BEST Florist (and my best vendor experience overall!!!)
We loved working with Hannah SO much!! She took my random descriptions of my vision and what I wanted the day to look like and completely brought it to life. She did the hanging greenery in our reception space just like I wanted, and I was obsessed with our bouquets and ceremony decor. She was also wonderful to work with, incredibly responsive, patient, and a true professional.

Sugar Magnolia Flowers absolutely delivered! The team was great to work with - responsive, flexible, and truly understood my vision from the very beginning. I was obsessed with how everything turned out, especially my bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and ceremony piece. Everything was fresh, beautifully arranged, and perfectly matched the look I was going for.
On top of the quality and service, the price point was amazing - especially considering how quickly floral costs can add up. I couldn’t have been happier and would highly recommend Sugar Magnolia for your wedding or any special event!

Hannah is an absolute gem! She exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only was she incredibly attentive to our requests, but she also offered creative suggestions that truly elevated the floral arrangements. What I appreciated most was her respect for our budget; she never pressured us into adding things we couldn't afford. Communication with Hannah was seamless throughout the planning process, which put our minds at ease. On the big day, she was right on schedule with delivery and set up. More beautiful than we could have imagined!
Sugar Magnolia was recommended to us by our vendor, and I cannot overstate how perfect our flowers were. We gave very general guidance (color scheme and circumstances), and Sugar Magnolia took it from there. The bouquets were breathtaking! And they constructed a chuppah that was truly a work of art! They were also very easy to work with. We could not have been happier!

Hannah from Sugar Magnolia was an absolute dream to work with. We told her our vision and she executed it to perfection. She was always quick to respond when any inquires were made. She made our dreams come true. We can’t thank her enough for how much work she put in to make our day perfect. She is very affordable especially for a wedding as large as ours. Almost 200 people. Such a wonderful experience working with this florist for our wedding!!!
We got married just outside of Asheville in October 2022! From start to finish, Hannah was an absolute light to talk to and she is truly a MASTER at her craft. Y'all, I'm talking, ethereal, classic, unique, romantic, timeless designs!! She absolutely exceeded all expectations by curating designs that were BREATH TAKING!!! I had a vision for my wedding flowers to have special intentions behind them and protective wards (this has so much history behind it, please look it up!!), casting Abundance, Love & Protection for our marriage union and she absolutely channeled that energy and nailed it!! I had SO much peace through the planning process and will be forever grateful that I found this amazing human and have her work a part of our big day!!

Hannah was incredible to work with and our wedding flowers were absolutely gorgeous. Hannah did our ceremony arbor, our bridal bouquets, and our reception table decor and it was all stunning. We even printed a photo of our bouquets and have it framed on our mantel because we loved them so much. Highly, highly recommend!

She Really Cared.
We felt as though Hannah was truly invested in our happiness from day one. She asked a lot of questions about our vision and didn’t just listen, but delivered in a way that let us know she genuinely ‘heard’.
The little extras that made us catch our breath so many times as we wandered through the venue; the creativity she exhibited in the unique floral designs that incorporated flowers that I wasn’t even aware existed….everything was so very special.
When we celebrate our 5th with a recommitment ceremony we will be calling Sugar Magnolia Flower Company again.

Talented and wonderful person!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Hannah - she is not only a gifted artist, she is also a genuinely wonderful person!! I didn't have a very solid plan for the florals for my wedding, just one inspiration photo of a bouquet I thought was beautiful. From that one photo and a couple of phone conversations, Hannah figured me out and designed the most gorgeous floral arrangements. During one phone chat, we connected over our mutual love for/obsession with our dogs, as I had just found out that my dog had an aggressive bone cancer. She spent time out of her day to chat with me about it, swapping stories of our special fur children. Fast forward to the wedding day and she shows up at the bridal suite with FLOWER COLLARS for my dogs!! She truly went above and beyond and made the wedding space absolutely stunning. Family and friends are still raving about it 3 months later. Hannah you rock, thank you!!

