Like Family! Book them now!

Selecting Annapolis Wedding Chapel as the officiant for our wedding at Quiet Waters Park was the *best vendor decision* we made of our entire wedding. Loveta, who runs the place, and Laura, who was our officiant, are kind people who know their stuff. They have a wealth of knowledge that they are not shy about sharing with you, and this really helped us to plan things out perfectly. The most amazing thing to us was that, while we had only just met them and had maybe 90 minutes at most talking to them and answering questions, they developed the most beautiful, personal ceremony for us. This was driven home when, a few weeks after our wedding, we attended another couple's wedding. Their ceremony could've been used on any other couple and you wouldn't have known the difference. We also attended two more weddings this summer and both had a friend or family member do the ceremony. Loveta and Laura's ceremony was *just as personal* as these friends and family members. Our guests even commented on how surprised they were at the beautiful ceremony and asked if we knew Laura!! I can't recommend Loveta and Laura enough!

Wonderful Ceremony!

My husband and I had a great experience with Loveta. She met with us ahead of time to get to know us and was able to create a great ceremony that spoke to us as a couple. We were able to get married outside in the garden and loved the space as well!

Friendly and Easy Going

Loveta was wonderful to work with. After having to move our large ceremony to next year, we were looking for a place to have a small, intimate ceremony with just our family. This is a great place! Everything was super easy to set up and we had a great ceremony.

Love is in her name and in her ceremonies

We chose Annapolis Wedding Chapel as an alternative to the courthouse and could not have been happier! Loveta and Siobhan made our day snag-free and full of joy. The planning was super easy and straightforward. Loveta has done this a million times and it shows through her professionalism, humor, and laid back demeanor. We were able to relax and completely enjoy our custom intimate ceremony.

Loveta wrote the most beautiful ceremony for us to use at Quiet Waters Park. She made us (and the guests) laugh and cry with her sweet, personalized words. And she gave us beautiful copies of our vows, ceremony, and all the legal paperwork we need to make my name change. Can't say enough good things about her!

I LOVEEEEEEDDDDDD Everything about my wedding. Loveta was AWESOME in every aspect from start to finish. I made 2 changes to my ceremony 2-3 before the ceremony and she had no problem accommodating us. If you're looking for a small romantic place, Annapolis wedding chapel is it! Everyone that we invited said the place was beautiful and they are still talking 2 weeks later :-). I've read reviews about Loveta being "rude" and I can't believe it. From the very beginning she was straight forward and to the point. When my now wife and I left, all I could say was 'wow, she's been doing this a while and she knows what she's doing' I was thoroughly impressed. 5 stars alllll the way across!!

Yes yes and yes! Loveta is wonderful! Amazing! The venue is gorgeous and I mean gorgeous outside patio and for the money you won't find better!!! Loveta is sweet and patient and very good with words!! She wrote our vows and captured everything we wanted to say! Thank you again Loveta for a wonderful wedding!! I couldn't be more happier, and a lot of my happiness is due to you!!! She put out all my sashes! The patio was just gorg!!! I couldn't rave enough!!

We LOVED Loveta! She made our ceremony so special. Everything that was important to us was included and it was perfect for us. Loveta suggested a nearby park which turned out to be where our beautiful intimate ceremony took place. She thinks of everything, from the beautiful words to stepping out of the way for certain pictures. She has a great speaking voice and is very professional. Her communication is prompt and she was very flexible when family members were running late to rehearsal and wedding.

Loveta is AWESOME!!! Midway through planning I decided to change from having the ceremony at the chapel, to having a backyard ceremony at my grandparents home, and she was very flexible with me! She was always quick to answer any questions that I had and was super helpful! She made the ceremony so personable, and special, and left us with lots of info for the name changing process which I thought was so considerate! I could not ask for a better officiant!

Wow! Loveta is a true professional. Our wedding was perfect. We were so amazed at the beautiful Chapel and grounds. If you are looking for a small venue that is beautiful and affordable I would highly recommend Annapolis Wedding Chapel.

If your looking for an officiant that will make your vows personal, and include all of your family then look no further! My friends and family all said that my ceremony was awesome and extremely personal. It was direct and to the point, but still had some traditional aspects.

They personalized the vows just for us. I changed the time of the wedding two days before without any issues at all. Romantic and perfect in every way.

This venue is the perfect place if you want something more than going to the court house. Small private wedding on site with a few family and friends is just what we needed. Lovetta did a beautiful job making our day special!

Loveta was amazing as our officiant. We only met with her a couple times and our vows were amazing that she put together! It was like she had known us for years the way she incorporated things from our life into the ceremony. She made our guests laugh and cry with her words and also kept the ceremony short which is what I had asked for. The package she put together for us after the ceremony was great. She gave both sets of parents and us a copy of the whole ceremony. Also she included the details on how to change your name if you wanted and what legally had to be changed even if you don't change your name. I will definitely recommend everyone to her.

Was able to get a ceramony set up in a short amount of time that was wonderful. I would recommend this venue to anyone. The personalization of the ceramony was fantastic.

