Premiere Lives Up to Its Name in Every Way!
Premiere catered my son's wedding at Maple Leaf Events. At the end of the reception, my daughter remarked "you were relaxed and not worried about anything!". It was true, I enjoyed every special moment. It made me realize how expertly Premiere Catering carried out the catering plan designed by the bridal couple and Michael (Premiere owner). From the Champagne Welcome to the Cocktail Party to Dinner and Dancing, Premiere followed through on every detail. They are so low profile you don't even realize how smoothly everything is moving along. The Chef created outstanding entrees which were hot and beautifully displayed on the buffet. Many guests commented how much they enjoyed the food. The bartenders deserve a shout-out for the great drinks and personable service. Communication: excellent, Food: incredible, Staff: impeccable, Experience: Perfect!

We just celebrated our company’s 10th anniversary this past weekend and hosted a large celebration, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience with Premiere Catering.
From the very beginning, Michael was incredibly responsive and easy to reach, which immediately set Premiere apart from the other caterers we considered. After attending a tasting and being blown away by the food, we knew we had found the right choice. As our event approached, Michael remained consistent with communication and was especially helpful when coordinating rentals.
On the day of the event, we realized we were short on chairs, and Michael handled it immediately by ordering additional rental chairs—completely stress-free for us. During the event, Mitch, the chef, stayed on site and was absolutely fantastic. He had a great attitude, stayed on top of everything, and he and his staff handled the chaos of a large party with ease. We are so grateful for their flexibility and professionalism.
And the food—absolutely delicious. The brisket is to die for! We received rave reviews from our guests, and the catering was truly a highlight of the night. We also made specialty cocktails, and they were great. It was worth every penny, and we would highly recommend Premiere Catering for any event. If you want delicious food and great service, go with Premiere!

Excellent food and service.
Michael at Premiere Catering defines professionalism. He made us feel special from our tasting to the actual day. We had foodies from Portland, San Francisco and Chicago in attendance and they all raved about the food. It was an absolutely perfect day.

Gorgeous food – and they saved the day!
Premiere Catering was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. We’re both vegetarian and allergic to mushrooms, and we really wanted a completely vegetarian wedding that our guests would still get excited about. They completely nailed it!! The food was amazing, and we heard so many compliments from friends and family.
Also, John was truly the hero of the day: two days before the wedding, something totally unexpected came up that could’ve been an absolute disaster, and he handled it so calmly and graciously with an enormous pivot that most vendors would have freaked out about. He's such a star!!
Everything went off without a hitch, and we felt so supported from start to finish — they even made sure we got to eat! So, so grateful. I'd give them a million stars if I could!

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent to work with!
Picking a caterer can be a really tough decision. We had quotes from 5 different vendors in the end, but Premiere Catering was just a step above the rest. We were so impressed by Michael's communication from the very start - less than a day usually to hear back about questions, and he always had a clear answer. This massively reduced our stress leading up to the big day, and Michael and his team were flexible and accomodating for all of our requests, even the last minute ones. Then the food!! We've had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. It looked amazing and tasted amazing. And the staff were so professional during the entire day, keeping us and our wedding coordinator up to speed on everything. We did a "back yard" wedding so it was a unique and challenging setting for them, but they surpassed expecation.

Perfect! Amazing food and people!!
Best caterer I have ever worked with! They were a huge part of making our daughter’s wedding amazing! The presentation is artistic and beautiful. The service is outstanding-simply ask and they make it happen. They are incredibly responsive and make the process as stress free as possible. And, most importantly, the food is DELICIOUS!! We worked with them before when they catered another of our daughter’s wedding, which was also an amazing experience! It says a lot that so many of our relatives and friends commented on how thrilled they were that Premiere was catering because they remembered how wonderful the food was eleven years ago. They were not disappointed this time around! Our guests raved about everything-especially the mini grilled cheese and tomato soup appetizers, the cedar plank salmon and the Mac and cheese! There are not sufficient words to thank John and the staff for everything!!

Amazing all around!

Top Notch!
My daughter chose Premiere Catering for her wedding last month and could not have made a better choice. Not only was Michael extremely easy to work with but he was able to accomodate all of the dietary restrictions as well as "special" requests. Every guest raved at how delicious his preparations were from the hors d'oevures and dinner to the late night snack table. His personal attention to details and special accommodations went far and above anything we could have expected. Michael is truly exceptional and I highly recommend him and Premiere Catering.

