Best Photographer Ever!

Cristina is too wonderful for words! She is an absolute joy to work with and her photos are beyond stunning. Neither my husband nor I have any idea what we’re doing in front of a camera, and Cristina could not have been kinder or more patient with us during both our engagement photos and wedding day. We brought along our dog for our engagement photos, and Cristina never batted an eye during his less-than-cooperative moments. She made the engagement photo session a complete breeze and so much fun from start to finish. Her partner, Constantin, joined for the wedding day, and they made the most incredible photography duo. They captured all the important moments and ensured that we got every last photo we wanted. They also handled corralling everyone for large family photos in an extremely timely and orderly fashion. They’re both so lovely, fun to work with, and take the most incredibly beautiful photos! I could not recommend Cristina (and Constantin!) more highly.

Perfection

Cristina and Konstantin are a DREAM! Choosing the right photographer was so critical to us as we knew these photographs were how we would reflect on our big day. Once we saw Cristina's portfolio, we were hooked and knew we had to have them! Not only are they the sweetest, but they were so tentative to the bridal party as well as our family and friends. Their experience and expertise made our day so seamless and comfortable! From fanning out my dress and veil, to suit adjusting and hair fluffing, these two really do it all to make sure that every shot is perfect. Since the day we received our photos, we have not stopped staring at them! They make us laugh and cry the happiest tears as we are reliving some of the happiest moments of our lives. The way that Cristina and Konstantin captured the most candid moments is something we will truly cherish forever!! These two will always hold a special place in our hearts and we would recommend them over and over again!

The Best of the Best!

Cristina and her second-shooter, Konstantin, are beyond amazing.

When we first started searching for a wedding photographer in Chicago, we were overwhelmed, as there are so many options. However, Cristina’s portfolio quickly caught our attention. Specifically, we noticed her nighttime portraits and the excitement and energy that each one captured. I had never seen photos that were so beautiful. After speaking with her and looking over her packages, we knew that she was the one.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Cristina, so this post will be a little long. But most importantly (to me), Cristina is incredibly responsive. Before and after the wedding, she responded to each of my emails within 24 hours, no matter how small or silly the question. She was always kind, straight-forward, and patient.

A few months before our wedding, I saw in one of her Instagram posts that Cristina offers hybrid (film + digital) packages. Since our venue was very romantic and garden-esque, we knew that we wanted to benefit of both mediums. It was one of the best decisions that we made in the wedding planning process. Obviously, everyone knows that Cristina’s digital images look as if they were taken straight out of a high fashion magazine, but to me, her film images are even more beautiful. She was able to capture such vibrant colors and soft images. I honestly can’t stop staring them.

Also, I can’t imagine that our day would have run as smoothly with any other photographer. Cristina kept everyone on schedule. My day-of coordinator actually told us that she was one of the best photographers that she’s worked with.

After the wedding, we received so many photos, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that I love all of them. We have so many images perfect for printing and hanging, but she also captured our guests and our interactions with them. I think many people underestimate how meaningful those photos end up being. We are able to look back and see our family and friends enjoying themselves on the dance floor, and we weren’t able to enjoy all of those moments on our wedding day, as we were so busy mingling. I look back at the photos, and they take me right back to that day.

And finally, we ordered our wedding album and parent albums through Cristina. That process was seamless, and we are blown away by the quality of the albums. (I’ve actually had five people reach out to me to ask where I had them made.)

If we had to do it again, we should choose Cristina and her team every time! They are simply the best of the best!

Absolutely amazing!

Cristina was one of the first vendors we hired after we got engaged and am SO happy that we did. She was super helpful and amazing to work with before the wedding. On the wedding day she knew what she was doing and had such an artistic vision for all of the pictures. She was also able to wrangle our big families to make family portraits run efficiently. She helped place my dress for each of the photos and made sure everyone was posed correctly. Konstantine was the 2nd shooter at our wedding and he was amazing as well. 200% would recommend Cristina G to anyone getting married that really wants good quality pretty pictures.

Christina was amazing!!! We are so thankful we found her and our family pictures turned out beautiful!. The whole process was easy going and painless and even our teenage boys had a good time. I don’t even know where to start this glowing review of Cristina G Photography. My husband and I hired Cristina over a year ago to do our engagement photos and then our wedding this past March. From our first meeting with Cristina we knew she was the one. She made us feel comfortable and confident that she would guide us through some posed photos but also capture those special candid moments of our big day and most importantly, she acted as excited to be a part of our wedding as we were. She made us feel like our wedding day was incredibly important to her, not just because we are her clients but because she understood that these photos would serve as memories documenting one of the best days of our lives for years and years to come. Her excitement and professionalism made her very easy to trust with one of the most important aspects of our big day. We are two people not very comfortable in front of the camera but she helped us be as prepared as possible with her guidance around everything from outfits to hair and makeup to locations for our engagement photos and our big day. Our engagement photos were RIDICULOUS! I can’t tell you how many people described them as they best they’ve ever seen. She captured our love beautifully but also guided us to iconic locations and beautiful backdrops in the city where we fell in love and started our lives together (Chicago). The photos from our wedding day are even more stunning and every single scenario we wanted was captured from high impact scenic shots in downtown Chicago to candid shots of our families on the dancefloor. Her signature champagne shot at the end of the night is MANDATORY for all couples (not by her, I’m just saying you’re crazy if you don’t do it)! It is the MOST joyful and happy photo from our wedding day, I can’t look at it without breaking into a smile and maybe even a few happy tears. Thank you Cristina!

