Perfect Wedding Planner

As the bride without a clue what I wanted, Covenant Weddings was exactly what I needed. Mrs. George and her staff were full of ideas and experience to guide us to a beautiful wedding. Communication with Mrs, George and her staff was honest, professional and as often as we needed. No detail was overlooked or went unanswered. The best wedding planner around!

Let me tell you something…if you don’t hire Diane and her team, you’d be making a huge mistake!!! Diane was an excellent planner and has an invaluable wealth of knowledge about the entire wedding industry as a whole. Diane was also always readily available for my husband and I throughout the entire wedding planning process. No detail was overlooked and no question was too small. Diane also referred us to many top notch vendors and did everything in her power to ensure that our vision was brought to life flawlessly and beautifully. Diane is also just an all around great person, is so supportive, and we are honored to be able to call her a lifelong friend moving forward.

Wonderful Experience

Would absolutely recommend Covenant Weddings! Diane runs the shop and was very knowledgeable about weddings in general. From vendor recommendations to wedding advice/etiquette information, Diane always had an answer or suggestion. Her deep experience allowed us to trust her with our vision and it paid off in the end. :) Diane and her team ensured the day ran smoothly and were extremely professional (even keeping everyone on point during rehearsals!).

Early on, she helped us map out a budget and planning schedule which helped highlight things we would've never thought of. She also had a number of handy "things to purchase/bring" lists that helped ensure nothing was forgotten.

Moreover, we had an interfaith wedding (Christian and Jewish) and Diane was still able to help make our day magical while being considerate of how we wanted to interweave both faiths.

Have to reemphasize, Diane's vendor recommendations--all were stellar and we ended up using most. All were professional/reasonably priced and seemed to have a great relationship with Diane which worked really well for the outcome of the wedding. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner :).

Amazing Planners and Coordinators

Our New Year's Day Wedding was a hit, thanks to the team at Covenant Weddings. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Janice & Chantel for our wedding. We paid for the day-of coordination package, but the team went above and beyond! Janice and Chantel helped me to stay organized during this process, and they truly made the planning experience unique and unforegettable. Their team also did a great day at our wedding. Our guests felt like they were in a movie. I love that this company is flexible on modern wedding trends and always honest. They executed the modern wedding vision that I had beautifully. I highly recommend this company. I also referred them out to my friends who are currently planning their upcoming nuptials.

A Dream Wedding

Diane George and the Covenant Weddings team are amazing. As the Father of the Bride, I was determined to find someone who could make my daughter’s dream of a flawless and magical wedding day come true. Covenant Weddings not only made our dream come true but they exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail, large and small, was evident throughout the planning process. Diane's referrals for wedding vendors (photographer, florist, videographer, DJ, caterer, etc) were excellent. They were all very professional and pleasant to work with. One of our most favorable impressions of Diane and the Covenant team was their professionalism on the day of the wedding. An outdoor ceremony was planned but the weather did not cooperate. When the rain came, Diane and her team flawlessly executed a Plan B that was equally pleasing. The Covenant team was calm, deliberate, reassuring and in total control of the moment. Families on both sides continue to tell us how much they enjoyed the entire wedding experience and thanks to Diane and the Covenant team, it will be a day we will cherish forever.

Excellent Wedding Consultant

Diane was a wonderful wedding consultant! I had to postpone my wedding from 2020 to 2021 and she worked with me to shrink and re-conceptualize it due to the pandemic. She also helped me manage my relatives by sharing her expertise around what was reasonable and current wedding trends. She patiently listened to my wedding stress laments and helped find solutions for problems I encountered. She has rosters of vendors that she has worked with and I picked many based on her recommendations. They did not disappoint. Everyone did their job beautifully. Diane helped me pull off a flawless wedding day!

The Best Decision Ever for our Black Tie pandemic wedding!

We can say so much about Ms. Diane. For starters she’s reliable, resourceful & professional. She’s very experienced and knowledgeable. Along the way, she taught us wedding etiquette and how to save money when it came to our vendors. We called her almost everyday with questions and concerns and she delivered. Our original wedding date was May 15, 2020. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, our wedding plans were derailed so we had to post-pone until May 15, 2021. She remained professional and supportive through the whole process. We couldn’t thank her enough for the job well done. Even her team was awesome and professional. She is worth every penny and we plan to use her services again for other events. We highly recommend her 🖤

