Jennifer was absolutely amazing to work with; she made me feel so comfortable--it was like I knew her for years!! She is extremely reasonable, really easy to get a hold of, and easy to work with. I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day! The make-up wasn't heavy at all, and it lasted all day. I'll be using her for any and all events in the future.

If you have a wedding, or any other event, you will not go wrong by booking Jennifer! Her prices are reasonable, and you get the best quality and service for the price.

Jennifer did an amazing job! My son s wedding was in Long Island and I no idea where to have my makeup done, since the ceremony was at 11 am I could not use the department store counter. I googled "makeup artists in Garden City NY" and Almond Eyes caught my attention. The style was just what I was looking for very suttle and natural. Jennifer was available on the day I needed her, she came to the hotel and even called on her way to ask if I would like a coffee! I must say the final result was Stunning!! I would highly recommend Almond Eyes for your event????

Jennifer did my makeup for my wedding and I was so extremely pleased and happy with how my makeup turned out! I had no idea how to go about finding a makeup artist, and she was one of the recommended vendors from my venue and I am so happy I got to work with her. She is friendly, accommodating, professional, and she really listened to what I wanted. I had a morning wedding and she came to my venue bright and early to do my makeup in the bridal suite. She took care and time to create a flawless look for me. My makeup didn't budge all day! I received so many compliments and I looked and felt like such a beautiful bride. I would HIGHLY recommend her services!

Jennifer was recommended to me by the woman co-ordinating my wedding. I was unhappy with the style I was seeing from the list of venue recommendations and my co-ordinator told me that she uses Jennifer herself. That was enough for me to book the trial. Jennifer was so accommodating by agreeing to come to my venue where I was spending the day doing a tasting and other meetings. She really listed to what I said I liked and was willing to "erase" and re-do whatever I wasn't quite feeling. As she promised my makeup didn't budge that night and even my fiancé said I didn't look like I had on heavy makeup. On the day of my wedding I had my hair and makeup done HOURS before the ceremony. My makeup honestly looked as flawless 8 hours into the day as it did when she first finished. I am 44 and didn't want anything to dramatic; she also did my 27 year old niece's makeup and my 75 year old mother's makeup with the same fantastic result. We all looked very much like ourselves with makeup that was not only camera ready but appropriate for the very formal attire we were all in. On top of the fantastic job she did, I had the bonus of really enjoying Jennifer's company. She is such a fun, nice woman who really really loves what she is doing!

Everyone's makeup was beautiful and exactly what they wanted. She was very professional and made us feel comfortable. She did amazing work and I would absolutely use her again and recommend her to everyone!

Jennifer was amazing with her care and professionalism. Having a trial with her really made the wedding day go smoothly since she knew what I wanted and was able to be flexible on the day of. She also did a great job with making sure the mothers were happy with their make-up as well! I highly recommend her since she was easy to work with, responsive and easy to get along with!

Jennifer from Almond Eyes did my makeup this past weekend for a friend's wedding (I was in the bridal party) and she did an amazing job! I'm picky when it comes to having someone do my makeup so it's always hard for me to find someone that I'm comfortable with but I was so happy with the application that I would definitely go back to Jennifer in the future. She chose colors that went beautifully with my eyes and skin tone and I received many compliments. Overall, great job!

I can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to work with Jennifer/Alomond Eyes. She was the perfect fit for my wedding and we just hit it off personailty wise. From my first conversation with her on email to my first trial I knew this was going to be a good match. She is a very friendly inviting person making it an even more pleasurable experience. She wants to do what makes you happy and with her expertise it winds up being a great colaboration. She loves her job and her work is fantastic. My face looked flawless and my bridesmaids were stunning all day and night. We received so many compliments. I went for a second trial just to try another look and Jennifier was all about that's great lets try a few things....Even on the day of the wedding we tweaked what we orignally thought and it worked out perfect. Jennifer is also very professional. She was on time the day of the wedding even a few minutes early to set things up and even when things got a little nerve racking she was right there to tak to you as she made your face beautiful. Loved loved loved my results. And I was the one worrying about how I didn't want to look over done or cakey...NEVER HAPPENED with Jennifer and her makeup! I reccomend 105%

My biggest fear for my wedding was finding the right makeup artist. I'm very picky about my makeup. I wanted to make sure the cake was on a plate, not my face.

I sent Jennifer a picture of what I envisioned along with pictures of the venue, my dress, bridesmaid dresses, and invitation to give her a feel of the wedding. I wanted a natural look with a red lip.

From the moment I opened the door, I knew she would add to the calm I was trying to create for my day. The trial was like catching up with a friend. She was extremely friendly and we just talked while she worked. She took the picture I brought and altered it to compliment my features. She nailed it on the first try.

