If I could give 10 stars I would! Used Border Grill at my engagement party for 65 people and did their quick service catering option - it was perfect. Our on site lead Chelsea was amazing! They used our kitchen and made sure all the food was presented beautifully and stayed hot for all our guests. The empanadas were so good and my guests would not stop raving about all the food! Highly recommend and I will be back! -

Border Grill was the absolute best choice we made for our wedding in Malibu! Taylor and her team brought our vision to life and made the whole process so fun! Our guests raved about our apps and the tacos. We cannot recommend Border Grill enough! -

I am writing this review wayyyy too late (a little over 2 years after my wedding) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give Border Grill all the praise they deserve. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Border Grill previously and found them to be so easy to work with as well as extremely professional. They always had the absolute best food so I knew when I was getting married they were at the top of my list! My husband at the time was hesitant as he isn’t the biggest fan of Mexican food even though I explained to him several times that it's a delicious modern fusion. Once we had our tasting he was sold! Taylor was so great to work with and so flexible with all our requests. We of course had to add on the churro tots for desserts as well as late night tamales. Nothing was left from either of those stations! We did a plated dinner and our guests could not stop raving about the choices, especially the short rib, it was a huge hit! -

Wonderful Team
We worked with Border Grill for our August wedding in Los Angeles, and we couldn't be happier! Working with them in the months leading up to the wedding were so easy, Taylor was super responsive and helpful in arranging everything. It was easy to get pricing and we really appreciated the transparency when getting pricing packages for different types of service. We ended up going with the taco buffet option, and we have received so many compliments on the food from our guests! On the day, the Border Grill team was prepared, professional, kind, and efficient. They helped out with all the little things like pouring water at the tables, busing cocktail glasses, and even kindly prepared plated dishes for me and my husband. We didn't have to worry about a thing for catering the entire day. The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend working with Border Grill for your event!

I have worked with Broder Grill at a few weddings and they never disappoint. Taylor is great to work with, on top of communications, and flexible when it comes to changes and updates. The food is always great and the staff is on top of everything, providing a great service! Highly recommend! -

I was extremely pleased with my experience with Border Grill Catering from the very beginning. Taylor responded right away after an email request and was responsive and helpful at every turn. The staff at the event were absolutely wonderful; both efficient and kind. Several people commented on how delicious the food was and a lucky few got to munch on leftovers in the days after. I couldn't be more pleased with how smoothly everything went. My only regret is I didn't eat more chips and guacamole or chicken tinga empanadas during appetizer hour! -

Taylor and Border Grill were so easy to work with and executed amazingly on the day of. We asked them to provide a completely vegan wedding and they accommodated us easily and deliciously. In addition, we had many questions along the way that Taylor answered quickly and patiently - she was a pleasure to work with! We would highly recommend them and hope to attend another wedding catered by Border Grill! -

Taylor and the Border Grill staff were amazing! Taylor is so responsive and was so accomodating to our requests. She remembered EVERYTHING we discussed including all the little details. We had a lot of last-minute changes due to the Coronavirus mandates and she worked with us and helped make these changes. I cannot thank her and her team enough for making this day happen with a smile on their faces. We received so many compliments about the food and staff on our Wedding Day. We have nothing but great things to say about our entire experience with them and cannot recommend her and Border Grill enough! -

When we started thinking about what we wanted to prioritize at our wedding, food was towards the top of the list. I got quotes from many different prospective vendors and was surprised at the relative affordability of Border Grill. Then we had our tasting and the deal was sealed! (So much for getting in as many tastings as possible! Haha) They were SO GOOD and could accommodate our scale (185) and any necessary dietary restrictions. They were incredibly helpful (and beared with me) throughout the process of deciding the exact quantities along the way as well as navigating the requisite rentals that would be needed for family-style plating. We were so pleased that everyone raved about how wonderful the food was! We still hear compliments to this day. The only thing I'm sad about is not asking for photos of the amazing spread! -

If you are planning a Southern California wedding and are dreaming of margaritas and tacos, Border Grill is the best choice you could make! We researched MANY catering companies and Taylor with Border Grill blew us away at our tasting. When it came to wedding day, the food and drinks were delicious and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Taylor and her staff are very detailed oriented from the moment they arrive to the last glass cleaned and put away. When you book Border Grill, you will get way more than just a catering company!

Nathalia Sent on 06/28/2016Great catering company. Love that they have a food truck, so the food was always freshly cooked. They came on time and served when the guests arrived for our appetizers. We had a rustic themed wedding, and their set up matched perfectly. Doing business with them was so easy as Lauren was prompt in replying with my emails. Any request I did, or last minute changes she would reply right away within an hour. It was the easiest business to deal with. They were very professional. And I would highly recommend this catering company, some guests even asked for their business info to know more because the food was so good. We love going to their restaurant in downtown LA. :) -

Ruby Sent on 07/19/2012We LOVED the food and the value is incredible. We were on a budget and in a warehouse without a kitchen so the taco truck idea was awesome to us. They were very helpful and our tasting was so fun and delicious. The only thing that I would say I didn't expect was how long it took for people to get their food. They all loved it but because it took so long for people to go through the line once, they weren't really able to go through the line again. I suggest apps because of this. You can even provide your own. We did chips and salsa on the table.
