The Best Wedding Venue on Long Island

The Estate at East Wind is an Amazing venue with beautiful grounds for photographers. The wedding was absolutely the best. From the set-up, to the food, to the services from the staff. Also, a big shout out to the Banquet Manager Nicole McGregor. She was great from start to finish. And she even showed up at the event to check in on everything. Everyone just completely catered to all of our needs.

Our Wedding

Our wedding, which was in October of 23', from start to finish was incredible! Jennifer was an amazing coordinator who answered any and all of my questions! She was incredible to work with and very knowledgable in guiding us throughout the whole process. Our ceremony was supposed to be outside, however weather did not permit this to happen so we had our ceremony in the space downstairs which was all done up and just as gorgeous as the outside ceremony space! We were in the Veranda room which was absolutely stunning! Our guests are still raving about the space and delicious food! There are not enough good things I can say about this incredible spot! The all inclusive package made everything so worth it and gave us plenty of options! We are so thankful to all the staff at East Wind for our incredible time there! We want to relive it over and over again!

Absolutely Amazing!

Our wedding at The East Wind was an absolute DREAM come true. When reading reviews, the ones that really stood out were the ones about Jennifer. We booked an appointment and she greeted us with her amazing smile and extremely outgoing personality. She felt like family (and quickly became part of it). She listened to what we wanted, learned about us & never ever pushed us one way or another. She came back with options that she felt worked for us. We quickly decided this was the place for us.

We didn’t want a long engagement & we signed our contract to have our wedding in the Northampton Ballroom on 11.11.22 for our wedding on 11.11.23. We felt the price was affordable and we were getting SO much for our money.

Jennifer is a GREAT communicator, too great if you ask me. I would have to yell at her for answering my emails on her days off. When we were reaching our final appointment I was starting to get frazzled. I was emailing Jenn on different email chains with different questions. Even though she says I didn’t drive her crazy, I know I did. I will forever be grateful for her help in bringing our vision of a perfect day to life.

There are always hiccups, however, Jennifer took any troubles we were having, assured us they would be taken care of by her personally, and they were. We never felt that we were on our own.

We met our Maitre D’ Scott at our final appointment. He listened to our vision for the day, worked with us to ensure it would all be executed FLAWLESSLY & he came through. All the planning and little details were getting us too frazzled. We communicated best we could & just let go. We let Scott work his magic, & he made it one thousand times better than we could ever imagined. We both cried seeing the room for the first time.

Desmond’s - To make things even easier for us (annoying right?) they has an on site restaurant that we decided to have our rehearsal dinner in the night before. We worked with Rob. He helped us pick the menu that worked best for us. We weren’t rushed, & they let us enjoy ourselves. We invited our families for brunch the morning after the wedding & we had a great time. We stayed from basically open to close of the buffet, & just reminisced about the night before. Which EVERYONE loved.

We both decided to stay in the inn the night before the wedding. We wanted to keep tradition and not see or even speak to each other the day of the wedding. Lauren made sure we were on separate floors, & in areas we wouldn’t run in to each other. All of our guests who stayed in the inn raved about their rooms & loved the accommodations. They only let you book 10 rooms within a block, which wasn’t ideal for us. We understood we picked a popular day, & there were other weddings going on in other rooms, which had NO impact on us, by the way.

Fab, or bridal attendant is amazing. She ALWAYS made sure we had a drink in our hand, & made sure we were staying hydrated too. My wife had 35 bustles on her dress. As our guests enjoyed cocktail hour, she worked on this dress while my wife and I enjoyed the food they brought to our bridal suite. Fab still made sure we were able to get to the cocktail hour and see our guests.

The family we have made here will always have a special place in our hearts. We will always be grateful for how they made us feel & the love they showered us with.

Jennifer, let’s get planning on the baby showers, christenings, & vow renewals ASAP!

Wonderful experience

We wed at the Vineyard at East Wind in October and we had the picture perfect wedding day. The grounds are immaculately groomed and the landscaping is breathtaking. From the moment you enter the vineyard, you'll know you made the right choice. The food is excellent as the staff so attentive, professional and caring. My guests still haven't stopped talking about our wedding and quite a few of them have stated that is where they would like their wedding to be. A hug shoutout to Jennifer M., Joe C., Joey Bowtie and Barbara - they are the ones who brought us through step one till the end without a hitch! I really hope to be a guest at a wedding there soon!

East Wind is AMAZING!!!

East Wind was incredible! The staff was amazing and attentive and made everything magical. The Maitre' D "Joe" brought my vision to life! The food was amazing and the bakery they used for our cake OMG!! Everyone was so sweet and amazing, I can not recommend East Wind more!! Nicole McGregor was our event manager and she is so full of life and so sweet and helpful!! THE BEST!!