Cristina G photographed our wedding on June 24, 2017. She was one of the first vendors we booked because she came so highly regarded by so many people and all I can say is, I couldn't be happier!! She is truly an incredible photographer with an awesome personality. All you have to do is look on her Instagram and blog to see how amazing her photography is, and I can vouch that the photos she showed us were absolutely incredible!! However, it's not just her amazing photography that makes her the best choice, it's her personality!! She was amazing to work with - so organized, friendly, and easy to get a long with. She did an awesome job of coordinating our 16-person bridal party - which was no easy task. I would recommend her fully without hesitation and I would re-hire her in a second. She was worth every penny and we will treasure her photos forever.

Cristina G. is simply amazing. She is extraordinarily talented and we cannot have imagined any other photographer making our wedding day as special as she did. We just received our professional photos and are simply in awe – she captured our day perfectly and we could not be happier! The first call I had with her was a very detailed call to go over pricing, what to expect in the packages, and what to expect from her throughout the process. I had full trust in her that she would take gorgeous photos, and she did just that! We took our engagement photos in September 2015 which was a perfect opportunity to get to know Cristina and her photography style in advance of the wedding. Sometimes taking posed photos can be awkward but not at all with her. We felt comfortable and she captured great moments, especially with our French Bulldog! A couple weeks before our wedding, she sent a short questionnaire which was a good way to get any feedback from me on what must have photos we want with family and guests. Also, a side note that Cristina is very quick at responding to emails and calls which is a plus in the wedding planning world! When wedding day arrived, Cristina and her associate Konstantin were there while we were still getting ready. It was great to have both of them there to split between bridal room and groom's room. They were both extremely professional and were also so easy to be around. The day went so smoothly and they captured countless gorgeous moments. Our wedding photos came in about 7 weeks after the wedding, and let's just say I cried for a while when looking through them. The poses, the settings, the angles, everything was just perfect, and the special moments they captured are just stunning! Cristina is not only an amazing photographer but she is a really great person. She cares for her clients and is genuinely so excited to take photos for your special day. You will not be disappointed if you book Cristina for your photographer!

It has taken me awhile to write this review because I could not decide how to best approach it and give Cristina the proper outstanding review she deserves. Words cannot express how wonderful it was to work with her and the pure magic she works with the camera. Cristina was HANDS DOWN the best vendor I hired for our wedding this past May (2016). I have received the most marvelous complements about our wedding photos and she captured beautiful memories that we can cherish for the rest of our lives. We used her for both our engagement photos and wedding photos-- we couldn't have been happier. The planning process with Cristina went very smoothly. She is a pro and knew what questions to ask to be extremely organized for the big day. Another plus was that she kept us more on schedule than the day of coordinator we hired and made sure we received all the shots we wanted. I urge you to visit her Instagram to see the beautiful work she does (@cristinagphoto). Her work is phenomenal and it seems like she is doing another gorgeous wedding every weekend (book early!). I have attached some of our pictures. There is a certain softness and elegance to them that I do not always see in other photographers' work (considering it is now wedding season and everyone is posting their pictures). It is hard to describe but the quality is evident. She has a great eye for details as well as the beauty and unique moments of each wedding she shoots. She becomes personally invested in each wedding she shoots and her compassion for what she does shows in her work. I know this review is really gushy and corny but honestly, the pictures speak for themselves. Do your research but you will find that Cristina's work is one of the best in Chicago. My husband and I will definitely be recommending her to our closest family and friends!

Cristina G is such an amazing photographer! She photographed our engagement session and wedding photos, and we are in awe of how beautiful they turned out! Cristina G is so delightful to work with. I have not seen all my photos yet, but what I have seen is STUNNING. Her photos are beautifully artistic without being over the top and cheesy. She made us feel so comfortable and confident throughout our wedding day, and I cannot wait to see the rest of the photos! I live in San Diego, my wedding was in Chicago, so I didn't have time to meet any photographers before the wedding. After seeing her photos and a few phone calls, I knew she was my girl. She had never been to my venue, so we met a month before the wedding to walk through the site and plan a few photo areas. She was so sweet and accommodating throughout the whole process.

I'm so glad that Cristina G Photography was recommended to us for our wedding! Just looking at photos from previous weddings in her online galleries made me trust that the photographs of my wedding would be beautiful. Even though my husband and I live out of town, we were able to have phone meetings with Cristina to discuss our wedding, and she was so friendly and helpful from the start.

On the day of our wedding Cristina and her assistant were great! She was such a nice person to have with us while we were getting ready. Because we had some issues with rain that day, we changed around the schedule and decided to have the bride and groom first look pictures done before the ceremony and Cristina was very accommodating and helpful while we were trying to decide what to do. We love all the picture that were taken during the day, and we didn't even notice that they were taking pictures of us during the ceremony. There was such a nice mixture of posed and candid photographs, which was exactly what we wanted. It was great when we got the pictures back because it helped us remember the little moments from the day that might have been forgotten otherwise.

After looking at some of the albums that Cristina put together, we decided to order one as well. She has put together such a beautiful collection of photos from the day, I can't wait to see the finished product! Overall, Cristina was such a wonderful, professional, and genuinely nice person to have with us on our wedding day, and we are so grateful that she was able to capture so many special moments!

