Amazing Planning from A Day Like No Other

Its not an understatement to say that we would not have had such an amazing and worry-free wedding without Jutta. Like many others, at the beginning of my wife and I were at a crossroads of having too many things we wanted to do and too many accomodations to make, without much direction to a production like a wedding together.

We knew that going with Jutta was a great idea from our first conversations. During our consultation, we told Jutta of, we had chosen our venues and wedding date prior to working with her, and she quickly responded had questions and strategies that we would probably had not even thought of at any point in the wedding planning (like shuttle services between our two venues). We also gave her our budget, and she was realistic about what out choices would be, but also able to provide suggestions. After we formally started working with Jutta, she had no problem providing great vendor suggestions for all the ideas we wanted to incorporate (coffee, japanese culture, etc.) in the wedding within the budget we gave her and seemed to seemlessly plug in to her planning the vendors and venues we had already gathered. All this made us very confident that we had put the planning in the right hands as we were planning our wedding in San Francisco while living in Los Angeles. Additionally, Jutta was always quick to keep the items on our to-do list manageable while keeping the email traffic and stress minimal while still informational. Our meetings with Jutta were always great as well and there was so much coordination and with the vendors that she gave us updates on, which helped us with confidence in how things during the wedding would go. Even when there were hiccups that we ran into during the planning, these were quickly handled by Jutta or the vendors she recommended.

The day before and the day of went by what seemed so effortlessly and everyone in attendance, including my wife and I, had an unforgettably wonderful time. It was quite difficult to believe how smoothly the day went due to all the work that Jutta and her team, and how great all of the wonderful vendors we got from her. If we were to do this all over again, there would be no question we would choose Jutta to plan our wedding

It was A "Beautiful" Day to Remember

Jutta Lammerts, owner and wedding planner extraordinaire.I am the mother of the bride and I say, She is very resourceful and helped the whole wedding party and especially the women connected to the wedding party and officiant too. Her connections with all the vendors was so essential to the success of this heartfelt and fun wedding. The wedding count have gone as well and beautifully as it did without her.

Jutta was amazing!

Jutta has worked with us tirelessly since 2019 (through two COVID postponements) to make our dream wedding at Nestldown a reality. From the very beginning, we wanted a detail-oriented planner that would help keep us on track and Jutta did that and much more. She provided the majority of the referrals for vendors we ended up working with for our wedding day and helped us think through both logistical and design aspects of our wedding that we would have never considered without her guidance. Throughout the planning process, Jutta would check in with us to ensure our planning was on track and we constantly referred to her extremely detailed wedding timeline to help inform our decisions.

On our actual wedding day, we were able to completely let go of any logistical worries and enjoy ourselves. If anything went wrong the day of, we certainly never heard about it and we’re confident that Jutta and her team handled our day expertly. We can’t recommend working with Jutta and her team enough!

Jutta is a fairy god mother!

I can’t speak highly enough of Jutta and her extensive knowledge of wedding coordinating and planning. I was told by many on the day of my wedding that I was the “calmest bride ever” and I attribute so much of that to knowing Jutta was in charge of the day. I did her partial coordination/planning package for our wedding in October 2021. Jutta was very knowledgeable and accessible during the 6-9 months before the wedding and she was extremely helpful in recommending vendors. We ended up choosing the majority of the vendors she recommended (all of whom were fabulous, professional, and a good price). In the 3 months leading up to the wedding we really hit the ground running and she was on top of it sending me detailed timelines and going over each of my vendor contracts thoroughly to make sure that all of the logistics would work out. The day of the wedding, we had a lot of variables that were in the air because of weather changes (it was raining and originally parts of the reception were supposed to be outside). Her and her assistant, Stephanie, were able to make changes on the fly without me hardly ever having to worry about it. The day was truly seamless and my now husband and I just got to enjoy the day. On top of being excellent at what she does, we adored her as a person. She means serious business (which you want in someone leading the charge!) but she is also incredibly kind, caring, and thoughtful. You can tell she does this work because she truly loves it and cares for the couples that she works with. Thank you Jutta for a magical day!

Jutta/A Day Like No Other was our ROCK

Jutta was my ROCK...the rock to the entire wedding celebration preparations and smooth execution! I could not have planned and executed our wedding celebration without Jutta's organized, thoughtful, and honest support! Due to COVID-19, we had to delay our wedding celebrations and hold an event after we got married during the pandemic. Jutta supported us for two years! She and her team not only made the planning easier, but the day was SO SMOOTH! She truly believes in giving brides (and couples) the best wedding day possible and she delivers! My husband and I are forever grateful for her and her team's support! I cannot thank Jutta and her team enough.

I am a Type A person and need things in my control. But I was so confident and comfortable with Jutta taking charge that day because we went over everything we wanted and she delivered. We also had so many last minute changes and all Jutta would say is "No problem" or "Whatever the bride and groom wants, they get" (within reason of course :P).

A Day Like No Other is worth every penny if not more! You will NOT REGRET working with Jutta and her team!!

Jutta was amazing

My wife and I hired Jutta to be our full service wedding planner and we’re so happy that we did! Jutta expertly guided us through the entire wedding planning process from venue and vendor selection, to wedding design and decor, and day of logistics and coordination. She was great at both the high level picture as well as making sure we got the small details right to make our day perfect. Her expertise and network saved us a ton of time during the planning process and she ensured that we stayed on track with all planning timelines. Perhaps most importantly, it was on the day of the wedding that her years of experience truly shined. She and her amazing assistants ensured all our vendors were in the right place at the right time. Absolutely fantastic!

We had a fantastic experience with Jutta and her team at A Day Like No Other! From day one Jutta was responsive, sharp, professional, and ready to take on the event. I could tell she was so organized and could take charge of everything (the beast that wedding planning is!), which was exactly what we needed, and Jutta delivered exactly that!

It was scheduled to rain on our day the weeks leading up to it (and our Plan A was primarily outdoors), and Jutta made sure to prep us for Plan B (layout of the party, and details like providing umbrellas to guests) - and I'm so glad she did because it did indeed rain! Despite the weather, the wedding was still perfect and beautiful, and seamlessly run. It was truly a day like no other. :)

Jutta is experienced, professional, great to work with, and organized - you will be in terrific hands if you hire her!

