  Bar Harbor Catering did such an amazing job; they catered to our needs and did everything in their power to make our requests become a reality! We had an elegant/glam wedding with Disney touches and Bar Harbor Catering went above and beyond with the Disney touches that I know our guests will be talking about literally FOREVER!!! Thank you VERY much!!!

  Truly Exceptional!

  Bar Harbor Catering knocked it out of the park for our wedding reception. Food and beverage was a huge focus for us, and the crew from Bar Harbor Catering delivered 110%, dazzling us and all of our guests.
  
  Heather worked closely with us in the months leading up to the event, and day of, Mandy, Freddie, and Nick created a comprehensive dining and bar experience that felt more like an incredible, intimate pop-up from your favorite new restaurant than a traditional, catered event. Their technical culinary and bartending skill was evident, and the service element was truly exceptional – combining gracious, friendly attitudes with timing and efficiency for a crowd is no easy feat, and their attention to detail made our evening unforgettable (and delicious).
  
  This is a team of professionals capable of putting out incredible plates of food, keeping well-crafted drinks flowing, and creating a beautiful experience to compliment your celebration – highly recommended.

  Such a great experience! Would recommend

  So happy with our decision to hire Bar Harbor Catering! Heather was super responsive and flexible during the (extra long) planning phase, and the staff were so professional and really went above and beyond during the reception. The food was amazing too! 10/10 would recommend.

  Completely amazing

  The food was absolutely amazing--by far the best I've had at a wedding, and without exaggeration the best meal I've had in quite a while in any setting. Countless guests told us the same thing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful: extremely responsive and helpful leading up to the event, and then once the day arrived they worked seamlessly in the background the entire time. Couldn't recommend them enough: they just make your life better.

  Outstanding Food!

  If you are looking for a caterer for your wedding or event- do not shop around and hire Bar Harbor Catering! Because of COVID-19 and a date change we had to hire a caterer 3 months before our wedding. We were also not able to have a tasting which made me so nervous, looking back I had no reason to be nervous. We hired Bar Harbor Catering for our rehearsal dinner, wedding day and farewell breakfast. EVERYTHING WAS SO AMAZING!!! We still have guests raving about how amazing the food was. I even had some guests ask me what each course was because they are trying to re-create it at home. It was also such a wonderful surprise when we sat down at our table for toasts and speech's that they are prepared a small plate of appetizers for me and my husband. This was totally unexpected but totally what I needed! Your food was amazing, your staff was amazing, and you guys are amazing! Thank you again for everything! Kendra and Pat

  Amazing Food and Quality!

  Can't say enough good about this company!! They are first class. Heather is so incredible. She is organized, kind, and is flexible to all your needs. We changed the menu at least 6 times on her and she didn't get upset and was very willing to help. They are really so great!!

  Wonderful experience with Bar Harbor Catering!!

  A huge thank you to BHCC for the wonderful job they did for our daughter's wedding (10/2019). We worked with Heather (month of coordination) and she was so helpful! . The ceremony was at our family cottage and the reception at Hulls Cove School House. Heather coordinated the rentals and helped us with logistics, including figuring out the transportation. She calmly facilitated the rehearsal, ceremony and celebration. The food was outstanding and our friends and family raved about it...Service, from the bar to the family style service and clean up was exceptional. The attention to detail from everyone at BHCC was so appreciated! Our guests were so impressed! Highly recommend BHCC!!

  Rehearsal Lobster Bake, Reception Food & Drink, and Month of Planning

  Heather and her team did an incredible job. Not only was the food excellent, as expected, but the bar service was fantastic. We were particularly blown away by the presentation of the bar, dessert table, appetizers, table settings, etc. There we so many great details that make it clear that the team takes a lot of pride in their work! If you share your vision with Heather, she will make it happen! From a planning perspective, Heather was a huge value add as well. She calmly solved minor problems as they came up, and did a GREAT job of managing the itinerary and general flow of the party. We had a truly perfect weekend, and are SO glad we worked with the BHCC team.

  Wedding Planner Impressed

  Just wanted to give a big shout out to Bar Harbor Catering Company! I am a wedding planner (fern & flair weddings and events) and worked on my first wedding with them this past weekend. Meg was leading the event and did a fantastic job. Meg and the whole team were on top of everything. Helping put the final details together and fulfilling all of the wedding party and my requests. There is not one critique I would have for them. The performance and service seemed flawless. Not to mention the food was amazing. All the guests loved it including the vendors. Definitely one of the most professional companies I have had the opportunity to work with. They really went above and beyond going out of their way to add special service like bringing plates of appetizers on the trolley for the wedding party who had to go off to photos during cocktail hour. So thoughtful! Great job guys! Hope to work with you again in the near future!

  Bar Harbor Catering was perfect for our wedding

  Bar Harbor Catering was a dream to work with for our wedding. From initial contact, to tasting, to day of services they were extremely professional and supportive.
  
  We used BHC for the wedding catering and ‘month of’ coordinator. Both were excellent in helping us get the wedding that we were hoping for. For reference we were a relatively small wedding at ~60 guests.
  
  Catering: BHC helped us craft an entirely vegan wedding day menu. This included table snacks, grazing menu, and entrees. All were excellent and we’ve had many compliments to the food. The food was one of our biggest concerns and they executed flawlessly. For drinks we went with beer wine + a signature cocktail which were also served without issue.
  
  Note: They were able to accommodate several additional dietary restrictions without issue and went out of their way to identify and take care of these guests.
  