Rehearsal dinner
Had my rehearsal dinner at Ruggeros. It was amazing. From the food to the drinks to Alyssa the manager making sure everything was taken care of. The servers were all on point. We had the private room in the back, which was so nice, and my guests were able to go right outside if they needed to. The chef even went out of his way to make my grandma a plain piece of salmon because she can’t eat much or have any seasoning. 10/10 would recommend Ruggeros to anyone looking for a rehearsal dinner.
Estate at east wind
Had my wedding the day before Easter. East Wind was on point and didn’t miss a beat for anything. My Maître d tony, was amazing. We didn’t do a rehearsal, but tony made sure everyone knew what they were doing and when they were doing it. I didn’t have to worry about a thing knowing he was handling the event. The cocktail hour was amazing, my guests keep raving about the different stations, the extravagant set up of every station all the way down to the small details. The Chef really out did himself with the food. It was an insane amount of food. I’ve been to other weddings and haven’t seen this much food being served at cocktail ours. My bridal attendant was Mary Lou and she was better than I could expect. My mom was very nervous about bustling my dress and Mary Lou handled it so well. I never had an empty hand. She even had bud lights waiting for us after our ceremony. She calmed us down, made sure we had a minute to ourselves before we met our guests. I can’t thank her enough for how amazing she was. The rest of the staff was on point from what my family and friends have told me. Every table had only good things to share about the service they received. The bartenders were making good drinks and even played along with our “signature drink” which was icing our bridal party. Guests continue to tell us how amazing of a wedding this was, and I can’t stop praising east wind and the job they did. 10/10 would recommend and I can’t wait to be a guest at my friend and cousins weddings at East wind that are coming up this year.
Carousel bake shop
Carousel did my groomsmen cake, as well as my wedding cake. I gave the baker m idea for the groom’s men cake, and she took It and ran. It was a Jets jersey, and it came out so realistic. My husband loved it and didn’t even want to cut into it. Just wanted to keep looking at it. For my wedding cake I let the baker use her creativity and do whatever she wanted. This was the best idea I could have had. She brought out the most amazing, and delicious cake I could never have dreamed of. I highly recommend carousel bake shop to anyone looking for any type of cake. 10/10

Front desk
Being that we had the rehearsal dinner here, most of my guests stayed both Friday and Saturday night. The Hotel manager, Luisa was on point. I have a bit of a momzilla, and Luisa was able to calm her down and help her organize all the front desk bags for check in. She also made sure all of my guests’ rooms were near one another and that my room and the grooms room weren’t near each other. She was super helpful and you can’t beat the rates we got. The next day we attended Easter brunch and it was phenomenal.

Amazing Wedding

The East Wind is amazing! I got married at the Estate and it could not have been better. The room was beautiful. Our Sunday wedding with our package deal was remarkable and our guests cannot stop talking about it! East wind gave us a great deal and worked with us through the pandemic. My sales rep Jennifer was a pleasure to work with in preparation for the event. Then our Maitre D, Tony, was great keeping our event running smoothly. Our bridal attendant, Mary Lou was OUTSTANDING. She catered to us all night. We even ended up going to Desmond’s in the Inn for three hours after the wedding and when everyone was tired they had the ability to go to the room block which was super convenient. Overall, I am so happy we chose to get married there!!

Wonderful Staff!

We had the most beautiful wedding at East Wind in March 2022 and everything was wonderful. Jennifer Mclaughlin was our wedding coordinator and helped us get everything in place in a very short timeframe and was amazing! She was professional, kind, helpful, responsive, and courteous! She is an asset to your business! We could not have done this without her! Our maître d, Joe, was spectacular and the staff was attentive and took care of guests wonderfully. We had so many compliments on how great the staff was. It was a professional and smooth event! Thank you!

Blown Away!

We had our wedding at The Estate at East Wind on 11/27/21 and could not have been more impressed about every single aspect of this venue! From making a seamless and stress free transition from our original date due to covid, to being communicative and helpful in any questions we had in the process, and knocking us out with how impressed we were on the day of with the food, organization, and beautiful setup! Jennifer was our sales associate/manager/coordinator through the whole process and she was absolutely great, kind, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

Tony was our Matir'd the day of and he was so nice, accommodating, and did everything he could to make sure the day went on without a problem. He was present the entire night and truly made our experience wonderful. Not to mention he was so personable. Mary Lou was our bridal attendant and I couldn't say more amazing things about her!! She was so sweet, present, and did everything she possibly could to make sure we were taken care of that night, well fed, and doing ok! She truly worked so hard! All of the waitstaff was very nice, professional, and offered fantastic service.

The Estate is absolutely stunning and we were blown away with the beauty and transition of our indoor ceremony to the reception room. Our guests didn't even know it was the same room! The cocktail hour was also unbelievably impressive with the amount of food, and the quality! The food at the reception was also phenomenal and we appreciated everyone basically getting their food around the same time, quickly, and hot! The bartenders and drinks were also phenomenal!

We made the absolute best decision in choosing this venue and would not change a thing if we could do it all over again!

