I used Deonna's services and talents for my engagement party and I could not have been more pleased. As the groom, my responsibilities were few, so I wanted to get a great photographer who knew what to shoot, how to shoot it, and when to get the right shots. I was not disappointed. Referred to me by a friend who used her in the past, I checked out her website and liked what I saw. Flash forward to the engagement party - We did the usual shots, walking, talking, holding hands, looking all cute, shots with the family, etc. But then it came to the dancing, and I knew Deonna was the best pick, because of one particular moment. I saw my cousin's four-year old daughter dancing with her grandfather, and I immediately went searching for Deonna to ask her to get a shot of that moment. After a few glances around the venue, I saw that Deonna was already there, photographing them. Some might say it's common sense to grab that shot, but it showed me that Deonna had a true eye for photographing engagements, weddings, and other parties. It was then that I had a feeling the product we would receive would not be disappointing. Flash forward to our receipt of the online image gallery, and I was, once again, not disappointed. My fiance, my future in-laws, my parents, and our families all loved the photographs, and the quality of the photographs. We've since asked Deonna to photograph our wedding and I can't wait to see how she photographs it!

I hired Deonna for my destination wedding a few months ago. It was one of the best decisions I could have made for my wedding day! She is so easy to work with, very focused, and takes the most BEAUTIFUL photos! It ended up raining on my wedding day, but Deonna was up for the challenge. She knew exactly where to take me and my husband to still capture our special day. She is truly a master of her craft! I know there are a lot of choices out there for wedding vendors - especially photography- but she is definitely a cut above the rest! I would highly recommend Deonna for any bride to be!!!

Choosing Deonna for our wedding photography was one of the best decisions we made for our entire wedding! Not only was she a delight to work with, she made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Her work speaks for itself. Deonna captured a mix of traditional family photos, beautiful candids of the guests and artsy shots of the decor/rooms/bride & groom. She balanced the perfect blend and was everything you would want in a wedding photographer. I would recommend Deonna again and again to anyone searching!

Deonna and her assistant Peter were absolutely awesome! They were incredibly perceptive and got amazing shots. Our wedding day was raining non-stop but we still have gorgeous pictures to memorialize the day! Deonna takes brilliant candid shots which are very artistic. 100% satisfied :)

Deonna was amazing to work with since day 1! We were choosing between a few photographers, but I felt an immediate bond during our meeting. She listened to every detail (I had a lot), question, and concerns I had right from out first meeting. Since our wedding was in October we had limited time with the sun setting after our ceremony. She knew exactly what needed to happen in order to capture the most gorgeous pictures. We were able to meet with her a couple times before the wedding to make sure everything was planned out. She was very organized from start to finish! I felt very confident with her creative vision and my expectations throughout the day that this was a perfect match. Deonna's communication exceeded my expectations as she always responded same day with any questions that came up before the wedding. Her prices are very fair for what is included in the package especially having a second photographer was amazing!

The day of the wedding she showed up on time and was ready to go immediately snapping pictures and letting me know time frame. She was amazing with navigating the whole crew and keeping everyone focused as I had huge list of pictures I had on my list :) The ceremony pictures were just breathtaking. We took our next set of pictures on the golf course and we made it in time to be able to snap some pictures of the sun setting in the background. These were my favorite pictures because she was so creative and very easy to work with.

Overall, I would highly recommend Deonna to be able to shoot your wedding because of her excellent communication, easy to work with ,and very friendly and patient personality. You will not be disappointed and have beautiful pictures to remember forever!

We just got our wedding photos back and I am extremely happy with them! I love looking at them- Deonna's work is excellent. She was very easy to work with, took creative photos, and has always responded to questions very quickly throughout the entire process. The package we got includes a wedding album that she will put together for us. The photos are easy to access and easy for guests to view as well. Deonna also makes the appropriate edits, when needed, to the photos that helped to enhance the pictures. All of our friends and family that have looked at the pictures love them too and we have gotten tons of compliments. We had a lot of fun working with her and would recommend her to friends and family!

Deonna was wonderful and her work was beautiful! We got married in October and were planning our wedding from out of town. She made the whole process so easy and could not have been nicer or easier to get a hold of which was great since we were doing all our planning from a different state. The day of the wedding she was right on time and had already scoped out our venue so she knew where the best places to take pictures would be. We are very excited to get our Album from her!

Working with Deonna for our engagement session and wedding was a lot of fun. She was up for anything and always willing to get the shot.