  Planning: Heather assisted with our planning and she has clearly built relationships in the community as she was able to liaise with the flower and tent/table/chair vendors. Day of she was very attentive and made sure that we were able to focus on the ceremony and our families rather than the details of the day.
  
  Overall, I can recommend BHC without reservation. They delivered beyond our expectations in every category. We’re very lucky to have found them.

Thankfully, Mandy and her team from Bar Harbor Catering Company were still available, and they more than delivered, helping us create the type of menu we wanted, and even threw in some thoughtful surprise touches. They clearly aim to please, and they did. The food was flavorful, sophisticated, and cooked to perfection. They elevated seemingly simple sounding dishes to a fine dining experience. The service was outstanding, too -- the servers Mandy hires are all professional and they did a really outstanding job and helped facilitate the flow of our reception, allowing us and our guests to enjoy the evening. Our guests were raving about several of the dishes, and wanted recipes (particularly the carrots!). We are actually grateful our first caterer fell through, so we could have Bar Harbor Catering Co. instead!

  We wanted a no-fuss, family-style dinner for our wedding (130 guests) that didn't leave out the vegetarians and left no one hungry-- and Bar Harbor Catering was absolutely perfect. From the cocktails and appetizers to the desserts, everything was delicious (their whoopie pie is seriously the best I've ever had!). We worked with Jennifer, and she was so responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. Their professionalism and attention to detail is extraordinary-- we can't recommend them highly enough!

  We can never thank Jennifer and the crew from Bar Harbor Catering company enough for the amazing job they did at our daughter's wedding (Sept. 2017). Everything was even more beautiful than we had imagined and they were a huge part of that. Their staff was very professional, attentive, hard-working and the food, well the food was indescribably delicious. From the very beginning with the first site visit to the tasting event (!!), to the beautiful atmosphere, to the great cleanup job, everything was just perfect. If we ever have another wedding on our property in Maine, the first call we make will be to Bar Harbor Catering!

  We loved working with Jennifer and team at Bar Harbor Catering! Our reception concept was a bit non traditional - we wanted a casual/fun cocktail party feel. BHC really delivered with flexible station concepts and awesome appetizers. Highly recommend the salad station, flatbreads and oyster sliders. Also the pie! Throughout the process the team was very responsive, professional and thoughtful. Thanks so much!

BHC really delivered with flexible station concepts and awesome appetizers. Highly recommend the salad station, flatbreads and oyster sliders. Also the pie!   Mandy and her team helped to save our "marriage in a maelstrom!" We were married during a terrible big storm and Mandy's staff were so kind and helpful to us and all our guests during the madness; they held curtains and umbrellas, rushed around in the rain, made sure my husband and I both ate a full meal and helped us stay on schedule. She served a fabulous Ottolenghi-inspired dinner that I had requested but it truly went above and beyond what I had dreamed. Everything was absolutely delicious and she did a great job of providing a dairy-free meal with lots of GF and Vegan options. We were never able to attend a tasting, which was nerve-wracking, but I needn't have worried. She made a difficult situation into a magical and unforgettable experience, for which I will be forever grateful.

  We worked with BHCC this past summer to plan our daughter's wedding and Wow! We couldn't have been more pleased with the service, the level of professionalism, the yumminess of the food. The entire planning and execution process was easeful and fun. They made it look easy.

  Bar Harbor Catering, Mandy and crew are truly the best. The food and presentation were fabulous, and the staff and bartenders helped make sure we had a great time! They handled every request perfectly, including some very last minute tricky diet limitations - going the extra mile to go purchase fish in the middle of the event to make sure the guest was taken care of.
  You will get knowledgeable, dedicated service and they think of every detail so you don't have to. Can't recommend them enough!

  The events person at our untraditional venue suggested looking into Bar Harbor Catering Company. She suggested it a few times. Despite having our minds made up to go with another vendor, we looked at BHCC's website. I'm so glad we did. Had we not, the full-service, blissfully worry-free, perfect wedding we had would never have taken place. The food was delicious. Unbelievably good. My last-minute "Ah, one of our vegetarians is a vegan," got yet another warm smile and a "We'll take care of it," and they did. Our cake was also baked by the amazing BHCC baker, and we opted not to save a layer, because we'll just order a cake next year...it was that good. But the exquisite food--while it's the best around--isn't what makes us adore BHCC beyond compare. It's the people. Mandy and Jennifer met us to discuss our menu, and we had a lovely meeting, and a very smooth menu working-out process. Then Jennifer took over, and she is already a legend in her field. The director of our venue was thrilled to see her, having worked with Jennifer a few years ago, and knowing her to be uber-capable and responsive. Anytime I had a question about anything, Jennifer answered it promptly and told me that's what she was there for. If you hire this catering company, they will set your new standard for full service. Event coordinating, dealing with nerves, solving any and every problem you might have before your wedding, providing the most excellent recommendations for other service providers...my wife and I will never be able to thank them enough. We also had a fairly small wedding--smaller than we thought, due to some family and medical issues, and we were certainly not a huge money maker for them. They never treated us as anything less than royalty. Food standouts: lobster rolls, bacon-wrapped scallops, blueberry/Brie bites, pollo al matton with risotto, steak frites, limonada, just everything.

  Bar Harbor Catering did a Rehesrsal/Welcome Dinner lobster bake on a beach for 180 people and it was spectacular. People are still talking about it.
  The food was wonderful, service attentive and they were wonderful to work with.

They met with us and listened to our ideas, needs and concerns and addressed them all. They were flexible with the menu and open to many edits before we made a final decision. The food was amazing!!! Our guests enjoyed the slider and fry bar, the street taco bar and especially the mini donuts! Overall an excellent experience!