She was easy to get a hold of on the time between then and the wedding and accommodating as we kept changing who was getting their makeup done. She was early the day of and flexible with the order as we weren't exactly on top of who was in what order to get hair and makeup done. It was an added bonus that she liked my playlist and was singing along. Everyone's makeup looked amazing and she finished with time to spare.

My makeup looked as good at the end of the night as the beginning. With the lashes package, you get one of her Almond Cosmetics color lip gloss that I used as a refresher during the night. It's the perfect shade of red for that fun night out!

I highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for flawless makeup as well as a zen environment on a day filled with chaos.

I can't say enough good things about Jennifer/Almond Eyes. From my trial session up to the day of the wedding, Jennifer was quick to respond to any questions or changes that I wanted to make. She puts you at ease with her personality, knowledge, competency, and flexibility. I just loved my makeup!! I can't even put into words. I wanted a pretty "wedding" look with a little flair/edge and Jennifer seemed to get what I wanted right away. My mother in law and matron of honor booked makeup services, as well, on my recommendation, and they couldn't have been happier. My matron of honor was so impressed.....she is still talking about it. And my mom, who initially decided not to have her makeup professionally done, ended up in Jennifer's chair. I should have known to just add her to the "list" but Jennifer was gracious enough to stay a little longer and take care of that last minute need. I would recommend Almond Eyes to any bridal party, without hesitation.

Jennifer was an absolute pleasure to work with for my bridal trial. She made me feel so comfortable so fast, and it was just so easy to talk to her. I really had no idea what I was looking for, and yet, somehow she managed to read my mind and figure out exactly what I was looking for. A few hours after the trial I went out to dinner with a few friends and during the course of the evening when I looked in a mirror, I almost didn't recognize the person that I saw reflected back. I truly am excited to see what magic she will perform on me and my girls on my big day.

Jennifer is an incredible artist. I had some acne and dark spot problems recently, I was very nervous how I was gonna look like on my special day. But she made magic on my face. I'm so lucky to have Jennifer for my wedding. I looked beautiful . She is a beaautiful person inside and out.

I was looking for a new look and Jennifer from Almond Eyes Makeup helped me with a personal makeup consultation. She sat with me diligiently to find the right colors and look that was special for me. She took the extra time as a personal shopper to ensure I got the look that i wanted and transform me into a pretter me. She not only showed me which makeup to use but taught me some of the techniques of how to apply it so I can feel beutiful every day. She acted professional, and was easy to work with. jenifer is extremly talented at what she does.

After consulting with several make-up artists, I went with Jennifer of Almond Eyes Makeup Artistry. What I loved about Jennifer is that she does not take a "cookie cutter" approach to applying and choosing the best make-up for your big day. I have sensitive and oily skin. Jennifer took this into account and made sure I looked flawless for my big day. She even threw in complimentary lip gloss for me so I can apply throughout the evening. All I can say was that my make-up was amazing ! I received so many compliments during the course of the evening.

Jennifer arrived promptly to my hotel room to do my make-up the day of and even agreed to do my mom's make-up as a surprise from me at the last minute. My mother, who is very picky, loved her make-up as well. She was simply gorgeous.

Long story short...I cannot express enough how wonderful Jennifer was to me professionally & accommodatingly. I gave Jennifer only one weeks notice and less than an hour to perform her magic. Not only did she make me feel beautiful with the makeup...she also did my hair...again, all in less than an hour and all came out perfect. First of all, let me say how much I love Jennifer as a person and what she stands for. As my makeup artist she managed to capture the exact look I wanted and transformed me into the most beautiful bride <3

I was in a unique situation as I was living in Singapore and had to plan my wedding long-distance. I was determined to find an Asian makeup artist since I wasn't sure if I had the time for a makeup trial. However, Jennifer came highly-recommended by my sister-in-law who had worked with her before. I decided to write Jennifer and right from the start she was prompt in her response and extremely reassuring. Her prices were also extremely affordable!

I managed to secure a trial with her the day before my wedding and she really listened to what I wanted and was happy to experiment different looks with me until I was satisfied. She has a great knowledge of the makeup in the market and was able to recommend me products for my everyday use :)

On the actual day, she was supposed to arrive at 6 to set up but she came 15 minutes early and was able to work ahead of the schedule for my bridal party. She didn't just slap makeup on them- she communicated with them throughout to make sure that they were comfortable and happy with their makeup and they all looked amazing! We all had so much fun with her <3

P/S: I wore "Devlin" from her personal line of lipgloss and it absolutely POPPED! I loved the entire range and my mother was so happy that she bought a tube for each of my bridesmaid as a gift <3

Jennifer did my make up for a wedding I was in last year and she was excellent. Super fun and sweet and a very good make up artist. She doesn't over do it and she knows how to adjust for each person's uniqueness. When my sis-in-law needed a make up artist in a pinch Jennifer came to mind immediately. I knew she had the experience to work with the amount of bridesmaids we had in the limited time we had to get ready and I was confident in her ability to cater to the bride's specific concerns. She was excellent and the bride loved her too! I would recommend Jennifer in a heart beat!

