The absolute best!

We had our wedding at The Muckenthaler Mansion and have only great things to say about the venue, catering and overall team. Working with Sheree was amazing. She is great at her job and making sure couples feel comfortable and happy with the venue and catering services. Big S/O to Anthony for taking care of us, our family and friends during our wedding reception. The best of the best! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great Food and Drinks!

We hired Colette's when we had our wedding at The Muckenthaler Mansion since they are the exclusive caterer to the venue. We worked mostly with Sara, who was absolutely wonderful and was able to answer any questions we had. We wanted brunch for dinner at our wedding, and worked with her to make a menu for our tasting. At our tasting, we worked with Duane. It was so hard to pick what we wanted because everything was so delicious! On our wedding day, we unfortunately had food poisoning from my mother-in-law's cooking, so we didn't get to taste the food. However, our guests raved about how delicious the food was, how great the open bar was, and the staff. I would definitely hire Colette's again since they were such a joy to work with.

We had 6 months to plan the wedding and the first and most important decision was the venue. After visiting many locations in OC and LA, we chose Colette's Catering and the Muckenthaler. Without a doubt, we know we made the best decision for us. The location was ideal - as it was central for our guests from all over Southern CA - (IE, OC, and LA). The venue itself is classic, beautiful and incredibly versatile. Its a true "all-in-one" venue to hold different wedding events, we moved our guests seamlessly to each new area - from the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, to dancing. Also, my favorite, was working with Duane and his team. He was incredibly responsive, friendly, warm, and efficient - he has a ton of experience and made the usually stressful process, much more easier for us. He was accommodating to many of my requests and I was impressed that he replied to my emails personally and in a timely manner. Last, but not least - THE FOOD! It really was so delicious. Our guests enjoyed it all- I received compliments from the cake, the steak, the veggie sides, even the salad dressing! OH and the bartenders were amazing. They were incredibly generous and kept the drinks flowing, which made for a very festive time indeed! Overall, we had a great time working with Duane and his team. From the beautiful venue, the professionalism, the flexibility, and quality service and food, we are so thankful that we chose the Muckenthaler.

Duane and Sara are just great! My husband and I got married on 3.8.15 at the muck, And Colette's was just great. They were very helpful through the process, making my husband and I feel special for our big day. They were also very patient with us as we asked many questions. Sara was great as our day of coordinator, she was keeping us on schedule, made sure everything was running smoothly with the vendors, and most importantly made sure we ate. The food was also fantastic. We were told by nearly everyone how it was such a great wedding, the best they've been to, and the drinks and food were amazing, "not typical wedding food." Duane and Sara are just great, and made our vision come to life. Highly recommend!

My husband and I just got married at muckenthaler mansion with Colette's catering last weekend. We had a 6 month engagement and Colette's made everything happen so smoothly. It was the perfect day!!! Duane, Sara and Andrea where amazing!!! I honestly can't say enough nice things about them!!! Also the food and cake was delicious!!! Multiple guests came up to us and said how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The whole experience was a dream come true!!!!!!! ❤️

Wow! Wow wow wow wow wow. There are not enough words in the English dictionary to describe how wonderful the staff is at Colette's. The owner, Mr. Greenleaf is a profoundly kind and calming person. Because of Colette's, I went into my wedding day with 100% confidence that I would have a seamless wedding. Not only did they deliver, they went above and beyond to check on me and my husband throughout the evening to ensure we were cared for and happy. I not only recommend Colette's, I look forward to the next opportunity to work with them in the future. The most bittersweet moment about our wedding was knowing that we wouldn't get to work with these fine people in the next months to come. Thank you Colette's and the Muckenthaler for the most dream-like and romantic wedding I have ever seen!

