  Sharmaine planned the perfect wedding for my husband and I. She was attentive, a good listener and gave us our dream wedding. I would recommend her to anyone even the stars if I knew any (lol).

  This company was very easy to work with. They were able to take my ideas and expand them into beautiful creations! The room looked beautiful and truly breathtaking! I would recommend them to any future bride!

  Breathtakers is not just their name it's what they do; leave you breathless! Sharmaine's meticulous attention to her clients desires is in my opinion, the reason she is so successful. She is caring, devoted, and was willing to offer her creative solutions to ensure my day was perfect. Sharmaine has a wealth of knowledge about event planning and offers a variety of services. Anyone would be beyond lucky to have the chance to work with the breathtakers crew!

  Sharmaine is great. I gave Sharmaine a general idea of what I was looking for and she just took it to the next level, I couldn't have asked for anything more. She was extremely easy to work with and every detail oriented.

  Breathtakers provided exceptional service and flexibility for my bridal shower. I liked their responsiveness to my questions and they even provided various options for ideas that I had. I was able to have a bridal shower that was not only wonderfully memorable but within my budget! Highly recommend their services for any occasion! Be prepared for the final result, for it truly is Breathtaking!

  Events are stressful! Why add more?

  I was quite underwhelmed by the experience I had with this company. The services requested were overpriced and under-performed. This vendor requires prepayment of all services and lacks motivation to assist during the event. I paid for a service provider and received nothing more than table clothes and excuses. This vendor was quite non-responsive and required numerous contact attempts before replying to the most simple of inquiries. Hiring this vendor added an insurmountable amount of stress to the planning and execution of the event due to poor communication and a complete lack of presence during the event. The staff was not personable and lacked the ability to answer questions or motivation to address even minor concerns. This vendor over promises and under delivers. I would not suggest or recommend this vendor to anyone else for hire.

  I hired Breathtakers for my wedding to hang drapery, lights, set up & tear down my wedding for June 9th 2018. On my wedding day with all of the hectic activities going on I just happened to notice after the ceremony there was no lights or drapes. They had never came to my wedding that day and charged me almost $700.00 for services never done. I was not upset, my wedding was beautiful nevertheless. The next day I just called to inform them that they missed it and we would like a refund and I was then informed they had down the date of June 30th 2018. Since this was the issue I still was not upset, I understood things happen I would just like a refund for services not rendered. We got a lot of push back from this initially. Sharmaine's husband got on the phone with us and stated that we should not receive our $250.00 deposit back due to holding that date even though it was wrong. I was upset due to this and then Sharmaine got on the phone stated that she would do what is right and refund the whole amount and sent me an email stating we would recieve the whole amount in 30 days. This was on June 14th, 2018. We had never received the money back in 30 days. We then contacted them and never got a single response. My husband and I called numerous times and left a message and sent two emails and no response. We essentially got ghosted by this company and never got our refund of almost $700.00. I am not one to write bad reviews but this has made me so upset that I need to share with the world that this company is super unprofessional and very hard to work with. They may do a good job if they show up, but in my case that never happened and I never got a refund. This whole situation has turned into a nightmare and we are now moving forward with filing small claims court against them just to receive a refund for something that never happened. If I were you I'd find another company to help with your next event just to save you a headache.