She was very easy to work with - when we spoke over the phone, she did a great job of understanding our vision and providing recommendations for how it could be brought to life. We are a 2020 couple that got married finally in 2022. Hannah was very flexible to work with and made our rescheduling smooth. We had a few minor changes from our initial plans and she worked with me on those. The sweetest thing was she hand-delivered my bouquet on my wedding day. It was so pretty!

Flowers to Remember
My daughter did not have an exact idea of what her wedding flowers should be other than a lot of green, simple, and flowers that were in season. Hannah was very patient as Julia changed her color scheme and ideas. She provided gentle guidance and creativity that created beautiful bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, simple but stunning centerpieces for the tables, and beautiful arrangements for the ceremony as well as gift, dessert, and bartender tables. My daughter loved Hannah's creativity in providing a bouquet that was prettier than she ever imagined.

Exactly what I dreamed of!
I cannot recommend Brown's Floral Designs (name changed now to Sugar Magnolia Flower Company) enough- Hannah was on top of communication and asked me lots of questions about my style and completely delivered the day of! My bridal bouquet was something dreams were made of and I can't believe she was able to take my jumbled thoughts and turn them into the perfect flowers!
The center pieces were dreamy and elegant, and they were early to set up and I never had to worry about a thing! STRONGLY CONSIDER USING THEM!

Wonderful flowers for our 2020 "minimony"
Like many couples, we pivoted our 2020 wedding plans from a large scale wedding to a "minimony". We had been in contact with Brown's Floral and loved many of their past work. The owner and staff were very friendly and wanted to make sure they met our floral needs. They surpassed all expectations! The bridal bouquet was beyond gorgeous and the other flowers used for our family were just as beautiful! Can't wait to what they create for us next year. Would highly recommend!

Hannah and her team are INCREDIBLE
Hannah is really amazing and so gifted!!! Most of our meetings were over the phone or email because this was a destination wedding and Hannah made me feel so comfortable. Hannah has a special way of seeing ones vision. I wasn’t super clear on what I wanted (I know some brides really are, though), however I knew how I wanted the flowers and centerpieces to feel and the overall color palette. Hannah worked her magic and the flowers were beyond anything I could have dreamed!!!!!! Also, we needed a chuppah for the ceremony which is a huge task and Hannah made the most gorgeous chuppah I’ve ever seen and I have been to many other jewish weddings that have chuppahs. Seriously, look no further!!! She kept to our budget and sourced from local farms too. We thank you Hannah!!!!

I need to start this review by saying that I contacted Brown’s Floral Design on February 13, 2018 and Hannah responded to me within an hour! The night before any florists busiest day, and she messaged me back to go over wedding flower details, pricing and answered every other question I had. That right there proved to me just how dedicated Hannah is to this profession and to giving each bride exactly what she wants. I highly recommend this florist for all your wedding needs!
Hannah was a pleasure to work with: responsive and patient (I changed my mind often and she rolled right with the punches). She put together the most amazing bouquets I have ever seen! I gave her a rough idea of what I was looking for and what colors I was trying to coordinate with, and she put together absolutely amazing arrangements! The sunflowers were EXACTLY what I wanted, my flower crown was perfect (not too big but not too dainty either) and the boutonnières matched stunningly. I never thought I would get emotional over flowers, but I sure had a good cry when I saw what Hannah did for us.
Brown's Floral design is top notch! Their rates are competitive and very much worth it for the quality of services and flowers you receive! I love this florist and we will definitely be using them again!