Best catering team in portland!
Michael and John and their team are IMPECCABLE!!! My husband and I had our post wedding celebration here in Portland and Happy Valley. Michael made all of our dreams and visions come true. They were amazing to work with and so patient and accommodating to our requests (while we juggled our two toddlers while planning). Our friends and family were amazed by the delicious food as well as the GORGEOUS set up they provided. Michael handled everything from tastings and curating a menu to coordinating the rentals. Wish we could do it all over again. 100/10 would recommend Premiere Catering to anyone and everyone wishing for the perfect wedding. Thank you Michael from the bottom of our hearts!!!

A delicious dream!
We chose Premiere Catering for our 120-person wedding and were so happy that we did! The food was delicious, the servers were incredibly attentive, and our event manager Michael was extremely responsive. Michael made it easy to accommodate all of our guests' dietary needs and preferences (including my own allergy) and had even worked at our venue before. When we changed our mind on a couple menu items within just a few weeks of our wedding, Michael made everything go smoothly and beautifully. Highly recommend Premiere Catering for your event!

We worked with Premiere for our wedding day catering and it was the best decision! John and the team were amazing from start to finish. They were very responsive and answered all of my questions up front, they worked with us on a menu that fit what we envisioned for our day, and they were professional and kind the day of. So many of our guests gave us compliments on the food! People couldn't stop talking about it!

They are amazing!
We got married at the end of September and hiring Premiere was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning! Michael was absolutely incredible to work with. He was always very responsive and any questions or concerns I had he answered and eased my mind immediately. All of our guests are still RAVING about how it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! It is also very reasonably priced with a large variety of food options to select from. They set the tables up beautifully and exactly how I had envisioned. They have so many beautiful options for napkin fold, styles, and colors. Premiere Catering lives up to their name, FANTASTIC catering service
We are SO glad we went with Premiere catering. Michael was fantastic to work with, he was available whenever we needed him and was happy to respond and help me with some of my ridiculous questions. He was patient, super responsive, and very professional.
I would absolutely recommend going with Premiere for a wedding or any event, they handled our 190 person wedding without a hitch!
Their food was great and the staff exceptional. They took great care of us and our guests and we were so thankful we could say "thank you" at the end of the reception while they were cleaning up.

There are no words that could express how thankful we are to John and his staff in making our daughter's wedding a success. His service is unbelievable. Amazing food and service!

Premiere helped make our special day AMAZING
My wife and I decided to move our wedding date up, and were forced to plan everything with only a few months notice, and we were so fortunate that Premiere was available. Michael from Premiere was so helpful every step of the way. He helped us think through every detail, accommodated various changes we made, and took care of our event rentals when we were struggling to find someone who would deliver to the location of our reception. We held our wedding in a somewhat rural area, but Premiere was still willing to show up for us. Their team was attentive and kind, and the food was amazing! Everyone enjoyed it, and there was almost no food left at the end, everyone had eaten so much. Great food and service, and great pricing, makes a great choice for a caterer!

Phenomenal service!
Michael and his team was just amazing. I have nothing but good things to say. We had BBQ buffet with a little bit of everything. Delicious! It was also a very hot day and the staff was so sweet and very on the ball with keeping waters filled and always with a smile and professional demeanor. I had constant compliments from my guests that the wait staff was just wonderful. We had a close to last minute request for some gluten free foods being added and without hesitation items were included with no issues. Thank you Michael and team for making our day so special.

Amazing Food, Great Service
We hired Premier for our wedding in October. I had imagined a homestyle BBQ buffet and Michael and team hit the nail on the head. Premiere Catering was not only one of the most professional companies I have ever worked with, they were just the nicest people as well! From start to finish they were there for all of our questions and concerns and they put us at ease. I seriously felt like a VIP every time we went in to talk to them. When our 150 person guest count wedding went down to just 20 people they were ready to do what ever we needed to still have the wedding of our dreams which still included the best food! The food was just as extraordinary as their professionalism. I looked around as everyone was eating and I knew that we had picked the right people! Nothing but satisfied faces. Best catering service ever!
Premiere Catering had THE MOST DELICIOUS food we had at our tastings! After having to postpone our wedding THREE times due to COVID19 (but take that COvid, we STILL made 2020 our year!) and having to find a new venue and caterer we were SO LUCKY to have found Premiere! We were won over by their delicious tasting, the service provided, the quick responsiveness, and above all them working with our budget. They not only delivered finger licking good food, but also an AMAZING alcohol package! We had a hosted bar with wine, beer, AND 4 hard liquor cocktails! They wrote up a contract we could not refuse lol. I am not going to lie one of the things I was looking most forward to at my wedding was sitting down and having our yummy meal again! We will definitely be using Premiere for any other event that we may need to provide food such as holidays or parties. Thanks for everything guys, and Michael thank you for working with us and delivering a kick @$$ meal and drinks!