My husband and I are were very happy with Deonna! I wanted quality pictures but also a good price. I talked to a lot of photographers and she stood out because she was superr nice on the phone and I knew I wanted to meet her. When we finally met her ...she did not disappoint! She's super friendly and willing to listen to you about your special day. We have a HUGE family and church family pictures can easily become a disaster especially when you have a time crunch. We made sure to have an organized picture list but she made sure to be efficient with the pictures and we were able to fit them all in our timeframe. On my wedding day she helped me feel calm as well, definitely a plus with a photographer on your wedding day. We got the pictures on a flashdrive within 2 weeks after our wedding and we really like them! Our parents are super impressed with her timing. She is also very responsive to any questions you may have. I definitely think she is a great deal for the money she is asking for. Would definitely recommend her especially if you want to make a stress free decision! Thanks so much Deonna!

My husband and I hired Deonna for our wedding based solely on her work we had seen on her website. We wanted quality photographs but didn't want to pay $5,000 for the most sought after photographers in the Chicagoland area. In my opinion, Deonna's photos are worth so much more than she charges, compared to other wedding photographers in the area.

We are SO happy we chose Deonna! Not only are her photographs AMAZING, she was so lovely to work with. She was quick to respond to questions during the planning process and was cool and patient, but efficient, the day of the wedding. We had a second photographer, Tracy, also present the day of the wedding. She was also wonderful!

You will not be disappointed with Deonna Caruso Photogaphy - I cannot say enough good things! Thank you, Deonna!

Deonna is a fantastic photographer! We hired her for our August 2013 wedding and could not be happier. Deonna has such a bubbly personality and her love for photography shows through the moment you meet her. We worked with Deonna for both our wedding and engagement photos. My husband and I hadn't really taken professional photos together and Deonna made our engagement shoot very relaxed and lots of fun.

Deonna and her assistant did a phenomenal job capturing our wedding day. She has a great eye for detail, which was great since we didn't really get to spend much time admiring the flowers, decor or dessert table. Deonna came early to scout out our wedding site (ceremony and reception were at the same venue), and was able to get some amazing shots of us and our guests from all different vantage points. We could not be happier with our wedding photos, and like we told Deonna, our wedding photos were exactly what we thought wedding photos should be and so much more!

My husband and I got married a month ago, and we were THRILLED with Deonna. We were very, very picky with what we were looking for in a photographer. We wanted somebody who was a good mixture of artsy and classic, somebody who would take some photojournalism shots, but also incorporate the formal shots we wanted also. After seeing Deonna's albums online, I knew her style fit us right away. We first met her when we did our engagement photo session. She drove an hour out to our location, and was very open to our ideas and incorporated some props that I had brought to use. Despite being the middle of February and it being 20 degrees outside, she took some really amazing shots of us outside in the snow, and also in our local starbucks (where my husband and I first met).
Deonna is very timely in her responses, both via e-mail and phone. I never felt like I couldn't get a hold of her, and she was frequently in contact with us regarding when we would be receiving things and what we should do. On our wedding day, I felt like she perfectly captured the entire timeline of events, which is exactly what I wanted. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE my wedding photos. It took less than a month to get them back, and I was immediately able to share them online with family and friends. She also sent me a flash drive of all the images so I can do what I want with them. They are absolutely beautiful. Her pose ideas for my wedding party were so cute and the candid shots are so much fun. I had even sent her a couple ideas for shots and she was able to do those as well. She captured all the major moments of our day as well as the tiny details. Deonna has the sweetest personality, and was so easy to work with. She is very bubbly and friendly and was such a joy to have around us on our wedding day. She doesn't feel like somebody I hired, she feels more like a friend! I will definitely be using her for future picture occasions like baby pictures or family photos.

I used Deonna and her team to capture our wedding day almost a year ago! I originally met her through a close friend so I had some knowledge of her work. My husband and I had a fairly short engagement and were wedding planning out of state. We have also been a part of quite a few weddings so we had a good idea of what we wanted. When we started to gather quotes for various wedding vendors, we were pleasantly surprised to see how affordable Deonna was compared to other Chicago vendors.

A few days before our wedding, I provided a list of photos we wanted throughout the day. Deonna customized the list to maximize time and efficiency at the various locations. She also scouted out several locations throughout our reception that had not crossed my mind. I really loved that she was able to track down so many friends and family throughout the night without having to follow me around. I was able to enjoy our entire reception! You can't beat the price and professionalism you will receive from Deonna Caruso Photography. One year later, we are still thrilled with our photos!

