I have used Catering by Seasons on 5 separate occasions for different types of gatherings. I cannot even begin to tell you how much this company embodies professionalism and integrity - and somehow they are able to hire the NICEST staff in the world. Listen, the proof is in the pudding - 5 out of 5 successful events. You know your event is successful when the guests are super complimentary and walk away happy...but you know what really tells you that your event was successful? When YOU (the host) actually has a great time at your own party!!!! That is the ultimate test and this is where the staff at Catering by Seasons excels. The staff makes it a mission to allow the host peace of mind and to have a good time. Oh and the FOOD....my goodness!!! I have not had one item that I did not like. The team is so creative and provides high quality ingredients in their culinary creations. They are great at working within your budget and give you excellent ideas. Seriously, run - don't walk - to this caterer for your next event- big or small! -

We had the pleasure of working with Catering by Seasons for our recent ACA Board Meeting, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, their team demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and impeccable attention to detail.
The rooftop lunch was a standout highlight—beautifully presented, thoughtfully curated, with several selections. Every element, from the freshness of the ingredients to the seamless service, reflected a high level of care and expertise. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and we received numerous compliments on both the food and the overall experience.
What truly sets Catering by Seasons apart is their commitment to making events feel effortless for their clients. The team was responsive, accommodating, and ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to focus entirely on our meeting and guests.

Outstanding professional catering services!
Catering by Seasons made our wedding day so special!
From our first conversation with Glynis it was clear that we had found the right person who would listen to us and work with us to make our vision for our wedding come true.
Glynis was creative and flexible and gave us suggestions that went beyond catering to elevate the entire experience while paying attention to costs. We felt that we had a true partner. In multiple instances she took on roles that went beyond the caterer's role just to help move things along.
On our wedding day, Catering by Seasons executed the set up and catering of the cocktail hour and the reception flawlessly. The reception sites looked beautiful, all the food was tasty, the cake was gorgeous, and we relaxed and enjoyed the reception as much as our guests.
We really appreciated the entire experience and Glynis and Catering by Seasons exceeded our expectations! -

Glynis and the Catering by Seasons team were a knockout success for our son's recent Bar Mitzvah celebration. Glynis heard what we were looking for from the start and came up with a creative and delicious plan that reflected exactly what we hoped for. Most importantly, our son has Celiac and eats a strict gluten-free diet that is free from cross-contaminated cooking surfaces, etc. Our son was ultimately able to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah with food he loved and that was 100% safe for him to eat. Glynis, we are grateful! -

So grateful for their help, I worked with Glynis and Colleen. We had a very fast turnaround (5-6 weeks) and I appreciated their flexibility with my tight timeline. We really enjoyed working with Glynis and Catering by Season. We reached out to her on a recommendation just 2 month before our wedding. Not only did the team accommodate but they had the best taste testing and at the best price. At our wedding, the food tasted better than at the tasting, Glynis and team genuinely wanted to provide the best service they could throughout the whole process. Not only would we use them again, but we doubt I'd even entertain the idea of using other caterers. -

Exquisite food, service, and experience
Glynis and the entire team at Catering by Seasons went above and beyond to make our celebration like no other. From the menu selection to the tasting they made thoughtful suggestions and listened to our preferences and requests. Menu items were inspired, creative, and most importantly beyond delicious. On the day of, the passed h'ors deourves were presented beautifully and a hit with our guests. The stations and plated meals received raves, as did the desserts. As an event planner in Higher Education in the DC area, I have worked with many, many caterers and vendors, and can state unequivocally that La Prima is one of the best if not #1. Rasheda Clark, the Event Sales Manager is knowledgeable, accessible and extremely attentive to detail. From the smallest meeting where catering is being dropped off, to the largest event of 2500 guests, Rasheda, and the rest of the La Prima team have done an outstanding job with all of my events every single time!

