Matthew was such a pro to work with as the catering planner for our wedding at Woodland Glasshaus. He was incredibly quick, competent, accommodating, friendly, and professional. The food was delicious and the day-of staff was 100/10 - smooth and efficient. The bartenders were rockstars and we went into our wedding day knowing we were in the best hands. We can't thank you enough! -

We are still blown away by the incredible food and service provided by D’Amico for our wedding at the Edward Anne Estate. From breakfast and lunch to hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and dessert—everything was absolutely phenomenal. We didn’t get to do a tasting beforehand as part of our package, so I was a bit nervous, but wow—it completely exceeded our expectations. The cake was especially amazing, and I’m already looking forward to enjoying it again on our anniversary!
Diane Nichols, our catering representative, was an absolute gem. She was incredibly detail-oriented and handled every change we threw her way with kindness and professionalism—even as our guest count fluctuated and we worked out a more complex reception layout with multiple displays. Her calm, knowledgeable support made the planning process so much smoother.
The D’Amico catering team went above and beyond on the day of the wedding. Not only was the food served promptly and beautifully, but they also came to the bridal and groom suites to refill our water and collect empty plates—it truly made us feel like royalty. We’re so grateful for the outstanding food, care, and service. Highly, highly recommend! -

Amazing food!
D'Amico Catering was our wedding venue's exclusive caterer so we did not choose them - however, they were everything we wanted in a caterer and more! Their communication was SO organized and the structure was so helpful during the wedding planning process. We did not have to worry about our catering needs at all, D'Amico is a well oiled machine and knows exactly what they are doing. It helped that they knew our venue like the back of their hand so they worked in conjunction with our venue seamlessly. It made us feel so good to not have to worry about the logistics leading up to the event.
Our event planner was so thorough and helpful when we had questions and needed to bounce ideas around. She was able to offer advice based on past experience and helped us to make the most effective and tasty choices for our food and beverages based on our budget and tastes.
Our tasting was excellent and left us even more assured that any and all food served at our wedding would be amazing. That certainly held true - at our reception we heard from almost every person that we talked to that the food was beyond excellent. Our guests were RAVING about the food all night! -

D’Amico and Edinburgh were wonderful before, during, and after our big day! Diane is very well organized and provided excellent, honest advice throughout. We had our ceremony outside, our cocktail hour in the upstairs balcony (indoor/outdoor) area, and our reception downstairs in their main hall. The getting ready rooms upstairs worked perfectly. The staff did a wonderful job with organization, set-up, and execution. Overall, the company is very flexible and can tailor services based on your needs and preferences. We received many compliments on the food and staff from our wedding day. We are so happy we went with D’Amico and Edinburgh! -

D’Amico Catering was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. Their whole team brought their A-game throughout our entire planning process. Our planner Kristen was excellent and helped us to plan every aspect of our day with impeccable attention to detail. They were so thoughtful in their execution and came up with ways to make the day so special beyond just their amazing food.
We had the best server, Tom, who was so gracious and welcoming all night. He made us feel like royalty and always had what we needed.
The food was amazing, we received so many compliments from our guests on the great selection and quality of food provided at the event. I am still dreaming of my Salmon, it was that good! They even created a custom dessert to top off the most amazing service. Thank you D’Amico for making our wedding day so special! -

D'Amico did such an excellent job helping us plan for our wedding at IMS! They were responsive leading up to our event. For a 200 person wedding, their pricing was very reasonable. They helped us with several special requests including being very accommodating of allergy needs and making us a cake of cheese. On the day of our wedding the staff was amazing. The food was SO good. IMS looked amazing and they were able to quickly flip the space for our ceremony. We have received so many compliments on the space and the food. I would highly recommend you consider D'Amico for you event. -

Thanks to D'Amico our wedding food was delicious. Every bit was savory goodness filled with juiciness. Can't count the amount of guests that came up to me with positive feedback about the caters. Overall, this company provided an unlimited amount of options and variety. Highly recommend. -

D’Amico catering is one of the most amazing caterers in Minneapolis. The food is elevated but it’s as fun and creative as you want it to be.
We are doing a “brinner” theme wedding, and D’amico has let us go off script and do something fun and new for our guest.
The taste, quality, and professionalism is hard to beat. -

A couple weeks later, and I am still receiving compliments that the food at our wedding was some of the best our guests ever had! We were so impressed by the creativity of the options, everything from appetizers to dessert felt elevated and unique. Bree worked with us to replicated “Uncle Leo’s” family recipe for an old fashioned which made him feel so special. We had a couple guests come up during our wedding to tell us how awesome the bartenders were. D’Amico provided amazing service from the first tasting event through the end of our evening with nailing our late night snack of pub pretzels and cheese. Would highly recommend. -

Krystle Sent on 06/08/2009D'Amico and Kirstin were wonderful to work with! Our reception was held at the McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis and this group was fabulous! We had sooo many compliments on the food being delicious and exceptional. All of the extras they did in terms of setting up the room, table napkins, setting favors, table numbers, help with cake design, etc. were appreciated and made the day perfect. Our coordinator was there when we got off the bus to escort us in and get the night rolling. They made sure everything was on time and made the overall night flow well! I would recommend using D'Amico for all of your wedding needs! Wonderful people and great service are two things that made them a pleasure to work with! Very responsive and willing to meet all of your needs as well. We had an amazing experience and our guests did as well! -

Rachel was our event planner who was recommended to me by another vendor and she was wonderful to work with. The cocktail hour and dinner were amazing and they did such a good job setting up the venue. The cake was amazing too and we got lots of complements on the food, cake and specialty cocktail. I would definitely recommend them, they did a wonderful job! -

