Perfect Antique Photobooth
We hired Dylan's hybrid tintype photobooth for our wedding, and it was nothing short of amazing! The unique hybrid method meant we got to get multiple copies for our guests to take home and to paste in our guestbook, and we got pictures of all of our 26 guests in less than an hour. Dylan was incredibly responsive and professional. Our guests raved about how cool the pictures were, and the venue added him as a recommended vendor because they loved the antique vibes the photobooth brought. Our pictures will be keepsakes for our entire lives. We would highly recommend Dylan's services for any event!

An Unforgettable Moment Captured Perfectly
If an engagement alone couldn’t get any more special, Dylan proved that it actually can! Dylan had managed to take the most incredible pictures of our engagement and even more when we switched locations to Rocky Mountain National Park. Dylan was so informative of the area and so excited to work with us even through a very intense cold and windy day. Despite the weather, the pictures still came out beautiful and Dylan really showed his expertise in his craft once we received all the pictures he took that day!
Because of Dylan and his amazing work, we now get to relive this experience over and over. He even had all the pictures he had taken processed and sent back to us within a week! So we did not have to wait long to enjoy the moment again and again. Each picture he took truly told our story and it was so fun to go back to our families to show them as if they were there with us too.
Dylan’s kindness throughout the photoshoot, professionalism, and passion in his work truly made this experience unforgettable. I do not think I could have dreamt up a better scenario with a better photographer! Thank you again, Dylan!

Dylan is spectacular, a truly wonderful and talented human. He was helpful and kind as we prepared for our wedding and a total blast to work with on the big day. He was a natural working at the mountain venue we selected and skillfully navigated tricky light situations. Hiring Dylan for his wet plate photo booth was far and away one of the best things we did for our entire wedding. We added him on as a last minute "why not" decision and he made the whole process seamless. We're still getting compliments from guests about what a cool favor it was! Elopement photographer
We really enjoyed having Dylan as our photographer for our elopement. He was the perfect ‘third wheel,’ fun to be around and easy to talk to on our important day. From the beginning he took the time to learn our vision for the day and what was important to us as a couple. He was very helpful picking out the location and did a lot of research. On the elopement day he woke up at 2 am for our sunrise ceremony and enthusiastically had ideas for photos as soon as we got to the location. We are in love with our photos and have had so many compliments on them. We would highly recommend Dylan for any elopement and wedding.

Stunning Photos
My husband and I decided that eloping in a 12,000 ft high mountain meadow at sunrise would be the only way to start our marriage and Dylan was obviously the best choice for our photographer. He went to great lengths to ensure he would meet us at the trailhead on time, entertained us with stories, even helped carry our gear briefly, and ensured that our day was the best possible experience - even after hours of hiking. We aren’t ones who are normally comfortable being photographed, but Dylan made sure that we were laughing the whole time and our photos came out absolutely stunning! We were completely thrilled during our mini “reveal party” and couldn’t stop looking through the photos for a week. To say we are overjoyed with our photos would be an understatement.

Professional, fun to work with, and so incredibly talented!
One of the best decisions we made in preparing for our elopement in the Colorado Rockies was to choose Dylan to shoot it! He is professional, fun to work with, and so incredibly talented.
My husband and I are in our 60s – and it can be a challenge to find flattering angles on older people - yet Dylan didn’t seem to find that such a big challenge. He is the King of the Golden Hour! Dylan also has an eye for finding art in any picture, and the way he incorporates depth of field into many of his photos takes them to another level.
The emotions of the day were captured so well in every photo and there were lots of creative shots that we will always treasure. He even got my husband to smile and look natural in photos without posing us!
We truly cannot thank Dylan enough for capturing our day. We are so in love with the photos and will treasure them forever. We would hire Dylan again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to anyone.

The photos of both our engagement shoot & wedding are wonderful, and totally capture the vibes of each day/shoot. Family & friends were super impressed with the photos/photographer as well! Dylan is extremely easy to work with & is great with correspondence/response time as well. Rapport-wise, working with Dylan was totally great. We have little-to-NO experience having professional pictures taken, so it was nice to have someone that can capture many great moments/beautiful shots despite any awkwardness while being nervous. Breathless!
We recently planned our wedding in Denver from the east coast, not knowing much about Colorado at all. We initially selected Dylan based on the abundance of positive reviews and are so glad we did. Not only was he incredibly experienced and helpful in the planning phase patiently answering every question and being very flexible, but WOW the photos took my breath away. I couldn’t believe how he captured our day so thoughtfully, and I am incredibly grateful I get to relive our moments forever! They are truly spectacular- the details, the light, the emotions, and the scenery. Just wow!