Cristina G and co were absolutely amazing during our wedding! Cristina is very down to earth and flexible. When we were late for engagement photos (oops) she immediately jumped into action and made the best of the situation (and using the quickly fading sunlight). She's great at guiding you into the poses and positions that will make for the best pictures and clearly knows what she is doing. She is very professional but also has fun with it and clearly enjoys her work. During our wedding, she setup beautiful pictures around the city and helped me pick the best spots for gorgeous pictures. During our trolley ride around the city, she went out of her way to help me pick me up my dress and rearrange it in new photo spots for stunning photos. Little things like this showed she was willing to go above and beyond for her clients and I really appreciated the help! During our wedding I barely noticed she and her partner were there. They are very good at capturing candid moments and different views of the important "wedding" moments. I would highly recommend Cristina and her team to anyone.

We were blown away by Cristina G’s talent, creativity, attention to detail, and passion. We were so happy that Cristina and Konstantin captured our wedding day. Cristina has a wonderful balance of traditional, emotional, and romantic that show beautifully throughout photos. Working with Cristina G was a perfect match for us and she has given us beautiful photographs to remember our wedding day!

I can still recall the excitement of getting Cristina’s message about our photos being ready after the wedding. The fact that she was so excited for us and so sweet makes the experience even more fun and special.

Cristina always responded promptly to my emails and questions. She went out of her way and offered to meet us last minute and to scope out first look locations when we had a hard time deciding. She offered good suggestions and I appreciated her honesty. Her attention to detail is incredible – she reminded me about a few things and I appreciated her taking the extra step to provide the best service to us.

Our family and friends are still raving about Cristina G’s beautiful work. We’ve been told that we have “the best wedding photos” they have ever seen! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Cristina and we look forward to the next time we will need professional photos taken – we will definitely be calling Cristina!

My husband and I were tasked with planning our wedding in Glenview, IL from Toronto where we live. I first came across Cristina and her team when searching online for local photographers, and immediately fell in love with her dreamy wedding shots!

Angelo and I first met-up with Cristina for our engagement shoot down town Chicago in May. Her Nighttime Lovers photos are captivating and I had to have some of my own! My husband isn't used to getting his photos taken but being the pro that she is, Cristina encouraged and posed him until he relaxed and started having fun with the shoot. The results couldn't have been better!

Fast forward to our wedding. Cristina called me about a month prior to the wedding to discuss logistics, ideas for photos, and basically my entire wedding. She filled me in on tons of details I hadn't even thought about! She asked about my dress, the decor, the atmosphere were hoping to capture and more. It is through her knowledge of the small details of our wedding that she was able to capture exactly the type of photos we hoped for. Our photos are magical!

I can honestly say that choosing Cristina as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made. She could have made us look good in paper bags!

We are so happy we decided to have Cristina as our wedding photographer!! She is so fabulous to work with and her photos are simply stunning!! I could not have more perfect memories from our wedding day! Cristina came as a recommendation from a friend, I looked through some of her work and I loved everything I saw. I scheduled to meet with several photographers, but I knew right away that Cristina was the way to go. She is so sweet to work with and has such an amazing talent. We did an engagement session with Cristina and my now husband was not looking forward to this to say the least. He is not a fan of being the center of attention and certainly not along the Chicago RIver at 5pm on a Friday! Cristina did an amazing job making him feel comfortable and having fun taking our pictures that just turned out amazing. And my husband even learned a few things from the session that helped make our wedding day pictures so much more amazing! Cristina was also really amazing with any questions I had leading up to the big day with suggestions on winter wraps to wear on our 3/1/14 wedding as well as photo shoot locations for pre ceremony pictures around the city. She also helped with suggestions for a day of wedding coordinator that helped bring it all together! On the big day, it was so great having Cristina with me the whole day, I think I spent more time with her than my husband!! Again, Cristina and Constantin did an amazing job making my husband feel completely comfortable and enjoy the picture process. She was always easy to find when I wanted a picture taken but I never felt like she was in the way. Her ideas for some creative shots turned out truly AMAZING!! We are in love with our photos. I seriously can't stop looking at them everyday and everyone that has seen them gives me amazing complements! My photos were a huge part of the big day and they turned our simply stunning! I can not say enough good things about working with Cristina!!

Cristina was a wonderful wedding photographer! From the first meeting she was very open and friendly, something my husband and I did not always experience from other photographers we met. Actually, the process of choosing a photographer was pretty stressful until we met Cristina. She helped me not only with ideas for the photographs, but also with ideas about making the wedding run smoother in general. Her advice and insight were so appreciated. The day of the wedding she was the perfect balance of helping me know what to do and where to go, without ever being in the way. The photographs she took turned out amazing! She did such a great job of capturing the emotions of the day. So many family members have told me how wonderful they find my wedding pictures and have ordered prints for themselves. I think that by far Cristina was the best investment of our wedding budget! If she is available for your date book her right away!

