I found out about Amanda by searching for local make-up artists on here. My wedding was only two months away at the time so I knew most artists would not be available, but Amanda got back to me right away to set up a trial. She even met with me over Easter weekend to do the trial because it was the only weekend I would be in town before my wedding! She did such an amazing job and I received so many comments on how beautiful my make-up was. I did not look overdone or fake in any way!

I loved Amanda, she did a fantastic job! We had a trial a couple of months before the wedding and it went really well, there was a couple of changes I wanted to make and she made note of it and every thing was prefect on my wedding day!

She traveled an hour over the Bay Bridge on Memorial Day weekend to do my make-up and she was even early. She listened to exactly what my bridesmaids wanted and they looked beautiful! And my make up looked exactly how I wanted it, I even got the false eyelashes and they looked better than I could of imagined! It was 80+ degrees outside and humid and my makeup lasted all night even through all the sweat and tears! She did a fabulous job!

Amanda was absolutely wonderful, I could not have asked for a more professional and talented make-up artist to make me look my best on my wedding day. She was flexible, and met with me several times before the wedding to make sure that I looked just the way I wanted for my day. She arrived on time to my venue, and was able to make not just me, but all of my bridal party look stunning. Many of the guests commented after the wedding on how great our make-up was. Amanda was great and I would highly recommend her to other brides.

I was very happy to have found Amanda J. She was really a pleasure to work with, and did a fantastic job with my make-up for my wedding. She has an eye for flattering colors, and will listen to how you want it to look. My make-up did not look over-done, but was enough to enhance my look for the occasion and show up in pictures. And it lasted all night! My bridesmaids loved their make-up as well, we all felt gorgeous! Amanda was very professional - she arrived to my house on time and prepared, and was so sweet. I will definitely recommend her to my friends in the future when it is their turn.

Amanda was awesome throughout the whole wedding planning process. She answered all of my questions in the months leading up to the wedding.

On the day of, she did my make up, three of my bridesmaid's, my mom's and my mother in law's make up. Both of the mom's don't normally wear a lot of make up, but they both loved it and felt great! Everyone looked wonderful and not too made up.

I highly recommend Amanda if you are looking for a make up artist. She did a GREAT job and wasn't ridiculously expensive like other make up artists in the business.

Amanda was amazing! I decided at the last minute to book a make-up artist for my wedding and ended up choosing Amanda on the spot after her complimentary trial. My mom and I liked the trial so much, my mom decided to have Amanda do her make-up, too.

On the day of the wedding Amanda was prompt and ready to go! She did my mom's make-up first and it looked fabulous! My mom has a skin condition that makes her face red and blotchy and after Amanda was done (and the rest of the night) you would have never known! My make-up was next and the transformation was fabulous! My maids kept telling me that I looked like a china doll, the make-up was that flawless. Amanda then had the idea to put fake lashes on me (at no extra charge) and they looked fantastic in the photographs...I looked like a 40s movie star! I loved the way I looked, the way my make-up held up over the 14 hours (pictures, ceremony, reception, and after party), and the way the photographs turned out.

Lastly, Amanda was super affordable compared to other make-up artists I talked to. I know based on my discussions with her, as well, that she continually takes classes to learn new techniques and such which I think is super important. I would DEFINITELY recommend Amanda J to anyone I know!

Amanda did makeup for the bride and bridal party at my cousin's wedding, and I knew I had to have her to my makeup for my bridal party! She was professional, prompt, and worked well with all of the different personalities in my wedding party. Everything from booking the date to making the payment was easy with Amanda. But most importantly she made me and my girls look amazing! I got so many compliments on the way I looked, and it made a huge difference for the pictures. As soon as I get back from my honeymoon I need to get a make-up lesson from her!

I loved Amanda !! She was great she was professional and friendly. She was great to work with and anytime I need a Makeup Artist it will be Amanda that I will seek.

Amanda did an incredible job with my makeup for my wedding day. She is very good at showing up the best features of your face and not going overboard. I got so many compliments on how great my makeup and my eyes looked. Amanda was very easy to work with, organized, on time and very personable. I have recommended her to many future brides!