My husband and I can’t thank you enough for all of your hard work in helping us plan and coordinate our wedding. Your checklists and timelines made sure every detail was addressed (and made my parents very happy to see that we were staying on schedule  ). With my parents living so far away, I personally was so grateful that you always made time to answer all of my crazy questions, provide sage advice, and refer me to professionals and businesses that did an outstanding job. Thank you for going with us to all the meetings, tastings and walk throughs and for reviewing our save the dates, invitations, and programs. Your expert eye made sure we made excellent decisions that set the tone for an elegant, fun and heartfelt wedding and reception. During the rehearsal, it was so reassuring to have you there to provide specific instructions about every detail of the ceremony and reception.
On the day of the wedding, you and your staff coordinated the millions of moving pieces to make sure my wedding day was one I will never forget. You and your staff gave my husband and me a priceless gift. We were able to live in the present and thoroughly enjoy our day without having to worry about details and timelines. If i could use one word to describe them I would say INCREDIBLE. They handled our day with love with care with precision and joy. They treated our Big Day like there own. We had a difficult time with our venue and they were right there to handle the situation and smooth any roadblocks or wrinkles so we could have the day that we wanted. They worked with us throughout the entire process offering suggestions for concerns logistical hiccups, suggesting amazing vendors from an extended list of contacts and partners at a variety of price points and then beautifully placing every little detail for the reception just how we imagined if not better. I could not have seen my vision come to life without Janice and Chantel and I would tell anyone who asks that they need them as well. They will just make your day amazing. Best decision ever!

Hiring a wedding coordinator is a good decision for a bride to make in the process of planning a wedding and hiring Diane is was definitely one of the best decision I made to assist me and ensure my wedding day was seamless. When I first contacted Diane she immediately put me at ease. I scheduled some time to speak with her in person to discuss my needs and my vision. She took her time explaining the process and how her and her team would execute the day of coordination and answered all of my questions. I immediately connected with Diane, I felt like I had known her for years. After the initial consultation I felt a heavy weight lifted off of my shoulders and knew I had made the right decision. Even with planning every detail on my own for my wedding there were things that I had not thought of and this is where Diane's expertise and professionalism really kicked in. Diane provided me with a detailed wedding timeline that kept me on track 3 months prior to my day. She contacted all of my vendors and reviewed all of my vendor contracts to make sure I was receiving the best service at the contracted price. On my wedding day Diane and her team were amazing. I did not have to worry about anything. Their execution was flawless and I received so many complaints from my guest stating that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. So to sum it up you wouldn't go to court without the best lawyer to defend you, you wouldn't go to a fast food restaurant to get filet mignon, so you shouldn't entrust one of the most important days of your life without Diane by your side.

Came to my rescue!

Diane was absolutely a pleasure to work with! Though I was excited to plan my wedding , I was too busy with a new baby and hectic job to focus on all of the details of planning. In working with Diane, not only was a tremendous amount of stress alleviated, but I gained a good support and friend in the process of planning my wedding. All of her vendor contacts that I worked with were very talented and professional people. I’m still getting compliments a month after my wedding. And I didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of either! I’d highly recommend her to anyone I know who is getting married...even if they don’t think they need a planner and day-of-coordinator.

It's often said, " you're wedding will not go as planned, so just expect the unexpected." Well that was just simply not the case! Our wedding was absolutely PERFECT and was a true reflection of the direction, leadership and expertise of Mrs. Diane George and her Gladiator Squad!

She blessed our hearts with her pleasant and kind spirit and made our wedding dream come to life. From our first meeting, she exhibited an attentive ear by listening to our relationship story and offering planning suggestions without forcing her vision on our special day. "It's your wedding," she would often say, which displayed her desire to to have us involved in the decision making process and not feel pressured to include wedding elements that did not speak to our relationship.

If you think you can’t afford a wedding planner or day of coordinator, think again! You can! And you should hire Diane George of Covenant Weddings. They are simply the best! We had no plans to hire a planner or coordinator, but after recognizing the overwhelming task of helping my daughter plan her wedding, we contacted her. She had coordinated a fabulous wedding we attended earlier last year, so she came with a super referral. In our first conversation before we agreed to sign up with her she listened to my woes, provided sound counsel, asked pertinent questions, and showed a sense of humor that let me know that it was all going to be alright. Only after I asked, did she mention her wedding packages and we signed up for the day-of-coordination. I found her rates to be far more reasonable than others I had researched and her payment plan very flexible. Honestly, I felt that after our first conversation I had already received my money’s worth. Although she was supposed to be the DOC, she was available to us throughout the entire planning process, helping us to stay on course. With her expert planning and timeline, the wedding day went off without a hitch. She coordinated with all vendors to be in place on the big day and all vendors reported to her and contacted her with any issues. She and her staff are like a stealth SWAT team. For the most part, we didn’t really see much of them during the day, but everything seemed to flow like seamlessly and effortlessly! To be sure, they were easily accessible by phone and made sure to check in as needed. My daughter, the bride, said at the end of the day, that she hadn’t really seen much of Diane and her crew during the day and I replied, that’s because they were like guardian angels protecting us from all the hassles and woes of the day and just making sure that the day was magical! I highly recommend Diane George and Covenant Weddings and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Covenant coordinated our school's Junior Prom, and it was amazing! They took our vision and brought it to life, which allowed us focus on our students and really just enjoy the evening. I cannot say enough good things about them. From their relationships with vendors, to the party favors they created for each guest, it was just above and beyond anything we could have accomplished on our own.