After reviewing dozens and dozens of photographers in the Chicago area, my husband and I fell in love with Cristina's work. I found most photographers' portfolio examples depict outdoor, brightly lit scenes (which Cristina can do amazingly, as demonstrated by our springtime engagement shots), but few photographers can capture indoor, nighttime scenes. Cristina's experience with nighttime photography was a perfect fit for our evening-time winter wedding. She is amazing at dreaming up interesting and unique shots spontaneously in the moment (for instance, we found some heart graffiti that we used as a backdrop for an engagement photo in the park) and is wonderful at providing guidance ahead of time during the planning process (like where should grandma sit at the reception to get her reaction to the speeches, what getaway car looks best in pictures, or great makeup artists that do work that really pops in pictures). Her pictures absolutely speak for themselves though. In addition to her endless talent, she is also wonderful to work with. My husband and I aren't the most comfortable in front of the camera, but she was great at providing easy and natural instructions that helped us look our best in the photos. Konstantin joined Cristina for our wedding day, and the two of them make an amazing team. They are experts at working quickly without sacrificing quality, which is so important the day of your wedding as things inevitably go behind schedule. We are huge Cristina G fans and can't wait for her to capture future anniversary and (hopefully one day!) family shots!

When I started my search for wedding vendors, I knew right away that I had to have Cristina G Photography. Cristina photographed a friend's wedding several years earlier and I absolutely adored her wedding photos. She is able to capture each moment so perfectly, it's like you relive it all over again. Not only is her work extraordinary, but she and her assistants are so sweet, and fun, and easy to work with! Even though Cristina is busy being amazing, she always finds time to call or email back and forth about ideas and potential services, and always follows up to make sure everything is exactly how you want it to be. My husband and I are IN LOVE with all of our wedding photos and can't wait for an excuse to use her services again!!

We had a very small wedding and THE most important thing to us was the photography. Cristina G. was one of the first names we came across and fell in love with what we saw in her portfolio. Even after viewing MANY other photographers' sites, we kept coming back to Cristina...and we are SO glad we did. Her eye for beautiful pictures is amazing. We wanted pictures that were more "candid" and carefree, ones that were very sweet and romantic as opposed to the traditional staged wedding photos and that's EXACTLY what we got. And to top it off, she is so easy to work with - very professional, very accommodating, and very, very sweet. The photos were delivered on time as promised and were absolutely breathtaking. I LOVE Cristina G!!! After hours upon hours of research for the photographer (was extremely important to my husband and I), we chose Cristina G and immediately fell in love with her work. We absolutely adored our engagement photos and used them throughout the stationary leading up to the wedding. We are sooo excited to see the edited photos from the big day in a couple of weeks!

Cristina and her amazing assistant (we hired 2 photographers) Constantin were professional, timely, and got straight to business. They did not get in the way at all yet captured everything. Cristina is creative, determined, and incredibly helpful. She had great ideas for unique and artsy shots, and never sat down! She even fixes my gown, etc., to make the pictures extra special. They are also known for candids which I was very pleased to know when booking. She is not the cheapest photog you will find, and for GOOD reason. Would definitely use her again if I could do it all over!! LOVE!!

Cristina G Photography is amazing! We hired them for our April 2013 Chicago wedding, and we had a truly great experience working with them. On our wedding day, they were right on time. They were so unobtrusive during the wedding, that I was shocked when I looked through our photos. I had not even realized that they were there for many of the moments they captured. I still don't know how they managed this.

Speaking of photos, they were all absolutely amazing (we looked like we belonged in a magazine), and we got our pictures back very quickly (within a month). I highly recommend Cristina G Photography to all brides and grooms to be.

The best photographer there is! Both Cristina and Konstantin were the photographers for both my engagement session and my wedding. Cristina took a lot of time to figure out what type of photos I wanted and even looked at some photos that I liked on the Internet to see what I envisioned. She was able to suggest locations for photos to try to recreate backgrounds that I had seen. She was very patient and was able to capture a lot of emotion in her shots and had the perfect balance between "candid" shots and posed shots. She responded promptly to emails and was on time for all meetings.

Photography was one of the most important things to me for my wedding because the pictures document the events of the day and are something that everyone wants to see and that you will look at time and time again. You can't go wrong with Cristina G.

We are beyond happy with Cristina G. A one hour engagement session was included with our package. My husband wanted to split that up into 4 seasons of 15 minutes each...and she went for it! Every session was edited and ready to go earlier than she would tell us. She was totally flexible, quick to respond to emails, and best of all, took amazing pictures! We got to know her over the past year and half, seeing her every season for more pictures. We will miss her! She and Konstantine photographed our wedding in June. We found Cristina after a long search. We loved her work so much that we wanted to book her to photograph our engagement pictures and our wedding on the spot! Her incredible ability to make us feel connected to these brides & grooms that we didn't even know had us hooked. The way she captures the feelings and emotions of a couple's big day is beautiful, it really shines through. We knew she would be the perfect person to document our most important day.

We did a 1-hour engagement session with Cristina (which happened to also be the first time we met) in the early fall. I was a little hesitant that we wouldn't get enough pictures in an hour, but we were blown away by the results! She was so sweet & so incredibly easy to work with that we instantly loosened up and were at ease in front of the camera. We were able to be ourselves, which we knew would be great on the day of our wedding. Not only did she take beautiful pictures, but we also had fun!

I'm obsessed with photography; this was my toughest choice. I scoured websites, reviews, and had 4 interviews with my "finalists" before immediately selecting Cristina G. Cristina G is...phenomenal. She did way more than just capture our important day; she captured our happiness & our love! I am blown away looking at these pictures because I can't believe it is US in some of them! As soon as we sat down with her, my husband and I knew there was something special about her (not kidding-we were giggly after she left because we knew we found "the one!") She's sweet and kind and really listened to what our vision was. She wanted to know everything about us that she could--our story, how we met, what we do for fun; it was after that meeting that we knew she was going to do more than just take pictures. She was going to CREATE something. It's in her blood; it's her passion. What an amazing feeling to know that you are working with someone who is MOVED by her job!