Wedding at Thomas Fogarty

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Jutta as our full-time wedding planner and she's definitely the major reason our wedding ceremony came to life!

We're a busy couple living in the Bay Area - Jutta took us through the whole business of planning the wedding and made it feel like a breathe. From the moment we contacted her ~8 months before the date (we only had a venue secured) through the day after the wedding, she was truly a lifesaver. Her organization skills, communication and responsiveness are truly outstanding. She'd send us reminders in case something required our attention and whatever question or request we had - would always respond within minutes even to late-night emails.

Jutta took on majority of coordination with vendors - from advising on picking the vendors, to handling all of coordination details and making sure the week of and the day of runs super smoothly. I really like the French country style and Jutta went to incredible lengths to arrange the table decor to be just perfect! She also helped to guide and suggest possible ideas in the areas of the planning we were unsure of. Jutta took care of every single details - from finding a vintage typewriter and bike for decor to hand-crafting the signs herself.

On the day of, Jutta and her amazing assistants made sure that the entire day proceeded smoothly according to pre-planned (5mins intervals!) timeline. We could fully enjoy the moment knowing that Jutta takes care of all details. She stayed all the way through the night and made sure that gifts, flowers and other details will be taken care of.

Besides outstanding professionalism, Jutta is wonderfully calm and caring person with a keen sense of humor. If you want your wedding day to be truly outstanding - you can't go wrong with A Day Like No Other. Thank you, Jutta!

She is super professional, communicates quickly, answered all our questions, had great ideas from her years of experience and was graceful and easy to work with from the bride's perspective and from the mother's perspective. I enjoyed and learned from each of our meetings. All the plans moved forward on time and her detailed timelines helped us all to relax and know we were in good hands. Day of Jutta was the on top of everything and yes, she really was the last to leave. She interfaced with all the other vendors so magically that they all want to work with her again. We contacted Jutta Lammerts of A Day Like No Other just 8 weeks before our wedding and she came through with flying colors!! We had an amazing day! Jutta took the time to find out about our "style" and was keen to understand what would make a perfect day for our wedding celebration. And then she went to work! Wow! In short order we had a list of vendors with notes and recommendations on each, we received a preliminary timeline, advice on a variety of issues and the comfort of knowing Jutta was totally on it! Her follow through is impeccable - something that was super important to us as we were both traveling and busy with other projects. She patiently and often reminded us of decisions and deadlines and kept us all on track. The preliminary timeline was updated during the planning process and we had a very detailed plan prior to the day of our wedding - no last minute surprises. Several of our vendors commented that Jutta is one of the best event planners that they work with!
We threw Jutta a few curve balls, some creating last minute adjustments, but she truly hit a home run for us. We are so grateful that we hired Jutta and we are delighted to highly recommend A Day Like No Other.

My husband and I had a really positive experience working with Jutta and her assistants Angeliki and Mary-Kate to help plan, coordinate, and execute our wedding in San Francisco. We selected Jutta's "month of" coordination service, but she began to help us immediately. We really appreciated her responsiveness to emails, her attention to detail, her thoroughness, and her intelligence. Jutta provided really helpful referrals to other vendors, which made many other wedding decisions easier. In the weeks before our wedding, it was wonderful to know that Jutta was communicating with all our vendors, and coordinating the timeline for the day. Our entire wedding was executed perfectly. Angeliki ran our rehearsal the night before, and she was a really pleasant, organized, and friendly person to work with. Angeliki did a wonderful job the day of the wedding, and there's not one thing about the day that we would change. Finally, Jutta's assistant Mary-Kate served as our dog Suki's caregiver during the wedding, and she did a wonderful job. I really loved watching Mary-Kate feed Suki tiny pieces of chicken jerky during the ceremony; it worked perfectly to keep Suki quiet. We would very highly recommend Jutta to anybody planning a wedding!

We give Jutta our highest recommendation! She was fantastic--more than words can say! She was truly a lifesaver in so many ways, and I don't think we would have survived the wedding planning process without her!

Jutta's communication, organization and responsiveness are outstanding. She would send friendly reminders if certain tasks needed attention and always responded to our questions in a timely manner. She coordinated with and between vendors skillfully and was so on top of everything, consistently. She had fantastic design ideas and was a great sounding board as we were considering various options. Keeping our budget in mind, she would recommend vendors that fit our price point. It was evident that she is very well connected within the wedding planning community and clearly very respected. Almost all of the vendors we interviewed (even those that we learned about on our own) had heard of her and spoke very highly of her.

On the actual day of, Jutta and her two assistants were stellar. They visited with bride, groom, church and reception sites and helped everyone stay on track. Jutta helped keep us on schedule during the reception, which was very helpful since we had a lot of activities planned. We appreciated how available she was throughout the night; she always kindly reminded us of what was next on the schedule so that we could be prepared. She stayed through the end of the reception and beyond, ensuring that everything was taken care of with gifts, vendors and that everyone's questions were answered.

Besides being an incredibly capable wedding planner, Jutta is a lovely human being who is hugely generous and deeply caring. Jutta, we can't thank you enough for everything you did to make our wedding day a dream come true! We miss you already and can't wait to be in touch!

Jutta is a dynamo and true professional. You can be confident that not only will she get the job done, it will be done well. Jutta generously agreed to take over the planning process for my wedding a few months before the date. No small feat; however, Jutta's years of experience allowed her to do so seamlessly. She is an expert planner with attention to detail that might otherwise be overlooked. She is calm under pressure and executes tasks with a smile and lightening quick speed. From beginning to end Jutta at Day Like No other was there to guide me to the "right" vendors, calm my nerves, and there enjoy great moments of happiness. I contracted Jutta for day of coordination but Jutta made her self available to me every step of the way. We spoke often and also used a great online planner. I had lots of fun inputting guests, pictures and Jutta was always updating the site as I sent in vendor contracts and other bits of wedding info.
With the Big Day's date coming up fast- I thought I'd be a raging mess but truly I wasn't. Jutta had everything under control-Timelines, vendors, drop offs, deliveries the list goes on & on. Everything was being taken care!! Having the peace of mind to spend stress free time with family & friends.
Day of the Wedding I met with Jutta and her assistant as I was leaving the hotel heading to venue. Jutta smiled and with her strong calming energy- told me I was beautiful, the venue looked great & she had everything under control. I believed her and her words were needed and gave me much comfort.
The Ceremony & Reception were so beautifully magic, I'm still on a high.

