie was amazing, a logisical goddess! She went above and beyond to make sure all of the details came together. She worked with my entire family, bridal party & all of my vendors to make sure the whole weekend came together without any mishaps. She was the perfect liaison between me and all of my vendors not only at the wedding but every day leading up to the weekend. Any questions I had leading up to the wedding day Kasie was already on top of everything one thousand percent!

Edna & Kasie were a dream come true. I can't image my wedding day without their help! I fell in love with them during the process! They have become a wonderful part of my wedding day memory!

I worked with Kasie and she is unbelievable. Originally a wedding planner was not in the budget but hiring Kasie was the best decision I made. Our wedding was out of state in my fiance's home town and there really is no way everything would have gone as smoothly as it did without her help. She went well over and beyond what I expected from a planner. She was always quick to respond by text, phone, or email. She is direct without being bossy or overbearing. All of my vendors told me how great she was and how they appreciated her organization and demeanor. My fiance, family, and wedding party all loved her.

Working with EFD Creative was a fantastic experience. I felt so overwhelmed by everything I had to get done, and I wanted a wedding to remember! Edna and her partner Kasie are clearly experts and guided me every step of the way. Edna is not only a real artist, she’s someone who knows how to make things happen. She took all my vague words around what we wanted – the look, the feel, some random ideas in my head – and somehow turned that into exactly what I had envisioned, but so much more! She really listened and cared about what I was thinking, what I hoped to express on my big day. This may sound cliché, but I truly felt as if she was an artist and my wedding was her palette. But more than that – she knew how to execute on these ideas. She worked every angle, changed things when they didn’t fit just right, or if I didn’t like something. She seemed to be moving and shaking things in the background, and was always looking to improve upon every detail. Over the course of the months, I saw my wedding emerge from just ideas into what I think was a masterpiece. When my husband and I walked into the reception room, we were stunned. Actually, it took my breath away. The end result was perfect - the look, the mood, the tone. It was just right, not overly done. And Kasie - she can organize like nobody’s business! She kept me on track and I always felt comfortable around her. She has a sunny and calm personality. She’s optimistic and seemed to take every little challenge we threw at her like it was no problem at all. I can’t say enough about how she handled everything leading up to and on my wedding day – the personalities, my anxieties, people not showing up for dress rehearsal, last minute changes due to weather, etc. She took it all in stride and managed to work things out. I can’t say enough about her, and how much of a relief she was to me and my family. I feel like I had my own wedding dream team! I would highly recommend EFD Creative to anyone, Thank you!

Kasie was a dream come true. She wasn't pushy at all but made sure we were on track. She made an extremely stressful day/days to come stress free and happy. At first, I thought I had everything for my wedding under control - as I am very organized - but boy was I wrong! I quickly realized that with so many vendors and details, I needed help. I was SO lucky to have found THE BEST wedding help around with Edna and Kasie!! They were there at every step of the way and advocated for me as a bride.
Edna was critical in pulling together all ideas -big and down to the very small detail- to make my dream wedding a reality. She connected me with amazing vendors and helped to create my vision all around the wedding with her artistic creativity. She also always kept my budget in mind and helped me determine where it was best spent throughout the process.
Kasie was my wedding day manager/coordinator and did not miss a beat throughout the entire process. From helping coordinate logistics, scheduling, and even tiny details, Kasie knew best and made it happen! Any time I needed anything or had a question- she was two steps ahead and already had the answer delivered! Thank goodness she wore flats on my wedding day because she ran around ensuring everything was absolutely perfect so the me, my family, and my guests would enjoy the night! OMG Edna and her team are incredible! I can't even begin to say how thankful we are that we were able to work with them in planning our daughter's wedding. Every step of the way was made easier, more fun and less stressful by Edna and Kasie. Their vendor recommendations actually saved us money in the long run and off set the expense of having an event planner.
Working with Kasie as the "day of" coordinator made it so there were no worries about any of the details. She organized a complete time-line, reviewed every contract and contacted every vendor. She literally took care of everything and made it so that we could enjoy our daughter's wedding and not worry about a thing. She even organized a quick change from outside to inside for the ceremony when an uninvited guest, tropical story Arthur, decided to at ten the wedding!. EFD Creative did an incredible job planning both the creative and organizational components of my wedding and rehearsal dinner. (which I only had 4 months to plan)
The experience was terrific, they were responsive to my questions and patient with me when I kept changing my mind! The vendors they recommended were terrific as well.