East wind caterers

We can't say enough about our wonderful experience at Eastwind..Jennifer, Jackie and the director of sales, Michael, were an intrical part of our decision. They gave 100% attention to what our budget allowed and planned an amazing menu and showed us around the beautiful property. We jBe a December 2023 wedding booked!!! Our amazing wedding day thanks to east wind

My hubby and I had our reception at the Estate at East Wind Long Island on Saturday November 16th, 2019. We cannot say enough great things about our wedding day. From the very beginning when we initially booked them (they were our first and last stop when we went wedding venue shopping..never even had to go anywhere else), the entire journey of planning and then to the big finale, everyone and everything was top notch. Michele Testa was our wedding organizer for East Wind and she was amazing. Helping us stay grounded and ensuring that our day was going to be everything we wanted and more. Our Maitre'd Tony and bridal attendant Mary Lou were phenomenal. Alex and I did nothing but ENJOY ourselves the entire weekend. The entire staff was so attentive, professional, and truly made us and our guests feel right at home. If I could do our wedding day all over again there is not one thing I would change. The East Wind gave us the best experience any bride and groom could ask for and we are forever grateful.

Could not have had a better perfect day

East Wind was everything I could have imagined for my special day. Their staff was super professional and catered to my every need. Jennifer was amazing she guided me through all my uncertainties and made sure that I felt secure and happy in every decision that we needed to make. I was beyond happy with our maitre d. The waitstaff provided excellent service and the bartender was on point. It was a my dream fairytale... my only wish is to have a do-over to experience it all over again.

Beautiful venue with incredible package deal!

I looked at about 20 different venues throughout the course of 2 months (only had FH come to about 3 for initial visit and then the 3 that I narrowed it down to). We are so excited for our wedding at East Wind in their Veranda room in October 2020! The space is beautiful and they offer a great package which includes several reputable vendors so that we don't have to spend a ton extra on each service! Jennifer in Banquet Sales has been a pleasure to work with and very helpful with my many questions before, during, and since booking! They also host several wedding expos each year to make it easier to meet vendors & make appointments without having to make tons of phone calls and store visits. This is extremely helpful since I'm doing all the planning myself (with input from FH of course) to avoid the additional cost of a planner.

First venue to tour & we booked!

I have to admit, East Wind was not my first choice when I started to think about my wedding venue. But, we decided to tour East Wind first because it is the closest to our home. We ended up loving everything about it and Penny was amazing. Looking at your first venue is overwhelming because you don't even know what you're in for but Penny seriously made it effortless. I'm glad to say we left feeling like we didn't need to look elsewhere. This is only phase one and I can't wait to continue working with Penny & everyone at East Wind.

Absolutely Amazing

Let me start by stating that I never write reviews. After having my wedding this past Saturday at East Wind, I felt I needed everyone to know my experience. One word. AMAZING. Michele Testa was our wedding coordinator and she was always there and always responsive to our emails and calls, even when she wasn't in the office. We were assigned Luis as our Maitre D' and he was absolutely incredible. He was so organized and waited on me hand and foot. I was introduced to my bridal attendant the day of the wedding (I sadly forget her name) but she was there holding the train to my dress and getting my husband and I drinks and food the whole time. Her and Luis even packed some food for us later that night to keep in our hotel room. The food was INCREDIBLE. My husband and I plan on renewing our vows down the road and will 100% book with this venue again. I recommend this venue to everyone and anyone. Literally the best day of my life thanks to everyone at East Wind.

Truly amazing

I couldn't have asked for a better experience from the moment I sat down with Tia (my wedding planner) until the very end of the event there wasn't a moment that wasnt amazing. The food was amazing the venue was gorgeous. The whole day was something my husband and I will never forget. East Wind truly exceeded all of our expectations.

Awesome! Penny F. Was our Banquet manager. She was timely with all her responses and helpful right up until the last few days before the wedding. She help to a ert a major problem between us and ADA. All was resolved amicably. Thanks to Penny the owner of East Wind and the owner of ADA.
We were assigned Tony as Maitre'D. We had everything boxed and labeled and he set up everything exactly as we discussed. He watched the weather and made the right call for us to be outside. The guests raved about the grounds and the food. This wedding was a fairy tale that became a reality. It couldn't have happened anywhere but East Wind. They know how to make a bride feel special.

Highly recommend the Cottage at East Wind. Everything from beginning to end was exactly as we imagined and perfectly executed. We love it there it is beyond gorgeous both inside and out. From the moment we met Tia in sales we knew we were in the best of hands. She was kind, extremely knowledgeable and most importantly honest. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and get to know her. She answered any question we had quickly and was full of knowledge. The venue is enchanting. The bridal suite were a great place for the wedding parties to congregate and relax during the downtime. We had an outdoor ceremony--which was just breathtaking!!! Kathleen was our maitre d and I seriously cannot rave about her enough. She made my wedding into my DREAM wedding. She executes everything beautifully and doesn't miss a step. It was a pleasure and an honor to have my wedding here! Special shout out to my bridal assistant Barbara who became like a friend to us. She was always in arms reach when I needed help or had a question, but was never over powering. We never had an empty glass, she made sure we were fed and were truly enjoying ourselves. I seriously cannot thank East Wind enough for making my wedding day STRESS free! Everybody at the wedding had the most magical and amazing time and everyone can’t stop saying how our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to! The food, the ambience, the drinks, The service was all phenomenal! I highly highly recommend getting married at the East Wind cottage. I hope that one of my friends can get married there so that I can experience it as a guest! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for not only myself but my bridal party and family and friends.