My husband and I are so very grateful for Chantel, Jackie and Janice. Words cannot express how blessed we are to have had them work with us for our 05/26/ wedding. I booked them before we were officially engaged and it was the best decision we made. We ended up changing our venue from DC to PA and the team was able to accomodate us and make trips to the new venue and coordinate every aspect of our wedding. I had selected the day of package and the services provided were above and beyond, they had weekly conference calls to keep us on track, assisted in etiquette reviews for things like invitations, created the timeline and order of reception and coordinated and organized all the vendor logisticis and information. At one point I was going crazy trying to figure out last minute things like the linen order and they told me to chill because they've got it handled! That was exactly what I needed to hear because on the wedding day, they took the worry of my shoulders and my family and I are so grateful for all they did between monitoring the weather, dealing with a not so easy to work with venue and keeping everything on schedule. There is no way we could have pulled off our wedding without their help and knowledge; they are truly experts and gifted in their roles. The best part of the process was having their faith in Christ be a part of their work and it showed in every vendor interaction and email and phone call. Wedding planning is so stressful and the CW team kept us calm and allowed my husband and family to enjoy our wedding day and not worry, all we had to do was show up and get married! My favorite part of the process was the prayer circle during the rehearsal because I knew this day meant as much to them as it did to us; I will never forget the amazing wedding they coordinated for us and consider them our friends now and not vendors.

Diane helped me execute my wedding exactly the way I had vision it to be. Diane was always readily available and responsive to my needs. As I started my wedding planning journey, Diane introduced me to many different vendors and every vendor that myself and my husband came across only had wonderful things to say about Diane, even if we didn't finalize a contract with them. Furthermore, when I mentioned to the vendors that I was a client of Diane's, they seemed overjoyed and relaxed. This reaction gave me the idea that Diane was about business and dedicated to her craft.

The day of my wedding, Diane and her team was attentive and professional. Diane and her team catered to all my needs and made sure everything was organized and on time! Diane and her team executed my wedding at the highest level of expertise. My wedding was on September 17, 2017 and myself and my husband are still receiving phones calls and comments on how Beautiful and Organized our wedding was.. Working with Mrs. Diane from Covenant Weddings & Occasions was a breath of fresh air. As a bride I was looking for a wedding coordinator who was experienced, detailed, encouraging, helpful, resourceful and kind hearted. Mrs. Diane posses all of these characteristics and more.
To rewind time back to when I first met with Mrs. Diane, as any bride I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect meeting yet another wedding coordinator but Mrs. Diane was unique. Within one hour of meeting her she was able to grasp the concept of our wedding, create a budget, break down the month to month “to-do list”, identify priorities and learn not only my personality but my husbands as well. I can remember having a blast in her office just brainstorming ideas and watching her create a plan so that those ideas can come to life. During the course of planning she was the calm to my storm when I was frustrated, she prayed for my union and only spoke positively. When my husband and I failed to reach our “monthly goals” she reassured us that it was okay, encouraged us to keep going and that everything will fall into place.
As a client I could go on and on about the greatness of Mrs Diane’s work ethic, but I dare you to try her out for yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed and will receive an overflow of blessings just as we did on our special day!!

