If you're planning a wedding on the Big Island, look no further than Molly Johnston of Bliss In Bloom. She is, without a doubt, the best.
Last August, our families hosted a wedding at the luxurious Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island. Although we had organized events before, we quickly realized the irreplaceable value of having an experienced wedding planner—especially one who knows the island intimately. That's where Molly Johnston came into play, and for that, we will always be grateful.
From start to finish, Molly was exceptional. Her extensive knowledge of the Big Island, strong relationships with local vendors, and calm, professional demeanor made all the difference. She anticipated every detail, bringing creative and thoughtful touches that elevated the entire event. From managing logistics to navigating potential weather challenges and permits, she handled everything seamlessly—things we would never have considered, even as experienced planners who previously hosted a wedding on the mainland.
Planning a wedding from a distance can be overwhelming, making it vital to have someone who lives and works on the island—someone with a genuine understanding of the nuances involved in hosting an outdoor event in Hawai’i. Molly brought not only her expertise but also warmth, grace, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring that our three-day event was beautiful and stress-free.
We are thrilled that our family chose the Fairmont Orchid to host approximately 90 guests over a three-day wedding weekend, with many staying at the resort for five nights. Thanks to Molly and the exceptional team at the Fairmont led by Celeste Tremblay, every aspect of the experience was meticulously executed. From our Welcome Luau at Coconut Grove on Friday evening and the beautiful Ceremony at Turtle Pointe, to the Cocktail Reception at the Tennis Pavilion and the elegant, tented Wedding Reception at The Plantation on Saturday, culminating in a Farewell Brunch at the Paniolo Lounge on Sunday—each detail was flawlessly carried out.
If you're considering a destination wedding on the Big Island, we wholeheartedly recommend partnering with both the Fairmont Orchid, specifically Celeste Tremblay, and Molly Johnston of Bliss In Bloom. They are true professionals, and thanks to their efforts, our son and daughter-in-law's special day was everything they dreamed of and more.

Kirsten with Bliss in Bloom is the best wedding planner!
Not only did she provide top-notch service for our wedding, but also executed the wedding events and wedding day extremely well.
My husband and I got married in April 2024 and we started the planning process about a year and a half before the wedding. Throughout the months, Kirsten was an excellent communicator, organized, and very kind. We emailed and texted regularly, had monthly meetings (weekly meetings when we got closer to the wedding), and she made sure to followed up on tasks that I needed to do as a bride. I never felt stressed with planning the wedding, and I know that is ultimately because of Kirsten. I trusted her from the beginning, not only because of her amazing experience, but because she is a good person and executes the job well. She and her team also planned our welcome party, which was breath taking. Everything was beyond perfect.

We had the pleasure of working with Bliss in Bloom for our destination wedding. [Warning: this is a long review and it will be very well worth the read. Especially if you’re about to make one of the most critical decisions to choose who will get to handle the most important and special day in your life: Your Wedding Day]
As a particularly fastidious, OCD, and detail-oriented person. I’m the type of person who (if I had the spare time) would iron my pillowcases and arrange my closet into the colors of the rainbow. And… I had no idea the level of detail it takes to effectively plan and smoothly execute a wedding.
If I did not have Kirsten Haspe with Bliss in Bloom on our side, our wedding could have rapidly and easily turned into a sh*tshow. In fact, she was so on-top-of her game and so diligent, she and her team were actually having to constantly remind US to get things done, so everything would turn out as we wanted. She didn’t skip a beat! She FAR EXCEEDED any expectations we could possibly think of or even try to make up.
And when I say “on top of her game,” I mean— she was vehemently quick to respond (whether it was text or email), quick to take action, and is extremely organized knowing every bit of everything that needed to be handled. There was never a moment that she didn’t know what was going on. Not one iota of detail was overlooked, not one moment ever missed. Her detail-orientedness is sharper than a hawk’s eye, and her level of organization makes Marie Kondo’s appear like that of a toddler.
My husband and I travel multiple times a month basically living out of our suitcases for work, so we were pretty out of pocket and unable to handle a lot of things that needed to be handled. And planning a wedding on a completely different island didn’t help make things easier either.
Thankfully, Kirsten knew the Big Island well, is highly connected with vendors there, and was incredibly resourceful. She provided excellent vendor recommendations from catering, cake, music, decor, lighting, linens, and activities (for our guests for when they arrived to Hawaii).
She was one of the major reasons why not only did I thoroughly enjoy the wedding planning process, but our guests and family all had an amazing time on our wedding day. We got married about 2 months ago and our guests are STILL TILL THIS DAY raving about how beautiful, smoothly ran, fun, breathtaking and memorable our wedding day was and wish they were back at our wedding!
As a bride, you typically want everything to be right: your hair, makeup, the dress, the entire day; and you pray everything goes well according to plan. As a human, you know there needs to be a level of acceptance that once it’s the morning of the wedding day, what goes-goes. What is gonna happen, is gonna happen.
I will proudly share with you, there was NEVER a moment of doubt, fear, anxiety, concern of how everything was going to turn out because of Kirsten and how she and her team showed up for us from Day 1 (starting from our initial intro call) until well after our wedding.
I loved Kirsten’s taste (and I am pretty picky) and truly valued her opinion on nearly everything. We leaned on her a ton for a lot what needed to be handled.
Because of Kirsten and her team at Bliss in Bloom, what I thought was impossible actually came true— My wedding became Pinterest worthy! Though that never was my intention or goal, she helped make our wedding turn into something that magically came out of a fantasy.
And I so appreciate the care, dedication, and diligent hard work that Kirsten poured in to help make that happen. I will forever refer her to anyone who I know is looking for a reliable, trustworthy, proactive, organized, professional, and caring wedding planner. -