Deonna did a beautiful job on the photography for my wedding at the Lake Forest Armour house. Deonna met with my mom and I to discuss her services; at this meeting her professionalism and quality of work was very impressive. Her style of photography was exactly what I envisioned for my wedding. She kept in touch with my family and me throughout the wedding planning planning process and got to know us. She made us comfortable on our wedding day, and it felt very natural. She captured the beautiful setting and emotion of that day. I am so thankful for the moments she captured! In every photo you feel like you are at the wedding you are looking through. There is so much emotion and beauty behind each one, you cannot help but be drawn in. I was beyond impressed with our experience and final product. Deonna is both professional and easy to work with, you almost feel like she's part of the wedding itself! Deonna did an exceptional job with our photography for our engagement and our wedding. Along with her 2nd photographer Peter, they captured every moment of our day. Our pictures will make statements for years to come. She take the normal posed shots with family and friends, but can also add flair to those if you want. Then she mix her photojournalism in with get pictures of dances, speeches, and other main events of the wedding. She made our whole wedding process very easy, always answer promptly to emails. You do receive a flash drive with the original image files. Definitely suggest using Deonna!

Deonna and her team were awesome!! Weeks before the wedding, Deonna made time to have a few consultations about the wedding, the timeline and the must have photos. She was incredibly easy to work with..really flexible, but most of all extremely talented! We love our photos! Deonna provided us with so many options...in color, black and white. She captured the day so well, each time we look through the photos, we re-live the magic of our wedding day. An added bonus--Deonna's turn around time is second to none--upon our return from the honeymoon, she had photos ready for us to review. My husband and I are so happy we hired Deonna Caruso as our photographer to capture our wedding day!! We were married on 6/16/12 and had the pleasure of having Deonna Caruso (and her assistant Ernst) take our pictures throughout the entire wedding day, from the ‘getting ready’ moments in the morning with our wedding party at the hotel all the way until we were dancing into the night at our dinner reception. We are glad we hired Deonna as our photographer because she captured many special and heartfelt moments throughout the day--so much that when we saw our pictures afterwards, they told our wedding day story so perfectly, just as we remembered it! She also took great pictures of both me and my husband along with and our families, friends and guests who attended! Both our formal and informal photos came out looking beautiful. Deonna even captured the decor, flowers, favors and other wedding day details which I asked her to do since we had put so much time into the details of our wedding day to make it special and we wanted to remember those as well. We are so delighted with all of the photographs Deonna took of our wedding day and I’ve gotten many compliments on the photos since getting them back because everyone and everything looks so beautiful and picturesque!

Deonna was always very professional and responsive to emails or questions. She also was open to what we were looking for--I knew with Deonna we weren't going to just get "cookie cutter" wedding photographs. Deonna helped us before the wedding decide on ‘must have’ photos and sent us a list of helpful hints about getting our photos taken on the wedding day, which we could share with everyone in the wedding party.

I would definitely recommend Deonna Caruso Photography to any couple getting married!!! With Deonna, you can trust your entire day will be captured beautifully and that you’ll end up in love with all your wedding day photos.

I can only provide wonderful feedback about Deonna. We had contacted countless photographers via email and personally met with 3 other photographers prior to meeting with Deonna and at the risk of sounding corny, we knew right away she was the right photographer for us. My husband and I had discussed what we wanted in a photographer and she met all those categories. Her photography was clear and crisp; she captured peoples emotions without them knowing; she had a creative edge; she was calm and pleasant; she was excited to meet with us and was genuinely happy for us; she took time to get to know us and made great recommendations; she listened and followed through with what we wanted; she was within our budget range :) In addition, Deonna was punctual with emails/phone calls and was very reliable as the day came closer and most importantly, was everywhere we needed her to be on our wedding day. It is through Deonna's pictures that we can relive every moment of our day and we can't thank her enough for that!

My husband and I feel so fortunate to have had Deonna as our wedding photographer. Deonna was recommended to me by another photographer (which speaks volumes about her) and was absolutely great to work with. I was impressed, from the very beginning, with her professionalism and attentiveness. I didn't send Deonna too many emails but, any time I did, she wrote back almost immediately and I felt like she really cared.

It's easy to see that Deonna loves what she does because she is fun to be around but takes her work very seriously. A few months after we'd booked Deonna as our wedding photographer, I decided that I wanted to do an engagement photo shoot, too. I emailed her about it and she got back to me the same day, very enthused about doing an engagement session. We did our engagement session in the beginning of January... outdoors... in Chicago and Deonna was nothing but cheerful and patient the entire time. What a pleasure and a great experience!

