Mola Sent on 01/02/2026Above and Beyond is truly Above and Beyond There are not enough words to express our profound gratitude to Jill and her extraordinary team for creating and implementing a fantastic delicious and exquisite allergy safe wedding, our guests are raving about the beauty and quality of everything from the passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails to each of the dinner stations and fabulous desserts including gluten free mini sufganyot made on site, every one of Jill’s team is incredible and responsive in every way, I’m happy to share more with anyone looking for an above and beyond experience, can’t wait to work with them again sending huge love and blessings
Above and Beyond is a pleasure on every level, the menu was crafted to be safe for every allergy and was priced incredibly well especially in comparison to other caterers, Jill worked with our budget and we would work with her and her fantastic team again any day, they made my daughters wedding planning easy and without stress we are super grateful -

Our daughter's wedding was made all the more special by having Above & Beyond as our caterer. We were looking for a modern, sophisticated kosher caterer that could accommodate different dietary restrictions and help with our wedding weekend events. Jill and her team were such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. From our first meeting to discuss our vision for the wedding, to the tasting, to the wedding weekend, we appreciated Jill's knowledge, expertise, flexibility and most notably-- kindness in planning this memorable event for our family. Most importantly, the food was delicious!!! Our guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres selections, the dinner and the desserts that were passed on the dance floor. We highly recommend Above and Beyond! -

Jill and her team are one of the best decisions you can make when enlisting your wedding team! She is kind, guiding and not to mention her food and drinks are outstanding. Not only does she think of anything but she offers an array of services that go beyond just catering. She is a seasoned pro and worth every cent. Always making herself available to listen to the smallest concerns. Do not hesitate to book her as she is true to her name sake and goes above and beyond!! -

From first emails/calls to venue walkthrough to last detail calls and finally our wedding itself -- we always knew that Jill was on top of things and nothing would fall through the cracks! As someone planning my own wedding, Jill's insight and advice was invaluable; so, too, was the graceful way in which she interacts with other vendors and the venue. We heard nothing but praise from our venue and our guests loved the food and plating. It was such a lovely feeling to arrive to our wedding knowing we were in such good hands and could just be in the moment! The food was wonderful and Jill listened to our requests when finalizing our menu. We are already recommending Above and Beyond to our closest friend and would recommend to you, whomever you are! -

We were blown away by the food at a friend's wedding so naturally Above and Beyond was our first choice. Jill understood our vision and created a cocktail hour and dinner that perfectly reflected our requests. She worked seamlessly with our other vendors and paid attention to details beyond the scope of food and drink and was always responsive to our concerns. The Bride and Groom are vegetarian and knew they wanted some creative dishes, while still offering meat options. Well, Jill and her team really did go above and beyond. There were some many wonderful appetizers to choose from, and Jill was always flexible if they wanted to change a few things. Everyone loved the variety and most of all it was delicious. Working with Jill was such a delight, she made it look so easy, which we all know is an art. I would use Above & Beyond for every one of our Simchas. Thank you Jill! -

We want to first start by saying Above and Beyond is AMAZING! Jill Lamstein makes sure that your wedding is PERFECT! Not only is her food EXCELLENT, unique, and beautifully presented, but she makes the experience so enjoyable!
We have had the privilege of seeing Jill’s work multiple times (within our family) before our own wedding. It was a dream come true to have Jill cater our wedding as well (April 2025)!
Our wedding was filled with guests from all different backgrounds but one thing that everyone came back to tell us was how great the food was! Jill takes kosher catering to the next level!
As soon as we met with Jill for ourselves, we knew we had nothing to worry about! She worked with our banquet coordinator (at a venue she hadn’t previously worked at) and was praised with the highest regard by the staff there as well! Jill also makes sure that any Jewish traditions are running smoothly and makes sure that all religious articles are kept safe throughout the night!
We 100% recommend Above and Beyond Catering! We know you will feel what we did! We love Jill and her team! Thank you for making the wedding of our dreams come to life! -

