I was looking for a limo bus to accommodate my large bridal party on November 12th, 2011 and Celebrations was definitely the way to go. They were super easy to work with and made my wedding super stress free. I have never had that much fun on a limo bus in my entire life and my bridal party didn't even want to leave to go to the reception, it was so amazing! The bus driver was amazing and made sure my dress never hit the ground, had a red carpet, and was always making sure we were happy and ok. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

we picked a date that was in off season and was cancelled by another couple which allowed us to get top dollar choices for next to nothing price! Marie Elyse was the best coordinator there was! She was even there emotionally for me when I had to take a back seat to planning when my father passed away.

Amazing, spectacular and the best wedding reception ever, this is what was said about my reception at celebrations. Everything was great, but the food was outstanding. Marie-Elise is great, outstanding and extremely helpful, along with all the staff at celebrations, if you have any reservations, please rest assured it will be perfect! The care to make our wedding special was appreciated. I really have nothing but overwhelming postive reviews!

I was referred to Celebrations by a few co-workers and also saw reviews online. We had a very limiited budget as we were paying for our wedding on our own but figured it wouldn't hurt to check them out, though I thought they would be way out of our league. I was so pleasently surprised at how willing they were to work with our limited budget. They suggested a Thursday wedding to make it work for our price range. Though a Thursday wedding sounded odd, we were able to get the fantastically elegant wedding we wanted for a fraction of the cost of a weekend wedding. I am so happy that we chose Celebrations! They were so fantastic and were very attentive to my husband and I all night. The dining room looked phenominal and everyone raved about the food and venue all night long, and even for weeks to follow!

I could have not found a better place to have our wedding. James was very professional and helped us get every detail exactly how we wanted it. The food was incredible and the staff was excellent, they treated all our guest respectfully. I think we paid a reasonable amount for everything we had. We chose to have a family style dinner with four different selections, sushi bar, meat carving station, alcohol on the tables, open bar for 7 hours, chocolate fountain and they let us have our reception until 2am, which alot of places wouldn't allow it past midnight. We also had an ice sculpture, limo, wedding cake included in the price. Hands down the greatest place to have your wedding reception.

We planned our wedding in a very short 4 months, stumbled upon their website online and we are so glad we did. The site is just breath taking, the details and service were by far the best of any wedding I have ever experienced even as a guest, and we were proud that it was ours. I couldn't have expected more, I felt like a princess, and my husband worry free. I would suggest this place to anyone. Our guest couldn't believe the way the staff treated them and the food was by far impressive, all the way down to a chilled salad fork. My husband can't wait to have an anniversary party there. You would never know we didn't plan this wedding a year in advance they just made it so easy and worry free, couldn't have asked for a better day or memory.

Loved them If you are the type of bride that doesn't want to get bogged down with details, celebrations is for you. Its like having a venue and wedding planner in one. They know their stuff!

Celebrations was a huge help in the planning process. Any questions that we had were always answered quickly. The price per person was also the best we were able to find in the Philadelphia area. The only few things that I wasn't happy with was that the bridal suite wasn't cleaned well, and no one brought the bridal party any food during the cocktail hour. We were busy taking pictures and by the time the reception started, we all were starving. I would recommend Celebrations to people to ask.

We recently had a wedding at Celebrations and wanted to provide a review for future couples looking for a venue.

THE GOOD STUFF
- The staff is truly excellent. Many of our guests took the time to tell us how polite, efficient and great everyone was. There is no question that the staff (especially Linda) are all on point and great at what they do.

- The food was absolutely delicious. From soup to nuts, the food was top notch. Zero complaints here.

- The place is really beautiful. Super clean, elegant and tasteful deco.


THE STUFF WE DIDN'T CARE FOR

- The food tasting hours are so limited that we had to forego it completely. They would not cater to our work schedule (which is a 9-5) at all. The bride/groom should always be and feel accommodated- after all, you're spending thousands of dollars here. As compared to our other friends who recently married elsewhere, they were all happily accommodated by their venue for food tastings. Not at Celebrations.

- We would have appreciated more details on certain things. For example, having never planned a wedding before, we didn't know to ask exactly what type of cake is FREE….vs….paying extra. When we went to Hornberger's Bakery for our “free cake included in the package”, they don't tell you that it is a VERY basic cake. Anything fancy or even little extras, you have to pay for.

- If your final head count does not meet the room minimum, you still have to pay for a meal per head. This is understandable, BUT you don't get to take the food to go! So, you pay for something you don't even get. Again, a few couples we know who recently married elsewhere went home with a ton of food they PAID for. Not at Celebrations.