We had the best experience working with Bliss In Bloom from Day 1! Our head coordinator was Kirsten who instantly put us at ease because she is so clearly great at her job. Our wedding guests constantly commented on how relaxed we were the week leading up to and day of our wedding, and honestly it was all because of Kirsten and her team.
In the lead up, Kirsten advised us on all the vendors we would need and who on the Big Island they recommended. She knows everyone! It made it so easy for us that she had a strong shorthand with all the vendors we chose.
She also worked very closely with us on the florals, and handled all the communication with the florist which again made it so EASY! I also at times felt at a loss of what direction we should go with the flowers and Kirsten was a great resource with that, never told me what to do but helped me visualize what it would all look like together... she even found example imagery of what I was having a hard time articulating to her, making it clear that she understood me and what I was looking for.
Once we got into the month lead up, Kirsten took over all the communication with our vendors and we honestly didn't have to talk to anyone else but Kirsten from that point on and even through the wedding day.
Our wedding was honestly more than we could have ever expected! It was so special to us, everything went off perfectly and we really owe all of that to Kirsten. It was so important to us to be present and enjoy the event as our guests did... and that is exactly what we did! We cannot thank Kirsten and the Bliss In Bloom team enough!!! -

Wedding in Paradise
Kirsten Haspe at Bliss in Bloom was the best wedding planner I could have asked for. We organized a destination wedding to Hawaii with 135 guests at the Fairmont Orchid, afterwards many guests let us know how smooth and well organized the event was. Some standouts for me: Kirsten’s ability to problem solve, her autonomy, her attention to detail, her communication style, and her relationships with vendors. Nearly every vendor we met with, told us we’re in good hands with Kirsten - she’s the best! They said. And I completely agree. As a nervous and anxious bride, she made me feel confident that the wedding would go as plan. And the event turned out beyond what we could have hoped for. Thank you Kirsten. -

If you are debating hiring Allison and her team for day-of-coordination, don't hesitate, just book! Even though we only had them for day-of, they provided us with immense help with our wedding from start to finish. Kirsten shared so much guidance and care in the months leading up to our wedding, from an initial kick off call to vendor recommendations, help with Aisle Planner, and answers to my many questions over email. We then had the pleasure of working with Alison, who created a perfect timeline, again answered my many questions, made sure all the vendors were aligned and on it, got us rehearsed and ready, and truly brought our vision to life the day-of. They have amazing preferred vendors and are so well-connected (and respected) on the island, which was a huge relief as a long-distance bride. I just got married this past weekend and had the absolute tropical wedding of my dreams because of Kirsten from Bliss in Bloom! To give some background, I had postponed twice because of Covid and Kirsten was so incredibly helpful and understanding for each postponement- calming me down (LOL) and reaching out to vendors each time to identify new dates. Not only is Kirsten kind and warm (I felt like I had known her my whole life when we finally met), she was so collaborative, responsive (trust me - she will get back to you instantly!) and organized. She coordinated with all my vendors flawlessly. (By the way - all my vendors were so excited to hear Kirsten was our wedding coordinator/planner which is always something you want to hear!) My husband and I got married on March 7 on the Big Island of Hawaii and we couldn't have done it without Kirsten and the Bliss in Bloom team. Kirsten worked with us for more than a year to help us plan our wedding, connecting us with the best vendors on the island, communicating with our vendors when we made requests, and helping us walk through a very comprehensive checklist of todos. Bliss in Bloom is SO organized and prepared, from their wedding planning software to the timeline they prep for the wedding day.
As the days got closer to the wedding, I was so scatterbrained and Kirsten helped me keep everything in order! She was so on top of it, reminding my mom and I of everything we needed to do by when and we so appreciated her advice and guidance.
Most of all, Kirsten made the wedding day seamless and smooth! It was magical and my husband and I are going to dream about it for months to come. When we told Kirsten that we forgot to eat slices of our wedding cake because the wedding was so busy, she brought us by some freshly made wedding cake after the wedding - so sweet and generous!