I would recommend Deonna to be any brides wedding photographer. Her work's beautiful, she's extremely detail-oriented, professional and will make any bride (or groom) feel comfortable. She took beautiful photos at our wedding and has created memories for my family and I to keep for a lifetime.

We loved Deonna!!! She was a great Photographer from beginning (engagment photos) to the end (wedding). She was extremely responsive through email and phone, she answered all of our questions. she worked with us to get our engagement photos done quickly since my husband travels alot. She was early for the wedding and took great pics. She had to wrangle 40 people together for our group shots and she didn't miss a beat. Her 2nd photographer Tracy was great too! She made the photos fun! I would highly recommend her!!!

I would highly recommend Deonna as a photographer. Although I have not seen the wedding pictures yet, the photos she took for the engagement session were wonderful. The day of the wedding, Deonna was prompt and courteous. She took all of the pictures that were "must haves" for us. She arranged for a 2nd photographer who also arrived on time and was a pleasure to work with. They both stayed well into the reception time so they were able to capture photos of the entire event. I know that we will be happy with the results. She also included a wedding album in her pricing which I thought was important since a lot of photographers now charge extra for that. She was very accomodating in meeting with us and responding to questions we had during the planning phase. She was flexible with changes we made for the 2nd photographer the day of the wedding as well. I would highly recommend her services for any event or photo session.

Deonna was great to work with. The photos she took of our wedding were absolutely amazing. I love how she was able to capture natural, unposed moments that really embodied the spirit of the day.

Throughout the process, Deonna was extremely professional and friendly. She always responded to emails very promptly and was very helpful at walking us through the process. The day of the wedding, Deonna did a great job finding beautiful ideas for shots and helping keep me and the bridesmaids on schedule as we got ready. At the wedding Deonna was unobtrusive and I barely noticed she was there.

Overall, my husband and I couldn't be happier with Deonna and her work. We are so thrilled to have such beautiful photos from our wedding and would highly recommend Deonna.

Deonna was hands down my favorite person to work with during our wedding (and we had some great people helping us!). Photography was really important to both of us and we were nervous finding a photographer on the internet. My husband and I got married this past June 2010 and couldnt have asked for a better day. We had the most amazing photographer...Thank you Deonna. We were lucky to find Deonna among the sea of wedding photographers out there. Plenty of friends receommended the people they used, but after meeting Deonna (she came to our house which was nice) we could see she was passionate about her business and truly cared about our day. We had her do our engagement pictures in addition to our wedding and LOVED her work!

On our wedding day we had a busy picture schedule and timing was tight, but Deonna did a great job of getting the shots we needed and moving the group along. At the ceremony and reception you wouldn't have even known she was there as she moved through the crowd capturing candid and genuine moments with our guests. Her work is done well and her pictures are gorgeous!

Deonna is worth every penny and will give you the piece of mind to enjoy yourself knowing your pictures are in good hands. We 100% recommend her work and think you'd be crazy to use anyone else for such an important part of your wedding.

I would like to start by saying that I don't think you can finda better photographer out there. I started my search and ended it all in the same night. As soon as I say Deonna's portfolio I fell in love with her style. She has a very clasical intamate look to her photos. Exactally what I was looking for. I worked with her over 9 months and as pervious posters have stated she is very quick to responde and just so sweet. The day of our wedding she arrived at our venue early to take shots of the wedding grounds. . as it was outside. She met me and my girls at our dressing rooma and took photos there. . then proceeded to the men's dressing room. . where i found out later the poor girl was nearly thrown out by all the bashfull men. . anyways. . she took so many awesome photos and somehow never got in the way. MANY of our guests gave me many many compliments on her personality and willingness to try and get everyshot (I have to tell you I had her running all over the place.) Her pricing was very competative and for future referance take her advice and write down a list of the pictures that you would like her to take after teh ceremony. . I will be reccomending her to anybody that needs a photographer in the future :) (her pictures are so stunning that i cannot look at them without tearing up)

Deonna is the perfect person to have photographing all the intimate moments that happen on your wedding day. She felt like part of the family! And, then again, she was never "in the way" but somehow managed to capture everything that happened.

Many of our guests also commented on how nice she was. She was game for anything (people grabbing her saying "hey will you take a picture of this?" and dealt with, literally, rain AND snow at an outdoor ceremony without batting an eyelash) and was a wonderful addition to the event.