Honestly we could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out. After pricing out several different venues and getting discouraged, we went to go look at East Wind on a whim (I think we saw a commercial) and fell in love with the venue and the packages are so affordable and make planning so super easy. As a busy full time working mom to a little girl, my free time is precious and to be frank I didn't want to spend too much time planning and researching.

Penny was our coordinator and she was so responsive and flexible. Kathleen was our maitre'd and she is 100% responsible for how smoothly the day flowed. And Judy was my bridal attendant who thought of everything.

Seriously, thank you guys for making our day a huge success!

We got Married 3/3/18! We had our reception at the Estate at East Wind. To start, we began planning our wedding a whole 2 years in advance. In that time we visited at least 12 venues on Long Island, falling absolutely in love with The Estate! The Estate is absolutely stunning and East Wind has everything you will need the day/night of your wedding all in one place. Our original sales person was Faith, who ultimately left East Wind. We were then assigned to Melissa, who even though we never actually met, was extremely responsive via e-mail and she ensured to accommodate all of the request/agreements Faith and I had already made. Luisa the Manager at the INN (hotel) was absolutely amazing. She responded to every single e-mail regarding our room block immediately. She was extremely professional and accommodating to all our requests. Scott our Maitre'd and Mary Lou our Bridal Attendant were beyond amazing! From, ensuring all our details the day of our big day were perfect, to "fluffing" my dress, and putting on my lip stick, they catered to each and everyone of our needs!!! We have zero complaints with how our wedding day/night went and this is thanks to the wonderful staff at East Wind. Every single person who worked our wedding went above and beyond to make sure we were Happy! Thank you everyone at East Wind for making our day extra special!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience from the moment I sat down with Michelle (my wedding planner) until the very end of the event there wasn't a moment that I questioned if it was the experience I was hoping for. Our wedding was an absolute WOW factor for many of our guests. We had the best experience with East Wind for our wedding in the Estate. Although we had a few bumps in the road everything was worked out wth ease between Penny our marketing contact and Scott our Estate Maitre D. We were able to come in early the day before to set up the estate to the way I wanted to to look and they were flexible with my crazy ideas I had worked out (disco ball, escort card arch way etc). We had a wonderful experience from staying at the hotel the night before, to take pictures before cocktail hour, and to the entire reception. We could not have imagined a better location for our reception.

We worked with the most wonderful matre D and bridal attendant. They made sure my husband to be and I had everything we needed and more. I cant begin to express my gratitude towards East Wind and how wonderful they were. The staff was amazing and we are definitely recommending East Wind to all of our friends who are newly engaged. Not to mention they have this amazing package that includes, DJ, Florist and Limos. That alone takes the pressure off of finding the right vendors. We got married at The Estate at East Wind in June 2016. We booked exactly a year in advance and the process could not have gone smoother. Compared to other venues we had seen, we were so impressed with how well-manicured the grounds of East Wind were and once we saw the outside ceremony space complete with the magnificent arbor at the Estate, we were sold. We worked with Faith who was absolutely amazing and always available to answer my questions even on her day off. She is such a sweet and calm person and really makes you feel as though she is as excited for your event as you are. We were lucky to have met her. For the day of, Scott was our maitre d and he was unbelievable, so professional and made the day run so smoothly. He fit right in with our bridal party and family and was extremely attentive to our needs. Bruna was my bridal attendant and was also very kind and attentive, making sure I looked perfect before going down the aisle, bustling my dress and bringing me plates of food during the cocktail hour although I was too nervous to eat. Everything at the Estate was impeccable - the rooms and outside area where we got married were absolutely gorgeous and everyone kept raving about how good the food was (and our family knows good food!). It was also perfect having the hotel right next door, as we walked across the parking lot and had our after party at Desmond's, the hotel restaurant, and then everyone stayed at the hotel, which is beautiful and so well-maintained. We got many compliments that we chose the perfect place and that it was the best wedding our guests had ever been to. Thank you to Faith, Scott, Bruna and the entire team at East Wind for making our wedding a dream come true!

The food was amazing and the Northampton was beautiful and didn't make our guests feel on top of one another . Book your wedding with penny! She was very nice and amazing. When my husband and I had questions and emailed her, we received the responses right back.
Ask for tony to be your maitre d and jackeline as your bridal attendant. They were absolutely amazing!!!!!!!
Everyone we worked with felt like we knew them for a long time and felt like family!
They all helped make our wedding a day we will never forget!! We got married on 0ctober 2, 2016, and we still are getting texts and calls saying our wedding was the best wedding they have gone to in a long time :-)

This location is beautiful! Our guests are still raving about how much they loved the place and the food. I was afraid when I began to get a lot of denials on my reply cards due to distance. It was something of an issue for my NYC guests. However it was worth it for those who came. Going back probably would have hired a shuttle. East wind is elegant and Victorian feeling. The venue has indoor and outdoor options. There is just as much photo opportunity inside as outside. Came in handy when it rained on the day of my wedding. The food was amazing which is not easily said when it comes to wedding food. Some of my favorites were rice balls, salmon, stuffed shrimp, coconut shrimp and vegetable lasagna. They were accommodating with my no alcohol request and offered mocktails to my guests like pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris. And my beautiful wedding cake from a local bakery they have contract with. No one left hungry. Both my Maitre D Suzanne and Jacqueline my bridal attendant were amazing. Thanks to Suzanne my guests felt very special. And thanks to Jacqueline me and my husband felt well taken care of. Very grateful to have found this venue, thanks to Penny for helping me with my vision from the beginning. Best of all east wind also being a hotel, with spa and shoppes and local activities, I always have the option of returning back with my husband to the place we married.