It does not get any better than Bliss in Bloom - they are the dream team of wedding coordinators!
During my wedding planning experience, I was originally planning a destination wedding with a coordinator (not from Bliss in Bloom) and everything was going fine ... until 3 months before the wedding. They stopped answering my questions and ultimately stopped responding to my communications. I reached out to Bliss in Bloom and they took me on as a client. It was one of the busiest times of the year for them and we only had 3 months to make up for 12 months worth of planning.
Kirsten was AMAZING! She took all of the stress of my shoulders and handled everything. She took my ideas and created exactly the vision I was looking for. She helped answer all of my questions and made sure that every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. My wedding planning went from a nightmare to a dream. Kirsten is so skilled at understanding and listening to her client's thoughts and being a kind and firm decision-maker. She made sure we stayed on schedule for wedding planning and was always reachable via texts/calls/emails while still managing her other clients. Kirsten is kind, honest, direct, and overall a true joy to work with - she is the best.
The wedding day was magical and seamless and completely stress-free, all because of the help of Kirsten and the Bliss in Bloom team. They helped manage every detail of the day so that me, my husband, our parents, and our wedding party could enjoy and cherish the day. My now husband says hiring Bliss in Bloom was the best decision we made. I had to convince him at first why a wedding planner would be incredibly helpful. We lived in the San Francisco Bay Area and were getting married at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Why that isn't reason enough... But now, he tells all of our friends they need to hire Bliss in Bloom for their weddings.
Hawaii held a special meaning for my husband and I, and we knew immediately we wanted to get married at the Mauna Kea Hotel. But we lived halfway across the Pacific Ocean and didn't know where to start. Not only was planning a wedding overwhelming, but planning a wedding during a pandemic added uncertainty to the already overwhelming process.
It was Allison who made our dreams come to life. Planning a wedding during the pandemic with the future unknown, Allison was very attentive, forthcoming, and calm as we planned a wedding with many things uncertain. She assured us that no matter what it will still be a day to remember, made the planning process a lot easier.
Our monthly phone calls and online website made communication and planning so easy. She was incredibly professional throughout the entire process, and the perfect person to be there the day of to help with all of our last minute needs.
Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and thanks to Allison and Bliss in Bloom, it went off without a hitch. Our only problem was that our dance floor was too small!
Our wedding exceeded all our expectations, and came together so well, we are incredibly grateful for the time and effort Allison and her team put into this. We could not have done it without her, and are forever thankful for everything she did.

One of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding, was to hire Kirsten! When thinking about our wedding, we just wanted to be present and not have to worry about the little things that make up the wedding. We can honestly say that we were not stressed out about our big day, because we knew Kirsten was taking care of it! She took our stress of planning our wedding, and for that we will forever be thankful!
It was easy to give her the key to the night, since she was always professional and always on top of things. We gave her our vision for the wedding, and she made it happen! On top of that, Kirsten dealt with different Covid restrictions being implemented 2 months before our wedding, and every week was something new. Still, we never were worried what our wedding would look like because we knew Kirsten would make it the best it could be! She gave us numerous ideas on what we could do with the new restrictions, and in the end, it all worked out perfectly - exceeding our expectations!
Beyond that, Kirsten and Bliss In Bloom hold themselves accountable so we don’t have too! Words can’t describe how thankful we are with Kirsten for making our dream wedding a reality! If you want a stress-free wedding, in which all you must do is be present and enjoy it, hire them! -