Dylan is a fantastic wedding photographer on many levels.
I’m not from Colorado and wasn’t very familiar with the area we were planning to do our festivities. Dylan helped ease my concern of choosing a location by scheduling meetings with us to share options and samples of locations he recommended based on what we told him was important and exciting to us. His communication in the months leading up was clear and concise and left me feeling prepared and excited for the day of.
In the couple of days prior to our wedding we had communication daily to discuss weather and sunset times. This was very helpful!
Despite all of our efforts, weather didn’t cooperate on the day of our wedding. It didn’t matter, Dylan was quick to find alternate options for us. He kept a great spirit which helped me not to feel stressed or saddened by not getting the pictures I had hoped for for so long.
Then, the rain stopped and Dylan was the first to say, “let’s head back up the mountain!”
His artistic eye is fantastic and even though we didn’t get all the locations I had hoped for (not his fault- weather) what Dylan was able to capture in a very short amount of time is/was breathtaking!
The other element that needs to be pointed out is how comfortable he made the process of being photographed. We were having fun and you can see that in our pictures. That is a gift!
If you are looking for a wedding photographer in Colorado (or elsewhere) Dylan is definitely a great option!

Exceedes All Expectations
I can not be more happy with my experience. Dylan was always fast to get back with me, reassuring when i was stressed, he helped make our elopement fun and was involved without being to involved so we still felt like we could focus on eachother. He's a great guy, and he got me every picture i wanted and even the ones i didn't know i wanted. He had great locations, suggestions, and easily adapted whenever I had a spur of the moment idea.
We got married on May 4th and he even made our lightsaber battle shoot something to be remembered. His work speaks for itself but I cannot recommend him enough. I live in Michigan so had to do all my planning from afar and he made the process so easy. Did I mention we got our pictures back in less than a week and they are all phenomenal! Thank you Dylan, you really are THE BEST!!

Best Decision We Made
I really cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Dylan. He did our engagement and wedding pictures and both experiences were amazing. Both days were less than ideal conditions, the sky was dull (and Dylan is a master of working with light) and our wedding day was -8 degrees and snowing! Despite the challenges, Dylan was able to capture magical photos from scenes that, from our perspective, didn't seem very special at all. When I see the work of other photographers, it is nothing compared to Dylan's work. Honestly, Dylan was the best choice we made for our wedding day...he was able to turn some bizarre and less than ideal situations around to give us stunning photos we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Highly recommend a Dylan Burr Production!
Dylan and his team were amazing to work with. It's not easy to plan a wedding through a pandemic, but Dylan was incredibly flexible in helping to nail down the logistics of capturing our wedding exactly how we wanted. He did our engagement shoot and every event for our wedding, a traditional Hindu multi-day affair. He and his team were able to meticulously capture all of the important moments and the general atmosphere of the occasion. One of the things we absolutely loved was that in our couples portrait photos and bridal party photos, Dylan had us play games and caught us in spontaneous moments that captured our relationship rather than traditional poses. Finally, the video footage he put together was well edited and flowed beautifully. We were able to give input on the music and footage as well! Intimate Hiking Elopement
Dylan made our day such an amazing experience from beginning to end! We decided on an intimate hiking elopement, just the two of us self-solemnizing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The only vendor we needed was a photographer to come along and document our day, and we found the perfect guy! Not only did Dylan give us AMAZING photos, he made our day perfect. He knows the area very well, and he brought us to the most breathtaking spots. He spent the day hiking and laughing with us like we already knew each other. When people ask about our wedding day, I tell them it was the best hike I've ever done and the most fun wedding I've ever been to, and we owe so much of that to Dylan. I told him what I had pictured in my head for our day, and he made it happen. He found the places that I'd imagined and brought us there during prime light for the photos, which turned out amazing. I was wonderfully surprised when I received so many more photos than I thought he took. While we thought we were just hiking and having fun, Dylan had stealthily dipped off to the sides and captured those moments. Friends and family say the pictures look like they belong in a fairy tale storybook. I absolutely recommend him!