We trusted her completely; I don't know that many brides can say that about their vendors. When I contacted her, she replied right away. Her specialty is Chicago, but we had our wedding in Michigan; they were early and took extra time to scout out the vineyard where the ceremony would be held so she could start creating her vision!

If you want stunning and breathtaking photos-just hire her and BE. There are no other words to describe it. My husband and I were able to trust, to feel, to let go and just enjoy that moment in time, and Cristina and her (also amazing) assistant created magic. Her pictures are works of art. They are breathtaking, artistic, and they absolutely capture our personalities at the same time! We can't get enough of them. When my friends and family see them, all we hear is "WOW. Amazing. Stunning. Phenomenal. Breathtaking. Where did you find her? She is fantastic. Good luck picking the ones for your book!" That's how inspiring her work is!

What else can I share so you understand how much I loved her? Go to her website and read her blogs. She gives herself to each of her brides...we're all special and unique to her in different ways, and I LOVE that. We're not just a job. She will do whatever she needs to to create those memories for you. Here's a perfect example: I was supposed to have this vintage Rolls Royce drive me to the aisle at our vineyard. It broke last minute, so I didn't think I'd get those pictures (sad face). But, Cristina knew I was excited about those pictures, and she was not one to give up easily. As soon as she got to my reception, she started exploring, and she found where the car was parked. The hood was popped and an entire toolbox full of stuff was inside by the engine. It didn’t look promising, but she found the owner, asked if we could get inside and close the hood as well to take a couple pictures in there. He told her she could do whatever she wanted. There are no words to describe how awesome those end-of-the-night car shots are. They're fun, sexy, vintage, romantic. Who else are you going to find online that is going to bust her butt to make your night as complete as that?!

I am blown away by her (if you can't tell from this review!) I could go on and on. I have unbelievable memories from my amazing wedding day because of this outstanding woman, and I highly recommend you let her take you on a journey that day as well. Trust her-sit back and give her free rein and creative freedom. You won't be disappointed. We love her!

Cristina captured the essence of my daughters Vintage Style Wedding on March 31, 2012 at Kitchen Chicago in a BREATHTAKING way. When I saw the photos I felt like I was looking at a magazine spread. Choosing our wedding photographer was definitely the most stressful detail of our wedding planning journey. My husband and I both knew we wanted amazing, quality photographs and were on a mission to book the perfect photographer. Our experience working with Cristina for our engagement shoot and wedding this past March has been absolutely amazing!

Finding a photographer for our wedding was one of the last things we decided on. There are so many options in Chicago, but none of the samples we saw really jumped out at us. That was until we found Cristina G's website and blog! Her style was exactly what we were looking for- beautiful and timeless with a focus on emotion and lighting. You can tell immediately that she is a great story teller with her camera! On top of all that, her prices are very reasonable.

We had pretty much made up our mind on Cristina G before we met in person, but we were completely convinced after we met for coffee and spent time talking through our vision, her style, etc. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding Cristina was quick to respond to any questions we had and was very organized!
My husband and I are both a little camera shy, so we decided to do an engagement session the month prior to the wedding to get used to the camera and working with Cristina. I'm so glad we did! It was such a fun afternoon at the lakefront and we got a preview of the great photos we could expect from our wedding! Cristina made sure we got our pictures super quick so that we had time to have some printed to display at the wedding.

The day of the wedding Cristina was on time (even a little early!) and was completely ready to jump in! We didn't have much time before the ceremony, but she managed to capture a few getting ready shots, our first look, pictures around the hotel we got ready at, some shots by the Chicago river, and then a surprise stop on the way to the venue at an adorable ivy-covered house that she had scoped out prior to the wedding! During the ceremony and reception she did such a great job of interacting with our guests in a way that was natural and unobtrusive.

Cristina posted a preview on her blog just days after the wedding! It was an awesome surprise on our honeymoon looking at the fabulous photographs she shot. She captured the vintage style of our wedding in a way that looks straight out of a fashion magazine! The response to our wedding photos by everyone that has seen them has been one unanimous word, "beautiful". We're so happy with our decision to use Cristina G photography and can't wait for another occasion to work with her again!

I was referred to Cristina G Photography by one of their past brides, and I’m not at all surprised. I can’t really imagine a better vendor to work with. They made me feel like I was their only bride for the year (which is far from reality) from our very first meeting. My husband hates posing for pictures, but Konstantin and Cristina have a gift for making photography fun. After our engagement session my husband was actually excited to have wedding pictures taken! We had a 20 person bridal party and I was so impressed with how effective the team was in getting great shots in such a short period of time. Not only is Cristina a true artist, she is a great person to work with. Her vision and taste shines through in her professional and friendly attitude. During our wedding and engagement session she did a great job making us both feel comfortable and truly captured the true couple we are. During our wedding she came in and immediately put me at ease by directing all my girls and getting things done quickly without rushing us and sacrificing good shots. She was very mindful that my husband and I didn't want to see one another before the wedding and she communicated with the other photographer so we never crossed paths. This took a lot of pressure off of our maid of honor and best man. Before the wedding she did a great job of capturing all the details from the ceremony decorations to the centerpieces. She was everywhere we needed her. During the ceremony neither she nor Konstanin were obtrusive as we walked down the aisle. They really blended into the atmosphere and we didn't feel like we were on a photo shoot instead of cherishing our ceremony. Both Cristina and Konstantin were great at working with our families to get through the photos we wanted with all the people we wanted without taking too much time away from our reception. The two of them were everywhere throughout our reception and between the two of them each moment was captured. I would recommend each of these wonderful photographers to anyone. Cristina is a wonderful artist and her photos bring out the personality of the subject. She is a wonderful woman to work with and she made our wedding, and the memories of that day, perfect!