I could not have been happier to work with Jennifer of Almond Eyes Makeup Artistry for my wedding! I have never looked--or felt--more beautiful. Best of all, I still felt like "me"--just the prettiest version of me. All I really knew was that I wanted something "sexy and glam, yet bridal," and Jennifer translated the look perfectly. The makeup was flawless and impeccable, and lasted from the minute she put it on until the last dance, 12 hours later. Jennifer also made up my mom and two of my bridesmaids, and I was amazingly impressed--three completely different looks, yet prefectly suited to each woman. She really listens to what you want and makes it work for you. And aside from her talent, Jennifer is just a joy to talk to and spend a few hours with. Thanks again Jennifer and Almond Eyes!

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful to work with. Being of south-asian descent, I found it very difficult to find someone who did not make me look like the typical south asian bride with tons of makeup. I am a more of a natural makeup kind of gal. Jennifer really took the time out to listen to my concerns and adjust anything that I asked for. I had two trials with her. The second one was after some adjustments that I had asked for. After that second trial, I knew she was the one that I'd be using for my wedding. The reason I went back to her after that first trial was because her artistry and technique were more impeccable than anyone else that I had received a trial from and I knew that I wanted that for my wedding day. She was very easy to work with and courteous and professional. She was also someone who responded to emails asap. I really enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend her to any other brides or ladies wanting to get their makeup done.

Jennifer of Almond Eyes Makeup Artistry was amazing for my friend's wedding! I normally wear little to no makeup and have zero experience in how to apply it. My idea of 'fancy' for myself is putting on some liner, eye shadow and mascara and that's about it. Jennifer listened to my concerns about not wanting to look like a completely different person and worked some magic. The end result made me feel beautiful, natural and I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night!! I got so many compliments on my makeup throughout the wedding. Jennifer is awesome!! I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding this past weekend and could not have been happier with how my makeup turned out! The bride had been telling me how Jennifer was one of her favorite vendors because she did such a great job at the trial and made her feel so relaxed and at ease. I think any Bride preparing for their wedding understands how critical it is to have reliable vendors who do a great job! Jennifer kept all of us moving and managed to get all 11 of us completely made up in time for pictures without rushing at all. Each one of us had a similar look but yet unique enough to complement each persons features. And the best part was that we never looked shiny and the makeup did not move all day. I would definitely recommend Jennifer and will be calling her if I get married :-) Thanks again! And the lip gloss she makes is great! I bought the shade called Chloe and will be wearing it all Spring & Summer, thanks again Jenn!

Jennifer from Almond Eyes was absolutely a dream to work with for my wedding. After meeting her on my makeup trial I was hooked. She knew exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job of making me look natural but still beautiful. She was so easy to keep in touch with and communicate with, and was extremely organized and professional. On the day of my wedding she was such a joy to work with. There is nothing negative I can say about Jen's service. She did my makeup for my daughter's birthday party. It was a crazy day for me as I was running late and she worked with me while doing my makeup to let me do some things that popped up. She was completely professional, warm, listened to what I wanted and turned me into a beauty! Really, my face glowed, I looked so refreshed, with just the right amount of color for the occasion. I received so many compliments that day. I now feel like I NEED my makeup done by Jen for EVERY EVENT. I'm hooked. I went to bed late and didn't bother to wash my face (I know, not good!) and the next morning my husband said to me, "are you sure you want to wash it off, it still looks great?!". What better compliment than that?

The makeup done by Jennifer for me on my wedding day wasn't just makeup, it was art!!! But not only mine, but on my mother as well, aunt, MOH, and bridesmaid all came out perfect! I have to admit that I am a perfectionist and loved that Jenn as well is one too. She works with you to make sure that you are 100% happy with your 'masterpiece'! And I honestly couldn't have been happier with how everything came out! She is worth every penny and I would recommend to definitely get your makeup done by Jennifer while she is still available because she is going to be a famous makeup artist!!

Jennifer did my makeup for my wedding last week, for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom. She did a great job! Originally my mom wanted to do her own makeup for my wedding. After my trial with Jennifer my mom (who is hard to please) said right away she now wanted to get her makeup done for the wedding! Jennifer did a great job and everyone loved their makeup-it definitely complimented each girls skin tone and personality. Jennifer was flexible, accommodating and patient considering how none of us could sit still! Lol I would definitely recommend her to my friends!