After my husband and I attended his business Christmas party catered by D'Amico, we were so impressed with D'Amico's quality of service, aesthetics, and taste that we decided that they were the only option for catering our wedding. Anne was incredibly flexible, patient, and helpful to us, the food was probably the best I've ever had, and we've heard from many guests that that was the best wedding reception they had been to. As an artist and designer, visuals mean a lot to me, so I especially appreciated the impeccably artistic plating for each and every one of the 115 plates. Everyone was pulling their phones out to take pictures of the food because it was so beautiful! We decided to budget on a lot of other wedding things but spend the majority of our budget on food so that the guests could be treated, and we do not regret the decision at all. It was certainly pricey, but in our opinion, worth every penny. Thank you, D'Amico for the best wedding ever, and a fantastic and stress-free experience all along the way!! -

Perfect for our Backyard 25th Anniversary
We used D’Amico to cater our 25th Anniversary- during the pandemic, in our backyard, under trying conditions. They were easy and wonderful to work with, accommodated our special needs and requests, and delivered great service. We made the right choice. Food was very good! Great dessert and coffee service. They made our 25th a very special night.
(The “tins” shown in photo are from a guest. We had an international fair, and one thing I loved about D’Amico is that they were fine with us having our guest bring a contribution.) -

Through our vendor we had to go with D'Amico's however I'd choose them again and again if I did have the choice. I got numerous compliments after the wedding that we had the most delicious food they've ever had a wedding. A particular favorite was the angel hair pasta cakes, if you have the chance, get them! We had a buffet which was more than enough food for everyone. Everything was labeled as well, which was nice. -

When I found out they catered also, I asked if they would do our rehearsal dinner in my parent's backyard (where the wedding was being held). I would have loved them to cater our reception as well, but the hall we booked had a house caterer we had to use (which was also fantastic!). Our picnic-style rehearsal dinner was fantastic! -

We got married in the spring of 2019 at Calhoun Beach Club, and D'Amico is the sole caterer for CBC. I was very impressed with their sales staff as well as with the food- it is AWESOME. I had many guests say it was the best meal they'd had at a wedding. We had the opportunity to attend a free tasting (just during a weekday over lunch, so be prepared for that) where they gave us a ton of options to try and did not skimp on what was served. They also did our dessert (you can bring in your own but for a fee) and we went with cupcakes that were seriously delicious. I would recommend working with D'Amico again! -

We had a complimentary taste test with them to pick out our wedding food and it was so much fun! Their food is amazing all-around! We especially liked the salmon for an entree and the duck tacos for an appetizer! Our cake was amazing too! Something to keep in mind is that if you get your cake through them they don’t offer to do much to decorate it. Luckily for me, my Aunt is an awesome baker and cake decorator so we just supplied her with toppers and cake accessories to add to the cake on our wedding day! Another thing to keep in mind with this vendor is that there aren’t many “not fancy options”, so when we looked into getting chips or something like that for the groomsmen room at our venue... they didn’t have much for options like that. I have a picky little brother, so this didn’t work well for him to get the food he needed for a pick me up during the day lol! However, if you are all about having high class food then please don’t even worry about this! Like I said...our entree, appetizers, and cake were amazing!! -

This is my review from our wedding that took place this past Sept 2025. I've never written a poor review about a business, but I feel our experience needs to be shared. For any future couple getting married who's thinking about having D'Amico as the caterer, I'D REALLY THINK AGAIN. Go with someone else who won't cause you trouble on your wedding day. Below are a few things that occurred during our wedding:
1. My biggest annoyance after working with them - they have no problem taking your money, but when it comes time to making things right for the issues they caused, they TRULY could not care less. We told them about our problems & NOT ONE person we worked with from their team has cared to give me a call back.
2. We spent hundreds of dollars paying for extra rentals to live inside our reception space so that we could have 2 bar areas for guests to get drinks. 1 of their bartenders just didn't show up leaving our second bar to be completely closed for a majority of the reception. After our wedding we let D'amico know & because no one was calling us back, & we sent them an email about the situation. Via email, D'amico did reply & they offered to refund us the labor hours we paid for, however, if they would just give us a call back, they'd be able to learn that it's not just $500 in labor we got gypped. It was also hundreds of dollars in rentals we paid to have an extra bar & decor surrounding the bar. Last note about this, how could they not properly staff an event? They didn't have ONE back up person who could attend the bar? D'Amico claims to be the experts with a ton of experience, but this is such a rookie issue to have.
3. Our food was served cold. As the bride, I was told it's hard to eat when you have so many guests to entertain & say hello to. This caterer made it easy for me not to eat my main course.
4. We chose specialty cocktails to be served at our wedding & were not made aware until THE MORNING of the wedding that the specialty cocktails would only be available at the cocktail hour (our cocktails were simple 3 ingredient drinks: Old Fashioned & French 75). As an experienced catering company, how could they not continue to serve these throughout the evening, especially with these drinks being the easiest to make! In the instance that it did say in our contract that our specialty cocktail would only be served at our cocktail hour, this should have been made clear over one of our planning phone calls that specialty cocktails will NOT carry over to the reception. If it was made clear, we would have not opted in to paying more for the EASIEST specialty drinks. Big waste of money & again, we felt swindled.
I hate to say this, but if you are getting married soon, I highly recommend you work with another caterer. And Im happy to sign my name at the bottom of this review.. maybe then we'll finally get a call back.