She will facilitate, catering, floral arrangements, entertainment, and work within your budget in order to make your event special. I can’t adequately convey how wonderful Catering by Seasons was to work with and how lovely everyone was. Our original caterer cancelled on us five weeks before our big day (I do not and will not recommend Saint Germaine Catering). I called Catering by Seasons while sobbing and on the verge of a breakdown and was lucky enough to be connected to their VP, Leeanne. She and her team worked absolute magic and made it their goal to erase the bad vibes from our previous caterer. Their menu is not only vast, but if you have a recipe that you love, their chefs will learn to make it! The food was absolutely amazing and our guests were raving about it for weeks.
Also, I specifically wanted dumplings for one of our hors d’oeuvres, and Chef Scott absolutely delivered. He further earned our hearts by handing us a to-go container FULL of dumplings when our reception was over. They were absolutely essential post after-party! -

Catering By Seasons was absolutely perfect for our wedding at Aix La Chapelle on 9/4/22. Being on a farm, we loved to incorporate farm-to-table recipes and because of our setup, Glynis's suggestion of serving dinner in a family style way turned out amazing. Throughout the past year, almost everyone we talk to about our wedding mentions how good the food was, with the homemade ravioli as the biggest hit. Glynis made sure we were perfectly happy with the menu, gave us expert advice on what goes well together, went above and beyond to accommodate vegan and gluten dietary restrictions, and did an amazing job talking to our guests about the food at our wedding. And to top it all off, our desserts could not have been any better. -

Excellent Full Service Caterer
We had the wedding celebration of our dreams thanks to Catering by Seasons! From day one, Glynis was flexible and provided the perfect solution allowing us to blend our cultures through food. Glynis suggested jointly catering with IndAroma to provide the traditional Indian cuisine/vegetarian dishes we desired, and it was perfect! She curated the rest of our menu to eloquently blend our appetizers and other dishes to complement our Indo-American cuisine and ensure our guests had many food options they could enjoy. Glynis worked with us to suggest table linens/service ware that would provide the perfect accompaniment for our décor. Day of, Catering by Seasons team kept everything running perfectly even when less than ideal scenarios. The team professionally adapted to weather and delivery challenges to ensure we had the day we imagined. Our guests complemented the excellent service, varied seating options, and amazing food throughout the event and after. We are so happy we had the pleasure to work with Glynis and her team to plan and deliver the celebration of our love for our friends and family. -

Great food and desserts!
Catering by Seasons, and in particular Alberto and Glynis, were absolutely wonderful partners for our wedding reception! They stuck with us through 2 COVID reschedules and helped us stay on top of everything food related. When it came to our final, long-awaited day, Glynis helped us update our two-year-old menu to reflect seasonal food and their latest and greatest offerings, not to mention an incredible dessert table that everyone raved about! She gave us fantastic advice based on her industry experience, helped steer us towards things that would work well for our space and guests, and helped us finalize our choices without pushing us in a particular direction. We highly recommend working with this team! -

Glynis catered my daughter's wedding on 4/30/23. We are all foodies and the food she provided was outstanding. From presentation, to quantity to quality Glynis hit every mark. When people go to a wedding they are usually resigned to eating standard "wedding food". Not with Glynis and Seasons...the food at the wedding was like dining at a gourmet restaurant and everyone's taste buds were dancing all night! Glynis and Seasons made my son's Bar Mitzvah an event to remember!
Quite simply, wow! Glynis and her team from Seasons truly made our son's Bar Mitzvah celebration at AMP by Strathmore an event our family and friends will remember for many years to come. Glynis worked us to create a menu and setting that reflected to ski lodge theme we envisioned. The staff was prompt and professional, the food was all so tasty and the cocktails were delicious! I did not have to worry about anything thanks to Glynis, who even put up with my late evening texts about the menu. The mushroom bisque shooters, the mini chicken pot-pies and the butternut squash raviolis were some of my personal favorites. Major thanks to Seasons for helping to make this an incredible night for our son! -

Catering by Seasons handled my son's Bar Mitzvah actually but I think that leaving a review here shows their range of capabilities. Glynis was professional and discussed my vision. We worked within a budget and they handled everything from the linens and glassware to the food and service. We had a tricky set up with two rooms and dessert being set up while brunch was happening along with a tight timeline of events. I was most concerned about lines at the buffett but Glynis considered that in the set up and there were nearly none. It went very well. Guests raved about the food and Glynis helped me craft a menu that allowed for several diets from carb loving kids to vegetarians. Glynis and her team also worked well with the other vendors and the facility manager. I got compliments from them all which was important because we are members of the Temple where the party was held. Thank you Catering by Seasons. -

Catering By Seasons blew us away. Glynis was extremely involved throughout the planning process and communicated perfectly to our wedding planner and us. Her menu was perfect. The hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour were also fantastic and complimented summer well.
On the day, her staff was incredible. They made sure my bride and I were taken care of from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. The whole staff was friendly and hardworking. We had a large number of people who don't drink alcohol, so she made mocktails for all those guests and included fresh peaches from the farm our venue was on. I 10/10 recommend Catering by Seasons.