Jennifer was amazing, extremely talented and professional. The bride's and entire bridal party's makeup was stunning. She didn't have a makeup trial with the bridal party, but knew exactly what to do. Would definitely recommend her services!

Jennifer, you are awesome! You are truly an amazing person that is extremely gifted. I quickly felt at ease with you during my trial. I loved that you listened to what I liked and suggested colors and lashes that worked for me. I have always loved the smoky eye look but was hesitant to try it because it made my eyes look too small but you were able to capture the look that I wanted for my special day.
For my wedding day I loved that you arrived early and made yourself at home. My mother loved that about you and felt so comfortable with you in her home! My mother and bridesmaids looked even more beautiful than they are and loved their glamorous looks!
Thank you so much for making me look beautiful on my wedding day! You are a wonderful person and I will definitely keep in touch for some makeup lessons in the near future! =)

Jennifer! words cannot describe how special you made me feel on my big day, but I'll try! When I first arrived at red roof, Jennifer was there greeting me with a big smile. She was extremely warm and flexible, she eased my nervous tension and transformed me with the brush of her hand. I literally felt like a blank canvas being painted on by an artist. She took my suggestions to heart and gave me an amazing smoky eye that managed to look naturally and not too sultry. It was all effortless for Jennifer. She was just fun to be around. Jennifer did such an amazing job for my wedding day! I got so many compliments from family friends how flawless my make up looked. My pictures came out perfect and really accentuated my features but also maintained a natural look I was looking for. Jennifer catered to my needs and provided professional advice that ultimately achieved a perfect look. Overall, I felt truly amazing and beautiful on my special day! Totally recommend her services. I previously went to other make up artists for a consultation and i was unhappy with them either because of the color that they choose or they were very unprofessional. I found Almond Eye Make up Artistry and this was my last attempt to hire someone else to do my make up.
Jennifer was extremely professional from the first phone call. We set up an appointment. I explain to her what i was looking for. Very natural with a little color. She pulled it off during the consultation. I was amazed that finally i can relax and not have to do my own make up. During the prep for the wedding. She arrived extremely early which is something that i highly appropriate from the company. She was very patient with all the running around I had to do during the make up application. I highly Recommend Jennifer to all my clients. And i will be using her again for any future events that i will have.

Let me first say as an African American it was kind of hard finding a makeup artist located in Long Island - especially because I was planning my August wedding in about 60 days. I contacted Jennifer via wedding wire but for some reason she didn't see it so a week later I called her directly from the number I grabbed off her website. Jennifer was so flexible in setting up a quick trial run so that I could see what I would like for my wedding. Jennifer’s pleasant attitude made it easy for us to figure what I wanted and not what she thought I needed. One specific thing that she didn’t have was purple blush, so I bought one. Other than that Jennifer had everything else I needed down to the foundation. She was so understanding about the air conditioner being broken in the house where we were getting dress; it was a bit hot that day. She did a wonderful job on my bm, moh, mob, mog and me (the bride). She even put on some glitter eye shadow on my flower girl, who was too happy for her faux makeup session. In addition, my mother practically sweated/wipe her face off doing what I don’t know, but Jennifer touched her up. All in all, I was very pleased with her service and believed her price to be reasonable. She was so good my sister used my wedding as her trial run for her upcoming wedding. The only thing that may bother some but not me because I am not a fan of false lashes is that hers normally are one time use, fyi.

I have never had my make-up done, and am so unadventurous when it comes to my own daily application that I've been wearing the same concealer, powder, and gray eye shadow for years. For my engagement party, I wanted something special and would only trust Jennifer to bring me into that world of makeup! She was terrific. Flexible with the scheduling, on time, talking me & checking in with me during the application. In the end, I got a face that was many levels more elegant than I ever could have done, but felt natural and easy to wear. The photos came out great and I realized, I am not that nervous about color. I will definitely use Jennifer again and recommend her highly.
P.S. Her line of lip glosses are gorgeous and I even got one for myself!

Jennifer is a truly caring person who wants to make her bride beautiful. She did my make-up for my wedding in June and she was wonderful. The make-up was natural looking and she really listens to what you, the bride, wants. She is also a calming person which is great to have on your wedding day!

Jennifer provided a trial makeup application for an engagement photography shoot. This was my first makeup session and I wasn't sure what to expect. Jennifer was very easy-going and flexible. She tried a couple of different things, and asked for and listened to my feedback throughout the session. Her commitment to high standards and professionalism were evident. I was very happy with the end results as seen in the final pictures. I highly recommend Jennifer.