Creative, gorgeous arrangements!
Hannah was a dream to work with and created the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. I used to raise orchids, have done a few weddings myself and am hard to impress! My daughter-in-law shed tears when she saw the flowers. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Karen was really fantastic to work with. We met with about 5 different florists for our wedding, and she was the only one that we felt 100% comfortable signing a contract with. She was very willing to work within our budget, and we never felt like we were being put on a back burner due to having a smaller budget or because we were planning the wedding remotely. She was always available to meet when we came into town and responded to emails promptly. She was very patient with our ideas and thoughts (my husband and I are both quite picky with what we like being architects and designers) and helped us incorporate some of our own centerpieces and design elements into her arrangements. Because we had a low budget and asked for a lot of greenery and ferns/terrariums rather than flowers, I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by the flowers but when I walked into the reception I just couldn’t believe how beautiful everything looked and how she went above and beyond with it all. It was more beautiful and unique than I could have ever imagined and we received so many compliments on our centerpieces. My bouquet was also absolutely beautiful, and my only regret was that I couldn’t take it with me after the wedding, and that I didn’t take more time during the reception to go around to each table and take it all in more.
We also decided to decorate with giant white weather balloons (some were up to 8’ in diameter) and Karen and her team also did a great job with coordinating all of that and hanging them from the rafters in addition to all the flowers and candles. She let nothing phase her!
I would absolutely recommend Karen to anyone who wants someone personable, and will work with you to deliver something that works with your personality and taste, not some cookie cutter and overpriced image you will find on Pinterest.

KAREN IS A MASTER OF HER CRAFT! I am aware I am VERY PICKY and Karen was amazing. She stayed in constant communication with me via email, as I was planning a wedding from 600 miles away . She was familiar with my venue and the concept I was going for. After several emails and Pinterest photos we had a plan!
When the day came, and I walked into the bridal suite and saw my bouquet, my heart stopped! IT WAS PERFECT! She captured my vision PERFECTLY! So of course I had to run into the venue and see the inside and again, PERFECT! She really listened and talked with me and she NAILED IT!
My bouquet was beyond beautiful I took it with us on our national park around the country road trip for a month photographing with it everywhere! I'm also having another made to preserve, YES SHES THAT GOOD!!!!! Shes so amazing I would recommend her from the top of roofs! I hope to use her again and thank Karen so so so much for helping make our special day unique and beautiful! She is a master of her craft and anyone would be lucky to have her as their wedding florist! Thank you Karen and Team!

We got married on July 25th, 2015, at Christ Episcopal Church and our reception was at the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge. We worked with Ted to design a look for our wedding. I do not know too much about flowers, so I gave Ted our budget and the look I was going for. He created an amazing design. He made is look much more expensive than it was. My daughter and I were so impressed with Karen's expertise and knowledge of flowers. She worked from pics my daughter gave her and went above and beyond her expectations. She was so easy and flexible to work with-a pleasure. She is so creative and we were thrilled with the arrangements and bouquets she did. Karen at Brown's Floral Design is a true artist. Our initial meeting was so much fun! I shared my ideas and visions and Karen brought them to life far beyond any expectation. I have never in my life seen more beautiful arrangements. Looking around the room at our ceremony and reception, each detail executed in every arrangement was just breathtaking. Karen made me feel very comfortable with every decision, and really helped me envision her thoughts and advice. I cannot imagine our wedding day without her expertise, and will be forever grateful!

I knew from the moment my mother and I met with Karen that she was the florist for our big day! She is incredibly approachable and easy to speak with. She is very knowledgeable about flowers and was the first florist to actually listen to what I had to say. She let me explain what I was thinking and then showed me examples of what would work and what wouldn't work. She was so easy to work with and provided us with everything we could have needed in terms of flowers. The bouquets and boutonnieres were absolutely beautiful and couldn't have been more perfect.

From the moment we sat down with Karen at Brown's Floral Design, we knew we wanted to work with her. She listened to our ideas, and collaborated with us on how to create what we wanted on our wedding day. And we were incredibly impressed with her creativity and artistic vision. She's a real artist.We even included artichokes in our design! She was also a huge help in budget-checking us when our ideas got a little...grandiose.
Our wedding was outdoors, and on the day of I was really awed by the urns on the altar. I hadn't seen them in person until I walked down the aisle, and they were simply outstanding. They worked with all of the planning we had done and really stood out, which wasn't easy since we were married in a glen full of greenery!
Karen really worked with us from the very beginning and helped guide us on how we could achieve the effect we wanted while working within our budget. We couldn't be happier with the result.