When I first began researching photography for my wedding I decided that I wanted to choose a photographer that worked for themselves and wasn't a freelancer at a large company. After all, the photos are the longest-lasting part of your wedding day!

Cristina G from Cristina G Photography was amazing to work with. I knew right after our initial meeting that she would be perfect for my wedding day. Throughout the planning process communication between us was effortless, and the engagement session was a great chance for my husband and I to get to know our photographer.

I have received SO MANY compliments on my pictures from the wedding day, especially the outdoor night-shots in Chicago. Cristina was able to make the buildings, street lights, and cars in the background look beautiful and artistic.

Finally, the album that Cristina designed using the pictures we chose is flawless. I look at it almost every day!

Cristina is the best!!! Not only is she accomodating and a total perfectionist but she is fun and easy to work with!!! Both my husband and I are a bit camera shy, well, she was able to pull out of us our inner selves and capture who we really are. She goes over each photo and makes sure it is up to par and then sends it out to us, even with her crazy schedule she was able to get us the engagement photos and some of the ceremony photo's in time for both the ceremony and second reception!!! Cristina G. Where do I begin ... fate brought me and Cristina together. I found her simply by googling images of the ceremony venue and, thank the gods, she had already shot a wedding there. That's how I found her and she was the only photographer we met with. I feel like I caught a shining star on the rise. I love, not just her journalistic approach to weddings and keen eye, but her dogged dedication to capturing emotion and creating unique compositions. I researched for a long time for the perfect photographer. I met with numerous photographers and knew right away that Cristina was the photographer that I wanted to capture our big day. She took engagement photos for us and I absolutely loved them. As the wedding day came closer, I had no worries about how the photographs would turn out. Cristina was very professional and always responded back in a timely fashion. I was so excited when I saw the photos. She captured the day beautifully. I would recommend Cristina with no reservations.

My wife was very camera shy, and Cristina was able to calm her nerves while taking some amazing photos. She really knew how to capture the moment. She is such a little photographer, and I was afraid she was going to slip through some railroad tracks into the river below, but that didn't stop her. All our family remarked about how great the pictures were and we would definitely hire her again.

Our first meeting with Cristina was in a coffee shop. I could tell she was organized and professional. Her portfolio spoke volumes about her experience and artistic eye. We booked her shortly thereafter and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our engagement session allowed us to become more comfortable in front of the camera. I was mesmerized by the engagement pictures. We had never looked so good! On our wedding day, Cristina and Konstantin captured many priceless moments. Their pictures are simply works of art. I can't wait to frame them on the wall! If you choose Cristina and Konstantin, it's a guarantee your wedding pictures will be PHENOMENAL!!! My only regret is that we did not hire them for the entire day. 6 hours only allowed 30 minutes of pictures before the ceremony. If we had them for a few hours before the ceremony, cocktail hour could have been spent taking more pictures with family. Hire Cristina and Konstantin ALL day!!! :)

Konstantin & Scott shot our Chicago wedding in September 2011 and did an absolutely amazing job! We were looking for a photojournalistic photographer who had an eye for capturing the real moments of the ceremony and reception and Konstantin was right on the money. I was exteremely rushed in the morning (hair and makeup ran super late) and we had about 10 minutes to take pictures at the hotel with my dress, me getting dressed, putting on jewelry, bridal portraits, etc. and Konstantin managed to get some great shots without making me look like I was freaking out! (because with 10 minutes to get dressed, I WAS) There was quite a bit of time between the ceremony and reception and Konstantin knew exactly where to take us to take beautiful pictures in the city (planned and unplanned locations). Once we were at the reception, we running a little behind schedule. Konstantin told us not to worry and he would stay as long as we needed him to get the photos we needed. Suffice it to say, we had a blast and our amazing photographers did a wonderful job capturing all of our important moments. My husband and I could not be more happy with the photos and the professionalism of Konstantin and the rest of the crew at Cristina G Photography. Great people, great price and simply stunning work!

One of the toughest things to do was to find a photographer for our wedding. You want to make sure you can find someone who has a unique style, but who can also mold that style to match who you are as a couple. Cristina G Photography far exceeded our expectations. When we saw the first few photos from our wedding (she even blogged about our wedding!), we were smiling just as big as we were the day we got married. The photos literally brought us back to that wonderful day. All the joy we felt, every swell of emotion, came rushing back over us - she truly captured us and our day, and captured it in her unique brand of fashion-magazine style photography coupled with true artistic vision and candidness. That's hard to do, even harder to pull it all off with grace and professionalism....and she made it sooooo easy! From the first moment we spoke to her until the present, she has been patient, kind, organized, professional, and direct. Hell, she was the best vendor we had at our wedding - she was even making sure our limo driver knew exactly where we needed to go, and at what time. She was on point the entire time, which made us be on point, too! And each time we met with her prior to the wedding, including our engagement photo session (which I highly recommend - it helps her get an idea of how to work with you, and gives you an idea of how much fun it's going to be working with her), we felt like we were the only couple she was photographing, even though we knew how in demand she was. I could go on and on about the merits of Cristina G Photography......and I would never tire singing her praises. Her rates are hard to beat, her organization and professionalism are hard to beat, the photographs she takes are hard to beat, and having a friend the day of your wedding, a vendor who is 100% in your corner, is pretty hard to beat, too.