Diane was fantastic to work with! She was flexible and helpful. Could NOT have planned my wedding without Diane. My fiancé and I started the process on our own by trying to select a venue, which we successfully did, but after that process I knew I needed help. We both had very busy schedules. My family was on the other side of the country. I knew I did not have the time or connections to plan this wedding on my own. I went with the best friend package and I can say Diane really does become your best friend during the process. I wish I had something to plan, just to have a reason to call her on a regular basis. Her connections and recommendations for vendors was the most invaluable thing she could offer. It really paid off to have someone on your side that has been in the business for as long as she has.
The reason I chose Diane and Covenant Weddings is because I had never planned a wedding before and wanted to make sure that it went as close to perfect as possible. I was looking for someone who would be comfortable enough to tell me which idea I had was a good one or not. I trusted Diane would and could do that for me, which I appreciated. I did not want a "Yes" person. However, this is not to say that if you want something that a vendor is unwilling to negotiate, that you do not have the best advocate in your corner.
I cannot say enough good things about the company and cannot give Diane enough thanks for making the process and most importantly my wedding day the best it could have been!

What can I say? Diane and the team at Covenant Weddings and Occasions are THE BEST!

My wedding day was perfect, and I didn't have a care in the world on the day (Sept. 16, 2016).

Even as someone in the wedding industry, initially, I was overwhelmed with ideas, decisions, vendor isssues, and money. Jackie was my voice of reason and kept me calm, always saying "we got you". While Diane knew how to orchestrate and make the plan work to perfection. These two ladies worked late hours and made themselves available whenever I needed them.
I can't tell you how reassuring it was on the day to know they were in charge. My family and bridesmaids kept asking what they needed to do, and my response was "nothing CWO will take care of it"....and they did! Wedding day assistant Ciara, was awesome. I would see her out of the corner of my eye moving around ensuring everything was in order, and even acting as the heavy when she had to.
It brings tears to my eyes to think of all that they did for me and my husband on our wedding day.
Here's my interpretation of who Covenant Weddings and Occasions were to me during my wedding process:

God sent his angels when it was time, he sent his angels to adorn and make beautiful my path of a straight line, they organized the room and the others who played a part, and prepared the way for me to walk to the man HE sent to care for me and my heart.

Diane is an absolute gem! We hired her in May '16 to help us plan an August '16 wedding with around 300 guests. We had a very tight timeframe in which to put together a beautiful event for our many friends and family that would be attending our wedding from near and far. On top of that, we had a limited budget to devote towards hiring a planner. Diane was a dream come true. Before we even hired her, we knew that she was the perfect fit. We had a lot to accomplish in a limited amount of time, but her professionalism and expertise put us immediately at ease. We hired her for the Day-of Plus Package, and yet she did way more for us than we could afford to pay her for (seriously). She was an amazing help; she literally spoon-fed us every vendor we needed, all of whom were top notch. A few days before the wedding, I needed my wedding dress altered. Diane referred me to a fabulous seamstress that worked wonders within 24 hours. If I didn't trust Diane, I'm not sure I would have trusted a seamstress with my dress days before the Big Day. Needless to say, Diane's referral did not disappoint; in fact, all of the vendors we used were amazing and best of all, within our budget. I'm sure we gave Diane a few grey hairs during her time working with us, but she handled us with grace, compassion and professionalism. She is extremely organized and has a stellar reputation (rightfully so!). It was an absolute pleasure working with Diane and her team on our wedding day. We are so happy that we hired her.