We met with Colette's at least 10 months before our daughter's wedding on October 12, 2013. We sampled the food, made our choices, and found everything presented and sampled extremely delicious. We wanted a sit down dinner for 156 guests at an outdoor venue. My (MOB) pet peeve is lukewarm or cold food. I made sure Colette's knew my concerns. And, I can happily and confidently say that Colette's served our filet mignon dinner, to 150 plus guests on a cool October evening, hot! Not only was the food hot, but it was excellent! We had several guests tell us that they were blown away by the fact their meals were hot and delicious. Colette's delivered what they promised! The staff was excellent also. They were professional and friendly. We could not have asked for a better experience with a catering company. If and when I ever need to have an event catered again, I will definitely use Colette's Catering.

Duane and the chef brought us each serving but not in little tiny bites, full servings of them so we could really try them and see what we liked. I'm happy to report that the food at the wedding was as good as the food we tried at our tasting. I've heard stories from other brides who felt the food they had at their tasting was way better than what was actually served at their wedding. Not the case for us! I had so many people say it was the best wedding food they'd ever had! I agree!! Also, the cake was fantastic! We had a spice cake with cream frosting and so many people came up to us and said it was the best wedding cake they'd had! Simply delicious! Also, I wanted to surprise my groom with a fun groom's cake and they were wonderful to work with to create a life-size Cincinnati Reds baseball cap. My husband was so surprised and LOVED the cake! It looked just like a baseball cap and all our Ohio guests were impressed with the details Colette put into the cake! It was really cute AND delicious (red velvet cake inside). I highly recommend Colette's Catering--they were a dream team to work with!

Our cake was included in the hotel package from the Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa. We went to Colette's and actually had our meeting with Colette, the owner. I was really surprised and impressed. Everything we tasted was fantastic! We went with Vanilla cake and Vanilla bean frosting. We had a picture of the cake we wanted and they did a great job recreating it! I want to go back every year and have them recreate a little cake, so we can have it on our anniversary. We froze the cake and ate it on one month of being married and it was still delicious! (I had heard if you wait until your one year anniversary the cakes get really gross and taste like cardboard and I wanted to eat my cake!)

I asked Doreen to make my son's 1st birthday cake in November 2012, and I loved it so much that I asked her to make my daughter's 3rd birthday cake a few months later. Both cakes were fabulous, and tasted equally as delicious! We had The Very Hungry Caterpillar theme for my son's birthday, and Doreen offered fun and impressive cake designs that were imaginative and playful. My daughter's cake was a Belle princess cake (in the shape of a princess) that turned out incredible!

Doreen is easy work with, pleasant, and very flexible.

Her cakes are well-executed and simply beautiful.

I strongly recommend Doreen at Colette's Events for any/all your special cake needs!

I would highly recommend this cater for a wedding cake!!! My husband and I were so pleased with the results of our cake!!! It was so beautiful! The cake was exactly what I had imagined and from all my ideas from pictures that I had, they completely satisfied me with making it look like exactly the same. It was amazing and very delicious! I loved the taste of the cake and the different flavors. Very dense and moist. Just the way a cake is supposed to be. I can't wait to celebrate our year anniversary so we can eat the top tier! Well worth the money and I will continue to purchase my cakes from them for future events!!!

Finding Colette's Cake Goddess was such a blessing! Doreen helped us since day one, assisting us in choosing the flavor of the cake, the decoration, the frosting, everything! we knew the cake was going to taste delicious because it reflected a lot of people's effort and our vision; but neither my husband or I ever imagined what an impact it would have on our guest. Everybody loved the cake so much, but they are still talking about it. I did not get a change to eat much the day of, but one thing that I do remember perfectly was the taste of the cake as well. We served it along with mochi ice cream and those two were just made for each other because it made the perfect combination. Our guest and us were truly amazed with the look and taste that of cake.. mmm yumiie, just to think about it. Thumbs up for Colette's, and special thanks to Doreen! thank you thank you! <3

Our wedding cake was very pretty & was the way we wanted. We had a meeting/testing with them & there were plenty of selections to choose from. Colette did not force us or push us to choose right away. In fact, we took a while to complete our choices. My favorite part of the meeting was when she took out a piece of paper and started to design a cake that we wanted. She took in all our suggestions & drew out a very accurate picture. She also took out ribbons to make sure we wanted the colors of our choice to put around the cake. She also made our florals on the cake with sugar. Our cake topper was not the normal statues. It was the bobbling heads & she was able to place it securely and properly on the cake. She is a great cake vendor & definitely would recommend!