I do corporate events for a living. Events are stressful and even more stressful when you’re planning your own wedding. I couldn’t do it alone, I soon realized. My fiance (now husband, yay) was a great think partner but c’mon, we all know us ladies are the ones who mostly get things done. I needed someone to sanity check my thinking and take over the day of so I wasn’t worried about the little details that go into executing an event day of. I found Jutta after thorough research and I’m so happy I did. During our first conversation, we went through every detail of my half baked plans and she asked thoughtful questions. It was clear she had experience with weddings. All her questions and suggested vendors helped me further bake out the plans. About 3 weeks before, we had another lengthy conversation about how things would go and she created a detailed timeline & sent a questionnaire to help her prepare the flow of the ceremony. She confirmed my vendors and nailed down the timeline. From that point on, I completely let go (I’m kind of a control freak). She was amazing and helped me completely relax so that I could be completely present during one of the most important days of our lives. Jutta is a complete professional who supports whatever makes you happy. My wedding was unusual and she just took everything in and rolled with it. Thank you, Jutta for being my savior! You literally were my angel.

Jutta was great! she was so patient and so professional....I changed our design and small little things about the wedding so many times and she was always there for me to make it work...She was also the greatest planner I could have asked for on the day of the wedding, she was on top of everything, from getting me a dog sitter to handle my dog at the ceremony and then take him home at the reception to having a lunch ready for us before starting our big day, and she saved my dress (a long story !) ....all in all everything went smooth as exactly as I had in mind...I definitely recommend her to everyone...thanks Jutta for making our day the best day ever!

My husband and I hired Jutta as our "month of" wedding coordinator. This title is a bit of an understatement, as Jutta helped us start to get organized from our very first interaction.

I can't recommend Jutta highly enough! Right at the beginning of our interactions she put together a detailed list of everything we had planned and everything we had yet to plan, and then kept us on track, sending us friendly reminders to get various things done.

As the wedding day came closer, Jutta took over contact with our various vendors and put together all of the various moving pieces for us. This was a HUGE help, as we had hired all kinds of different people and having somebody responsible for telling them what to do was perfect.

Jutta ran our rehearsal and looking back on it, we would have had no idea what to do without her there directing us. My mother, my husband, and his parents were all able to go into the wedding day totally stress free, confident in the fact that Jutta had everything organized and under control.

It may seem a bit unbelievable, but I wasn't even a tiny bit stressed during the entirety of my wedding day. I didn't worry at all about what time it was or if I was supposed to be doing something; Jutta or her assistant was at my side directing us when we needed to do something and keeping us on track.

I'm sure there were some things that went wrong throughout the day, but I didn't know about any of it since Jutta handled everything. She is a true professional and I am SO glad that we hired her.

Our wedding was super memorable thanks to Jutta and A Day Like No Other. As an intercultural couple, we wanted a wedding that reflects our individual backgrounds while having the style of a California summer outdoor wedding - not an easy thing to achieve. What made it extra challenging was that we had only gotten engaged just 7 months prior to the wedding date. Without Jutta's help we couldn't have been able to pull it off, let alone a truly fantastic wedding that our friends and family continue to gush about!

Given the shortened timelines, her suggestions on the right vendors were highly valuable. They were all super high quality but she also kept our budget in mind, letting us know where we can achieve the proper tradeoffs to get what's most important to us while keeping budget inline. Her deep knowledge about weddings ensured that any running around to find the right vendors was kept to a minimum.

However, the most difficult thing was to put all the pieces together - how do we include all the cultural bits, from visually putting the decors together to fitting them into a strict timeline without clashing and overwhelming the whole wedding. Her meticulous work of mapping out all the details and her ability to identify how things should go together made the whole process very straightforward. And she was super patient when we moved bits and pieces around to accommodate different requests. After we had finalized the plans, she also communicated with all the vendors to ensure that everyone is on top of things.

On the wedding day itself, Jutta's assistant, Kelsey, was super attentive and cheerful. We were constantly reminded that we should enjoy the special day and not to worry about the details. Indeed, we didn't! We simply experienced the fairy tale wedding. Literally everything went as discussed without a hitch.

Without Jutta's attentiveness and expertise and Kelsey's support, our wedding wouldn't have gone nearly as well as we had hoped.

Jutta of “A Day Like No Other” was my wedding planner. I wanted to have my wedding in San Francisco for around 200 guests, and it was hard to find a good venue. Jutta had a large list of venues and vendors, so she helped me a lot as I was searching for the perfect venue. I decided on the Julia Morgan Ballroom, which she had done a few weddings at already. She was very organized in every aspect, which was great because I am a very organized person as well. She made lists of everything. Her timeline for the day of was on point. She was very responsive through email, text, and phone call. I was planning the wedding from out-of-state, so most of our communication was done in email, which worked out fine. She contacted all vendors and made sure everyone had the most up-to-date information for the wedding day. She also worked on this huge project for me of putting all the wedding favors (which also served as name cards) together! She calligraphed all of the her hand-designed cards that attached on the back of the wedding favor of wine stoppers and stuck a little gem on each of them according to the guests’ meal preference! Such amazing work!
On the wedding day, everything flowed perfectly and on time! I highly recommend her as a wedding planner because she really worked hard to make everything stress-free for me. She had great ideas and also improved on my ideas for the little details as well (since I’m also very detail-oriented). I was really happy with how the wedding turned out, and I couldn’t have had such a perfect wedding without her!!!

Keep calm and let Jutta handle it! Jutta was invaluable to us from day dot. Trying to plan a California wedding from Australia has so many challenges (just in timezone differences alone), but Jutta helped to guide us all along the way to make our day seamless. She has fostered such great relationships with California vendors and was able to suggest the perfect fit for all of our needs. What's more, not only does she offer fantastic suggestions, she actually listens and is able to translate your vision to a beautiful outcome.