- Typically, when searching for wedding venues the price is discussed in person or possibly given to you via email communications....either way, it's done privately. After we booked....less than a few months later, prices were discounted with free chair covers offered, AND it was all listed on the website for all to see. Thumbs down to that! You would think you lock in a lower price to book early, guaranteeing them money – nope – wait til the last minute here and you get a much better deal. We understand it's a business and they're looking to make money, but those discounted deals should not have been publicly displayed. Tacky and a slap in the face to us and anyone who booked early.

- The bar is located in the cocktail room, not in the reception room. At first, we didn't think it was a bad thing…but throughout the night we realized it was. It created a HUGE DISCONNECT between the actual reception/dancing and getting drinks. Not to mention, the reception doors were kept closed the entire time, so people would go out to get drinks and mingle out there, not returning into the reception room because they were chatting. To us, the bar needs to be where the action is and in the same room as the reception.

Overall - our wedding was BEAUTIFUL and Celebrations was nice. However, if we could do it all over again, we probably would not choose Celebrations as our wedding venue.

At first I was suspicious about Celebrations; for one thing, it seemed too good to be true! For another, everyone was so...nice! And glittery! It almost felt like a scam lol!! But we got one of their packages at a reduced rate, and whenever we had changes or questions they were always quick to accommodate us.

On the limo ride to the reception I got a call asking if we were providing trays for the brownies we were having (instead of a wedding cake). I remembered that we had discussed that at the time of the tasting, but then I had forgotten and never heard back from the bakery so it was completely erased from my brain! Celebrations totally understood and quickly solved the problem.

They made sure we had a great time, they coordinated with our other vendors, and they backed off during the wedding day so that we were free to enjoy ourselves. They were professional, provided excellent service, and our party was completely impressed!

I would definitely recommend using them! They recommend vendors, and you can take it or leave it: the vendors are decent and familiar with the site so that is a plus, but it is okay to pick your own vendors outside Celebrations facility.

They definitely made our wedding perfect :)

Wow is all I can say! My husband and I were just married at Celebrations on Nov 7th, 2010. This was truly my dream wedding!

All the staff was attentive to our needs. Our maitre d and captain AMY and TINA were awesome and made sure we had everything we asked for. Marie Elise, James and Frank were all so helpful through out the whole planning process! Marie Elise i especially thank you for your reassurance that everything would be taken care of , and I would have not worries! You were right I had no worries everything turned out beautiful!

The FOOD was excellent!!!!!!!! I had so many people raving about how good the food was. Not just one thing but all of the food. OMG it was delicious and those carrots (whew)...lol You guys should have a restaurant...lol I am sorry but the food was out of this world!

You definately get what you pay for at Celebrations and more! Again thank you all for making our day the most memorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We couldn't be happier with the wedding we had at Celebrations. From start to finish they made me feel at ease and the entire reception turned out beautifully. The food was superb and the staff was more than accomidating. Despite the large number of weddings they do, I still felt that I was their number one priority. I had so many compliments on how wonderful everything turned out. Even in the middle of our reception when we realized our DJ didnt have a limbo stick the owner personally found us one. Even the little things like putting covers over our food so they wouldnt get cold while we greeted our guests meant so much. They were so helpful and willing to work within our budget to make the day perfect. The owner has also made improvements to update the facility such as soundproofing the walls between the 2 reception rooms and adding a lighting fixture into the ceiling to accomodate for dancefloor light design. I would reccomend any future bride to have their wedding at Celebrations!

I cannot say enough about this place. My daughter and son in law were both deployed during the planning phases of her wedding. I had to do it myself. Marie Elise was awesome with her suggestions and help in making this a dream for both my children. You will be amazed at what they offer and the price was very reasonable. So many comments from my guests that it was one of the most elegant receptions they every attended.

My husband and I got married 18 days ago and I could have not imagined a more amazing setting to have my wedding ceremony and my reception. The staff at Celebrations went far and beyond my expections. The day that we arrived at Celebrations for the wedding the fountain was not working but in place of that they gave us some added perks to make up for the fountain being broken. The food was amazing and melted in your mouth. This is a great place to hold your ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend Celebrations to any future bride and her husband.

We decided to go with Celebrations because of the wedding package they offered. So much was included in our price, from center pieces to ice sculpture to our wedding cake to color napkins to match our wedding party. The staff is just amazing and so professional, they really do make your wedding dreams come true. We got an awesome deal because we booked over a year in advance, we would have never got a deal like this anywhere else. The food was just outstanding too. Great choice if your looking for an all inclusive package with an awesome staff!