Wonderful Photographer - Spectacular Shots
Dylan Burr was a wonderful wedding photographer. Dylan arranged to meet me and my husband a few weeks before the wedding to get to know our personalities a bit. We explained that we don’t like traditional “say cheese” type photos and wanted moments and smiles caught to be truly natural. We also wanted fun, beautiful and grand backdrops. On our wedding day Dylan took us to several gorgeous places around Lookout Mountain in Golden. He encouraged us to talk to each other in ways that would allow him to capture perfect, natural shots. He created an atmosphere where sometimes we almost forgot he was even taking photos. Dylan even drove us back out to the mountain after the first round of photos—he was determined to capture the sunset. And those photos turned out to be our absolute favorites. If you want someone to capture those intense feelings of love you and your husband will feel at your wedding, and capture them in a natural yet spectacular way, I would highly recommend Dylan.

Incredible professional photographer
I cannot recommend Dylan highly enough. He photographed our wedding, and did an incredible job capturing the day. We had never worked with a photographer before, and he made it feel easy and fun. He walked us through the whole thing without making us feel the least bit dumb, and the end result is an album full of spectacular pictures. He also communicated effectively and professionally throughout the process. We will happily work with Dylan again!

Highly recommend! Working with Dylan was amazing!
I initially contacted Dylan because of his profile, we were planning a sunset wedding and I love his use of light and style. When sunset became sunrise, he was really flexible and overall great to work with. We had a slight miscommunication at the end of the ceremony with my husband announcing for everyone to essentially leave, but Dylan did his best to direct everyone for pictures. We are both kind of awkward in pictures and with posing, but we both felt comfortable the whole time. Most of the morning while getting ready and throughout the reception I barely noticed him, but he was there capturing all the things I missed. We are both stunned and so excited to have received all of our pictures just five days after the wedding, and are still going through and finding new favorites!

Amazing time with great photos!
Dylan was incredibly professional and made my husband and I very comfortable from the quaint ceremony all the way to the three of us running off into the mountains for couple shots. Even though it was very cold on top of RMNP, it was more than worth it to get the beautiful pictures we ended up with. We would definitely recommend Dylan for anyone who wants breathtaking photos and stress-free photography on their special day.

Engagement Photos
We were bummed when Dylan was already booked up for our wedding date in December but decided to have him do our engagement photos in the fall. What this guy does with lighting is nothing short of ahhh-mazing! He drove with us up to capture the aspen leaves changing and took some breathtaking shots. He was incredibly personable and made us feel very comfortable the entire time. The extra touch of providing us a high quality, enlarged canvas of our favorite photo was a really nice touch. We highly recommend Dylan for any photography needs that you may have. He is wonderful!

Absolutely Stunning Work!
We invested a lot of time researching the perfect photographer to shoot our elopement. We wanted a photographer who could capture the essence of ourselves and connect us with the outdoors we love. Dylan’s portfolio speaks for itself, and it was an easy choice to book our date once we reached out to him. Dylan was professional throughout the day and made us feel very comfortable in front of the lens. He has a true connection and knowledge of the Colorado Rockies and took us to several breathtaking locations during our shoot. An amazing guy with an amazing eye!
There aren't words to adequately express how pleased and impressed we were with Dylan. He definitely has the "eye" and we were blown away with our pictures for both our engagement session and wedding. The cherry on top is that he was so much fun to work with and had us laughing the entire time. He definitely went the extra mile, dashing all over the mountain side to get that perfect angle and timing our session just right to get that perfect sunset light. His enthusiasm for his craft was apparent in everything he did. As an added bonus, the turn around time to get our pictures was shockingly fast!

One of the Best!!!
Dylan was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding day (except marrying my husband, of course, lol)!! We had a multi-day, multi-cultural (Indian and American) destination wedding in Colorado from Texas and Dylan accommodated our schedule during our multiple visits to Colorado to meet with and get to know us, take our engagement photos, and capture our pre-wedding events and wedding pictures. We immediately got along with him and were put at ease – kind of like meeting an old friend. We were so impressed at how he listened to what we really wanted and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Our wedding had so many moving parts (two full wedding ceremonies, cocktail hour, and reception in one long 16 hour day) and he and his crew captured everything – from important still shots of us and our families to candid moments that were both touching and hilarious. He has a true skill of knowing when to capture candid shots and is very adept at using natural lighting to create stunning moments. We had a small pre-wedding event the night before and when I asked if he could send someone from his team to photograph that event, he said that he would be there and that the photography “always starts with him” – I think you have to really appreciate someone who puts that kind of energy and passion into what they do. We also did our videography through Dylan and he gave us exactly what we asked for and was able to really edit down to what was important to us. He was very quick with his turnaround on our photography and videography so there was no waiting for months to get our wedding photos. He truly captured who we were as a couple in the most beautiful way and we couldn’t be happier with our experience!