Great food and Great staff!
Michael and his staff did a fantastic job catering our son’s rehearsal dinner last week! The event was originally scheduled at a restaurant, but due to Covid, that was out of the picture. The dinner was held in the beautiful back yard of the bride’s parents. The setting, linen table cloths and all, was gorgeous.
Everyone enjoyed the food. With various food issues for some of us,(gluten free and vegan) Michael came up with great options for us all. Thanks again Michael for being a big part of a very special event!

Highly recommend Premier Catering
This review is about our experience working with Michael, the General Manager at Premier Catering. Michael is so awesome! He was very responsive, thoughtful and professional the entire wedding planning process. We can tell that he loves what he does, and it shows. We started this process with a tasting and thought the food was amazing. He was also able to cater our menu for dietary concerns such as making adjustments for things to be gluten and dairy free. Michael also helped us out by allowing us to rent lawn games through the same person who he was getting our linens from and brought those to our venue with the linens. Everyone at our wedding loved the food and desserts!! We are so impressed with Michael and we highly recommend Premier Catering!

Outdoor Wedding
Premiere catering provided catering services for our wedding. We worked with Michael Peters to finalize our menu and he handled all of the logistics. Michael was extremely responsive to all of our questions and communications. I have attended so many weddings where the catering is okay, it’s rarely been great or memorable and I thought that was just a feature of nearly all wedding caterers. When we went to the tasting for our wedding I was surprised by how good everything was but honestly expected that the final product at the event wouldn’t be as good given my previous experiences. The catering provided by Premiere was honestly phenomenal! We had a great spread from appetizers to the dinner buffet with breads, veggies, fruits, and meat. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. The grilled mixed veggies were tasty and gorgeous. The brisket was by far the star. It was tender and smoky and well way beyond our expectations. Many friends and family asked us if the wedding was catered by a local restaurant. Even more surprising some of the pickiest members of our family (children) ate virtually everything and some had thirds! Several individuals had dietary restrictions and Premiere worked with us to make sure everyone had a delicious meal. If you are looking for a wedding caterer Premiere will not disappoint.

Amazing Food, Fantastic Flexibility
The food that we picked was amazingly presented and so delicious! All of our guest were raving about it!! From the appetizer to the main course, it was incredible. Michael and the rest of the crew were incredibly easy to work with. We did the "Pick Up & Go" option, and it was incredibly easy and the best option for our finances. The food was ready on time and there were no hassles regarding the pick-up. We would absolutely use them again if we ever throw another catered party.

Premiere Catering...wedding
Premiere Catering was one of the best decisions we made when selecting vendors for our daughter's wedding. Michael did a fantastic job; the food was delicious and the display was beautifully done. We had to make the arrangements via phone/email since we live in another state yet Michael was flexible and very willing to work with us to customize the menu and we appreciated the recommendations he made. Everything went smoothly and just as planned.

Beautiful presentation and great service
From the moment we inquiries about Premiere Catering, Michael was super friendly and helpful. He was quick in responding to all our questions and the service day of was excellent. They really are full service catering and reasonably priced, I would recommend them to any couple who’s looking for an elegant expensive look without the high costs.

Premiere Catering Excellent!
Premiere Catering, in particular John McClellan and Sasha, did a great job catering our daughter's wedding. The food was impeccable and the service was great. Several attendees told me that the brisket was the best they had ever had. They did 100% (and more) of what was promised in both the planning and execution of our event. They would be my first choice for our future needs.

Dream wedding dinner
Michael and his team provided the dream dining experience we wanted for our wedding guests. He was wonderful to communicate with leading up to the event, tailoring the menu to our every specification. The service was seamless and our guests LOVED the food, we received many compliments. Knowledgeable and Delicious!
Working with John at Premier was amazing! He was so darn knowledgeable and helped us through the whole planning process. It made all our decisions easy after hiring this team for our catering! All of our guests were raving about how good the food was and there was plenty of it! No one was leaving our wedding reception hungry. During the reception, the Premier team was flexible with a few late guests. They were so professional and treated my family like their own. I would 100% recommend Premier Catering to anyone looking to throw a great party!

