Because I couldn't find a make-up artist who was available for my day, I went to MAC Cosmetics a few months prior to my wedding day. If you spend over $50 on cosmetics, they will do your make-up for free and give you a paper explaining how to do your make-up, what make-up goes where on your face, and which make-up was used. The make-up artist did a wonderful job and by referring to the chart paper that they gave me, I was able to do my make-up just like a professional on the day of my wedding (although I practiced several times). I was very impressed with how I did! The only draw back to this is that the make-up is very expensive and adds up quickly! I would recommend doing this and then only buying what you need, such as eye shadows, blushes, and lip liners/sticks. Buy your brushes, moisturizers, and foundation at a cheaper location, such as Shopper's, Walgreens, etc.