Dylan's pictures are amazing!!
Dylan's skill behind the camera captured so many details of our backyard boho wedding, including everything from intimate moments between family members, to gorgeous wooded couple shots, and panoramic views of our meadow ceremony. He handled the setting sun and changing locations with professionalism, and our pictures are a range of colorful to romantic to dusky to sweet. He was always present when needed but never in the way, and shot both family pictures and candid moments with his gorgeous signature look. I was more than impressed with Dylan's skills and he was pleasant, friendly, and warm and kept things light and fun during what can sometimes be stressful wedding moments. He communicated quickly and was very helpful before the wedding, and our pictures were delivered so fast afterwards! And of course the ceremony video was amazing, he is truly talented as both a photographer and videographer. Dylan will make your wedding memories beautiful for years to come and I highly recommend him!

Dylan is the best!! I am completely obsessed with how my wedding photos turned out. When we were viewing our gallery for the first time, I started to cry because I couldn't believe how amazing they were. I got so many compliments on the pictures from family and friends. Everyone loves them! Beyond being incredibly talented, Dylan was so nice and easy to work with. We were so awkward, and had no idea what to do, where to look or put our hands, but Dylan gave us great instruction and we looked amazing. Do yourself a favor and give him a call!

We had a four day 'adventure wedding' photo...adventure!...with Dylan starting in the San Juan forest in Colorado and ending in Santa Cruz in California. Dylan was creative, fun, and energetic. He managed to put us at ease and capture some incredible images in a variety of landscapes, lighting, etc. It was an amazing experience and we couldn't have had it with him! When Daniel and I began planning our wedding we knew that we wanted to have a professional photographer there to document our day. We did not know where to start, but a friend recommended Dylan’s services. Upon viewing his online portfolio we knew that we wanted to speak to him. He had a creative vision, great use of light, and we loved how he framed couples naturally in their surroundings.
Dylan was a great communicator, professional, and most importantly FUN! He took the time to get to know us over the phone and in person before our wedding day. He made us feel at ease with him immediately – very important when you’re not used to being in front of a camera! He gave us helpful tips and tricks to make our photos come alive and kept us laughing and having a great time throughout the day.

I was getting married out of state and had no idea where to start, and Dylan helped recommend hairstylists, and officials to marry us, spots that would be great for pictures. He talked to me on the phone for over a hour getting to know me, asking what I like, what I didn’t like, asking about my husband and what we thought about some of his ideas. Everytime I had questions even if it wasn’t about photography, he had very quick responses. Talking to him was like we had been friends for years! I very highly recommend Dylan Burr for his photography. He is the absolute best photographer we could've chosen for our wedding day. The photos are stunning, clear, crisp, and the way he uses natural light just takes my breath away. He was so much fun and accommodated any photos that we had requested. He captured our special day in the best ways possible. We had done our engagement photos before we found him and because of that he met with us a few times before the wedding so he could get to know us which allowed us to get to know him as well which I think is really awesome because it showed us that he doesn't just care about taking your photos, but he wants to make them as personal to you as he can. We would absolutely recommend Dylan. He is affordable and provides very high quality photographs. He was able to turn what can be an awkward experience of getting engagement photographs into a fun adventure and our pictures turned out great! It was freezing and pouring rain on our wedding day and Dylan and his team without complaint photographed our outdoor ceremony. In our final pictures you can't even tell that the weather was horrible! Dylan is professional, easy to communicate with, and produces beautiful photographs. We were so lucky to have Dylan, he did an amazing job. Our original photographer was unable to go because her passport was expired, we told Dylan what was going on, and he was on a plane to Mexico 24-hours later.
He had a plan for every event, and each photo did a tremendous job capturing each moment. The first round of completed pictures are incredibly detailed, we were on the beach, and the pictures looked impressive.
Dylan came snorkelling, and the underwater pictures are great. Everyone has loved the photos, and we plan on using Dylan for an another session soon. Thank you, Dylan!