Bliss In Bloom - Holualoa Inn, Big Island
We worked with Kirsten from Bliss in Bloom, and we cannot recommend them enough. We are from San Francisco, and chose the month of package back in 2019, because we needed the extra help coordinating our destination wedding. We had to postpone our wedding in 2020 due to Covid, and had to file for a permit to hold our wedding on the Big Island this October, 2021. Kirsten communicated with all our vendors to reschedule and secure their availability on our new date, sent us updated contracts, as well as kept us up to date with the constantly changing covid-19 travel restrictions.
Kirsten and Bliss in Bloom far exceeded our expectations. Our wedding day was so seamless and stress free, that we were able to really cut loose, spend time with our guests, and dance the night away!
Kirsten was extremely professional, communicative, flexible, and best of all laid back! Truly a pleasure to work with. We can't thank you enough for being such an integral part of executing our dream wedding.

Our wedding planner, Lynn, basically saved our entire wedding.
We had a major issue 3 hours before the start of the ceremony. It's a really long story, but the venue we had originally booked wouldn't let our officiant in (they weren't on the "guest list"). Lynn also was not "on the list". We panicked and pandemonium ensued. We were not ready to give up on our original spot. We argued and fought with the venue's management for hours, always seemingly only a few minutes away from reaching a deal.
While we were in sheer denial of what was happening, Lynn knew that things were not going to work out. At the last minute, she coordinated an alternative location, on the same beach but about a mile down from where we were originally planning to be. This location ended up being even better and we cannot thank her enough! Bliss & Bloom, you saved us. -

I can't say enough nice things about Allison and Kirsten at Bliss in Bloom and couldn't thank them enough for helping plan our wedding. I had a very difficult time articulating what I wanted and could only provide random Pinterest images and explanations of what I did not want, and they somehow easily spun that into the perfect wedding. They constantly provided me with excellent ideas, quick responses and updates, as well as all around support. I feel like I had people on my side at all times. They made everything feel effortless, fun and stress free, which was always appreciated as I was planning our wedding from out of state. Allison always encouraged me to do what I wanted or what felt right to me and gently reigned me in when necessary. If I so much as mentioned an idea during one of our weekly chats, Kirsten and Allison had a quote lined up within days so that I could decide if it was something I wanted to move forward with. It's obvious in everything they do that they are very experienced and well connected.
The week of the wedding Allison said all the right things, but also backed up what she said with her actions; calmly dealing with my indecisiveness, last minute changes, high winds and Covid issues. Every vendor they recommended and/or provided was wonderful. Bliss in Bloom's day of coordination was movie-like as the team worked discretely throughout the night: the timeline was upheld, our parents and family were always in the right place at the right time and everyone and everything was taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend the ladies of Bliss in Bloom over and over again and feel so lucky that they were part of my 'Big Day'. -

Wrap Around Services with Bliss in Bloom
Kirsten and her team from Bliss in Bloom were the best wedding planners my wife and I could ever ask for. We had the unfortunate experience of having to delay our original wedding date on March 28, 2020 to an uncertain time in the future. Through it all, Kirsten has been there for us. If our wedding proceeded as planned on March 28th, Kirsten definitely made the process as painless as possible. We had many scattered ideas of what we wanted, and Kirsten was able to make sense of all of It and create a wedding that was picture perfect.
A week from our wedding date, we had decided to postpone due to COVID concerns. Kirsten did all the legwork to contact our vendors, and checked up on us periodically just to see how we were doing. We then settled for February 2021, but again decided to delay to June (a full 15 months from our original date!) for vaccination purposes. Again, Kirsten did everything to make the process so smooth.
Then the big day came - there were no hiccups, all the pieces fell perfectly into place, and everything was so picturesque. We could not be happier with how everything went. Even the small stuff that may have been issues, were not issues at all because of the Bliss in Bloom team.
Seriously, if you are reading this wondering if Bliss in Bloom would act in your best interest, or if you don’t know who to choose because it may seem so overwhelming, keep this in mind - Kirsten was such a supportive part of one of the most testing and grueling experiences in wedding planning, and still, she handled it with such grace. You want someone who is organized, compassionate, down-to-earth, experienced, and professional, and she was all that and more.