Above and Beyond recently catered our daughter's wedding. To say it was spectacular would be an understatement. The entire day was perfect, start to finish. Jill has catered two weddings, a bat mitzvah, and several smaller events for us. With every event and every interaction, Jill goes above and beyond. Her team is creative, professional, and extremely user friendly. An absolute delight to work with! -

Jill and her team are absolutely first class. The food is absolutely delicious. We were blown away by her dairy free options and desserts. Jill thinks of every little detail imaginable and has done every kind of Jewish wedding. She provided beautiful napkins and linens for our event and was always positive and responsive. She even attended our wedding and helped us with opening the doors during the ceremony! Her staff was so friendly and the bartenders made any kind of cocktail imaginable! If you are having a Jewish wedding and want the best of the best, Above and beyond is for you. -

We used Above and Beyond Catering for our August 2024 wedding and cannot recommend Jill Lamstein enough! We posed a unique challenge by wanting a brunch (dairy) wedding with a kosher caterer. Many kosher caterers pushed for a traditional meat menu, but from our very first conversation, we knew Jill was a perfect fit! She was so excited about our vision and came up with incredible ideas for an elevated brunch. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the food—people were going up for fifths because it was that good! Beyond the food, Jill’s knowledge and organization were invaluable. She provided a planning checklist to keep everything on track and was a tremendous help on the wedding day, going far above the role of a typical caterer. Jill truly lives up to the name "Above and Beyond"! -

I can't say enough great things about Above and Beyond. Jill and team were amazing and made all our wadding day dreams come true. We turned our cocktail hour "stations" into the story of us, with tables representing our favorite date night spots and favorite cuisines to cook. Jill was open to all our ideas and really had things running smoothly. If we were doing it all over again, we would not even hesitate for a second to have Above and Beyond. -

They did so much to assist in the coordination of some many things including the band's sets, special food for family members, help with the flow of the day, and much more! Jill and her team are incredible. As many brides are, I was stressed but Jill's professionalism helped put me at ease. She was easy to work with, flexible, and clearly a pro with years of experience. She made excellent recommendations and did so much more than she had to for us. Her efforts did not go unnoticed. We are very impressed with Above & Beyond. The menu selections were creative and unique. The appetizers and entrees were plated beautifully and the food was incredible! Our guests were raving about the food. We opted for the passed desserts. They were wonderful and so cute! The service and staff were also a pleasure! I have only great things to say about A+B. We anticipate more events in our future where we will have them cater again. We used above and beyond for our wedding and it was so clear why their company is called above and beyond! Not only was the food incredible but Jill and her team were able to assist with everything else. Everyone was raving about how on top of everything they were and how helpful the team was in all aspects of the wedding day.

A modern take on kosher catering - tasted amazing!
Above & Beyond's kosher catering tasted amazing. We found out about them at another venue we looked at actually and are so glad we did! They were described as kosher catering service that had a more modern approach, which is exactly what we wanted. We hired them for our wedding and all of our guests could NOT STOP raving about our food. We had several cocktail stations, hors d'oeuvres, sit-down courses and passed desserts ranging in many food styles and the owner Jill and her team were able to execute flawlessly. Jill was very responsive/prompt during the wedding planning process and was accommodating to all of our needs (including many things to avoid due to allergies). She gave us a list of choices for cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres but was happy to experiment with choices outside the list or combine elements from multiple stations. We did our tasting with her a couple months before the wedding, which was really fun. She had print outs of example menus and photos to share about what food items looked like. They also offered to print/design signage for our signature drinks. The presentation of everything at the tasting was great and she even had her chef prepare us a few extra desserts on the fly. We also appreciated that she had thought about a timeline and was committed to making sure the day ran smoothly. She also made our cake exactly how we wanted it – it looked so pretty and tasted great. Our only grievance was we didn’t get as many leftovers packed up as we’d like. We had a lot of people drop out last minute due to COVID and hoped to bring home the extra food we paid for. OTHERWISE, like I said, the food was truly knock out and Jill and her team were lovely to work with. -