WOW!!!! That is exactly what came out of my mouth when Dylan sent us our photos. (And a HUGE smile to add to it) I spent HOURS researching & contacting photographers. Dylan's communication was spot on from the beginning. He was quick to respond and that is always a plus. (Especially with the time frame we were dealing with)
My husband & I are from out of state and I wrote Dylan asking if he had time to take some mountain photos of us & our pups in our wedding attire. Our small destination wedding didn't work out for family and this was the closest thing I was going to get to it. Dylan had the availability & was up for the adventure. (And what an adventure it was) We will never forget the wonderful experience we had with him. I told Dylan my ultimate goal & wants for the afternoon.... I let him run with the idea & we sat back & put our trust in him. We really weren't sure where we were driving, what our day was going to entail & in the end..... I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I trusted Dylan, his love for adventure & his knowledge of the area. I am so glad that we chose him to be our photographer because his eye for detail is incredible. Every time I look at our photos, it brings me back to our trip & the wonderful memories he helped us create. I'm excited to show these photos off during the holidays. Working in the design industry I knew I was going to be picky when it came to wedding photos and videos. I researched a lot of photographers, even the one our venue recommended. Their images were very pretty, but the videography was definitely lacking. And I didn’t want to art direct my wedding day.
But when I found Dylan, it’s sad to admit, but I was probably as excited as the day I got engaged! His photos were gorgeous and his video editing and effects were flawless! After our hour long phone conversation, I knew he was the one. Dylan goes above and beyond. He knew we wanted snowy mountain engagement photos and was more than willing to reschedule our shoot a few different times when the Colorado weather wasn’t cooperating. By the time our wedding day came around we were so comfortable with Dylan, it felt more like a friend taking our photos rather than a photographer we found on the internet.
My only piece of advice for brides reading this, besides stopping the search and booking Dylan, is: Trust Him. Even when you think he might be crazy. Like telling you to stand under a half-dead willow tree with flies and other bugs on your wedding day, do it. Have complete trust in his vision—those photos were completely magical and ended up being our absolute favorites!
Also, for design nerds like me, Dylan made his transition effects by scanning vintage film strips and individually slicing them, which is pretty cool too! That just speaks to his passion, he lets nothing slip and will never not go above and beyond—that’s just his way.

I have known Dylan now for 3 years - first time meeting was when he filmed our wedding (my favorite thing to look back on from that day). Since then we have been fortunate enough to work with him on 4 new photo shoots. I came up with what most would consider a crazy idea (my husband included!) to do an anniversary shoot in our wedding attire for the 4 seasons. I cannot tell you how lucky we are to have someone who can look at these crazy ideas and take them above and beyond. Dylan is absolutely amazing. He takes the time and the risk to get the most unbelievable shots. Every response I've received from people who see our photos is one of awe and speechlessness (particularly our winter and spring shoots!) I cannot thank him enough for going out on a limb and giving us some of the best photos and best memories. For anyone looking for a brazen photographer, there's no one else is recommend!

Not only is Dylan an amazing photographer, he's a great guy! He drove from Denver to Estes Park to photograph our ceremony then drove us into Rocky Mountain National Park and hiked 2.5 miles with us to take stunning pictures in the mountains. He sent the pictures to us within a few days and they are absolutely breathtaking. I cannot recommend Dylan enough. If you are in the Denver area, he's the photographer you want.

As like many other bride and grooms, especially unfamiliar with the area, there were a lot of options for photography/ cinematography for our special day. Upon speaking with Dylan, it was clear how passionate he is about capturing every moment and tiny details of our wedding. He greeted us with enthusiasm and creatively began working on how he could make our wedding memorable. It was a shock to finally talk to someone that was as excited for our big day as we were. Dylan explained pricing for the value we were getting and even provided vimeo links, photos and other clients reviews which made us confident in him.
On the day of the wedding, Dylan and his team showed a tremendous amount of experience and creativity in placing our bridal party in locations with great backdrops, utilizing sun, shade and surrounding elements that made the final product extremely breath taking! Once all the formalities of the reception had taken place, Dylan asked my bride and I if we would like to take some outside shots due to the fact that a rare fog had taken over the mountain and would provide for some beautiful shots! This is just a tid bit of the care that Dylan and his team provides for clients,they are not just "have camera will travel" but are completely infatuated with their love of photography. After the event was over, Dylan kept contact with us constantly sending us album previews for review and potential editing. However, my Wife and I are extremely OCD when it comes to a lot of things and yet surprisingly enough, we did not request one edit for the video or the album. They put our DVD's with the photos in a double disc case, with our photos for the case and the discs (Gorgeous!!). We received so many shocked and overwhelmed expressions at how professional the DVD was.
To conclude, I implore you to look at Dylan's work, talk to them and you will feel as blown away as my wife and I feel right now. There are many hard decisions for your wedding, Dylan isn't one of them!