There has never been a traditional wedding in my family nor in my fiancé's. I knew I wanted to have a beautiful, elegant, and traditional wedding, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen with no guidance. Then, a friend recommended Diane George but warned that her weddings were so extravagant, gorgeous, and elaborate that she might be way out of our price range. After just a few minutes over the phone with Diane, I knew I wanted her as my planner; she was clearly seasoned in her field, very professional, and super down to earth. I just didn't know if we'd be able to afford her services. After hearing all of the services she would provide with the best friend package, I could not believe how affordable it was! We booked her immediately, and it was the best decision we made in the entire wedding process. Diane was by my side every step of the way through the planning of my wedding. There was never a question I couldn't ask. She was always on time, organized, and professional when dealing with vendors. She was literally like a second mom to me throughout the process and I am so grateful for the caliber of service she provided. Needless to say, my wedding day was the best day of my life! It was a fairytale come true all thanks to Diane bringing our vision to life, connecting us with high quality and professional vendors, and coordinating my wedding day like a 007 James Bond mission. Throughout the process and even on wedding day, people could not believe how NOT stressed out I was, and I credit that to Diane. I had the pleasure of working with Diane George of Covenant Weddings while planning my June 2015 wedding. I was a very do-it-yourself bride and a bride on a budget, but knew early on that I wanted, rather needed, at least a Day of Coordinator and Covenant Weddings delivered. Diane George went above and beyond my expectations. Most of the other coordinators started 3 months prior to the wedding to coordinate with vendors, schedule and run rehearsal and then show up the day of the wedding, but not Diane. She was there with us every step of the way. She created a schedule of all the tasks that needed to be done for each month. This schedule kept me on track and kept me from feeling overwhelmed with trying to figure out what needed to be done or whether I had missed something important. Diane also created a budget breakdown for us based off of the budget we gave her and also offered ideas to help keep cost within our budget and she was always available to answer any questions I had. I also noticed that my venue was more accommodating after I brought in Diane. Stuff they had flat out told us no on, when Diane asked they were more flexible and willing to consider. She asked all the right question and not only reassuring to us but also to my vendors. Shortly after deciding on a Covenant Weddings, my husband and I realized that having Covenant Weddings and Diane, was one of the best purchases we could have made for our wedding! She is great at what she does and is very personable. Having the Covenant Weddings team assured me that no matter what happened the day of my wedding Diane would be able to handle it. When my fiancé and I first got engaged, we looked no further than Covenant Weddings LLC! We heard and read a lot of wonderful reviews from this company, but we had to experience how professional, warm, loving and caring this company and all of its affiliates were for ourselves! We're so glad we did!! One the first day of meeting Diane George, we knew that we were in the right hands. She treated us with so much care and love, and made it a comfortable space for us to discuss our vision for our big day. She introduced us to Jackie and Janice, who were our additional wedding coordinators for the entire engagement period and wedding day. WOW! They exceeded our expectations. We didn't have to worry about anything during the planning stages because they had everything under control. They even went to a few of our appointments to make sure that we were getting what we needed to have our special day exactly the way we wanted. Jackie and Janice both worked so well together that it was a smooth process to talk to them on any of our concerns, budget changes, vendor questions, etc. They took care of us! One particular thing that I appreciated about Covenant Weddings is their thorough and effective form of communication. Emails and calls were a weekly way of communication. With our busy schedules, the emails, wedding checklists and weekly phone calls kept us organized and on track. When we needed more time to complete a task, they honored it. When we were confused about something in the planning stages, they calmed us down. When we didn't know how to address a concern, they had the right words to comfort us. Wedding Celebrations Doubly Wonderful for Daughter and Mother

It’s not what one would ordinarily think that a daughter and mother would celebrate their weddings months apart and be planned so beautifully by the same wedding planner. But that is what occurred for my daughter and me.

My daughter was married on June 7, 2014 at the beautiful Oxon Hill Manor in Oxon Hill, Maryland. She retained the wedding planning services of Covenant Weddings and Events owed and personally supervised by Diane George. We can share that everything organized by Diane was professionally and expertly handled from beginning to end almost a year before the wedding date to the very last minute of her celebration.

Once the venue was chosen Diane recommended a caterer and florist, the two most important vendors. She prepared a timetable and the wedding day schedule for the bride and her wedding party. Diane left nothing unplanned and unrehearsed to the exact timing of deliveries and arrival of the photographer, DJ, caterer, florist and the exact moment the wedding was to begin. Diane’s gentle manner and patience and that of her associates were absolutely appreciated by everyone.

When I said the wedding “celebrations” were doubly wonderful I meant just that! Having seen the outstanding professionalism of Diane and her Covenant Weddings team, my fiance and I approach Diane to see if she could work her magic and orchestrate our wedding on October 11, 2014, just four months after my daughter’s wedding. When she said her schedule was open, it was full steam ahead! Our wedding was just as skillfully planned and untaken as it was for my daughter’s wedding. Everything was lovely for our smaller more intimate wedding of 65.
No detail was left undone. We receive the same special care by Diane.

So whether it is a wedding of 150 or 50 you can be assured that Convenant Wedding and Events will demonstrate the highest quality of service and care.