Premier Catering was awesome and did a fantastic job for our Gala. Michael was extremely responsive to my questions and to every detail. He worked with us to do exactly what we wanted and was able to make helpful suggestions for us to consider. The food was excellent and plentiful. The bar service was great and very friendly. Owner Michael was one of the best vendors I worked with through out my wedding process. Literally one of the best, accommodating, and helpful person I have EVER worked with. I had a sit down dinner and the rest of the staff was very nice. My family is hard to please and they had no complaints. Premier catering always answered my emails with 24 hours and were very honest and responsive. The food was also very good! High recommend to anyone looking for a hassel free catering company to make their wedding AWESOME!

We were married at East Fork Country Estate on 08/18/18 and had to use their in-house caterer, Premiere Catering. At first I was hesitant but enjoyed the tasting they set up for us. I also requested that there be some vegan and some gluten-free choices for our guests. Every email exchange was prompt, professional, and assuring. When it came time for the big day and dinner, it was all just so delicious. In fact, several guests were surprised at how delicious everything was and two even asked for their contact information!
I would consider them again if I needed a caterer. Seriously, request the mac and cheese. Trust us!

Premiere Catering- The team at Premiere Catering was fantastic throughout the whole wedding process. From the tasting 6 months prior to the wedding, communication leading up to the big day, and then the quality of food day of was simply AMAZING. Not only was the service exceptional they thought of everything and were extremely accommodating; my wife is Gluten and dairy free and they made sure food was prepared in separate locations, and made sure her food didn’t come into contact with rest of buffet. Our daughter and her new husband chose Premiere Catering for their July 15, 2018 wedding and we couldn't be happier. The attention to detail and personal service provided by Michael was phenomenal! Everything went as planned without any hiccups on their part at all. Michael was in constant communication the entire time and answered every question quickly. It's obvious that he is a seasoned veteran in this business and clearly knows how to throw a party! I would choose Premiere again without any reservation. By the way, go with the brisket pasta for your meal- wow!

My now-husband and I first met John a few months before our wedding after seeing some good reviews and were so impressed with the professionalism and expertise he provided.
He never tried to pressure us into anything we didn’t want and always asked for our opinions first. He was able to give cost saving advice on some of the decorations and stayed within our budget. He also made the experience of picking out our food/decorations enjoyable and always had excellent tips to share.
I never had to stress about my wedding because John took care of EVERYTHING; food, drinks, decorations, timeline, you name it! On top of that he also always responded to my calls and emails within 10min during the busy wedding season! John and his team showed up early to the venue and transformed the bland, boring space into a beautiful, relaxing wedding!
I’ve had wedding buffets in the past and really wasn’t looking forward to having one at my own but we couldn’t afford a sit down service dinner. The minute we tried the food at our tasting all my worries went out the door. The entire menu was delicious, it was so unique we almost couldn’t make up our minds. My favorite part of the whole day was the food, I’m not kidding, ask my husband!! John had someone assigned to me and my groom the whole day to make sure we were fed! I’m gluten free and my guests aren’t, so John made an extra special meal just for me!!
All of my guests commented after the wedding how great the food was and said it was one of the best meals they’ve ever had at a wedding. We even had some extra food to take home which we put in the freezer. It was so nice coming home to delicious prepped meals after our honeymoon.
I would recommend Primiere Catering to anyone who wants delicious food, professional staff, and stress free planning!!

Michael at Premiere Catering made us feel very comfortable picking out everything we wanted to make our wedding perfect. From going with us to pick our linens, to the complimentary tasting, we knew this would be the perfect fit. Our reception at the West End Ballroom was setup beautifully by Premiere Catering and all our guests talked about how good the food was. It was a perfect fit for us and we are so happy we chose Premiere!

I have used Premiere Catering on a couple of times for family events and I have always been impressed by their professionalism, creativity and their amazing tasty food, so I knew that when it came to our wedding, I had to ask them to cater it.
I love good food and all varieties. My (now) husband has a much smaller window of food that he likes and he is very picky. So, coming up with a menu that satisfied both of us was a challenge, but Premiere came up with the most perfect menu that truly knocked us both off our feet (and all our guests). We had 250 people and I wanted a plated salad and the rest served family style.
Not only was good food a priority, but service was also very important to me. The Premiere staff was truly incredible. Everyone was served quickly, and no detail was missed by the staff. The food was delicious, hot and presented well. Premiere also made the desserts and the set up the dessert bar, which was not only beautiful, but the rice krispie treats were the best I ever ate.
I am so grateful we chose them.