Loveta knows weddings!!! She asked great questions to get to know us, and the type of service that would fit our personalities. Perfect for a small or budget conscious wedding. We brought her the chair sashes and pergola bouquets and she had everything ready to go on the big day! We took advantage of the beautiful venue and had some pictures taken in one of the woodsy nooks. I already recommended the Annapolis Wedding Chapel to a woman at my gym who will be having her wedding there in March.

How do I begin? Loveta made our wedding ceremony absolutely perfect. In our conversations prior, she asked questions and really listened, and she "got" us. She was so pleasant and friendly and really made us feel comfortable. We didn't want anything overly religious or spiritual, and she hit the nail on the head. We were smiling the whole time, as what she was saying was so true and so us. Leading up to the wedding, she was always available for questions or concerns. On the day, she even presented us with a whole packet of information including our signed marriage license and "what to do next." She certainly made our wedding day wonderful.

Loveta married us at Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa last month and the ceremony was perfect! She wrote a very personalized ceremony and even gave us a copy of everything for keepsake. If you're looking for a heartfelt, personalized ceremony I would definitely recommend Loveta!

My husband and I knew we wanted a small, intimate wedding but couldn't find anything that wouldn't break the bank--that is, until we found Loveta at Annapolis Wedding Chapel. Loveta was amazing! She helped us plan our wedding without alot of fuse. It was beautiful and memorable. We were even able to include our dog this is like a second child in the ceremony. If you want to plan a simple but yet elegant wedding this is the place to go!

I can not begin to put into words how AMAZING Loveta is. My Husband and I decided that we wanted a private ceremony just between us and God. I reached out to Loveta Monday night. By Tuesday afternoon everything was set for out Thursday ceremony. We arrived Thursday night in between rain drops. The rain held off just enough for us to have our dream ceremony outside under the stars. Loveta was so kind to take some pictures for us. We can not thank her enough! Everything was perfect and stress free thanks to Loveta. I also have to Thank Flowers by Sharon for my beautiful and perfect bouqet. Our wedding went beyond our expectations. The lady who runs the chapel is very non judge mental, thoughtful, and sincere. She made me fell very comfortable and at ease. I would recommend their services to any one looking for a small wedding. Couldn't have been any better. Great job!

I couldnt have asked for anything better! I called at about 8:30am the day before I wanted to get married....no problems with scheduling at all. I had no problems reaching the chapel to speak with someone....considering I called about 10 times that morning and then resorted to emailing because I felt bad...lol! Everything was perfect!

I had scheduled my wedding for May. When I discovered that Loveda would not be available, I moved my wedding date to December. That's how important it was that Loveta orchestrate my marriage ceremony and reception. I became acquainted with Loveda when my daughter married. I was so impressed with her efficiency, her eye to detail and her connections that I had to have her. Loveta sees the big picture and is ready for any situation. There is no sudden problem that she can't correct. Other brides may face stressful situations but I never did because I had Loveta. I know that she will be successful because she is so caring, flexible, and realizes what is needed to make a wedding all that it can be, whether large or small. If you are getting married, Loveta is the answer to a perfect wedding.

My June 2008 wedding reception was held at Paul's on the South River (sadly closed in December 2009) after a cermony at my church. Lovetta Wilen, Paul's on the South River general manager, was excellent. Thoughout the process of planning our wedding and on the special day, she served as planner, advisor, and master of ceremonies. Her experience in the wedding industry comes through every step of the way. She provided guidance for finding vendors and always with the goal of not busting the bank. Always practical and straight to the point- Lovetta knows how to organize and execute so that the bride and groom as well as guests have a memorable experience.

Loveta Wilen is wonderful to work with. She gave me and my husband some great advice when planning for our wedding, and was able to recommend some great vendors. Our photographer and DJ were recommended by her, and both did an amazing job.

My husband and I were married on April 27, 1991 and Loveta Wilen, now with Annapolis Wedding Chapel, made the day really special for us and our guests. Loveta provided extra touches, great service and was personable and professional before, during and after the event!

Wedding was November 12, 1994, @ Paul's on the South River in Riva, Maryland. Loveta Wilen, the general manager, took care of EVERYTHING for us, including food, drink, and cake. She was terrific - we had no worries at all that day, and everything went just as we had planned.

Lovely venue

I was worried about the venue space and the amount of guests, but it worked out for what our final goal was. It was very lovely and personal for us. Will recommend to others.

My husband and i decided to have a small and affordable wedding. We both liked this chapel and decided to go and talk with Ms. Wilen. While planning this event Ms.Wilen was pleasent. On the day of the wedding she was not as professional as we had experience while planning. As our guest arrived she became very nasty and started screaming at our guest and being very demanding. I am big on respecting others and my guest are the same. I believe if i paid my money upfront and did not have any issues on my part than Ms. Wilen shouldve been more inviting. Due to her actions she has made this a big deal breaker for me and i would not recommend any one else to her. None of this was brought to my attention until we were at our reception. I had to spend my time at my reception appologizing to my guest for what had taken place. If she is reading this please brush up on your professionalism it can cost you plenty of customers. I must say that the chapel is nice and clean. But thats the only good part about it. We married in late 2014

We had our wedding at this venue. The grounds was kept nice and clean however Loveta i found to be very unprofessional yelling and screaming at my guest. It change the mood of myself and my party. I will not recommend this venue to anyone. Loveta acted nice at first until she got paid. After that her true colors came out...