To anyone getting married, just know things that are out of your control do and will happen around your wedding (it's the sign of a good marriage;). Knowing that, you want someone like Jutta to help put out the fires. I sliced off a portion of my thumb and ended up in the ER the night before we flew out to California. Jutta worked with our photographer to ensure it didn't show up too much in the photos and she even came prepared with few different styles of gloves in case I wanted to take extra "hiding" precaution.

My now husband is a total control freak, and even HE was put at ease and trusted Jutta to execute the day-- which she did perfectly! We can't recommend her enough!!

Jutta is amazing. She is the best wedding planner I could have asked for and did an amazing job at our wedding in Carmel on 8/29/15! She is very well connected, and knew our venue, our DJ, and even helped us find a great florist, chalkboard artist, and hair/makeup people!

She handled day-of-wedding bride meltdowns with humor and practicality and kept the whole wedding going on time as scheduled.

She helped us ensure that no small details were forgotten (easel for the chalkboard) and even did lots of grunt work (carrying vases from the bridal suite to the venue, distributing kid's favors).

Honestly, we can't say enough good things about Jutta and anyone who is looking for a planner should book her NOW.

We hired Jutta for the Wedding Month Coordination. Jutta was very professional and is a good resource. She gave us a really good referral to a guitarist for our ceremony. Communication was always prompt. She is organized, efficient and detail- oriented. She made sure our wedding schedule was running on time. She also helped me arrange our beautiful centerpieces! We had such as good time at our wedding because I know I can rely on Jutta to take care of everything for me for the day!

Jutta from A Day Like No Other did an incredible job planning our wedding. I requested Jutta's assistance after finding many of my vendors but her vendor connections and recommendations were spot on for the remaining ones I was looking for. She also was very helpful with bringing to life my vision for the wedding - elegant, timeless, and sophisticated while staying on budget. She is extremely professional, promptly responds to all emails, and has a wealth of experience in the industry. She was willing to let me be as involved as I wanted and I am one of those people who wanted to have a hand in everything and she was totally ok with that. Her services started the day I signed the contract and her price was better than most others I looked into.

We had planned on doing our wedding in August, but one of my family members' health took a turn for the worst, so we decided to move up our wedding to last week so that the family member could enjoy our wedding in good health. When I first emailed Jutta explaining the situation, I expected at most that she would be able to arrange a small court ceremony for us and a nice dinner in a restaurant. What she gave us instead was beyond my wildest expectations. She not only arranged for us to have a real wedding closer to what we had planned, but within 48 hours she had arranged the hotel and venue, hair and makeup, video-grapher with live streaming, photographer, DJ and florist. She even arranged for the macaron favors we had wanted to use in August. She really made sure that the wedding felt like a proper party and not like the rushed thrown together thing we had expected. Her readiness to leap in and help us was incredibly overwhelming, and thanks to her and her team our guests had a wonderful time. People kept coming up to us and saying they could not believe the wedding had been put together in six days, and they never would have guessed this was not what we had originally planned. All the vendors she used were ones that we had selected from her vendor list, and they were all incredibly professional and helpful. Jutta is an incredibly professional planner, and we are so grateful and amazed at what she was able to pull off on such short notice. She cares very deeply about providing the best service and best results for her clients, and will always be there making sure you are staying on top of any tasks or deadlines. Believe me with less than a week to plan it got a little overwhelming at times, but Jutta always kept her cool and helped me keep my bearings. I really wish she could have been there to see it, but her assistant Kelsey was warm, charming, and professional beyond her years. We were truly lucky. Thank you so much Jutta and Kelsey!

Jutta was a fantastic resource for us! Personally, I was on the fence about whether we needed a day-of coordinator, a wedding planner, or if we could just do it ourselves. We opted for Jutta's day-of services, and I am really glad that we did! She was very professional and very creative -- she gave us great ideas for different vendors, favors, DIY projects that we could try...all of her ideas made our wedding very special! My wife and I had a mermaid-pirate wedding on the Balclutha at Hyde Street Pier in San Francisco, with a reception at the San Francisco Maritime Museum, so it was a very complicated wedding with a jam-packed schedule. Jutta made everything flow very smoothly. She ran a very effective rehearsal, and on the big day, everyone was prepared. She and her assistant Angelika corralled everyone she needed to and just generally took our mind off running our wedding, which was exactly what we wanted. It was critical to have one person set the timeline of our wedding and then coordinate all of the vendors to stick with it, and Jutta filled that role beautifully.

I would urge all of you to give Jutta a chance, because she is a very effective planner and very responsive. We were very inexperienced in the field of weddings, as this is our first and last one, so her experience and advice was very much appreciated. If I could redo the whole thing, I probably would have gone for partial planning so that we could have utilized her skills more, but as it was, she gave us so much value for what she provided. I highly recommend her services.

Jutta was a real life-saver and I would say to anyone getting married that a good wedding planner is the best money you'll ever spend. Jutta was incredibly organized and very responsive. She's a real pro and had a list of vendors at her finger tips. We created a pinterest board to visual communicate what we wanted our wedding to look and feel like and Jutta totally understood what we wanted and connected us to her vendors that could execute our vision. She's really prompt at email and very good at following up. We both travel quite a bit for work and so we tended to be late in getting back to her but she was great at the reminders and never once got annoyed with us! She organized a site visit 3 weeks before the event (and our site was pretty remote) - the rental company, Jutta and her assistant were all there. Jutta is a complete professional and thinks of things that you will never think of - we were so thankful for her. And her assistant Angeliki is an angel!! We actually had Angeliki as our day-of coordinator and she was amazing. So well organized, sweet, accommodating, and efficient. She made sure the whole day ran smoothly and never once broke a sweat. This is a super star team and I highly recommend them.

I work in event planning so of course I wanted my wedding to be the best event I had ever planned (or attended). Since I know how hectic the day-of an event generally is behind-the-scenes I wanted to hire a coordinator to take on the day-of details so that I could (hopefully) enjoy the day.