Where do I begin?!
This was on the list of caterers for the Foundry at Lake Oswego. I did my research and found that John and his team were the best option. He was very professional and the food was f***ing INCREDIBLE! We were able to choose out everything so easily and really modify the menu how we needed. Using rentals was a breeze. The room set up was perfect and during the reception John even carried my plate to my seat! (I appreciate that so much btw) He was so amazing with going around and checking on everyone.
Basically this was the best decision my husband and I could have made when choosing a caterer.
To John and your team, thank you so much for everything! You made our day so perfect!

We give Premiere 5 stars on everything -- from how they handled our initial interest and questions, the year of planning with their fast and reliable responsiveness, and finally leading up to our big day. They executed everything perfectly -- service and food was an A++!!! Planning a wedding in Oregon while living full-time in Chicago definitely had it's stressful moments, but John and Premiere were nothing short of patient, understanding and confident throughout the whole process. Had a last minute change with our previous caterer a couple months before our wedding and these guys seriously were AMAZING. The tasting was so professional and delicious. I am very pleased with Premiere and their food and service at my recent wedding. We researched and tasted at various catering companies and Premiere definitely stood out. The value you get with them is amazing! Michael and the team at Premiere were very responsive from the beginning. Not only did they include a lot of things that other places wanted to charge us extra for (linens, napkins, glassware set-up), they offered many different suggestions to make sure that we received exactly what we wanted both with catering and otherwise. They also gave us exact amounts of different decor we would need and how much alcohol and suggested brands for our guest count. My now husband and I live in Nashville and they were very accommodating of our schedule and met with us when we visited Oregon as well as allowed us to bring our alcohol, menus, decor, and food signs the week of the wedding so we wouldn't have to worry about getting it to the venue the day of. The set up was beautiful and the food was delicious! We got so many compliments on the food from our guests. I loved the variety you could choose from and it really allows for any dietary restrictions or preferences for all of your guests. Premiere staff made myself and my groom a priority and made sure we had appetizers and drinks and food all night! Everything was very organized and the left overs were packaged up nicely for my parents to take home. I couldn't have asked for a better company to hire as our wedding caterer! Would highly recommend them for any event!

I am so happy we went with Premiere Catering! We used The Foundry at Oswego Point, and they are one of the caterers you can choose from, and I cannot even begin to express how happy I am that we went with them. From the beginning, everything was instantaneously more than the other companies I spoke with, as they offered an in person consultation or one by email. We met in person with John, and it was a pretty quick decision after that. We got our personalized quote, and after a few back and forth exchanges, all of which were very quick, we settled on them. We then met and got to taste not only things that we had chosen for the menu, but also some additional items incase we wanted to change. The food was amazing in that tasting, so we were pretty excited about that. Included in the price was the dishes, the linens, and tablecloths, as well as silverware and glasses. We also got the bar package, which was completely worth it as well. They were also very clear on the fact that they have the bride and groom go through the buffet line first to ensure that they eat, which ended up being extremely helpful!
Premiere was also fast about letting us know when they had got our checks.
Day of, we were even more excited that we had gone with them. The food was amazing, and the buffet looked incredible. We received so many comments on how great the food was! Everything went so soothly, and the tables looked awesome. Also, when we were taking the rest of our photos after the ceremony, during our cocktail hour, one of the servers made sure to bring us a tray of appetizers to ensure that we got to eat them!
I highly recommend Premiere Catering for your event! They were incredible to work with, the food was amazing, and the price was the best one we had quotes to us for the amount of food to the cost!

I cannot thank Michael and the Premier Catering staff enough for helping us on our big day!! Since day one, Michael has been very prompt in answering all of our questions and emails (which there were A LOT of them) and always had great suggestions which helped us make decisions though out this process. The food was AMAZING!!!! All of my guests were absolutely raving about the food and several of them said that it was the best wedding food they had ever had.
Michael was also very accommodating. My husband is from India and we were allowed to bring in Indian food and Premier set it up with the rest of our food. We also provided most of our own alcohol and we were able to drop it off with Premier a couple days before the wedding so that we didn’t have to worry about making sure it was cold or getting it all there in one piece.
The day of the wedding went better than we could have hoped for! The Premier staff was very efficient in everything that they did while still paying attention to detail and every single person was very friendly and helpful if we needed something.
I would definitely recommend Premier Catering to anyone and everyone!!! Thank you Premiere Catering for making our day special!!