Kristen and the entire team from the Muck and Colette’s were hands down the best team I have ever worked with. I don’t have anything to compare it too, but I have seen the horror stories. They took care of everything, from helping my cut cost to save the budget, to last second changes to the tables and needing to change sizes to vary from 8tops to 12tops, I can’t say enough wonderful things about Colette’s, the food is to die for, even if you go on the lower end menu. Everyone say the cake was amazing too, sadly I did not get any. But that’s my own fault, (just got to taste the frosting)

Every bride wants to feel amazing on her day...... Our wedding day was truly magical and I have Kristen to thank for this. We are looking thru pictures now and I am so happy, there is nothing I would have changed.

Colette's Cake Goddess was amazing. First of all when you arrive for the tasting they have over 5-6 different types of cakes, over 10 filling, and 3 icing! we tried them all and it was all so good... too bad we didn't get to really eat the cake on our wedding day but I've heard it was really good! and design was just so beautiful. At your tasting appt. the cake goddess starts sketching your ideas and you leave knowing exactly what you asked for and what you're getting, and let me tell ya, they do deliver in perfection!

The wedding cake was amazing everyone loved it. We choose a chocolate flavor with two fills inside, in the tasting you will have a large selection to choose from. The design included pearls a ribbon and a dimond broach. On the top I had a initial with dimonds, so everything blend in nicely. It looked better than I imagined it. The price is reasonable too.
The cake arrived on time and Colette put the final touches with flowers on site.

My husband and I were married at the Muckenthaler Mansion back in March and by default was teamed up with Colette's since they cover all events at the Mansion. To say I had a great experience would be a mass understatement. Everyone I spoke with/encountered at Colette's was so helpful and kind, even Ms. Colette herself who we had the pleasure of meeting at one of our tastings. Duane Greenleaf and Rick Martin helped my husband and I plan out the details; everything from color scheme to location areas within the mansion and of course the fabulous food! Both Duane and Rick are so talented and experts at their job that as the Bride, I was able to sit back and relax and know that no matter what, it was going to be an amazing wedding, which it was. Originally, we were supposed to have the ceremony at home; however, it poured that day so Rick, who was our wedding coordinator worked with his staff and my vendors to create an elegant ceremony inside. It was so beautiful and I know for the fact none of the guests even knew that the ceremony was supposed to be outside. With regards to the food, expect to be wowed because most likely, you haven't tasted food this scrumptious. Guests kept coming up to me at the wedding saying how delicious the food was and the cake, well it beat out any cake I've tasted before. In a nutshell, my husband and I were able to have a 5 star wedding without the 5 star costs. Colette's and the Muckenthaler provide hard-to-beat costs for their top-of-the-line service and products. The cherry on top was how amazing and fun Duane, Rick and all of the staff at Colette's and the Muckenthaler Mansion. Without all of them, there is no way my dream wedding could have happened. I will FOREVER be grateful for all of them because the most important day of my life was so perfect and better than I could have ever imagined.

Everything about Colette's was simply amazing! The service I recieved from Duane from day one was personalized and informative, I felt from the start that he truely cared about my wedding, I was not just another sale to him. Its now almost 3 weeks after the wedding and I am still hearing from guests how great the food was! It far exceeded my expectations.
Colette's also provided the day of coordinator. I didn't have to worry about any of the details the day of the wedding, Rick took care of everything. Nothing was overlooked!