We found A Day Like No Other just 8 weeks before our wedding and were immediately impressed by the great reviews--it was meeting Jutta in person however that sealed the deal. We got married in a Bay Area hotel and were unfortunately having trouble with the venue's event team so we chose to meet at the hotel in order to walk Jutta through all our plans for the day. Towards the end of our meeting we went to ask the front desk to let us see the ballroom reception space (as we had previously done with several other vendors) but this time they told us the ballroom was currently "under construction" and therefore was not available to be seen. We had not been told the ballroom was going to be refurbished before our wedding so needless to say I went into a bit of a state of shock. I tried to explain to the staff that we were getting married there in less than 2 months but Jutta jumped in when she saw me struggling and demanded we be let in to see the ballroom's state of construction. Her no-nonsense demeanor got results and we were immediately brought to see the space. Luckily the room was nearly finished and we generally liked the new paint color, carpet, drapes and light fixtures. It was definitely a scary few minutes though. After that incident we knew Jutta was the right person for us. She is strong and determined and we knew she was someone we wanted on our team.

There are always (at the very least) small issues to be dealt with on the day of an event but the goal of any event planner is to not let your guests see those hiccups. Jutta and her assistant did a great job keeping our wedding guests happy and blissfully ignorant of our few behind-the-scene hiccups. Many thanks!

Jutta was everything you could ask for as a day of coordinator and more. She is very professional and organized. She knows all the questions to ask to make sure your wedding day will go smoothly. I am so glad she was recommended to me and I would highly recommend her to any bride.

We had a few phone conversations and met in person a few days prior to my wedding. She had created a binder with all of the info from all my vendors and a timeline which she provided to them. This is such a timesaver for a bride and it makes sure everyone is on the same page, really important when you are coordinating with so many people.

Everyone that came into contact with Jutta the day of my wedding had nothing but great things to say about her and we cannot thank her enough. If you are looking for a day of coorfinator/wedding planner Jutta will not dissapoint.

Jutta was instrumental in making our wedding one of the best day's of our lives! She's got an amazing eye for detail - and is meticulously organized and follows through on every nitty gritty (and important) part of the plan. Jutta was calm and reassuring, and was also the most organized person at my wedding. Even when a major problem occurred with another vendor (our DJ cancelled on us at the last minute, forcing us to work with a brand new DJ on the wedding day), Jutta took control and made sure the right music played at the right time and even made announcements herself when the new DJ wasn't able to keep up. She also brought extras with her that we'd forgotten, such as a sign for our picture that we wanted everyone to autograph. She was a step ahead of us the whole way. I would definitely use her services again and recommend them to others.

For something as special as your daughter's wedding you want to have a magical and joyful celebration - with NO stress right. A day you will treasure and enjoy over and over and over again.

Well we just experienced the BEST EVER wedding. I am still floating on cloud nine! My emotions are still over flowing. This blessed event is etched in my heart forever; a dream come true for all of us.

My daughter wanted a Gatsby/moon and star theme and it was simply stunning.

Hello! I had the great pleasure of creating the flowers for the wedding of my very dear friends. Jutta was a pleasure to work with helping to make this one of the most wonderful weddings I have ever attended as well as participated in! I was a little nervous because, while I have made the flowers for many family and friends weddings (Including my own!) I am not a professional florist, and in past weddings the coordinator did not really relax until they saw my work. :-) Jutta coordinated everything beautifully down to the very last detail. I used to think that wedding coordinators were just doing a job, like a foreman or project manager, but that their heart was not really involved. Maybe some are, but not Jutta. There was real love in everything she did and it reflected in every aspect of this truly special wedding.

Where to start?!? The whole Day Like No Other staff are extremely friendly yet, forward enough to deal with the high stress of planning a wedding. It was the most important day of our lives and they made sure to make us feel such. Furthermore, they shield us from the stress and anxiety of dealing with vendors, decor, etc. The planning was a breeze! They were very organized, kept detailed journals and to-do lists with deadlines, allowing us to work as a team to plan our event. They were so knowledgeble about every detail, and even brought to light things we didn't even think of.

Lastly, they are extreatmly connected within the community. They have a Rolodex of the top vendors in the industry. It doesn't matter if your budget is small or huge, they will search within their network to meet your needs. But if they don't have the connection, Jutta and team will do the endless research to approve a vendor to make sure they meet your standards.

Jutta and her staff come highly recommended. We searched for months for the right venue and event planning company and would be as bold as to say, Day Liks No Other is the best event planning agency in the Bay Area.

Jutta was exactly what we needed for our wedding! From the minute we met with her for a consultation (and she spent 2+ hours with us before we even had a contract!) to the amazing blog she posted of our wedding after it was all over, it was just a wonderful experience. Jutta consistently asked questions or brought up things we hadn't thought about which made our planning better and more complete.

She contacted all of our vendors to ensure everything was set, coordinated the times for all of them, and was the go-to person on the wedding day so neither I nor the groom had to be.

She also ran the most impressive rehearsal I've ever been to! Everything was thought out and considered before our wedding party arrived. Since we were using a family friend as an officiant and were outdoors, we really needed someone with a vision and experience to execute the process of the ceremony.

Really, Jutta is just great. She's like a better-organized, less-invested version of your mom helping you plan the wedding. Book her, you won't regret it.

Hiring Jutta as my wedding coordinator was truly one of the best decisions I ever made! Having her on board allowed me to really enjoy the weeks leading up to my wedding. And on the day of the wedding, I was able to relax and truly savor the day, knowing Jutta had everything under control and running smoothly.
I started working with Jutta about 2 weeks before the wedding, and she was always professional and responsive! No matter what my concern was no detail was too big or too small. Just tell her what you want or what is stressing you out, and she will fix it! Everytime I called or emailed with a question, she replied immediately. From lining up the bridal party, to making sure the harpist is set up, to making sure the placecards did not blow away, Jutta thought of everything and took care of it all. Hiring a coordinator might seem like a big added expense, but it is totally worth it! I don't know what we would have done without her.
An added bonus was that she wrote about our story on her blog and took beautiful photos that we loved looking at and sharing with our friends.

Jutta was such a pleasure to work with ~ professional, enthusiastic, and energetic. As a floral designer, I seldom get to see the wedding day unfold, but I had the unique opportunity to both provide the flowers and attend my friend Tina's lovely beach side wedding.

Jutta organized all the various elements to make Tina and Eric's wedding both beautiful and seamless. The details on the guest tables were lovely, right down to the ombre progression of blue, turquoise and purple napkins along the length of the king's table ~ a perfect way to accentuate an ocean-themed wedding. And Jutta always had a smile on her face ~ no easy task on when you're the one coordinating everything!