AMAZING!! We are so lucky to have found Premiere Catering, I contacted so many caterers and as soon as I began chatting with Michael I knew we found our caterer. He was so quick to respond, professional, always very helpful and did a great job being up front with all costs and working within our budget. The tasting sealed the deal, the food was so amazing. We decided on passed houderves, the pasta bar, and the desert buffet. We had people raving about all the food and several guests texted us to see if we could get the recipes for the pasta. The whole staff did amazing, very professional and kind to the guests. It was so important for us to have good food and Premiere exceeded our expectations, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest them to anyone I know!

Let me start by saying that food was not an initial priority for my husband and me. We figured that in order to have great food we would have to spend more money that we wanted to. Premiere was on our venue's list of approved caterers and one of three recommended by our coordinator. We picked them because their prices were the lowest. But their food was AMAZING! Absolutely amazing! One month later and we are still getting compliments from guests about the food. The chicken was perfectly cooked and still juicy, the steak is available with three different sauces, and the pasta rustica was delicious (and even better cold the next morning). In addition to the amazing food, Michael was so accommodating during the wedding! While my husband and I were taking pictures outside of the reception hall, he sent a waiter outside to give us some hors d'oeuvres and drinks. He made sure that we had drinks during dinner and he sent us home with leftovers. Also, during our tasting, my husband really liked the fig pizza hors d'oeuvres but we didn't end up picking it. Michael had them make a serving just for my husband! We highly recommend Premiere for catering any party. They were a large part of making our wedding as wonderful as it was!

John and the team at Premiere were great to work with – their style of communicating worked well with mine (they answered all questions in bullet-form responses to mine, to ensure everything was addressed). They allowed us to be fully flexible with our meal options that we provided, and went above and beyond on any special ingredients or requests we made (oh man – Macaroni and Cheese bar was a success). We added in small details, like a late-night snack – those were a huge hit at the end of the evening! The tasting they offered was paired with commentary: understanding their thought process on how food is put together and offered was nice to hear. They also handled our rentals for us – from ceremony chairs to round plates with silver edging (I know… picky picky!) – they not only handled the contract for the rentals, but also the set up and take down. They had champagne for us in the room after the ceremony, and the team at the bar and wait staff were gracious and fun. I swear they should have joined us all on the dance floor after – so we could all celebrate what a great event they helped with!

My wife and I were initially hesitant to go with them because they were the least expensive preferred caterer for The Foundry at Oswego Pointe. As it turns out, they were the least expensive preferred caterer because they wanted to offer the most value! I couldn't have been more pleased with the service that was offered. Before the wedding they sat down with us and gave us a sample of everything on the menu; I walked away not even needing a lunch! Due to unfortunate circumstances I was unable to get away from work to grab two kegs for the wedding as planned. With one short phone call they graciously picked both of the kegs up for me no problem. They even payed the cost upfront. Then, after the wedding they decided they weren't going to charge me for the two kegs and instead told me to take my wife out to a nice dinner! At the wedding they had an unexpected gift for me to help with the pre-ceremonial jitters! After the ceremony everyone enjoyed superb cooking coupled with top notch service! They truly helped make our wedding great. My wife and I wouldn't have been happier with any other caterer!

Food was a very important part of our wedding as we are both from San Francisco and pretty big "foodies." Premiere simply delivered and our cocktail hour/reception were fantastic. We did "family style" for our wedding and added a couple unique items, such as an intermezzo, that was custom made based on a brainstorming session we held with Peter and Michael. We were very pleased with the food and many of guests (a large number being from San Francisco), also raved about the unique dishes and the fun family style.
Gluten Free: When we met with Peter and Michael we were very pleased to hear they are well versed in Celiac Disease/Gluten Free dining and completed a training course on the topic as the bride has Celiac Disease. They were able to adjust the dishes as needed but without losing any flavor or originality. We really didn’t want to sacrifice flavor for Gluten free, and the best part is our guests didn’t even notice because it was done so well. Huge bonus as not all restaurants, caterers, etc know how to properly cook gluten free AND retain amazing flavors.
They also went above and beyond for the bride and groom by bringing us horderves while we were doing photos, and having two crisp specialty cocktails waiting for us right after we said our "I Dos." It was so special and you can tell that Michael and Peter really care about creating an exquisite experience with the food they serve and the service they provide. We were especially pleased with the professionalism of the staff and owners of this fine catering service. Highly recommend for any weddings in the greater Portland area.
Big Bonus: You can BYOB/Wine/Cocktails which is a huge plus! We simply delivered the ingredients for the specialty cocktails to their location and they did the rest. Fantastic!

