  Carla and her team are amazing! They did hair and make up for me and my bridesmaids and everyone looked absolutely gorgeous. All my girls were so happy with how they looked and we all got exactly what we asked for. I have never felt so beautiful and my make-up lasted all night. Carla is extremely talented and I am so happy that I chose her as our hair and make up artist. Highly recommend her and her team :)

  I had the unfortunate experience of having the person who I had booked for my wedding day hair and make up cancel on me a few weeks before the wedding. Not only was Carla able to accommodate my wedding in Whistler, but was able to make the journey to make it all happen. I loved how everything turned out and couldn't recommend her highly enough.

  From start to finish having Carla Hawksworth as my beauty consultant for the day of my wedding was amazing. I wanted to do a trial run through of my hair and make up and she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She gave me the confidence to try something new with make up since I don't wear any or even know how to put any on. After the trial run i was excited for the day to happen. When it finally happened Carla came to the location of the bridal party getting ready and she got right down to it even though we had a small space she worked around it and made the space work. I was feeling anxious but once she showed up and started working on my hair she calmed me down and I began to feel the confidence that she helped me gain on the day of the trial. I was so happy with how the hair and make up turned out that I would recommend Carla to every person who is getting married. She is professional and fun, the make up and my hair style was exactly what I wanted and had hoped for. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

  On your wedding day you want to look perfect. I rated Carla 5/5 and highly recommend her services. Carla is very professional, calm (perfect for a stressful day) her makeup is flawless.
  
  The day of my wedding was a whirlwind, the last thing I wanted to worry about was my makeup from tears at the ceremony and possible touch ups for photos. I didn't want to purchase makeup I wouldn't use again and find the time to apply.
  
  I hired Carla for the whole day, I didn't want to worry. So from first application she came to where we were getting ready. She applied my makeup and bridesmaids. Once the ceremony was over Carla came to the venue and was ready to touch up my makeup and hair for photos. She walked with us during the photos and was helpful with the entire photo shoot.
  
  This peace of mind of having Carla there on this day was priceless to me. I knew my makeup was perfect, my hair was perfect and I could just enjoy the moments of the day.

  Carla did my make up as well as my mothers and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. She has a wonderful eye for color, respectfully listens to your requests, and provided us a calm, collected, stress-free attitude.   Carla is a great stylist and ever the professional. I planned my Vancouver wedding from LA - I really appreciated that Carla was readily available over the phone and through email. For my hair and makeup trial, Carla went through the whole process and let me take pictures to review. After looking at the photos of the hair and makeup, I wasn't entirely happy with the look. I was worried about offending Carla and her work but when I finally worked up the courage to talk to Carla, I felt so silly for being so anxious. Carla was so very understanding and kind, we were able to talk about what I didn't like and what we could change on the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she had an assistant who was just as nice as she is and they arrived early too. They set up very quickly and started beautifying us right away. Carla did an amazing job on my hair and makeup on my wedding day. It was exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have felt more beautiful. I received so many compliments about my hair and makeup! They did a GREAT job on my bridesmaids, my sisters, my mom and my mother in law. I would highly recommend Carla!

  Carla provided amazing hair and make up for myself and bridemaids on my wedding. I was very happy with the way everthing turned out. I just described the look I envisioned for the day and Carla created exactly what i wanted, it was perfect.

  Carla was so amazing during my special day. You all know how stressful weddings may be sometimes, but Carla made me and my bridal party look flawless within specific time frame.
  
  She does both hair and make up, so it was great to hire 1 professional for both services.

  Carla did my makeup for my October 2nd wedding along with my Mother's makeup, a couple other bridesmaids and their hair! From start to finish she was nothing but professional. She responded quickly to my emails and it was easy to arrange a trial with her. She came to me the morning of my wedding so I could relax at home and not have to stress. She even showed up early!!! I loved my makeup, even though I had decided to change my look, she went with it and blew my expectations out of the water. If I didn't have to wash my face after the wedding my look would have stayed flawlessly for a few more hours I'm sure. If you're looking for a makeup artist for your wedding don't hesitate in contacting Carla!

  Carla and her team are absolutely amazing!
  She did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I used my make up trial the day I had my Engagement Pictures.
  Well let me tell you, the day of my engagement pictures we were in a torrential downpour! Like a Vancouver monsoon!
  Carla's hair and makeup stayed perfect throughout it all! All hair, and makeup not a streak, smudge, or fly away!
  I knew after that, that I had made the right decision.
  My wedding day was no exception. My hair and makeup was perfect. I honestly have never looked better.
  Then she and her colleague tackled my 5 bridesmaids plus my mother's hair and makeup all without breaking a sweat!
  Everyone looked their absolute best, and we all had a blast getting ready. They were both so easy to talk to and easily replicated the endless pictures and styles we sent them.
  I will definitely contact her for any future event!

  My Maid of Honor (MH) and I were so happy with our hair and makeup. Carla is extremely professional and was on time. We discussed many different options and she pointed me in the direction that would best suit my Wedding and my personality.
  Both my MH & I received so many complements on how stunning our hair and make up was, I couldn't have been happier. Carla's attention to detail extended to a little touch up kit that she gave to us. The kit was perfect for our photo session.
  Great service and she is very dedicated to making sure the bride is perfect on her big day.

I wanted to make sure that with a bunch of make up on that I still looked natural, and that's exactly what she did, it was perfect. I really liked that Carla had a trial of my hair and make up included in her pricing, and it was great to meet before the wedding day to do a practice run - allowed me to figure out what I liked and didn't like for my hair and make-up.

Carla and her team were so flexible and efficient and everyone was so happy with their looks for the day.   Carla did an amazing job on both my engagement and wedding makeup. She was always on time and very professional. I wanted a simple and more natural look, and she did exactly that! My makeup stayed on the entire wedding day, and when I needed do a quick touch up of my makeup for the reception, it was made easy with a little bag of makeup she gave me.
  Her prices were one of the best i had seen after doing a lot of research. She came to my house both times and set up her makeup there.

  Carla did an amazing job on both my engagement and wedding makeup. She was always on time and very professional. I wanted a simple and more natural look, and she did exactly that! My makeup stayed on the entire wedding day, and when I needed do a quick touch up of my makeup for the reception, it was made easy with a little bag of makeup she gave me.

  Carla was wonderful to work with. She seemed eager to try and get exactly the look you wanted and was willing to 'try again' or change something during the trial. As well, the make-up was done beautifully on my wedding day, I couldn't have hoped for better. Carla was on-time and very professional. She provided a mini make-up touch-up kit for during the wedding day too.

  Carla was absolutely wonderful and I loved my hair and makeup! I opted for the hair and makeup trial as well and she was very receptive to feedback. After every step, she would ask what I thought and if anything needed to be changed. She worked on my hair and makeup until I was 100% satisfied. On my wedding day, she arrived at the location on time, and never took a break for the whole 4 or so hours she was there. My Maid of Honor (I only had one bridesmaid) and my mother-in-law had nothing but great things to say about their hair and makeup. She also responded to emails in a timely manner (which I find very important). I would highly recommend her.

  Carla was fantastic to work with. From the initial email consultation, trail hair and make-up, introduction of her partner to my sister, to the actual day of application, everything was smooth and professional. My make-up was exactly as I has asked for, natural but a better looking me :D

I was pleased with our trial but absolutely blown away when I looked in the mirror on my big day. Her attention to detail, flexibility and undeniable skills make Carla a must have for your wedding. I could not have found anyone more suited: she is amazing at what she does and she worked with me at creating that picture perfect make-up for my wedding day.