Bliss review
Coming from one of the worst-case-scenario COVID brides, Bliss in Bloom are truly the most wonderful wedding planning humans, let me tell you why. Our March 28, 2020 wedding was canceled the day the CDC banned 50 person gatherings. We were 2 days away from leaving. As an ICU nurse, this was an extremely difficult time to not only choose to postpone our dream wedding, but wait in uncertainty. And we waited, and waited, and waited, for months. Hawaii's travel guidelines were not only the most limited but continued far beyond everywhere else.
As things began to slowly open up in Hawaii, we began to pick up the pieces and replan. Throughout the roller coaster emotions, Allison was there with us for it all. She, of all people, more than understood how devastating and frustrating this was for us. She listened, was kind, understanding, supportive, and was above all always patient with us. Responses were always quick, thoughtful, and genuine in giving feedback to help my extreme indecisiveness. I appreciated how positive and fluid her relationships with the other vendors were, and come the day of, all worked together like a well oiled machine (post COVID mind you). This was very telling of how well she ran Bliss in Bloom, operating in a small community who honor and live aloha.
Up until our new big day, many things were still uncertain. Allison was honest in expectations and was prepared for anything to happen. A few days before the wedding, Hawaii required an event form be submitted and approved to have our wedding. Before I could even worry, she was of course on top of it and we were approved. Just to make sure we abided by our paperwork, 9 of Kona's finest police officers made an appearance during the reception (must have been a slow night?). Some guests told me of how Allison was on them at the doorway, paperwork in hand and teeth out ready to defend our wedding day! They joked about being strippers, wished us well, and we got a priceless photo out of it.
In the end, May 1, 2021 was perfect. I have goosebumps sitting here looking back on just how truly perfect it was. I can't help but feel our original date needed to fall apart for the new one to come together. And Bliss in Bloom made that happen. I am overcome with endless gratitude and love for Allison and the Bliss in Bloom team. Did I tell you she even pinned the boutonnière on my groom? On top of the many duties she had that day! Nothing short from above and beyond. It was my second easiest YES I have ever said! Don’t even second guess it, BOOK THEM! -

I have no words. Honestly Allison pulled my wedding together and made it more amazing than I could imagine. Living in Michigan and planning a wedding DURING A PANDEMIC Was not easy, but she made it easy. Alison and her whole team spent quality time with me and my mother and making sure that all the vendors we had were quality and met our needs. And when they didn’t she fought the battle for us. We had nothing but a beautiful experience with this team especially Alison who really made sure to keep in contact with me and allowed me to use her a little more than I think I probably should’ve. When we got engaged in the fall of 2018, we decided to do a destination wedding on the Big Island. Out of all the wedding planners we reached out to, Allison at Bliss In Bloom was the first to respond and she was very excited to work with us. She did not discourage us that it was too early to plan for a 2020 wedding.
Allison has planned many weddings without the couple ever stepping onto the island, but what better way to do a weekend getaway for "wedding planning?" We flew out three times from LAX over the following year and we met up with Allison every time. We knew we were in good hands. She would even point out things we never knew we needed! She has worked with many vendors on the island and we trusted her insight. Allison also worked with us whenever we felt one of the vendors was out of our budget.
We used the Aisle Planner website to keep track of our vendors, decisions, budget, and inspiration pictures. Allison and her team were easily accessible by text and email. They contacted all the vendors for us and figured out what deposits were needed. As it got closer to our wedding day, Allison scheduled monthly phone calls with us to make sure everything was still on track. In March 2020, our lives changed and the pandemic threw the biggest wrench at all our hard work. We desperately held on to our wedding date in April 2020 as we dealt with our shrinking guest count. Allison kept us in the loop on what was happening on the island. It was not long before we ultimately postponed our special day. While we were stuck in California, Allison notified all our vendors and took care of everything on the island, including scheduling the new wedding date for 2021.
Fast forward a year later, we reached out to Allison to tie up any loose ends from the previous year. She followed up on new COVID restrictions and remaining balances with the vendors and we let her know the final guest count.
DAY OF COORDINATION
Allison and her team, Lynn and Kirsten, attended the church rehearsal the day before the wedding. It's a good thing we already planned out the timeline prior to the day of the wedding because everything left our brains on the wedding day. As the bridal party got dolled up, the Bliss In Bloom team overlooked the setup at both the venue and the church. I had to hide in the car before the church ceremony and Allison sensed I felt lonely. I'm so thankful Kirsten kept me company in the car to distract me from my nerves! The team made sure we stayed on schedule with toasts and dinner so we can have beautiful sunset photos. We had appetizers and drinks at our sweetheart table during cocktail hour. We also had plenty to eat for dinner and we were so full! Allison even had safety pins when the wedding dress bustle could not handle all the partying. At the end of the night, the team handled the breakdown of the venue as the bridal party left with plenty of flowers and leftovers.
Do not hesitate when it comes to Bliss In Bloom! It was the best decision we made and two years of wedding planning were finally made into a beautiful reality. If Bliss In Bloom can handle a pandemic, they can handle any wedding hurdle. We will miss working with these lovely ladies and we look forward to coming back to the Big Island soon! -