We got married at the Cottage and Penny was our coordinator. Everything went so smoothly and great! I have nothing but fantastic memories of our wedding. They were so easy to work with which was great as I was planning our wedding from GA and SC (I made two trips up there for planning). Having pretty much everything all inclusive was FANTASTIC! I loved the fact that we only had two choices for DJ and Photography, otherwise I would have gone crazy trying to find one while being out of state. The food was awesome! DJ was though Long Island Sound and they were GREAT! We also used ADA for our photos which I am positive will be awesome (still waiting on the proofs, but it's still early)! The Maitre'd and Bridal Assistant made sure that not only we were well taken care of, but our guests were as well. We had flowers done through With All My Heart and they were gorgeous as well. All of our guests had a great time, people are still raving about how much fun it was! We will never forget how great that day was!

We just signed our contract on Sunday. EVERYTHING about this process of finding a venue has been 300X easier than I would of ever expected. And that is because of Faith at East Wind. She is so easy to talk to and she listens to every detail you have for her!! I left our first meeting and burst into tears of joy I was so happy! She answers my emails quickly and no matter how silly of a question I have she answers it perfectly! I did ensure she is going to be my point of contact from now until our wedding, I couldn't imagine doing this without her insight, knowledge, or her bubbly personality!! She is amazing! I made my apt last minute unlike my other three that were months in advance and i got the best results out of my four appointments.
I met with Keith and he helped us hand and foot. he started out by saying i am a sales man i am going to sell you the place!
this was the best experience ever! He showed us all the locations suitable for me and explained why i couldn't have it in another location (my party was too big) the areas were so beautiful, very impressive. we went over everything i did not have to ask him a thing on my check list and went over more than that. he told us not to worry when aunt Milly picks up the plates to inspect them that she will see that they are the best quality, and he was also joking about how he loves chairs but made a very good point in that the chairs were solid one piece so they would not have screw in tops and have some missing thorough out the area, so you wont see that in any pictures. he was by far the best like i said every detail was explained. We still had one last location and when it was to our liking we called up Keith and asked if we can met with him again and see the place show my other in-laws, can i be there in an hour and he said of course and hour is perfect. the staff was always greeted us as we walked through the rooms. so impressive. the price was for a package and let me say it was the best i have seen especially for what it included for 150 people photography, DJ, flower centerpieces and cake all for under 20, the man did good. they have two very large generators so you never have to worry but also found out that during sandy they took other brides during sandy that almost got cancelled and saved them by hosting it at east wind and honoring whatever price they had even if it was a lower rate. i was filled with joy when i hear this. their menu is large and goes on and on which is all included in the package with a welcome champagne and free second plating during dinner. This place is amazing!!

When we were booking this venue we were amazed at the professionalism of the staff. We witnessed one of the waitresses polishing the bride and grooms silverware hours before the event. It was amazing to see how much time and effort they put into the weddings there.

East Wind made our big day phenomenal. It was everything that we hoped and dreamed of. The cottage was gorgeous. We had an outdoor ceremony on premises. Breathtaking!!! Kathleen was our Matre'D and kept it all organized. Judy was my bridal attendant and such a sweetheart. The whole experience from the first meeting with Kaitlyn to the last song was such a great one. I would definitely recommend East Wind to any bride and groom.

I can not say enough about East Wind. If you are looking for a venue that will meet all of your expectations and then some more, East Wind is the way to go. The food is amazing, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff is awesome! My guests are still talking about my wedding 3 weeks later. I had the pleasure of working with Faith. Faith is fun, sweet, charismatic, and gets it done! There were a few changes that I asked for, and Faith made it happen. She was so helpful, patient, and made me feel so comfortable in answering all of my questions and dealing with any concerns…and I had a million questions. She's really fantastic. My maitre'd was Suzanne. I don't think there could possibly be a better maitre'd. Everything went smoothly from set up to break down. There was not a glitch in the day! She even concerned herself with making sure I ate (because we all know the bride is always too busy to eat). Suzanne was on top of the game. There was not a moment of stress or concern throughout the day. My bridal attendant was Mary Lou. Love her. Mary Lou was so sweet and attentive, I couldn't have asked for a better attendant. Not only did she make sure my drink was never empty and my dress was perfect, at one point she was on the ground changing my shoes like I was Cinderella trying the glass slipper. She was amazing. My mother mentioned how much she loved the coconut shrimp and the chicken dish. Within 10 min she had an entire plate of shrimp for my mother and later wrapped up extra chicken for my mother to take home. My bustle ripped about an hour into the reception…Suzanne and Mary Lou Macgyver rigged up a bustle that held my dress for the rest of the night. I can't thank the East Wind enough for everything. My wedding was absolutely perfect!!!