Our cake was amazing! It was a five tiered cake and they decorated it exactly how I wanted it! We chose red velvet and white cake with cream cheese frosting! It was delicious! Everyone complimented us on our cake and said how moist it was and how beautiful it looked! I was so happy with it! I loved it! Their customer service is was drew me to them and made me schedule a cake tasting appointment. Then when I tasted the cake I knew I had to have their cake at my wedding! Colette's Catering provided the best wedding cake I have ever tasted... and I'm not just saying that because it was mine! Everyone I was in contact with was professional and so nice... and Colette designed our cake herself when we came in for consultation! We are repeat clients of Collette's. She catered my grandfather's wedding and I just had to have her for ours. Collette's Catering was hands down the best. Collette not only planned our menu and made our cake, she went above and beyond and helped with other aspects of the wedding that had nothing to do with the food. We are so grateful that she was there to help us through the planning process. Our food was AMAZING!! The appetizers were a hit with everyone. The plated dinner was fantastic and the desserts were incredible! We told Collette that we didn't care much about what our cake was, yet she still managed to make something that was right in line with what we were thinking. We wanted all different desserts and she came up with great ideas. We had a ton of different mini desserts and she even came up with the idea of a Hot Fudge Sundae Bar which was a total hit.

Collette's staff was the best we have ever seen at any wedding. They were practically invisible when they were serving us, yet whenever we wanted something they were right there to help us and bring us anything we wanted. The bartenders were fantastic and so efficient in serving the ton of people we had. All of her staff were so polite and professional. We would recommend Collette's for everyone we know because nobody tops her food and service.

We met with Colette's 8 months before our wedding to work on the cake design and the dessert platter. She gave us great ideas and suggestions on various options within our budget. We decided on a 3 tier design: chocolate cake with cookies & cream, white chocolate & chocolate truffle filings; lemon cake with raspberry conserve & white chocolate fillings; red velvet cake with raspberry mousse & white chocolate filings. For dessert we selected a 300 piece desserts display. Our wedding coordinator said they were easy to work with. On our wedding day, they delivered on time and we were pleasantly surprised to see Colette. The cake was absolutely beautiful...definitely a show stopper, Colette outdid herself... and it tasted even better. Our guest are still talking about how delicious the cake was! Colette's Catering is an absolutely amazing vendor. They provided me with catering for appetizers, dinner, and cake. The food was wonderful at the wedding. We had tri-tip with provolone potatoes and asian long beans. It was a great meal and my guests seemed to really enjoy it also since all of their plates were pretty much cleared off. Such great flavor and everything was so fresh. No complaints on the food at all. Colette's also did our wedding cake. One word... DELICIOUS. The cake goddess at Colette's made such a beautiful and delicious cake. It was so moist and flavorful. We had almond cake with raspberry preserves on the bottom tiers and lemon cake with raspberry custard on the top tiers with white chocolate cream cheese frosting that was so heavenly. I would have to give Colette's Catering a 10 out of 10 for all of the services that they provided me for my wedding. All of their staff is so helpful and so flexible, not to mention so wonderful to work with. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so delicious and special!

Colette's was very flexible with me and what I wanted to serve. Colette's made the most beautiful wedding cake I've ever seen! I couldn't be more thankful to Teresa Riva, the official Cake Goddess, who not only made the most delicious cake ever (three flavors of cake and 5 flavors of filling!), but the most goregous cake as well. I provided Teresa with pictures of my gorgeous wedding gown and she duplicated the dress EXACTLY!!! My guests were simply spellbound by how gorgeous and intricately detailed the cake was...but they had no problem consuming every last bit of the enormous slices of cake. Colette's is incredibly professional, attentive (the tasting was awesome), and you get the most bang for your buck! Colette's will provide the most amazing cake--you will fall in love with their custome cakes--I promise!!!

Our wedding cake from Colette's was AMAZING! It is a little shop but don't be fooled - the cakes that come out of there are not only beautiful but DELICIOUS. We easily set up a meeting to talk with our cake artist and go over ideas on style, flavors, decoration, base, etc in a matter of an hour or so. The tasting was fantastic - everything they make is delicious and the hardest part was settling on a flavor combination! My husband and I ended up going with a white cake with triple filling layers of white chocolate ganache with fresh strawberries x 2 and 1 filling layer of a cream cheese icing with fresh strawberries - SO GOOD!. The outside was dressed up in fresh buttercream frosting with a beautiful dotted/swirled lacy design that Brooke (our artist) did an amazing job on. Brooke was awesome - flexible, responsive to calls/e-mails, and so much help in getting our cake (in one piece and chilled) to our venue in MALIBU on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON! A big chunk of the $1050 was getting the cake in a refrigerated truck to Malibu but again, awesome that you have the option of having your cake transported in perfect condition. Plus, that $1050 amount led to a three-tiered cake plus a sheet cake that fed 150 and we definitely had leftovers to eat at our wedding brunch the next day which was great because our guests couldn't get enough of our cake and neither could we! Even the top we froze for our anniversary was yummy one year later! Colette's is a fantastic choice for your cake - you won't be sorry!