We hired Bliss in Bloom for the “day-of-coordination” of our wedding, and they were great! We worked with Kirsten and she was so amazing. She kept us focused and on-task. We can’t thank Allison and her team enough for making our daughter’s wedding all she ever dreamed it would be. We hosted a multi-day affair in Hawaii – all while residing on the East Coast. The wedding was held at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and we carefully researched a number of on-island planners for our “day of” coordination. My husband and I got married at the Mauna Kea Resort in May of 2019 and booked Bliss in Bloom to do of day of coordination, honestly the best money we spent on the entire wedding. I naively believed that we did not need any extra help in planning our wedding as I tend to be extremely type A/organized and I grew up on the Big Island and thought I would have had an upper hand in having my family living on the Island assist with anything I needed (lol). I also didn’t think that day of coordination would be worth the money.
After my first call with Allison, my opinion completely changed as it was clear that she and her team had a lot of experience and positive working relationships with the hotel as well as the local vendors. This made the process so much easier and much more streamlined. Allison and Kirsten also provided me with tons of helpful information in securing vendors and negotiating contracts (something I didn’t know they would provide as I had only hired them to do day of coordination). They were also gentle yet honest in telling me there were certain things I didn’t need to spend money on and offered cost-effective solutions without sacrificing the design or ideas I had planned for.
Allison and Kirsten were always extremely responsive and communicative in the months leading up to the wedding. Again, I did not think that a day of coordinator would assist in any of this. But throughout the entire process they were very encouraging and professional and always set up calls with me whenever I started to become overwhelmed (everything you need to help minimize any wedding related anxiety or stress). Allison also gently encouraged my husband and I to do the hula/play the saxophone after we had almost cut it off of our timeline. Our performances ended up being one of the most special parts of our reception for us.
On the actual rehearsal/day of the wedding, Allison and her team were so much better than we could have imagined. Allison has the clear ability to stir the ship and delegate tasks. She also encouraged our parents/bridal party to direct any issues or concerns to her and her team to help minimize our stress. And even in the middle of directing the whole wedding day, Allison still made the time to text me to see how I was doing. Everything went soooo smoothly that my husband and I were able to cruise through the wedding day without any worries or concerns.
If there is anything that I regret, it's not having hired Allison from the start to plan the entire thing.

Wedding planning isn't easy. You might hate every minute of it. But if you do it right, not only will it be worth it, but you will also have a magical memory that will last a lifetime. For that reason, having an incredible wedding planner is the right investment. Bliss In Bloom have given us a wedding to remember because of how hard they worked on every little detail. We had a wedding where one would think everything could have gone wrong (slippery, pouring rain, electrical work getting rained on, we forgot champaign glasses and a bunch more) but instead it was the MOST magical day because of Kirsten's hard work and constant attention to detail. If I could keep Kirsten in every aspect of my life, I would! But she did give me HUGE dose of love and magic to live the rest of my life with. Mahalo Kirsten!

We were back and forth on the idea of hiring a coordinator, but ended up going with Bliss in Bloom as our day-of coordinator and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Lynn was our coordinator and was absolutely amazing! She was extremely responsive and professional. As a natural micromanager, I was able to put all my trust in her abilities.
Lynn even went as far as creating favors the night before the wedding due to my original favor vendor falling through (bless her heart). Lynn executed a beautiful timeline that I couldn’t of dreamed up. On the day-of, Lynn and her assistants coordinated a large amount of vendors and family with what appeared to me as ease (phew!).
I could go on forever about how happy and thankful I am, but if you are unsure about hiring a coordinator, do it and go with Bliss in Bloom because Lynn proved to me that they have an amazing team! -