25 Reasons Why I Love Edna from EFD Creative

1. Edna aims to please and no task is too big or too small for her to take on. From helping select a venue to designing a chalkboard sign to helping the grandmother of the bride put on more comfortable shoes, Edna was right there at a moments notice to make it happen.

2. Edna works tirelessly to get the job done. When I called her at 6:30 am to get the key for the "get ready room" she jumped out of bed to get it. Let us not forget that she was up the night before well past 2 am cleaning up the Welcome Party.

3. Edna understands the most demanding clients and has standards to match. Edna understands the word "perfection" and will not settle for anything less. She represents the client's interest first and foremost and communicates their desires to the vendors without any hesitation.

4. Edna has tremendous integrity. When I was dissatisfied with a first iteration of anything, she paused, listened, and validated my feelings. She would never try to 'sell' me anything. Instead, she found a way to make it happen.

10. Edna understands how to perfectly time every single event in the wedding. Not once during the entire weekend did I feel something was rushed or not been properly timed.

11. Edna is very creative yet practical. She has a unique ability to synthesis thoughts and put forth an idea when everyone around her has disparate visions. EFD Creative - Event Planning and Design planned my sons Bar Mitzvah from start to finish. I couldn't be happier with the end results- it was one of the greatest days my life- I work full time and wanted to create a special and memorable day for my son- who really worked very hard and earned the celebration- I had no time to run around and find vendors and ideas- I am not a interest person or someone who enjoys surfing the web.
Kasie made planning the event easy and fun- Every meeting we had she was organized and on top of every detail. I never brought a notebook or pen to a meeting, I knew she had it covered and I can enjoy the process. She kept me organized and scheduled everything in a timely manner so we were never rushed or crazed. We originally thought we could handle all of the wedding plans ourselves. We soon realized that if we wanted the wedding of our dreams and to be able to enjoy our wedding day, hiring a wedding coordinator was a must.

EFD Creative - Event Planning & Design came highly recommend. From the first meeting to the end of the wedding our coordinator Kasie Blanchette became more than just a coordinator, but a true friend. Edna is truly remarkable in wedding event planning and design. She was there every step of the way, at every appointment, and on the day of my wedding she made sure every detail was perfect. She even connected me with a wedding gown boutique where I ultimately found my wedding gown (and she came to the appointment at which I found my gown). Edna was personable, budget-minded, and very resourceful. Planning for my wedding was a challenge in that the wedding took place in Boston, but my family was in California and my husband's family was in Ohio. She made both of our families feel very involved in the planning process, while still prioritizing what my husband and I felt was important for our wedding ceremony and reception. I very much enjoyed the wedding planning process because of Edna. Her experience and personality helped to make our wedding day truly a day that my husband and I will remember fondly forever as the best day of our lives. I was clueless about navigating the wedding scene at age 60. Edna was thoughtful, creative, respectful and assertive (when needed) throughout the whole process. She knows the business and has a terrific relationship with vendors, which is an advantage to the bride and groom. Many wedding guests commented about what a wonderful event it was. In part, this was related to many small touches Edna initiated; e.g. exquisite lighting and candles, and a seamlessly choreographed schedule on the wedding day. Everything ran perfectly and all we did was pay attention to our guests and enjoy ourselves. My fiancé liked her very much...which was a big plus.