Our wedding day was insane and stressful. We even forgot to kiss after our vows! The only thing that it seems I did right was hire Cristina. She has wonderful tips for a bride to do before the big day. Listen to her, she literally knows everything because she's seen it all. We were completely exhausted and she somehow made us look spectacular. Her eye as a photographer is completely fantastic. Her skills are perfection. The colors in her photographs are just right. Fifty years from now we are going to have our kids and hopefully their kids say, "Look at this photograph!" This is why we chose her. She knows exactly what she is doing. She was a fabulous nerve counselor for the day as well. Did I say that she has a great personality? She does. Let your anxiety go, smile, trust her and just be you. Her photography skills are one of a kind. This woman's work is timeless, classic and always elegant. We would hire her again for other occasions as well. I forgot to say that she drove to Iowa for us. Like I said, completely fantastic! Having her as our photographer is something I don't regret. She is worth it. She truly is a master of her craft. She basically came into a train wreck and made it look beautiful.

Words can't explain how happy we are that we chose Cristina G Photography to photograph our wedding. She has a great knack for detail, she listens to her clients, she has a great creative eye and she's so sweet. When we showed our friends and family who weren't able to attend the wedding our sneak peek photos, everyone said that they felt like they attended the wedding because the photos captured the entire the essence of our beautiful day. We've also had many people compliment the photos saying that they look like they belong in a magazine. Cristina and Konstantin did an awesome job of translating our big day into images that we will keep and share for years to come. Cristina is an amazing photographer and such a pleasure to work with. Her vision is something this is unmatched, and her pictures prove it. She captures the story of the day, not only the people but the emotion, love, and thought that truly goes into a wedding. The candid shots that her and Konstantin captured were so incredibly amazing. We cannot wait to put the photo album together, but it is going to be really hard narrowing down our favorites!

My advise - get the second photographer. Cristina's partner, Konstantin, took some amazing shots and it was really worth having two different views of the day! Absolutely amazing!!

She's a photojournalist with a gift for documenting and editing jaw-dropping images. Professional and friendly, Cristina is a talented artist with good business sense. My husband and I agreed immediately she was the photographer for us. We paid a flat fee (8-hour package) and loved the fact there were no "games" as with the big studios (e.g., we knew exactly who our photographer would be, didn't have to buy a certain amount of prints or wedding album or wait one year before receiving a dvd and rights to our pics). Guests at the wedding commented on her ever-present but non-overbearing style and friendly approach. Easy to work with, she sent sneak-preview pics immediately. Ask her about our photo thank you cards (her idea) - guests are still raving about them. Her images are a treasure. On a daily basis we appreciate her photos in our home and are very thankful Cristina was the one to document our big day! You'll love her!

Choosing Cristina G Photography was hands-down THE best decision I made for my wedding day. Our photos are so beautiful, words cannot accurately describe them. I'm obsessed! I look through them (all 603) almost daily. Your wedding day goes SO quickly, but you have your photos to relive that day for the rest of your life. When you hire Cristina, you not only get a photographer, you're also getting an artist and a storyteller. After our initial consult I never doubted our decision of using her to capture our wedding day. Our finished photos showed all of the life and storyline behind our special day and that is someting we will be grateful for forever.

One of the many things that set Cristina apart from the much larger, (less personable) photography corporations is her genuine passion for capturing great photos. It was a blessing to see her excitement about finding the perfect lighting or the perfect spots for our engagement pictures. And find the perfect lighting and spots she did! We cannot count the compliments received on our photos!

Cristina is extremely professional, always on time, and really the best thing is having someone with amazing talent capture your day that is truely excited to be there doing exactly that.