We chose Colette's because they are the exclusive caterer for our reception site, the Muckenthaler Mansion and Cultural Center. Also, growing up in Brea/Fullerton, I knew Colette's was a great caterer from past events. They also did our wedding cake which was delicious and turned out just the way we wanted it. The cake was included in the package, so that was easy. One of our groomsmen was Vegan and they made a delicious plate up just for him. It was great because he was able to have a whole meal and not just scavange for fruit and veggies. All our guests really enjoyed the food and the service was great. My only complaint is that they took a long time to bring out the slices of cake once we had cut the cake. We didn't notice as we were having a great time dancing, but I heard later that some people never got to taste the cake. I highly recommend Colette's.

We got our wedding catering through Colette's and our experience was very good overall. The food itself was delicious and we had no complaints about the service. Our only minor issue was that we weren't aware that, since we were at a private venue, we would be responsible for renting equipment that it seems like any catering company should already own! So we ended up having to spend a bit more than we first anticipated.

The food was terrific. There was more than enough for the entire reception. The staff was very professional. They melted into walls, or managed to disappear anytime any guest was walking by. They were the invisible people while getting all there work done and they did it well. Kudos to all of Collette's staff (and her).

The cake was absolutely perfect. The bride has been a wedding cake baker for decades. Her cakes were always considered the best. Her comment about the presentation and the flavor was "Wow!" All the guests, and we agreed that the cake was absolutely the best. I can't wait for next year. I hope the cake survives the freezer! Our thanks to a wonderful and professional vendor!

We held our wedding at the beach front property, Pacific Edge Villa in Laguna Beach. Collettes Catering did an AMAZING JOB to give us our dream wedding on August 10, 2010! The food and cake was excellent, and what really impressed us was that our coordinators Sarah Katzka and Duane Greenleaf went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly during our event. When my dad (who has a huge sun allergy) forgot his hat at home, Duane ran out and got him a cool stylish hat that even matched his suit! He looked great when he walked me down the isle. ;) Sarah even helped my mom and sister to bustle my dress when they couldn't figure it out. Whatever issue arose, they deal with it accordingly and made sure that we enjoyed our day! The entire staff was very friendly and service minded, we could see our guests enjoying themselves and so were we! We are very happy that they were our caterers for our wedding and will definitely recommend them to everyone!!!

Incredible and Attentive!

I can't say enough good things about the Duane and the lovely people at Colette's. It started from the first phone call we had with Duane when he really tried to get to know us and help us figure out exactly what we did and didn't want. Next came the tasting and the food did not disappoint. We asked for a few tweaks to our menu and all of it was executed with perfection and professionalism. They were incredible on the day of as well, making sure everything was perfect. I got so many comments about the food and how amazing it was! They were very easy to work with and appreciate everything they did!

Duane and Jenny were absolutely fantastic. The main reason I picked this venue (Muckenthaler Mansion) although they do cater some other venues is because I wanted a package where I didn't have to do a lot of planning. They handled catering, day of coordination, set-up and basically rentals (tables, chairs, linens, serveware). I only needed a florist and additional decor. I was able to drop off all my decorations the day before and Jenny made sure everything was perfectly placed. Duane was readily available the day of wedding - popping champagne in the bridal suite, putting on my husband's boutonniere, and making sure we were taken care of. Our guests raved about the food and how beautiful the location was. Thank you Colette's for a memorable event!

Collette’s was the third of four bakeries we visited when sampling cakes for our August 27, 2011 wedding.