We were very fortunate to have Dylan from Aventura Photo Video fly out to Chicago to memorialize our special day! Dylan is passionate about his work and art, and created some special wet plate images that we were able to incorporate into our one of a kind save the dates. Dylan with Aventura took photo's of our newborn when he was one month old. As you can imagine, its not easy to get the perfect shot with a tiny baby that doesn't want to cooperate! To top it off, our 2 year old son had to find time in his busy schedule to sit still for a few shots as well. Dylan made the day one we will never forget. The memories we have from the photo book will last a life time. The photo's are absolutely stunning and it was all done in the comfort of our own home. As soon as I saw Dylan's work, I was obsessed. The light in his photos is absolutely unreal its so gorgeous. When it came to picking a photographer, once I saw Dylan's work there was no contest. His photos were unbelievably flawless and each and every one of his videos made me cry, I didn't even know the people in them!
Dylan was so easy to work with and worked to accommodate my every need. I asked A LOT of questions and had A LOT of requests and Dylan never acted bothered by any of them, instead he was always there answering my calls and emails, putting my mind at ease.
He made the engagement photo shoot such a fun experience and was so great with picking places to shoot that we would have never known about.
At the wedding, we were comfortable from the engagement shoot and felt at ease as Dylan captured our special day. THE DETAILS. That's what I wanted captured from our day and I knew Dylan was the guy to do it. All the tiny touches you put into your wedding, he will capture. Him and his team were very professional and had a great sense of humor and were very flexible throughout the entire day.
I could not be more pleased with the way our photos and film turned out. Dylan is so thoughtful in all he does for his clients and his prices are very reasonable for the rich caliber of his work. I was so thankful he fit into my budget with both a film and photos and his delivery of both was so timely after the wedding.

We discovered Aventura Photo/Video while browsing through wedding videos online. Dylan's videos really caught our eyes. Dylan and his team did the photography and videography for our wedding. His team was very easy and fun to work with and they thought of all of the logistics that we wouldn't have thought of prior to the big day. He was very flexible and worked with us to attend to all of our wishes. The photos and videos that they captured were more than we could have imagined and we will cherish those memories forever. From the moment we looked at Dylan's website we knew we wanted him to photograph our wedding, then after our first conversation we knew that we had made the right choice. Dylan captured our wedding in a way that makes us feel like we are reliving the day, and who wouldn't want to get to relive their wedding day? His photos were beyond amazing and already are filling the walls of our home! Besides the amazing photos that speak for themselves, Dylan is a cool guy to get to hang out with, he made it a point to learn our style and personalities and when he was shooting our wedding we enjoyed having him around, good times for sure. Choosing Dylan Burr of Aventura Photo/Video for my wedding was one of the best decisions I could have made. A wedding should be a once in a lifetime event. You only get one opportunity to document your day. Before you know it, your wedding is nothing but a memory, so, if you choose Aventura Photo/Video, you get to re-live your wedding day.
Dylan is amazing at what he does. He is a badass family man who loves photography, is educated, skilled, creative, and easy-going. He really, actually, truly does want your pictures to be you. That's his style. He will give you direction if you want it, otherwise, just be you and he'll work with it. Dylan made my husband, Dave, and I feel so comfortable during our photo shoots that I can remember what we were talking about or laughing about during that picture. That's what I mean about re-living a moment!
When it comes to professionalism, he is spot on. His contracts are straight forward, he leaves no questions unanswered, is on time for appointments, is available by text, phone, or email, and is quick in his responses. The quality of his work is worth every penny he charges. He is flexible not only with price, engagement/wedding site distance, because he will travel, but is flexible with difficult personalities as well. I say this because Dylan deserves credit for the effort he put in to dealing with my father.