We hired Catering by Seasons for our wedding at Woodend Sanctuary. Glynis and her team did a wonderful job! They were responsible not just for the food, but also for all our tables, chairs, linens, plates, etc. We provided our own alcohol, but they provided the bar and bartender. They did an amazing job with all of it! The setup was beautiful, and the food was truly delicious. Glynis was helpful and so kind throughout the planning process, and I really appreciated her flexibility when we had to make some last-minute unforseen adjustments a few days before the wedding. Catering by Seasons made it a great experience all around. -

We hired Catering by Seasons for our April 2022 wedding, and they were amazing. They managed the rentals of tables, chairs, linens, plates, etc. in addition to catering the food and beverages. We provided the alcohol but they provided a bartender and ice. Every member of their team was kind and professional, from the booking, to the tasting, to the day itself. They say that the bride and groom don't have time to eat at their own wedding, but the Catering by Seasons team made sure we got a chance to eat and drink! They made us a little plate of appetizers so that we didn't have to completely miss out (since we were doing photos during cocktail hour), for example.
The food itself was delicious. Our guests have a variety of dietary restrictions, and they were able to accommodate everyone. Everyone said how good the food was! And they baked the cake, so we didn't have to hire an outside bakery. It was gorgeous and really good--moist and delicate.
Polly was my main point of contact and she was a joy to work with. I truly can't speak highly enough of Catering by Seasons. They are phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning an event in this area! -

Seasons catered our wedding at Woodend Sanctuary. Glynis and her team not only made our wedding day perfect, but were with us every step of the way. From the normal steps like picking out settings and menu tasting to the extra craziness of re-planing a wedding three times due to COVID and adapting to a Celiac's diagnosis between the initial tasting and the final wedding date. It's hard imagining planning a wedding once, and especially three times, without their guidance. Everything was stunning, the food amazing (no one knew the entire wedding was gluten-free!), and Glynis was there through the night keeping everything running perfectly even when the little hiccups arose. We had an amazing wedding reception and most of that was due to Glynis and catering by seasons. Our venue was Capital Turnaround, and the catering team supplies the everything from the table cloths to the flatware. Because of this, our entire ambiance was dependent on “Catering by Seasons” promptness, flexibility and execution. We’re proud to say that everything looked wonderful. The team was on time and very helpful and accommodating to our budget. We also were married in Covid season, which made planning more difficult, but Glynis really came through for us. I loved working with Seasons, especially Glynis, who was my point person for close to two years! The Bar Mitzvah was an amazing success in no small part because of the delicious food and gorgeous linens, not to mention the inventive signature cocktails and elaborate dessert display. Everyone raved about the food, which made me happy as I am a serious foodie. The pricing was competitive with the other three catering companies I considered, and there were no surprises at the end either. All in all, I will use Catering by Seasons for future events as they were wonderful! -

We hired Catering by Seasons for our November 2019 wedding. We worked directly with Glynis Keith throughout the process from our first tasting, to designing a beautiful event space with linens and table settings to match our vision, to watching it all come together on our wedding day. She was amazing! Glynis even kept a close eye on me during the cocktail hour so I wouldn’t be holding the bone remnants of a devoured lamb lollipop in all my photos (thank you!). Glynis was very kind and warm to my family both during the planning process and on the day of our wedding.
Our wedding was the same day as the Nationals World Series parade and Seasons was able to accommodate a last minute change in plans for delivery which alleviated a great deal of stress for us. Glynis was flexible and accommodating to this change as well, which required her to wake up extremely early and stay close to our venue to make ensure everything ran smoothly and on time.
My husband and I had the hardest time selecting menu items for our cocktail hour and reception because everything we tried at our tasting was incredible. The food we selected was AWESOME and our guests are still talking about it... many have requested the “recipe” for the sangria they served. Our cake was gorgeous, looked like a perfect replica of my inspiration photo, and was absolutely delicious.
We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the experience and service we received from Seasons. The waitstaff at the reception were lovely.. professional, attentive, efficient, and friendly to our guests.