Jutta was great. She worked great with Cassie & I... but mostly Cassie : ). She knew very well how to orchestrate and bring together all the moving parts. If there was something that needed to get done, we could be sure that Jutta would get results. At the same time, there can often be difficult & sensitive parts in a production as big as a wedding and Jutta seemed to be instinctively diplomatic when needed. There were zero feathers rubbed the wrong way and everything went off perfectly. If you want your wedding to run smoothly and feel great about it, call Jutta.

Jutta was amazing. As an officiant I really appreciate her organizational talent, professional demeanor, ability to see the big picture, and warm consideration of all the facets of the day for the bride and groom. She has an ability to make everyone feel welcome and to keep things running on time. If there's an area that needs special focus, as is almost inevitable with a wedding, Jutta is on it with diligence and grace.

Jutta did a fantastic job on my daughters wedding. I couldn't be more pleased. She was incredibly detail oriented, asked excellent questions, anticipated needs, suggested solutions and and formatted an excellent flow of events and kept everything moving. Most importantly, she accomplished all of this while remaining calm and focused. On the day of the wedding, she presented a calm demeanor while organizing and executing every detail. Attendees commented repeatedly that everyone had a wonderful time, the wedding was so much fun and it flowed so smoothly. This was certainly due in part to all of Jutta's excellent planning and assistance. I highly recommend her services. And, her personality and willingness to help made her a joy to work with. She is a really nice person too!

Weddings are a funny thing- you only do it once, so it's hard to be prepared when you don't know exactly what to expect. Everyone says it's the best and yet most stressful day of your life, and now that we're on the other side, we concur. That said, we're incredibly thankful we hired a wedding planner, and even more that it was Jutta. She is one elegant, friendly, unflappable, responsible, on-point woman.
The only thing I would say we should have done differently is hire her for more than just the one day.
What we noticed about her was that she was very organized, experienced, and calm, the trifecta of wedding planning. We were a hard group to wrangle and organize and keep on target; mostly everyone getting together was from out of the country (I'm Canadian, my wife French) and seeing old friends and family had everyone excited and nervous about the big day. Jutta really held us together with poise; we changed a lot of things at the last minute (processional order, where we would walk from, speeches with what dinner course, when and where we would toss the bouquet, etc.) and we were really impressed by how she went with it all, even despite the fact that we had gone over and over the order of events before hand, etc. It really was a much bigger event than we anticipated (from a details point of view), and she held it together. Professional, warm, amicable, and yet kept it on track. It was a real pleasure to work with Jutta, and we highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to have a low stress wedding.

I had the pleasure of working with Jutta on Valerie and Andrew's wedding last Sunday. Prior to the wedding, Jutta sent out a detailed list of events, describing what to expect from the day, contact and location info, etc.This really helped me as the makeup artist/hair stylist navigate my appointments, and ensure enough time on each person. At the wedding site, Jutta was there making sure everything was running smoothly, and offering to help out if needed. Jutta is a wonderful, extremely efficient, and very professional wedding planner. I put a lot of effort into every detail of our wedding which I enjoyed, but on the day I just wanted to relax and not worry about anything, especially things happening on time, Jutta took care of everything!

She was invariably quick to respond to each and every email and question I sent her way and made it seem like my wedding was the only thing happening in her world. Most of all she helped me create a wedding that reflected "us" which was very important to my husband and I.

My now-wife had met Jutta through the place we had our wedding at, the Forest Hills Clubhouse. At first, I really did not want a wedding planner as I was hoping for a very simple, romantic, bare-bones wedding. But after meeting Jutta and letting her know our desires for our wedding, it became a great match. Jutta really listened to what we were looking for and made a lot of suggestions.....but all the suggestions were in the scope of what we were wanting out of our wedding. I won't lie and say we took all the suggestions....but we did take a fair amount and they definitely made the day that much more special.

Also, Jutta was amazing with her timelines of the day and what needed to be done by what date. She recommended many providers of which we got better deals than what I was getting just searching on my own. It really was a day like no other.

Jutta was an amazing support for my wedding! I met her when visiting the Forest Hill Clubhouse, the eventual site of our wedding. After a few more visits and after posing more and more questions, she offered her services. While I was overwhelmed with details and organization at first, Jutta guided me through and helped me to take more of a creative approach. Our initial, bare minimum, idea for the decor turned into simple, easy and beautiful additions that enhanced the ceremony and party without ever diminishing what was most important to us: celebrating our union with friends and family. Jutta was great at organizing the rehearsal, wedding day, and reception and reminding me of details that I had forgotten. Jutta, the founder of A Day Like No Other, designed and coordinated my wedding in Carmel Valley, California, last summer. It was a three-day destination wedding including our dog – and guests from three continents! The whole celebration was held in three different venues, so the logistics were quite complicated. Jutta created every aspect of the design from the earliest “idea” stage to flawless execution, including custom invitations, choice of venue, choice of wedding gown, floral and cake design, ceremony and reception music, bridesmaids’ and groomsmen’s gifts, and even designed and created personalized wedding favors! She organized every aspect of the celebration, including the Rehearsal Dinner, transportation, guest accommodations, and Honeymoon booking. No detail was too tiny… Jutta worked tirelessly, and the result was a breathtakingly elegant wedding celebration that guests are still raving about.

Jutta from A Day Like No Other Events was an integral part of our wedding at Stern Grove in San Francisco. My 09/15/12 wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Jutta of A Day Like No Other. I honestly don’t think I could have done it without her! A bride has about a thousand tasks to accomplish and details to think about, but thanks to Jutta, I was able to just enjoy my special day. On my wedding day and throughout the wedding planning process, Jutta was on top of everything-- There was not one detail that she let slip by. And, she went above and beyond helping us plan and create décor that fit perfectly with our “vintage San Francisco glamour” themed wedding. Jutta truly has an eye for elegance, is very knowledgeable about the wedding process, and has amazing ideas that will ensure a spectacular event.