She was the first person to arrive that day last one to leave the reception! Now that's commitment! She was amazing and just as nice as can be.

We've already realized that her photos are a gift that are more treasured every time we look at them.

You wouldn't think that you'd find your perfect wedding photographer from a Google search, but that's exactly what happened for us. We got several referrals from friends and wound up interviewing three shooters. Of the three, Deonna was the only one we found on our own by searching online, and she came in with the best blend of great work, value, and personality.

Her work speaks for itself, and we're very happy with the quality of the photos she took on our wedding day. We continue to get comments from friends and family about how great our photos are. Her pricing is also very competitive, representing a great value. On top of that she's a genuinely nice person who's easy to be around. But what I'm most impressed with is her responsiveness and willingness to do whatever it takes to make us happy. When I send her an email, I don't think I've ever waited more than an hour or two for a reply. Most days it seems like she's sitting in front of her computer all day! It's great to be able to count on a quick answer when you need one. Additionally, whatever we threw at her (and continue to throw at her), she makes it work. No suggestion or question is met with anything other than a positive attitude and desire to make us happy. All businesses should be run that way!

I would never hesitate to recommend Deonna. She really was the perfect photographer for our wedding. You should give her a shot, she won't disappoint you!

After months of searching for a photographer in Milwaukee, we didn't find anyone that fit our personality or our budget. Since we live in Chicago, we decided to continue the search in Chicago and that is when we found Deonna. From the start, she was all about service and had no issue with traveling to Milwaukee (which proved to be true as we had a blizzard the day of our wedding!). We fell in love with Deonna's photojournalistic style and her services were exactly what we had been looking for - all day coverage, flush mount albumn and a second photographer so we were able to capture all of those separate bride/groom getting ready shots plus different angles on all of the festivities for the night. Her creativity, responsiveness, professionalism, personality and flexibility is something every couple deserves for their wedding day - she captured the moments that we will cherish for a lifetime. Deonna is a pleasure to work with. I hired her to do both my "weddings." My first wedding was a very small intimate affair and it was done at the last minute. Deonna was the only one that responded to my request and was available. My second wedding was a hugh party at U.S. Cellular Field. The pictures were beautiful from both ceromonies. I would highly recommend Deonna!! I know when my husband and I start a family, I will only use Deonna to take my children's pictures!!

Deonna Caruso took the best pictures and captured all the great moments of my evening! I can always look back and remember what a great night that was because of the photography. Deonna also edited the pictures in such a way where it captured the look and feel of my wedding while having the traditional shots every wedding needs! I would highly reccommend her to any bride. Deonna took our photos for our June wedding, and she and her second shooter did an excellent job. The photos are very timeless and classic, which is exactly what I wanted. She was always very responsive and helpful, also. I appreciate that she doesn't use any odd special effects, which is something I avoided in my photographer search. If you want any especially creative, out-of-the-box poses or photos, just be sure to ask and she will definitely be accommodating. Another thing is that Deonna was very patient in including our dog in photos, which I know had to be difficult since he was distracted by all the people around, but they turned out wonderful and the ones with him in it are totally priceless! I would definitely recommend Deonna and her beautiful work!

My friend used Deonna a couple of years ago and I loved her pictures. So when I got married I knew I wanted to use Deonna as well. She was very easy to work with, she responded to my emails right away, and of course the pictures turned out beautifully. The pictures were very artistic and looked like they could be in a bridal magazine. The traditional pictures turned out great, too! We got our pictures in the time frame Deonna had originally told us, which was really important to us. Also, she showed up on time for pictures in the morning and was waiting for us at all the locations we traveled to. Her second photographer was just as professional. She listened to different requests I had for pictures and shot all the ones I asked for. I also like her blog because she posts a preview of wedding pictures before all the other ones are ready. One of the most important reasons why I went with Deonna is because we get the rights to all our pictures. I have already recommended Deonna to other friends who are getting married and I would continue to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great photographer.

We used Deonna for our engagement photos and wedding photography. Deonna was very responsive and timely to answer emails. She answered all and any questions you may have in a timely fashion. The day of the wedding, she had a second photographer which was great because then she could be with the bride all day. :) She took all of the pictures we had asked for the wedding. Photos were edited and we were given a CD of all the photos very quickly! I think it only took 4 weeks to get all of our wedding photos back! Overall, Deonna was easy to work with and takes great photos to capture the big day!
