We are so thankful to Jenny and everyone at Black Fig for all their amazing help! Jenny helped us construct the most perfect menu for our outdoor rustic wedding, and the food was amazing! Jenny went above and beyond to make sure our catering needs were met and everything was in place and perfect for our day! She helped us problem solve some last minute issues that came about beyond her control and I couldn’t be more grateful and happy with how everything turned out! The food was amazing! All of our guests raved about it! Especially the Bradley’s Sausage puff pastries! I would say these are a must to add to your menu! Black Fig did an unbelievable job with my wedding! We reserved them early, because we know that they are in high demand. There was a change in staff partially through the process, but they handled it smoothly and everything was exactly as I wanted the day of. From the start, I emphasized that I wanted a seasonal, local Florida-inspired menu, and they delivered!
I was worried about how buffet style was going to work with 185 people, but it went so smoothly and there was more than enough for everyone! The food was amazing. My guests could not stop talking about it. In fact, one of my biggest regrets of my wedding was that I missed cocktail hour and the fresh fried shrimp and oysters. The chef is an absolute genius and the fact that they have recently hired a new pastry chef has only increased what they are able to do.
In all this, the highlight of my experience with this company was when everyone had gotten their food. Everyone was sitting down enjoying themselves, and the chef walked around to each table asking them how they liked their food. What a class act. The groom and I were so impressed. Overall, great food, and so much more than basic catering! -

Abby Sent on 12/02/2013I am so pleased with the food and service Black Fig provided for our wedding! We met with three catering companies and went with Black Fig because they were willing to work within our budget and other people had spoken highly of them.
I corresponded mostly through email about nailing down a menu and pricing. We we were able to taste some of the food, although not specifically what we wanted to have for our wedding. The tasting provided a good idea of the quality of the food though and gave me ideas on possible menu items.
On the wedding day, several people commented on how good the food tasted and the groom and I completely agreed! I really wanted to do a sit down dinner, but it was out of our budget. I had visions of ugly chafing dishes for a buffet, but I was pleasantly surprised that the buffet presentation looked much more elegant than I thought was possible! Black Fig had beautiful serving dishes set up for most items and the food beautifully arranged. The entire staff were so professional I hardly noticed their presence, yet plates were cleared and things cleaned up to a spotless shine.
I am so happy we used Black Fig and highly recommend them! -

Madeleine Sent on 01/25/2017Mark and the Black Fig team created incredible dishes for our day and were able to work with our vision and get it all done! They were very reasonable and upfront with the catering prices, and we ended up with some yummy leftovers for the week after our wedding!
