Phenomenal service . Flawless execution and fabulous food! not to mention access to the best and most beautiful historic venues in the capital district!

Thank you to the entire Classe' team for making our reception absolutely wonderful! We had an amazing time working with everyone to create the perfect day! The food was incredible, service was amazing, and the decorations were exactly what I had envisioned! Everything was perfect.

I was at a wedding that this company catered. Ill agree with most of the reviews here that the waitstaff was very good. The food however, was definintely NOT! Overcooked beef, undercooked pasta. We went out for pizza after the wedding because we were hungry. Our entire table complained. I hope the bride at least got some kind of refund. Also, dont know who the woman was straightening up tables but she presented herself as if she couldnt have been bothered to be there.

You absolutly must use these guys its a one stop shop they did our cake and flowers (witch were gorgeous) and the design of the venue as well as the food. There hor derves are so tastey and elegant. Aimee there designer was fantastic to work with she took my ideas and transformed our venue in to the exact picture i my head. and emily the event coordinater went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. there waiters catered to our every need all night and were so nice!!! go to a tasting and try their chicke wonton and there tomato bisque and im sure youll see they are the best!

Everyone at Classe was an absolute pleasure to work with. They came highly recommended and they were even better than our high expectations! When I arrived at my parents home to see the bar set up at the cocktail tent and saw Emily there to greet our guests with champagne, everything was better than I had imagined. Fast forward two hours to the pumpkin soup served in carved out pumpkins, and I think our guests were in agreement - the food was fantastic. It was an unexpected surprise to have Brian, the President of the company, as our event manager for the evening, and you could tell he cared deeply about our guests having a great time. All of the servers were fun, polite and helpful, and the food was simply amazing! A huge thank you to Brian, Emily and crew for turning our dream into a reality!

We had a really good time working with Kathy King and the rest of the Classe team. And our guests loved the food! The best part was the day-of coordinator/assistant we worked with, Zev. He was such a joy, and was one of the best parts of the best day of our lives!

We worked with Kathy at Classe Catering and could not have been happier. Kathy helped us design a unique menu that completely fit our venue and overall feel of our wedding. She has such a warm and also professional approach that made working with her such a positive experience. She does not miss a beat as well. She really spoiled us on the wedding day, taking care of every detail, so that we could really enjoy the day. And we did!! Hire Classe (Kathy King especially), you will not be disappointed!

Classe is probably the best catering deal in the Capitol District.

The night of our reception, service was impeccable, the food was fantastic and they even brought food to us while we were taking pictures so we actually got to eat appetizers which is always a bonus!

Leading up to the wedding, I did have a really hard time getting ahold of people. I found that email was much better than trying to get ahold of people on the phone. I mostly had a hard time just getting copies of my contract and actually making payments (they were also having some phone problems I think- I kept trying to call to pay over the phone and they'd try and transfer me and hang up on me... this happened more than 4 times.)

Food was very very good though, the service at our event was unbeatable and the price was a full 3k less than another caterer we met with. Overall, I would hire them again. The little frustrations with getting ahold of people were definitely outweighed by how wonderful they were to our guests and ourselves and what we got for our money.

We did a lot of searching for a caterer for our wedding and are really glad we chose to go with Classe. Emily was fantastic and super helpful in planning and getting ready for the wedding.The food was amazing and they had a great selection- we were able to pick something for everyone. My parents are still getting compliments about how it was the best meal people have ever had at a wedding. Their service was fantastic as well. One of my bridesmaids had a gluten allergy so I got a special cupcake for her- classe let me drop it off the day before and all I had to do was tell them her name and they made sure she got it.
We highly recommend classe to anyone who needs a caterer!

I've worked for a number of caterer's for over 20 years, so my expectations were high. I was an extremely detail oriented bride and Brian at Classe assured me it would be perfect. Our wedding planner left the industry two months before our wedding and I was terrified, but they made the transition seamless. Our guests raved about the white sangria signature drink, the cocktail hour food presentation was amazing, and dinner service was perfect. ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations, we were very happy!

Classe Catering never ceased to amaze with it s top notch personal service day of and attention to detail and support leading up to the event. I cannot say enough about the humble service of each of the servers all the way up to the company s owner. Our vision was swiftly executed by the incredibly detailed and heartfelt Aimie Wockenfuss. We could not have calmly made it to a day without her assurance and confidence. I will use Classe for any and every event I have in the coming years, I have already recommended them with the highest regard to anyone who will listen. Classe Cateriing did a wonderful job catering our wedding on Saturday, July 21. The service was very good and staff extremely cordial. It was an outdoor wedding so there were many facets to consider and they were all attended to prompty and professionally. Actually, they went over and above by offering refreshments before the service and setting up over 100 charis on the hillside. We would definitely use them again and strongly recommend them.