WOW!!! We are a same-sex couple and were impressed with their professionalism and attention to details. They made us feel like the single most important client, from the tasting - all the way to the incredible dinner they provided for our 200 guests.
In the beginning, we had a rough idea of serving heavy appetizers. They jumped on our idea and provided amazing recommendations for both passed and station-type options. They began sketching out a vision for our special night right away, and were very responsive to our (seemingly) endless questions. When our May 2nd wedding date came around, we were blown away when we walked into the West End Ballroom to see the vision come to life. They provided for our every need and then some!!
Many of our guests tell us that this was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The Pesto Ravioli, the meatballs, and the mini grilled cheese/tomato soup shooters were BIG hits. That being said, the real culinary stars of the evening were the Cedar Plank Salmon and the Beef Brisket. Even those of us that "don't normally order" Salmon on a menu, were blown away by the flavor combinations. (My Father-in-Law is a Salmon fisherman and he said that this was by far the best he had ever had - Again, WOW!)
John and Peter provided, what felt like, a small army of waitstaff. The entire team was fun, professional, a joy to work with, and they made our guests feel like royalty. The passed hors d'oeuvres, the meal service, the champagne toast, the cake... it all seemed to just happen with zero stress or effort.
We WILL work with Premiere Catering again. John and Peter have our respect, admiration, and complete recommendation.

Premiere Catering was the best choice we could have made for our daughter and new son-in-laws special day. John and Peter gave us the "Nordstrom" customer service, professionalism and were helpful with suggestions to make the food and day even more special. Premier's staff was so attentive to the guests needs and John was always right there for the Bride and Groom.

Our daughter was married on June 26, 2015 at a beautiful venue at Mt Hood Bed and Breakfast. The wedding was a "fairy tale" but what really put it over the top was the food! Mike and his professional crew really took care of our every need. As mother of the bride every guest I talked to commented on the excellent food and presentation. As the mother of the bride, I can only say that everything was well done! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The table settings were perfection, including the candles lit all about the room. Michael and his team provided excellent service -- Michael even assisted older guests and/or guests with their arms holding little ones by carrying their plates back from the Buffet to their seat at the table. The personal attention to details was not missed!! Because of Premiere Catering's professionalism, the reception appeared to be effortless -- so easy, so enjoyable, so elegant!!

We had an incredible experience having Premiere Catering cater our wedding. They provided us all of the information we needed before the event and were happy to answer any questions we had that came up. We felt fully confident in their professionalism, product and efficiency even before the wedding. At the event they took care of everything beautifully and many of the guests told me it was the best wedding food they had ever had. With all the decisions that have to be made, choosing the right caterer was top on our list along with the venue. We did meet with 2 other caterers but only did a tasting with Premier. That sealed the deal. We loved everything we tried and had such a fun evening! We knew we were in good hands with Premier. John helped with our menu, place setting, table setting and rentals. Premier knows how to cater events, especially at the Foundry! Why use anyone else?
The buffet was beautiful and I can't wait to see photos of the serpentine tables with all the extra side dishes that were included. The salmon, steak and ravioli entrees were delicious and we kept going back for more of the homemade chimichurri sauce!
Thanks to John and Premier for a beautiful reception!

My husband and I came back from our honeymoon so excited knowing we had leftovers from Premiere in our freezer from our wedding! One of the most common compliments we get from our wedding was, "The food was incredible!" Not only was the food delicious, as Mike and I knew it would be since we tasted it and knew right away we wanted them as our caterer, but the presentation was spectacular, and the servers were among the most attentive servers I've ever seen. The minute the ceremony was over, my husband and I were the first to the reception (it was just upstairs from our ceremony ballroom), and immediately a server was there with hor dourevs and beverages for us! We actually ate, PLENTY at our own wedding! Not a single glass was empty for less than a second before a server was there asking what beverage they'd like. From start to finish, Premiere catering was on top of emails, ready to answer questions, and helped make the planning process less stressful. Mike and I both knew the day of our wedding that we didn't have to worry at all about the caterers (or any other vendor we hired for our day for that matter). Some of our family members were so impressed, they said they wanted to write a review as well (they also want the recipe for the pasta salad that was served!) If you are vacillating at all between Premiere and another caterer(s), look no further than Premier. They are professional, kind, make delicious food, and have incredible service. You will not be disappointed and neither will your guests!