More than that, however, Jutta was a pleasure to work with. She was always very responsive when I contacted her, and proactive about reminding me of decisions that needed to be made or tasks that needed to be completed. For a busy bride like me, it was great to have her keeping me on track. Jutta and her team did an amazing job coordinating our wedding. We hired her for the month-of, but she went above and beyond and began organizing even earlier. She was on top of every detail during every step of the process – including many things we hadn’t even thought of. She was familiar with our venue and other vendors and was able to facilitate communication between everyone so that everything went smoothly. Throughout the planning process, Jutta had many helpful suggestions and implemented our ideas seamlessly. In the end, she was not physically working with us the day of the wedding, which we were slightly apprehensive about, but her assistant Kelsey was beyond wonderful. She met with us for a walk through the week before the wedding, and she was so personable, detail-oriented, and in control that we felt completely at ease. On the day of the wedding, Kelsey made sure that I got exactly what I wanted and we were able to enjoy our day, but followed our schedule and made everything flow well so that guests had a great time. Loved having Jutta as our wedding planner!

We started working with Jutta in January 2018 for our September 2018 wedding. Not knowing where to start, Jutta made our wedding planning journey a lot more manageable. We found her at a time when we were struggling to find the right venue. We wanted a venue that was both easily accessible and had access to nature. We wanted something modern and elegant, with great views. We also had a budget that we were determined to stick to. Jutta ended up finding us the perfect venue: modern, classic, with views that we got compliments on the entire night.

Jutta was there with us every step of the way for nine months, from helping arrange our detailed schedule, to helping choose my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses, to recommending our florist, DJ, and make up artist. Jutta is always extremely detail oriented, and gave us insights into things we didn't even think of, such as how to fold the table name cards to ensure they don't fall flat during the reception. She was also able to accommodate last minute emergencies, such as helping my husband sew on a button that had fallen after our ceremony. Jutta is always super responsive and very professional. I had full trust that come wedding day, she would make sure it would go off without a hitch. She has a range of experiences with many different types of weddings, and we fully recommend her. I had the pleasure of working with Jutta Lammerts at my September wedding in Carmel and she and her assistants were of great help during the entire time. Our venue required a weekend-of coordinator and Jutta was able to customize her proposal to perfectly meet our needs and the specifications of the wedding site.

We had a good idea of our vendors going in, and had a good sense of decor, pacing, vibe, etc but Jutta helped refine our ideas and, come the big day, she kept us organized, relaxed and on time. She was a terrific sounding board - always prompt and thoughtful in her responses - and supportive of our decisions.

Jutta has a great deal of experience in a variety of wedding styles and locations and it showed. Several of the vendors I selected early on had worked with Jutta in the past and it was apparent they respected her abilities. Any glitches that arose - and they always do!! - she took care of seamlessly, but always seeking our opinion first. One particular challenge we faced was the need to use shuttle busses to our venue. It was a daunting task to coordinate 215 guests plus the bridal party and a last-minute decision to bring in a crew of special friends to be with my fiance and me while we separately got ready. Jutta took over the scheduling and worked closely with the shuttle company to ensure we had the busses we needed, when we needed them, and then had her staff serve as the on-site traffic directors so everyone arrived on time. It was perfect!

Jutta always asked the right questions and helped us keep our focus. I am sure that if you needed a wedding planner for a complete package of support, she would be excellent, but certainly in our experience, she was able to partner with us in a very constructive fashion.

Jutta was a big help to two working parents planning their daughter's wedding in San Jose when our daughter and fiancé were starting jobs in NYC. We first contacted Jutta about 3 months before the wedding when we were overwhelmed. She helped us get organized and had a great checklist where she went through many items which we had not thought about. She had great suggestions, although some were not necessarily where we wanted to spend extra on. But if we did not accept one of them that was the end of it, she was very flexible to concentrate on the things important to us and our daughter. She was instrumental in developing the timeline for the ENTIRE day in 5 minute increments, detaining where everyone had to be doing what for us, the wedding party, and vendors. She has great vendor connections and recommendations at varying prices, and we found excellent people (like H&M) at reasonable rates. She frequently checked in with us to be sure things were on track and sent lists. She closely reviewed all our contracts to be sure all were OK, and went with us to meetings at the hotel to help make decisions. On the wedding day, she arrived early with another staff member and quickly went into action. She took care of a lot behind the scenes that we were not aware of, making the experience better for us, although we were all doing a lot with the hotel at the last minute. She had good advice whenever we asked. Once the wedding started, she got everyone at the right place at the right time to start on time, and from a distance gave the appropriate ques to our musician. She communicated with our vendors and the hotel banquet staff to be sure things happened at the right times, and everything went fairly smoothly, and adjusted when dinner ran a bit long. She made sure the bride and groom could enjoy themselves with no worries about anything. Jutta is an experienced, classy, professional wedding coordinator and it was a pleasure working with her.

When I first booked my venue, the onsite wedding coordinator ensured me there was no need to hire an outside wedding planner as they would be able to take care of everything a 'normal wedding planner' would do. Fast forward 2 months before my wedding, and boy was I wrong to have listened to the her. After multiple employee turnovers, endless amount of miscommunication and eventually finding out all they really do is coordinate with the vendors as they show up that day, I realized I needed help quickly. That's where Jutta and her team came in. They quickly came in and solved all my problems. Jutta worked with all my vendors, created a timeline and made sure every detail was understood and completed before the big day. Her amazing senior coordinators, Angeliki and Kelsey, we're onsite on my big day making sure everything was setup and running smoothly. Deciding to work with A Day Like No Other, was by far the best decision I made. Thank you to the whole team!

Jutta was the very first person we booked for our wedding and it was a decision we were continuously grateful for throughout the planning of our wedding. The decisions were endless and the details were numerous - Jutta kept us on track at every turn to ensure the day of our wedding was everything we'd hoped it would be. From the minute you meet Jutta, you know you're in good hands. She's professional, organized and always on. She provided amazing recommendations - from the venue to vendors to things as simple as our guest book - her contacts, experience and overall calm helped ensure our wedding day was magical.

We would strongly recommend Jutta and her services to help you plan your wedding - she's an absolute pro. In hindsight, the only change we'd make is the amount of time we used Jutta. We underestimated how much we'd actually manage ourselves so we didn't leverage Jutta as much as we originally thought. That said, we can't imagine having done our wedding without her!