Everything from beginning to end was absolutely amazing. My husband and I have a history at East Wind. We went to each others prom there and having our wedding there at the Estate was absolutely perfect. We can’t say one negative thing about the day. Laura was excellent to work with and was so helpful with planning and getting everything in order. When we met with Suzanne our Maitre De for the first time, we felt like we had known her for years. We felt like our wedding was truly special to her and that it wasn’t just another wedding. She paid attention to everything we wanted, every little detail and took notes. When we walked into the ballroom the day of our wedding we were speechless. It was so nice to see everything come together. We had the turquoise uplighting which looked amazing even on a bright sunny day. It really gave the room the extra touch! Diane, our bridal attendant was such a caring person! She was always helping me with my dress, making sure we had a drink in hand and helped us with pictures. Suzanne ensured everything went smoothly and as planned. She answered all our questions and was so professional and helpful! The food was AMAZING and the guests are still talking about how impressed they are with how much food we had. Our cake was delicious and everyone loved the chocolate fountain and Viennese platters. Another thing we are very happy with was the grounds, they were very well-kept and we got outstanding pictures!!! We were very nervous about the flower situation since the winter was so terrible but we had a beautiful sunny day on April 18th and there were flowers everywhere. I feel like I could write a book about how satisfied we are with East Wind and their staff and the amazing service and everything they did for us. Everyone went above and beyond. East Wind gave us our dream wedding and by far exceeded every expectation we had !! We are so happy that we chose this beautiful venue for our wedding!!

East Wind was by far the best value, food and location - and I'm not just saying it because it was my wedding. We chose the 150 person package for the Veranda room and got a ton of compliments. People are still telling me how fantastic everything was! Their cocktail hour was tremendous and the service is unparalleled. We were apprehensive about a package but Tommy Tunes and ADA really worked so nicely together. We were thrilled with everything. Mary Lou the bridal attendant was so attentive and caring. She made sure I had a cocktail and lip gloss throughout the night. I loved her!!!

Coming from a wedding and event vendor, I cannot say enough about East Wind and their staff! Our Wedding Day was so amazing with the most spectacular service and quality! We had our ceremony and reception at the Estate and everything was flawless and phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful location and the outstanding food! And the hotel accommodations were ideal. It was a wonderful experience for our guests and so much easier being that everyone could stay in one location. The East Wind is the perfect venue to have your dream wedding! My day went perfect and was absolutely memorable with thanks to the amazing and supporting staff we had throught the process. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge and the guests kept commenting on how much they enjoyed their meals. I am constantly told by my family that our wedding was truly an epic event and I believe that having my wedding here at the East Wind made my visions come to life! We booked with the all inclusive package at the inn in the Northampton ballroom and we loved how private our entrance was from the rest of the building, and the outdoor courtyard was absolutely gorgeous also! I highly recommend going to ALL the bridal showcases..they are super informative and every question you have will get answered by the end of the night because all of the vendors are there. You cannot go wrong with anyone over there..Plus you get a free buffet meal after! I also recommend going with the in house florist With All My Heart..their work is amazing and they truly listen to what you want and their floral arrangements are absolutely gorgeous! We had over 300 guests and all of them could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was, how great the food and service was and how absolutely breathtaking the grounds were. Our ceremony looked like it came out of a movie and the ballroom was transformed into the wedding of our dreams. Working with Michele Testa and the rest of the wedding teams at East Wind was a true joy and I cannot recommend this venue enough!! They are experts at events and know how to make your day perfect!!!

All of our guests are still raving about the venue everyone including us had a wonderful time. The food was outstanding and we couldn't haven't asked for more attentive and friendly staff. The whole process through East Wind was wonderful. We decided to do the all inclusive package which everything a breeze most everything was included with this package, DJ, Photographer, Video, Centerpieces, The Cake, and our room in East Winds gorgeous hotel. Couples have choices between benders for the package and we found out that East Wind not only has good relationships with their brides to be but all of their vendors as well! We planned our wedding long distance as we live upstate currently and the staff was always very accommodating and understanding of our planning limitations. I would have not chosen another venue for our wedding it was as close to perfect as perfect can be. Very pleased with our experience.

We had our wedding at The Cottage at East Wind. My husband and I can not say enough about this place that would be good enough to express how happy we were (and still are) with everything! From planning the ceremony and the reception to the actual day, everything ran smoothly. They were extremely helpful and professional. They made sure we were well taken care of and happy through out the whole year long process. We have guests that are still telling us it was the greatest wedding they have ever been to!!! We had our wedding at the cottage and we had an amazing time. Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely attentive, and helpful. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on the wedding day. They were organized and really knew what to do (which is awesome because I had no idea what I was doing.) They kept the party flowing and had the perfect timing for all of the food and activities. They worked well with our DJ (LI Sound) and photographer (Marco) and all got along perfectly. The weather was perfect sunny and 70. They had the grounds immaculate with beautiful flowers everywhere. We even had an after party in the hotel lobby and the bar. We couldn't have had a better location, weather, or staff. It was the perfect way to start our lives together.