We live in the northern California and chose Premiere for our daughter's Portland wedding because they had the best reputation, and my experience indicated this is 100% true.
I told John that my ranching family was coming to the wedding from Nebraska and knew quality beef and my expectations were that there be pleanty of good food and drinks. John was up to the task and everyone agreed it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding.
It is said you get what you pay for, but in this case we got a great value on a great service.

Premiere Catering went so above and beyond my expectations in every possible way. At our first meeting I was nervous and had no idea what I was doing but Matthew and Peter took me by the hand and helped me pick an amazing menu within my budget, create a look for the tables, layout the room, and even develop a timeline for the entire day. The servers and bartender were also great and it seemed like they were having a good time. It felt like I was working with family or friends who just happened to run a catering company. I really appreciated that the cost quoted included things like dishes, linens, and servers unlike other companies who add it on causing the per head cost to practically double.
The really important part was the food. Oh my goodness was the food delicious, and the buffet was beautiful! My only complaint was that people enjoyed the pork so much that I didn't get any extra to bring home which is a good problem to have. I wish I had another big event coming up just so I could get these guys to cook for me again.

Premier Catering was perfect, their execution flawless. In addition to providing excellent food and service, they also coordinated directly with our venue and worked with our event rental agency to create a seamless wedding experience.
Their flexibility was only matched by their personal touch. We worked directly with the same project manager John McLellan from the initial planning stages through to the actual event. All change requests were handled with a gracious and respectful attitude.
When we were choosing a caterer, one of the things that set them apart was the clarity and breakdown of their costs, no fees were added later, no up-selling, just a business that wants to provide the highest caliber of service to its clients.

My husband and I 100% recommend Premiere Catering to anyone looking for very professional and reliable catering services. From the tasting appointment to the day of the wedding, everything was so smooth! Moreover, like previous reviewers noted, our wedding guests said this was "the best wedding food ever!" One of our guests told me she is a very picky eater, usually only eating peanut & butter sandwiches because she dislikes most food, but she ate every last bite of food off her plate at our wedding. We can't say enough about what a terrific job Michael and the entire crew at Premier did for our daughter's wedding. Anytime we needed to make a change as we approached the wedding, Michael was extremely accommodating and willing to do so. Not only was the presentation of the tables and buffet beautiful, but most importantly the food was amazing! I can't even begin to tell you how many comments from our guests we received saying that, "This is the best wedding food I have ever tasted!"

Premier is the most honest and fair catering company in the Pacific Northwest and I would use them again without a second thought. They handled butler-served appetizers, plated dinner, and full-bar service for our wedding at The Foundry in Lake Oswego this summer (August 2013). They were attentive to our desires and accommodating to every one of our special needs, the staff was friendlier than any catering service I've experienced, and the food and drinks were fantastic.
More important to me than all that is that every step of the way they were fair on price without me ever having to question anything. Where other companies "nickle and dime" you on every little cost, most everything we needed was included in the basic cost. There were never any hidden costs, overpriced add-ons, or revised estimates that made our jaws drop. I would bet that no catering company in the Pacific Northwest can come close to them on price (or simplicity of pricing).
It is obvious to us that they care about what they do and want happy customers. These are the kind of people we like to do business with.

I think I have heard from EVERY guest that the food was unbelievably delicious. Premiere Catering is so flexible and willing to make your day perfect in all possible ways. In all my suggestions and requests, their answer was yes.
I had a family style dinner with platters of food delivered to every table. Although the process was some what long, nobody complained and the food was all still warm! They served bride and groom first, then immediate families, so that we were able to eat a good meal and they were able to get up and pay our respects to guests as they were eating. Premiere are true professionals and I highly highly recommend them!!!

I can't say enough how great Premiere catering is to work with. From the first time my fiance and I met them we were impressed. You walk into their office and its set up like a wedding table. So you get to see how things can be set up and try their food. The price is VERY reasonable. Through the whole process of planning the wedding if I needed help or had a question they responded right away and were happy to do so. They are truly a delight to work with. While planning a wedding can be stressful, these guys make it less so because they are always there for you! On top of it the day of the wedding the service is amazing! I highly recommend Premiere to anyone!