From the moment we contacted Classe Catering we were introduced to Shelly Yeager. Shelly was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She made us feel very comfortable! Attention to detail was extremely important to us and she went above and beyond our expectations. Her professionalism and knowledge of event planning was incredibly valuable in making my wedding a huge success. Her staff was courteous, accommodating and helpful in every way. Our guests are still complimenting us on what a beautiful wedding it was. The chef attended pasta station was a huge hit! From the antipasto platters to the past hor's dourves, everything was fresh and delicious! We highly recommend using Classe Catering for your event!!

This is a hard review to write.

Although my venue recommended them highly I still was hesitant to book them because of the lack of responsiveness to any phone calls, emails, ect. After I contacted Brian (the owner) about it, he assured me that I would get some answers. Which I did within 24 hours. To be honest they came so highly recommend by my venue I just thought it was a fluke. But as time went on and the more things seemed to again be pushed aside. We went for the group tasting anyway and Johnathan was super helpful. Even though we didn’t really have anything at the tasting that we were ordering for our meal we were happy with what they had. (I personally think group tastings are like test driving a minivan but you want to buy and SUV, why would you eat something you were not going to order?) Despite all the red flags we booked with them.

For the following year, it was a constant battle of getting answers in a timely manner. The “quote” that they gave us kept changing, on what seemed like to the mood the sales person was in that day. After paying almost in full for our deposit they told us that anything under a certain line item on the quote needed to be paid to another company (which was more $). After choosing to use another company (one I worked with before) for those items because it seemed a little unreasonable in price, they told me it’s actually the same company as Classe but they wanted another payment for the items. (in all fairness it does say in very small print that anything under that category is not included and would be billed to another company, but it seemed very dishonest to put it on a quote and then realize you are billed more money after. And at the tasting to be told everything is included in the quote; yes the quote, just not the final price. It was confusing and frankly annoying to have to ask questions over and over and never get an answer until they want to get paid)

I never felt that they really cared about anything except for money. Communication was so awful that all that I could do is pray that they would serve food and do set-up correctly. My fiends (who all work in hospitality) all were pitching in to make sure that the tables were set up correctly. My sales person said she would be there on Thursday to set up for Friday and then she never came. There seemed to be no communication to the staff that did come to my rehearsal to set up my tables early so that I could do my centerpieces. Thank goodness for my friends and family for all helping after the rehearsal dinner. I will say Jonathan who works for them was a super star (but you can only be as good as you are told to be, he had no clue because the sales office never told him, but he jumped right in when he knew what needed to be done).

The day of the wedding I felt like my family was doing more set-up and details than the caterer, which was not fair to them at all. We ordered a special salad that was not one that they had done before and I felt like they never even tested it out. I did not come out very well at all. Also from the time that our meal came to our last guest was FOREVER. As we were going outside to see the fireworks, I realized that two whole tables were still waiting on food! A good 45-50 minutes later after us. (And we had less than 100 guests).
Although none of our guests complained to us (why would they, it’s our special day). We felt like our expectations kept getting lower and lower and still not being met. I can’t say the food was bad or the wait staff. I can’t say it was great either. If I had it to do over I would pay double to use someone else. Lesson learned, go with your gut instinct before someone else’s recommendations.

We asked all around to find the best caterer for our wedding and everywhere we turned the name "Classe Catering" kept popping up. We met with them, were very impressed with the sales pitch and signed a contract.

After we had an agreement, everything that could go wrong... did. I really feel the need to separate the staff who worked the day of the event from our representative for planning the wedding. The waitstaff who worked our wedding were phenomenal, friendly, and exactly what we would have hoped for.

The communication with our representative was atrocious. We have both worked for many years in the service industry and I wouldn't accept this level of customer service in even the most basic retail or fast food environment. Once they had us on the hook for thousands of dollars, we were just an account to them. There was nothing personal about this business, nor were we ever in constant contact with our vendor... despite countless attempts to communicate.

Emails went unanswered for weeks at a time and all we received after a third, fourth, or fifth attempt when we finally would speak to someone were excuses.

We were absolutely raked over the coals, treated like garbage, and ripped off. Not only would I not recommend Classe Catering to a friend, but I feel strongly that I am obligated to tell every couple that I know who begins planning a wedding to stay as far away from this company as possible.

What Classe Catering provided for "service" throughout our wedding planning was shameful.

We worked with Classe for our wedding at the Pruyn House, and were so happy with the way everything turned out! Both of our parents commented on how impressed they were with the service, and we loved the food. We worked with Shelly, and she was always easy to get in touch with, and quick to respond to our emails, and she made sure everything turned out the way we wanted it.