Penny from banquet sales is the girl to call she was helpful guided us thru the process smoothly. Alyssa from room block worked with me answered my calls accurately and helped us even up to three days before the wedding. The most wonderful experience from start to finish! Our first encounter was with Penny who helped us in every way to plan our daughter's wedding. Her professionalism, patience, and fabulous personality made our planning a pleasure. The day of the event, Scott, our Maitre d, managed to have the entire wedding day run smoothly and made sure our guests had every possible offering available to them at all times without being intrusive, a true professional characteristic. His friendly demeanor helped us through this special day. Diane, special attendant for the event, went over and beyond her duties as she catered to everyone including my son and his family. She also was such a warm, caring, professional person. We cannot say enough about the service our guests received by each and every staff member. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I certainly would!!

Everything at East Wind was absolutely PERFECT! I did my pictures at the Inn then went over to the Estate. We did some cocktail hour stations outside, being that it was an absolutely perfect day. Guests raved about all of the food, and what we tasted was absolutely out of this world, which still amazes me as we had a ton of all different types of food. Our bridal attendant, Mary Lou, was absolutely amazing the entire time. She made sure that my husband and I were eating and drinking plenty of water, along with whatever we were drinking. The reception was absolutely flawless! The food there was just as good as the cocktail hour, and the service was impeccable! Everyone who was there absolutely raved about the food, service and venue. Scott was my Maitre'd and he went above and beyond! Every detail I told him was executed perfectly, I can't say enough good things about him! He's an absolute rockstar!

Just had our wedding on 5/25/14 in the Veranda Room. We are still amazed at how perfect everything was! Our guests haven't stopped raving about the food and how beautiful the grounds are. Our staff was unbelievably helpful. We booked with Michelle and from the minute she greeted us until our wedding day she treated us like royalty. She really made all of our dreams a possibility. Our day could not have turned out better and we couldn't be happier. Our Maître D and bridal attendant were the best! They made sure we wanted for nothing the entire night and took extra care of our VIP guests as well I can honestly say with confidence that if you want peace of mind when selected a wedding venue then East Wind is for you! It was perfection start to finish!

Absolutely fantastic! We just got married on Saturday (4/26), at the Estate at East Wind. We couldn't have been any happier.

We worked with Penny F. to book everything and she was a doll. She answered all our questions, threw in an ice sculpture, drinks for guest before the ceremony, and lowered the head count we needed for a Saturday afternoon wedding to help us with the price. We even got a huge deal on chair covers and sashes (at the last minute!), because we were not even sure we wanted them until 2 weeks before the wedding.

The staff at the Estate the day of the wedding was mind blowing. They were so great. Words cannot describe how great the maitre'd Suzanne and the bridal attendant Diane were. They made us feel so special and helped us through every step of the day. The waitstaff was excellent. The food was superb. The room was GORGEOUS. We got married inside because of the weather, but the window in the Estate was a gorgeous background. All we heard all day was how beautiful everything was, and how great the people and food were.

People couldn't believe how much food there was for cocktail hour, and how GOOD it all was. Everyone was so surprised and loved it. When seconds came around for dinner people's jaws dropped. Which halls let people how seconds?! It was fabulous. They even wrapped up food for my 91 year old grandma so she could take it home, and they did the same for both of us as well.

The staff even in the main building was great. Our photographer saw the big bridal sweet for the South Hampton Room, and wanted to take pictures there. The staff at East Wind said we could have it for 30 minutes (even though we weren't getting married in that room)!! We took gorgeous photos there. I can't wait to see the photos in that room.

I could go on and on about how great the day and the entire process with the staff at East Wind. I hope they read this and pass along all these words. We thank you all so much, and our wedding day was perfect!!!!!

We just loved the whole landscaping. Our wedding coordinator, Mike was amazing. From the moment I emailed him for information about the venue, he was informative and friendly. If you are looking for a comfortable location with a lot of accommodations, East Wind is absolutely perfect. We had our ceremony and reception at the Estate. We also had friends and family stay at the Inn for the weekend, and had our rehearsal dinner at Desomnds. Perfect cozy destination wedding weekend not to far from home!!! Words can not truly express the gratitude we have for the staff at the Eastwind. Jeff our wedding planner, answering emails at 10 o'clock at night, and putting us at ease knowing are in great hands. Kathleen our maître d, being every where yet by our side when ever we had a question. Judy our bridal attendant, being a sweet heart and making sure we had what me needed food, drink, flip flops, and grabbing a person when we had to speak to them.

Many of our guests are saying this was one of/ if not the best wedding they have been to.
The cottage grounds were abso-freakin-beautiful, and the weather was 68 and sunny.
I could not have asked for a better time THANK YOU.

The bride says for a day that most girls have been dreaming of and waiting for, was executed far beyond what my mind ever could have created from when I was little up until now. Marrying my husband was a dream come true, but doing it at Eastwind was the second best decision I've ever made. ( first was marrying him)

My reception was at the estate at Eastwind. Not only was is beautiful but the food was amazing! They were so accommodating and gave me whatever I wanted! Everyone raved about the food! Even though everyone was stuffed after cocktail hour, guests could get more than one entree if they wanted! Being the bride, I didn't get a chance to eat my dinner so they were nice enough to pack each dish I wanted to go. My husband and I ate in our gorgeous room that night! They have an indoor pool and we took advantage of that the next morning! It was so nice to just relax the next morning! We got breakfast and went wine tasting! It's like a mini destination wedding!