My matron of honor surprised me with a bouquet from Brown's and it was better than I could have ever imagined. My matron of honor gave them a picture of what I had pinned on Pinterest and while it did not look the same as the picture, it was so beautiful and a true work of art! It was made of lavender and mostly herbs/edible flowers. I would HIGHLY recommend Brown's for all of your wedding needs.

Karen and the staff at Brown's Floral Design are wonderful!! I am an intense planner and like to have processes organized and Karen fit right into that mode. I had a specific vision of the reception decor and needed her artistic style to incorporate into the plan. Our first meeting was so much fun and she was able to give me visual examples of certain flowers to see if that fit my vision. The end result was more than I could EVER imagine. Karen took my vision and expanded on it and made the reception into a beautiful art scape of floral. I strongly feel that Brown's Floral gives its customer more bang for their buck when compared to other florists. I also did not feel like a pest when I needed to email Karen with any questions or changes. Karen is very responsive and I appreciate that so much. Thank you guys for adding so much beauty to our night and we cannot wait to see more pictures!!

Gloriously lush and stunning are the words that describe the bouquets and arrangements that Karen Paradis, owner of Brown’s Florist, created for my daughter’s wedding. Our family has a love for flowers that we wanted to develop in the bouquets and arrangements for the wedding. Our initial meeting with Karen was very high energy with many ideas passing between my daughter and Karen. She listened intently and understood my daughter’s plan of how flowers would fit into the wedding day. Karen interpreted these ideas into artistic floral creations that added beauty and elegance to the wedding and reception. Beyond the creative aspect of flowers, Karen gave us practical advice on caring for the bouquets before, during, and after the ceremony. She even told me how to root the curly willow that was in the large arrangements so that we have a living memory of the flowers of that day. Finally, I would say Karen takes a highly personal interest in her work. She refers to “my brides” as she speaks of her work with those who choose her florist. Their designs are beautiful, and the flowers were so pretty I started crying! Karen was super responsive via email and phone and had the most competitive prices of any florist I considered...and the most talent. I'm not an artistic person, but I was able to describe colors and the overall feel of the arrangements we wanted, and Karen nailed it! Brown's Floral Design was an excellent choice for my wedding! Karen met with me and listened to my vision and brought forth so many good ideas for all the florals and ceremony/reception decorations. The communication with all staff was wonderful and I knew from the beginning they would make our fall wedding special.
When wedding day came, the staff transformed the ceremony/reception into an explosion of tasteful Fall decorations with a rustic touch. The flowers were fresh and fragrant and I can't wait to see how they brought the perfect pop of color to all the photos! I LOVED my bouquet and also adored all the other arrangements.

I am the mother of the bride and flowers were at the top of my daughter's list for knowing exactly what she wanted and being important. Karen and her staff were amazing. We had a consultation with Karen; Cindy told her the colors and had some pictures that were "kind of" what she liked. Karen showed her some flowers and colors to give her options and we left Karen that day feeling like she "got it", as Cindy would say. Well did she "get it"! The flowers were beautiful! The boutonnieres were exactly what I had pictured, and complemented the colors in the suits so well. I have worked for the past six years in Washington, DC as a nonprofit arts fundraiser and have managed many events, from picking out tablecloths to designing a theme for floral arrangements. I found Karen and her team at Browns Floral Design to be as responsive and professional (if not more so) as any of those I have worked with in the "big" city.
She took my ideas and concept and pulled them together to form a bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, table arrangements, and church decor that epitomized my vision for our wedding. Her work is stunning and she definitely took my vision to the next level.
I would use her again if I were planning another event in the area and recommend her highly to anyone who is looking for decor that will set their event apart from the rest. Bravo!

Karen and her staff at Browns Floral Design were amazing from the first phone call, the design appointment to the final product being so much more beautiful than we could have imagined. My daughter had her wedding outdooors in Weaverville and Brown's Floral did all the decorating, flowers, etc. Everything was perfect. The people there were wonderful to work with, always responding to emails, and coming up with great ideas. They connected us with a local potter who made bowls for the centerpieces. Brown's Floral really made the wedding a very special event in every way.