Going with EFD Creative for wedding management was by far the best choice I made in our wedding planning process. The service was personable, professional and graciously catered to our particular needs. My mom and I initially didn't think we needed a wedding planner - we tried to do it by ourselves. But we are both busy professionals and wedding planning became a burden. When we met with Edna, we clicked right away. and we knew we would enjoy working with her. I didn't initially realize how much of a difference working with her would make. She made the planning process so much more fun for my mom and I! She came with us to our vendor meetings and really helped me verbalize what I wanted for my wedding style and put it into action. For instance, I had initially met with my invitation vendor alone and was going to go for something traditional and plain. However, after Edna came with me, she helped me to design the perfect wedding invitation that was much more reflective of my fiance and my style. We got many compliments and some said it was the most beautiful wedding invitation they'd seen. And then for the design of the actually wedding, Edna was there every step of the way. Answering all of my emails right away and coming up with unique and fun ideas - but of course always leaving the final decisions to me. The day of the wedding both Edna and her assistant Kasie were there. I found out after the fact that Edna did a lot of behind the scenes work with putting our decorations into action that day. From moving trees around to calling the lighting designer to come because the lighting wasn't exactly as planned at first. Kasie was so helpful on the day of, taking care of all the little details so I didn't have to worry (including finding a seamstress to sew on my fiance's tuxedo button that popped off). Kasie was also really helpful in working with the vendors and creating an awesome timeline - so I knew everything the day was scheduled in detail. She was in charge of the schedule and I just relaxed and had the most amazing day of my life! Thanks so much Edna and Kasie, we couldn't have done it without you!

Our experience working with Kasie Blanchette was absolutely fabulous! She has excellent organizational skills and a wonderful, warm personality. Despite the complex nature of our wedding, Kasie found a way to make it all come together so beautifully! I received numerous compliments from my guests on how well-planned the wedding was. The wedding involved a large robot in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception; hair, makeup and nail services for the bride, maid of honor, and 4 bridesmaids as well as the addition of two special wedding games (a dance and trivia contest with prizes for each). This by all means was not easy to coordinate, but thanks to Kasie, I was able to include all these things which made my wedding so much fun and very memorable. She even helped to put up and also take down all the flowers in the church and reception site. Having her around throughout my wedding day really put my mind at ease as I could actually enjoy my wedding day without having to worry about the flowers, where the robot needs to be, or the shuttle service. Kasie would periodically check on me to determine whether or not I needed anything which was also very helpful. After the wedding, Kasie was a big help in cleaning up and making sure that I got all my gifts and wedding items returned. Thanks to her, we did not lose anything despite the high number of items we included in the wedding and the large number of gifts we received. I would highly recommend Kasie to any couple planning a wedding as she is sure to make your wedding day absolutely amazing!

Over a year working with Edna she pulled our disparate thoughts together and gave this wedding a cohesive look and vision. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the quality of service we received from Edna of EFD Creative. We were immediately interested in working with Edna because of her strong design background. We are so happy that we worked with her because she had the ability to take our ideas regarding the look and feel of our wedding and to execute them beautifully. Edna and Kasie were indispensable to my wedding planning/wedding day at the Commander's Mansion just outside of Boston! Edna's unique take on "Wedding Branding" as well as traditional planning helped to ensure that I was able to have the wedding of my dreams while working full-time and not going insane. Edna is a very talented event stylist and wedding design expert. She is passionate about her work, taking every detail seriously and remaining dedicated to her clients. Edna is amazing at communicating, keeping organized, staying on track, and always following up. She is also very warm and personable.

I truly enjoyed working with Edna to help design and map out the details of my destination wedding. After a long and somewhat tumultuous 2 year engagement, Edna made wedding planning FUN for me again.

Kasie from EFD Creative is fabulous and made the wedding planning easy and so much fun. I had my wedding on a college campus and it was the first time the venue had an event like this, so there were a lot of moving pieces-- it was not a straight forward planning process. As soon as we hired Kasie I knew that all of those moving pieces would come together seamlessly-- and they did! She was on top of everything, down to the very last detail. She did a great job keeping my parents and I on track with what we needed to do (and was always available to answer questions-- even on the weekends!), and she was reaching out to all our vendors to make sure they all knew where they needed to be and when. Having Kasie at the wedding the day-of was incredible. We didn't have to worry about a single thing! Even 2 minutes before walking down the aisle and I realized that I needed to eat something before the ceremony and no one had anything, Kasie came to the rescue with a bag of almonds! I would 100% recommend Kasie, she was so much fun to work with and played such a big role in making my wedding day absolutely perfect!