We had the pleasure of hiring Dylan and his team at Aventura Photo/Video for our wedding photos and videography last October. Dylan’s work speaks for itself. What you see on his website is not a trick – his work really is consistently stunning. Our photos and video turned out just as beautifully as all the other work in his portfolio, even with some very challenging conditions with the post-flood scenery around our venue. Dylan is truly passionate about the technical and artistic side of the business. His design background comes through in the style, sense of drama, and novelty he brings to settings up shots, yet we also loved that he strived to capture us as we are naturally, without being posed.
What we didn’t plan for when looking for a photographer was finding someone who was simply a great person to have by our side on our wedding day – on top of being a “light ninja” behind the camera, Dylan is funny, caring, and enthusiastic. His sheer excitement over capturing beautiful images was downright contagious and he genuinely cared about the meaning of the day, not just snapping some photos of an event. He took a lot of time getting to know us and, by our wedding day, felt more like another friend who was celebrating with us. He was fun without being obtrusive though and was very conscientious of making it a meaningful day that was photographed rather than a “photo shoot” detracting from us actually experiencing the day. He captured my husband and I genuinely enjoying special moments as newlyweds, not posing for photos. Besides your spouse, your photographer is probably the person you will spend the most time with on your wedding day, so it was more valuable than we initially realized to have someone who “got” that the day is about celebrating the marriage of two people.

We hired Dylan about 2 weeks before our wedding not knowing anything about videography other than we knew we wanted our vows recorded. Dylan was awesome from the start. He had mentioned he likes to get to know his clients vs respond back and forth via email and when talking to him on the phone for the very first time, it's like you have known him for awhile. He is very down to earth, professional, extremely creative, funny and you can tell he loves his job. We hired Dylan and his crew for our wedding which took place on top of Vail Mountain. Weather was a factor as they shut down the gondola with me on top of the mountain and groom with all guests at the bottom. We had wind, some rain, thunder, lightning but all was recorded and our video is amazing. I would highly recommend hiring Aventura to film your wedding.
Dylan is a true artist and overall great person.

In looking for a videographer for our elopement in the mountains, my husband & I wanted someone who could really capture who we are as a couple. Dylan far exceeded our expectations-he is creative, spontaneous, professional, and has a great sense of humor! Our video is a gift for us to share with our family that is irreplaceable. Dylan took time in filming unique moments of the surrounding areas of Aspen that were tailored to who we are, and this made the final product even more magical. It is a moment in time, on film, that shows the nuances of our love and the fun we had on our special day. At the last minute we asked Dylan to also take photos, and he was able to juggle both video and photo to get all the shots by the river. Altogether, we are now able to share everything with our families so that they can experience being there with us on that day in May. We would highly recommend working with Aventura Photo/Video. It was the most important choice we made in planning our wedding!

Dylan is awesome and so creative! He did amazing engagement shots for us and on day of wedding was fabulous too! It rained during our ceremony, and he and his associate photographer kept shooting despite the rain and remained so professional and with great attitudes the whole time. We can't wait to see the final product but from what we have seen so far, I am positive we will be more than impressed and happy with the finished photos!

Ahhhhhh-mazing!
Our wedding was just featured on a local blog and as I looked at the pictures on this third party website I was blown away again by the wedding photos and video. I was amazed at the beauty, emotion, and love that was captured in the stills of our wedding day. And those emotions are magnified tenfold in our video. I have watched the video 20 times at least to relive the day and every single emotion comes back while watching it. What joy! If your debating about a video, definitely splurge and get a video and have Aventura do it. Many friends have approached me about our video and said that it was the best one they have ever seen. It told such a story. They regretted that they didn't know of Aventura when they got married but would pass the word along to anyone else. Aventura not only captures the beauty, emotion and love of the day but all the small details that I wouldn't want to forget as well. I highly recommend Aventura Photo and Video.

My husband and I have had SO MUCH FUN working with Dylan of Aventura Photo & Video. We hadn’t initially planned on having a video of our wedding, but it was absolutely the best decision we could have made. Dylan met with us, discussed our ideas through several emails and phone calls, and was a pleasure to have as part of the wedding day. And we are thrilled with the product and how it absolutely captured my honey and I and the day we had created with our friends and family. We have already watched our video over and over and over again, reliving the day, and are looking forward to watching it with our families as well. The artistry and personality Dylan invests into his work shines through in the final product. I would absolutely recommend Aventura as part of your wedding celebration.