Traditional arrangements are common at most places, but the creative nature at Brown's is perfect for that very special occasion in one's life. Karen made a site visit prior to event and gave suggestions that were greatly appreciated.

From the first consultation with Karen Paradis at Brown's Floral, we knew she was a professional in her field, and this opinion carried throughout the entire planning process and the main event. Her ideas were creative and yet economical. She was flexible and so much help and support when problems popped up. The delivery was perfect and everyone was so impressed with the quality of the flowers as well as the entire concept of the decor. I would highly recommend Karen for any project. As the Mother of the bride, I had a lot of details to take care of. If you are looking for someone you can depend on to do it right the first time with no hassles, Karen and Brown's Florist are the way to go.

We met with her just briefly, but she asked all the right questions, took great notes, and had a perfect idea of what we wanted. We felt totally comfortable leaving everything in her hands. Karen gave us so much personal attention both during our planning stages and on the day of the ceremony. Her great personality and her warmth made her a delight to work with. She was always prompt with phone calls and emails, even when I know she was jugglging several other events. She was creative in her suggestions (floating wreaths with votives for the pond, and a gorgeous garland covering the wedding arch) and worked to help us stay within our budget. Our guests raved about the flowers, especially the combination of flowers/greenery and the vibrant fall colors she used. My daughter said she couldn't bear to watch her bouquet wither away, so we're having it preserved. That's just how much we loved the flowers! Working with Karen and Brown's Floral was a pleasure!

Brown's Floral Design, Inc. was always where I went when I lived in North Carolina for my floral needs. They do a fantastic job and I knew they wouldn't do anything less for my wedding. My flowers were extremely simple, but the few things that they did for me were absolutely beautiful and I was more than pleased. My bouquet was exactly what I expected. I also had a halo made for my walk down the aisle, and mostly left it up to Karen and the team to use their best judgement for what they thought would be most appropriate. They used an orchid and when I received the halo on my wedding day, I couldn't have been more excited. It was the most gorgeous thing I had ever seen. Whether you are picky or willing to leave the major decisions to the experts, Brown's is the way to go.

Hannah was great to work with! She completely understood our vision and has some genius ideas. Hannah suggested we do a meadow instead of an arbor and I loved the outcome. Sugar magnolia was very affordable and Hannah was great to bounce ideas off of. I can’t recommend sugar magnolia enough.

I had such a great experience with Brown's Floral Design. Karen knew exactly the right questions to ask to get an understanding of what type of flower arrangements I wanted for my wedding. I wasn't even sure myself what I wanted, but Karen was able to get a feel for my style and came up with the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces! I couldn't have been happier! Except for a couple phone calls, all was done through email which was a huge help and totally stress free. The staff at Brown's are very professional and excellent at what they do. You will not regret choosing Brown's Floral Design!!

I know everyone thinks that the flowers at their own wedding were the prettiest flowers to ever exist. But, they're wrong. ;) Mine were. :)
Karen at Brown's Floral Design was a dream to work with. I didn't know exactly which flowers I wanted, but I knew I wanted fall wildflowers and I knew the kind of theme I was going for, and she delivered the most beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres and table decorations I have ever seen. I was especially impressed by the boutonnieres. Most boutonnieres I've seen have been "fine" but nothing special. She made the most beautiful combination of succulents and flowers that was tasteful and lovely. Even my father, probably the least "into" the whole boutonniere thing, loved his.
Additionally I had the special request for a chuppah, which she happily accommodated and delivered with beauty. I would recommend Brown's Floral Design again and again. She's not cheap, but she's not overpriced either. I certainly felt that I got what I paid for, and then some!
The one thing I did notice is she forgot to put the tree trunk slices on the middle of each table. This was discussed and written in the agreement. However, it was not enough to spoil it for me. Still so beautiful and the only person who noticed was me.