About 6 months into planning my wedding I started to become a tad bit irritated by the vendor/catering manager that was responsible for handling my nuptials. So, instead of going into Bridezilla mode I decided that I needed to seek out someone that could help me make wedding day dreams come true while running interference with the catering manager. I'd heard from friends that having a wedding planner was the way to go but, hoped to do everything in my own. Plus, I didn't really have the budget to add a wedding planner on to my plate. So, after reading some online reviews, checking out some price lists, and web sites of a few planners I decided that I liked what Covenant Weddings had to offer and set up a meeting. My initial meeting was with the owner of Covenant Weddings, Diane George. Diane was pleasant and I was immediately impressed by the view of the National Harbor from her office. I was thinking, this lady must have it going on with a view like this and I know I'm not going to be able to afford her services. However, we hit it off so well at our first meeting that I found a way to contract with Diane for the final six months of my wedding and looking back I AM SOOOOO GLAD I DID!!! Diane is like a wedding planner, mother hen and girlfriend all wrapped in one. Whenever I called, she answered, and if she didn't answer she called back as soon as possible. Diane makes you feel like you are her only client and main focus. What bride doesn't want that in a planner? As I reflect on my wedding planning experience I don't think my wedding would have been as flawless as it was if I didn't have Diane and the staff of Covenant Weddings. I really can’t say enough great things about Diane (the owner), her staff, and ALL of the hard work they put in to make our wedding possible. There is no way in the world I would have been able to do to get married without them. I am pretty much indebted to Diane for the next five or so years... She really is worth her weight in gold and I cannot begin to thank her enough!
From the very first day I met at her office, I knew this was a good fit. Her attention to detail, superb knowledge of the area & industry, and sweet demeanor were just a few of the things that caught my eye. She is by far the nicest person I have ever met but at the same time... girl knows her stuff and she will not take no for an answer when it means getting something for her brides! She never treated me like a client- always more like a daughter. I hired her about 8 months prior to the wedding & she hit the ground running! We spoke on the phone at least 5 times a day in the beginning and closer to the end. She booked every one of my appointments, attended as many as I needed, and sent about 500 emails to various vendors making sure that everything was EXACTLY what I wanted. Another big deal for me was that she knew vendors in the DMV area & her references were spot on. Our venue, caterer, hair stylist, minister, makeup person, DJ, florist, and dress alterations were all referred to by Diane & each one was phenomenal. Everyone spoke very highly of her & knew that working with Diane means you better get it right! As we got closer to the day, she worked around the clock making sure every single tiny detail was planned to perfection. She was always accessible (at many hours of the day & night!) to help soothe my fears on even the dumbest things.
Diane really is family to me now and I HIGHLY recommend her & her staff. They were professional, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would not have had a wedding without the folks at Covenant Weddings & because of them our special day was perfect.

Diane made our special day as stress-free as it could be. I can't imagine what would've happened without her there to give us guidance every step of the way: from gifts for the wedding party to referrals for the lighting company. I had been planning my wedding in Washington, DC from across the pond in London for months. The final month was approaching and I knew I had to contract with a wedding coordinator to handle the final pieces. I needed a "30 day planner". In my case, it was a little less than 30 days. A friend of a friend mentioned I check out Covenant Weddings. After doing some research, I called Diane George (owner) and had a brief conversation with her. I had spoken to several wedding planners and I pretty much knew the indicators of speaking with an experienced planner. Diane was very familiar with all of my vendors and most importantly she was ready to hit the ground running..and that she did. She was very organized, poised, prompt, and attentive. On the day of my wedding, she and her staff were very kind and had everything under control. I felt confident that the event will run smoothly and that it did. It takes a lot to coordinate a wedding at the Corcoran Museum and St Matthew's Cathedral because it involves a lot of protocols and rules. Diane and her staff executed it perfectly.

I will remain forever grateful!! I highly recommend their services.

WOW! Working with Diane George and Covenant Weddings was a blessing. Over the course of planing my wedding we developed a great relationship. Having a great relationship gave me extra confidence in the planning process. My husband and I got married on November 17, 2012 and finding Ms. Diane George 9 months before our wedding was a blessing. I had no worries at all on my wedding day. Covenant Weddings LLC was in a word “Excellent” wonderful to work with. I assisted my cousin in her wedding planning process. From the beginning of the process Diane kept in touch with us about everything. She provided full wedding planning services, diligently worked with us providing guidance and serving the bride and groom’s wants. Diane became like family over my 9month engagement! Very professional, knowledgeable, and she gave me ideas to make my wedding everything I dreamed of! Diane was the event planner for our June 2012 wedding. Besides being warm and jovial, Diane was always responsive --responding to emails and phone calls immediately -- timely, and dependable. Within days of our first meeting, she gave us a customized budget and schedule. She also went above and beyond in resolving any issues with vendors and in accompanying me to vendor meetings. We always felt we were in capable hands and that she had our best interests in mind. She also introduced us to some wonderful vendors within our budget. The result was a fabulous event. People still remark about beautiful and well organized our wedding was.

The consultant has the most warm and pleasant spirit. Very helpful with ideas regarding the entire wedding from start to finish! Covenant Weddings consultant came in and saved the wedding by assisting with wedding rehearsal, decorations, day of coordination and the actual entire wedding. Diane George of Covenant Weddings was a gift from the good Lord above. As a DIY bride, I thought I could handle the planning and execution of my big day on my own but I quickly changed my mind when I attended the wedding of a fellow DIY bride as a guest and became the wedding coordinator before the bride made it down the aisle. It was at that point that I realize that if I was going to be the star on my big day, I would need someone else besides myself to be the producer.