There isn't enough space to rave about Eastwind! From the moment I walked in I knew that was where I would get married. It is such a beautiful place. Mike was Fantastic! He completely took care of us. All the staff was Fabulous-my bridal attendant MaryLou was amazing. I didn't need a thing that day-she took care of everything. East Wind was a wonderful place to have our wedding! It's totally self-contained and has all that you need in one place. Our party was in the Veranda Room, and the cocktail hour overlooked their famous staircase. The room itself has a huge bar and giant dance floor and was perfect size for my 135 guests. The food was fantastic, and the setting can't be beat. It's a beautiful venue with tons of places to take pictures. We had many guests stay over and we had a little after party and then a breakfast buffet the next morning as Desmond's. The breakfast was very good and the pricing was so reasonable for a buffet.
My ONLY complaint would be that they never served the hot food from the cocktail hour in the bridal suite when we got there. We got a few trays of hors de ouvres and drinks but that was it. Everyone raved about the cocktail hour, and I never got to try any of the food. We spent most of the cocktail hour saying hello to our guests, and it goes so fast. I would have appreciated having the food set up in the bridal suite right when we arrived at East Wind so I would have been able to enjoy it as well. The people that we worked with at East Wind from beginning to end were fantastic and knew what they were doing every step of the way, especially Jeff!! I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of, and after the party all my gifts and extras were packed up and wheeled right to my room. We had a great time and got tons of food to go home with (except the cocktail hour food! ; ) I'll need a friend to have their wedding there so I can go as a guest and eat everything!

East Wind was an AMAZING place to get married! Even though it is a large catering hall, the fact that it has separate entrances and parking lots for each of its events makes you feel as if you are the only bride there. The service we received was amazing. Penny, our consultant, was unbelievable - incredibly responsive and always on hand if we needed anything at all. On the day of the wedding my husband and I were treated like royalty - we never wanted for anything and were literally waited on hand and foot - it was incredible! The price was fantastic for what we got - we didn't even purchase any extras and still had more food and fabulousness than we ever could have wanted! All of our guests commented on how beautiful the hall was, how delicious the food, and how great the overall experience. After hurricane Sandy ruined our wedding venue, we were scrambling for a place to hold our wedding just TWO days before!. We booked with East Wind Friday night & had our beautiful fall wedding that Sunday morning. I don't even know where to begin with East Wind! first of all, they matched the price of our original venue (who refunded us), tried their best to match our menu as well (though I did have to throw away my old menus) and they tried to make my day as perfect as I had envisioned for the last 15 months as they could. They set us up in their Cottage area, which I loved since it's off their main property and totally secluded with one wedding at a time!. They unlocked the bridal suite at 6am for us so we could start getting ready because we still had no power at our home, amazing. Mike, Suzanne and Judy went above and beyond for us. They got all of my little details in like my signature drink and fingerprint guest book tree, they really did everything they could possibly do to make my wedding just like the wedding I was supposed to have at our previous location. We are so blessed to have found them!. When Judy found out that we did not have a hotel room for the night because of our original venue losing power (it was an Inn) they found us a king sized suite within minutes! we were so floored, since we had been on the waiting list!. We were so, so impressed with East Wind for not only their hospitality but their kindness and their compassion towards our situation and for all of their help!. Book now, you will not be disappointed. All of our guest were totally floored with this beautiful, stunning location out east...it really was the perfect place for our fall wedding. Even if it wasn't what we had booked and imagined for so long, it was perfect.

East Wind Caterers did an excellent job with my wedding. The staff is extremely thorough, cooperative, and helpful. The entire day went off without a hitch and as a nervous bride, I couldn't have been happier. My banquet manager, Elizabeth, stepped up to handle my wedding after my previous banquet manager had left. She was very nice and I was very pleased to get to work with her. She assigned Suzanne as my maitre'd and Marylou as my bridal attendant. These two ladies were unbelievably helpful and attentive. I wouldn't have been able to juggle all the vendors, questions, and responsibilities without their assistance. Besides being excellent workers, they were incredibly sweet. I would gladly recommend East Wind as a venue to any future bride. Excellent staff, beautiful ballroom, and an even more beautiful ceremony site.

The Rehearsal dinner was held at Desmod's Restaurant located in the Inn at East Wind on Friday.
The reception was held in the Estate at East Wind on Saturday.
Desmond's Restaurant offers a brunch on Sundays which my guests were extremely grateful for after a night of parting!
-Eastwind's website does not do it justice. I would recommend actually going there to see the venue.

Everything came out better than i could have ever imagined. The food was amazing, room looked beautiful, the ceremony was absolutely gorgeous!!! Also the staff including the maitre d' and the "Lady in Waiting" were absolutely the best!!! They made the entire wedding go seemlessly. Any thing i could of possibly needed they had within seconds. I would most definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I can't say enough about the staff at East Wind. We had the best time and the accommodations were more than I would ever ask for! My guests were amazed by food, decor and hotel rooms. Best place to have a wedding on the island. You feel like you are someone else!