We hired Catering by Seasons for our wedding at Woodend Sanctuary in early October and were well-cared for from the start. Glynis is so much more than an awesome catering lead and helped us navigate the many decisions we hadn't even thought to contemplate. The food was awesome and fresh and we had so many stylish choices for decor and had no problem coming up with a concept that totally matched our style and vibe. They even were responsive to super helpful things like making up a special salad for my mom with no goat cheese and putting together a plate of raw veggies for my picky nephew. Service was awesome and totally professional in every way. Fully recommend! -

Glynis and the team that we worked with were incredible. I was initially drawn to Catering by Seasons due to their eco-friendly practices and felt that everything else was less important to me. Luckily, the quality of the food and service was incredible. Glynis was supportive and happy to do whatever we asked. We wanted to do an espresso bar for our brunch wedding and she handled the whole thing. She also handled rental of unique furniture pieces and I didn't lift a finger! The options for seating, linens, and other decor were extensive and we easily found items to fit our taste. The food was wonderful, and they were easily able to accommodate my need for gluten free options, including crepes!! The person dedicated to my husband and myself, Oscar, was wonderful. We got to sit and eat our full meals before mingling and I was SO grateful for that. Glynis was flexible with us up to the last minute and really the whole team was a dream to work with. -

Catering by Seasons was a recommended vendor for our venue, and we were lucky they were! Katie, our Catering Lead, was absolutely incredible. She was thorough, organized, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was amazing. She made sure that all of our food and bar service was perfectly executed the day of, I didn't even have to give it a second thought. The service staff and bartenders were attentive and professional. Catering by Seasons was truly amazing at our wedding, and I am happy to give them my highest recommendation. The food was superb, the Event Manager (Misty Zany) brought years of experience and professionalism to each of our interactions with her, the Executive Chef (Kyle Vermeulen) was accommodating to my smallest requests and always had a calm and professional demeanor, and the Captain (Oscar) was fantastic in managing a large crew while simultaneously being available to handle any request.
I should also mention that this was a difficult event to cater. It was in our home, so Seasons had to establish their staging area outside. Our house was jam-packed with guests spread across multiple rooms making it difficult to coordinate service. I was very picky about our bar service; I had a full bar with a long list of drinks from which guests could choose. The Seasons bartender used my list and made all of our guests very happy. They handled every challenge with ease.
To be very candid, I cannot imagine any catering service doing a better job. We received rave reviews from guests and even our other vendors. Quite simply, Catering by Seasons was instrumental in making our Big Day magical. We are sincerely thankful to them and happily give Catering by Seasons our highest recommendation. -

I wanted to provide a traditional Maryland crab feast for my son’s rehearsal dinner. Once I found the rental property that would serve as the site for the dinner, Glynis met me at the property along with Brian from Electric Events DC. We discussed many options for the event and Glynis offered suggestions while listening to my requests. I felt I had a partner who shared my dream and worked to make the dream a reality. Fast forward to the event day: weather concerns popped up and Glynis was available each time I reached out to her. We were able to finalize plans that turned out to be perfect - no matter the weather. The crab feast was cooked on site by a very professional staff. Everything was top notch from the presentation to the service. We could not have asked for a more perfect night. Aleks Sent on 10/02/2017Alberto is the best catering manager ever!! Everything about working with Catering by Season, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal! We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was, and we asked the chef to make a special family recipe for one of our hors d'oeuvres, which was also delicious. The bartenders nailed all of the specialty cocktail recipes. The entire team was incredibly nice and professional.
We talked to 6 different catering companies recommended by our wedding venue (Josephine Butler Park Center) before selecting Catering by Seasons mainly because of Alberto; he was updating our quotes and proposals on the fly whereas other companies told us that they would get back to us in a week or two. His experience and attention to detail was evident, as was his desire to do an excellent job. I cannot recommend Catering by Season's enough, as our wedding turned out more beautifully and was more fun than I could have ever imagined! Thank you again, and once I get more pictures, I will be happy to share them :) -