Diane was all that and more. I refer to her as the Steven Spielberg of wedding coordination. A pioneer in the industry for decades, she is well known and respected amongst the top wedding vendors in the DMV area. She has an intoxicating personality that lights up any room and makes her very easy to work with from the perspective of a bride and from my experience, with vendors as well. Although a people person at heart, Diane is a woman about the business of her bride, professionalism and wedding etiquette I believe are her pillars and she is dedicated to ensuring that your day is exactly how you have envisioned it. Diane was awesome at providing suggestions that would make our wedding day unique. She suggested an alternative to the cliché wedding photo booth that had the guest raving even up to this day. I didn’t worry about a thing on my wedding day; literally all I had to do was show up and look pretty. You often hear horror stories about that one thing that went wrong on a wedding day; it’s usually public and very embarrassing, typically very hard to live down. Well, I’ll say this… I turned into a bridezilla only 2 days before my wedding when I insisted on printing my own escort cards and was greatly disappointed when it didn’t go as such, let’s just say the escort cards didn’t make it to the wedding but the guest made it to their respective tables without a hitch, thanks to Diane and her damage control kit and what I believed was a carefully disguised plan B.

I lived in NYC, my finance at the time lived in Baltimore and the wedding was in College Park, Maryland. As a consultant, my job had me in 5 different states during the wedding planning, to make things even worse, the month before my wedding, I was sent to Dallas, Texas on a project were I lived for 4 days out the week. Diane did such an amazing job setting up appointments and meetings around my busy schedule. When some of the guests came up to me and asked me how I pulled it off, I simply pointed in the direction of my awesome wedding coordinator. She was amazing to work with and she is worth every dime although very reasonably priced. She has a black book of vendors for every budget, she is known, respected and loved by vendors and she gives superb suggestions for making your day one that not just you, but all your guest will never forget. I would recommend Diane George of Covenant Weddings to any bride looking to have someone coordinate and execute your special day as if you were doing it yourself. Diane and the Covenant Wedding team, we thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT DIANE GEORGE!!! She is simply the best. My husband and I obtained Diane's services 10 months before our wedding and she was with me every step of the way. I don't remember which package I booked with her, but I am absolutely sure she did even more than what she was obligated to do! She was truly an invaluable asset during the entire process. I am picky and she helped me select all of my vendors. Her recommendations were excellent because my wedding was absolutely beautiful. It really was everything I had dreamed of and more! She was always available to answer questions and give suggestions and has a ton of ideas to make your wedding really "pop." She is so friendly and easy to work with. You tell her what you want and she makes sure it happens. The week of the wedding I was so stressed out and she checked on my every day to reassure me that everything was going to be fine. I have to say I really don’t know what I would have done without Diane. I had a vision and love to plan events but, I found it difficult to plan my wedding. I second guessed every decision but when I hired Diane she made me confident and really helped me streamline my choices. She was very helpful with making my vision a reality. Diane was always around for me to ask questions, bounce ideas off of, etc. She suggested vendors, I chose them and they pampered me to no end. If there were any wedding day mishaps, I didn't know about them. She and her team swooped in, took over and I was the most beautiful, pampered queen for my wedding day! Although she won't be working with me anymore as a wedding planner (unless my daughter gets married) I have found a friend for life! I Love Diane and you will NOT go wrong with her services! She is a blessing in disguise. I thank God that I chose her services for my life's most personal blessed event!

My wife and I were married in July 2010, and Mrs. Diane George of Covenant Weddings was our coordinator. I'm assuming most grooms/husbands don't write these reviews, but I would be remise if I didn't speak to the superb service and professionalism Diane brings to her work. We had the true blessing of winning a FREE wedding and had Diane as our coordinator. Honestly, I feel like we stole. She was remarkable in every sense of the word. At no point in time did she make us feel like we were getting a free (aka below standard) service; she went above and beyond our expectations. And to my fellas out there (yes ladies, please share this review with your grooms because I know they aren't reading this site), Diane helps you through the process, making it fun and relatively painless. You are sure to have a better appreciation for what it takes to make your wedding day (because it's yours too, sort of) a special/memorable one for your bride. ;-)

Dianne was excellent. Dianne took the time to listen to my requests and where there was room for interpretation she asked questions so she was assured she fully understood my desires. As you know every bride is filled with anxiety and excitement and I was no different. What I loved about Dianne, was she knew how to make me focus when I became anxious. The wedding ceremony was memorable. I did not worry about a thing on my special day because of Dianne's efforts and attention to detail. Wedding days are special and I am thankful that Dianne made sure it was my special day.