We selected Collette’s because all of their cakes tasted marvelous!! We ended up doing with two flavours – red velvet with a raspberry filling and then vanilla with a hazelnut filling.

One thing that was great about Collette’s is that they were able to completely sketch out and draw our cake how we wanted it whilst sitting in the room. (They have some great art skills!) It was so wonderful during our consultation to see our cake come to life. They were super helpful along the process too - as we had specific ribbon we wanted to put on our cake.

One the day of the wedding, my husband and I received both slices of cake. I honestly could have devoured the entire red velvet tier myself, if my dress had that much breathing space. It was phenomenal! The vanilla layer was good, too, but the hazelnut was a little strong for my taste. My guests (including my mum) had it – and said it was great. And I trust my mum’s opinion that she wasn’t just being nice 

Our cake looked wonderful. It was one of our favourite things about the wedding! (as soon as I get professional photos, I’ll post!)

I purchased my wedding cake from this vendor and LET ME JUST SAY, IT WAS A HIT! AMAZING!!!!!!! The cake was way out of my budget, though I could not find another bakery that tasted the way Colette's Cake taste. I've used them before for other events and have always thought expensive so it's for VERY special occasions that I use them. They got my idea down to a T! I said I want this kind of cake and they NAILED IT! And the TASTE, I can go on and on about how soft, moist, flavorful their cakes are. Design was amazing. Everyone now (almost 1 yr later) still says my cake was awesome, the look, the taste and I have people asking all the time where I purchased it. I would definitely use Colette's again, it's just unfortunate how pricey they can be for even something small. But, I guess you get what you pay for @ a high price, and well worth it. I rated value @ 4.5 only because their extremely high pricing, other than that, like I said AMAZING! If you can afford an EXPENSIVE cake, call Colette's. I'm telling you though, well worth the money spent.

Kristen was wonderful to work with -- very organized & responsive to every e-mail and accommodating to make the menu just right for our small beachside wedding. Working with Duane Greenleaf at Colette's Catering was AWESOME!! He made the whole process leading up to the wedding pretty stress free and I knew that the event would be in good hands. Only a few things that I would make note of, just because they weren't exactly the way I wanted...

(1) The middle tier on the cake was supposed to be white cake with chocolate mousse, and it ended up red velvet (which I am not a fan of). Not a big deal because we weren't able to cut/serve the middle tier anyway, but a little annoyed that it was not what I had ordered. Other than that, the cake was perfect! LOOKED AWESOME and the chocolate tasted amazing! And.. my mom took home the red velvet and said it was delicious.. so I guess not a big deal.

(2) I had made it clear that I wanted a king table set-up in the middle of the reception area for the bridal party and NOT a sweetheart table... but when we arrived there was a sweetheart table and no king table. My sister/maid-of-honor and some other relatives went to make sure that it was set up for the wedding, but I was a little annoyed that she had to manage that. Especially because I had mentioned several times that I wanted the king table and sent back a schematic of how it was to be set up. But again, once it was done, the event went by swimmingly.. and I didn't even know she had to do that until the end of the night.

Overall, great service from Colette's. And the wait staff the night of the event was absolutely perfect.

The Muckenthaler has that charm that most wedding venues are missing nowadays. We knew we didn't want to do the standard country-club wedding, and we wanted to have both the ceremony and reception at the same venue. The Muck provided us with that, along with a beautiful setting for our big day. The grounds make for a gorgeous wedding. We hosted the ceremony in their palm tree garden, dinner inside the art gallery, and dancing and cocktails outside on their patio. It was perfect for us. We got so many compliments from people about how beautiful everything was. And on top of that, they work exclusively with Colette's Catering, so they really have the process down. We trusted that everything would work out with them, and it was fabulous.

Colette's food was absolutely delicious! We got so many compliments on our dinner...My only complaint there was that we'd actually ordered the beef with marsala sauce...and for some reason, it never arrived? It didn't matter much--no one noticed but the hubby and I.