Cristina exceeded our expectations for our May 29, 2010 wedding in Chicago.
She we an answer to our prayers after we had such an unfortunate experience with another photography "chop shop" corporation. I was a bit apprehensive meeting with photographers again after being burned by GSPV, but she was extremely professional and immediately made us feel very comfortable. She was different than the meetings with the large corporate-feel photography studios - but that is what we liked about her. And we were meeting with the actual photographer! not some wet-behind-ears sales person. She answered all our questions, showed us examples of her work, she fit in our budget and she put us at ease. We didn't feel pressured by a cheesy sales "shtick". Cristina is just passionate about what she does for a living you can see that in her as soon as you meet her! Rick and I knew instantly that we finally found our photographer!
After the "pre-wedding" engagement session, my husband and I knew we struck gold. Her ES pictures were phenomenal! She really knew how to work with us, direct us and manage our poses - and you could really tell by the photos, we got SOOO many compliments. So this made us very confident going into the wedding day. We knew what she wanted from us in our poses, and she knew what we wanted from our pictures. The 3 of us met a week before the wedding to go over logistics, desired locations and back-up plans. She then took that info and created a tentative itinerary/ schedule for us. And fortunate for us - the weather cooperated so we did not need to revert to the back-up plan for indoor shots.
Cristina arrived on the wedding day looking spectacular! She looked professional yet elegant- she looked like a beautiful friend of mine who was attending the wedding as a guest! She was also right on time! My wedding party really took to her as well - they all really liked working with her and were eager to cooperate with her as well (its a tough job trying to coordinate over 20 people in a pose!). She made sure to get all of the shots I requested - even when I was distracted at the reception, she made a point to get a few of my favorites. I am glad she did-those turned out to be my favs!
We ended up getting over 600 images...in HIGH RES, and only a month after the wedding! we were amazed she was able to edit them all that fast! We were thrilled when she delivered the final DVDs of photos. She also presents them beautifully in a lovely hard-cover leather book. I am so happy we were able to find Cristina - she was a blessing! Photos are what you have to remember the most important day in your life. If the images are as important to you as the memories then go with this quality photographer - not a factory photographer. You will be thrilled with the expertise of Cristina G. She has an amazing creative eye, and is a true photography genius. I still get chills when I see all the new photos she posts. Her photos just keep getting better and better! Thanks Cristina - you really helped make our wedding so special!

I can't say enough about Cristina G! Cristina photographed my wedding and engagement session, and the pictures have come out beautifully. Cristina has an amazing amount of talent, which shines through in her work. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable throughout the day. Cristina was great! Her pictures are amazing. It took longer to get pictures back than it would have with some photographers but that is only because she spent so much time editing. The lighting effects in the pictures were fabulous and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. We will be hiring her again in the future for other life events for sure!

All of my friends and family knew that the photography one of the most important aspects to our wedding. Not only is my husband a photography snob, but I am pretty artsy myself and enjoy things that are "different". We met Cristina on Facebook, through a mutual friend's page and set up a meeting with her. She is actually the very first vendor we booked outside of our wedding planner! Just meeting Cristina is an experience in itself - she is a tiny women with an amazing eye for detail. I would say that she really specializes in finding beauty and detail in the most simple things. Her packages are very affordable compared to those of photographers that answer to studios, and you always work personally with her. Her packages all include an engagement shoot so you can get to know one another. Three days before the wedding she also did a walk through with me looking at different places to take pictures near the church etc. She also works with a second shooter who is equally amazing if you want to double your luck with your pictures. Cristina is very personable and I would recommend her to any family member or friend planning a wedding.

Cristina is an extremely talented photographer. Beyond that she provides superior customer service and is willing to go the extra mile to make your pictures extra special. Anyone who knows me well knows that I hate having my picture taken. At the same time, I long to have good pictures where I like the way I look and can display them as memories of friendships and events I care deeply about. Cristina not only made me, and my now husband, feel comfortable, but the entire process was much more fun and enjoyable than I could ever imagine. That comfort combined with her ability to capture raw and beautiful emotions in an artistic way makes for some incredible wedding photos and should make her a natural choice for a couples' wedding photog. We also used some of her innovative shots in interesting ways and have a canvas of one of our engagement pics that we turned into our wedding ketubah. I love her creative spin, her eye, and her instinct for knowing when and how to candidly capture a moment. I give her my highest recommendation and cannot imagine that she'll disappoint.

Cristina was amazing!! Within 24 hours she had already emailed us some pictures. She is a pure JOY to work with, extremely friendly and a FANTASTIC photographer. I can NOT recommend her ENOUGH! I have had people insist that our pictures are from a magazine. Her eye for detail is pure perfection!!

She was always VERY quick to reply to emails and phone calls. Very professional. She made everything on our end seem so effortless and easy. If I could give Cristina a rating higher than a 5 I would in a heartbeat!!!

We first met Cristina in 2008 when we booked her for our September wedding. More than a year and a baby later and I just got around to post this long overdue review.
It must be because of how busy we have been admiring all the wonderful memories she has created for us!!!
Cristina documented our wedding, my pregnancy, baby shower, baby's first photos at the hospital, baby Christening and several portrait sessions since then! She has a special way of making you feel and look your very best with every image she takes.
I always tell her how in real life I never look as beautiful as I do in the images she captures!
We are so very lucky to have found her! We absolutely love her and highly recommend her to anyone!

Cristina G provided amazing pictures for us to enjoy and look back on for the rest of our lives. They turned out more gorgeous than we could have imagined. Cristina was cooperative, creative, and VERY flexible throughout the wedding planning process, and also on the day of the wedding. We wanted a photographer who would be receptive to our ideas, but also would use her professional judgement to take the best pictures for our wedding, and that's exactly what we got with Cristina! It rained on our wedding day and was unseasonably cold, so instead of having all my family members wait in the cold to take family pictures, she suggested we do our wedding party pictures right then and do the family pictures later, inside the reception hall. It turned out to be a GREAT judgment call (and one I didn't have to stress over on the day of!), as the family was comfortable, and Cristina chose a gorgeous staircase to take the pictures on! I rated her 4 out of 5 stars on quality because there were certain pictures that I thought could have been taken a little differently; but overall, Cristina had some great ideas and took some really fantastic photos that we will cherish forever.

Cristina did an absolutely fanastic job and we were very happy with our photos. She was flexible with the photography scenes/locations and also creative in terms of finding them prior to our wedding. We'd highly recommend her!