Diane George of Covenant Weddings is the best wedding planning service that I have seen in a while. Diane remained with me throughout the entire planning process and executed the wedding day flawlessly. The majority of the vendors that I chose were suggested by Diane. She has extensive list of vendors who are just as great and professional as she. Diane and her staff are professional, courteous, timely, and provide service of excellence. I would recommend Covenant Weddings to anyone in need of a wedding planning service for years to come.

Diane is absolutely wonderful! She is very knowledgeable, well organized and helped keep everything in line the day of the wedding. Her and her staff were professional and courteous and I am sure our wedding would not have been such a success without them. She was there to calm us down when we were stressed with the planning and she really knew her stuff when it came down to the nitty gritty. It was so nice to not worry about anything the day of the wedding. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy our wonderful day knowing that we were in good hands. I can't say enough good things about covenant wedding. Trust me! You wont be disappointed

Saturday, August 11, 2010: Diane, my husband and I cannot thank you enough for everything that you and your staff did to make his 50th Birthday Surprise Party a huge success. You and your staff and all of the vendors we used from your rolodex were amazing. We connected immediately, shared the same vision for the event. They were all very helpful and exhibited a high degree of professionalism. All of our family and friends are still talking about the decorations, the music, the cakes and the skill and attentiveness to detail of the videographer and the photographer to capture all of the "keepsake" moments. My husband and I were blessed to win a FREE wedding which included Diane George of Covenant Weddings as a wedding coordinator. Since a coordinator wasn’t in our budget, we hadn’t planned on hiring one and we really didn’t know what to expect from her at first. Well, we quickly found out how extra blessed we were to have Diane George as our coordinator. We weren’t forced to work with her, but once I had a phone conversation with Diane I knew that we were going to work well together. The work that she does on behalf of the bride and groom is impeccable, from contacting vendors, scheduling and attending appointments, following-up with vendors, and much more beyond your expectations All-in-all she made our process easier and less stressful for sure. Diane is easily accessible via phone or email, day and night, and is quick to respond. It was to a point that we felt like we were the only couple she was working with, which we know wasn’t the case.  She answered all of our questions, and we had a lot! As with anything, there can be some miscommunication with vendors, and Diane would fight/advocate on our behalf as she could for what was right and fair based on what we were told would be provided. With a free wedding you would think that everything would have been smooth and easy, but there were some bumps along the way and Diane was there to assist us during those times. As a bride I wanted and was fortunate enough to have a very involved groom. There were times that he would talk to Diane before I would. So she is more than willing to work with your grooms with any questions they may have along the way as well. Our wedding day was beautiful and of course some minor things happened that we were able to laugh with Diane about later. However, she was good about not letting me know anything so that I would not be stressed on wedding day, and for that I’m thankful. We also can’t submit this review without acknowledging her staff that also assists in making the wedding day go smooth. My husband would like to especially thank them as they decorated our wedding night suite to perfection as a surprise to me.
Lastly, we have learned that if you are looking for a wedding coordinator you should click with him/her on a personal level to ensure that wedding day and everything up to that point is relatively flawless. Diane is a very professional, yet fun and loving person and we can say that after this process she is and will continue to be a friend. For example, we made sure that she was invited to our rehearsal dinner as a guest, not the wedding coordinator, so she could meet our closest family and friends, and we also presented her with a gift as a token of appreciation along with our bridal party. THANKS COVENANT WEDDINGS!

Diane was great under pressure! Due to a storm the night before, the power went out at the venue and she handled everything with ease...I had no idea until the wedding was over!

Upon meeting Diane I knew, without a doubt, she was the planner to go with. Her knowledge, experience, patience and flexibility won me over and she didn't disappoint with her personality either, we clicked upon meeting. She was patient with me, answering all the questions I had, and as a bride I had tons. She took all my phone calls and came out with me on vendor visits...we really appreciated that. We were also very happy with the vendor referrals that she provided us, and choose the majority of vendors based on her referrals. It helped us a lot not having to spend extra time researching vendors. We just did our leg work based on a list already provided. We were happy with all our vendors especially with our florist, baker and videographer. Our wedding day was beautiful and so was our reception....I would do it all over again!
It meant a great deal to us having you to help us begin this sacred chapter in our lives because your spirit was sent to us to get us on this covenat journey...for that, we are eternally grateful.