I worked with Jutta at a friend's wedding and she was very on top of the events of the day. Anytime we had a question about a change in the schedule, she found us before we found her! She has a type A personality which is what you want someone to have if they are planning your event. She was still very flexible throughout the day and I could tell she was doing everything she can to make the bride and groom and guests happy. If we had a question about adding something in, her response would be "if you think it would make the bride and groom happy and there's time, let's do it." I would recommend her for keeping events on track and to keep people happy!

Jutta was an extremely professional and was way overqualified for my needs for my particular event. I had only needed a "day-of" coordinator for my wedding out of vendor requirements from the venue I was having the wedding, but of which is why I had rated the value a bit lower, not necessarily because she wasn't worth the money, it just more service than I had actually needed. She made sure that the venue was running smoothly despite some last minute changes. Our DJ had actually called 2 hours ahead to cancel and a replacement was coming in and Jutta made sure to keep me particular calm and reassured me that it was all going to be alright and it was. She was also an extreme pleasure to work with on the phone while I was shopping around for a coordinator. I would definitely recommend her services.

On top of it all!

Jutta was on top of everything throughout our wedding planning process. As we were planning a wedding from out of state, it was incredibly helpful to have someone on the ground who had a roledex of vendors that she personally had worked with and the ability to vet new ones if needed. Since we had to choose all of our vendors individually, Jutta was incredibly helpful with ensuring that each vendor knew of the timeline leading up to the wedding day and then on the actual wedding day, made sure that everything stayed on time. Honestly, she had everything so under control that we could actually enjoy the day and not worry about the little details because we knew she had everything taken care of! It was the most amazing day and she really helped make it be flawless.

Jutta Lammert was extremely helpful in providing contacts for wedding music, linens and rentals, and in suggesting special touches to add to the elegance of the wedding and reception. She is extremely efficient and responsive and I appreciate the assistance she provided for my daughter's wedding.

In the beginning, I trusted that Jutta was going to be helpful in planning my wedding. When she wasn’t that helpful during the planning (we only paid for a partial package) I reassured my fiance’ and my mom that she was going to really come through for us on the day of. While Jutta was helpful in some areas, when she charged us an additional $2k on top of the $3k we already paid her, we had to reflect on the actual value we got from her. The reality is, we do not believe she was worth the $5k we paid for her. If you are considering hiring her as a partial planner, please read the detailed review on Yelp. To sum it up, our biggest frustrations were:
- No day of checklist provided
-did not review vendor contracts to ensure we were prepared on the wedding day
-in 15 months of planning we spoke on the phone once
-was rude to our guests
-Vendors did not understand her timeline when she sent it to them the week of the wedding. They had to contact me for clarification
-Did not review shuttle contract to ensure we booked the proper size shuttle which led to us receiving an alternate shuttle that did not fit all our guests. Husband was taken from reception to figure out alternate plan.
-Did not remind us that we needed to bring checks to wedding to pay our vendors. Instead of reminding groom while he was waiting 2 hours before the wedding, she reminded him during the reception and he had to miss parts of it to pay them
-A couple weeks before the wedding she sent me another couple’s timeline.
-Late to wedding rehearsal and completely unprepared. We filled out a questionnaire about details of our large family over a year ago, yet she was taking names of our parents at the rehearsal and did not know they were divorced (though we informed her in a questionnaire we filled out)
All in all, we are extremely disappointed in the service we got for the amount of money we spent. I would never recommend her to anyone. She was inefficient, rude, and careless.

1) At the beginning of our reception, I realized that our MC was running late. I notified Jutta about it, yet she didn't call him on the spot in front of us and she seemed to be relaxed while my wife and I were panicking. I had to call him myself.
2) Our entourage should have been waiting for us on the dance floor, not on the steps during our grand entrance. This was clearly stated in the agenda: "The couples will form a "tunnel" at the dance floor with their hands." But Jutta didn't follow this simple direction and she told them to wait at the stairs instead.
3) For our grand exit, we specified to Jutta to have the mini bubble wands to be given to our entourage to blow bubbles while exiting. We reminded her last night and toward the end of our night, but she didn't do it. She said she left them at the front entrance and when she came back, they were gone. She was not supposed to leave them unattended in the first place, especially at the front entrance. No matter what, she should have gone above and beyond to ask around and find them for our grand exit, which didn't manifest the way we wanted it with the bubbles. She
was not trying to find them and she just stood there and did not do anything about it. It seemed like she didn't even care.
4) Lastly, on Exhibit A of the contract on page 7, it is stated "post
event break down (2 hours)." She should have stayed for 2 hours as
stated on the contract no matter what or at least until everyone leaves. But she left way before the two hour allotted time and our family were the ones who stayed and tidied up.

Disclaimer: I typically read negative reviews with a grain of salt, understanding that there are often two sides to every story, but my experience working with Jutta had so many red flags I felt I needed to review. You can read my full review on Yelp.
I was not the bride, but a bridesmaid at a wedding at which Jutta was the partial coordinator. I've never thought to leave a review for a vendor for a wedding that I was only involved in (as opposed to my own), but I feel strongly about both my own experience at the wedding, as well as the bride's, that it felt necessary to warn others.
During the time where the bride/bridal party we're getting ready at the venue, Jutta was constantly bustling in and out of the room, asking the bride logistics questions, and verbally scolding her for running behind schedule. While I understand the need to keep a timeline going, it was clear the bride was flustered, and despite interference from bridesmaids and the mother of the bride, Jutta was rude to the point of reducing the bride to tears. In my opinion, it is NEVER okay to treat your client, much less a bride on her day, regardless of how behind schedule things are running.
My biggest issue with Jutta's services was the way she treated not only her clients, but her manner with the wedding party and guests. Before dinner began, the MOH and I asked Jutta if there was a plan in place for making sure the bride and from ate dinner. (The bride had told us earlier that she thought that Jutta was getting her and the groom a plate before the buffet opened, but she wasn't sure). Jutta snapped at us, rudely telling us that she would take care of it and to "just go sit down". Minutes later, the DJ invited the first tables to go get food. The MOH and I ended up going through the line to get the bride and groom plates, because, again, Jutta was nowhere to be found.
Sorry for the long review, but in a competitive industry I don't see why someone would choose her services.