Allison was the best wedding planner we could've asked for. My husband and I got married at the Mauna Kea this past October and originally we hired Bliss in Bloom for design coordination and weekend of wedding coordinator but after meeting w/ her we and seeing how much value she'd bring, we upgraded to month of coordination. Allison has great relationships with all the vendors on the island and managed all the communication with them so we could just funnel everything through her. She has a great design eye and vision and made the entire weekend beautiful end to end. We really wanted to stick within our budget and she was also creative in coming up with ways we could make our money spread further without sacrificing quality. Honestly she was worth every penny because I could spend my wedding week just enjoying my friends & family knowing everything would be taken care of. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you Allison! -

Allison & her Bliss team are legit heaven sent. Planning a Big Island wedding from San Diego was a daunting task, however Allison’s creative and calm demeanor instantly put me at ease. The best wedding planning advice I received was to hire a day of coordinator – put it in the budget early. I was referred to a couple of wedding planning companies, reached out to all of them – had to do my due diligence :) And I felt her questionnaire was the most thorough and insightful. Gave her a ring and from our first conversation – she was so helpful, creative and professional.
Though I signed up for the month of/ day of package – she did not hesitate to answer any questions I had leading up to my wedding. She created the most detailed, organized timeline – the timeline is what I was most stressed about. Lyn led my rehearsal the day before and was perfect. I’ll admit, I had a tiny breakdown and Lyn was there to help.
The big day – I could not imagine my wedding day without Bliss in Bloom. It’s the best feeling knowing you can trust a team with your wedding – a year in the making, lots of money bags dropped, everyone there to celebrate you and your husband to be. Like many weddings, we had a couple hiccups – food was late, groomsman getting out of hand, people eating the donut wall when they weren’t supposed to… Allison had a solution for EVERYTHING. I was not worried at all – and she always made sure I had a drink in my hand :) If you’ve read this far – do yourself a favor and let Bliss in Bloom do their thing – they are experts in what they do. We weren’t sure if we needed a wedding planner, but now that all is said and done, I’m so glad we decided to hire Bliss in Bloom as our day-of coordinator! We had the honor of having Allison work with us a month or two before the wedding. She was a great asset in executing our vision. Going through the little details was overwhelming, but Allison helped talk me through my ideas. She was thoughtful with great attention to detail. Her thorough planning and execution with regards to the day-of timeline was essential in relieving our anxieties. I’m not sure there were very big slip-ups on the day of, but if there were, we didn’t hear or know about it ;) this is EXACTLY how you want your day to go. She’s also an awesome communicator—she replies promptly to emails & gets the ball rolling.

My husband, Bill and I were on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, but living in Philadelphia and planning a wedding in Hawaii, it starting to make more sense as we talked about it and it was the best decision!
From the moment I spoke with Allison and Lynn, I felt at ease. Lynn was our day of coordinator for our wedding, April 21, 2018. She went above and beyond to make our day extremely special.
Prior to hiring Bliss in Bloom, we had already started planning with booking location, photographer, hair and make-up. Lynn made sure to communicate with our current vendors and also helped book vendors that we didn’t get to yet such as music, flowers, decor, reception, and the most important… our officiant.
Lynn was very responsive and thorough throughout the whole process. She took care of everything with such ease before, during, and after the wedding.
I can honestly say that Lynn made our wedding day and without her I don’t know what we would have done. We are beyond thankful that were had the opportunity to work her. We highly recommend hiring Bliss in Bloom for your big day! -

Bliss in Bloom went above and beyond to make our day absolutely amazing. Bliss in Bloom took care of the 'Day of Coordination' , florals and decoration and they exceeded my expectations in every way. The flowers and decor were stunning and created a beautiful setting for our ceremony and reception.
The coordination also could not have been better. I had a few issues with other vendors in the last week before the wedding and Allison worked with me around the clock to rectify the problems (even on a Sunday!). There were also a couple last minute issues that cropped up on the day (my fault more than anything) but she fixed them with ease and the guests were none the wiser. Numerous guests actually commented that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to and there is no doubt in my mind that is directly related to Allison and Annie. Both women were extremely professional. Allison handled the coordination and so I dealt with her the majority of the time. She is such a warm and lovely person that I felt like I was working with a friend. She even stopped by the day after the wedding and dropped off all of the flowers left over from the reception so that we could have them around the property for a few more days. It was these additional touches by Allison that truly made the whole experience absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend Bliss in Bloom more to anyone looking for any of the services they provide!