About a month and a half before our August 27, 2011 wedding, my fiance (now husband) and I hired Kasie Blanchette of EFD Creative to take care of the day of coordination of our wedding. EFD Creative was recommended to us by our officiant. We ultimately ended up hiring them because Edna, the owner, immediately contacted me soon after I inquired and we spoke over the phone about our needs and expectations. All of the other companies I inquired with sent me information over email, which is fine, but after I had such a wonderful conversation Edna, I knew I wanted to work with her company.

I don't know how we would have pulled our wedding off without Kasie. From the first time I met with Kasie I knew we were getting much more than "day of" services. Kasie made me feel like I was her number one client at all times. She told me to contact her whenever I needed, which I absolutely did, and I always got an immediate response. From day one, she made me feel totally comfortable with leaving a lot of the details and coordination in her hands, which I thought would have been difficult for me, since my fiance and I had planned everything ourselves up until then. I never for one second doubted that Kasie understood our vision and expectations for our wedding day.

Kasie diligently contacted all of our vendors far ahead of time to let them know the details of the day and the timeline, she attended our site visit, and was there for the rehearsal. She gave me great recommendations and advice about things I was completely clueless about. Kasie made sure I didn't have to worry about one thing on my wedding day.

My wedding was the day before the dreaded hurricane Irene. It was raining, but my wedding was perfect. The night flowed effortlessly thanks to Kasie - not only because of how hard she worked that day, but because of all the work she did leading up to the day. The ceremony had to be moved into the tent last minute and I didn't have to lift a finger and not once did I worry that something wouldn't be the way I wanted it. I remember seeing Kasie a few times soaked to the bone, but always with a smile on her face.

My wedding day was absolutely perfect rain and all and I seriously couldn't have done it without Kasie. Both Edna and Kasie were wonderful to work with.

Since I was living in Georgia planning a wedding in Boston, I needed to depend on my planner to take the lead with vendors and timing. Edna did just that and more. Edna Dratch Parker is the BEST!!! Planning my daughter's wedding was a real challenge, because she and her fiance, who both live in China, were here in Boston for only a week in August to prepare for the February wedding at the Hampshire House. Edna jumped into action, lined up superb vendors for us -- officiant, florist, musicians, DJ, transportation, hair and make-up, calligraphers etc -- and she worked tirelessly from August until the event in early February. She was proactive throughout the process, efficient and organized, and communicated to us in a very timely manner. She's an excellent project manager and kept us all on track with time to spare.

Edna is not only a superb project manager; she also brings artistic insight and sensibility. She helped us develop the winter theme for the wedding -- a simple snowflake -- and helped us with colors and themes. She also offered creative ideas, particularly with respect to the distribution of personalized gifts for guests that my daughter and fiance brought back from China. I should add that Edna is highly perceptive about her clients -- she has a great feel for their personalities and desires and what will work for them.

Edna also made sure wedding day proceeded flawlessly. She worked with us the night before the event and coordinated activities on wedding day. She even went last-minute shopping for some essentials we forgot to bring!

The event was everything my daughter and her now husband had hoped for -- elegant, intimate and stunningly beautiful. Everyone had a great time and I cannot tell you how many guests told me it was the best wedding they ever attended. My daughter, her husband and I could not have been more thrilled. I cannot say enough about Edna and would be happy to provide a personal recommendation for anyone interested in talking with me.

Living over 600 miles away from the wedding venue, we relied on Edna for ideas, connections, and getting things done well, on time, with a smile and with experience. Edna is truly amazing! She made every aspect of our wedding beautiful and personalized. Edna Parker Dratch knows what you don't know. She knows how to put together a fabulous invitation at a reasonable cost. She know what's too much to ask of a bridesmaid. She can be a knowledgeable third party when you and the bride don't agree. She is a calming reassuring presence when you think you're going to lose it. She knows what looks good together and what doesn't. She knows what everything should cost. She's very accessable and she'll do the hard stuff so leave that to her and relax. And she has lots of good contacts. In the end you will save money with her help. So relax!!!

I just want to say that Edna was so great to work with! I had so many details to plan, and there were a million things that had to come together just right.