And the CAKE?! Their cake is AMAZING. Theresa--who is Colette's "Cake Goddess", totally understood exactly what we wanted for our cake, and she nailed it. We had song lyrics about love written all around our cake. She made it look so beautiful and professional--we were in LOVE with it. And then...we ate it! Which was equally awesome. The cake was so moise and perfect. We loved it--I will order cakes there in the future, for SURE!!

Duane was awesome to work with! He was so flexible with our wants and needs in terms of the way we wanted things set up and with the food. The menu choice was pretty good and we loved our food. We had chicken, mixed vegetables, a salad, and garlic bread. Everybody said they really enjoyed the food. They were so professional and everything looked so beautiful!!!! It was also nice to have someone provide all of the tables, chairs, and china so we didn't have to worry about that.

The cake was tasty and looked beautiful - the only criticism is that i wanted a few fondant daisies on the edges and they ended up being hard frosting unrealistic - 1 dimensional flowers.

The size, taste (most important), and shape of the cake was lovely. Loved the vanilla cake w/apricot filling.

My husband and I got married at Muckenthaler Mansion. From the minute we drove up and saw the mansion, we loved it! Beautiful place, inside and out. Guests enjoyed the art work inside. We had our ceremony in the Italian Garden, followed by cocktail hour on the patio, then a buffet dinner inside the gallery. Could not be happier with this location. Provided our ceremony chairs, linens, tables, flatware. Colette's has amazing food, all of our guests raved about dinner. Their presentation of dinner was elegant and not what I've seen in the past for buffets at weddings. Our cake was the most delicious cake I have ever tasted and the design they did was gorgeous. Our cake looked just like fondant but was just icing- helped to cut down on costs. Colette's staff is extremely friendly but can sometimes be disorganized. Keep all your notes, stay on top of things, get everything in writing!! Overall, was happy with their service, food presentation, food quality, and friendliness.

My wedding was held at the Muck this year (2010) First of all the food that Collete's provided was SUPERB! everyone loved the food-super tasty!! My brother - who's critical of EVERYTHING even loved the food!! The cake was AWESOME and teresa the cake goddess did and amazing amazing job!!!! The Service personnel that collette's hired was EXCELLENT!! VERY professional VERY attentive to the guests...all the guests commented that they felt very served!!! no lacking in water service, hors de vors service, and food service!!! The staff even took the time to bring me hors de vors while i was roaming about the grounds with my groom and the photographer taking pictures!!! I TOTALLY wasn't expecting that!!!

With that said the sales rep handling my particular event (the "coordinator") was only so-so. However, my bridesmaids and I concluded that she must have been new as she seemed very green and slightly inexperienced. She was a very sweet and nice girl!! Super nice! But something seemed a little lacking....although im not quite sure what...perhaps I was expecting too much?

But overall....Collette's is definately worth it!!

Biggest Mistake we ever made to order a cake from Colette's Cakes. We had historically had a wonderful experience with ordering birthday cakes from this place, however they let us down on our wedding day. I showed them a photo of a cake with beautiful cascading petals and they promised they could deliver. On our wedding day, the cake looked nothing like the photo and our florist had to add extra flowers to make up for the bare look our cake had. It was the worst thing we had happen, and no one really cared (except for us of course)...but when you are paying for something so expensive, and the vendor promises to deliver, then they should be able to deliver. I also contacted Colette at a later date via email and she wrote back via email that she believed the cake turned out great...This was untrue because they have a photo of the before and after and know it was an absolute fabrication to say the least. We used to spend lots of money at colettes on birthday cakes, and special occasion cakes...after the wedding outcome - NEVER again. If colette had at least been willing to address our concern we would have understood that mistakes happen, but as a result of the poor service, we do not recommend them. Be careful and make sure you will get exactly what you ask for if you use them.

Colette's catering ruined my daughter's wedding. The food was tasteless, refrigerator cold, and the service was painfully slow. STAY FAR AWAY. Do not use this vendor for something so important as a wedding. Sadly, I will have this memory for the rest of my life.

The end result was beautiful but the process was a nightmare. No organization. Made a lot of errors and did not provide a cake stand- which we payed for. Save yourself the headache and use another bakery for your cake
